Jeri: An extremely insightful, clever and thoroughly enjoyable recap. You always capture situations and events with stunning clarity: "Juan José ... resignedly points out when Marcos begs for help that everybody makes their own luck -- and that Marcos has been happily throwing his away with both hands".

Juan did indeed have "happy feet"! I loved seeing him leaping joyously into the air celebrating his life and his freedom, taking in the sights, sounds and smells with delight and intensity.

"David berates Adolfo for throwing his weight around against a couple of girls and over some stupid shoes -- which he himself tossed in the trash, he informs them." Finally, someone stands up to the loathsome Adolfo.

"Carlos is only interested in and bristling at the part where David was apparently in L.A with Gabriela." I must say, I loved Carlos' pink shirt and tie. And, his reaction, complete with a right eye eyebrow arch (one of highest I've ever seen) was simply great.

Juan was shocked at the amount of money Elsa owes. I wonder how she will pay it back? I hope there will be a worthy galan when Juan (inevitably) breaks Elsa's heart. She is so sweet and deserves some good fortune.

Also, my TV listing for Comcast shows LVO airing all nights this week.

Jeri, thanks again!

Diana, thank you for your ever-thoughtful comments, and I'm glad you finally got to see the episode! It's a good one.

(For those seeking comments on it, most are at the earlier post.)

Good point about Elsa; I also wonder who they could get for her now that you mention it.

Carlos is carving a niche for himself, isn't he? Kind of makes me chuckle; he's on the wrong side but still has his charm.

Thank you so much for checking the schedule. It's a bit nerve wracking.

Jeri, thank you for the great recap and links which I used since I needed my LVO fix over the weekend.

Yes, Carlos is an interesting character since his father, Adolfo, has him out of the loop for some reason, maybe he doesn't trust him, and is constantly abusing him verbally. Carlos in turn abuses Roberto but is also always bailing him out. Roberto, the leech and user, in turn brought up that "bastardo" matter which ticked off Carlos which makes us think this matter has come up before. We know David and Gabi are not the children of their parents and maybe Carlos is not Adolfo's son. Lucky if he isn't. And, yes, it was apretty funny when Carlos became enraged at David not for insulting his father but for David having taken advantage of the LA trip as he had planned to do himself.

Hopefully, we will be seeing more of JJ now that he's free.

Thank you for the recap again!

I only hope Elsa won't become a bitter spinster after realizing that JJ doesn't want her.
