Lo Imperdonable #32 Tue 6/30/15 Ana Perla Crashes the party
Bullets because doing back to back recaps is hard:
- Replay of Botel asking Nanci to leave because he does not want her to give Magdalena false hope.
- Magda is not happy about the way he treated Nanci but Botel tells her that getting her hopes up will only make it harder for her to recover.
- Magdalena decides that she is going to shower Veronica with all the love in that she can't give her daughter, Botel tells her that may not be a good idea and we all shout #shutupbotel!
- The old goat, I mean Crescinsio tells Ana Perla that he is going to marry her off to whomever he picks, cause this is 1875,yo.
- Ana Perla tells him he can't do such a thing but he's all like, "yes, I can, that's why I'm your grandfather"....so that's what grandparents do? Julio takes the whole scene in, sigh, he's perfect, right? I'm kinda wishing they could have cast him as a potential love intrest for Veronica, cause Santelmo is a jerk, speaking of Santelmo:
- Suddenly he's gotten himself on a high-horse, he tells Veronica all about the Cresencios plans for Ana Perla, Veronica tells him that they need to do something to help her, because she is in love with Pablo (meh), Martin says they will do whatever it takes to help Ana Perla.
- Pablo is in Mexico City where he writes a letter to AP telling her that he is free.
- AP ran away from home-kinda. She tells Julio to tell gramps that he could not find her, she does not want to go home, and she does not want to see the old man.
- Veronica is all over Martin because he fixed the blender, just as he is about to get some nookie AP comes to the door and tells them that her gradfather wants to marry her off to a stranger.
- Vero and Martin tell her they wont allow that to happen and Veronica tells her that once she turns 18-in two months, no one can force her to do anything, AP, had no idea. Seriously? Are these girls that shltered?
- Old goat goes to look for AP at Raymundas house but she's not there, the guy is this close to to asking for an Amber alert. The search continues.
- AP left the Santelmo hovel to go to the church because she did not want Martin and Veronica to get in trouble with her grandfather.
- In Mexico, Emiliano and Claudia return to the super lame club and they talk about Veronica's poor living conditions, Emi is outraged that Martin is not treating her like a queen, they also talk about Nanci and her community-her people have been around so long that the tribe doesn't even have a name.
- Emi can't wait to meet Nanci.
- Vero and Martin share some cuddles, they talk about Veronica's childhood dreams, she always wanted a family and children, a good job and a good man to love her (sadly she's stuck with Martin)
- They talk about what to name the babies and then they practice how to make them.
- AP is still missing, and Cres tells everyone what his plans for AP are. Blanquita puts her foot in her mouth by suggesting that AP might love someone else.
- AP cries in the church, she wants to spend her life with Pablo, umm she's known him for like a minute, right?
- Pablo is talking to himself, he is like so going to marry AP.
- Polo, that kid is the only one is his family with brains.
- Joaquin and Polo and Onyx go in search of AP, Blanquita puts her foot in her mouth again by suggesting AP might be with Veronica.
- Raymunda questions Blanquita: who is AP in love with?
- Bombshell: We learn that Emiliano is not Selma's son! But Selma loves him as if he were her child.
- Emi digs for info on Veronicas home life. Claudia tells Emi that she does not think Vero and Martin are happy.
- Veronica wants to horse ride, and Martin promises her a new home.
- Nicolas and Virginia go out for a bite, is she hitting on him? Virginia tells him that Claudia is a gold digger. Takes one to know one Ginny.
- Claudia tells Emi not to get her in trouble with Martin.
- Hector tells Ginny not to worry about Emi, he is a big boy and still way into Vero, it will be hard for any other woman to get her claws into him.
- Emi is going to Mina Escondida!
- Dinner party, with fruit wine!
- Veronica and Magdalena bond.
- Blanquita gets grilled.
- Cres crashes the party, he wants Santelmo and Botel to return AP to him!
- Cresensio has a medical emergency, but he does not die, because Botel comes to his rescue.
- Oh sweet baby Jesus, more of Claudia singing, someone make it stop.
- Claudia and Emi are going on a road trip to the green hell.
- Joaquin is the only man worth anything in this novela.
- Well, add Julio to that list, the guy is a winner.
- Nicolas tells Emi that he needs professional help, word.
- The Castelo-Pardo fam finds out that Emi is going to Mina Escondida

A forced arranged marriage raises my hackles but Ana Perla is almost 18, educated, lives on easy street, especially compared to 99.99999% of the other girls (um, make that everyone) in that or any surrounding town so I don't really care about poor wittle bitty Ana Perla. Isn't there some other worthy cause to throw time and money behind? This is just stupid.
Why hasn't Magdalena thought of projecting her motherly love before to get her outta the funk, like on some inanimate object. Worked for Tom Hanks in Cast Away.
When Martin goes in for a kiss, from the side and the way he holds his neck, looks like he is a lizard bout to eat something, kinda off-putting for me. Veronica likes it though, so whatever.
It's pitiful watching Julio, now that's a guy needs some lovin

Yay! Great recap, Eli. Loved the bullet point style.
We had already learned the bombshell that Emi is not Salma's bio child. I wonder if his "dead" mother is about to make an appearance since she/Emi's parentage has now been brought up a few times in the last few weeks. Why else would what's her name/Mariana's mom question how Salma could love her 50, er...30 year old step-son, because he's another woman's child?

I loved "#shutupbotel". We'll have to start doing a count of how many times we have to say it when he's on screen.
I cringed when I heard Emi and Claudia were off to a karaoke. I knew it meant we'd have to listen to Claudia sing again. I'm glad we were spared having to listen to Emi sign while drunk.
Emi really does need to put down the booze. I loved when Nicolas told him that he needed professional help. Nicolas is right.
It'll be interesting to see what happens if Emi does pay Veronica and Martin a visit at the hovel.

So now we know what happened to the sleeves of Claudia's blouse – she exchanged them for one of Nanciyaga's special necklaces. Now that the writers have made such a big deal of the sleeves, they are sure to turn up again.

@Eli - great recap. The bullet points cover all the major stuff from this episode. I just want to add a couple of details:
First, Uni once again pulled out the scissors and cut roughly 10 seconds at the end of the scene where Martin and Veronica decided to "practice making babies". Ten seconds doesn't sound like much, but they were the "passionate" portion of that scene. Anyway, since I'm recapping #33 tonight, I will include in my recap a clip showing the missing 10 seconds from this scene.
Second, the "Malena and Vero" bonding scene was very sweet and telling. Malena tells Vero of her need to bestow her "motherly love" on someone, and Vero offers to be the recipient of that love, noting that her tia Salma was never quite motherly with her. Malena then tells Vero that she will be "the best daughter in the world," and without missing a beat Vero says "....y del universo" - prompting Malena to remember her little daughter's voice saying the same thing to her in response to the same comment.

Pierre also babbled something and mentioned Teo's dad which the other hotel clerk (Romeo?) heard and now he suspects that Teo's dad is alive.
NovelaMaven -- Yes. I'm glad it was revealed what happened to the sleeves of the blouse. How strange that Nanciyaga would want them.
When I saw the other cute hotel clerk, it made me once again wonder what AP sees in Pablo. The way she and Blanca gushed about Pablo when he stepped into town, you wouldn't think there are fine looking specimens around like Julio, Teo, and Romeo.
So we know Vero has mama drama coming, but it looks like Emi May have some mama drama and some point, and Teo will have daddy drama. Just more ways Mejia can drag this story out if needed.
