Que Te Perdone Dios #34 It's a party but not for everyone 03/06/2015
The two sisters bicker, Efigenia is angry and she tells her sister that the mechanic only visits her out of obligation because she paid off his bail, these two are having a good old cat fight over hurt feelings and I can't be bothered to care, next!
Mateo has returned to town and everyone is there to greet him,in fact they have planned a party to celebrate his return. Mateo blows everyone out of the water when he announces that he also has a surprise for them, he has returned a married man! And who did he marry? Slutty Diana. The idiot is totally unaware of how angry Fausto is and Abigail is left in tears. Mateo just stands there with a stupid grin on his face, no one notices that Abi has left to lick her wounds. Side note: Renata looks hot.
Mac is dressed in her sexy maid outfit, she "comforts" Abi and tells her she never wanted her to get hurt-that's why she was against her having feelings for Mateo, in the end the boss never marries the help. Then she unleashes a whopper of a lie- she tells Abi that she's sick, and she won't bother getting surgery because she'd rather die a "whole" woman than be mutilated, she makes Abi promise to stay and Abi agrees. Oh, she also manages to get her to help serve the guests at the party.
Abi goes to see Renata who understands the pain the girl is suffering through, she tells her that they can go back to the city and Abi tells her that she can't go, but won't tell Renata why. I'm so upset you guys. Abi has on this great dress and ugly ass shoes, why Abi, why?!
Mac meets with Fausto, she's done what he asked her to do, Abi won't go anywhere-the quality of the video I saw was kinda sucky, so I was unable to really here what these to hell demons had to say, feel free to add in the comments what the conversation was!
The two catty sisters have finished arguing when a car pulls up and a handsome (?) man steps out, it's aunt Mia and Dianas brother Julian, god that woman is still wearing that awful fur coat in what apperars to be the middle of a warm day, isint she sweating buckets under there? At any rate, I guess she fills them in on Mateo and Diana getting married because we get a scene later in which he two women discuss the fact that Diana is a ho with no shame. However they are still going to the party because they can't miss the show.
Lucio is being an ass, as per usual. Amanda tries to give him good solid advice by telling him that his son will learn to love and respect him not because of who he rubs elbows with but by his actions. She tells him to be a good example for the boy and he tells her that there's a hige difference between a foreman and a maid, and that she should take her advice and stuff it. Umm. no dude. At the end of the day you're still the help, like Amanda, so whatever.
Simona and Tono go to the party, she wants to welcome back Mateo and say "hi" to Renata, her son does not want to go but she finally gets him to agree to go with her.
Elsewhere Constanza is freaking out because Renata did not take her with her to the hacienda.
The party starts and Abi is out serving the guests-no one tells Renata this. Mateo comes out and introduces everyone to his new wife, then, the idiot tries to talk to Abi to "catch up" is Spanish there's a saying "eres o te haces" which basically means "are you stupid or just pretending?"-seriously, how can he be smart enough to be a doctor but soooooo stupid when it comes to dealing with women?
He knows Abi loves him, and he shows up, announces that he got married in secret and then expects to chat her up? Did he lack oxygen at birth?! Abi tells him there's nothing to talk about and takes off, a while later Helena, who is sharing a table with Renata wonders out loud why Abi is wearing a maids outfit and serving guests. Renata says that's not happening and goes to get Abi- just the Diana calls Abi over and requests she get her a drink. Ummm, a hell to the naw (Whitney Huston speak for Hell no).
Renata and Fausto say that Abi is NOT the help and that the party is also for her because she got her degree, then Fausto calls Lucio over to bring Abi her gift, and this is where my video ends, I'll be back later with the rest of the recap, enjoy!

"no one notices that Abi has left to lick her wound" was spot on. She looked as though her world crashed around her as indeed it has. Having her heart broken wasn't enough apparently as Macaria's lie has now devastated her spirit. What a wonderful "mother". I had absolutely no idea that was the gist of their conversation so thank you for explaining that crucial exchange.
"Seriously, how can he be smart enough to be a doctor but soooooo stupid when it comes to dealing with women?" said it all Eli. The man has intelligence but no common sense. Will someone please tell me why we are supposed to favor him over Diego?
And Fausto succeeded in taking the spotlight away from Diana by showcasing Abi's scholastic accomplishment. His plan was further enhanced by the vision of her in that drop dead gorgeous dress. I'm quite sure it was that memory rather than Abi's academic prowess that stayed with the guests long after the party ended.
I thought Fabian Robles looked hawt.
And I agree, I don't see any point or purpose to the two sisters storyline. They have a one dimensional storyline and even their boy toys have appeared to have tired of them.
Looking forward to Part 2. Thanks Eli!
Diana
your great part two tomorrow and I may be putting my foot in my mouth because without part two of the recap, I may be way off base but I can't stop thinking these thoughts about Friday's episode, so here goes. If I am completely off base, please tell me. Here goes---
It seemed obvious, at least to me anyway that Abigail was not happy with rapist devil dogs gift to her. She didn't want it. I was screaming out inside---don't let devil dog push you around. If you don't want his gift--refuse it in no uncertain terms, don't just go upstairs and cry about it. Three things, refuse it. If he insists,
on the way upstairs there is a big water fountain. OOPS! It slipped out of my hand into the fountain. Oh well, I guess that I can't wear devil dogs dress tonight. Another thing that I would have LOVED, LOVED, LOVED to have seen. When Abi went upstairs
there were two ladies with her. One was smaller than Abi and so it wouldn't work but the other lady was about Abi's size. Abi should have given the tress to the other lady and have her wear it. Oh! sorry Fausto, this just isn't my style and so I gave it to ???. That would have been the scene of the century to watch Devil dogs reaction to that. I think that he would get the message that he wasn't liked and that nothing he can do would ever change that.
How far am I off base?
the gringo
I loved the Hawt Fabian Robles,he will surely cause tons of troubles for the Cugar Sisters but Jesus Christ is he hot! I hope he wont turn into one of Faustos accomplices
and be a powerful force against him ,in the name of Truth
I hated how Ren was eating Fausto's manipulations and his nice words,i thought she was smarter than that ,she shouldnt have even come just call Benito or Diego to drive Abi to the Ball ,Amy could have easily took care of Ren and Connie. The fact that she did not even notice Faustos new "affection" towards Abi was cringe worthy too
I also HATED how Mac lied so coldly to Abi,feigning illness for personal gain is just not cool, its one of the cruelest lies ever that you could ever utter to a child. It reminds me of Graceless from Robo atleast she got ousted by Mad Dim ,fell of a cliff and is now a homeless person!
I had the same question as you. I don't know if anything specific happened but am thinking Tono is stil just heartbroken over Freddy's death. Maybe it put his affair with Efi in perspective. Just an affair, especially as she never wanted to be seen in public with him. Only my hunch.
Diana
Was Toño already ignoring Efi at the event where Freddy died? I thought maybe he was. Is it possible he doesn't want anyone to get suspicious about the affair?
I do think he has definitely cooled toward her. Not sure if his feelings have changed or if he is concentrating on his family - Simona seems to be a top priority now, and putting other facets of his life on hold now.
Count, I thought Efi seemed genuinely hurt when he rebuffed her last night. Perhaps he is more than just sex to her. Not sure.
Diana
Maybe Efi is really starting to fall for him. It makes sense if Toño's priorities have shifted. I do hope the truth about Freddy's death is revealed eventually.
I'm still shaking my head in disbelief of Abi letting Fausto push her around. If you don't want a rapist's gift then don't accept it. Throwing it in the fountain would have been great but going upstairs to cry wasn't.
Toughen up Abi.
the gringo
Eli spot on about how dense Mat is about Abi's feelings. Their last encounter was her saying "a thousand times yes, I love you," and he thinks Abi, he and Diana can all be great friends.
What is with Max, thinks he's such a big shot throwing his step-father's seemingly endless money around? And Lucio has fallen so badly from my graces. He can't even be civil to a fellow servant. Although it's not like Vicenta likes him and was telling him something nicely (even though she was right).
I agree that Julio is looking pretty hawt, and I really don't usually like facial hair. I was wondering if he'll shave at some point for some meeting or to alter how he looked in prison. Btw, how is he supposed to be "helping" Diana? Girl can take care of herself, or not, but she won't be listening to anyone else. But Julio seems to like being with the ladies. That won't cause any problems.
I think the same way about Toño, that his brother's death affected him and he doesn't want to run around doing irresponsible behavior anymore. He feels that his being irresponsible at the fair led to Freddy's demise. He insinuated before that he didn't care much for his lady, so it probably wasn't too hard to throw her over.
I was surprised that Renata gave even the merest positive acknowledgement of Fausto's behavior toward Abi. I thought if anybody would call BS it would be her. I was also surprised that she could pull off that low cut dress! Wow! But does she know that she is dressed like that?
Finally, I too would be thrilled to see some more comments! But I appreciate the ones there are, to be sure. I have speculated that many viewers are in the Eastern time zone, and that this show is too late. I know it would be for me if I were there. Plus, to be honest, I am not looking forward to seeing old Fausto pursuing Abi. I know some others have already bailed because of his behavior towards Renata. I have been tempted to switch to Sombra! The main thing that is keeping me on this show for the moment is the schedule, and I'm hoping Julio and Laisha will add some more interest. Fausto as the town choker of women is done for me, and he actually looks significantly older and frailer to me since the show began, so I don't even find him good looking anymore.
But no matter what, I'm always grateful to the re appears and commenters. Thank you!
Looking forward to seeing Fabian. Not looking forward to seeing old Fair to drooling over Abi. Blech!
You brought up an excellent point about Julio's role in this. Are they pretending Diana and Julio are siblings? I thought I heard the word "hermano" at some point and clearly Julio knows all about Fausto. I too was surprised by Renata's behavior. She really doesn't smell anything fishy?
Abi was like as straightforward as you can get when she told Mat how she felt. He is blind and dumb.
I think it's funny that fugitive Julio is telling Diana (could the dress get any shorter) that she's being too reckless. Looking forward to more of him. Looks like he'll be charming the ladies, specifically the E sisters, who are a good target since they are so wealthy.
I like Tono better since his brother's death. He seems more mature and less of a jerk. He might actually be a good option now for Juanita or Teodora. Either one could help lift his spirits.
Abi just went right for it again- kissing Mateo, telling him again that she loves him, and telling him straight up to get a divorce!
Speaking of divorces-- Padre Hottie is getting on my nerves trying to convince Ren that Fausto wants to make their marriage work, marriage is sacred, blah, blah, blah, and she should move back. I don't know why she just doesn't burst his bubble and tell him her loving husband physically and sexually abused her. So, SHUT UP, Padre!
Diana
Well, the 33rd annual Premios TvyNovelas awards show came and went last night, and I thought I'd share the results with you all. If it's okay, I'll post this on more than one page, so that it can hopefully reach the eyes of all who are interested...
Basically, in total 'Yo no creo en los hombres' led the awards with 7 wins (out of a total of 14 nominations), followed by 'Lo que la vida me robo' with 5 (out of 13), then 'Mi corazon es tuyo' with 4 (out of 10), and 'Que pobres tan ricos' with 2 (out of 8).
Interestingly, 'El color de la pasion' was shut out, despite its 12 nominations and, though 'Mi corazon es tuyo' (which, personally, makes my stomach churn) only won 4 awards, it did take home 'Best Telenovela'.
