Lo Que La Vida Me Robó, # 156, 6-18-2014: Caught in flagrante delicto except for some tighty blackies, a green bra, and matching panties.

Lo refrito # 1:  J-L tells Montse he knows she's hiding something from him, and it's her last chance to tell the truth.

Lo refrito # 2:  Fabiola and Graciela argue over who killed Sandro--Montserrat or María.  Adolfo and his crew are called in by Pedro Medina to clean up the mess.

Lo refrito # 3:  Montserrat arrives at the motel to meet Alejandro for their usual nookie session;  María sees them together.

Lo refrito # 4 Or Hell Hath No Fury Like María Scorned
José-Luis tells María he's not going to fall for her usual tricks, but she insists she isn't messing with him this time and wonders whether J-L is curious to know with whom his wife is at that very moment.  J-L asks if it's who he thinks. María tells him to go and see for himself but advises him to hurry up before he misses the chance.  He takes a gun and heads out.

"It's your fault, Alejandro, for rejecting me," María says to herself.

Pedro's Fortress

Victoria tells her mother Nadia (officially now on Caray Caray Poor Blind Nadia or PBN) about escaping from school to see Victor and what they did together.  It was great fun, but they missed having Nadia with them.  Nadia tells Victoria that she would have liked to be with them, too, and to see Victor again, but, thank God, Pedro was away on a trip because there's no telling what he would have done if he'd found out Victoria had escaped from school to be with her father.  Victoria comments that Pedro is ugly when he yells.  Nadia wants Victoria to promise never to leave school again without permission, and Victoria does. Nadia then asks Victoria to give her the kisses Victor sent for Nadia, and Victoria obliges with pleasure.

Back at Chez José-Luis

Rosario sees María as she is leaving and demands angrily to know what María is doing there.  María responds with a snide, "It's a pleasure to see you again, too, Rosario," and says she came to talk to José-Luis and to tell him that his beloved wife is really a whore who is sleeping with ROSARIO'S SON!  This provokes Rosario to haul back and prepare to give María a big golpe, but María is too quick for the old broad and stays Rosario's hand before it can land on María face.  Rosario screams that she's not going to let María wreak her latest round havoc, but María tells Rosario it's too late, that J-L already went out to confront the lovers.  Rosario can't believe it, and asks María if she realizes what she's done.  María says she does and how!

"I'd prefer to see him dead than in the arms of that awful woman!" she claims, storming out of the house, leaving a distraught Rosario to the awful realization that J-L is going to kill her son and Montserrat.

Back in Victoria's Bedroom

Victoria has remembered something that her Tío Adolfo wanted her to give to Nadia.  Victoria runs to her cute little backpack and pulls out a small red box and tells her mother, "Take it," adding that Adolfo said that it was only for Nadia and that Pedro should never find it.

Their Usual Clean, Well-Lighted Motel Room, Outskirts of Agua Azul

Alejandro breaks off his passionate make-up make-out session with Montserrat to admit that he needs to confess something and won't feel easy until he's told Montserrat.  He admits that he accepted María's indecent proposal to spend one night with her in exchange for the original will of Benjamin Almonte.  Montse is shocked (though I'm not sure WHY since she was the one who suggested that he do it in the first place) and Alejandro admits that he accepted in part because he was jealous.  But Alejandro tells Montserrat not to worry, that nothing happened because he couldn't go through with it, and he told María that he would never accept her conditions even if it means never getting back the original will.  Montse is relieved.

She then tells Alejandro that María doesn't even have the will, that she's just trying to trick Alejandro to get what she wants.  Montserrat tells him that Fabiola's lawyer, that guy Sandro, claims he has the will.

"How do you know?" Alejandro asks.
"He called to tell me he had it and wanted to hand it over to me," Montse says.

Thank God Adolfo Sprang For the Unlimited Talk and Text Plan

Josefina is on her cell, saying yes, yes, tomorrow she's going to visit, but then calls Victor over as he enters.  She explains someone wants to talk to him and hands him her phone.

It's Nadia on the other end.  She cries, "Victor, mi amor!"  and he tells her how much he loves and misses her and that hearing her again makes him feel as if he's returning to life.  She explains that Adolfo got a cell phone for her, so now she and Victor can be in contact.  Not to seem callous or cynical because the conversation is moving since it's the first time they've spoken in weeks, but they do go on for a while and basically in the same vein:  "I love you with all my soul.";  "I love you!"; "I'm dying without you."; "I really love you!";  "I miss you!"  "I need to embrace you and kiss you!"  "I love you so much!"  "You're the love of my life!" Just repeat these phrases in any combination for about two minutes, and you'll have about 99% of their conversation together.  Victor begs Nadia not to lose hope and tells her he's near and that soon they'll all be together again.  It's just a question of a little more time.  Nadia warns Victor to be careful because Pedro is beginning to suspect that Victor is in Agua Azul.

Back in Motel Seis

Alejandro and Montse hold hands and discuss the situation with Sandro and the original copy of the will he claims he has.  Montse says she was supposed to meet Sandro at noon, but then Laurito went missing, and she could think of nothing but looking for him.  She had to leave before seeing Sandro.  Alejandro says they can't trust the word of Sandro.  He wants to know if Monte is sure that Sandro took the will from María.  When?  Montse says she doesn't know, but it suggests that all isn't lost.  She's going to go to Sandro again to apologize for missing their first meeting and and to beg him to give her the will.

Alejandro doesn't want her to do this and says it's his risk to take, but Montse says she has to.  Sandro wants to give the will to Montserrat since he wants revenge on Graciela for something she did to him.  Montse says she doesn't understand it well, but knows that there was some agreement between Gracie and Fabiola.  She insists that she's going to call Sandro again.  Alejandro tells her not to and that he's sure Sandro will want something in exchange, but Montse says it's the only way they can recover their lives together.  Alejandro knows this, but is still worried and says it's probably a trick.  She says, okay, then he should tell her what he thinks she should do instead.

She walks away, faces the mirror, and begins taking off her earrings.

Watching her, Alejandro finally relents and tells her to call Sandro, but maintains that he doesn't want her to meet Sandro alone.  Alejandro will go with her.

Montse worries that if Sandro knows Alejandro is alive and in Agua Azul,  he (Sandro) will tell Medina.  She takes off her necklace.

Alejandro insists again that he doesn't want her to go alone, that they're going to face all obstacles and dangers and fight together.  He's her strength, and she is his.  He wants them to be able to live openly without having to hide from anyone.

"This is what I most desire, tho, my love,"  she tells him.

They get back to kissing and things soon look more serious.  Clothes are coming off, and they both fall out of the frame of the shot together, presumably towards the bed.

Keep Repeating "I love you" and "I miss you" About Fifteen More Seconds, Folks

Nadia and Victor are still at it, but finally wrap things up and say goodbye.   However, the romantics among you might be pleased to know that before they hang up they arrange a time to call each other again just ten minutes later to continue their conversation while they're both in bed.

Off the phone, Victor thanks Josefina for helping him and Nadia.  Josefina says Victor needs to thank Adolfo, too.  Victor comments that it was generous of Adolfo but that he (Victor) imagines that Josefina was behind it.  Josefina laughs with pleasure and admits that, yes, as the moll of the El Alacrán she did make the suggestion.  Actually, she doesn't say that, but she does seem pretty happy to be with Adolfo.

Suddenly, her phone rings again.  It's a very upset Rosario saying to please tell her that Alejandro is in the house and not doing what she thinks he might be doing with Montse.  There's going to be a tragedy!  Josefina says she doesn't know where Alejandro is, but imagines that he's doing exactly what Rosario thinks he's doing, but she wants Rosario to calm down and tell her (Josefina) what is going on.

"José-Luis knows my son is with Montse!"  Rosario cries while crying.  "He's going to kill them!  He's going to kill them!"

"Oh, God!"  says Josefina.

Now Victor wants to know what's happening, too, so Josefina explains that J-L knows everything and also passes the phone to Victor so he can talk to Rosario, who pretty much just repeats to Victor what she just said to Josefina and says again they've got to avoid the tragedy.  Victor says he knows where Alejandro and Montserrat are, and he (Victor) is headed there now.  He tells Josefina to keep trying to reach Montserrat on her cell phone.  He leaves.

In the Only Scene Remotely Resembling My Own Life in This TN, DIM and Monica Discuss Take-Out Options

And quickly settle on sushi.  They also discuss how nice it is to be in their home together, but then the conversation shifts quickly to one of Monica's current favorite topics:  José-Luis's investigation of Alejandro's possible return to life and reappearance in Agua Azul.  She tells DIM that they need to keep working on this, but DIM insists he doesn't know anything and also maintains that it's just J-L being paranoid.  But Monica has J-L's back and believes that if he's investigating it must be because he's got very strong reasons to be suspicious.

Here DIM, clearly not wanting to talk about it or reveal what he knows,  pauses and asks Monica if he can ask her a favor:  Can they please not mix what happens at work with their life at home?  He doesn't want the awful things that happen outside to distract them from their relationship.  She takes this in and agrees it's best.

On A Dark Side Street in Agua Azul, Cue the Moaning of the Male Chorus of Doom

A shaken and distraught José-Luis pulls over in his car.  He seems nervous, preoccupied, clearly thinking about and expecting the worst.  After a few seconds, he keeps driving, intent on finding Alejandro and Montserrat

And If He Could Hear Their Voiceovers He'd Feel Even Worse

Sorry to say the Univision censors got to this scene, folks, to make it a G rating, I guess, but I happened to see the original and am giving you the extended PG version:

In their motel room, things are officially and seriously steamy between Alejandro and Montserrat.  The covers are on and we can't see much by way of specifics, but we still get a lot of kissing, rolling around, and changing positions along with the following voiceovers which I guess maybe Alejandro and Montserrat are mind-melding to each other:

Montserrat:  Mi vida, Alejandro.  Amame.  Hazme el amor.  Soy tuya/My life, Alejandro.  Love Me.  Make love to me.  I'm yours.

Alejandro:  Te amo, Montserrat.  Solo cuando te tengo en mis brazos como así, me siento vivo/I love you, Montserrat.  Only when I have you in my arms like this do I feel alive.

Front Desk, Motel, Agua Azul

José-Luis interrogates the front desk clerk, flashing his police chief badge and insisting that the couple he's looking for (Alejandro and Montserrat) are in the motel.   A quick aside to say that as I was preparing this recap, I happened to pause the capitulo at this very moment and can't resist including this single random screen shot:

Stunned at this incredible show of force from Agua Azul's finest
José-Luis warns the clerk that he better cooperate and demands to know what room the couple are in as he shows the clerk a photo of our golden couple in happier times.  The clerk swears he's never seen them and tells still suspicious José-Luis that he must have the wrong motel.  José-Luis insists he was told they'd be a motel off the first exit of the highway.  But the wise clerk asks him if it was the motel off the exit going north or the exit going south.  There's another motel just like this one.  More enlightened now about the abundance of lodging options in Agua Azul and still determined to find Alejandro and Montserrat, José-Luis heads to that other motel.

Rosario Is Worried About Alejandro Again.  Fair Enough This Time.

She paces around in Laurito's room.   Guess she's worried about what's going to happen to them when José-Luis gets back because she decides to wake Laurito up and tells him she's sorry, but they need to go out.  He's sleep and doesn't understand why.  But she begs him to get up, please, and tells him they need to go to his Uncle Macario's house.

Not Suspecting Company Is About To Come Calling

Macario asks Dominga which one of her delicious dishes she's made for them for dinner tonight, but it seems she's in a mood as she answers just rice and beans plus some tortillas from yesterday.  Macario asks why and if it was because she didn't have time to make fresh ones, but she says she had time, she just didn't want to.  Macario takes the hint and asks her if something is wrong, and she says she's not angry, but it's just that she's married to the most gossipy man in Agua Azul, but it seems the only person he doesn't tell things to is her.  She doesn't know what Mac is doing with Amelia and Graciela, but they both came to see Mac, and he won't tell Dominga why.  She doesn't know what other things Mac might be hiding from her, and it hurts her terribly and makes her feel depressed (achicopalada).

Mac looks like he feels badly about this but it might just be about having to eat yesterday's tortillas.

Mansion Mendoza-Basurto

Graciela escorts her house guest and unacknowledged daughter, Fabiola, into her acknowledged and estranged daughter Montserrat's former bedroom.  Ungrateful Fabiola wants to know why Graciela has taken her precisely here, to the bedroom of an assassin, but Graciela immediately shoot backs that Fabiola should stop saying stupid things:  Fabiola knows perfectly well that Montserrat is incapable of killing even a mosquito.

Graciela urges Fabiola to close her eyes and try to rest, but Fabiola says she can't get the image of dead Sandro out of her head.  Graciela insists that Pedro's people are in charge of the situation and reassures Fabiola that tomorrow when she returns to her house, it will be as if nothing has occurred.  Graciela tells Fabiola goodnight and starts to leave, but then looks back at Fabiola again and returns to where she is sitting on the bed.

Suddenly, Graciela leans over and kisses Fabiola on the forehead and pats it, too, in a kind of semi-blessing.  Graciela leaves.

A shocked Fabiola has a Qué the hell look and even rubs her forehead to get rid of Gracie's saliva germs.

"Hypocrite!"  Fabiola says in disgust.

Back to Macario and Dominga

Macario tells Dominga that the reason he doesn't tell her things is not because he doesn't trust her but because he doesn't want to make her feel upset.  She says she feels more upset not knowing.  She keeps thinking and thinking about what it could be that he's not telling her.  She says she married him and promised to be with him in the good times and the bad, but Macario doesn't confide in her.

Macario tells her she's right and promises that from this moment on, he will tell Dominga everything.

Okay, says Dominga, let's begin now.  She wants to know what's going on with Gracie and Amelia.  But clever Mac says he can't tell her that because that's news from yesterday.  He only promised to tell her about things from going forward.  She gets frustrated and says that she forgot what a trickster Macario is and makes some comment about how he turned the tortilla on her or something like that, which I guess means that he fooled her again.  He says speaking of tortillas, could she please make some hot ones?

Back to Mansion Mendoza-Basurto

Carlotta is ripping into to Graciela, demanding to know how is it possible that Gracie brought that drunk Fabiola to the house--to Carlotta's house?  And what's more, Graciela put Fabiola up in Montserrat's bedroom even after all the terrible things Fabiola did.

"Are you crazy?"  Carlotta demands.

Gracie's response is to thump Carlotta on the forehead and to sneer a quick and menacing, "You need Jesus."   She tells Carlotta not to meddle, but Carlotta insists that she has a right to since it's HER house, and if at this moment she wants to get rid of Graciela she (Carlotta) can.

Graciela just tells Carlotta to shut it and that she (Graciela) doesn't want to argue in the hall.  If Carlotta wants to talk, she needs to come with Gracie to her room.

A Quick Return to Poor, Blind Nadia

Who is desperately trying to get all the value out of her new friends and family plan and talk some more to Victor.  The maid Susanna is helping Nadia make the call, but no one is answering.  Nadia wonders if Susanna got the number right, but Susanna insists that she did, that it's the number that's in the cell phone.  She suggests that Nadia take a break and try again in ten minutes.  Nadia agrees.

Back to Carlotta and Graciela

Carlotta insists that she wants that woman (Fabiola) out of her house.  There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that Graciela could say to make Carlotta change her mind.

Graciela turns towards Carlotta with a teary-eyed expression but says nothing for several seconds.

"Fabiola is my daughter, Carlotta," Gracie finally tells her.

Another Motel Just Like the First Motel

J-L tries a second time at a second motel, though seems more calm and collected in his approach, at least at first.  He doesn't show his badge but instead just shows the photo of Alejandro and Montserrat and asks the new clerk if they are staying at the motel.  The suspicious clerk wonders why--Are they criminals or something?

"Are they here or not?"  J-L wants to know.
"Yes," says the clerk and then the kicker.  "They come almost every night."
"What room?" J-L asks.
"169"
"What?"
"169"

For some reason, this number enrages J-L, and he draws his gun on this very helpful desk clerk.

"You stay here!"  J-L orders the clerk.
The clerk seems to have no problem with that.

Up In 169

Alejandro and Montserrat are still doing their thing between the sheets.  In the throes of passion, they don't notice crazy J-L open the door and enter the room.   Some bizarro music is playing as J-L comes around towards the foot of the bed, watching Alejandro and Montserrat kissing all the while....

In the next instant, J-L pulls the top sheet off our lovers!

Luckily, it looks like Montserrat and Alejandro enjoy extensive foreplay since, in spite of their being at it for what seems like hours to me, they haven't yet removed all their clothes and are both still in their underwear and not yet completely BUK NEKID as they stand before José-Luis, caught in the semi-act.  This saves the censors at Univision a world of editing headaches but is disappointing for us.

J-L points his gun at couple.

Montserrat and Alejandro both grab the sheets to cover their scantily-clothed selves and look horrified and shocked.

J-L says something insulting about Montse being a facilota (easy), and Ale jumps up and proclaims he's not going to let J-L insult her.   Montse begins, "I beg you, José-Luis," but he tells her to shut up and reminds her how he asked her to her face and she swore that Alejandro was dead.  J-L tells Ale that he's going to kill him and that he (Ale) better give Montse one last last kiss and say goodbye to her forever.

José-Luis gets ready to shoot.

Montse begs J-L not to kill Alejandro.  "Please, for love of child I have within me," she cries.  Alejandro stands in front of her trying to protect her.

Meanwhile, María Is Having A REALLY Bad Night at La Escondida

In the backstage area bar manager, Zulima, wants to know what's up with María, why she left the stage in the middle of her set.  María runs to the dressing room and Zulima orders another dancer to go on and finish the dance for María.

In the dressing room, María pulls off her blonde wig and cries.  She whispers to herself that maybe at this moment Alejandro is already dead.  Zulima enters and again wants to know what's up.  She's never seen María dance so badly, though we on the Patio would probably beg to differ.  María is a very responsible employee, though, and apologizes to Zulima and promises she'll make it up to her tomorrow doing a double shift.  It's just that right now she (María) doesn't feel well.  In fact, she is dying of love and sadness.

Zulima guesses that all this is about that same Alejandro dude.  She thought by now that María had finally gotten over this, but understanding the situation and María's feelings, Zulim tells María to go home and get some rest.

After Zulima is gone, María looks into the mirror still crying and repeats over and over, "I don't regret it!  I don't regret it!"

Back to the Big Action in the Motel Room

Alejandro tells Montse to go and to leave him alone to deal with José-Luis, but she refuses.  J-L is still pointing the gun at Alejandro and vowing that he (J-L) is going to kill him (Ale), even taunting Alejandro with the fact that he already has a niche in the church with his name on it waiting for him.   Once again, Montse begs J-L for the love of God to put down the gun, but J-L mocks her in anger, saying her pleas don't mean anything to him.

Again, Alejandro begs Montserrat to go and leave him with J-L,  but she refuses again.  Angry at her attitude, J-L picks up Montserrat's clothes from the floor and orders her to get dressed and go with him. José-Luis has decided he won't kill Alejandro.

Alejandro tells J-L that he should know that Montserrat is HIS (Alejandro's) WOMAN.
J-L screams back, "Era! Era tu mujer!" or "Was!  Was your woman! But now she's MY WIFE."
"If you kill me now," Alejandro tells him.  "She'll still love me.  She's only with you because she thought I was dead.  You're a coward.  You hid the truth from her to rob me of my life.  My family!"
"Yes, yes," J-L responds.  "Precisely in the same way you robbed everything from me!"
"I was 7 years in a coma!"  shouts Alejandro.
"I spent 7 years in prison paying a debt for YOU!"  shouts J-L.  He also reminds both Alejandro and Montserrat that they've conveniently forgotten all that he's done for them.

"Lower the gun already, please!"  begs Montserrat. now fully dressed.
"Shut your mouth, Montserrat!"  J-L yells.  "We're going."

Alejandro says they're not going anywhere.  J-L will have to kill him first.  J-L says that would be a pleasure.  Montse begs Alejandro to listen to her and says she's going with J-L now because she doesn't want an enraged J-L to kill Alejandro.  She runs to Alejandro again, but J-L screams for Alejandro to let her go.  J-L keeps holding the gun on Alejandro and insists that he (J-L) and Montse are leaving.  J-L pushes Montse towards the door and has these parting words for Alejandro, "My vengeance is here!"

In the hallway, J-L informs Montse with menace, "You're going to pay dearly for this betrayal!"

In the next moment, Victor runs in.  "Ah, look who's here!" says J-L sarcastically.  "So they didn't disconnect your friend?"  Victor asks Montse if everything is okay--did J-L hurt her or Alejandro?  J-L informs Victor that Alejandro was sleeping with this, er...."My wife," and is still in the room.  Victor goes for J-L, but J-L pulls the gun, and Victor wisely back off.  J-L says that tomorrow he's bringing the authorities to get Alejandro.  J-L tells Montse to move and pushes her out while Victor rushes towards Alejandro's room.

Alejandro is now fully dressed as Victor runs in.  Alejandro asks Victor where Montserrat and J-L are and insists that he (Ale) and Victor go get her.  Alejandro wants a gun.  Victor tells Alejandro to calm down and not do anything crazy.  They need to think.  Alejandro is worried that J-L will hurt Montse, but Victor insists this is impossible.  Montserrat is pregnant with José-Luis's child, and also he loves Montserrat as much as Alejandro does and would never hurt her.  Alejandro doesn't look convinced.

Back to Carlotta and Graciela

Carlotta can't believe what Gracie is saying about Fabiola being her daughter.  Gracie says she only found out recently and that Pedro Medina told her.  It was her baby with Benjamin Almonte.  Gracie thought that the baby died, but it was because of that awful Amelia lied and gave the baby to Anastasia Almonte.  Gracie can't believe that they were so cruel to her.  Carlotta says that Gracie needs to tell Fabiola the truth about being her mother, but Gracie tells Carlotta to shut up that she (Graciela) will handle it the way that she wants.  Graciela also swears that if Carlotta ever says anything to Fabiola or meddles in this, Gracie will cut out Carlotta's tongue.

Almonte Beach House

Adolfo thanks his men for their good work that night.  He checks to make sure all is in order in the beach house and that there are no signs of the murder that took place and he leaves.

Dominga and Macario's House

Rosario arrives carrying a sleeping Laurito.  She asks Dominga to please take care of Laurito and tells Macario what happened:  that José-Luis found out about everything.  Macario isn't going to sit by and do nothing, though, and goes to rummage through a desk drawer and pulls out a gun of his own.

"What are you doing?" asks a stunned Rosario
"Protecting what's ours," he says.  "Let's go!"

They leave together packing heat!

José-Luis's House

José-Luis is still being rough and pushing Montse around, but she orders him to calm down and to remember that she's pregnant.  He tells her to be quiet and informs her that the next time she sees Alejandro (IF J-L allows it, that is) is going to be when Alejandro's in prison.

She asks J-L not to yell and to think of Laurito, but J-L says he's the man of the house and will yell as much as he likes.  He grabs a bottle of tequila and begins gulping it down.

Montserrat says that she knows what she did to J-L is not something he will forgive, but she loves Alejandro and she couldn't stop herself from being with him.   J-L calls her a loose woman, and she reminds him she asked him for a divorce.  She wanted to tell him the truth, but she heard him talking to Refugio and knows that he wanted to put Alejandro in jail to separate Montse and Ale again.

José-Luis claims bitterly that Montserrat broke all her promises to him.  Montserrat says she knows that and that she vowed to be faithful to J-L at the altar, but that in the end, she couldn't fulfill those promises that she made to him.

"My love for Alejandro is greater than my principles," she declares.

End of Capitulo

Avances:  Alejandro claims he's got to get Montse back.  José-Luis still has his gun.

Comments:
Jose Luis has some nerve !! Did he forget that had he told her truth about Alejandro being alive this would have never happen?! But of course not everything is always everyone else's fault but his. I can't stand him. From his irritating voice, scruffy face, horrible clothes, his looks and personality etc there is nothing remotely appealing about him.

I can't stand Maria but if she accidentally "kills" him someday I would give her a pass.

As the World Turns in Aguazul... Excellent recap! It was funny and entertaining, loved it! Thank you!

Grace & Fabs. I don't know what to make of these two. I'm waiting for Graceless to double cross her the moment she sees an opening. The only thing that has my eyebrow shooting up is Grace's insistence that Monse did not kill Sandro. She even seems motherly. Hmm.

Mac & Dominga: So underrated! I love these two! They bring normal to this story and they remind me of my parents. Mom scolding, Dad being a "Ladino" flipping the tortilla and cracking us all up!

Thank God Adolfo Sprang For the Unlimited Talk and Text Plan - Hilarious! I'm also glad it finally occurred to someone to get Nadia a prepaid.

Ale & Montse at the Motel Seis... this scene reminded me of my favorite American Soaps, General Hospital, All My Hijos, Santa Barbara (yes, Santa Barbara even if It got cancelled prematurely!)I was a little thrown by this scene but seeing an unruly Rulli in the tighty blackies soon won me over. Drama! I love the unraveling of JL but when he threw her clothes, geez, I think I felt the hit. I feel bad for him, his grip is getting tighter and she's slipping further away. He baffles me when he says she broke another promise, the one they made at the rio, some 8 years ago. Really? Like I'm going to call some ex boyfriends and complain they didn't love me forever like they promised. He needs to realize his future isn't with Monse and get back on the right track. He's a good man who's hurt. Perdonate Jose Luis!

Ugh, tomorrow! Thanks for letting me sound off - Santi

Julia R:

Thank you so very much for this fantastic recap and I loved all your little asides.

Amazingly, I felt sorry for all three protags this evening. JL for being way angry, Monse for the continued lies until confronted, and for Ale being the usual yelling, ragey guy. I don't blame JL for being angry, I never thought he would shoot Ale with the gun, he just wanted to keep Ale at bay. Monse, I understand that she wants to be with Ale, but she could have waited a bit more, she'd already waited seven years, she could have just told JL it wasn't working out, move Lolo and Rosy with her elsewhere, kept a low profile and just waited it out. I can understand Ale too, with the seven year coma, but as JL pointed out, JL has sacrificed a heck of a lot more than Ale, as far as robbing JL, that was more Gracie than anyone else. Victor was a good voice of reason, as was the Capitana about JL not being paranoid, but suspicious. I hope this resolves it self without a murder.

Fofito is a heck of a cleaner isn't he? There wasn't even a hint of a bloodstain or anything. It was perfect.

I think BM regretted what she had done. She knew JL would go find Monse and Ale, but she didn't count on JL not killing Ale. Won't she be surprised.

I was also surprised by Graceless. Who thought she would tell Carly about Fabs? That was very surprising. Now who thinks Carly will keep this to herself? I also had a giggle when Graceless kissed Fabs head and then Fabs wiped off her forehead, too funny.

I don't think Mac is ever going to tell Dominga about Graceless or Amelia unless it becomes public some other way.

Thanks again Julia R for this very awesome recap and the injected humor, buk nakkid being my favorite ; )

Julia, thanks for the recap. OMGosh! I was thinking the same thing about the declarations of love between Victor and Poor, Blind Nadia.

Has the Motel 6 upgraded their rooms so that one cannot hear the click of the key card in the door? What about the breeze that follows when the door is opened? Maybe they couldn't hear over their loud thoughts. Who knows.

So, in the uncut love scene, Monseratt is braless and is riding Alex like she's on a Merry-Go-Round (Sorry Julia, I go right for the R-rating and skip PG), but when J.L. pull back the blanket she's clothed. When did they have time to dress?

OK, so why does J.L. believe the kid is his? The clerk said that they meet their every night. Secondly, Monseratt does not know when to shut up. She should be very still and quiet because she's just been caught in the act with her lover by a drunk man with a gun. Baiting him is not a good idea right now.

So JL is demented, jeaoulus, possesive and also geographgly illiterate? Glad Jl did not shoot Ale because that was very close though now JL has a reason to keep Monse forever( The baby) .

When Gracie told Carly about Fabby i got very suprised i guess secrets dont run long in that family anymore.. The question still remains though is this an act to steal Fabbys money or Gracie is finally displaying maternal feelings? She also needs psychiatric help and needs to pay for the crimes of ordering the poisoning of Benny and for the false testimony.

Maria has no redemption anymore, she is crazy and needs psychiatric help urgently. Not only that but she needs to rot in jail for the attempted kidnapping and attempted murder of Monseratt.

Adolfo is pretty much too reaching a point of no return, thanks to Peddy and Ezequel he has turned into a ruthless cold blooded killer. Also Maria has a very bad influence on him. So far his saving grace is Nadia, the relationship with Fina will not last long because when Fina finds out about his crimes ,its all over for him.

Could someone(E.J. or Cynderella Novia de Alejandro Avila) please tell me how you can watch this novela with the R-rating instead of the PG-rating?
I mainly watch this telenovela re Hulu on my computer because my TV is too far away to really enjoy the expressions on the characters' eyes. I seen it on Univision various times but it still must be the PG-rating
But seeing it with the R-rating would be so much better.

Such a clever funny recap Julia R. Hope to catch up on the episodes sometime this week.

Loved "Maria is too fast for the old broad..."

and your shoutout to Hemingway with "a clean well-lighted motel [place]"

Motel Seis (LOL!) and

"Thank God Adolfo Sprang For the Unlimited Talk and Text Plan"

Just a delight to read. I'll settle for the Hulu Plus PG version later on today. But Cynderella's assertion that Montse was riding Alejandro like a merry-go-round certainly sounds interesting!

Oh and if you thought that this week of Robo was action packed, the next few days/weeks will just be utter insanity!,just saying, dont mean to spoil anything:)

Julia R., your recap covered it all and was so funny! Thanks. I loved your screen cap as well which just happened to be my favorite scene. I thought that the desk clerk's eyes were going to jump out of his head. Made me laugh almost as much as Montse arriving at the motel and walking in the lobby with her sunglasses on as if she were in disguise. ??? It was night, wasn't it?

Cynderella, that was a very good comment about the opening of the motel room door. Guess there was too much action going on. So funny!

I finally had enough of blah blah Graciela last night. I kept wishing someone would just shut her up already. If only Carlota had the strength to throw her and her drunken Fabiola out. Another one that needs to disappear of course is crazy BM. After last night, I am hoping Adolfo might decide she is an unpredictable loose end and end her blah blahing once and for all. Adolfo the unredeemable killer and cleaner could really help the plot along with a few good hits at this point.

Could it be I am ready for ultimas semanas?
Yes!

Jarifa

Julia, what a great title! Drank in every word of this intoxicating brew, word for word.

"Thank God Adolfo Sprang For the Unlimited Talk and Text Plan" (great line, wasn't it Judy?), "On A Dark Side street in Agua Azul, Cue the Moaning of the Male Chorus of Doom, "Mac looks like he feels badly about this but it might just be about having to eat yesterday's tortillas", "Graciela escorts her house guest and unacknowledged daughter, Fabiola, into her acknowledged and estranged daughter Montserrat's former bedroom" and "She's never seen María dance so badly, though we on the Patio would probably beg to differ" were among my many favorites.

Santi, I am probably gullible but for a moment, an indiscernable second in time, I thought Graciela was truly in pain regarding Fabs. But leave it to her to tearily confide in Carlota (bad idea) and then threaten her with vehemence the next. As I've said before, there is some call of the blood and a willingness to protect her children from others. Sadly, there is no one to protect them from her.

While JL should never, ever have hid the truth about Ale from Monse, I agree Madelaine, Monse could have waited to be with Ale. While JL deserves to lose her, I thought having them flaunt their affair in his face (literally) was very sad.

When Pedro returns and learns Maria is alive (as we know he will), Adolfo's days (sadly) will be numbered. And as for the phone? Very bad idea. How long will it take for that to be discovered? Ack.

Agree with others who have said Dim keeping what he knows from Monica will likely end their romance.

When the heck is Esme's baby coming???

Julia, this was marvelous. Thank you!

Diana

Thanks, JulieR , for that snappy recap of a crazy episode.

BSC JL quietly slipping into that hotel room gave me the chills. Isn't it lucky that the lovers were in their undies when he cheekily pulled off the sheet.

Cynderella...It is funny that you described the X rated version as Mony on the merry-go-round . I saw the undies version. However, strangely enough, I had the thought last night as I was watching that it seems as though JL and Ale seem to be fighting over the only swing on the playground , and JL is fuming and demanding his turn to ride. I guess that we are on some kind of similar wavelength.

Yikes...Bluewater is becoming a very dangerous place. The crazies are getting even crazier (Maria and BSC JL, I am looking at you.). The bad are getting worse...hello, Grace and Pedro. The lost are going deeper into the woods...Fofo, you are a goner.

I was thinking about macario's homily about the mare and the foal, and I had the idea that we could think of appropriate maxims for all the characters. For example, after JL surprised Mony and Ale in bed...perhaps "Early, to bed, early to rise, makes a man, healthy, wealthy, and wise"...no, that does not work in this case. How about "Early to bed...gets you caught with your lover by her BSC husband." Remember that old saying ?

Well, I am off to teach modal auxilliaries. Only three more classes left before I am on vaca. Yay.

P.s. JL catching Mony and Ale made me think of my mother catching mi novio and me kissing in the living room..except Mother was not crazy and carrying a gun. ...and we were fully clothed.....never mind...very different situations.

Julia loved your recap! In particular I liked "Hell hath no fury like Maria scorned," "Back in motel seis," how JL was "more enlightened now about the abundance of lodging options in Agua Azul," and, of course, the line about Maria's poor dancing skills.

I was especially grateful because I'm watching without captions and lost a bit of JL's rant-- although I caught the drift of the thing. Poor JL. He's just not thinking clearly. How much fun can it be to be married to someone who doesn't love you, doesn't want you,and is furious at you all the time? Bad enough that he's going to "keep" Montse, but once he throws Ale in prison (if he does) she'll hate him. Really? He wants to married to that? Maybe he just thinks if I'm going to be miserable, Montse will be too. Quite a turn around from the guy who used to only want her happiness. Wonder what Angie would think....

Angie would be rolling in her grave.JL is going unstable, hopefully something happens( Just not with Laurito for the love of god ) that unites Ale and JL again ,JL really isnt planning to let go of Monse now and obsession is nothing that should be underastimated, just look what happened to Maria and to where it brought her, there is no redemption possible for her anymore.

In the uncut version, Ale and Monse are naked. They show her riding on top (a lot). But also in the uncut version, when JL pulls back the blanket, they are clothed. That's why I wanted to know when everyone got dressed.

Susanlynn, I would love for Alex to just toss her up on a dresser (or anything) and go to town. It should be easy. Monse is tiny. I know I keep bringing it up, but watching that Amores Verdaderos love scene ruined all love scenes for me. I compare all love scenes to them. I did like Alex from Sortilegio. He was a freak too.

Victoria Gomez, I live so close to the border that I watch the show when it is broadcast in Mexico.

Julia- Not much time to comment, but excellent recap!

Hey, I think it's awesome that JL caught his wife in the act, and nobody got shot. He's still got some common sense and self control. If he didn't shoot either of them then (or even arrest Ale), then I'm not worried at all about him waving that gun around and such. He's all bark (and salivating and foaming) and no bite.

Julia, you were in absolute superb form with this fantastic recap! What wonderful writing that was punctuated with moments of MUCH needed laughter in a dreadful episode. Thank you, thank you!!!

I loved this: "Stunned at this incredible show of force from Agua Azul's finest" It was perfect, absolutely perfect!

Ok. So, I admit that I could not bring myself to watch this last night. The anticipation of watching JL go crackers was too much. I will have to wait for it to come up on Hulu Plus today. Agree with Anon @0106 that the mere thought of HEARING JL's whiny voice was too much. Those stinking "Hmms" he throws in there make me want to reach into the screen and slap him from here to Kingdom Come.

QUESTION: Did Graciela really think her baby was dead or is she just spouting that line as a way to get the pity of others. Am I remembering correctly in that flashback scene with Padre A that she strongly implied that she had killed that child?

Do we think that she handed over to Amelia what she thought was a dead baby, but Amelia then quickly realized it was alive and then the rest is history?

This whole baby thing is still very confusing to me with Graciela's many iterations of this story.

There are sure a lot of nut jobs loose in this little back water of a Blue Water town. Just wait when all of the nut jobs converge.

Oy. It gives me a headache just thinking about it!

Fatima

I am going to look at this from J.L.'s POV and give you the reasons why he should be pissed off and Monse should have been shot on the spot.

Monse was angry at Alex but flat out refused to leave with JL or have sex with him. She stuck to her principles and stayed loyal to her husband. J.L. expected the same treatment, but she's addicted to Alex and those principles went out of the window.

J.L. knows that Monse stayed Alex and grew to love him even though she distained Alex. Maybe he's hoping that the reverse will happen. If he locks her up, maybe her hate will turn to love.

Cynderella:

You said it so much better than I could have about JL. I've been trying to state my point about him, not getting the respect, and his "befuddlement" about why Monse doesn't love JL. I wanted Monse to give him the respect, but she's so in love with Ale, she can't see straight. I'm hoping he takes the high road, once he gets over being ragey, and lets Monse go. I want him to become the honorable, great guy he used to be, with someone else, not Monse.

Madelaine and Cynderella, Novia de???

I DO understand your points/thoughts re JL. I think the thing that bothers me the most about him is what appears to be his total dismissal of Angelica both in memory and even while they were together.

JL would not have his perceived "power" and financial status if not for Angelica. Just once, I would like him to break through his obsessional fog over Montserrat and remember back to the genuine love she had for him.

With Angelica, he was not a wimp (and he was a wimp from the very beginning with Montserrat).

However, I agree that he somewhere, he still has good values. I, too, wish someone else for him. Someone that matches him in spirit.

Fatima

Fatima:

I don't think JL has forgotten Angie, I think she is still a part of his heart. He loved her yes, in love with her, no. Monse was JL's first love, and he is still stuck on what used to be. JL doesn't understand that Monse loves him, but she isn't in love with him. She even told this to JL before they were married, that Ale had her heart and always would. My problem with Monse is, she didn't give JL the same respect she gave to Ale. As she said all her principles went out the window when Ale came back. Sure JL lied to her about Ale, but she also lied by having these meetings with Ale over and over, two wrongs don't make a right.

I think the problem with JL is that he's lost, well, JL. He used to be do honorable but 7 years in prison thinking his rival was dead did something to him. In the beginning he was a man short on avocados (well not like Peddy) but long on honor. Ale was given to us as a more flawed character from the start. I think that's why we are all having such a hard time with this version of JL. Clearly both Ale and Montse were wrong to sneak around. But JL's semi-demonic behavior since discovering Ale's survival has not made honesty any easier. They still (Ale and Montse) should have taken a higher road if not THE high road.

Could tell you had fun with this episode Julia. The denizens of Crazyville sure are giving our recappers the best fodder for their brilliant talents. Wonderful!'

Love your "Talk and Text Plan" but if dear Adolfo really wanted to help his sister while Pedro is away...how about getting her the hell out of that house!! I could think of maybe a couple variations on an escape plan that would work. Or, let's face it, since Fina seems to be the brains of the Scooby Gang, maybe she could work something out. Anyone. Can't believe all they came up with was a cell phone to whisper sweet nothings through.

Though we knew JL was going to go this route, I'm not liking his rough treatment of Monse despite her deceptions to him. Apparently now we can take it as wanting her for the sheer possession and revenge against Ale aspect. Somehow I think this could have been just as powerful a story with JL not turning into a total insane cretin who manhandles a pregnant woman and maybe Monse honestly pulled between both. This TN now is becoming one big cliché and almost unappealing to watch. And of course, poor Laurito is caught in the middle.

And if the man had half a brain working, as the chief of police, he could have brought a few fellow Keystone Kops and just arrested Ale right there and then since he's still wanted by the police.

Yeah, Maria has sealed her doom. I'm going out on a limb here and wondering if all this mushing of Gracie over Fabs is going to turn out to be for nothing, a total kick to the heart, and after all, we will get Maria as her daughter. I get no "call of the blood" between Fabs and Gracie like we saw in the one confrontation back in the hacienda days with Maria. Something is just off with these two.

And of course, Carlotta Loose Lips now knows Gracie's secret. Lord. And could Dominga and Mac be any cuter. These two deserve a kiddie of their own to worry about and love and ditch the silly grownups.

Daisynjay

Julia R, you were on a roll with this recap. What an action packed episode and you didn't miss a beat. Plus your sub-titles had me LOLing all by myself.

Hell Hath No Fury Like María Scorned

Thank God Adolfo Sprang For the Unlimited Talk and Text Plan

Keep Repeating "I love you" and "I miss you" About Fifteen More Seconds, Folks

In all the time JL has been police chief, he has not been on any case and doesn't seem to be doing any police work, except that related to Ale, who he knows is innocent. And, when Montse entered the hotel, didn't the employee hand over a regular hotel room key? not a key card? I'm confused. We didn't see JL with a key, or a credit card sliding open the door. Did they just conveniently forget to lock it? Now that he is BSC JL does he have supernatural powers that help him unlock doors with just a turn of the knob? LOL!

I am glad he didn't shoot Ale for now, but this seems like its going to get a lot more tense tonight. Good thing Laurito is with Dominga, and not at home being scared senseless by JL and his gun. It's really getting to me how he keeps telling Ale and Montse how much they owe him, and all he did for them, when they didn't even ask him to.

We wont ever know, but Ale did feel guilty about letting him go to jail in his place. He asked Cervera to help get him out or at least get him less time, but Sandro killed him before he could do anything. I have a feeling that if Ale had not had that accident and fell into a seven year coma, he would not have allowed JL to serve so much time for him. He may have turned himself in as well because for all his flaws, he is deep down a good person just like JL.

Now JL is just scary and crazy. Hope this blows over soon and he understand Montse is not for him and lets her go. Maybe if Dim and Fina get back together, he still has a shot with Monica.

Maricruz

Great work, Julia.

My computer is now heating up too soon so I will be calling the geeks again. Will keep you all advised.

Someone said yesterday that the consequences of Alejandro boinking Maria were always there. We know that but we also know that Alejandro had long been in denial about her mental illness and obsession. Until the other night's episode.

The point about Graciela being wrong about which of these bitches is her daughter (talk about a blast from the past) is what I've been speculating about for a while. The "sister" word came up once again.

Now that Rosario knows that Maria turned JL loose on Alejandro and Monse, Maria's goose will finally be cooked and burned in Alejandro's mind.

On another note, anyone else want to speculate on what Pedro will demand of Gracie?

Love everyone's input, a group of very observant and super witty people.
I missed 2 things, what does BSC JL and BM stand for? Apologies i thonk I'm the only one that cant figure that out. Thsnk you kindly. Leticis

Leticis, BSC stands for BatSh*t Crazy and BM is for BitchMaria.

JL has always been short for Jose Luis.

Right, his best choices would be the capitana, or a sober Fabiola. But his addiction to Monste will always be there, just controlled until he dies. Anyone seen "damaged"??? Different scenario same sick addiction to one person, dont wish that on worst enemy.

Monica would be the best woman for JL. He doesn't seem to get it that having Monserrat hate him will put him farther and farther away from her.

I wonder whether Rosario is planning to stay away with Laurito. She needs to remember to tell Alejandro and Victor that it was Maria who sent JL on the trail.

Now, where is the money from the sale of the house?

Thanks UA, for thst info.
Fatima and Cynder regarding another love intrrest for JL ........Right, his best choices would be the capitana, or a sober Fabiola. But his addiction to Monste will always be there, just controlled until he dies. Anyone seen "damaged"??? Different scenario same sick addiction to one person, dont wish that on worst enemy.

Awesome recap, just too many good lines!!!

So the avances look like all of Ale's people surround JL at his house while he is still holding the gun. My first thought is he will know he has lost and decide to shoot himself. That way Ale, Montse, Macario, Victor and Rosario can feel absolutely no guilt at his death.

My heart goes out to Angelique right now. I've read the production finale in Mexico is slated July 27 but there is some filming and studio work still going on and they are halting right now. What would be the US finale then? Mercifully for all concerned, this story will be wrapping soon.

Daisynjay

DaisynJay,

I felt so bad for Angelique too, on the sudden death of her Mother. The finale in Mexico was slated for July 27th and the finale here was supposed to be the second week of August. I don't know what they will do now. We will have to wait and see. They could just shoot around her for a bit, I'm sure the writers could come up with something to explain her absence from the story.

Hi Robo crowd---It looks like Mi Corazon es Tuyo will start on Monday. Does anyone know when La Gata will start? I can't find a date for that one.
the gringo

Gringo:

So good to see you here : ) Mi Corazon Es Tuyo starts airing in Mexico on June 30th. It starts airing here July 21st. I don't know what has happened to La Gata, they may have pushed that one back. We'll have to wait and see what Uni does.

Poor Angelique. This can't be easy on her.

The articles I read yesterday were saying La Gata starts Monday at 8:00 pm EST, but my online television guide isn't showing it yet. I didn't read much since that one just doesn't interest me. Not a huge fan of Maite.

Daisynjay

LOL Gringo, you were the only one who like CI until the bitter end so I guess La Gata is right up your alley. I just can't watch another show from the same group of writers that destroyed CI so irreparably for me. Good luck with it!

Carlos: I watched scenes of Tues night’s ep last night and have to say that I’m very impressed with the actress who plays Maria and the writers. They have done an excellent job of showing her gradual decent into the abyss of madness. Her obsession with Ale is at epic proportions. She had to have Ale and in order for that to happen, she had to have that will. And even though Sand gave it to her, he risked her mission so HE HAD TO DIE! Then Ale rejecting her with the bare-faced truth, let’s face it, when all she wanted was one night (because one night with her would completely win his heart and he’d be hers forever, yeah right) means HE HAS TO DIE!!

Do you think that her obsession will now turn permanently to destroying him, or do you think she will get over her anger and try to “get him back”?

Nanette

Daisynjay, they are delaying LaGata until Sept. Mi Corazon Es Tuyo is going to be shown on July 21st.

I agree. CI got unbearable in its ultimas semanas. Nothing made sense in it.

Back to LQLVMR: Since Fabiola hates Monserrat now she might have her arrested. That could put Angelique out of a few episodes.

The sooner I have Silvia on my screen the better. Thanks for confirming that UA. I know they are filming, but didn't know if that production also was affected when SN lost her father. Such a sad time for some of these wonderful actors.

So plug on with our little Aqua gang.

Daisynjay

Nanette,

BM has had a ton of luck not getting caught hasn't she? But Graceless is on to her. So I don't know how much longer she can get away with her plans so to speak.

Urban:

That could be, about Monse being in the jail, but JL and Graceless sure wouldn't allow that. I don't think, as angry as JL is at Monse, he'd put her there, and I think Graceless would out BM in a heartbeat. They'd have to have Monse either do a runner, or something to explain her absence.

I didn't see the avances but I think it is much too early for anything to happen to JL. I am, however, worried for Macario. I'll be very upset if he is shot.

Rebecca:

I too think its too early for anything to happen to JL. I think he'll probably make it to the end of this TN. Those avances are sneaky things. They make you think one thing is about to happen, when it's really something else. I still think the only one that can take Peddy down is JL. He's been trying to do that this whole time, but now his mind is fixated elsewhere. Once he gets his act together, I think he will focus on that.

I doubt Montse is going to jail. Adolfo had a cleanup crew so no one will be the wiser about Sandro's death. They will probably think he just left, disappear etc.

Urban i wouldnt expect any less from that Harpie Fabiola...

Grand condolences to AB''s mother ,hopefully she will RIP ,why do good people always have to disappear ? Cancer should really be oblitirated from this Planet,it has no right to exist! I wouldnt wish cancer even on my worst enemy..

Anyway Maria needs urgent psychiatric assistance ,she is highly dangereous, the only reason why Adolfo does not speak up is because he knows that Pedro is threatening Maria ,Maria simply knows too much but either way she also cannot be walking free anymore,,

Obsession brings you nowhere,If i was Maria i would immediatly get the hell out of the Hacienda the moment Ale brought Monse to the Hacienda.I am sure Ale would freely give her the money to travel abroad and find a boyfriend there ,find a decent job but no her obsession with Ale has brought her so far that she completly wrecked her soul, her only motive being now revenge.

We also dont know if Maria had a copy of Joaquins note,if she has one that could be a clever tool to destroy Pedro.I dont think Maria would miss up on it to make a copy of the note in case it gets lost or destroyed.

Thanks Madelaine---So it's next month for Corazon. For some reason I thought it was this month, next Monday/Lunes. I guess that I'm trying to rush things along. I am so anxious for La Gata but for now--or in a few weeks I will be starting the new Corazon novela. I hope that Uni doesn't make us wait too long for La Gata. I already bought the La Gata theme song. I'm so ready for Maite y Daniel.
the gringo

When JL was throwing a pregnant Monse around I prepared my first tequila shot just in case someone said "Ale did it first" but alas, not today. Well, next time. Does JL really expects Ale and Monse to really be grateful forever? You did what you did now move one for Pete's sake. He is scary. When Ale was raging I used to roll my eyes a lot and I was never scared of him while JL terrifies me.
Romy

I think that by now Fab will keep her mouth shut but as long as she find out Gracies real intentions about her money probably she will join forces with Pedro for revenge and accuse Montse for Sandros murder.Of cource Joselo and Gracie will not allow this.Alejandro can give her alibi that she was with him and their child. Gracie will testify that Maria had reason killing Sandro for stealing the will and Joselo could tell that Maria once visited him in jail dressed like Montse.Dont forget also that Montse was wearing different clothes and her hair are more wavy. Her hair were like Marias wig 7 years ago in the telenovela.

You dont know what a real investigation is once you experience it for yourself,Anon they would keep drilling and drilling....There is no logical sense( But revenge) for Fab to open her mouth about Sandros murder, that why she did not call the police and chose to call Gracie instead and Gracie probably realized that if Fab would accuse Monse directly all chaos could occur and that is the exact reason why Gracie called Pedro to deal with the issue.

To summarize Fabiola is forced to keep her mouth shut and so are Gracie and Adolfo because they have aabsolute fear of Peddy and the authorities.

Graciela has no reason to keep quiet about Maria. At least none that she knows of.

Pedro would have no qualms about arresting Monse for Sandro's murder because it would bring Alejandro out of hiding. It would also incense JL (maybe) and Pedro hates him, too.

Carvivlie---Give it a chance. I have read a few short articles by Maite in which she stated that she really liked the story and is enjoying doing it. She also said that she really wanted the part and was glad to have gotten it. Anyway---rich boy meets poor girl,
I have to go with that and Maite Perroni, YES--YES--YES.

I have missed most of the story line but-----
Yes, I think Montse will get blamed for the murder--blonde wig the gringo

No she has one-the will. If Gracie already figured that Maria was the killer then she must have took the will too. If Gracie turns on Maria,Maria can easily show the will to Judge Esperon( The judge that was fed by BS by Peddy and Gracie 7 years ago) and laugh at them all. Peddy could easily take care of her before she gives the will though and because Adolfo and EZ were supposed to wipe her off he might off the two of them too for disloyalty.

Also after the report everyone would begin investigating Sandros mysterious dirty past which inludes Fabiola as well, yet an another reason to keep her mouth shut. And in La Escondida there must be a guard who has a list of guests ,Sandro visited it days ago ,that would lead directly to Maria. They would also reopen the Cervera case and the fraud Gracie,Peddy,Sandro and Fab commited against Ale.

It really doesnt take a genious to crack this case wide open ,the Marines and the Judge are really a bunch of slowpokes..

I wonder if that judge is even still alive.

Does Gracie even know that Pedro wanted Maria dead?

Maria has no reason to surrender the will to Gracie. She would also not be dumb enough to hide it in the same place.

How do we know that Fabiola won't get her nasty hands on that will before Gracie could even do anything with it?

1. No Gracie does not know that Peddy wants Maria dead, its irrelevant anyway
2 I didnt say Maria would give the will to Gracie but to give it to the Judge. It might be her rescue boat to get out of prison unless Gracie somehow gets the wig and the pistol from Maria which proves that Maria was the one who shot Monse years ago. And Maria follows the mentality " If you sink me,i sink you along as well"

I don't see her being able to get out of prison and stay out. However, I'm sure she'd like to see Pedro end up in prison.

JuliaR: Thanks for the recap. Lots of funnies.

So sorry to hear about Angelique’s mother.

So looking forward to SNs new one, but had hoped that I would be done with at least one of the two TN’s I’m watching before it started. So bummed about double DTQ2. Just got caught up from the previous doubles.

Nanette

Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for reading and for all the interesting comments. I'm always thrilled to know people enjoyed the recap, and I appreciate the kind words and love hearing everyone's ideas and opinions about the show.

I read about Angelique's mother today, too. It's very sad and must be devastating for their family. She was only 49.

I hope you are all doing well as we enter this final stage of our show. I think we're in for some great episodes in the next month.

My best to all!
Julia R.

Glad to see the discussion about what's coming up next because I was surprised to see the ads for Mi Corazon es Tuyo last night, when before they had been showing promos for La Gata (which began filming way before Corazon). I wonder why the change up? Since it seems that Uni is still trying to figure out what will be its late summer/fall lineup, I'm not going to put too much stock in those promos.

Sorry to hear about AB's mom. Yes, Silvia Navarro just experienced the same thing the other day losing her dad. These tn actors just seem to soldier on and continue with their grueling filming schedules, despite and health or personal issues.

Awesome recap! Thanks Julia. Carlos, sorry for your lose. Maria will be resting in hell soon. How dare she lets you down like this. JL is upset because during the role reversal, she refused to sleep with him. That's enough to make any man loco.

Can someone tell me more about Silvia Navarro's upcoming TN? I thought she was great in AB...

I appreciate the detailed recap as I missed the episode last night. Fue mi cumpleaños.

...."as the moll of the El Alacrán she did make the suggestion".

Is Fofo the Alacrán or is that simply the name of the Mafia group?

After all, that's what Pedo wears around his neck.

Plus Adolfo is a good cleaner but is he as good as Harvey Keitel was in Pulp Fiction?

Do we know definitely that part of the "cleaning up" included Adolfo and his men murdering the maid?

Meant to say "definitively"

Happy Birthday Oxnard Huero! Yes, Adolfo's nickname is el Alacran.

Carvivlie- We don't know for sure that the maid is dead, but it would be stupid for the cleaners to keep her alive.

Rebecca-SN is doing a comedy tn for the first time, Mi Corazon es Tuyo.
Her galan is Jorge Salinas- a widower with 7 kids who hires SN as a nanny. But by night, she's secretly a pole dancer. Kind of like a demented Sound of Music.

Hmmm...as BSC JL might murmur..... Sounds familiar ..."The Sound of Music South of the Border?" I just hope that Sylvia knows her way around a pole better than our problem Maria does.

Susanlynn- check this video out:http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0qMIHJXGrJE

Thanks Julia R, this recap is most excellent...Well done. I especially appreciate the great seriousness respect with which you treated this episode and the characters involved. I found this particularly apt:

" More enlightened now about the abundance of lodging options in Agua Azul and still determined to find Alejandro and Montserrat, José-Luis heads to that other motel."

What a bumbling doofus of a police chief.

As I see it, Maria currently holds the trump card (the original will). I'd think that this even may afford her a measure of insulation from Pedro who in no way wants it to appear. Since Graciela recently hitched her wagon to Alejandro (she stands to receive the entire inheritance if his legitimate claim is restored) it of course is to her advantage if it does.

I think Pedro's days of being the source of absolute fear for anyone is just about to expire. Right now María fears no one and Aldolfo is just about fed up with Pedro and seems poised to take over the entire operation.

Nanette,

right now I'm not sure what María's next move will be though I'm hoping that she will become benevolent and surrender the will to Alejandro and that she will get the opportunity to be the one to pop Pedro.

JL has simply become pathetic. Everything about him is now just pitiable. These days he is either roaring with rage or mewling helplessly, and I've begun to notice that he smiles with a lisp.

Carvivlie, I too think the maid is dead. When Adolfo asked if there were witnesses Fabs said only herself but Gracie outed the maid, to which Adolfo seemed to make some sort of facial gesture towards the direction of where the maid had gone and the goons went towards that area, I assume to kill her off.

By the way, happy b-day Oxnard!

Happy Birthday Oxnard.

I FF right through that SN TN ad. Bummer.

Carlos: From reading the recap, it seems like Maria might be regretting her actions.

Happy birthday Oxnard H! I hope you got one of those colorful sports jackets or maybe a self-driving Tundra as a b-day gift.

Hello all,

Wow, not only was his a powerful capitulo but it certainly brought out a lot of powerful memories and associations, for so many. My heart goes out to you who suffered yourselves or, suffered as a loved one suffered to free themselves from abuse. Your sharing and courage to free yourselves or them is inspiring.

I have to run, but wanted to say that I found the capitulos free on vimeo-- you can google Lo Que la vida (etc.) and vimeo and find that you can watch for free.

more later,
Rebecca
