Por siempre mi amor #39 1/28/14: Ugh, Art Dad is Bashing the boy we have come know as Dashing :P)
RECAP BY CORAZONSALVAJE:
(WOW, I didn't know this was the episode where Esteban finds out 'Za cheated on him AND the car crash takes place. We're literally in for a wild ride.)
We begin with a scene with Art Dad and Isa intimacy.
Next we have FeVier faint and el Ruco and a guy lifting him onto a couch. Soni brings smelling salts and he feigns awakening from his spell followed by a unhearty laugh.
Gabs and Nick together and he asks if she has any feelings for BrunBrun left. We yell HECKS YES and she denies it all.
Art Dad, Isa and 'Za at breakfast when Estebonbon comes in and 'Za talks with Este.
A scene with BrunBrun and Tita(?) (I wasn't in the room for the part.
Dafne is in bed and Bitch Duck (her "mother") comes in to disturb the peace as usual.
AD and Isa are outside while Este and 'Za are in talking. She confesses she is no longer in love with him. He is devestated and she confesses she has found another and that she has cheated on him with that insignificant other. He is more red than usual and speaking through clenched teeth rather angrily. (You know, if he is this angry now, just wait 'til he finds out whom is the bloke his girl had ditched him for. He will be as red and black(-hearted) as HELL. However, we really can't blame the boy. He is always good with angry scenes cough-cachitodecielo-uncough.) She responds to all this anger with a slap which knocks the anger out of him but in enters EVEN MORE. Isa and AD come in to separate the 2 and he blames it ALL on Este. Este then takes all the blame as well and leaves. (This boy really is too good for 'Za. He could do better. Also, he hammered RIGHT the nail on the head when he called 'Za a cualquiera.)
Illeana is with the padre and they are proud that she wants to work at the casa hogar! Aren't you a little young to be working here? Why yes, yes I am.
Our poor babyface with Andie and he exclaims he feels bad because he hurt 'Za (no he didn't.)

Some more AD/Isa and Daffne/FeVer/'Za and A LOT more sadness but we're not outta the woods yet. Isa has been the voice of reason today though with actually wanting to get to know Javier better. Dafne as well as she wants to tag along with 'Za and FeVier. Four's a Crowd Dudette.
Andie laments to Mao about fear and how Estebonbon was her BF since their days in the vecindad. Angel creeps and overhears.
AD & Isa are preparing the crib and mobile/canopy with Gabs who changed her Nick plans and is with her GalPal.
FeVer is with 'Za asking how long has Isa been prego. She responds with 6 months. It sure would be a shame to have something happen to the baby/girl wouldn't it?
Andie and Mao are talking and he re-assures her Este knows better than to be exactly like his father. Something bout suspecting something and that they both will speak with him. They don't wanna lose his trust.
More 'Za and FeVer discussing Isa's Prego-city.
Este is calling 'Za and leaving apology messages in her voice mailbox.
Oso is with AD and he tells AD that TIta wants to take a trip. After some discussion, Oso is convinced.
FeVier and 'Za are together and she excuses herself for a second. He requests to borrow her phone and she obliges. He obtains Isa's picture and phone number. He is a grade-A creep!
Marianela is remembering Daniel telling her she is pretty and she is all swooning and in love. Borlas kills the daydream and calls her over.
More FeVier and 'Za. Blech (or Bleach and tons of it. ALL over FeVer's face.)
Daffne Duck is running to AD and crying telling him she witnessed a fight between her stepdad and Bitch Duck. Ya no puede mas. Ya se quiere ir. AD lets her stay.
You know, for a douche, FeVier had adorable taste as he has a bright yellow-ribboned puppy for 'Za. It's a keeper (the puppy, not FeVer.) 'Za has named the dog Grenias (?)
Isa is with Gabs and they're discussing the incident that occured earlier. She says she will have to speak with Andrea and she doesn't know what would have occured if AD hadn't intervened. Daffne Duck is like the guest that stayed for DinDin and Isa and AD are bought by this but Isa not for long.

Heart-to-Heart with Estebonbon and Mao who is the ideal father in this novela along with Illeana's father. I like their relationship. It reminds me of how in Cachito de Cielo, Pablo Lyle's character had an evil biological father and a stand-in superb father. In the end, he saw the stand-in father as his only father.
More FeVer and 'Za. It's almost as if FeVer WANTS this anvil.

Este's words hurt Mao. He knows his "son" is smart. He loves him, he wants to be let in! Este just wants to be alone. Noticing a pattern here? I hope for Este to move on soon. He's too smart to be pining over 'Za like he is.

'Za is home and AD sees her wondering about the dog. She lies that she purchased it and he condones her having a dog as long as she takes care of it! Some buzzing more and he says that she was lying about going to the mall since Daffne has been home with them for a while! Tell me the truth!
Gabs and Isa are gushing over la cuna and discussing Daffne Duck and 'Za.
Andie and gMean walk in on Mao and Este with a request for permission to tell Angel that Mao isn't his real father. gMean calls FeVer a desgraciado and they all discuss it and finally decide to. Este then thanks Andie for finding a good man who gave him and Angel love and compassion.
'Za and Art Dad are still arguing (if the doggie pees or poos as a plot device to keep Ara. from spilling the beans, I swear to Bob!) That isn't the case as she finally confesses that she was with FeVer and AD finally gets a clue as to that 'Za really did cheat on Estebonbon! (And she would have gotten away with it too if her stoic dog has did its business on that oriental carpet!)

Another fabulous masterpiece, Corazon.
The part with Tita and Bruno- at breakfast Tita shared that she and her hubby never went to bed angry- AHEM- Bruno and Ally. Tita also shared that silence brings bitterness and bad intentions, so Bruno aplogizes to Ally.
The Daffne Duck nickname is wonderful. She has grown into a real beyotch. Little liar. I love the four is a crowd dudette. So she has slithered her way into the house for a life that she has bad mouthed but in reality always wanted to live.
Poor Estebonbon- I am not an advocate of domestic violence but I did feel that Estebonbon was truly sorry for what transpired between he and Ara. She is a cualquiera- I agree.
I really hope that nothing happens to baby Miguel, I can't bare the thought. Fevier is just pure evil, ugh.
How long is this game going to go on between Nick, Gaby, Bruno and Ally?
I'm glad that Mau and Andy are going to come clean to Angel, who has almost overheard everything about his sperm donor.
I didn't get a chanve to thank xintperuvian yesterday for a great, refreshing, picturesque recap.

It felt like something screwy was going on with the editing last night. Like the scene with Este and Mau seemed sliced up and we didn't hear it all.
Anyway, I don't think that what Este did (trying to shake the truth out of lying, cheating Ara), was all that bad. Didn't Art shake her in almost the same way when he found her drunk at Andy and Mau's, and even kind of flung her at Este? I'm not saying it was right for Este to lose his temper like that, but I in no way think he would have hit her, and he certainly didn't hurt her enough to prevent her from going out on a date with Feo just a bit later. He feels so guilty about it too.
Dafne makes her first big move. I'm glad that Isa isn't 100% behind this. But with Ara acting out, and her dumping Este, there are great opportunities for Dafne to get what she's always wanted- Ara's life.
Looks like Sonia told Feo about Ara's childhood dog, Grenas. Now he's gifted her a replica, Grenitas. Well played, Feo.

Esteban - minus 2. Can't do that even if you caught her in the act which would eventually happen
Aranza - plus 1. At least you broke up with him before you did the nasty but when this blows up on you leave him alone.
Art - plus 1. You did what a father should but guess you'll go right back to sleep (oh, the father of the guy slept with your wife)
Isabel - plus 1. You know something ain't right with the heavens but was having a hard time figuring out whose side you were on between Esteban and Aranza
Ileana - plus 2. Good girl, you volunteer to help underprivileged kids while Aranza has a tete a tete at the mall with her new crush. Just hope the TN gods don't cut you off at the knees like they did Esteban

Nothing justifies manhandling a woman under any circumstances. Sara, you made a good point though that this tirade was totally out of character for him. I think the writers made a mis-step here.

By the gods, this tale gets creepier all the time.
How on earth could Aranza find Feo attractive?
Esteban needs to find a girl who is worthy of him. Girls like Aranza only take advantage of this kind of goodness.
The dog is only a tool to manipulate Aranza. She doesn't deserve such a sweet creature, either.

I feel that if I were to take the time to write out a list of the nice/positive elements and a list of the dark I would find there is actually more nice, but since the dark that is present is so very, very dark, disturbing and creepy it overpowers everything else.
Favier FeVer is really one of the vilest villains I've encountered (I count Carlota from ENDA as the worst.... and I never even finished watching the Dvd.)

Gringo- Yes. He was asking about Isa's pregnancy, and about the plan to hire a driver for her. Hmmm....
It looks like Isa will have a medical emergency before Feo has time to carry out the chauffeur plan, but he did put that tracker in Ara's phone. I guess there's the possibility that Ara somehow tell Favier where she is going and he can get some goon to hit Isa's car. The Avance made it look like such a random accident that I can't see how Favier will be responsible.

I do not believe Este would hit Ara but his anger was over the top - although she deserved it. And I believe he is truly sorry for it. Are the writers smoking something or is it a plot line that Este will fear he is turning into his bio dad?
I really don't like AD. I think he is miscast with Susanna Gonzales. But what really irked me last night, including the orange pants, was his diatribe at Ara - she is 21 years old! Yes, she shouldn't lie to her parents since she mooches er lives in their house but I don't think it is right to "demand" to know who she met at the mall. She may act like a child but she is not.

LoriLoo- Well, if Ara doesn't appreciate the life she has (dad, stepmom, boyfriend, wealth), I guess I can't begrudge Dafne trying to take it off her hands. She'd probably be nicer to all those people, even if she's faking it.
I really hope that Este listens to Mau and Andy and doesn't let himself believe he is turning into Feo. He made a mistake in losing his cool that way, but it wasn't a horrific or tragic mistake. He needs to make amends, learn from it, stop beating himself up, and move on.

I agree Vivi. Este is one of my favorites in this TN which is why the anger surprised me so. You are right about Dafne too - she may appreciate Ara's life more than Ara and she can be nice at times.
Este and Mari would make a good team and uh, they may not be related??, but you can never tell with TNs! It just seems Mari will be with Dani and Ara and Este will get back together in the end.

Yes, I'm a loser and actually started thinking and making a list. It's not as good as UAs lists, but she takes the time to really think and craft hers. This is a little more off the cuff.

With so many lukewarm and the dark mood of this Tragedy I pinned too much on one guy on a white horse. Esteban, first time it got really hard he freaked and fell off. I hope he can get back on and be more steady in the line of fire.

Karen I agree that Ara is wrong to lie since she mooches off of her parents. I also think she should do her own laundry, cooking and dishes since she probably pays no rent. But that will never happen.
Maybe another reason I don't care for AD is because he still treats her like a child instead of a young adult of 21. At least Isa tries to treat her like an adult even though she doesn't appreciate it.

A couple of times I was really confused especially with Isabel. First she tells Arturo that "Javier" is just Aranza's friend and it's no big deal that he sent her an **enormous** bouquet of flowers. (Doesn't an enormous bouquet generally signal something serious? I mean who shells out that kind of money if it's not serious?) Only after the fight with Esteban and the incident at the mall does she tell Art he needs to get in there and find out about this "Javier" guy. I'm beginning to think that Art and Isa combined don't have two brain cells to rub together. And hells yes! Art has the right to question his daughter. She's living in his house and he's supporting her. That was always the law with my parents. You didn't like it, move out and support yourself.

tofie- you're the queen of one-line zingers today! First the oozing line, then the CT line then the Esteban and falling off the horse line.
xlnt- I totally agree. My child does not live with me and I do not support her financiall (much...) but even now I would be mad if she lied to me. (Unless it involved my birthday and a surprise visit...with cake.) If that makes me a bad parent I guess I'm a bad parent.
I think Este's out of control reaction to Ara's betrayal and unceremoniously dumping him, is due to how much of his hopes and dreams he pinned on her and their relationship. For more than half his life he thought that Ara would one day be his wife and the mother of his kids. I hope this serves as a lesson to him that he needs to build his life and identity apart from the woman he's dating.
Oh that reminds me Vivi- since we were sort of talking on MPV about Fabi and Leo taking it slow... last night Mau said something about Este and Ara getting married and I had to shake my head. I know they've known each other forever, but they'd only been novios for 6 months. I guess it's just me because I wouldn't be talking marriage until at least a year had passed. Hubs and I dated a year, got engaged and then waited another year and a half to get married.

The first time at the club when Ara mentioned taking "the next step" (sex), Este first thought she meant marriage and shocked by it, and she was equally shocked and clarified. In their additional conversations and in Este's conversation with his family, he made it clear that he wAnts to start his career first so that he has something to offer Ara when they get married. So I don't think either of them were rushing into marriage, but he definitely assumed that's where they were headed.
It bugged me that when Ara received that card from Feo with the love quote ripped from the book, she said she had never received such a lovely note. What about that heartfelt love letter Este gave her for their six month anniversary?!
I was like a switch in her that was flipped when she laid eyes on Fernando at Sonia's apartment. As distasteful as it is to even write that, her crush is all consuming.
Aranza is still reasoning and responding like a 11 year old and seems Art still parenting as if she is. I was struck how she seemed a child standing there as he interrogated her holding a puppy.
