Yikes! Anyballs announces to Nik-ita that she and Roy can take over his NYC apartment, from there they can travel anywhere Roy needs to for his tournaments. But Anyballs wants to speak to Roy first. At apartment, Angel is making JM’s poor cake pay for his irritation. After drowning the numbers 1 and 8 on the cake, he grabs Cris and tells her he knows well that he married a great woman, she gave him the greatest gift, his solecito… if it was not that way, he would have…. (she asks him WHAT??) … he backsteps and says ‘have spent so many great moments with you… I would never harm you…’ (she asks him why saying that)..’ if you really want to work with KenDrat, I will respect your decision’.
Door noises… Lilli arrives just as Angel is finishing the cake…
Angel begins to sing the mananitas, Cris joins the song… Lilli is moved/blushed/ happy. They give her their well wishes. She says she is very happy because they are together. Lilli loves the presents from: Cristina (earrings), Angel (bracelet), Opalina (diary with note: may life fill you with blessings and may God support every one of your wishes and make them realities’), Anyballs (gift seems more jewelry + card saying she is a very special young girl, wishing her the best ) and Vicky (beautiful red dress and silver clutch and silver shoes, no wonder Vicky said she wanted Lilli to wear her present). Cris puts a sour face at hearing Vicky’s name and of course spits ironic comments about the THREE SUPER GIFTS… (stupid fool).
Lilli also gets a long distance phone call greeting from Abuelita Candelaria.
Cande asks Lilli what present she wants. Lilli only wants her to come visit. Cande promises will come see them very soon. For now, sends loving kisses on phone.
At home, Vicky is gathering the valuables, still on phone with Inepto’s crooked voice. She keeps begging him not to harm Tomasina.
Roy comes to get Nik-ita to go with him to club, but first he will sit for breakfast with her. She wanted to talk about some wedding details.
Polita sees Vicky, thought she had left already. Vicky asks Polita where they store the bags… she will get them herself. The voice repeats she needs to use the back door…
Vicky comes out the back(service) door… A bodyguard walks by…
At Sonora, Candelaria is talking to priest… she tells priest there is no way to avoid going there to visit… Padre says things happen for a reason. If your granddaughter asked for that present, you can’t let her down. Cande says you know the reason I have given up being near them. Priest says this is the chance God has sent her to exorcise the ghosts from her past. IT is time you reveal the secrets you have been keeping. Cande doubts she can. He says don’t torture yourself more. You are also harming those you love by staying away from them. End with your guilts. Those are the ones keeping you from enjoying life with your daughter and granddaughter. Cande gives in, alright, let it be God’s will. (YAY!! Vicky comes out the back gate… this way they let Vicky see Tomasina without being able to alert her to what is going on. They tell Vicky to walk on other side of street. Vicky approaches the car with the bag… the other guy, Taliban comes and yanks the bag from her, tells her ‘I got something for you’ and then shoots Vicky on the side by the left hip. Inepto is shocked to see Taliban shoot Vicky on his own initiative, then another guy comes in motorcycle and Taliban makes a quick exit with the bag… (yup, they took Inepto for a fool again…). Meanwhile Vicky falls to floor.

Doris- The way Anibal always bankrolls these guys from supposedly good families who marry the women in his family, he might as well have let them marry the poor guys they first fell in love with and bankroll them. Those guys likely would have been way better choices when it comes to marriage and integrity, and likely would not have accepted the money. I am so ready for Vicky's ex and Adri's ex to show up. Maybe one of them could be a possible new love for Cris?

Wonderful part one of this recap. It's too funny really that the harder Ms Vikki and the Angel try to stay apart, the more they are together, at least in the first part.
I had to laugh when FF was whining to himself. Ms Vikki's neglect Que Que What????? He was the neglectful one, but then again it's all about him. Where is Balzac when we need a good "load" in the FF's shoes, jus' sayin'.
I wonder if Anyballs is gonna quiz the Roller boy about his finances? One can hope. Then maybe Anyballs can put the kibosh on the marriage cause Roller Boy is broke.

I have really been thinking about Kendho's pregnancy, if she is pregnant. Could the FF really be the Papa? How many times has she slept with Dances, oh the horror! I really wonder, if she is pregnant, who the bebe daddy is. Seems to me, she slept with Dances more than FF. Just a guess.
Marta- Thanks for the great Part 1. I really hope they don't wait for the final capitulos to reveal that Lili is Lucia. I want to see Adri happy already. Of course, that will further mess up Cris's life-- although it doesn't have to. There is room enough in LiLuci's big sugary heart for two moms.

Vivi, I've reviewed the shooting and it's difficult to say. Where he held the pistol as he shot her and looking at the angle from which he shot, I'd say he may have nicked the descending colon and maybe the dome of the bladder or even the uterus or adnexal structures as well as some small intestine. However the bullet could have gone mostly through subcutaneous fat and missed the abdominal cavity entirely.
However, as she was lying on the ground she was holding the area just under the left ribcage where the bullet could have hit not only the colon but also the spleen and even the liver on the other side and possibly the pancreas.
