I'm thinking that this is probably Catalina's first kiss. Ever. In her life. And what? About a week or so after her wedding? D'ya think she liked it???
They are both innocents, Cristóbal becoming a priest & Catalina becoming a nun, although against her will.
This is a lovely story of people loving each other before the sex, when it happens, no doubt it will be good.
Both actors are doing an exceptional job of love, innocence, caring and appreciation. Now let's get hot!

I wouldn't be surprised if a 12-year-old Cristóbal sneaked a few kisses with the maid's daughter behind the mango tree, ala MEPS with genders reversed. But Cata? Jamas!
Thanks Paula and Carlos. And yes, a very sweet picture. Her mind is expanding like a helium balloon at the first time anyone has treated her so well. She has had the worst of examples watching her dreadful slimey father be rough and savage with her mother and anyone else he feels he can over power. I am so glad Cristobal has put him on notice that he can't harm her ever again.
Esperanza was so wistful and a truly sympathetic character today. It's too bad she looks most beautiful as her life slips away. The anger and fear all seem to have left her face. When Luis came in it was a really touching scene. I wish she had given him the truth he seeks. I hope she does it before she dies.

Even though it's been a while since I've watched this, that beautiful picture brought back memories of how touching and wistful that slow-building romance was.
Good morning. Thanks to both Paula and Carlos. The semester has begun, so I can't watch Alborada in the afternoon anymore. I have to catch up this weekend on the past few episodes. The gentle romance between Catalina and Cristobal is a pleasure to watch after the constant yelling and bickering on Fuerza.

I also love this romance between these two. Catalina has definitely changed for the better-- first under Hip's influence, and now Cristobal's influence. Can't wait till things really heat up between them. :)
I love to watch Iran Castillo with Rafael, her real nephew. You can see that she adoes him. Will ther EVER be another novela as great as Alborada ? I have little hope. Has anyone heard what telenovelas Eduardo Yanez and FC will be in next ?
