El Cuerpo del Deseo, - Thurs., Oct. 23 - Things are revealed at the beach house

Andrés is so furious with PJ/S that he grabs something that he is going to smash onto PJ/S's head .

Fortunately, Azur barks and distracts Andrés. Good dog.

Ángela pooh poohs Antonio's suggestion that PJ could have come back in Salvador's body.

Much to Andrés' annoyance, Isabel ogles PJ/S on the plane trip. Vicky is not a good traveler.

Simón finds the new hot Valeria playing the piano and romance is born.

Okaaay! Now the good stuff. Isabel sends for PJ/S so they can go on a drive around the area. Andrés is sleeping.

Got to love the headband.

Isabel and PJ/S end up on a beach alone. PJ/S is shirtless and Isabel can barely keep from drooling.

She suggests PJ/S might like a swim.

PJ/S takes off his pants in the water and apparently wasn't wearing any underwear. He throws the pants back onto the beach and Mario jumped a little too far out of the water and there had to be a digital coverup. We can enjoy what we got.

Haha--I told my husband we got to see Mario's peepee today. He just rolled his eyes.

I'm still all about his face, though. But it was a good scene and thanks for giving us a keepsake!

Ok laughing so hard right now.... Cindy ....!

Mario looks great (could do without the headband, though).

Loved your husband's reaction, Cindy. Too funny.

I always wondered how that scene went in the editing room. Everyone sure must have got an eyeful during filming.

Ah…..we finally get the famous “beach scene.” It’s been a brutal week & I’m many episodes behind, but glad to see things are marching right along to the good stuff. Gorgeous pics, Jean; thanks. I can’t come up with many things finer than MC in the white beach outfit; it’s as sublime as the white “Sgt. Pepper” chauffeur suit was ridiculous. (Spot on description, that. Thanks to whomever made that connection.) Even the headband works for me here. ;-)

Yay! Finally got caught up again! Now I just have to catch up to DB, I'm weeks behind!

Thanks again and again to Jean for your posts and especially for the yummy Mario shots ;) Mmmm, to have been a fly on the set on that day....

Re - bipolar Val: She was once a happy, healthy, normal girl, then plunged into depression when her parents died (this was probably aggravated by her aunt - Isabel's mother whose name is escaping me at the moment - who did nothing but belittle her and treat her like a beggar). She'd starting showing a few sparks at the gym and in confronting Andy, but of course, little Mr. Sunshine always succeeded in making her relapse. I think with some positive reinforcement (in the form of PJ/S and Simon) and some sessions with a good therapist could turn her completely around. I suspect she'll have a few more relapses though (especially once Andres gets back) before she's all better. Although she once loved PJ, I think they're setting her up to end up with Simon. Also, we can't forget that Gaetana told PJ/S that his new life line was short - I suspect he'll get his revenge, then kick the bucket as part of the big finale (not a spoiler, just a guess).

RE - Eyeliner: I think the three biggest eyeliner offenders are PJ/S (as has been discussed), Angela (Poor kid has raccoon eyes) and Simon. The later two are very very fair and I think the problem is the shade they chose is too dark for their hair. A nice camel colored eyeliner for Simon and a medium brown for Angela would do wonders. As for PJ/S, they just needed to have used use less. It looks like they've done it both in the eye and under the lashes. On occasion, you can see similar eyeliner debacles on Andres and Walter.

Jean I must say thank you for the wonderful recap of La Traicion. The crafting you put into that novela
(and this one also) is nothing short of works of art. My gal friends love them also..I've downloaded all to go with the videos...Thank you so much you've help make our intro into Spanish speaking TV fun and not so intimidating. We love Mario Cimarro novelas....and we lucked out finding you to go with them... ;))

Finally got caught up. I have to say, I give Isabel a lot of credit for trying to call off the engagement. LOVED the scene between her & Andres where she explained why. Great performance by both, but especially Ms. Rojas. Well done.

I must say, though, the wedding episode was a lot of fun... I loved watching Isabel & Andres dance together at their reception. They looked like a couple of siblings forced by their parents to dance together at a family party.

I also loved the scene with PJ/S challenging Andres to try & get rid of him; the testosterone was crackling in the air during that one. As attractive as Mario is, Martin Karpan also has an extraordinarily beautiful face. I'm in awe of those amazing hazel eyes, his dimples, and that incredible mouth. Yummo (as Rachael Ray would say). ;-D

Sexed-up Valeria looked fabulous at the wedding, but her dress looked more appropriate for a beach party. Can't say as I'd recommend a skirt with a thigh-high slit for wedding attire. But then again, the bride wore black, so looks like all the rules were off for this one anyway.

Cracked me up: PJ/S reading "The Economist" magazine on the plane. (You can take PJ out of the business, but you can't take the business out of PJ, I guess). Also, the name of the yacht at the beach house: "Humdinger". They couldn't have given it a Spanish name?

I think Thursday was the first appearance of the Diego Vargas tune, "Hoy Te Vuelvo Enamorar" ("Today I'll Make You Fall in Love Again"). This is a terrific tune, and Vargas' voice is the perfect vehicle for it. That smoky quality he has is the perfect audio complement for all the visual beefcake on parade here. It's nice to have a new tune to alternate with the Lorena Rojas theme song, and such a good one at that.

Heads-up on Monday: Mario's pooch, Mambo, finally makes his ECDD debut!
