TELEMUNDO Y MÁS: La Impostora, week of April 21, 2014

Here is the Easter Monday post for Los Impostores and Impostoras. Enjoy!!

Must say, although I am no fan of Christiane Bach, last night was the first time she actually appeared to be "acting", interpreting her role, and she did a great job! She made us understand motivation for her evil deeds. THe speech to Chris ("you'll never win my love, just as I never won my father's") was chilling. However, regardless, I simply cannot pverlook her cheezy wig, it is so distracting.

Leon expires with a sign one word before giving the name of Val's hijo. Recall that Memo did the same thing to Adriano.

Aha, Raq has let Blanca know that she is on to the impostora thing, but insists that Blanca carry on with the wedding and not tell Eduardo. Hmmm...

Poor Adriano, gets himself thrown into solitary with Soto, and for a million bucks, Soto blabs that it is Ivan that ordered the hit on Adriano. Ivan betrays an old friendship for a roll in the hay with Raq. The chemistry between Ivan and Raq simply isn't there for me. In fact I notice when they kiss, they appear very stilted and never show their lips actually touching.
J in Oregon

Of course I meant "can't OVERLOOK Raq's cheezy wig" and "Leon expires with a SIGH", not a sign.
Sheesh. Must get coffee.

J in O

I thought Raquel and Ivan were going to trip and fall with those little stutter steps as they disrobed. Also agree with you JnO about Christiane Bach, what an unpleasant thing for Chris to digest.

Adriano - a million bucks for a name and a flashlight? Please come to my yard sale

Jorge - well a wing and a prayer didn't work for grandpa, maybe god ain't listening to ya

Leo - what's with you old dudes

Ivan - no way, not with a ten foot pole

Raquel - boo frigging hoo

Salvador - you have my permission to smack him next time

Ed - jealous little punk

Blanca - oh wow, Ed's mom is so sweet

Chris - for me it's a toss up for who annoys me the least but that was a little harsh

Tita - well, truth be told

Que, que, what? How often does that happen, two identical expirations with a name on the tip of the tongue in the same novela.

Well, it looks like we WILL have to wait until ultimos capitulos to find out the real heir since Raq swears she'll take the name to her grave. At least there are plenty of folks who know that Rafa is not the bio-son of Adriano to unmask that little twerp. It's back to the drawing board for everyone else looking for clues.

Blancoria caved pretty fast didn't she? I would have loved to see her up against Raq for at least five more minutes.

JinO--I join you in disbelief and with Tofie laughing at the Million bucks for a name and a flashlight.

Who puts a prisoner in a punishment cell with another prisoner? I thought punishment was to separate them from others, thus, solitary confinement. Sorry, guess I'm over-thinking this scene; no, maybe I'm just plain thinking about the anomalies in this scene. A flashlight? For real? It would have been more fun for us to have them in adjoining cages trying to get the better of each other through the bars. I have a feeling flashlight guy would have come out ahead.]

So, Adriano will transfer the $1M--as soon as he can access his funds. He'd better be careful that flashlight guy doesn't think he's reneging on his promise if it takes too long. I hadn't thought about how Addie is able to manage his business empire from prison.

How big is his empire, anyway? Raquel has a huge office full of staff and employees out on the docks. Adriano seems to be a one-man show. He only knows Domingo and Ivan for help.

So the three boys take Raquel's word that grandpops doesn't want to see them. Once she left, they should have at least poked their heads in to see him.

Oh, and Val's headscarf left on Leo's bed is going to be VERY significant, or the cameras wouldn't have focused on it, lingering over its pinky printed material (or else they wanted to extend the scene 15 more seconds to come out even).

On Memo's being a valued employee. This is the second time I've complained when I heard
Raquel profess it to Victoria, thus having no reason for her to eliminate him. I argued that they both forgot that Raquel fired him in the first episode and Blanca had to dress up and go begging to get his job back and when Raq refused, she went to Leo.

I now apologize to the writers after the first conversation. The first time Raquel didn't know she was talking to Victoria and she had to keep that information under wraps, or how would Victoria have known something only Blanca would know.

This time, though, the blinders are off and Blanca should have called her on it. But she's still playing meek-little-mouse to Raquel's cat-on-the-prowl.

I'm sick and tired of having to see Raquel's post-coitus poses in rainbow-hued bras and off the shoulder tops.

I meant....The first time Raquel didn't know she was talking to Blanca and ....

I think Raq is setting up Blanca as soon as the wedding she'll denounce her as a fraud and that necklace her henchman showed her the other day will be stolen and end up in Blanca stuff. Blanca qill be off to jail.

Poor Adriano absolutely everyone has betrayed him except Domingo who is going to be forced to do so. C

Rafa is a lost cause. He has to end up dead or in jail since he set up Ramon and the padre. Serves Tita right oh and what id Raq use to get her to go along with the big lie?

The story line may be crazy bu something happens every night which is more than can be said for most of them.

Poor Chris he should have figured it out years ago but he is his mother's son.

Still on Team Ed who has drifted through this pain free. I'm thinking that since Raq alone knows the secret, unless Melania does the true heir will have to be hurt and need the good old blood transfusion which will reveal he has Adriano's blood type and not the same as his brothers.

Cant help wondering if Christian Bach has a bra line sine in both this and LP she has shown off a variety of pretty colored ones.

Christian Bach did the same thing in La Patrona, went to bed with a muscled studly young guy (actually two muscled, studly guys) and then was shown postcoital with a fancy, colorful bra. In this novela she's had Rafael (great body even if his face turns me off) and now Ivan, who is amazingly buff for a Spaniard. European men don't usually become gym rats.

It must be written into La Bach's contract that she gets some pretend (we think) sack time with at least two younger men.

Decie Girl: To you query, "Serves Tita right oh and what did Raq use to get her to go along with the big lie?"

I don't think it was anything Raq said to convince Tita. It was Rafa who told his mom not to ruin his chances at a better life. That it was only a little white lie and then he'd be gone from her life for good. Too bad he keeps showing up again like a bad penny.

Didn't Leo say to Valentina that her son was a wonderful man. That, to me, points to Ed. I don't like him much at this stage, but he's portrayed as the best of the Altamira spawn.

I just hope that Socorro doesn't introduce Rafa as Val's son. Almost everyone knows he isn't and he would probably break his neck rushing to tell Raq.

I did laugh when Snoopy told Tita she was no better then she was with her continuing the lie about Rafa.

Since Raq seems determined to get Blanca married to Ed I wonder who will have to side track Jorge who remains about the only person in the cast who doesn't know she is a fake.

I'm waiting to see Val really go after Raq. Anyone who could deal with what she has is going to be strong and i totally loved the e-mail she sent from Valentina Ferrer.

Rafa had been roughed up a bit when he went to Tita and also used his safety as leverage to get her to lie.

I'm more than ready for Val to kick some butt and take names. I'm ok with some collateral damage should it include Blanca. So over that story.

Doesn't say much when Ed is the best of the bunch and next time he gets on his high horse around Salvador I wish he'd punch the punk. Ed sure likes throwing that Altamira weight around.

Ed is pretty bland, that's about the best I can say for him.

As for Mama Raq and the sex-in-bed-while-dressed-in-a-pretty-bra thing: I always assumed that was to suggest hot passion while avoiding the exposure of aging flesh.

The bras are very pretty, but why don't we see Ivan in an undershirt, just to keep things even?

J in O

J n O...that is cute, Ivan in an undershirt. I am kind of going with Ramon as the unknown son. He and Adriano have had a chance to get to know each other and have become allies. I sure hope it isn't Ed. He is to quick to jump to conclusions. Since Raq will never love Chris could it be because he is not hers?

At first Rafa told Tita that if she did not tell that lie he could be killed. I believe Tita has regretted telling the lie and no longer believes him. He may have feared for his life at one time but he seems to have gone with it and wants money from both sides, and is enjoying the mileage he is getting from the lie. He steps on others to do it. Off to the carcel for you...Rafa!

My wonderment is...One night we see Mariana throwing Rafa out of her house, the next time they are buddies again. Rafa seems to have a way of getting away with everything.

Now Ed knows that Adrianna might not be a total killer. Will he do anything about it? He goes to Adriano and wants to know why is grandfather tried to save him but doesn't except Adrianos answer. I wish I could knock him on the head. I doubt any sense would go there but it would be worth a try.

And now Blanca feel like a liar? Really Blanca?

Okay, new definition of "cruel and unusual punishment": having to sit through a prison visiting hour with Blanca pecking away at you like a demented woodpecker.

Also: Karina, you two faced hussy. When Jorge gets engaged to Simona, Karina forces herself back on Ramon. Then she throws Ramon under the bus by snooping in his financial papers and denouncing him to all the neighbors. Now that Ramon is in jail, she's bounced back to Jorge. What a floozy.

I'm trying to pretend that Catalina is the heroine of this show--she's spunky, gorgeous, gutsy and loyal--everything that Blanca isn't.
J in O

JinO--You don't have to pretend...Catalina IS the heroine in this story. She's everything you say AND courageously rethinking her relationship with her dad.

The low point in last night's epi was Blanca telling Karina that Raquel doesn't mind that she's poor!!!!!!!

Cat is the only one of the kids of the rich and powerful that accepted her parent is not on the up and up agree. It helped in her acceptance the guy she loves was imprisoned by him. However much I think she and Ramon share similar values and care for each other deeply, I just don't see the La Impostora writers and producers letting them ever be together. If they were going to do that they would have cast some brainless beefcake in the role. The Altimara boys can indulge in every gold-digging trollop (at least according to the La Impostora producers poor girls) from the barrio but for a poor boy (like Adriano & Ramon) to stroll around with a well connected girl. Nope.

Blanca just makes me want to vomit, anything, anything she will do or say or support so she can stay in the big house, what a gulf between she and Cat but in the end it will be Blanca riding into the sunset with Ed for a happily ever after.

Blanca - no class, double dealer, disappears for days, liar, disloyal, fraud, gold-digging but a victim

Adriano - if you give Rafa power of attorney you belong in jail

Salvador - did the writers know you knew about testing the scenes & headscarf for DNA

Cat - why don't you have the big head, all the other girls do with a lot less to offer

Chris - you married way above you

Clemente - I hope she tells Diego too

Raquel - leading that lamb to slaughter is way too easy

Val - looking stronger every day bet you're not some shrinking violet

Obviously I'm not the only one who wants to bitch slap Blanca into the next century. Snotty to Adriano without whom she would never be swanning around in the Altamira household, snotty to Socorro and Val for no reason and too busy kissing Raq's ass to use the brains she had in the beginning. Won't feel sorry when she gets her head handed to her by Ed and Mommy Dearest.

The Altamira boys need to sit down and compare notes. Ed is clueless about cousin Rafa and everything else although he may be getting it that Mom isn't a saint. Chris has the most information and suspicion and of course Jorge is too busy getting slopping seconds from the Porto Ho to know much of anything.

I'm wondering what Rafa will do now that he knows that Raq has some plan for Blanca. No matter what he does he will never get back in Raq's good graces and he has to end up in prison for the things he has done.

Ed has to be the son because for the entire story he has just drifted along with no great shocks although the Victoria one will be a good one, He continues to blame Adriano for everything that is going wrong so imagine finding out the man is innocent and the guilty party if Raq. Nice shock and maybe it will wake him up.

Not buying Cat as a heroine. She is being disloyal to Chris to whom she never should have married in the first place. She like Chris is being hit with some almighty shocks but I'm thinking she won't do much about it.

No way Sebastian is in this with his mama and not be the long lost child of Adriano and Val or we find out Raquel had a son fathered by Adriano too. There will be little or no stink associated with the prince.

Cat married under great pressure from dad, Raquel AND Cristobal.

I admire her strength in realizing the marriage mistake early, making peace with Cris, both recognizing there was long-time friendship, but no "amor" kind of love in their relationship.

I admire her resolve in trying to right things with Ramon, to whom she initially felt an attraction and has now grown into genuine love.

I also admire her real conflict over what to do about Daddy. Yes, I do wish Diego were there with her. She sorely needs someone who isn't in prison to talk to.

Anyone notice that Blanca got to have a face-to-face with Adriano, but Ramon only got a through the bullet-proof glass and phone with Jorge? It can't be the difference in penalty or age because Ramon got to see Cat across the table, too. I'd sure like to see that Reclusorio's visitor policy.

Tofie--I love your speculation. I concur, that one of those boys could likely be Adriano's and Raquel's, even though that has never been hinted at as being a big family secret.

There was at least one congress between Raquel and Adriano and typical of tns, the woman always gets pregnant the first time. They were both pretty young, but in the flashback it was clear Raq was older and more experienced.

How much does Melania know and when did she know it?

Even though we don't know the age spread among the boys, my views on which child is Val's are:
1. If it is Eduardo, easy to explain if Raquel was already married and still childless.
2. If it is Cristobal, Eduardo would have been a toddler or maybe a 4 or 5 year old and they don't notice things like pregnant bellies unless it is pointed out and they are brought into the process. Showing up with a new baby boy might have passed muster with a very young Eduardo.
3. If it is Jorge, Eduardo, maybe age 7, it would only work if he had been sent away to boarding school and Cris would have been about 3-4.

I would like to know when Raquel's husband died and if she disliked him as much as she says she did, why did she bother having three boys with him (in case Val's son is Ramon--and I'm with April, liking that more and more).

The reason I think Ed is the son is because they have said over and over how obsessed Raquel was with Adriano back in the day. It would be just like her to want to have and raise his son while simultaneously stealing that son from the sister she was so jealous of.

I want it to be Ramon and he and Cat ride off into the sunset, I just don't think that will happen. If Sebastian was playing Ramon they would do it. Nothing against Edgar Iván Delgado. I also don't get giving the lead to Lisette when you have a minor character (to this point) Cat and Julieta Grajales flat blows her away. Or even the Mariana character for me much more fun to watch. At first I didn't like Begoña Narváez but have changed my mind. I didn't miss Blanca when she was in a coma and don't think the TN would suffer if she fell off those heels into a well.

Novelera

Your reasoning is much the same as mine. It has been pointed out over and over that Raq is obsessed with Adriano and what better way to stick it to her sister and yet at the same time pretend Ed was hers and Adriano's.'s

All of the Altamira boys have had some nasty shocks except prince Ed and he as a galan is due one. I also liked the scenes with Sofia and Ed and Adriano which I think is a set up for the reveal. I'm pretty sure they won't wait until the last week since there would be a lot of baggage to get through. We are more than halfway through and I've never seen a novela where the two romantic leads (even if we don't think there is much heat) have been together with no angst so that has got to be on the horizon and the usual split up.

Well, maybe one of Raq's sons is hers with Adriano, and one is Val's with Adriano. Any thoughts on the parentage of the third son?

ITA that Cat won't end up with Ramon. Instead I predict Chris will find redemption. And maybe Ramon will die saving Cat, that seems to be popular with writers.

Clearly Rafa seems fated for a bad ending too, poor clueless goofy greedy guy.

J in O

We are only half way through this novel? Oh no! I don't know if I can take the ups and downs of this TN much longer. I felt so bad when Adriano signed away his money to that greedy, no good liar and thief. I thought unqualified lawyer was fired but there she was with the papers. Hope she forgets to file them, or filled them out wrong, or something. Adriano can be so blind when he thinks his family is involved. Next thing he finds his love waiting for him. This is such a roller coaster for me.

I am tired of the Blanca is going to tell who she is, no Blanca is not going to tell, and, Blanca is only going to tell the evil ones. Like enough already. Blanca, grow up. You are an adult. Do what is right. Tell ED the one you love and are going to marry.

Mariana is supposed to go after Adriano now. Shooting the dignitary was to be her last murder. Guess killing people is back on her job description again.

How many chapters do we have left? Unlike others I like this story but the Adriano loss of money finding love in one night was too emotional. I need maybe two or three true loves to finally find each other and ride off into the Sunset. Fin.

PS I accidentally pressed translate this instead of the actual link and thought I was in the twilight zone before I realized what I had done. It keeps it in English but changes the grammar. Really weird sensation when you think you have pressed the link.

Rafa - won the faux DNA lottery

Adriano - pissed it all away

Blanca - marry him, marry not, marry him, marry not, marry him, marry not. Wait let me start over marry him, marry not, marry him,....

Salvador - good cop

Val - you and Cat should talk sometime, Blanca's worthless

Cat - my decision is final

Chris - can't appreciate something till it's gone

Ed - just show Jorge a picture of your wife to be

Socorro - you hit a nerve, "15" - "Love"

Ivan - now you caught the double, triple dealing disease

Mariana - seriously, you should grab Sofia and head to Madrid

I'm guessing that last night was Epi 71 of a 120 epi novela which would end at the end of June. It's a wild ride and I have to admit to enjoying it since something is always happening.

I too didn't get why the fired attorney was back but in the long run Adriano will get control of his fortune from no good Rafa since Rafa, gasp, is yet another impostor.

Didn't get the big deal with the Altamira boys and the psychiatrist. Are they trying to prove their missing aunt really was nuts?

Raq really has some big ones to sent her henchman in to Socorro's' house. The woman should have called the cops.

In the end Mariana, and Raq have to die or go to prison for life as both of them are cold blooded killers. Rafa has to go to jail for his part in two murders and as for the gun running scum Ivan death or prison for him too.

DG, Salvador asked Ed if he could get a release signed from Raquel, since Leo was dead. The police want to have their own evaluation done and not take Raquel's word for Val being schizophrenic. Only in TN land do you have the person responsible for a diagnosis be the only one that can sign a release for a real/impartial evaluation. Salvador knew is he asked Raquel would turn them down and needs help. Ed then went to Jorge and Chris believing if all of them insisted she'd roll over. Oh she may but whatever doctor they use will falsify the report.

tofie

If Val stays away from the family no doc could exam her and it would all be left to sweet Raq to spin more lies with her ally Melania.

Poor Ed all he wants to do is prove his grandfather didn't do anything wrong and he is in for a real surprise like the ones Chris keeps getting. Dumbass Blanca should be getting a few s well

One of the reasons Ed wants to get that signed release for an independent psychiatric exam for Val is that IF Val is not completely loony, she can clear granddad's name. At this point he cares more about his granddad's good name than the fact it might implicate Raquel.

Blanda, Blanda, Blanda. You change your lipstick a lot in several successive scenes while your ashes-to-ashes nail polish never needs a touch-up.

Personally, I thought Victoria looked hideous in that wedding dress. Thank goodness we won't have to see her walk up the aisle in it.

I'm with you, Tofie, Mariana needs to grab Sofia and head for Madrid. Ed will get over it, especially when he finds out he's Adriano's son (regardless of who his mother is....).

Mariana is a psycho and while heading for Madrid now to force a wedding and denouncement is just another scheme she is a bad mother and shouldn't be anywhere near that poor child who is going to need a lot of help when all the lies come out. Any woman who could calmly chat on the phone while blowing someone away is too sick to have a child no matter how much she claims to love her.

That wedding dress is hideous. Once again the costume department is in sabotage mode. She looked like she was wearing a tent or is at least a size 20.

It is hilarious that Ed is busy trying to set up an exam for Val when no one knows where she is. He is trying to clear gramps name but is going to be in for a shock when he finds out how complicit the old man was in what happened to Val. Big time disillusionment a coming

decie G--Surely you guess that I'm being 100% facetious about Mariana taking Sofie to Madrid being a good thing. No, I don't think she will or can since first she has to serve Ivan Adriano's head on a platter.

OTHO, Blanca switches allegiance and character so often, is so easily distracted by adult things going on and "disappearing" all the time, I don't see how she is going to be a real parent to Sofie.

I agree, what are those boys thinking? Clearing Gramps' name means the blame falls on Raq by default.
Duh!
Also, that wedding dress is the best thing that the best designer in Acapulco could come up with? A halter-neckline number that is shaped like a tent? I need a scorecard to remember whether Blanca's nuptials are on or off.

J in O

JinO-- My last comment on the wedding dress (unless we do have to see it again) - remember when Blanca, unsure of herself asked the designer/shop owner and Raq if she really looked good in it, they both assured her she did? They were lying, I could tell.

Can't wait to see the Addie-Val reunion tonight.

Anita

I'm waiting for that reunion as well. Just what we saw the other night brought tears to my eyes. Forget about Ed and Blanda the real love story is Adriano and Val's, nothing else comes closer. Now if only there is some chemistry between them something that is lacking across the board in this one which is unusual.

Yes, I had tears prickling at my eyeballs when Adriano opened the door and saw his Valentina...What a lovely actress and I hope she does not turn out to be a disappointment, as Blanda (aka "Blah") has.

Poor Val also has yet to learn that her supposed hijo is a greedy jer,

J in O

Oops I meant Val's hijo is a greedy JERK!
J in O

Loved the Adriano Val scene. Too bad Sal didn't let them finish talking.

OK first question how does Val know that Rafa isn't her son?

What is the point of Mariana dressing up as Blanda unless it is part of the set up that is going to get her arrested? Obviously Raq with the necklace and the safe-deposit box her name is part of it as well. I just hope Sal or someone spots faux Vic and throws a spanner in that part of the plan.

Chris of all the boys is beginning to have big doubts about Raq. I just wish he would speak up.

Finally, Adriano and Valentina were able to see each other. It was just too short of a scene, in my opinion.

My question is where is Valentina getting her money to drive in Taxis? When she was in the dress shop she told the shop owner she had money.??? Did I miss something? Kind of confused. I don't think there are secret pockets in PJs. Where was Valentina when she saw the picture of her grandpa? Soccoros? Then why take a taxi there.

So Ramon has been cleared. Relief. I have a feeling it is not a good thing, however.

I think that Mariana has dressed as Blanca so the blame for killing Adriano can be placed on Blanca. Sort of a "kill" two birds with one stone kind of thing.

And oh yes...the Raquel and her bra again....enough said.

Chris is finding himself. Hope he does it soon so he can oust Mom.

Again with the roller coaster. Adriano finds his love, his love tells him Raf is not her son. This TN certainly plays with my emotions. At least, Adriano knows.

Rafa you are in big trouble with three very strong people. No news there. You always seem to get away with it. What will you do now?

I simply can't believe that Adriano will be killed by little miss psycho. Yes, Blanca is being set up but Sal is aware that there could be another murder try. Perhaps the hapless Ramon will step in and take a bullet. Ramon really is out of place in the sequence of things now and that damn bitch Mariana is due to be caught. And it is time that the tide begin t turn against Raq and her fancy bras.

Forgot to add this. I can hardly wait for Blanda to discover the truth about Adriano and Raq. I want to see her grovel to him begging for forgiveness - this to a man who loves her like a daughter. She is so stubborn it is going to have to take being denounced by Raq, dumped by Ed, sent to prison to get it though he thick skull how evil Raq is and I won't fell one iota of pity for her.

More idiot moves by Adriano. Somebody shoot that Rafa clown. His lament over getting a small share of Adriano's money he stole just pissed me off.

Raquel - delusions of grandeur is a symptom of schizophrenia

Ivan - snake charmer

Salvador - if that sweet eye you have for Blanca offends thee pluck it out

Blanca - running out of excuses

Cat - freed doesn't mean he approves

Ramon - watch your back

Mariana - nooooooooooooo, not another one

Val - I can already tell as a couple you're the smart one

The Confederacy of Dunces - good thing mama has ample bosom you all haven't been weaned from her teat

Oh yah DecieGirl, almost forgot about Raq'a sparkly lavender bra and crisply ironed white cotton shirt...after a rumply night in the sack?

Didn't even dawn on me to wonder where Val is getting her money. Maybe from her old pal Socorro?

Count me in, I really want to see Blanca grovel her 8$$ off when she finds out she was wrong about Adriano. Too bad, he will probably forgive her right away.

Also, re: Rafa--how would Val know that's not her son? Unless maybe he had a birthmark or something...but then we would have already seen such an identifier on the real son. Unless somebody lied, and Val's son is really a daughter.
Ha!
J in O

Either, Leo told her or she knows Tita didn't raise it or while she was at the big house she knew one of the boys was her son. The only person left in town that believed Rafa was his son was Adriano. Everybody else knew better. Can't believe it took a secret note from Val to knock some sense into him.

Closed captioning went out while Val and Ad were talking in the jail...Adriano has not told Val about his one night stand with Raq? My guess is that will drive a wedge between the reunited lovers before long.
J in O

oh, I imagine our resident witch Raquel will be the one to tell about her tryst with Adriano

I don't think the one night stand will be problem for Val after all she knows full well what sister dearest is capable of. Plus which it would be criminal to separate this pair who have paid a horrible price already.

As to Val and the money I think it is probable that Leo laid some away for her when he was trying to help he and make up for his horrendous parenting,

There was something about the memo/Tita connection that gave Vl a clue about Rafa not being her but what the heck it was is anybody's guess and we may never know.

About the Addie and Raq fling--remember that in the flashback it looked to US that Raq was older and more experienced and Addie was quite a bit younger and a bit reluctant--but that was just my impression. I don't think Raq became obsessed with Addie until he turned his interest to Val. Surely something that happened before Val and Addie got serious will be understood, excused and forgiven by Val.

If Mariana wanted to look like Blanda, she sure picked the right dress--frumpy. It probably came out of Blanda's own closet at the Big House. The only thing that will give her away is a shot of her face, it's much thinner and bonier than Blanda's.

I'm sure that if Socorro was willing to give Val clothes, she is also willing to give her money. Val is her friend and Socorro has more than enough money to go around.

It will be interesting to find out how Val knows Rafa isn't her son. The sooner Rafa gets put in his place the happier everyone will be, including Rafa--should he live. I love to see him squirm and plot and come up with new twists on his stories. So he has to be loyal to both Raq and Ivan. He doesn't suspect the two of them are sleeping with each other and don't have any pillow talk (Or Bra-Talk)?

I too thought that Raq was the one making all the running at Adriano. He feels terribly guilty but he shouldn't.

Not a bad idea the Socorro could give Val money but she told the shopkeeper before she connected with Soccoro that she had money so that's why my money is on Worst Father of the Century Leo.

I'd love to see Rafa I'm so Hot discover the Raq and Ivan are an item. For the life of me I fail to see Raq's charms that have Ivan who seems to be younger than her so besotted.

Decie-Agree w/you on Rafa.
The Val money problem is that Val was escaping from the last place they held her (attic or Storage Unit) and she was in her pjs. No pesos for her pocket.

She went to the shopping mall before she found Socorro.

OTOH, didn't Raq give Rafa the kiss-off?

I'm sick of seeing Rafa slide by. He has double crossed everyone but all of them continue to provide him information he uses to swap with the other and he lives another day. If everyone would stop talking to the guy he's out. I couldn't believe he shows up at Mariana's house to beg a favor.
