TELEMUNDO Y MÁS: THE FRONT PAGE — week of October 27, 2014: Señora Acero, Los Miserables, etc.
Labels: acero, miserables, telemundo
The good Durans (Consuelo, Abel and Elena) go to the hospital looking for Lucha. Sor Milagros won't give them Lucha's address, but softie Amparo does.
Meanwhile, Lucha is at Deya's place having a joyful reunion with her father. Ignacio assumes that Roxanita is his granddaughter. Roxana begs Lucha not to tell him differently, at least not before she has found a place in his heart.
At Ignacio's urging, Lucha tells him her whole story -- from the beginning when someone (i.e. Lily) planted drugs in her school locker and she was arrested. They got Lucha out of jail but her mother wouldn't let her go back home. She said her dad agreed with her. Her dad says he would never have done such a thing. In fact, Fernanda told him Lucha had run away with that Pedro Morales guy. Lucha tells him about her eleven sad years in a Texas prison and how she used the time to learn English and train as a nurse. She tried to call him many many times. Lily or Fernanda would answer and say that Ignacio refused to talk to her. Why does her mother hate her so much?
Before Ignacio can answer, the doorbell rings. It's the good Duran clan who have come to join the party!
Lily goes to Deborah's hospital bed and tells her that César was having an affair with a certain blonde... Think. Who was it? She doesn't know, but if he weren't already dead, she'd kill him. Radamés is furious at Lily for upsetting his daughter, but he has to swallow his rage because Lily has El Diablo's man Anselmo backing her up.
Later Lily argues to El Diablo that they should track down the woman César was dating. She is the person most likely to have the flashdrive or lead them to it.
Daniel is surrounded by empty beer bottles. He gets testy when Dr. Carlos tries to sound him out about César's voicemail and Daniel's anger towards Lucía. He starts working on some tequila. He can't even consider the possibility of Lucha's innocence. He HATES Lucha and he doesn't want Carlos wearing his shrink hat around him.
Daniel asks Leon and Rodriguez to bring him César's file. Leon tells curious Genaro only that Daniel asked them to go to the office and do him a favor. When Leon and Rodriguez deliver the papers, Daniel ropes them into staying and listening to him think out loud about the case.
They study the scene of crime photos. Leon finds the L in blood. Daniel deduces that César was trying to spell out the name of his killer. The ballistics evidence leads them to conclude there were two gunmen. One had the initial "L" -- who could it be? And what was it that César wanted to tell him?
Carlos reflects that Lucha was right. If Daniel knew she was with César the day he was killed, he would lock her up and throw away the keys. And Carlos is convinced that Lucha is innocent. Even so, he feels that with his silence, he is being disloyal to Daniel.
Lucha tells the family that Roxanita isn't her biological child. She is in the process of adopting her. She turns down Ignacio's invitation to move back into the family home. She prefers staying with her good friend Deyanira rather than returning to a place where she was rejected.
Vicky, meanwhile, tries vainly to convince Fernanda that she owes Lucha an apology.
The Duran clan is on the verge of telling Lucha the truth (about her mother, I assume) when Ignacio has a little spell. His blood pressure is very high. Lucha wants to take him to the hospital but Elena convinces her to let them take him home. They will see one another the next day at César's funeral. (Lucha says she knew him slightly from the hospital.)
Radamés is vicious to Elena when she comes home late. Pablo lurks and listens. He won't let that bastard put a hand on her!
Abel and Consuelo bring their father back to his house. Vicky joins their Lucha está Libre party. Fernanda's appearance drains the joy out of the room.
The next morning:
Lucha explains to Roxanita that she is in black because César died. Roxanita remembers she took photos on his camera. (Uh oh). Deya takes Roxy to school.
Carlos shows up to talk to Lucha. He's decided it's not the moment to tell Daniel everything he knows about the day César died. He asks about her relationship with César. She explains that they were just friends. He was helping her with Roxanita's adoption.
Carlos says he is keeping silent for Daniel's sake. He feels responsible for César's death. He believes he should have been able to prevent it. The same thing happened when his mother died. He's in very bad shape. If he knew the truth, he couldn't act fairly. He's a ticking bomb right now.
The Sisters Amparo and Milagros call on Daniel, who has fallen asleep at his desk. They send him off to shower -- he stinks! -- and get dressed for the burial. The place is a mess. They start to tidy up a bit.
Ignacio, Vicky and Consuelo head off to the cemetery together. Fernanda wants to join them. Consuelo says it would be better if she went with Abel.
Sweaty greasy Gastón heads off for the burial, shaking off Nuria, who wants to come with him.
Carlos says that sooner or later he'll have to tell Daniel the truth. Lucha agrees even though she knows Daniel will believe the worst about her.
Deya returns from walking Roxy to school. She's delighted that Carlos is still there. She seems to be smitten with him. He takes his leave politely -- he has a lot of things to do.
Lily tells El Diablo they should go to César's burial separately.
They come to bury César:
Everyone is there -- the murderers, the hypocrites, the drama queens, the true mourners. Carlos tells Daniel he should say a few words about César. Daniel hates speeches. "Do it for Octavio," says Carlos.
Daniel hugs Octavio and tells him his father was proud of him. Then Daniel looks over his shoulder and glares at Lucha as she arrives with Deya. She and Deya sit with Ignacio.
Roxanita is happy to see her old friend Memin on the school playground. She warns him to watch out for the mean teacher who took her stuffed animal away. Where did she put it? Roxana tells him. Memin says "Give me five minutes" and heads out on a rescue mission.
Roque and Nuria arrive. Vicky and Consuelo seethe. Gastón squirms.
The mean teacher returns to her room just as Memin has retrieved the stuffed toy from her locked desk. He hides it behind his back. "What are you doing at my desk?"
Lily slinks in during the services. She sits beside Daniel and kisses his cheek.
El Diablo arrives with three of his goons. Daniel looks at them. Then he gets up and says he wants to say a few words:
"We're all here to say goodbye to you, César, because assassins ended your life too soon. " He looks in El Diablo's direction. "You won't be able to see your son graduate. You won't know your grandchildren. You won't have the love of the woman you deserve. This nation lost a great man, one of the few honest politicians, a man of law and ethics who dreamed of a better Mexico. And I lost my brother, my father, my great friend; but I swear by what I hold most sacred -- the memory of my parents and the life of your son -- that your murderers will pay for what they did. You will have justice, César."
Thanks, NovelaMaven. I completely forgot about the camera...more evidence against Lucha. Didn't Roxana take the pictuer while he was kissing her? If so whose going to believe her version that they were just friends.
And the L on the floor, I find it odd that Cesar wouldn't have written a G since Genaro, the corrupt cop, was standing right before him and shot the fatal bullet. But of course all roads must appear to lead to Lucha.
I'm sure the writers have a plan but the Nuria's actions (arguing with his wife, daughter, and showing up at a funeral) are too over the top.
Looks as though Deya has claimed Carlos. If so, she has a lot of self-improvement to do first. But first he'll need to help Lucha convince Daniel she's innocent. It bothers me that by not admitting that she was at the crime scene (to anyone other than Deya and Carlos) it appears that she's not taking it seriously. More than a few people will be angry (and probably assume she's guilty) when they find out the truth.
Also, Millan and Cesar left voice messages specifically stating that there's a corrupt cop yet there's been no discussion of who that could be.

happy days at the hospital are interrupted by Salva having another attack.
Arnulfo and Empanada lure Pepe (you're to old to call Pepito) away from school for a fun day racing go-carts, I think Pepe likes the good life, Arnulfo gets his gum and puts it in a baggy, and clever Pepe got the toy car before he leaves.
Elio is at a loss with a truck load of drugs, goes to see the local cartel boss, and being a cop gets the extra rough treatment, Quintanilla doesn't want any problems, won't buy the stolen drugs, dumps Elio out on the street from the moving car, near where they picked him up, who then takes a call from Patricia.
Juan in jail, the lawyer says his case is tough, Juan throws out options, (threaten Miriam so she won't testify), but if you have the money, I can get you out on bail in 2 or 3 days.
Carlota packs for her trip to meet Sara at the hospital for some tests, Berta gets wise and locks her in her room, and as the new Presidente Municipal de Tijuana, she gives orders that no one is to leave, including her mother, later as Carlota escapes through the window she is stopped by the head guy who alerts Berta, as Carlota pleads, Berta says that Salvador is paying for Sara's sins, and what are you paying for Carlota asks, Josefina looks surprised (as always).
Grampa judge visits, did you already open your presents he asks Patricia, no, my mom did to clean them so I wouldn't get dirty, and later she complains of a headache, because her mom made her hair too tight,
Grampa gets on Vanesa, he's worried for Patricia, if the truth had come to light you would have never seen Elio again. (there is a flashback discovering Angel's body, what have you done to your own child)
when Grampa says goodbye, Patricia says she is used to her mother being like 2 people in one, when he leaves she calls Elio, asks him about his other family, he says we have to talk, but not on the phone.
Indio meets Cortez at the scene of the hijacking, he wants his truck, Rufino is watching from afar, the truck gps was discarded, he knew what he was doing, but the truck has to be within 5 miles, we'll find it Cortez says.
later we see Indio talking to his boss, yes we found everything... he took the bait... from now on we will do things your way... we know his name, he's Sara's boyfriend... compared to Acero he will be a piece of cake... (the phone goes dead)
Elio meets with Rufino who lets him know he was right, and the drugs belong to Indio, he advises Elio to run, now.
Arnulfo who doesn't want problems, gets Pepe back to school, but Sara got there first to pick him up and... Pepe does show up with excuses.
Elio shows up at Sara's place, she is ready to go, his face is beat up, and no, he doesn't have the money... she wants the truth, he explains, call up the man, she says, no man has ever turned me down, I'll sell him the goods...
Berta decides to send her mom to jail, when Felipe arrives, has to explain the finer points of politics, you don't send your mother who wants to donate a kidney to save her grandson to jail, duh, (then whispers, you can get revenge later), and tells the driver to take Carlota anywhere she wants.
Vanesa, leaving her house meets Indio and the boys at the door, and you are, tell Elio I'm looking for him, (she calls Elio but he doesn't answer), then later at the hospital she tells the nurse she is from the...a... Angel Flores Foundation, a possible donation, and wants info on Salvador.
Rufino continues his investigation on Juan.
Arnulfo gets a paternity test with Pepe's gum, results tomorrow.
Cornelia stops by the beauty shop, it's closed and maybe for sale.
Elio tries to talk Sara out of meeting with Quintanilla, mentions that the drugs belong to Indio, Aracely helps Sara gets dressed for the meet, dazzles Elio, but he comes to his senses and tries to get her to drop the idea, but Sara and Aracely double team him, he makes the call, Quintanilla (who is this guy) has heard of Señora Acero, they'll meet for dinner.
crazy Berta sends her guy out to get lots of gasoline, she decides to burn the rancho, it has too many bad memories. (do we ever want to see Berta and Vanesa have a girls night out)
Quitanilla's guys secure the restaurant, shooting out all of the security cameras and collecting everyone's cell phones, while asking for the best table, Quintanilla walks in and orders champagne for everyone, Sara arrives and enters, Elio waits outside with his gun. (who are being followed by the mad bombers)
[Not exactly a recap. More of an insomniac's ramblings.]
Let's look at what is happening to each character in this episode in the aftermath of César's death:
Daniel is angry and bitter, blind-sided by his grief and guilt over losing his brother. He tries to comfort Octavio and fails. Octavio says his father was never there for him because his job always came first, and his Uncle Daniel is the same way. Lucha would like to reach out to Daniel, but he won't even talk to her.
Daniel's professional judgment right now is impaired, and he's probably the last person who should be in charge of the investigation of César's death; but he is obsessed with finding his brother's killers and bringing them to justice.
Corrupt Cop Genaro continues to lurk and spy. It is precisely Genaro who helps Daniel search through César's things for a clue to his murderer. Genaro finds a receipt from a florist. Who did César send flowers to? Maybe this will lead the killers to the woman who has the flash drive.
Octavio's reaction to César's murder is a lot like Daniel's (though unlike Daniel, of course, Octavio actually IS an adolescent). It is a mixture of guilt (his father wouldn't have been at the beach house if it weren't for Octavio) and violent striking out (He drives recklessly, endangering himself and Vicky, and then gets into a fist fight with another driver. Vicky ends up with a black eye when Octavio's fist hits her instead of its intended target).
Deborah tries to play tragedy queen, but her crown keeps slipping. She is useless and repulsive, a black widow indeed.
Vicky is growing up very fast. She gets it that Octavio is hurting. She'll support him, but she won't be his punching bag. (She's not like her mother Chelo, who allowed Gaston to abuse her and Vicky for years.) She seeks out Aunt Lucha and tells her about Octavio, letting her see the shiner for herself. She also lets slip THE TRUTH -- Fernanda is not Lucha's mother!
Lucha is shocked and hurt by Vicky's revelation about her mother. After making sure that Ignacio's heart can take it -- his blood pressure is fine, he has taken his pill -- she confronts him and demands the truth. He tells her the story of his great love for Lucha's mother Isabel: how Fernanda contrived to separate them and he ended up marrying her instead of Isabel; how he and Isabel found each other a few years later and Isabel got pregnant with Ignacio's child; how Isabel died in childbirth and Lucha was taken in to be raised as just another of the children of Ignacio and Fernanda. He gives her a treasure he has guarded for years: a photo of Isabel.
Lucha's childhood finally makes sense to her. Now she understands why her mother always hated her. It would have been so much easier if she had known the truth from the beginning. She reproaches not just Ignacio for his silence, but also her siblings for never coming to her defense.
Fernanda continues to play the victim. She's hurt at Ignacio's treatment, but feels she is not at fault. She is so tormented that she goes to confession for the first time in ages; and she leaves without absolution because she feels no remorse for hating Lucha.
Lily continues to rub Radames's nose in her new status and wealth as El Diablo's woman. She offers to get close to Daniel and be El Diablo's spy. Daniel, however, rejects her offer to "help" him. In fact, he even wonders aloud if the bloody "L" at the crime scene might stand for "Liliana."
Lily, as Fernanda's only ally in the family, gets an earful from Lucha for her role in making her life miserable.
El Diablo gets a chance to meet Lucha and learns she's Lily's sister. He provokes Lily with his open admiration of Lucha's beauty.
Both El Diablo and Radamés noticed how Daniel stared pointedly at them at César's burial. El Diablo wants to get rid of Daniel. Radamés urges restraint -- there would be huge repercussions for the killing of a top level police official.
Elena finally gives in to her feelings for Pablo after he tells her he KNOWS that her husband abuses her.
Nuria and Roque were enjoying themselves, gawking at all the big shots who had come to bury César. But when they spotted Lucha among the mourners, they scuttled away like roaches fleeing from the light. (They are still wanted for kidnapping Roxana.) Now they are back in Gaston's house and he is laying down the law: no freeloaders in his house. He plans to get Roque a job at the hotel, something even a person of diminished mental capacity can do.
Dr. Carlos agrees to do volunteer psych clinics at the hospital. The Sisters have been begging him to take on this task for such a long time. What's he up to that makes him want to do it now?
Roxanita gets back her stuffed toy (with the concealed flashdrive) when Memin 'liberates' it from the mean teacher's desk and then outruns her.
What am I forgetting?
Anon Gringa
Anon Gringa, thank you very much for your comments about Monday and Tuesday's little wrap-ups. It's so nice to know you are out there reading, watching, and chiming in from time to time.
Spanish student, you're right about the photo Roxana took -- it was when César was at his least likeable, forcing a kiss on Lucha even after she had made it clear over and over that she had no romantic interest in him. The photo, of course, will give no hint of that reality. It will be just one more piece of damning evidence against Lucha. As you say about the "L" -- "All roads must appear to lead to Lucha."
And yes, Deya has a long way to go. But look at how the Texas Penal System and Finishing School turned Lucha's life around! :D
what a great recap NovelaMaven!
and in such an interesting format,
that just flowed from one character to next.
for such an intense drama, twice I laughed,
the first was when Daniel was running off possible L names as César's murderer and came to 'Liliana' (Aylín Mújica did one of the greatest GULPS I've ever seen)
and the second was after Lucha's long discussion with Vicky on domestic violence and later the tremendous slap she laid on Lily, hit her again, harder this time.
and wow, after so many tortured Radamés' years, in the gardener's little love shack, Helena just melted into Pablo's arms.
Tks Novela Maven
I still have a problem with the characters & your recap helped a lot.
Sra. Acero
Muchas gracias deb for your continuing great recaps.
You're welcome, Variopinta!
Thanks so much Deb! The irony of Lucha's slapping Lily sailed right past me. Of course when the 'slapee' is someone like Lily, it's more of an animal rights issue than it is domestic violence per se. :D
Thanks, NovelaMaven. I’m no longer using the English subtitles so this filled in a lot of blanks.
Personally I didn’t like that Daniel initially refused to make a statement at the funeral. You’re right, he acting more like a child than a respected officer. I also find it hard to sympathize with Lucha. When she looked at him expecting something in return, all I could think about was the information she’s withholding (she doesn’t know that false evidence is building against her).
Now that Carlos has decided to work in the hospital, I think he’ll develop feelings for her (not Deya).
When Genaro found the invoice my first thought was that that’s the last place you’ll typically find it. His secretary ordered the flowers and would have filed the invoice.
I enjoyed the scene with Fernanda and Lucha. Fernanda would not budge from her position and Lucha was empowered by truth. She’s wants to know more about her mother.,.I wonder what she’ll uncover. Fernanda stated multiple times that Isabel was the betrayer (and she was), but if they really were friends it seems Fernanda betrayed her first.
I’m wondering what Roque will get into or discover while working at the hotel.
I have little faith that the flash drive will be discovered by the right people ...at least not anytime soon.
And yes, the best part was watching repressed Elena embrace Pablo without hesitation.
Sra Acero
Thanks, Deb. For a moment I was surprised that Felipe was siding with Carlota until he whispered in Berta’s ear about postponing the revenge. She’s the mayor but I haven’t seen her do any work other than burning down the house.
Let’s hope one of the hospital employees mentions the supposed donor to Sara. We already know Vanessa’s capable of hurting a child.
It was a little odd that Arnulfo is getting a paternity test when his original plan was to just kidnap Pepe.
And that Quintanilla character… Is he supposed to be one of the typical gringo narcotraficantes?
spanish student
"Now that Carlos has decided to work in the hospital, I think he’ll develop feelings for her (not Deya)."
Sigh. Yes. It's Deya's role to drool on the sidelines at Lucha's suitors. [They could have called the story "Everyone loves Lucha...or is pathologically obsessed with or jealous of her" but it wasn't as catchy as "Los Miz"] Let's hope she continues to be a good loser...
Miriam brings Pepe home, scolding him for not being at school, he's just blowing the whole thing off so she looks in his back pack finding the toy car (that Arnulfo gave him), what's this?
Empanada arrives, and as Miriam follows Pepe into the bedroom for some answers, he retrieves a key that Juan had hidden above the door.
Miriam is frustrated so Empanada goes to talk to Pepe as Rufino appears at the door, he has Juan's phone records but Miriam doesn't recognize any of the numbers, and the only one she could think of in the U.S. is Arnulfo who she hasn't heard from in ten years, Empanada is around the corner listening.
Sara goes into the restaurant, (almost followed by the two bombers, sorry, but the restaurant is closed, private party, all reservations are canceled) and meets with Quintanilla, they chat, he doesn't want the coke, (or problems with Indio) but he likes Sara, he wants her to work for him, he'll get her a ½ million dollars, she leaves and Elio is not liking this, what kid of work?
Quintanilla graciously gives the restaurant $10,000, paying for everyone and everything, and then some.
Cornelia visits Aracely, who is on watch at the hospital, the beauty shop is for sale, she wants them to buy it, talk to Sara.
Patricia isn't feeling well, her mom makes her eat anyway, later she doesn't wake up, Vanesa doesn't seemed too concerned until Elio arrives, then freaks, he calls for a doctor who says she is just dehydrated, Patricia says don't leave me, so Elio stays with her.
Sara at the hospital tells Aracely about the dinner and later a nurse fills them in on the visit from a lady from a foundation, what?, they both figure it's Elio's wife.
Salvador wakes up, asks where Elio is.
hmm, no money, no Carlota, no Elio, and Sara has changed clothes somehow, but she hugs Aracely good bye and climbs into Salavador's ambulance for the ride to the airport, and is followed by the bombers.
at the airport the bombers are getting worried, Chayo calls Enriqueta, who has the phone hidden in her..., Cruz tells her to answer before she has an orgasm, Chayo says it's an emergency, Enriqueta says Sara must pay, but it's an airport oh well, Chayo and Lalo go open the trunk of their car and it's full of... not sure, are those guns, pipe bombs...
J desde NYC, thanks so much for your nice words about Tuesday's recap. And I did get a good night's sleep last night (although I didn't get to watch Wednesday's Los Mis and probably won't catch up until the weekend).
it was an interesting conversation between Sara and Miguel Quintanilla, he doesn't like to kill people, (and a lot of people would die if he bought Indio's cocaine) he likes to keep a low profile (famous people in this business die young), and the time when he needs to beg a girl to sleep with him has long past, but there was something about Sara he liked, he'll lend her the money and then she can work for him to pay it back, and as Sara later described him to Aracely, the money didn't seem to be important, he seems to do things for power and respect.
ah, Patricia didn't want to eat because, "everytime you give me this soup, I feel sick".
according to the doctor, Angel (Patricia's twin brother) died of 'sudden death syndrome'.
and Elio is supposed to meet Sara at the airport, the money was arranged by a phone call we didn't see.
Enriqueta wants Sara killed before she gets away, and the bombers have already spent the money she gave them, it was Lalo's guns in the car trunk.
Ayy Daniel, please don't do anything with Lily. It might make me not nice for wanting this, but since I am a tn drama junkie, I want Lily's favor to be that Daniel accompany her to the Abel/Adrianna engagement celebration just to see how it all goes down. But I am worried about what Lily has planned for Roxanne.
I know it might be just me not wanting to see the writing on the wall, but I'm still thinking (wildly hoping) that Carlos won't fall for Lucha. But he does make a nice credible ally. I do wonder at what his helping out at the hospital will result in. Maybe now that it seems like Deya will be his secretary/assistant love will bloom.
Poor Adrianna. Did not see Abel turning out to be gay, if the significant looks with the hospital doctor are to be believed. Although I did wonder about the doctor having more of a story line, just because it seemed like he was getting random screen time.
Sister Amparo is sooo considerate with Lucha's work schedule. Isn't she embarrassed for always having to leave for a personal crisis at a job she just started?
jlk
Elio stays with sick Patricia, takes a call from Sara and explains, Vanesa listens.
Sara's ready to hop on the plane, sees the bombers, Indio she thinks and runs, Lalo catches her and they fight and roll, Chayo (not sure on her name) shoots but hits Lalo, and Sara jumps up with a gun and it's a standoff, Sara gives in, but throws her gun, causing Chayo to jump, into a jet engine, but it's not Sara's plane, so she can still leave.
Elio is busy selling his hijack truck full of drugs.
DNA results show Pepe is Arnulfo's son.
Enriqueta and Cruz see the bomber's death on the tv news.
Juan's one or two days in jail turns into months.
Berta actually goes to work as mayor, and is hounded by Felipe and the press about burning Rancho Acero, no comment.
Arnulfo meets with Quintanilla, he'll take charge of a section of L.A.
Pepe is ditching school to hang out with Arnulfo.
Aracely and Miriam are back working in the shop with Cornelia.
and the kidney operation is, is, is... Carlota looks terrible but Salvador is jumping around.
*months later*
Rufino shows Miriam records that Juan was calling Arnulfo.
Indio gets a delivery (so those white things he eats like apples are onions), it's Elio with a truck load of money, $3,000,000, Indio is impressed, you're hired, what? says Elio.
and Sara meets with Quintanilla, and learns once you are in the business you never leave, he wants her to launder money, she gave her word, she'll do it.
Thanks so much for the yeoman's work.
You make it possible for these shows to make any sense when I actually get to watch an episode.
Without your context it would be so frustrating that I doubt I'd watch at all.
Chris in FL
Thanks, JLK, for your comment. I suspected Abel was gay a while ago, but at one point I also thought that it was just the actor. Unlike most men in telenovelas (often written for women), there’s no sign of passion towards Andrianna. He's definitely more like a friend or brother, and I suspect that his father knows as he didn't appear too happy about the engagement.
Daniel gave Lilly a strange look at the end of the show. He seems to be rejecting her, so I'm guessing that he's testing her since he wasn't happy with the lead she gave him.
I also hope she doesn't do anything to hurt Roxana.
Oleg, on the other hand, is really turning out to be a devil. First he slapped Lilly’s mom on the bottom then he suggested that they all hook up. And now he wants her sister. It’ll be interesting to see which one of them blames Lucha for the murder (Lilly out of jealousy of Oleg if she rejects him).
Spanish student
Telemundo is being quiet about this one and not much in wiki but IMdB has a pretty good cast list, and I was happy to see Tony Dalton on it (the bad boy that Flor Salvaje fell in love with)
I'm guessing it will follow Señora Acero (wiki has it listed at 65 episodes) shortly after new years.
