Que Te Perdone Dios#64: Crazy Connie Is The Only Sane One Around?
Parte 1 of 3~~
Back at La Enramera, aka La Enramada, La Ramera In Chief is snowing over her MIL, Helena once again and ensuring Hellie gives guilting Mateo into sticking around for “his” baby another try. (Viewerville, after realizing the implications of a wife giving birth to one’s actual brother is gross beyond words and will need more than a shower to get clean from this one.)
The next morning while Diego and Benito race to the bank to try saving Abigail’s hacienda from being sold out from under, Lucio and Fausto sign the papers making them the true, new owners of the place. Viewerville learns that in addition to Perferio’s intervention there was a favor the banker, Justiniano, owed to Feisty from a while back that he was repaying. It remains to be seen if Lucio really bothered reading what he signed or if he can read beyond barely literate level at all.
Over at the calaboose, Simona learns that Toño is looking for a second job to pay off her debt to Feisty. He asks why his mother needed all that money. Then Violeta tells Simi that she’s left Marcelino because he beat her the night before. She offers her home to her and tells her she’ll feel better having an adult looking after her son, also: a win-win for both.
Across town, Efigenia and Julian-lio is “sparking” with Efigenia when there’s a knock at the door. She hides but overhears the conversation Toni has with Juli. He wants Juli to give his mama a good reference to the judge when the time comes. She doesn’t say why, but she knows the kid to be a decent and hardworking son and she has so much respect for Simona as a family friend of sorts, that she wants him to help the kid out as much as possible. (Viewerville again needs to take a shower after this scene, knowing that Effy’s been doin’ the nasty with both father and son.)
At Renata’s rancho, again she’s after Vicenta to tell her why she doesn’t approve of Diego marrying Abigail and again she gets the run-around. Abi’s not in love with him and it will only spell disaster in the long run.
Okay, it’s a half-truth, but still a run-around considering the real reason is that Abi’s Diego’s half-niece. (Again another yi-i-i-s-s-s-sh moment.)
At the hospital in Ciudad de Valle, a patient presents Mat with an opportunity to practice his eye-sight curing specialty. If it’s a success, he can use this new method on Ren. He asks Dr. Patricio to assist in the operating room. Pats refuses, period.
A bit later, back at Simona’s place, Marcelino bullies his way in and accosts Violeta. Tony lays a left hook right jab onto the jerkwad and nearly lays him out. Marcelino threatens Tony and his mother’s future in court. “—Your mother had very good reasons to kill Mia Montero. Violeta, you tell him what’s what.” She has to admit that Mia was blackmailing her about something, but won’t say what.
Julian-lio, meanwhile, pays a visit to the jail and has a meaningful, let’s-clear-the-air chat with Simona about his really being Tony’s father. (Slime alert!) Tony turns out to be the result of Julio’s losing his virginity long ago with a dancer friend of Mia’s who got pregnant out of the deal.
Feisty and Lucio come back to Ren’s to give her and Abi the bad news that Abi lost her hacienda due to Diego’s faulting on the last payment. Ren gets so mad at the idea that she tells Feisty she’s really-really-really divorcing him this time and he’s being kicked out cuz he’ll no longer be running her affairs!!

Parte 2~~
Feisty convinces Abi and Ren to chat with him further about La Enramera in his office. Lucio is sent home like a good little boy and they talk en familia. Look at the documents for yourself, he tells them. I put the rancho in your name Abigail. I kept close watch on the payments and new even before Lucio and his idiot son approached me about taking it over, that Diego had missed a payment. Your place was never in danger of being lost. You’ll see a settlement letter that says your hacienda mortgage is paid in full. Ren asks Abi if Feisty’s telling the truth (for once?) as she reads the documents through and finally affirms aloud that she’s still the owner of the rancho.
El Lio de Juli didn’t give a damn about having a kid, he tells Simi--at least, not until he came to this one-horse pueblo and met a kid that was the spittin’ image of that woman from his past. So yeah, Mia did blackmail her. Tony was the reason why. That’s been cleared up. He’s got to know if she was the one who killed her. Simi snarls back at him and swears she had nothing to do with Mia’s death (not that she hadn’t had more than enough reason to at least kick the bitch in her teeth once or twice after she’d been stabbed and was begging for help). Simi says that’s not to say that in order to protect her own that she couldn’t have reached her limit in that regards eventually. With that threat she warns him to stay the heck away from HER son y punto.
Back at Ren’s rancho once again, Feisty explains that Lucio and his numb-nuts of an uncle had more money than sense and thought they could scoop up property that had been handed down through his family for generations, buying it like another bottle of beer! No way! It was given to Feisty when he reached majority and he’s making sure that in that same way Abigail takes it and keeps on to it now! Ren wonders how he’ll handle their… ahem… negative reaction when they find out they’ve been hoodwinked that way. Fausto will manage it in his own way when it happens. What’s important here is that neither of them will be able to challenge a thing and since the note is paid in full, the bank cannot interfere any further.
What’s more, all was done according to law. Abi and Ren are speechless. The only thing Feisty suggests is that she reconsiders keeping Diego on as administrator of the hacienda as he obviously isn’t cut out for it. And, in that regard she also should rethink marrying the guy. No problems there, Fausto, she replies. She’s called it off between her and Diego; too much negative outweighing the positive.
Across town now, Tony shows up at the cantina at El Lio de Juli’s invitation. I want to know why Mia Montenero was blackmailing my mom. “—Have a shot of tequila first and then I’ll tell you. You’re going to need it to hear what I have to tell you.” Tony obliges and sits. “—I like your attitude, your rebelliousness, your courage. I wouldn’t expect less from somebody who is a blood relative.” “—Your blood?” “—Simona is nothing to you. She’s only the woman who raised you. You are my son; I am your father.”
Ren goes looking for Feisty up on the rooftop patio and finds him there. She apologizes for thinking the worst of him as she always has. He tells her he’s gotten used to her always doubting his good intentions. (Deep doo-doo alarm!!) Ren (say it aint so!!) promises to put her best effort forward now to believe in him from now on. That is, in spite of all that’s piled up against him (YEARS worth) and the fact that she thought he’d told her the truth about killing Pablo all those years ago. If Macaria hadn’t told her that he’d been the one to kill Pablo. She believed the woman! “—Is it true that my father confessed to being the one that killed Pablo?” He sidesteps the truth on that one. “—Why insist on hurting yourself further?” She talks herself into believing it by recalling all the rotten things her father did prior to Pablo’s death. “—The truth was in front of me the entire time and I refused to see it.” He’s thrilled she’s going to make the effort, “mi amor.”
Ren thanks him from the bottom of her heart for protecting her daughter the way he did. She’s of age now, he assures Ren, and she rightly handed it over to her. He wasn’t about to contradict her actions. She politely acquits herself and kisses him on the cheek affectionately. (NO!!!!! She’s slipping over to the DARK SIDE!)
Diego and Abi meet up at the river. She tells him she knows already about the missing mortgage payment. Diego says he hasn’t the nerve to look her in the eye he’s so mortified. Not to worry, but what did Benito do with the money, she asks him. It was stolen from him. He’s just as mortified over the whole affair as I am and even came with me to the bank to try to fix things with them but they wouldn’t give us a bit of information! She tells him not to worry, that Fausto took care of covering the missing payment before the bank could sell it off [poner en remate] and she’s not lost the hacienda after all. The only thing is that he asked her to take over as administrator now. “--But that will leave me and Benito without a job now!” She promises him she’ll make sure that does not happen.
Back at the hacienda, Ren tells Crazy Connie that she’s been mistaken all these years about Feisty. He really didn’t kill Pablo. Yes he did, she screams. Have you lost all your senses? (I’m supposed to be the crazy one here!) You lost your eyesight because of him! No, Ren corrects her, that was Mac’s idea to take the child and run off. That damned woman is the one who’s cause all her misfortune. “--So when are you going to confront her, then?” Soon, Ren answers.
That evening at La Enramera, Diego and Beni get the farmhands together and tell them about the changes taking place at the hacienda. Fausto’s going to be running things from now on and we’ll all be left jobless. He and Beni take turns at taking the blame. Just then Fausto shows up and says that nobody is going to be left without a job. The only change is that he’s the administrator. (Like that’s going to be such a relief.)
Aftwerwards, Hellie asks Feisty what he was talking to all the ranch hands about. He tells her to mind her own bidnez. She abruptly tells him she was only asking a harmless question and that he hadn’t any reason to talk to her like that. Viewerville is drop-jaw impactado to hear him actually agree with her. “—Since you live here you should be in the know: Abigail asked me to be the new administrator of La Enramada from now on.” (Just a little bit of a twist on the truth here, that’s all.) She asks if he and Diego had a fight or what. Oh, no. It’s just that Diego really isn’t capable of doing the job. He made too many mistakes. Because of him Abi was just about to lose the place, ya know? “—However, to be fair, I made sure that nobody would lose their jobs and told them all that they could stay on.” It’s sure strange to hear that coming from you, she admits. He joshes a bit and says he was only going ahead with what he knew Abi was going to ask him to do anyway. (Seems he likes playing the good guy; he just doesn’t know how to really be one is all.)
Feisty asks what she wanted to discuss with him. She tells him Mat is asking for a divorce again. It’s probably because Abi’s, like you said, not going to marry Diego and so he’s got it in his head again she’s free….. “—He never told me who he was head over heels in love with, but now it makes sense and I had suspected as much. It’s Abigail, isn’t it?” She smiles broadly, happily even. (WTF?) “—Yes!”

I love how Julio found something out and within minutes was revealing it to the interested party. Such a relief! So he is only 14-15 years older than Tono, huh? He said he was seduced at the age of 14 by a dancing girl, and I figure in the nine months that followed there's a good chance (75% to be exact) that he turned 15. And then he tells Tono just like that! No delays, no intrigue. My prediction is that Tono is going to take it hard and turn against Simona for a while. people just don't appreciate being lied to, not even for "their own good." That seems to be as true in novelas as in real life. Anyway, I think Tono will join forces with Julio for a while, who seems to be genuinely interested in claiming him. So life could be to be hard for Tono for the foreseeable future. Wait until when/if they start swapping stories about Epifenia!!
-Abi's bustier
-Fausto working his magic recovering from the purchase of the Enramada. Both Ren and Abi are pleased with him. Question: is it still genuinely in Abi's name, or is it in Lucio's? I can't figure out which one of them is getting cut out (or both)
-Fausto is keeping the Enramada staff, including Benito and Diego
I was surprised by how quickly Julio-an came out and told Tono that he's his bio-dad. I wonder how he'll spin the rest of the tale? I really hope Tono doesn't turn his back on Simona. She doesn't deserve that.
TN4ever- I loved Abi's bustier too. Loved the graphic pattern and design. Just not sure it's ranch appropriate. Renata was also wearing a cool graphic design dress.
Doesn't Abi still think Fausto is her daddy after that overheard conversation many weeks ago? That's also the reason why she's so eager to believe he's a good guy.
Considering that most of Abi's workers were fugitives from the harsh treatment of Fausto and Lucio from Ren's hacienda, I can't imagine they are pleased about the new management.
So, what did Lucio sign at the bank? And what did Fausto do with Lucio/Max's money? Did he really just take their money to pay off the loan and robbed them of the lands?
I am now liking Connie better because she is finally getting herself to full control instead of acting like a rebellious twat. Still wonder when Connie shall get to see Bruno's grave.
So now the Ramada is in the hands of Fausto and Lucio or in Abi's hands and just getting administrated by Fausto?? That quite brings me one giant headache
, my bet is the latter since Faust is not a damn fool to trust someone who attempted to kill him right? And we should not forget the fact that he is obsessed till death sets up apart with Ab's
