Jean, since I'm temporarily without access to ECDD, I now understand just how important your LT recaps are to those waiting for them. Even these brief discussion notes & photos become like a serialized bedtime story that I eagerly peek in on each day. Thanks. ;-)

I could use just a teeny bit more detail on the PJ/S's car thing. What did Walter do? Also, what was he doing staying out all night?

So THIS is the episode which begat the famous 'lick' shtick. I agree with you 100%, Jean; it's just gross. My jaw just dropped & I literally froze the first time I saw it on YouTube. The second thing I did was gag. ;-) However, I saw PJ/S do it first, not Isabel, so I had been blaming him for inventing it. Curiously, muzzle-licking is a sign of subordination in the canine world. Here Isabel seems to have turned it around, using it as a sign of her supposed dominance. But, the shoe'll find the other foot here soon enough...

Again, PJ/S indiscriminately drops more bits of info that only Pedro Jose would know. I can't believe that he doesn't try to make a better argument of a "spiritual connection" with Pedro Jose; he sure has the ammunition to convince anyone, especially those who'd LIKE to believe in such a connection. On the other hand, knowing what he now knows about Isabel & Andres, that kind of a connection would also put him in danger & would need to be kept secret from his enemies. Still, for all the emotional ground he makes with his loved ones, this continual confounding of them with his knowledge of PJ's life causes him to lose that by creeping them out too often.
 

When is La Tracion on ? And, is it on Telemundo? Historical novelas are my favorites and there are none on Umivision right now.
 

Girls You think licking Mario Cimarro(anywhere anytime in this Universe )or him vise versa licking(said person or excuse me bumps Cindybin out of the way ..ME...lol )is gross? *walks away scratching head in confusion* ??? Isabela didn't look grossed out all. She looked ready to challenge him to a slurpyfest duel if you ask me..and she gets her way..umm musn't get ahead of my episodes here.
...anyways Jean I wanted to know if your TV reception really looks like the coloring that comes through on these photos? I've noticed that alot of photos from other websites and alot of the Youtube vids are really distorted in the coloring department? My Telemundo comes in beautifully and La Traicion was not distorted at all. Some of the vids are orange or really red or too green or brown? Just wondered what was causing this to occur so often in the posting process?
Susan La Tra is over but you can find the show and background at the official web site. The first episodes are gone now so you have to hunt them on Youtube. A good place to start is with the poster called LaTraicionTM , this person has a good deal of them. Some of (his,hers?) are not very clear and there is interference that runs through at times but you can watch them. I'm gathering them in a file and I'm working on gathering them done by another poster.. FandeDannayMario. Jean can help send you to her recaps that are so wonderful for non Spanish speakers such as me.
 

I wasn't thrilled about her licking his goatee, either, but I liked the other way around when I saw the scenes on the DVD with HIM doing it. I'll watch Mario lick anything. (You can quote me on that.)

Marie, Walter cut the breaks on the car Salvador drives so that Salvador would get in an accident, and possibly die, I guess. As for staying out all night--I can't remember what that was about.

I agree about Salvador coming off as knowing too much. He needs to watch what he says.
 

Hi Marie Celeste- In Wed.'s episode we get back to where you left off - the party where Isabel announces her engagement to Andrés.

As I described on Monday's episode, Walter cut the brake lines on the car that PJ/S was driving with Isabel. When PJ/S got back to work fter the accident, he told Walter that he would get even. The next day was Walter's day off. Walter managed to get the home address PJ/S provided out of Abigail. He went to check on it and found it was false. PJ/S anticipated this and had Gaetana stake out the place. She followed Walter to a store and saw him shoplifting. They called security and got him arrested. He was supposed to have returned to the Donoso house that night but he didn't return until the next morning with his clothes all messed up.

Susanlynn: La Traición was a historical novela on Telemundo but it ended at the end of June.
 

Forgot to say...Some of the things Marie that you hit upon would be hard to talk about at this stage because spoilers would be blaring out from me...so I won't go there, but this little dance of dominance being played out at this early stage has Isabela parring his verbal comeuppance with her own tasty dish of the same. It's also a two-edge sword for Sal/PJ as well because he keeps thinking and telling Gaetana that he has it all under control or that he's about to get it all under control..( I love it when he says these little insights to her. She just looks at him like he's delusional as all get out and they're all about to meet up with the devil in the next bend in the road)lol .. well at least the game is up and running from here on out... full throttle as I always say ;))
and Cindy I knew the Mario slurpyfactor would be two thumbs up from you!haha

Thanks for the details, everyone! You're right, Jean; I forgot you'd mentioned Walter's sabotaging the car previously. It's interesting that Walter's comeuppance came courtesy of his own stupidity. Thanks also for getting me back on track with the TV broadcast. I've missed it. :-)

Anonymous, my computer shows all Jean's screen shots & most YouTube videos with very clear, vibrant colors & proper tint, 'LaTraicionTM's videos excepted. (Those videos are pretty grainy so I can't speak to their color accuracy.) I'm not sure what might be the cause of the distortion you're seeing.

As far as the 'licking' thing goes, I guess it's just not my cup of tea. As I said, I actually saw Salvador do it first, and it just struck me as such a blatantly condescending gesture, which, coming from a man made it also laughably chauvinistic. I saw it first in an isolated videoclip, with no story background. Now, having that, plus knowing that his use of it was reciprocal & not an initiation of it makes it a little less obnoxious, but it's still a little over the top for me...

I also roll my eyes whenever PJ/S spouts off about knowing what he's doing/having things under control. That's telenovela-speak for, "You'll want to get out of the way because I'll be taking a fall here shortly."

How awful about the cessation of English captions by Telemundo. Yet another casualty of the economic times, I guess. Seems to me it would really hurt their ratings. Maybe a letter/email-writing campaign as suggested over on the TW Forum would be a useful effort, who knows...
 

Thanks for the heads up about the photos and videos. I have a million photos of Mario and watched about everything on line. Those that I've picked up around the internet mostly have been really discolored..which in turn I take them and clean them up in photoshop. Thats why I was asking because I thought it was weird that so many were orange. Now I know its just my darn puter. Thanks ;)) By the way my name is Soulcatgirl.
