Por Siempre Mi Amor #52 and 53- 2/6/14- If Looks Could Kill
Isa is worried that Sucia will fill Ara’s
head with all kinds of misinformation Art is fuming that Ara has lied to him
and has been communicating with Sucia behind his back and he didn't have a
clue. Isa tells Art to calm down because at this point they don't know the
frequency of the visits they have to get proof. She just saw them at the
restaurant; it could have been a coincidence. Isa tells
Este is still trying to get information about Javier form Ileana. Christian tells Este to have some dignity and leave it alone. The relationship doesn't sit well with Este. She is a kid and Javier is an old man. Este has a gut feeling about Javier. That he has done something to his family. Cristian brushes it off and suggests that he get a new job.
Ara and Daphne come home from their first day of work. Ara has a (stupid to me) plan that everyone will think that she is maturing enough to date old Baldy and take their relationship seriously.
Isa shares with Gaby that Javier appeared at her appointment, not a woman. It's strange to Gaby. He seems to be following her. No worries, he has a girlfriend and wants to go out to dinner with Art and me. Did you ask him about the photo? Yes, he suggested that possibly Marsela had something to do with the photo, she has an office in that building. (Boy, that Javier can sure think on his feet- yuck!)

Bruno is on stakeout mode and asks the waiter about a group of motorcyclists that meet there. The waiter discloses- Los Angeles De La Tierra to Bruno, they are usually here in the mornings. Bruno cancels his coffee order since there is no reason for him to wait around. Tita, Ally and Zenaida (riding in the side car) are cruising the streets.
Padre is happy to see Mari. Cuca shares that they were looking for her and she was there in the house, hidden in the guesthouse.
Of course both Ara and Sucia start lying. Sucia says that it's been years since they have seen each other. At that pint Isa interjects- that not true, you saw my daughter and you today at a restaurant. Art goes on- you know how much I hate lying and he sees how Sucia hasn't changed. (Glad that this didn't drag on) he knows that she has been manipulating Ara and Sucia tries to lie her way out but Art doesn't want to hear it and throws her out. Baldy asks Este if he has ever heard about the novel- Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, it's also a movie by Stanley Kubrick. He has a lot in common with the book. It's about a young girl in love with an older man like him. Este wants to know why is Baldy justifying what he is doing? Baldy says that there is something rewarding for me in Ara. Este could care less. Ara is with Baldy because she is tantalized by his money and what he can give her. Not really, her dad is rich. Baldy begs to differ. Baldy tells Esteban that he doesn't really know him but if he has an opportunity to try to get to know him he will find out that he is not the enemy. He calls Sucia and she tells him that Ara wants to live with her. How could she allow that? He won't argue with Sucia over the phone and hangs up on her and calls her stupid.
Isa is still pleading her case for Ara to stay. Art is standing his ground. Isa feels that if Ara lives with Sucia, Sucia's hold will be unbearable; she needs the support of her father. Art thanks Isa for supporting him and loving his daughter. Art caves in and speaks to Ara.
The plan for Gil to meet Mari is that the padre comes by the first thing in the morning and they will introduce Mari to Gil. Padre is worried that Gil will ask questions about Mari and where has she been and padre can't tell a lie. Padre has to preach and follow the commandments and tells Cuca that he can't lie. Gil is outside yelling for Cuca. Cuca goes running. Gil saw the light in the guesthouse and went out to investigate; he thought the worst, that they were being robbed. Cuca was able to catch him and turn him away and make a tuna salad dinner for him.
Art enters Ara's room and Daphne (says phew that was close to herself, but really, its time for me to leave you two alone and) exits. Art tells Ara to think about what she is doing, leaving is not the solution. Ara says that they way that Art solves problems is to not let her speak and the reason why she lied about seeing Sucia is because they. We're afraid and didn't know how Art would react. (What a crock!!) Art doesn't fall for it. Ara turns it around and says that Art was wrong and asks why didn't Art say something if she saw her with Sucia instead of yelling at her.
Dan and Mari look up at the sky and are soooo happy that they will be together forever. Kiss, kiss. Cuca walks up on the couple locking lips and her eyes are as big as saucers.
Art doesn't fall for Ara's reasoning and Ara lies and says that Sucia called her because she was coming to the house and that they would be a family again. Art wants proof that Ara wasn’t seeing Sucia on the sneak and Ara gets defensive. She leaving and that's it. She gives him her credit card; finally she is going to live. (How, with no money?) Art wishes her luck.
Baldy visits Methuselah and thanks him for the late appointment (What dastardly deed does Meth have to do early anyway?) and asks that someone give Este a job earning good money. Este studied business administration. Feo/Javier, whoever will pay the salary.
Isa asks Ara to think about what she is doing, she is breaking her dad's heart. Ara doesn’t think that Art is thinking of her. Ara lies to Isa as to why she saw Sucia.
Lucha shares with Dante that Ara is moving out. Ara is so stubborn. Dante will see his mom tomorrow. (Why is he still working?)
Ara sticks to her story that Art wouldn't let her talk. Isa suggests that they confront Art together. Ara doesn't want to approach Art and based on what has happened Ara thanks Isa for the job. (So no money, no job, how are you living, Ara?) Isa tells Ara that she can always count on her and gives her a blessing.
Sucia is waiting outside for her, Gabino puts the suitcase in the car and they are gone. Sucia doesn’t look too happy.
Daphne speaks to Art regarding her status. She doesn’t have anywhere to go because her parents don't want her. Art tells her that she can stay. I don’t’ like Daphne’s body language around Art.
Gonzo and Dante are in the garage and Gonzo is salivating over Sucia. Since Sucia is there Feo will appear. Dante also clarifies that Ara is Sucia’s niece. They will wait for Feo. Sucia tells Ara that she can't stay there permanently only for a few days, because Ole Sugar Daddy is not having it, and also she can’t take care of her and Ara tells Sucia that she gave her dad back his credit cards. Bummer.
Baldy pays off the doorman while Dante and Gonzo look on. Gonzo recognizes the voice but not the face and then thought bubbles about being in Meth's office and talking the dead being resurrected- specifically- Feo not being dead. He remembers Meth explaining that Fern didn't die, someone else did and Feo is as free as a bird. Gonzo calls him by his name - Fernando Cordova (and I immediately see the death toll rising). Feo is not too happy at the reunion.
Feo tries to deny it but Gonzo insists that it's him he recognizes his voice.

hangs up because Osvy is at the office. He is worried about Isa and wants to
know why did she try to commit suicide.
A package comes for Ara. Lucha signs for it.
How did Osvy know? Marsela ran into Osvy at the park during his morning

kids, that’s not why Cuca is so upset. They were just kissing, they are a

she is a good girl. And you have instilled good values in her. She will think
hard and return. (No, Isa she will be broke and return) Ara has no money
but Sucia will take care of her, no not Sucia her boyfriend. He is over
40. Que, que, what!!!! Art is like a ticking time bomb.

Feo remembers that Gonzo deceived him and he will pay. Everyone who betrays him

Art asks Daphne for details about
Javier. She tells him that is over 40 and doesn’t know his last name.
They met at the masquerade party that she went to with Ileana.
Ally
is serving herself tequila and Tita comes in. Bruno has an idea; lets
have a dinner this weekend for your friends at the club. Ally looks at
Tita. Caigamos en oracion. Tita starts stuttering, she is not sure if
they are available. They are busy. This weekend is too close,
perhaps next weekend. Tequila, please!
Cuca doesn’t want to hear it. She
is ready to tell them that they are related but stops. Mari will sleep
with Cuca.
Art wants to speak to Javier NOW.
Daphne lies and says that Ileana introduced them. Art wants to speak to
Ileana’s parents. Talk to Ileana her parents don’t know anything.
(One liar gone and another liar to go.)
Feo tells Sucia that Gonzo recognized
him. He knows that he is going to have to pay him money to keep his
silence, She tells him to kill Gonzo. Its necessary, but not that easy.
If Gonzo talks, that’s it. Feo must keep his enemies close and make them
believe that they are your friends.
Lucha
and Isa talk about how Sucia has been around and she is probably the one who
left the snake gift at the shower.
Mari
doesn’t understand what is the problem with kissing Dan. Cuca considers
it “fraternizing” with the patron. Mari is scared that Don Gil won’t like
her.
Lucha
and Isa converse about Sonia and her evil ways and Gabino interrupts.
Sucia wasn’t too happy o receive Ara, so Ara will be back sooner than later.
Nothing would make Isa happier. Lucha tells Isa about Sucia and how she
tried to worm her way into the house.
Ara
doesn’t know what to do, she will call Javier.
Javier
and Sucia are arguing because things aren’t going as planned. Javier’s
cell rings. He doesn’t have time to speak to crybabies.
Cuca thought bubbles back to when she
told Padre that Mari is Sucia’s daughter, because the same night that someone
left Mari, Sucia came home minus a baby bump and then she is Dan’s niece.
Cuca feels in her heart that its Sucia’s baby but she have it all wrong.
Ara
dreams about the key chain that she got form Javier, She loves him, why doesn’t
he call. Esteban wants her to be happy.
Javier
tells Sucia about the corny key chain that he brought for Ara. Its
inscribed-with I love you.
Javier
thinks that Este is praying to get Ara back but Sucia says don’t misjudge him;
he’s your son.
Osvy
is having a bad day at the golf court and he is in a foul mood. Elais
wants to know what’s up? Osvy shares that Tita is two-timing him with a
motorcyclist.
Tita
asks Zenaida if she has heard from or seen Osvy, no. That’s strange. It’s
been days since she has heard from him. Tita is going to Osvy’s house
before she goes to see the kids.
Daphne wants to talk to Isa at work
about Ara. Daphne tells that Ara never lost contact with Sucia and Sucia
put ideas into her including that Isa is bad and about dating an older man.
Isa tells Daphne that she must tell Art. If she wants the best for Ara she
needs to tell Art.
Elias
asks Osvy if he is jealous. What is he going to do? He wants to be
sur. No one makes fun of Osvy.
Art
tells Bruno the latest on what happened with Ara.
Ara
has breakfast with Sucia. It’s not like Lucha’s breakfast. Ara is
going job hunting. Sucia tells her that she appreciates her support but
it was a bad idea that she left. She will figure out a way that Art will
ask Ara to come back.
Bruno
tries to rationalize what happened with Ara. Art does not to alienate his
daughter the way that he and his dad alienated each other.
Sucia
tells Ara that she has expensive standard of living and tastes and needs to go
back home, Ara doesn’t want to go back home. She never imagined that
Sucia would turn her back to her and she will leave soon.
Cuca
tells the padre that she saw Mari and Dan kissing. Mari cant live there.
Tita
goes to Osvy’s house but Balt says that he is not free. Osvy is cold
towards Tita and breaks up with her. He knows that she is leading a
double life. Hanging out with thugs. He has seen it with his own eyes.
Caigamos en oracion. Tita will break up with him since he is so
judgmental. Balt whispers that maybe Tita needs another chance.
Cuca
wants Mari out of the house, like yesterday. Mari wants to know why?
Art is
looking for Bruno
Padre
has a plan b in case Don Gil doesn’t hire her. Mari thinks that it has
something to do with Dan. Mari shares that she is in love with Dan.
Padre and Cuca look very uncomfortable.
Tita
is riding to the kids, but she is preoccupied about Osvy’s reaction. What
is wrong with him? Why is he accusing her? He hasn’t changed.
Ara is
waiting for Javier at a café and he stands he up. He can’t leave work.
Cris and Ileana stop by and chat with her. Ara shares that she moved out
of her house.
Meth
is staking out Este’s building and follows him in his car.
Ole
Sugar Daddy asks Javier how is he doing with the contract for Isa’s company.
Javier is wearing a loud watermelon colored jacket. Que the heck?
OSD suggests that Javier contact Isa’s husband too. Javier is salivating at the
thought.
Ara
hopes that Javier can help her. Ileana tells her not to count on that.
Daphne
shares with Teresa that Ara left the house. Tere has a very strange,
content look on her face.
Meth
scopes out Este at the mall.
Bruno is driving and hits a
motorcyclist and hits Tita. He can’t believe it. He calls an ambulance.
Javier
marvels that OSD wants Art to be his client too. He will access to all of
his information.
Isa brings Daphne to Art to tell the
story about Sucia and Ara’s contact and Javier. Daphne is afraid that Ara will
find out that she snitched but Art won’t say anything.
Ara
thanks Cris and Ileana for listening. She can’t understand why Javier
stood her up.
Este
is job hunting but so far he lacks the experience to be hired for two jobs.
Feo calls Sucia to tell her that Art
set up a trust fund for Ara. He is reviewing Art’s investments. That’s an
eerie thought! Eugenia opened up the account and Sucia will investigate.
Ally,
Zenaida and the bikers head to the hospital.
The
Padre meets with Cuca; she thinks that the time has come to tell Don Gil that
Mari is Sucia’s child. Padre disagrees. They need to investigate.
He can’t believe that this was going on
all of this time.
Meth meets Gonzo set up a scam and
loudly start talking about hiring college students for jobs and Este overhears.
Este takes the bait. He says that he is a good candidate for the grants
that they were talking about and wants to work. It will depend on his
qualifications and there is an interview process and some exams. Este is
very happy.
Andrea
and Mau discuss that Este is looking for a job.
Art wants to talk to Ara or Sucia but
Isa reminds him that Ara is an adult. Bruno calls Ally to tell her about the
accident with Tita.
Mari and Dan visit the kids. The
kids complain about the condition of their ball, and Dan takes them to get a
new one.
Dante calls Borlas calls Dante but he
can’t talk, he is busy working (conning someone).
Daphne is going to call Ara and tell
her about Tita. Ara wants for Javier at his job since she couldn’t reach him.
She needs his help, she moved out of her house.

I keep thinking things can't get worse and then, the goings on sink to an even lower level. Este is now working for Feo? Talk about your horrific nightmares.

TJ- Thank you for going above and beyond to give us a great recap of the two episodes.
Feo and Sonia have had a few setbacks recently-- not being able to fool Art and Isa about Sonia's repentance; not being able to frame Isa for going after Ara's man; Ara moving into Sonia's place. But I am really worried about Feo pulling unsuspecting Este into his shady business. This will not be good.
Ara will also soon find out that life isn't so rosy, and her tia isn't some awesome, when she has no home or money. However, it seems like Feo is about to step up his seduction game now that he realizes that Ara has a huge trust fund. I wonder if she gets it when she turns 25, graduates from college, gets married, or something like that. If it's marriage, Feo is going to be popping the question soon (and then he'll kill her).
OK. I haven't gone off on Padre and Cuca in a while, but...WTF?! Now they have the worst possible outcome of their silence in front of them-- an incestuous relationship between Dan and Mari. And they STILL choose to do and say NOTHING to Gil! Now's the time to speak up, sneak some Dan DNA, sneak some Mari DNA, and get Gil to pay for the DNA test, ASAP.

ABrat her whole life has never even had to clean her room or make a sandwich and I bet a trip to the hair salon cost over $300 bucks. I have no sympathy for her at all and have no problem with Ferloverdo ripping her a new one.

Tofie- Because Gonzo was told by Efrain that Fer is alive and faked his death. I'm sure once Isa and others have that info too, they'll put it together pretty quickly.
Well, Dan HAS been in strict all male military boarding schools his whole life (and no mama or sister around to guide him). Then he meets a hot, nice girl like Mari. I can see why he's willing to fight for his love. Learning that Mari is likely his niece may be the only thing that slows his roll.

Gringo- No. Uni is combining two hour episodes to make one hour. The recappers are going online and watching the Mexican episodes (2 hours worth) in order to tell us what Uni cut.
Couple things might slow Fernando down other than Aranza running away which he will need to convince her to return. Gonzo's threat or Sonia becoming tired of his rebuffs or jealous of Isabel and/or Aranza.
What I worry about for Esteban is being embroiled in a scheme and liking it and the money. Up until he lost it over the break up it never occurred to me he rode anything but a white horse. Somebody tell me I'm crazy.

Tofie- I don't think that Este would willingly get involved in something he knows is illegal, like Borlas. I think they will pull the wool over his eyes and con him into doing something illegal, and he will be blinded because he will be making money and trying to impress Ara.
I don't think he will do it willingly either but money is seductive though ill got. What I ponder is once the blinders come off does he run from it or be convinced he is his fathers son and embrace it. Can the writers be that perverse? The girl of his dreams dumps him within seconds when a badboy comes around. What incentive does he have to walk the boring straight and narrow when the nasty but exciting are continually rewarded?
The editing on this series is making me nuts.

Urban- Well, Ara isn't being evil to Isa anymore and that is progress. That doesn't mean she's stopped being a selfish brat, but it's a step towards redemption.
You know, it's sort of refreshing to see how Ara's friends and family are reacting to this 21 year old dating a man who is well into his 40s. In real life, people would react like this. My dad's head would have exploded like Art's, and they would demand to meet this guy and figure out if he was legit, or just looking for a young piece of tail. In all the other tns we are watching, no one really seems concerned that these 18-20 year old girl-women are marrying men in the late-30s and 40s. The age difference can certainly work, but people would still ask a lot of questions and be concerned.
I know. However, in the case of LQLVMR we're dealing with a story that originally took place in 1900 where such things were probably more commonplace. Not to mention that there looked to be a much bigger age difference between Graciela and Lauro than between Monserrat and Alejandro.

It's not like ABrat is some well put together professional woman that happened to be in her early 20's but a girl, though 21, that has the maturity level of a 16 year old. For a 40ish man to be dating her it would be for one reason only and everyone would laugh at her stupidity. Esteban has it right, the older guy just wants to play with her.

My parents just calmly watched me do it and walk out but I started crying one or two houses down when they didn't try to stop me. I walked real slow and thankfully my father pulled up got me in the car drove the few blocks home and never said a word. I never tried that stunt again.
