Mi Corazon es tuyo #102 10 Dec 2014. Fernando asks kids (through Nando) for help to get Ana back. Edith has a plan to get with Nando. Manuela returns to the mansion. And Isa finds out Fernando is looking for Ana's mom.
Nando/Fanny … thank you for your declaration of love but I have a gf. … hashtag.. between the two of us… yes Fanny, I do like her. (Edith is jumping for joy in the hallway)
Alicia and Pablo…
Edith/Fanny
Ana and Pablo/Alicia
Lo Nuevo:
Fernando tells Diego he dreams of the day Diego tells him he has finally forgiven him.
Natalia comes in with food. Fernando leaves.
Fanny surprised about Edith’s right to the point style. Nando did not expect this.
Alicia and Pablo… he adventures himself to hold her hand, she sighs in delight. They are caught by Fernando, but he is too busy looking for Ana.
In kitchen, Fernando catches up with Ana. He nags at her for leaving Alicia and Pablo alone. ‘don’t lose sight of them for a second’ / ‘how about I sit between the two of them?... did you ever have a gf as a teen?
Pablo and Alicia thank Ana for helping them get together… she does not realize Fernando is behind her and says ‘he sometimes has ideas… from last century.’ (Fernando nags at her some more after hearing that) don’t go get drinks, don’t go potty, don’t even blink…
Edith comes to Fanny and Nando. He feels he and Edith are sort of opposites (ever hear about opposites attract, boy?) She is a bit … extreme… and you are so normal?... ok I admit it we are both rare extremes. Edith is real smart. We have many subjects to talk about. But she is a bit punk style and that is far different from mine. (Fernando catches Edith eavesdropping on them so she has to walk away) Fernando comes in and tells them Edith seemed to be eavesdropping. Nando gets real nervous. Asks what did Edith say. Fanny runs to find Edith. Fernando can see something is odd.
Nico feels faint. Jen catches him as he wobbles out of bed. He is a bit irritated that she tries to hold his hand for everything. He does not want her as his nurse for the rest of his life. (she stays there crying while he goes to bathroom alone).
At wrestling rings, it turns out the promoter for the club Johnny was trying to practice with is none other than Ino-Doro. (Johnny’s stagename is steel fists). Ino-Doro has heard Johnny used to fight in Ecatepec and tells Johnny he wants him to fight for him (so Ino-doro will get the proceeds to ‘pay Johnny’s loan’).
Nico comes out of bathroom and apologizes to Jen. He still feels the same way, she does not want to talk about it. She walks away upset (boy she has at least 7 inch heels on those platform pumps) The younger kids (4) come in and say they missed grandpa and want to play with him. Jen is too upset to stay around so she walks away after promising she will come right back to play with them.
Edith miffed about what Fanny told her about her ‘extreme style’. Edith claims they are in the highest burguese society… and she used to live on the streets. Fanny does not want to argue on Nando’s sake. Edith has a plan, she loves just thinking about it. She makes Fanny promise not to tell about it. Fanny surprised at hearing Edith’s plan. She loves it though. Edith promises Nando won’t figure it out at all.
Isa at office. She was on phone with someone. Suddenly she feels the baby move (?) she calls her mom, who is under an umbrella with Ramona (she calls her Romula, then Remula several times) fanning her while she has a huge tray of shrimp and appetizers and drinks a Margarita. YoMama basically ignores Isa’s delight at the baby moving and hangs up on her…
At hospital, Bruno is having nurses take care of Manuela, whose silver face paint is starting to peel off. Seems he brought her to the little kids hospital since the nurse calls him by name very informally. Manuela wakes up and asks what she is doing there, but does know Bruno by name.
Jen cries, Sebas runs by her and invites her to play. She continues to cry.
Diego asks Natalia what changed for her to love life again after her dad died. She says when she found him. (Diego).
Pablo and Alicia… he confesses he does not know how to kiss. They give it a try but bump foreheads before they even touch lips. We see a heart build as they barely touch. Then it gets broken up by Jen who is coming downstairs upset. Alicia presents her to Pablo. Jen notices Ana has fallen asleep. Jen wakes Ana up who startles with a shout (what’s new?). Ana says she is watching… Jen says yeah right.
Fernando and Nando. Fernando surprised they always end up talking about Fernando. Nando is going to tell Ximena they should break it up at least until she is recovered. Fernando says it’s your choice and you need to face the consequences. Fernando wants to talk Edith. Nando wants to talk Ana. Nando makes Fernando confess he loves Ana more than ever now. Fernando has to close the cycle with Isa and with Diego’s recovery. His perfect future would be if Ana forgives him, they are together with the family. He will fight for that. To regain her love. He is completely certain he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. But it is Ana who must decide. Nando says he is no one to judge anyone. But when love is the target, any hopes are valid. Fernando says there is just one problem, maybe she won’t forgive him.
Ana and Fanny. Fanny asks why the texting if they are at home. Ana says she can’t leave her guard spot. Ana leaves Fanny with the ‘lovebirds’ (tortolitos). Ana takes Jen to talk to her in the kitchen.
Jen tells Ana Nico insists on not wanting Jen to be by his side.
Nico and the kids are playing monopoly or some version of it with countries instead of real estate. Nico is broke, can’t pay Luz. Twins want to loan him money but he would have to give them the airlines… Nico wants to offer a hug but the boys want some property.
The nurse tells Bruno that Manuela’s vitals are good. She can go home now. Bruno asks Manuela if she remembers what happened. She is more out there (in the enlightened community of the present suns) than here and now. Bruno says its more UFOs. Bruno tells Manuela her mother told him where she was. He wants her to come back to the mansion.
Jen tells Ana its just everything piling up. The heart attack, the days in the hospital, his insistence in her not ‘waiting’ on him. She doesn’t know what to do anymore. Ana gives her a conforting hug.
Fernando asks Nando if he thinks Ana will forgive him. Nando says all we know is Ana has never stopped loving you. Fernando asks him (and his siblings) for help in reconquering Ana. Would you all help me?
We come back from commercial, Jen is STILL whining her blues to Ana. The worst is Nico doesn’t love her anymore… Ana says no way, he just wants you to be happy. Jen says look how happy I am now. Ana says the surgery probably even affected his brains. Soon he will clear up his thoughts. Give him time. Jen thanks her. Love you.
Nando says all siblings will be happy, no doubt about it. What can I do personally? Well, first you can support me. How? Fernando asks Nando to talk to Ana, to find out if she thinks about him often, if she dreams of him… etc.
Bruno and Manuela. Manuela smiles a bit when she learns about Johnny in the kitchen. Will Fernando be ok with my return? Bruno notices Manuela now speaks sotly, slowly. She says now she speaks with softness, with love. She is now aligned with the Sun and Pluto. But between us there is no and there will be no romantic link. Bruno claims he is there for Fernando and the kids… and even for Siete.
Manuela swings her arms and a green light beams down on her. Bruno is shocked. She is asking for authorization to ‘return’. The light goes away and she says ‘I accept’. Bruno loves it. But Manuela asks him to avoid physical contact with her. We now practice cosmic chastity.
Pablo and Alicia realize they love the group Sincope. Fernando comes down. Asking about Ana. Alicia tells him Fanny is watching them. Yeah right, says Fernando. Fernando says its time Pablo heads home. Fernando walks Pablo to the door. Pablo thanks him. Alicia waves and blows a kiss goodbye to him.
Alicia asks Fanny to teach her to kiss. Fernando is shocked about Fanny’s show and tell with her hand to Alicia. He walks toward them… Fernando will talk to Fanny later. (he is not amused with the show and tell, of course).
Johnny is practicing his fighting. (boxing or ufc? Seems like boxing now). Inodoro uses the same phrase Ana did a while back ‘we’ll see what side the iguana chews from’. Johnny gets in the ring with a guy who is a bit heavier than him. Johnny dances around, the guy does his Russian dance steps as well. Johnny gets one punch and starts seeing birdies flying over his head and comes down for the count like timber. Edna and InoDoro try to wake him up.
YoMama is talking to Ramona wondering what is wrong with her daughter. Isa has behaved badly to her after YoMama got her through Harvard. Then Isa made one mistake after another. Now she says she will work to get her money. And pregnant she will not catch any rich guy. She is no dumb, she just has a nasty character/personality. Then YoMama and Ramona talk about the ozone in the environment damaging the skin.
The twins are trying to eat some ‘sopes’ (are these the desert fried tortillas that usually have honey and cinnamon sprinkled on?)… but Johnny put both sweet stuff and refried beans on them. The kids won’t eat it. Suddenly Manuela makes her entrance and Ana and the kids are elated to see her again.
Ana asks Bruno whats up with Manuela, who seems a bit cloudy in her acting. Edna and Johnny wonder what is wrong with Manuela. Bruno tells Ana about the ‘ovni-present’ sect (present UFOs). Bruno tells Ana that that sect believes humans were created by extra-terrestrial scientists. Ana gets scared.
Door rings. It is Isa. Isa wants Ana to announce her to Fernando. Ana notices the stains in her face. Isa continues to ask for Fernando irritated. Isa overhears Fernando on the phone asking some woman about Soledad Fuentes. Fernando tries to avoid telling Isa any details but Isa manages to send him away to get her some coffee… so Isa looks at his papers on his desk so Isa figures out that Soledad is Ana’s mom.
Previews: Ana won’t give up to find her mom. Her mom dreams the same. But neither knows a poisonous snake is targeting them. Isa has a plan to use Soledad to destroy Ana (la nanaca).

Anyway, the funniest parts for me were Yolanda sunning herself with Ramona on fan duty.
In second place, I liked Ana sticking it to Isabela saying that her "paño" was becoming more noticeable and growling at her along with Siete.
The guy cleaning the La Costeña sign was at least as interesting as the rest of the episode. It was a real yawner.

My guess on Edith's plan: she scrubs her face, cuts her hair and dresses like a "normal" girl...and Nando doesn't recognize her. Ha! So I'm seeing a pattern about new identities and society's expectations: Ana of course and her dual jobs; Edith disguised as a goth to cover the pain from her past; Manuela seeking a whole new lifestyle; Jennifer fighting Nico's prejudice about their age difference.

I laughed out loud when Johnny shook his booty at his opponent. I guess I'm not that opposed to physical humor.

My guess to on Edith is a makeover...we know it's coming at some point. I may be more excited to see how that comes out than anything to do with Fer and Ana.
Do we need so much Alicia and Pablo? I guess they are for the tween viewers. But how old is Alicia again? I thought she was 15--that seems a little old to have a chaperone watching her every move in the LIVING ROOM of the house. I know Fer's rules...
Nico needs a good slap up the head. No excuse for treating Jen like garbage even if it's his idea of doing her a favor. Jerk
Manuela and aliens? Really. This is what the writers are going for now? Oi
Daisynjay
So Nic chases Jenny gets her to marry him and now decides to throw her back. I've never liked that selfish old man. He believes women are things to be desired, acquired, traded or discarded after use.
Looks like Yolanda will ultimately tell all to Ramona, I wonder what she will do with the information.
News flash for Fernando, the kids have already been trying to put he and Ana together.
As for Yomama and Ramona, I am continually offended that Yomama refuses to get Ramona's name correct. This says that she regards Ramona as a non-entity. She may spill the beans ultimately, but what Ramona does with the information might depend on what it is and how desperately she needs this job.
A few times it has run through my mind Ramona is a plant, but for whom?
It seems like not much new, just the usual craziness of the household and the return of a cultist! I am hoping that as Manuela gets used to being back in her kitchen she returns to something like normal.
I think the idea of a dog biting anyone is bad but I have to laugh at Ana's reversal of the experience, making Siete the victim of Isabela. I got a good chuckle out of her reminding him of what happened to his teeth when he bit Isabela the last time. I hope that the various predictions that Siete will prevail come true.
OT: I have become addicted to a series of historical novelas from Spain that are available on line (RTVE.es). I fell in love with Spain a few years ago and am fascinated by its history. I have mentioned before a very long one, Amar en tiempos revueltos, about the Spanish Civil War. It is excellent but each year, with a different cast of characters, is over 200 episodes. I have discovered a couple of shorter ones that I have really enjoyed. El tiempo entre costuras (The Time In Between) is about 20 episodes and was a huge hit in Spain. It's about a woman living in both Spain and Morocco during WWII and is now on Hulu. La Senora, about a mining community in the 20s, is a great romance of about 70 episodes. I am gearing up to watch Isabel, la Reina, another Spanish favorite and fewer than 100 episodes. I still love the Mexican novelas, but it is fun to see another style of telenovela. I can't claim that they are necessarily better, just different (a bit less melodramatic, maybe). Interestingly, this Spanish TV channel that provides these novelas on-line also broadcasts many of the Mexican novelas that we watch from Televisa.
Ramona as a plant... Enfrique? Doroteo? Who else would need anyone to spy on the brujas and who knows of their evil?
Maybe Bruno will surprise us. He seems to be exaggerating his stutter and other awkwardness lately. This could be a master plan of his.
I'm looking forward to seeing what Edith has planned. She really is a fascinating character. It had never occurred to me that her exotic look was actually a protective mask. It'll be interesting to see what changes she can actually make if indeed she is planning to reveal what lies beneath that defensive facade. I presume that the tattoos are not easily removable.
Fernando's solicitation of Nando to lobby on his behalf with Ana seems to be something just a bit immature for a grown man to be doing... perhaps more in line with what someone Alicia's age might utilize.
Has anyone else noticed that Yolanda's margaritas sometimes have olives in them? Not exactly how I'd like my margarita... otherwise they are beautiful.

J in Oregon - I love your recognition of the new-identity patterns.
I cannot wait to see Edith's makeover!
Isabruja's reaction to her baby's movement suggests she may not be beyond redemption. Her excitement reveals a budding maternal instinct, at least.
Do you think Fer planted Ramona? Didn't he hire her?
I never thought of Ramona as a plant, but I could see her easily tattling on Isa if asked by the right people. As for Isa, hope that little boy was giving her a good kick in the ribs for being such a bruja mother. Lets hope for a future soccer player who will keep her up all night practicing!
Daisynjay
I was surprised that Isa was happy when the baby kicked. Could she actually have feelings for someone other than herself? Would be a shocker!
I'm embarrassed to admit but I enjoyed Jonnys dancing in the ring.
Edith shouldn't change to get Nando to like her. She should wait for him to love and accept as is.
I thought this epi was mostly dullsville but with a few bright spots.
My favorite was Yola making Ramona fan her while "sunning" herself under an umbrella on a cloudy day on a very windy terrace. And then complaining that Ramona wasn't fanning sufficiently! How much of a brisk gale does she need?
Manuela should have hooked up with Discua's Seres de Luz instead. At least she wouldn't be torturing her skin with silver makeup. Those people were weird and their song was annoying, but they were basically sweet at least.
Speaking of, I hope Edith doesn't completely change herself to try to get Nando. I think she should wash off the makeup just for the sake of her poor skin and eyes, but Nando could stand to be less superficial. He already likes her, and like she said, "it's not like HIS style is so cool!" Maybe she will give him a punk makeover instead so he can try it out for fun.
Maybe Enreeky could get the job polishing the sign and the janitor can be the new presidente. Reeky certainly has enough hulk rage to effectively scrub things.
Was hoping Johnny would be comatose offscreen for the duration.
I, too, think Edith is about to have a makeover. I wish her tats weren't so elaborate, then I could buy them being temporary. I suppose they could still be temporary--don't know much about the tat world. At least Nando does like Edith. She might just have been waiting for the right guy to remove her mask for.
UA: agree that it is insulting for Yolanda to continue to call Ramona anything but "Ramona". Not surprising though, that is her schtick.
Isa has shown signs before that she might care for the baby. Of course, there was that time she cursed her/him, too.
Nanette
Kind of thought the Reeky/Isa opera scene was funny. Reeky is definitely going around the bend.
I recapped a couple of weeks ago that Edith said she would be open for a makeover, so I'm sure that she's planning that. And I also think that Nando in turn will have his own makeover, though not as elaborate. Lose the tie, the glasses, and the hair grease.
Julia: love your idea. Love the 60s mod look.
Carlos
Jennys deserves better but NOT JOHNNY!
