Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #27 Wed 9/30/15 (Mex 36-37) Fifi is on the run!
Ok, this will have to be quick because I have a million and ten things to get to this morning! Here we go!
Julieta is out of her mind because the eye drops that Fifi brought her are actually a strong form of acid that has caused her to go blind- although I'd much rather she had been struck mute, her screaming drove me close to tears!
Anyhoo, Sergio and Gael rush her to the hospital where the doctor says there's a chance she will recover but then again she could stay in this state forever! Sergio tries to make her feel better by telling her that he will be her eyes and she says that's not true, he will leave her to go out and party, and dump her like everyone else. He promises that wont happen and kisses her hand, Anibal shows up right at that moment and he and Sergio start to fight, the doctor has to come in and tell them to behave!
Anibal blames Sergio and Co. for what happened to Julieta, none of this would be going on if Sergio did not meddle in their affairs, and you know what? He's going to the police to press charges against Fifi! And so he does.
Back at the ranch Fifi says she did nothing wrong but Federica convinces Eloisa to lock Fifi up while the authorities are called, Eloisa asks Dante to keep an eye on Fifi and he takes Fifi and locks her up in her room as a distraught Gigi looks on. Federica keeps making a case against Fifi, it's clear she says, that Fifi wanted revenge against Julieta, she brings up the ring incident and says that Fifi is to blame for Anibal and Julieta breaking up, she also reminds everyone that Fifi and Julieta had a nasty spat at breakfast!
BREAKING NEWS:
Dante has a heart, I repeat, Dante has a heart. He and Federica talk over what happened, the eye drops were meant for Eloisa, and Julieta will be fine. Dante says things could backfire and if they do he's not taking the fall for anything, he also feels bad for Fifi, the poor girl looked like a trapped animal! And what if the crime is traced back to them? Fed is not worried, she is now more sure than ever that her father was killed and that Maximo and Eloisa had something to do with it- and she's going to bring the truth to light.
Flashback of Maximo asking Dante to arrange for Fed's dad to have an "accident"!!!
In other news:
Sonia tells Pedro all about the awesome night they had together, he asks for her to refresh his memory because he can't remember a thing! Oh, burn. If I slept with a guy and he then claimed not to remember a thing I'd be pretty insulted! But not Sonia, oh no, she tells him they had an awful good time and then there's a flashback to what actually went down...and it was not good times at ALL. But hey, this is Sonia and she wants to do it again but Pedro is all like "nah, man, I'm good"
Diana has a plan! She's going to become Vitorio's lover and then set a trap for Fifi to catch them together, when Fifi dumps Vitto he will be all hers, bwaaahahahaha. Her mother reminds her ther's plenty of fish in the sea but Diana says she already has her eyes set on a shark. Later, she approaches Vitto with the offer to be his lover but he rejects her.
Back to Fifi:
Gael tries to find video footage that could clear Fifi but the cameras don't show Fifi ever going into Eloisas room. Gigi is freaking out!
Pedro comes to the rescue! He goes to see a locked up Fifi and tells her that she's in very serious trouble! Benito shows up and calls Pedro a coward for allowing Fifi to be treated like a criminal. Pedro says he is doing everything he can to help and the determine that it's best if she goes into hiding while the situation is resolved.
Vitto arrives at the ranch and Gigi tells him what's happened, he says they will set Fifi free and when they arrive in her room they realize she is gone, Fifi is on the run!
Benito and Pedro have taken her to Benito's parents house, she can't go to a hotel because hotels have cameras and people that will sell her out.
Later at the ranch Pedro tells Eloisa that Fifi is innocent.
I've gotta run because one of my clients got hit with a lawsuit and she waited 2 weeks to tells us and now I have to run around trying to find someone to help her, please add anything I might have missed in the comments section.

Thank you Princess Juju for this quick and pretty recap. Uni keeps cutting scenes and passing 2 episodes in one. They cutted several scenes of Gael and Gianna, Fiorella and Pedro, some from Osvaldo and Sonia. Especially they cutted a scene of Sonia and Osvaldo where she almost faints when she got up from the bed to go and take dinner. Hmmm symptoms of possible pregnancy.
And I also hated the screaming of Julieta, maybe is the direction that is making some actors overact a little bit. Poor Fiorella should look for another job in another place because the Ranch Los Angeles is a nest of snakes and scorpions who never are going to finish harming her.
Oh well Vivi is a novela and all novelas always have stupid things. In the novela of Yo no Creo en Los Hombres almost everybody hates Maria Dolores and blame her for everything. I guess these are the laws of Televisa novelas. The female protagonist has to suffer and cry so much in each scene, each episode and the villains the whole telenovela should do bad stuff to her without being caught.
Vivi, indeed Yo no Creo en Los Hombres is a great novela.
J, Dante is in love with Federica and she manipulates him. Giannna and Gael are a very sweet couple and I love them too.
J oh well love is blind but yes Federica is very crazy and has a lot of emotional problems.
And Oh my God this ranch is almost a jail and grandma is like a sargent. Living there is like living on hell.

Reynaldo was afraid of the consequences if they have another run-in with Vittorio. Adele agreed to have Fiorella stay as long as necessary despite this.
Why can't they just have her stay in what used to be Tania's apartment? Isn't that vacant or was it completely emptied out?
Julieta kept on about what a nasty horrible bitch Fiorella is and I dearly hope this bitch stays blind for that. She is far nastier than Fiorella could ever be on her worst day.
I knew that nothing happened in Pedro's room that night. The problem now will be that if Sonia ends up pregnant she will point the finger at him. The baby would more likely have Italian DNA than Mexican based on what we've seen lately, but either way Assvaldo will be on the warpath.
It is about time that Gael and Rox got on the case. They were framed for other things and at least he is capable of seeing that Fiorella is incapable of doing something like this even to that bitch Julieta.

Thank you Eli/Juju! I watched this mainly in ffwd last night, because it was just too much for me, especially Julieta. I did watch the two flashbacks. Glad to know Pedro did not do the deed with Sonia (and mumbled Fi's name the whole time). Intrigued to learn that Max had Dante "take care of" his brother, and makes me wonder even more what his game is with Fed.

Thanks Princess Juju...the recap had a wonderful breathless quality to it, just right for the fast-paced drama, the horrendous accusations and the slimy sub-plots (Sonja, I'm looking at you.)
Federicka gets more unbearable every day and Abuelita's voice is like chalk screeching on a blackboard. Close to unendurable. And dang! I was hoping Diana's plan would work.

I ask this question after only seeing Fi administer the drops. I haven't seen anything since...but didn't the drops only make it into ONE eye?? So she's blinded in BOTH?

The more that I think about Eloisa believing that Fi is behind the acid in the drops, the more I shake my head in disbelief.
1) Fi had never seen her drops before and had never been asked to administer them before. How would she know enough about them to get an exact same bottle for her acid drops?
2) How would Fi magically know that she would be interrupted putting the acid drops in Eloisa's eyes, that Juli would have an allergy attack, and that Eloisa would order her to put the acid drops into Juli's (her supposed nemesis) eyes?
3) Why isn't Eloisa's first suspect the woman who the day before was ranting at her about avenging her father's death-- the same woman who conveniently went upstairs and found the real drops (Fed)?
Is the old lady senile or just stupid?

I guess I'm not including Pedro in this because he wasn't there to see Fed's meltdown the day before and wasn't there when the whole acid in the eye thing happened. Eloisa was right there in the middle of it all.
Once this is cleared up I think Fiorella will end up with Vittorio.... temporarily. Here's hoping the Viagra doesn't work on the wedding night because knowing who this actor is he's in the series for the long haul.
Diana needs to recover her dignity. I am wondering now whether Anibal is the father of her son and if so I hope she nails him for all his dinero.

Ah, but Marla, in Yo No, the Writers have written it well enough that even though the hatred is irrational, it's logical. This is both irrational and ilogocal. The double whammy of head scratching and needing a beanie.

I'm feeling you on Julieta and the screaming. It was just too much, as were the ridiculous accusations that somehow Fi must be behind it all. Ugh.
I was likewise surprised that Dante cared about the potential harm to Julieta and about Fifi being wrongly accused. His flashback there made it seem like he's partly with Fed out of guilt (and shouldn't she be way younger than him, if she was a kid when her dad died and he was already an overgrown juvenile delinquent?)
I snickered at your "Oh, burn." I'm glad they didn't keep us in suspense and were intercutting the flashbacks of what actually happened with Sonia's BS. That was funny, watching her desperately trying to make it sound like the hot night it so totally wasn't!
