Caray, Caray!

Antonio reports to Francisco that he has the financial info from Trejo Bonfil to hand over.  Francisco asks if Ricardo went to visit Trejo Bonfil, but Antonio doesn't know.  Antonio asks about his salary.

Eliseo phones the big boss man in the DR to report that things are rotten in Hermosillo.  He explains that JL, er, "El Zorro" (The Fox)  is mixing business and pleasure.  As is the big boss man with his secretary, it appears.

Fabiola, shrouded in Piero's coat, walks into his apartment, sobbing.  Piero offers her some water and gets her to sit down.  He encourages her to tell him what happened.  She disputes him calling her "innocent" and says she isn't anymore.  Piero tells her that what's done is done and we have to learn to deal with it.  Fabi says she feels dirty. Piero babbles about youthful mistakes made in the heat of the moment and tells her not to be so hard on herself.  "I didn't want to.  I couldn't stop him," Fabi sobs.  She says Sebastian was like a beast and she can't tell her mother or her mom will kill her.  "I don't have anyone."  Piero hugs her, but Fabi asks to use his bathroom to clean up so she can go home.  She gets him to agree to drop her off close to home, but not at her house.  She asks if it's true that Sebastian's mom is…"sick?  Yes."

Lucina, Raquel, and Ruben share some drinks to celebrate Ruben's new job with a friend who just got a big contract.  It won't be a lot, but he'll be comfortable.

As Berto walks in, he takes a call at the desk from Lila.  She's upset that she wasn't informed about what showed up in the paper so she can contest Gabriel's will.  She's furious when she hears that Ricardo refused the partnership with Castro.  Berto tells her to get over it already, but Lila refuses to let it lie.  Berto hangs up on her while she's mid-complaint.

Piero drives Fabi home, but she doesn't want him to walk her inside.  She asks to borrow his coat, though.  The guy who works at the house who isn't Jorge asks Fabiola where she's been and doesn't seem to buy the "at a friend's house" story.  She asks him not to tell her mother.

Fabiola gets inside and Nadia asks where she's been.  Fabiola also asks her not to tell her mother.  As she leaves, Inés sees her and asks Nadia what's up.  She hears from Nadia that Lina didn't eat her dinner.

Inés goes into her room and finds Tito sitting on her bed.  She goes into Lina's room, where Lina is sitting at her desk, staring at her dinner.  Inés says that Lina didn't go say goodnight to her grandmother or eat her dinner.  She tells her that what her dad told her is a lie.  "You never told me lies?  That my name is Lina?  That you're Inés?  And that my dad was dead?  Those aren't lies?"  Lina just wants to be with her dad and she's pissed that Inés wants to be with Ricardo when he hurt a girl.  Inés tries explaining that it's not true and she'll explain it all someday, but Lina just wants her to get Paloma's permission for her dad to live with them.

Raquel and Francisco, post-illicit-nookie have a discussion about how he's obsessed with getting Oriana back, and why bother when he's got Raquel, who would be perfectly capable of popping out a kid for him if he'd just quit using "protection."  Francisco quizzes her about how the whole "Inés" thing started.  Raquel laughs that of course it wasn't Oriana's idea…no, it was Lucina.  "She's smart.  Like a fox."  Francisco has a good laugh over that.

Jorge confers with Inés' new bodyguards and fills in the other guy who works at the house about yesterday's kidnapping attempt.

Inés and Lina go to visit Paloma in the morning.  She got the doctor to lower her dosage, so she's sitting up .  Paloma notices Lina's sad face and Lina asks if her dad can live there, since her mom won't go live with her dad.  Paloma tells Lina she'd like to talk to him first, and then they'll decide.  Lina just wants everyone to live with her…though her list doesn't include Ricardo or Matilde.  Inés and Lina leave.  The nurse wants to give Paloma some "drops," since she probably noticed that who exchange was stressful for Paloma, but Paloma turns them down.

As they're going to the car, Inés tells Lina she can't believe she would ask that.  Why?  The last thing the kid asked for was a princess party with a bouncy castle and she got that, so there's precedent.  Jorge tells her about the car and the bodyguards waiting out front for them.

Ricardo asks Celio about the guns, but the best he could come up with was the refrigerator.  Where exactly, I wonder?  Would you just stick them on a shelf?  In the door?  One of the crisper drawers?  He gets a call from Paloma who wants to see him as soon as he can.

The nurse checks in with Paloma to see if she's feeling any better and Paloma tells her that, yes, Inés is married, but the guy hadn't been around for a long time and has just recently shown up.

Padre Plaid is in his formal Padrewear for a convo with the Bishop.  The Bishop informs him that Cesar's spiritual advisor doesn't think that Cesar has any real vocation for the church.  Padre Plaid pleads (say that ten times fast) with the Bishop to give Cesar some more time, but the Bishop is wise to Cesar's mommy issues and tells him that time isn't everything.  Cesar isn't acting out of faith, but to run away with his problems.  And also he keeps asking for advice about avoiding impure thoughts.  The Bishop wants Cesar to go back home, get his earthly life in order, and then maybe he can re-enter the seminary.  The Bishop turns his attention to Padre Plaid's impure thoughts now.  Padre Plaid says he's, well, a little obsessed with helping her, and he doesn't know how.  The Bishop tells Padre Plaid to take a biiiiig step back from her and he ought to stop having problems.

Ricardo visits the Industrial Chamber to explain to the chairman (?) about that lovely newspaper article.  The chairman is concerned that Ricardo's personal scandal is going to affect the reputation of the association as well.  Ricardo sums up the situation for the chairman and ends with saying he might just leave things as they are and continue taking responsibility.

Piero gets to work and goes looking for Ricardo, who isn't in yet.  As he leaves, Paulina starts nervously gossiping with Marilu about the allegations in the paper and how it's going to be such a scandal and if Ricardo doesn't fix it like he told Marilu he would the company's reputation could be affected and they could even lose their jobs!  Marilu starts to look just the tiniest bit concerned.

Inés calls Francisco to chew him out for turning their daughter against her.  "No," Francisco corrects, "against Ricardo!"  The way he figures, his daughter needs to know what a bad, bad man Ricardo is so she can protect herself.  Inés tells him he had no right and she wants to meet him in two hours to discuss things.

Francisco gets a call from the Big Boss Man, who has come to Hermosillo just to see him.  He sets up a meet at a bar, but unlike Inés, he won't wait two hours, he wants Francisco to meet him there right away.

On their way back from the seminary, Padre Plaid and Cesar talk at a gas station about Cesar's next move.  Cesar feels like he failed, but Padre Plaid agreed with the Bishop that he can't just become a priest to run away from his mother, and it's good he was stopped before he'd made a big mistake.  Cesar wants to go back to Casa Bonita and then see if Ricardo can get him a job.  "But this time, in an area where you're comfortable," adds Padre Plaid.

Paloma wants an explanation from Inés about WTF Lina is talking about.  Inés tells Paloma about the scare the previous day when they thought that he was kidnapping her, but he was really just turning Lina against Inés.  Paloma calls BS on the whole "he's a good man," line that Inés keeps trying to use.  Ricardo comes in and Paloma tells him that Lina now wants her dad to come live with them.  Ricardo refuses, cause it's his house.  Oh, no, wait….  Inés and Ricardo get into an argument about it, but in the end, Paloma says there's no way she's letting him move in and Inés agrees that he'd never do it anyway.  "So, what, then?  You're going to go live with him?"  Inés says she's going to try to come to an agreement with him, and Ricardo loses whatever cool he had left, insisting on going with her because "What if he tries to kidnap you like he did Lina?!"  Go for it, Ricardo, give your sweet old godmother a heart attack.  Inés quickly explains to Paloma that that's not how it went and Francisco just took her out for a burger and some brainwashing.  Paloma asks Inés if she still loves him, but Inés, looking at Ricardo, says she doesn't.  Paloma insists that Inés divorce him and turn him in for being a criminal.  As Inés and Ricardo exchange significant looks, Ricardo says that Inés can't do that because of the joint account opened in Inés' name and that Francisco could also accuse Inés of being a criminal.  As the significant looks continue Paloma grouses "WTF are those lawyers doing?!  They're supposed to be finding a way out of this!"  Go on, Paloma, open that can of whoop ass!

Francisco meets with the Big Boss Man.  BBM demands to know what happened with the Aresti Breton deal.  Francisco tap dances about having a new company for them to invest in and BBM says he knows, and the accountants are looking over the paperwork now.  BBM says Francisco just needs to quit mixing business with his personal affairs and says he knows Francisco only chose to come to Hermosillo for his old lady.  Francisco figures out that Eliseo ratted him out and tells BBM that proves Eliseo isn't trustworthy.  "Hmmm…no, he told me, which is different.  I'm his boss.  I pay him."  BBM agrees with Francisco's logic that "if he would tell you, he'd tell anyone."  He asks what exactly Francisco's personal business is and then reminds him that when you get into this business, you have no family.  "But, boss, you've got a wife and kids, what about them?"  Once again, BBM agrees, but he doesn't see what he can do to help Francisco get his family back.  "You know people in Colombia.  I'm sure with some money, they can help me."

Ricardo begs Inés not to get back together with Francisco, but she doesn't have any intention of getting back together with him.  She's worried that when Paloma finds out the truth, she'll hate her.  Ricardo suggests getting Mariano and Lucina involved and all sitting down with Paloma to break it to her gently.  Inés doesn't think Paloma will forgive her, but Ricardo thinks she'll at least understand.

Francisco notices that Inés has arrived with bodyguards.  He invites her for coffee or wine, but Inés says they can talk at a park bench.  Inés tells him that Paloma knows everything…EVERYTHING.  Including that she's Oriana and not Inés.  Francisco tells her that he has some good news for her.  Good for her, but bad for him.  He's ok with that, though, if it makes her calmer.  He asked some friends in Colombia to investigate the joint account so a graphologist can analyze the signature and say her signature is fake.  That will get the charges against Oriana dropped.  He says he did it because he loves her and wants only her peace of mind and for them to be the family they used to be before.  "You, our daughter, me…even the dog, if you want."

Inés picks up a snotty, crabby Lina from school.  The teacher asks about the bodyguards and Inés says that she's been separated from her husband for years, but he's back now and she's worried that he'll try to take Lina.  She asks the teacher to please not let anyone but her pick Lina up.  The teacher seems annoyed and asks why she doesn't just call the police.  "It's complicated."

Piero meets Ricardo at Paloma's.  He finds out that Inés is out meeting with Francisco and hesitates to bring Ricardo more troubling news, but….  He tells him about seeing Fabiola leaving Sebastian's apartment.  "She was all messed up, crying…long story short, Sebastian raped her."  Piero says he doesn't know exactly what happened, but while Fabiola might have willingly gone to Sebastian's apartment, she didn't sign up for what happened after she got there.  Ricardo wonders if Sebastian used a condom, but Piero didn't have the heart to ask.  Ricardo hopes he didn't get her pregnant.  Piero says that it's not the first time he's seen Fabiola outside of Sebastian's and he thinks someone should talk to her and explain that Sebastian is not to be trusted.  They agree she's not going to be comfortable having this conversation with a man, so Piero suggests Inés talk to her.  Just then she and Lina walk up, with Lina shooting Ricardo with her ocular death rays.  Lina goes on into the house and Piero takes his leave as well.  Ricardo asks Inés for an update.

Cesar tells Padre Plaid he's decided to stay at Casa Bonita so he can confront his temptation.  Lucina welcomes him back warmly and Raquel starts laying on the fake charm.  Her smarm is interrupted by Ruben happily welcoming his son back.

Inés tells Ricardo and Paloma that she told Francisco that unless she sees an official document saying that the charges against her have been dropped, she won't believe him.  She knows he could fake one, but she figures they could check with the Colombian embassy.  "What does he want in return?" Paloma asks.  "For Lina and I to go back with him."  Paloma refuses, but Inés says they won't go far. Francisco is investing in a local company, Trejo Bonfil.  Paloma and Ricardo say they have to warn Trejo Bonfil, though Ricardo wants to wait until the charges against Inés have been dropped and then turn Francisco in.  He insists they have to free her from him.

Lucina gets an address from someone via the front desk phone and won't tell Raquel where she's going.  She warns Raquel to stay away from Cesar and tells her that if she keeps treating their place like a whorehouse instead of a decent hotel, she'll dissolve their partnership.  Raquel snipes at Felipe for listening to the entire conversation they were having right in front of his workspace, as if he could avoid it, and tells him to let her know as soon as Francisco Castro is back and to bring her a vodka.

Inés walks Ricardo out and asks him what he's going to do about Sebastian.  He tells her he's thinking of just leaving things as they are and taking the blame like he's been doing.  He does ask her to have a conversation with Fabiola because she and Sebastian have been "having relations" and he wants her to find out if they used a condom.  Way to send her in under false pretenses, there, Ricardo.  He tells Inés they need some time for themselves, but Inés says now is not the time.  She insists that she's going to negotiate with Francisco and, well, they'll see.

Ruben tells Cesar that he had to get away from Matilde, so he left the house.  Cesar tells him that he couldn't hack it at the seminary because he needed to resolve his mommy issues.  Ruben explains that he was dating Fidelia when he met Matilde and, well, she was a flirty heiress (Flirty?  Matilde?  I can't even picture that!) and his greed got the better of him.  "And look at where we all ended up."  Ruben's not even sure Paloma knows he's left the house.  Cesar says if there's one thing he learned in his five minutes at the seminary, it's that they all need to speak to each other honestly and his mother will have to learn to deal with that, because they're family.  Ruben thinks Matilde's pride is going to prevent that, but Cesar thinks God will help them.

Ricardo summons Inés to Padre Plaid's Gym of Penance.  He tells Padre Plaid he thinks their plan is for the best and suggests they have the cardiologist present.  Lucina comes in.  She remembers Padre Plaid from the party and tells him she was thinking "Oh, a handsome priest, what a waste!"  Padre Plaid just laughs.  Probably because she doesn't say it like she's about to jump him.  She hears from Ricardo that he and Inés aren't back together again and declares that another waste.  Padre Plaid offers her coffee, but Lucina says she's too nervous and she'd rather have a tequila or, hey, how about some of that consecrated wine.  Padre Plaid laughingly agrees.  Ricardo tells Lucina that they've got to convince Inés to tell Paloma the whole truth.

Tomorrow: they at least try to tell Paloma the truth; Oriana breaks up with Ricardo…again; Ricardo and Francisco have a fight in the rain.
