Mi corazon es tuyo, #137 That's why presents always need to be wrapped

Hello, everybody. I'm going to keep this short, because I'm feeling a little bit under the weather and as I was writing the recap I realized it made much more sense in my head if I cut out some of the continued silliness. I hope I haven't forgotten something important, but feel free to add whatever you think necessary in the comments.

Refrito : Ximena/ Nando/ Edith triangle

Magda/ Angel/ Ana (who has no clue) triangle

Isa & Johnny (who has no clue, either, but loves the attention)

The new stuff:
We begin with a musical number: Sebastian is singing for Sarai, while all his siblings and most of the young cast (+ Manuela) dance – Luz is totally adorable and Nando is totally hot with his normal hair.

Johnny & Isa
She asks him to come to her place because she has a leak … in the bathroom. He is a little bit surprised, but he’s happy to do the job for the money.
Before he arrives, Isa causes a huge mess in the bathroom, by hitting the faucet with a hammer. The maid, Ramona, arrives just in time to witness the whole thing, which Yolanda hilariously calls one of the Chabelaventuras (Isabela’s Adventures).
Johnny arrives and sure enough, Ramona looks smitten with him, too. He gets himself soaked in the bathroom and almost slips on the wet floor. Isabela keeps him from falling, they embrace in the middle of the watery mess, with Yolanda and Ramona looking on. She is totally turned on and Jonny seems to be quite receptive to her charms, too. He turns off the main water source and fixes the faucet. He realizes that Isabela broke it with a hammer and asks her why she did that, but she obviously has no answer. After Johnny leaves, Isabela is furious with Yolanda because the plan didn’t work.

Angel & Marta
Angel explains that he fell in love with Ana at first sight. Marta doesn’t think they’re compatible, but she refrains from saying more, because she knows it would only be her jealousy talking. She knows that he’s a decent, honest, man, which means that he would never interfere in Ana’s already existing relationship. Yes, Angel admits, my love is platonic and it will stay this way. Why not turn to a more accessible woman, then, Marta asks and Angel seems torn and rather tempted, too.

Fanny/ Lenin/ Ximena/ Nando/ Edith
Fanny and Ximena talk about Lenin. Ximena is surprised by how much Fanny has changed. Well, Ximena is not her old self, either, Fanny remarks, but she can’t help her worry – is Ximena well enough or will she hurt Nando again?
Nando goes to see Edith, but she doesn’t answer the door. As he begs for her to open, she cries into her pillow and tells him to go away, she can’t talk to him right now.
Fanny and Lenin go to a fancy exhibit, but Fanny is not in the mood. Lenin notices her head is elsewhere and Fanny explains that she’s worried for Edith. Later they go to see her and this time Edith does open the door, in tears. She’s sure that Nando still loves Ximena and she thinks that she doesn’t stand a chance. Fanny encourages Edith not to give up, regardless, to fight for what she wants; she’s been through harder things, she can’t let this bring her down. Lenin listens on and he seems impressed with Fanny’s advice (especially since he’s obviously decided to fight for what he wants, too).

Bruno & Betty
After a bottle of wine, Bruno has the courage to tell Betty that he’s a virgin. At first Betty thinks that he’s joking and when she realizes he's telling the truth it looks like she’s about to run for the hills. Bruno explains how he was once hurt in love, so much so that he could never look at another woman again. How about Manuela, she is a passionate creature, right? Yes, but Bruno never truly loved her and nothing ever happened between them. Betty says that she will show Bruno everything that he needs to know. She gently stirs him to the bedroom and later, when he arrives home, Ana and Fernando notice how strangely happy he looks.

Jonny and Jenny
While Jonny is out “fixing” Isabela’s faucet, Jenny gets very worried because he won’t answer or return her calls. He does see that she’s calling at one time, but he rejects the call, just before he has to go to Isabela’s (hmmmm). Jenny tells Soledad all about her history with Nicolas and not being able to have kids. Now she hopes that she will be able to become a mother, if she adopts a baby after she marries Johnny. She is falling in love with him, so all is good there.
Except, things are not that good, because she’s so worried that she goes to wait for him at home and when Jonny arrives he tells her he went to work for a neighbor, not for Isabela. She’s upset because he wouldn’t answer her calls, but this will be nothing compared to what she'll do when she finds outs who the real client was.

The kids
Alicia seems to be doing better, but she’s still rather depressed.
At night the kids receive their presents from the Reyes Magos.

Ana & Fernando
I’m leaving them for the end, not because they are the most important couple, but because nothing happened with them. They spent most of the episode cuddled on the couch, smooching and trying to hide from the kids while kissing in plain sight.
But firs, Fer plays a game of twister with the kids, while Ana manages to sneak her clothes into the house and up in her room. Fer knocks on the door, while she is talking with Soledad about fixing the clothes and Ana hides them in her nightstand, that doesn’t even have a door. The clothes are in a black garbage bag, which will prove very important by the end of the episode.

Downstairs, in the living room, they talk about Alicia and Nando and his difficult choice. They are briefly interrupted by Bruno, who comes home after what now seems to be his afternoon delight, because everyone is still up. Alone again, Fer tells Ana that he wants to scream their secret to the whole world. She’s an amazing woman and he’s so proud to have her by his side. His words make Ana cry with emotion (but it’s the ugliest cry I’ve ever seen, I’m guessing they’re playing it for laughs, because SN is nothing if not a good crier). Again, THIS would have been a good moment for Ana to start confessing. But no, her cry had nothing to do with feeling guilty, she’s just overwhelmed that a man so wonderful as him would love her.
Basically Fer is almost begging her to formalize their relationship, which is something that she loves about him – his strong moral character, his gentlemanly manners. But no, she's too afraid that the children will end up hurting if things go bad for them. And since she's keeping such a huge secret hidden, she kind of has a point, even if Fer doesn't understand where she's coming from.

The trash bags
The next morning Bruno is very upset because two of the people who were supposed to play the Reyes Magos for the kids at the hospital can’t make it. Fer offers to be one of the magos and Jonny is convinced into accepting the third position.
We see Bruno, Fer and Jonny dressed as Baltazar, Melchor and Gaspar. They have two black trash bags filled with toys for the kids (old toys that Bruno fixed).
While Bruno goes to Ana’s room to show off his outfit, Jonny asks Bruno where his stutter went. Making love cured him, Bruno explains. Jonny is either shocked or impressed.

Fer knocks and gets in. Ana is in the shower, so he tells her he loves her through the closed door and kisses his son, who is in the bassinet. He is about to leave, when he sees a black trash bag in the night stand. The fact that Ana would leave it there, in plain sight, when she could have stashed it in the dresser is unbelievably lazy writing.
The bag, which is identical to the ones that Bruno prepared, so Fer thinks it contains more toys and picks it up without looking inside.
Outside, at the car, they put the toy bags in the trunk of the car and the bag containing Ana’s clothes next to Fer on the back seat.
This can’t end good.

Preview:
Ana discovers that her clothes are missing.
Fer, Bruno and Jonny, dressed as the Reyes Magos, are stopped by the police, who mistakes them for some thieves

Adriana, thanks, for the great recap.

Funny:

Anytime Isabela "brayed": "Johnny".

Yolanda's joke with "Fuga: leak/escape" : "te dijo que hubo una fuga,". (I told you there was a leak) ¿quién se escapó? (Who escaped?" Yolanda is good with the puns.

Bruno's "sexual healing".

Ana and her ugly cry.

Jarifa

Thank you, Adriana. Right on target and complete.

Nice to see Bruno "perfectamente bien"!

The number at the start must have been part of the launch that Osorio is making (or so I read somewhere) of his son's musical career.

I have to say that I certainly never saw the big reveal coming through this convoluted path of the magi and the black garbage bags. Interesting!

I love Ramona. She was so cute last night and so taken with our galan-NOT!

Thanks so much Adriana. Well done.

Ana will be able to lie her way out by saying Jenny brought costumes from the club for Ana to mend and/or for Ana to use for Fernando's benefit or for the instructors to use at Juan & Jenny's pole dancing workshop. No where does it say those sexy outfits are Ana's and the Lola glasses just a prop.

Ana, continues to deflect and stall Fernando's wish for them to be a couple. This the same woman that would make out with Diego in the driveway.

Patience Angel, you're almost Fernando without the baggage of a full house already and an ex crazy as Isabela. Magda could go off the rail, could, but doubt she'll want to kill Ana.

great recap, Adriana. I agree that the Ana/Fernando 'not here but no problem there in plain sight' is getting real worn.
Btw, does anyone have dejavu with black trash bags holding KEY pieces of the plots... anyone who watched Yo soy Betty la Fea or La Fea mas bella have dejavu too? what is it with black trash bags getting mixed/moved all around?

liked the word play ... Fernando tells Ana he wants the secret to come out because he wants to give her 'her rightful place'... and she replies she is sitting right there ... but pleeeeaassseee!!! move on!! turn up the heat!!! or get out'a the oven!!!

Gracias, Adriana.

I guess Isabruja's punishment has already begun if she wants to boink Johnny. That could lead to some fairly embarrassing situations. For both of them.

More later. Got back late from the opera and one cup of caffeine just isn't cutting it.

Feel better Adriana and thank you for still giving us the details from last night. not telling Our recappers are such troopers!

Not a whole lot that was interesting to me last night. I couldn't enjoy the Fer/Ana smoochfest because first, act like grownups, second, I'm really tired of Ana putting him off and her full story. At this point, I'm almost wishing it all gets revealed and the angst comes and we move on.

I could have dealt with the comedic antics of Johny and Isa but no, they than had to make it look like Romana thought he was the next best thing to slice bread when she opens the door. Really? Are men in that town are rarity? Yes, I missed the rest checking on a hockey score.

Have to say, Lenin is going win the "patience of a saint" award soon calming dealing with all of Fanny's and her family's issues. I wouldn't have minded that trip to the museum by the way. Notice they have his character dressing better. To make him more attractive to the audience in general? Still head scratching where this is all going since the credits didn't change yet.

And now Johny is keeping secrets from Jen? C'mon...why do the writers keep dumping on this woman?

Did enjoy Ana and Fer's facial reactions to Bruno's stutterless, confident response when he came home.

Daisynjay

speaking of Lenin, Daisynjay, do you buy Fanny's response when she said she was thinking of Edith? i know they went to see Edith later, but they were playing the Fanny/Leon theme on that scene at the museum or gallery. who was she really thinking of? nando/edith or Leon/Laura?
btw, what was Laura doing in that musical skid that opened the ep? and yes, Nando looked YUMMY in that clip

Holy moly. Sorry about the typos, change of phrases. Trying to fill the time with catching up on Caray while getting hair done this morning at the salon(yeah--day off!). Never a good idea--Kindles have a mind of their own.

Daisynjay

Marta, actually no. I thought all that moping was about Leon as he was talking and she was, well, moping.

Daisynjay

sometimes the ep is so vague it makes me watch Vicky Ruffo's broken faucet in La Madrastra at 5am instead... but like some have said, we have invested so much time on this one (and i will confess I like... no, I LOVE... JS when he behaves like a puppy)
already that i will ride it to the end.

Marta, you are so right about JS!

Jarifa

Adriana,

Just saw the marvelous title of your recap. A good one and soo true.

Lenin does seem to be undergoing a transformation to make him more likable and less of a Svengali to Fanny. And Leon is looking worse! That said, Leon and Mauricio were front and center in the little musical number lamenting the departure of the very adorable Sarai. Of course, Ximena and Laura were the backup dancer, so maybe there is NO point in trying to figure it all out.

yes, and did anyone else notice that in the new year's eve dinner party at some point when the instrumental music was showing some time lapse, we saw a small boy in a suit that seemed to look like Mauricio (Fernando has no blonde little boys) running around. of course Leon was not there, so why would they have Mau there and also at Leon's at the same time? did anyone else notice that?

AdrianaNOel: Pretty good for something "short". Je-je. I could have done without the Seb piece. Mean Laura and a brown haired Nando prancing around in it didn't do much for me. The Beti/Bruno 40 yr old virgent scene/let me guide you through business was sick. Ugh, but enough said.....

Has anybody seen the últimas semanas advertencia yet?

Marta,
I noticed the little boy and, trying in vain I guess to make sense of all of this, though it might have been the twins' teacher, who was also there!

Jardinera - I haven't seen any ultimas semanas yet. Has it ended in Mexico?

Hello, nice recap and hope you feel better. I have to say Edith is not helping her cause at all. When Fanny and Lenin come by to talk to her, all she keeps saying is how afraid she is to lose Nando, and she is sure that he is going back with Ximena. Well maybe if she actually let the boy(i'm sorry, he looks like a child to me) talk to her, and she stops acting like a love-sick, insecure, jealous, pyscho-chick she might give herself a chance. However, with the way she is acting any man with sense would say, "I'm not dealing with this nonsense" and wash his hands of her. Also, I find the Isabella, Jenny, Johnny storyline interesting. Can't wait to see how that turns out. I didn't even pay attention to the Fer/Ana scenes, they bored me to tears.

Everyday Ana is making a larger fool of Fernando, she's got him on a hook and leading him around by the nose. Looks like a hustler at work to me, she'll kill him when she's good and ready to eat. Why be so selfish toward a man that willingly gives you everything? Guess because she can.

I think Fanny was preoccupied with Leon too.

Thought it silly Ramona went gaga over Juan and Jenny nearly mush because he wouldn't answer the phone. Juan had Ana begging and crying over the guy even after he cheated on her, Edna & Dana fighting over him, Jenny now putty, Isabela, Ramona & Manuela wanting to jump him. I'm missing something.

Thanks Adriana. I like to skip the nonsense too when I recap. Then the show is about a half an hour.

Bryan, I could have written what you wrote myself.
I have no interest in a child's love life and Nando is only 17. I feel dirty just being involved in it. Ditto about how Edith is acting. Nando doesn't need an insecure partner like her. I wish they wouldn't portray females like this in TNs. She's the second insecure female for Nando.

I also have no interest in women fawning over Jonny. Yuck.

Can Fernando and Ana just DO IT finally!!!
I can't take this kisssy/interrupting kissing crapola over and over. Get them a room, STAT!
That convo about the vocabulary lesson between Fer and Ana was funny. I noticed you didn't put it in the recap and I forget what the word was that they were discussing, but it wasn't in my dictionary either.

Bryan, good point. Does Isa know Jen and Johnny are dating? remember the little dog fight between Jen and Isa at the hospital when Nando had the accident, and even before that, at the Chicago dressing room?? Jen must be in Isa's black list, and if Isa makes the connection of Jen to Johnny, she will add 'in your face, i took your man' revenge to her already 'hormones out of control' reasons to go after Johnny.

cathyx, i believe it was interfecto, let me check.

tofie, ITA with all three of your points... re Ana playing Fernando, Fanny and Johnny adding women to his 'book'.

cathyx, also agree on your 'Can Fernando and Ana just... get a room, STAT!!!...

Thanks for the recap!

Super strange that Xime and Laura were included in Sebs song scene.

Jonny could have made life so much easier for himself if he had just told Jen the truth. Isa called and asked me to fix her faucet. Why would Jen be angry? She, nor Jonny really, know she's after him.

Maybe the club clothes being discovered will finally get Ana to admit the truth. But with this show, we will probably be in ultima semanas! So slow are things moving!!

Fast forwarded thru Edith, Nando, Fanny and Lenin. They all bore me.

http://dictionary.reverso.net/spanish-english/interfecto
funny, this link spells out what Ana read as the first explanation in the Real Academia dictionary...
but Fernando pointed to her that there is another 'use' for it and it is 'whom or what the conversation or point is related to'

btw, that first translation of the word was something about the 'murdered individual' and that is why Ana put on a face and then looked at Fernando like he was WRONG, but then he pointed her to keep reading, that there was another translation.

Isa must be pretty dumb if she has not related Jen to be much more than just a friend for Ana by now...

Anon Thu Jan 29, 4:16: I really do have to check out CS ‘93. Everyone loves it!!

TL: Thanks. Nice to know I’m not the only one enjoying this one. I agree that it gets to be a little trying when there are nothing but negative comments. I wonder why people are wasting their time watching with all the choices that TV has now a days, including all the TN choices (it isn’t just Uni and Telemundo who air TNs). But I do see the frustration that can happen because a TN that had such potential implodes (DTQTQ is one example, for me). This one isn’t. It’s always been a bit loony to me. My complaint would be the extension causing lots of filler eps and the the Big Reveal, which by now is no big deal considering what the characters have been through up to this point, should have been revealed a long time ago.

Jarifa: I did catch bits and pieces of QPTR. Definitely want to catch the whole thing when it reairs.

Marta: Thanks for the recommendations. I did see CME. It’s one of my favs.

Nanette

Adriana. Thanks for the recap and feel better soon.

I didn't watch the ep, but from reading the recap, now I can see dissing Johnny. Lying to Jen--so not cool.

Ana's comment about a man like Fer loving her shows her insecurities and is the reason she's so afraid to tell him about the dancing. I don't think she's being deliberately mean or selfish. She's just scared s**tless of losing him. Self-fullfulling prophecy--at least for several eps.

If Ana were a man, lying because of insecurities to keep a woman, we'd be blasting him. I was ready to draw and quarter Leon when he did after his wife's return and understand if Fanny doesn't trust him yet or ever. Is Ana doing this with malice? No. Insecure? Yes Selfish? Yes. She wants him but only on her terms and she wants to control, via trickery, his opinion. She not only lies but leverages others to assist and lie for her.

exactly, tofie.. this is way beyond lie by omission... this is intentional deceit and INVOLVING his loved ones in it. besides the TRUST issue that he has said so many times is SOOOO important to him and the folks who know him KNOW it is... like Fanny, Diego and Nico.

Thing is, I understand Jenny, Juan and even her mother covering for her. I even understand the reasons Diego did, the initial reasons Nic, Fanny, Bruno and Nando did but this has gone way past and oops. Even Fanny three times over the last two nights has first, told her brother she will not lie nor be the messenger, told Ximena she will not become involved with something between she and her brother and then later told Edith the same. Has she matured enough to not want to cover for Ana when clearly it is between Ana and her father?

Still not so sure Bruno or Nando know Ana's secret yet.
for sure Diego, Nico, Soledad and Jenny and Johnny... but not so sure Bruno and Nando are part of the 'accomplices'.

With Fernando falling head over heels for Ana, and all the issues he has with trust/lying/deception, I just don't see how the writers will let the anvil fall on Ana and then have Fernando be so excepting of the whole thing. And if he isn't, then someone please tell me how he gets beyond being hurt so fundamentally by the woman he loves.

What path or scenario gets them back together?

Remember he still doesn't know DN is IkkyLizard's and not his. Two big traumatic events to come one right after the other.

I don't understand why they are bringing Ximena back when they still had a lot of storyline worth telling regarding Edith. Just watch, Nando will choose Ximena over Edith which will send Edith into a tail spin and she will be the one to commit suicide. Whatever happened to Gabriel, in jail - out of jail , what??

Osorio has said to the press that this Novela will have different endings with the final ome being selected by viewerville somehow, but that it won't end with a wedding as is the norm, and that Pablo Montero will be brought back in towards or at the end. Go figure!!

maybe Nando, but Bruno? he is clueless about lots of stuff.

I have a feeling it will be Ana's secret out, Fernando will be devastated with that, but then a little after that the Isa baby DN blows and Fernando has a second blow that might or might not change the perspective on the blow from Ana's secret, and she might be the best person he would have around to help him overcome both blows... who knows... i see Ana's secret comingout first before Isa's... and even Isa planning on moving back in the house but then her dirty rag comes out...
still there is the other loose end of Freeky, and when/how he escapes or gets released from the hospital... that will put some defcon levels on Fernando, Fanny, Ana, etc... same with Dorofeo if Ana/Dana/Johnny cause him trouble.

I don't see how Fernando overcomes Ana lying straight faced over time and jumping immediately afterward to Angel as I suspect she'll do. I'll look more like she was just looking for a rich husband instead of a rebound.

Hope Fernando doesn't beat himself up too much over Isabela lying about the parentage, everyone assumed the same. He may be disappointed because he has bonded with the child. The person most harmed with Isabela's lie was Ana and the chain of events triggered by that lie.

Some of you seem to want Ana punished for her lie of omission and punished severely now because of the accomplices who are enabling the lie.

I really don't like that Osorio is leaving it up to the public. This is a great way to ruin a good novela, which has likely been degraded by various writing reactions to viewer comments... and likely the wrong viewer comments. We've seen this happen before and the results ain't pretty. Of course, there is also the possibility that any poll they do on the network's website will be ignored in favor of whatever Osorio himself wants, whether that makes any sense or not.

It is not a lie of omission now. She tells lies every time she leaves the house to go to work and when she comes back. If she was just the nanny, what she does on her own time her business. That is why she doesn't want to have a formal relationship with Fernando, there would be expectations of honesty.

i still like Salvador's version of Ana's reveal to Fernando... even if it does not sound like Ana has the 'co___es' to do it. but i would like to think Fernando will be at a moment where he can think things through and not be told by the wrong party at the wrong time and delivered wrapped around a bunch of lies and exaggerations, as Isa would love to see it.

but in any case, I really don't see Fernando getting back with Isa no matter what she does, he has seen too much of her 'catalogue of cruelty' even if compared to Ana's deception, to give her the benefit of the doubt.
Also don't see Ana getting together with Angel no matter what, she tried 'un clavo saca otro clavo' with Diego and it was disastrous. Now she even has her mother for support. will she go back to El Oro with SOledad and even hide from Fernando for a while? possibly. but trying it out with another guy, i don't think so.

UA i really would like for the story to wrap up in a way reasonably in line with the characters, not as a circus, like we have seen other osorio projects wrap up in.

salome and Nunca te Olvidare endings come to mind on the Osorio resume.

will Fernando become a drunk for a while? perhaps. will he send Ana packing angrily? perhaps. but let Isa move back in? No way@!.

I don't think Ana does not want formal relationship with Fernando on the expectations, but on her fear of how he would react and what the kids would have to deal with if he reacted the way she sees him reacting. besides her fear of losing both him and them.

Reading your comments Ana's lies remembered me how at the beginning we were all in Ana's corner, hoping that Fer won't be too harsh on her when he finds out, but mostly sure that he will act like an ogre.
Right now, after so many months of constant lying, things have went to a gray area,in my opinion.
At first Ana was very ashamed with her other job, so she kept the secret. Now she's also scared that she will lose everything, which will probably happen, for a while, at least. She's not keeping it a secret out of malice, she's just acting like a coward, like tn galans usually do. How many times have we seen the guy act like a prick with the heroine, going even as far as marrying another woman, just to have all his sins forgiven at the end?

As for the multiple endings: I'm getting tired of this trend. Multiple endings means that the story doesn't get a resolution. In life you don't get multiple endings, I feel a little bit cheated every time they pull this, which is almost always. It just proves me that the producers don't have the guts to stand by their story till the end - they want to make everyone happy, but they are only doing a great disservice to their story.

I completely agree with that statement on multiple endings. When I saw the "alternate" ending of LQLVMR I was shocked that the producer even considered it. It also compromised the quality of the entire final episode and the integrity of the story.

Which has happened to this to a lesser extent so far, but will probably get worse.

I would have had no issue with Salvador's scenario for this and to have Ana and Fernando fighting the evil characters for the rest of the series. Now we have an insane Enrique in a possible escape scenario which can lead to someone's life being in danger. That someone is most likely to be Nicolas (if they keep Enrique's character consistent) or any of the Lascurain children. We've not seen "child in jeop" yet in this series, but I wouldn't put it past Osorio after PEAM.

OK. If Ana were a mean-spirited b***h like Isa, I could see the animosity. But she's a kind-hearted woman who's made a mistake that has snowballed until she can't see past her terror of revealing it.

What was Laura doing in the musical? She was doing a hellofa good job of shakin her ass.. Made Zimmer look like an old lady.

"looks like a hustler at work to me" I agree. Ana-lier is looking more and more shady in every episode. Her interaction with Fer has degenerated into some wanton game of deception on her part perpetrated on as nice, honest a man as lives. She has lost me. A N V I L for AnaLier.

AnaLier "jumping immedistely to Angel" so Ana is a sweet innocent pole dancer and her secret night job looks really sleazy but is (wink) actually not and she has been with:
1. Johnny
2. Fer
3. Diego
4. Fer again
5. Angel (in this possible scenario)

But she is a nice sweet virtuous girl that just likes workin in a whorehouse.

Yeah go ahead and marry her Fer but get an ironclad prenup.

Kirby, you have admitted that you haven't seen this series from the beginning. For your information, Ana hasn't has sex with anyone since dumping Johnny in the opening episode for cheating on her.

She never boinked Diego. She was on the brink but backed off. And I doubt it will even get close with Angel.

If they wanted to pull from the Televisa burned subplots to increase intensity toward the last few dozen eps, they could have Lizardo's character do his best, kidnap Fernando or Ana, and Isa would get Fernando asleep and take some compromising photos... that way when Fernando learns the truth he and Ana will be separated for a long term at least partly because of a major deception... potentially also involving the police, and Angel if someone ends up in a life-threatening situation, esp one of the kids. you know... typical Televisa stuff...

I am not as tough a judge on Ana as others here, but as much as she shows her humanity and background affecting her self-worth, she has had many chances to cut her losses and Fernando has reminded her several times that honesty and transparency are TRULY important to him... so she is gambling and her biggest fears surely have a high probability of becoming accurate the longer she takes to come out clean with Fernando.
I see Diego coming back toward the end and slapping Fernando back to his senses... it is like John Candy's role in Splash:
Tom Hank's char: i waited my whole life to find my girl... and when i find her... she's a fish!
John Candy's char: Nobody's perfect!

Oh My Gawd Angel just made Chava look like a frippin genius. As I said before Angel is a card carrying fruit.

What was the purpose of the whole Sebastian dance routine ?

To highlight the "talents" of the producer's son?

I would be annoyed with Sabas no matter what, but knowing that he is there due to nepotism is way worse.

Thanks UA . I did miss a lot in the beginning. I was not so concerned as to who she slept with as to how many men she had led on or been romantically involved with. Four boyfriends in six months is still nothing to brag about (unless you are AnaLier). And I still call bullshit on Angel's supposed love at first sight. I believe his ex Magda/Marta is ten times the catch of AnaLier and prettier too. AND she doesn't yell embarrassingly at the most inopertun moments. I also found it odd how she initiated this very personal questioning of Angel every chance she gets. It's as though she wants him to think she is sizing him up as a potential mate.
