Hasta El Fin Del Mundo #152 3/23/15 Personally, I'd Rather Have Paul Allen's Yacht

From Friday:
Javier thanks Lupe' for coming to visit him.
Marisol remembers back to when she first met Lucas. She cries and goes to join Lupe' at the hospital.
Peralta takes Sofia and Chava on a Three-Hour Tour aboard his yacht.

Monday's Episode:
Some scenes have been combined.

Peralta's Yacht
Geronimo asks Chava what he thinks of the yacht. Okay, right here I have to object. What Peralta has is just a big boat, it's not a yacht. THIS is a yacht:

The most Bad Ass yacht ever built:
The Octopus owned by Paul Allen

Chava admits likes the boat, but his dream is to win races and spend his life with Sofia. They kiss while Peralta fumes. Sofia tells the story of Chava's last race. He almost won until another driver had an accident and Chava stopped to save him. Chava lost the race but gained hero status. Chava talks about fixing Big Foot and getting more sponsors. Geronimo suggests that Ripoll Chocolates sponsor his car, but Chava says he wants Sofia for her love, not her money. He plans on giving Sofia the trophy from the first race he wins.

Hospital
Javier tells Lupe' that he wants to talk to Paco. When Paco comes to his bedside, Javier snivels about wasting his life and needing a liver transplant. He recounts how he tried (and failed) to break-up Lupe' and Paco. Now that Javier has one foot in the grave he finally realizes that Lupe' deserves some kind of happiness. Paco can be the husband that Lupe' should have had all along. Paco wishes Javier the best and they shake hands as friends.

In the hall, Paco and Lupe' talk about how Javier has changed. Lupe' believes Javier is saying his good-byes. Marisol arrives and falls into Lupe's arms crying. She tells Lupe' that Daniela is a whore and stole Lucas from her. After the concert Rosa told Lucas that she was his mother. He got depressed, got drunk and then Dani the Whore hunted him down and molested him. None of it was Lucas' fault!

Marisol then goes to see Javier. She tells him that the concert went well but Lucas dumped her. Javier consoles her and tells her that Lucas isn't worth crying over. Someday she will meet a guy who will treat her like a princess, with love and respect.

Miguelina's Casa
Dani and Lucas commiserate with each other on the phone. Dani admits that telling Marisol the truth didn't go so well. They make plans to meet. Lucas goes into the bedroom where Miguelina is crying over Rosa's diary. He tells Miguelina that he is meeting Dani and asks for Miguelina's blessing. Lucas leaves the house and is immediately ambushed by Oliver who has been waiting in his car. Oliver knocks Lucas to the ground and pummels him with his fists. Lucas doesn't fight back. He tells Oliver he tried to love Marisol, but was never able to get over Dani. Oliver is sorry he ever defended Lucas to his father. Lucas is a traitor and their friendship is over. Oliver gets back in his car and drives away.

Back in the house, Miguelina gives Lucas some first aid for his owies. Lucas tells her that Oliver had the right to beat the snot out of him. He admits that Dani is the love of his life and he has no regrets about what happened.

Peralta's Yacht:
Sofia and Chava are snuggling at the front railing of the yacht. Peralta watches them from the bridge. His henchman, Aldo, hands him a folder containing information about Chava. Peralta reads it then orders Aldo to uncover all of Chava's weaknesses.

At the dock, Sofia and Chava thank Geronimo for the cruise. Peralta kisses Sofia and promises to call her with the name of a customer. After the couple goes ashore, Peralta tells his henchman that it won't be easy to erase Sofia's feelings for Chava.

Ripoll House:
Dani tells Fausto and Alexa about what happened with Marisol. Dani admits that now it's going to be very hard for her to see Marisol and Oliver every day at the factory. Alexa scoffs; Marisol and Oliver are young and they'll either get over it or quit - it's probably better that way.

Renzi's Apartment:
Patricio is still suspicious about Armando's motives for going to Renzi's real estate office. Renzi calls Armando and offers to set up another appointment with him to discuss selling his house. Armie says he isn't interested anymore. His lawyer advised him not to sell because it could cause problems with the divorce. After the call Renzi tells Pato what Armie said about the lawyer. Pato just needs to relax. Armie wasn't at the office to spy on them. Besides, all the secret information is under lock and key.

Cuco's Place:
Rosa tells Cuco that she's leaving town tomorrow. Miguelina comes in to the restaurant to talk to Rosa. After reading Rosa's diary Miguelina has changed her mind. She realizes that Rosa loves Lucas and asks why she didn't come back sooner. Rosa tells Miguelina that she was too ashamed of herself and of the things that she had done. She knows that Lucas hates her and she is leaving tomorrow. Miguelina asks Rosa to stay. Lucas has suffered so much and she doesn't want him to lose his mother again. Miguelina offers to help Rosa regain Lucas' love and trust. Rosa is overjoyed and agrees to stay. Cuco is very happy with this turn of events.

Ripoll House:
Dani brings Lucas home. Lucas isn't sure this is a good idea but Dani isn't going to lie anymore. She goes to the studio and asks Greta if they can talk. Greta agrees but is horrified when Lucas comes in. Dani tells Greta that she broke up with Oliver and that Lucas is the love of her life. Greta goes into a tizzy, "No! Oh my God, no!" Fausto steadies her and Greta sinks into a chair. "How could you give up an extraordinary guy like Oliver for a common thief!"

Dani defends Lucas and she and Greta get into an argument. Fausto begs Dani to stop, "Please, your mother isn't well." Greta swears she will never, never accept Dani's relationship with Lucas. She orders Lucas to leave. Greta gasps for breath and Fausto calls the doctor.

Other nonsense:
Mattias goes car shopping and gets sticker shock as he looks at the new models. He wants something smaller and cheaper and finally finds a 2001 for $59,000 (which according to an internet currency converter is approx. $3,950). Yovet says no to the used car and plants herself behind the wheel of a new Ford Mustang. Mattias balks at the price tag but Yovet insists that she won't date a poor guy. Mattias is an executive and should have an executive's paycheck. Mattias hems and haws about wanting a family car. Yovet tells him to pick out a nice car, but no mini-vans.

Icker and Aurora talk about the Fragrant Ghost of Octavio. Aurora tells Icker about the real Octavio's morning coffee routine and how he would leave coffee cups in weird places. Icker gets another idea. Icker calls Silvana and tells her that their venganza is proceeding. He's got more ideas to put a scare into Greta and pretty soon she should die of The Big One. Silvana is pleased.

Irma and Armie talk about who gets custody of Nandito. She offers to be "supportive" so they can be "friends" and reach an agreement. Armie would rather make things clear ahead of time. Irma says the judge can decide.

Armie moves a mattress for Nandito into his apartment and knocks over a lamp wrapped in newspaper. He tells Nandito to throw the newspaper away. Nandito notices a picture of Alexa and Paolo on the front page and shows it to Armie. He looks worried.

Alexa and Paolo have drinks and dinner. They are interrupted a couple of times by female fans that recognize Alexa as well as Paolo. Alexa is flattered by her sudden success but later complains that having to take pictures with fans makes her uncomfortable. Paolo reminds her that celebrities without fans can't pay the bills. She needs to learn to combine her private life with her public life. Alexa wants everyone to know that acting is her thing and they toast to her success.

Sofia and Chava arrive back at the Survivor Hut. Chava is suspicious of Peralta's motives. He is sure that Geronimo is interested in Sofia, and not just as his future daughter-in-law's sister. What other reason would there be for that big show of wealth and boasting? Sofia thinks Chava is jealous. She tells him that he is the only man in the world for her. Later that night they lie on the beach and look at the stars and share the most awkward kiss ever.

Not sexy, not romantic. Just awkward.
End of Episode.

Xlnt, thanks for a great recap. Loved the screencap of the 'awkward" kiss; also "Fragrant Ghost of Octavio". Very funny!

I liked:

Salvador seeing the Peralta situation for what it is: Gerónimo likes Sofía.

Miguelina having a change of heart after reading from Rosa's book and inviting Rosa to stay.

Daniela telling Greta the truth no matter how "ill" it was making her.

Silvan and Christian continuing on with the ghostly revenge against Greta.

Alexa must be feeling better: she used a "que te lo digo yo" when consoling Daniela.

Sure hope the doctor gets there already fir Greta.

Jarifa

Xint, your screenshots are always divine. "Not sexy, not romantic. Just awkward" sums up Chava and Sophia to a T. Loved the recap and yes, I would love to have P. Allen's yacht. Peralta's yacht? Not all that!

So glad Rosa is staying. Now if Chava and Sophia would just leave!

Glad Renzi and Pato are off Armando's trail for the time being.

Xint, your well written, detailed recaps are always a pleasure!

Diana

Thanks for clarifying "Yacht". Gero has a big boat. Looks to be in the 48-50 foot range. NOT a yacht as you noted. Nice boat but the waters around here are thick with those things. A Winnebago that floats.

xInt, love it and appreciate your help always.

"the Fragrant Ghost of Octavio" very clever

a big ole yuck for me and David Z.

I find myself wanting something or somebody to break Sofia and Salvador up, just don't like the couple and know I'm supposed to be rootin for em. Please bring Silvana and Pat back.

Whoa, got me a little excited and thought Rosa was gonna tell what she did in el norte so degrading, but came up short. At least she stays, so perhaps I'll know someday.

Glad ya'll mentioned a real yacht. G got his jet, helicopter and penthouse pad but not impressive afloat.

Always on the edge of my seat with Irma and I like it.

A great recap Xlnt, you are always "right on."
Xlnt---Your wit always shines through. Sophia and Chava arrive back at the Survivor Hut brought a morning smile to my face.

Ok---Lucas' beat down. First I would like to say I did not
see or watch any part of Hasta ahead of the normal Univision broadcast. However it did seem obvious to me that the only way an office worker with no fight training could or would be able to take out a semi-pro ex boxer without a massive surprise attack
and then follow up with numerous blows before the victim has a chance to recover from the first initial surprise blow. That's exactly what we saw happen last night. The only thing that surprised me was how Lucas, after the beating was able to stand up and talk back to Dulliver. Unless
office boy had a powder puff punch and it didn't look like it
Lucas should have had a missing tooth or two, or a broken jaw---at
least a fractured jaw or a black eye. However all we saw was a small amount of blood. That was the only thing that I found unreal about the whole beat down fight last night.

Xlnt---You are so right on when you mentioned Peralta's boat. It is a very nice boat, a big boat but definitely not in the yacht category.

Greta calls Lucas "a common thief." I don't remember that far back but wasn't the watch theft thing explained way back when?

Perlalta isn't going to give up. He's twice Sophia's age. Does he plan to keep a supply of Viagra on hand at all times? And how is Sophia gonna feel after he destroys Chocolates Ripoll? Is this guy thinking? Oh, he doesn't care. Can't wait to see how Chava
stops him--Mr. Big.
the gringo

I agree with Gringo on the Lucas beatdown. The only was he could've taken lucas was to surprise him like he did. Also Lucas explained he didn't even fight back because he felt he deserved to be beaten by Oliver for betraying him. Just like I believe Marisol would wipe the floor with Dani if they squared up evenly, I think Lucas would cream Oliver, and that was before I knew he was a former semi-pro boxer(I found out from Gringo's post).

I'm glad Mig softened up and agreed to help Rosa, even though I felt that Rosa's reason for leaving was weak.

The writers do want us to root for Sofia and Chava to be together but I'm gettin tired of hearing how much they love each other all the time. We get it, now find more original dialogue.

I want to see more Paco and Sophia bonding. I like the scenes of them together and we haven't really seen anything from them "bonding" like they said they would. I like Paco and think he has a real commanding presence when he's in a scene.

Peralta is going to clean up LOOSE ENDS down the road!

I'm looking forward to watching Araceli dropping the pregnancy bomb on Chava & Sofia's reaction to it!

Yeah Bryan---For a short time Lucas went into boxing and did well but he soon found out he was involved in the mafia with fixed fights and so he got out.

WTF with Mathais and Hovette? She is no hotter for a chick than he is for a guy. Kick that gold digging ho to the curb.

If nobody has mentioned it from an earlier episode (i have not been too closely watching) it seems Lucas's father was a boxer, too. In a conversation between Miguelina and Rosa in Frday's episode, Rosa talked about going to his "peleas" (fights) with him.

Jarifa

Kirby, as for Renzi & his co-hort: something tells me they won't make it to the Gran Final!

Peralta is getting impatient with them over the slow dragging process of the neighborhood being sold!

Thanks so much, Xlnt! I got a giggle out of your boat/yacht comparison, and you were reading my mind about that awkward kiss! Anyhoo, that was a total bust for Peralta.

Jarifa- Yes. We knew about Lucas' boxer dad almost from the beginning. Remember that medal he carried around all the time? It was his dad's boxing medal.

What are the chances that now that bot Marisol and Oliver got to beat up their rival that they'll let it go? Hmmm... not much. I thought it was funny that almost all of Marisol's memories of Lucas were of HER pushing herself onto him, much of that time while he was dating or hung up on Dani. And then she goes right to her mama and accuses Dani of being the "ofrecida" who served herself up on a platter for Lucas. Other way around, girl.

Research bill gates yacht. It's a large apartment building.

Vivi, thanks for filling me in. I don't remember any of that. As I said, I haven't been "watching" all too closely, :)

Jarifa

Thanks for the recap xInt! "Fragrant Ghost of Octavio" has me cracking up! That line is gold!

Chava needs to introduce "Hovette" (good one Kirby!) to Peralta. She would be all over him like he wishes Sofia would be.

Peralta has been forced to go in and do the dirty work he relied on Renzi and Patprick to do. He may as well dispose of those two

Vivi: Thank you for remembeting whst a pushy little turd Marisol was waaaay back when. She has never been nice. Reminds me of Araceli dumping Chava then blaming Sofia for stealing him. Marisol swooped in on Lucas and now Daniela is the tramp?
