Mi corazon es tuyo #146 More filler ... Fernando invites Ana to the beach and she is excited about it... Freeky has his first revenge victim in a cage.

Refritos:

Nando and Ximena and Edith at cafeteria, he tells them he did not want to hurt them.

Fernando tells all 7 kids that he is ready to propose to Ana, ring in hand.

Lo Nuevo:

Freeky escapes with the coaching of his ‘dad’.

Ana is visiting Jenny who admits she called her to come over because Fernando asked her to get Ana out of the house. Ana is a bit nervous, what could this ‘surprise’ be?

Hissabella arrives home in a huff, insults her mother again and calling her traitor several times. Hissabella says ‘don’t complain, this(I) is the monster you created!’ She again threatens Yomama not to become her enemy. Can’t kick you to the curb but you better stay out of my way! Ramona comes close to Yomama to give her some support. Yomama claims she is not to blame for what Hissabella is like. Ramona says God is witness that you repented for all the wrong you did. Don’t cry.

Jenny and Ana talk about how dedicated Angel was to caring for Aura all night long. Then they talk about Johny and the permits he is still missing to be able to open the business. Ana wants to call the house to check on the kids but Jenny says Fernando asked that you not be allowed to talk on the cell. He said for Ana not to worry. And asked Jenny to calm Ana down if she got into her hysterics. LOL! Ana proves his point with her reaction.

The kids suggest to Fernando to take Ana to the beach and propose there. Nando and Fanny even skid the proposal for him. The little ones huddle to talk if they agree with Nando and Fanny’s suggestion. But they add to do it like a treasure hunt with clues and hiding the ring somewhere. Even scuba diving… to search for keys… Fernando loves it.

Freeky leaves a dead-like nurse guy on the bed and takes off.

Fernando consults the ideas with Soledad, she gets excited about the whole thing. They all swear to secrecy. Fernando doesn’t even have to ask her… she will gladly take care of the troops. Siete also barks his agreement.

Ana and Jenny talk about how Johnny cares for Jenny. She is moved. The troops call Ana to come back home. All is clear.

At Chicago, Hissabella has made it in to the dressing room. She is looking for some evidence of Ana having been there.

Edith and Lenin talk at her room… She is nagging about Ximena. Edith feels that she will loose Nando. Lenin says its bad signal that Nando takes this long to ‘think things over’. Lenin tells Edith ‘when you feel, you don’t think.’ Edith is determined to fight for love.

Ximena is taking a web course on astrophysics. She tells herself she will show Edith she is not dumb like Edith says.

Edith changes the subject to Fanny. Lenin is not comfortable. Edith asks Lenin why he won’t give up on Fanny if she loves Leon. Edith says ‘there you go’.

At house, the kids are all in living room. Ana arrives. Siete dances around spinning.

Ana wants to check on the baby but Fernando tells her not to worry, he is with Soledad. Luz tells her Fernando wants to tell her something.

Hissabella keeps looking around Ana’s wardrobe. One of the thugs comes to get her, and another one has to come in so they both carry a reluctant Hissabella to Gordofeo’s office.

Johnny arrives home to a payback show from Jenny. He gets pulled into the room and then the door goes ‘on fire’. Yada yada…

At Gordofeo’s office, Hissabella is having a hissy fit… she can’t even stand his breath odor. He gets close to her intentionally and gets his hands all over her. Says he has never made a pass at her but he has to warn her ‘NOONE MOCKS ME!!!” He gets away from her and says again he is not the type to be rough on women. He guesses why she came. He guesses right about why she is there. She says it is more than obvious that his secret has to do with this ‘antro’. He says she won’t be allowed here anymore. She starts making a mess of his money all over the room and he gets really angry.

Back to the Lasc living room, Ana is guessing charades signals from Luz and one of the twins. First word she finally figures out ‘quieres’(do you want) … second word… ‘ir’ (to go) third word… ‘conmigo’ (with me) … ‘a’ (to) … ‘al mar’ (to the sea/beach)? … Fernando steps forward and asks Ana if she wants to go with him to the beach… She asks ‘where life is more delicious with you?’ Yes I want to!!!

Hissabella is arriving home ranting about Gordofeo making things much more complicated for her if she can’t go back to Chicago. Freeky arrives behind her and grabs her by the neck from behind. He pulls her back. Yomama opens the door after hearing noises but doesn’t see anything outside. Yomama comes back in and Ramona offers to pray with her. Yomama is grateful.

Ana excited to go see the beach/sea. Fernando offers to buy her some beach wear. They will leave Friday. She is emotional just thinking about it. But she gets nervous when she learns they will travel by plane. She wants to go by ‘camion’ (LOL!). Fernando finds her fear of planes amusing/funny. Luz and Nando try to convince her flying is safer. Then she worries about turbulence, will you hold me tight? Of course, I will hold you and never let you go.

The woman nurse finds the other nurse on the bed., he is dead. She freaks out and yells for help.

At Angel’s, Magda again visits just when he is out of the shower. Oh those white towels on handsome men… yummy! Poor woman suffers torture, she gets to tell him he looks better than ever. He goes to get dressed while she tries to calm herself.

There is something about Jenny and rolling in the sheets… She used to wear Nico down, and she even has worn Johnny down… he claims it was about all the painting with rollers he did yesterday. He admits it was REALLY INTENSE. She is waiting for Round #5. He tells her Gordofeo came by.

Ana talks to the boys… she is excited about the beach. She and Sebas confide a bit on her loving his dad. Time for boys to go to sleep. When she leaves the boys get up again and pull something from under the bed…

The boys go to Nando’s room to see if he has the electric wire machine ready. They all test it. Nando raises the voltage slowly… Luz gives up first. Then he ramps up the voltage. The boys act as if they are drunk after the next shock. Then Nando joins the chain while Luz does the controls. Nando gives up. Now its only the twins.

Ana goes to library. Fernando shows her some photos of the beach resorts. She is incredulous that places like that exist for real. But the doorbell rings. Torres comes in to tell Ana and Fernando that Freeky escaped the hospital and killed a nurse guy.

Angel is running out… rejects a glass of wine Magda offered. She asks him directly why he won’t give her another chance. He can’t promise her anything. She only wants a chance. Kisses him. He kisses back.

Yomama a bit worried about Hissabella still not home and it is very late. Ramona wonders if she got a new galan. Yomama calls Fernando. After consulting with Fernando, Ana tells her Hissabella is not there… Ana can tell Yomama is worried, asks what she can do. Yomama tells her she has a real bad feeling about this.

We see Hissabella locked up in a big dog cage while Freeky swears she will pay for everything she did to him after he remembers she tries to kill him.

Previews: Fernando tries to help Yomama find Hissabella… and someone yells ‘My God!!’ when the cops enter the place where Freeky had Hissabella.

MartaIvett that was a great recap, thanks!
I wandered off to the kitchen just before Enrique grabbed Isabella--the most excitement we've had in weeks!--so was glad to get the low-down on how that happened.

Must say, the other most exciting scene was watching the kids playing with that electric current "game"! Yikes!

Marta, thanks for a great recap of the MOST BORING episode to date. Between watching Johnny and Jen, Lenin (ugk), and Ana's constant moaning over trying to figure out the "secret", I really thought I might not make it to the end of the episode.

Why must we be bombarded with gratuitous scenes of half-naked, shirtless men with perfectly, well-oiled muscular torsos? (Angel greeting Magda). I'm as hot-blooded as the next average female, but these totally pointless scenes of shirtless, muscular guys just seems silly---Too William Levy and David Zepeda-ish. IMHO, the sexiest scenes are those that are subtle. The best example being an approximate 2 second scene of Fernando Colunga after coming out of the bath in "Alborada ". OMG , okay, it's just my opinion. But the only thing the scene with Angel accomplished was to show Magda crying over spilt milk. And really, why do the guys always kiss the girl back and don't say STOP? Stupid question.

I thought the scene with Nando, the twins, and the shock machine was inappropriate because a young kid watching (unlikely) might wish to re-create such a machine and end up electrocuting themselves or someone else. Stupid thought because there are probably much more dangerous things kids can make nowadays, like BOMBS.

A great weekend discussion might be "hypothetically, what are you willing to forgive with regards to your partner". For example, infidelity; lying, omission, dishonesty (as with Ana); verbal and/or physical abuse; etc. It seems as if several bloggers think Ana's actions with regard to Chicago and Fernando are unforgivable. Same as with León and his previous marriage.

The Enrique scene in is "lab" was straight out of "CSI, Las Vegas". LOVED IT.!! Now maybe we'll see some action!

Sorry to rant. My comment isn't proportional to the episode and is stupid, stupid. This novela is getting to me !!!

***his "lab"

I take what I said about hakf-naked men scenes. Maybe Angel just doesn't "do it" for me. HA!

Liked:
The kids and their "shocking " fun.

Loved:
Isabella in a cage!

Thanks, Marta.

I also don't get what is supposed to be funny about the shock machine. In fact, I'm rather surprised that these kids are allowed to purchase and possess such a thing. Why aren't Fernando and Ana confiscating it? My parents would not only have confiscated it I would have gotten a sound thrashing.

We've had previous discussions on the subject of forgiveness. The objective of such discussions isn't to disclose our own issues (I think there is too much TMI going on these days on the internet) but to generally understand this concept. Too many novela characters have expressed forgiveness over truly egregious stuff and too many people in the real world are told to forgive every wrong done to them to the extent that they would have no boundaries and no defenses against further pain from the same people.

As to young kids watching this, I agree that it's completely inappropriate. However, that makes Enfrique's madness and murder of the male nurse even more inappropriate for children to watch.

More later.

Fantastic recap Marta! I am in constant awe lately how our recappers can make such fun recaps out of episodes that are being stretched to the limit.

I could have definitely done without the Johny/Jen whatever, and I guess I've given up hope that Ana would be less screechy and childish in her reactions to gifts or events from Fer. That's the character and I think it's the part that we can point to in saying she ISN'T Fanny Sr. even though they look alike.

Though not a fan of that electric shock game, I give up on some of these inappropriate pranks and antics that Osorio shows. THis one was actually dangerous to even imply to kids as something to try, but when has that ever stopped his writers.

Lisardo is so fun when his character finally becomes unhinged. Surprised they actually showed him killing someone, didn't think we would go there with this TN, but now I wonder what we still might see in the last episodes. Any of the sub-main characters?

Hey, I can go with the gratuitous shirtless scene now and then, and thankfully it was Angel. But it does seem purposefully random simply for viewerville...and I still don't see any chemistry between him and Magda. Boring and we need to park that whole plot line.

So who's next on Eeeky's revenge list? He has to be going after Fer, so I'm guessing he takes one of the kids or Ana...knowing Osorio, he seems in favor of kids in kidnapping plots, so maybe the baby ( since he knows it's his) or Fanny?

Daisynjay

In my eagerness to comment on this great episode, I neglected to thank the recapper. Thanks, Marta, for the recap and doing double duty every week. It is appreciated!

I wish I was a long-time member of the Caray, Caray crowd so I could have enjoyed all the thought-provoking 'Weekend Discussions'. Since posting during LQLVMR, I've thoroughly enjoyed each weekend discussion (well maybe not the Opera one, as I'm not an Opera aficionado) and the wide range of opinions posted on the recaps of the novelas I watch. Seeing the commercials for LQLVMR on Hulu actually makes me miss SR, AB, LRG, and the LQLVMR crowd. I guess I'm not fan of comedy novelas and will not watch another one after this.

Two years or so ago, I did come across the 'Alborada' website of our wonderful BlogMom before she created 'Caray, Caray'. So I still remember that scene with the shirtless Fernando Colunga and all the excitement it generated on the 'Alborada' site. OMG that was a delicious scene#!# Funny that Anon should refer to it.

I see that some of you do agree that Osorio has gone over to the dark side with the scenes of blood, gore, guts, teenage sex, etc. Was it really necessary for crazy Enrique to KILL the nurse? Couldn't Enrique just have knocked him out and tied him up?
Since he has made one PSA after another, it's a shame he didn't put his forum to better use.

I still have a hard time believing he geared this novela to include a young audience. However, seeing as how he married a former Playboy bunny, singer, actress, and exotic dancer, Niurka Marcos (Sebastián's, Emilio's, mother), may suggest the reason he is somewhat lax, IMO, regarding certain issues. You guys just have to see her picture on either her Wiki Spanish or English page. I'm not a prude, but really! !

I didn't realize until today that Osorio's eldest son (Juan Osorio Jr.) died of a heart attack in 2013.

Marta thank you for your patience in recapping such an utterly dull, boring episode.

Thank you so much Marta.

Agree the shock thing dangerous, love Luz, but she was getting into it a bit much when she had the control.

I've come to expect gratuitous shirtless flexing but way past my teen years when it moved me more.

Thought Ricky would go off but never thought we'd see a murder, bloodied corpse, kidnapping and Isabela in a cage. Isabela deserves an anvil but this is extreme.

Tuesday and last night it occurred to me we could go the remainder of this show and never have Ana's secret disclosed in a damning way. While, I don't like, Ana lied and deceived Fernando for selfish reasons, if it means they can end up together and happy ever after without a side trip to Angel and the wailing kids, I'm ok.

Let's see, Ricky had Isabela, Fanny, Fernando, Nic and Leon on his get even list but that opens the way, should he run amok plenty of folks to take out. Is this the show we are watching?

Thanks for the reminder about Osorio's being married to the scandal queen. The wedding photos from her other marriage are enough to insure that her children will someday be sending their shrinks' children to Harvard. Warning: Not suitable for work.

I had a hilarious conversation with someone who worked for the magazine that published those photos. When I said "What if she gets married again? What will she wear?" she said, "She can't; she would have to be naked."

Anon, i loved that 2 second scene of Colunga, but I also still laugh out loud of another Colunga scene in a barn full of hay with a baby in his arms and the barn going on fire... in Nunca te Olvidare. I remember one post by a forum member that was simply a hysterical account of that scene.

and yes, i am rooting for a happily ever after but a journey there that makes sense...

regarding Ana not being Fanny Sr, I believe Fernando knows that... and this is why he had conflicts over some of Ana's behavior, mostly the yelling. it took him a while to warm up to the idea of Ana being his 'pareja'.
But I believe Ana is still having some self-image self-worth issues reagarding being worthy of everything Fernando is offering her... ABOVE AND BEYOND the lie about the Chicago.
After the FIN, I can see it taking her a while to get used to the idea that SHE IS LA SENORA LASCURAIN and to start moderating her physical reactions...
She will keep insisting to him that she does not need to be showered with flowers and gifts regularly... and in a way i feel it would make sense since when you DONT get that kind of surprise daily, WHEN you get it, it is even more meaningful.

But i am bracing for things to get nasty anytime now for a good while and then we have the final stretch for the finale. With Freeky hurting at least one of the folks on his list, possibly kidnapping the baby, and Ana or someone stepping in the way of a bullet (i still say that will happen).

Jarifa, are they done recording in Mex or is there still any chance they stretch it more?

Thank you, Marta. You did a great job for us as always.

Yes, Angel answering the door, soaking wet and ready for a GQ photo shoot. Good Lord.

I think that Ramona is a sweet character, who is very loving toward Yolanda. When she put her face up against Yolanda's fancy, sharp pin, I could only think that no good deed goes unpunished with las brujas.

Here's hoping for some more action, even if it brings us some pain before the end!

Marta, I do not know that they are done filming. I only know that MCET is scheduled to finish on Sunday, March 1 in Mexico.

Jarifa

Wonderful recap!

When I saw Hissa in the cage, all I could think was "couldn't happen to a nicer person"!

Unfortunately, the previews suggest she doesn't stay in it long.

Anon: 4:35, I'll take the half-naked scenes of Angel any day. That man is fine!

One more thing, why does Fer have to buy Ana clothes or swim wear? She is the nanny to seven, now eight kids, of a super rich dude. She should be making over $100k a year. Put aside the money she pays for her house with Jenny, maybe some money back to Doro, which we never see transpire, she still should have a ton in the clear.

I am just hoping that there is no sacrificial lamb in this tale. Enfrique previously failed in his attempt on Nick's life and should not be allowed to succeed with a second one.

Nick, Leon, Mauricio, and Fanny are in the greatest danger. Laura might also be on his hit list because of her association with Fanny.

Marta, according to what I know, they haven't finished filming yet but are working on the last episodes.

The novela probably will not be extended because Osorio has scheduled and advertised a big shindig in Aztec Stadium with recording artists, the cast, and invitees.

Tks Marta

I am so weary of this TN, Will it ever end?

A murder doesn't seem very comedic to me,

Just cked telenovela world, Mex is on capitulo 160 & still going.

Nando looks adorable, now we just have to clean up Edith.

Marta sorry, Osorio is celebrating and filming the final ar "La Bombonera de Toluca" stadium, with Kaay and Axel, Daniela Romo, La Banda el Recodo, Paulina Goto, Pablo Montero, and probably Pandora performing according to web sources.

All I can say UA is "MY EYES!!!" And yes, that child is most likely sitting in a psychiatrist's office as we speak. Good lord.

Forgot that Eeky actually had that hit list, but I don't see him bothering with Leon or Nic anymore. Plus Gramps is at the seaside or some such place out of harm's reach right now.

I can see the scenario now, as my naseau grows, he comes after Fanny, Lenin who loves her dearly saves the day and goes paws up, and Fanny realizing she is grateful to him but still loves Leon, thinks she needs to make every day count and goes running back to Leon, motherhood and whatever. I now need to go take a TUMS.

Daisynjay

thanks for the heads up about the finale 'celebration', everyone.

DaisynJay, Lisardo is so fun when his character finally becomes unhinged. Totally agree on that one... as much as we love to hate his characters he is a MASTER at this. The one in Cuando me enamoro was my favorite villain of his. but he has had many roles where he has done this RIGHT.

DaisynJay...
I now need to go take a TUMS.

ROFLOL!!! just in time for lunch!!

Thank you Marta for the recap! I have to agree with others, this was booooooriiiiing! Couldn't get up for any of this, although, having someone killed like that on camera, I didn't like that. I thought it was very inappropriate for this type of show.

I also love how Edith is still whining and crying about losing Nando(i'm sorry, didn't she break up with him, not the other way around) and Ximena is wasting time with astrophysics courses and Nando isn't thinking about either one of them. He's doing his thing with his family as happy as can be while they are acting like 9th grade school girls who've just lost the last availiable man on earth. It would do my heart good if this child(Yes, I don't care about the make-over, he's 17)would tell both of them to hit the road.

I agree marta--Lisardo was the perfect creepy bad guy in Cuando ( one of my personal all time fav TN's). The Sniffer and those wind breakers. Who could ever forget?

I'm with you Bryan. You know watching Edith whining, and Nando playing electric shock therapy with his siblings and Fanny running around all over...makes me think. Gee when I was in college, I was buried in books EVERY NIGHT. And high school wasn't a trip either with advanced classes, which is what I'm assuming Nando must be taking. Not that there isn't teenage angst in their relationships, but the importance and writing that is implying these are all true loves and life-changing relationships at the whopping age of 17 through 21 ( ok, Leon is 26, which makes me want to slap him silly more since he should be acting like an adult not a 10 year old throwing tandrums). Just no. There will be the off one where it does lead to something more, but not ALL OF THEM. I'm waiting for Osorio to bring Pablo and Sarai back with that same implication that those sub teen couples found their true loves. Which at that point, I will put on my coat and go out buying a new TV since I destroyed mine throwing the remote at it.

Urban:

OMG I just had a chance to look at Niurka Marcos' wedding picture. Is that really how she dressed ? That was her wedding "dress" ? Please say it ain't so !!! That is also her Wiki page photo. Poor Sebastián (Emilio), who seems to be an absolutely great kid (without his mother's rhythm skills) despite having, in my opinion, a very wacky mom. But, who knows, maybe she is a fantastic parent.

By the way, hypothetically speaking in generalities and in the case of Yolanda and Isabella, are parents to blame if their kids grow up outside of normal personality parameters? Yolanda seems to believe she, and she alone, is responsible for how destructive Isabella turned out.

When I first saw those photos I was floored. I had to seriously question her sanity over this. Yes, those were her wedding pictures from her wedding to Bobby Larios. Maybe I should have questioned his sanity.

yes to all those comments about NM.
and i remember seeing a talk show (not sure if Cristina, Don Fran, etc) where Niurka went on and on on the detail about what went wrong in her marriage to Juan O at nighttime, what she was doing (to herself, if you get my drift) to try to get him in the mood and he wouldnt... ok that's TIM already. i will stop... she was saying all that on Nat'l TV.

sorry, meant TMI of course.

Well guess Ana is tame in comparison to NM and Jonny really is Osorio's alter ego.

Good one, Tofie; Adrian Uribe must have the physique that Osorio wishes he had himself.

and the game with all women

tofie, you sent me home giggling at that one 'and the game with all women'. Have a great weekend and happy st valentines, everyone!

Thanks for the last two recaps Marta. There was a lot of filler but at least we had some plot movement.

Enrique now has Isa in a cage. Will she stay there long enough for Ana and Fer to go on their trip and get engaged?

I thought the scene where Enrique killed the guy seemed very realistic and too realistic for a comedy.

I think the electric shock thing is stupid and not funny either.

I don't find an over muscled hairless chest very sexy. So Angel and Jonny do nothing for me. Give me Cristian de la Fuente instead.

I would like to see the actor playing Enrique in a role as a good guy for a change.

Cathy, I don't think that will happen. Lisardo has too sinister a look and a Castilian accent that is often mocked.

But you did inspire me into a Weekend Discussion topic.

She is a card carrying SKANK. Looong before she met Osorry-o she was nasty. Ever seen her up close? YIKES !

KIRBY,
I can't believe you have seen her in real life !!!! OMG.
