Lo Imperdonable #112 Wed 10/21/15
Aaron shows up at the PC
mansion and gives condolences to Ginny for her cousins’ death. He tells her to
ask her adopted dad for the money he wants, but she says she can’t because then
he (Jorge) will think she’s only about the money. Besides the family has had
some problems and she was going to ask a friend for the money. Aaron wants his
money NOW. Ginny gives him a check she stole from Jorge and forges his
signature. Aaron tells gives her a false name to put on the check. Ginny hopes
that after this Aaron will leave her alone. He tells her this is just the
beginning. Aaron leaves and Ginny is
left alone until Chucho comes in. Ginny orders Chucho not to say a word to
Jorge or Emi about Aaron’s visit. Chucho is skeptical because Jorge likes to
know everything that happens at the house. Ginny warns Chucho that if he doesn’t
want any trouble then he better listen. He reluctantly agrees and Ginny leaves
to go back to the office. Chucho thought bubbles why Ginny doesn’t want Jorge
to know about Aaron. Chucho seems to have more brain cells than some of our
other characters.
Manny is getting arrested
in the D.F. He claims he’s innocent. We see Manny being dragged through the bus
station. So far, this is the best scene of the night. The cops tell him that
his fingerprints were found on a stolen molding and that Martin San Telmo is
the one who is pressing charges against him.
Pablo knows she still loves him and
kisses her. She backs away and slaps him. Pablo knows she will always love him.
She says she does love him, but doesn’t know if she will for the rest of her
life. For the sake of her baby she is going to accept Julio as the father of
her child. Pablo is going to demonstrate that he (can be) is the father.
In Mina Escondida Marty is
at home coming out of the shower. He is wearing a white towel. He curls up in
bed and “tells” Vero, “What will I do without you? I feel so empty without you.”
Rebeca and Emi come to
visit Marty. (Why is she still in Mina Escondida?) Anyway they ask how he is.
Hmmm. Well his wife just passed away and people keep telling him to move on.
How do you think he feels? Rebeca tells him that he can’t give up, that life
goes on and he has to move forward. Marty says he feels like he is dying
inside. Emi knows how he feels, but he thinks Rebeca is right. OK, is everyone
trying to hook up Rebeca with Marty or what? Geez people, give the guy some
breathing room. Marty asks why they are there and Rebeca lets him know that she
is staying at Pierre’s hotel. The three of them agree to meet that afternoon at
Marty’s office to discuss business. Rebeca says she is leaving the next day
(thank God). Before leaving she tells Marty that he can count on her for
anything and that she will always be by his side. Seriously? She needs to go. Sorry
folks, this recapper’s rant is hopefully over. So after Rebeca and Emi leave Marty gets a
phone call that Manny has been arrested.
In Pueblo Verde Manny is
behind bars and asking for food. One of the miners from La Perla comes to make
fun of him. Manny says that he treated the miners badly because he was feeling
bad about his grandfathers passing. Yeah right! He convinces the miner that
when he gets out he will treat them better. He will give him money if he gives
Juancho a message. The patio is not privy to that message.
At the hospital Jorge
tells his lawyer about pressing charges against Aaron. Maggie thinks Aaron won’t
stop until she is dead. Meanwhile Aaron goes to cash his check and wants all
CASH. The banker guy tells him that he will have to remove his sunglasses in
order to cash the check. Aaron has fooled the banker into thinking he is blind.
Pablo tells AP that Vero
died in an accident. AP is impactada.
Rebeca goes to visit Vero’s
grave. She knows that Marty and Vero loved each other immensely. She wants Vero’s
help because Marty is slowly letting himself die. She needs Vero to help Marty
get the strength he needs to continue living. She says she respects Vero (NOT)
and wants her blessing to love Marty and help him move on. She asks Vero for a
sign to know that she is not disrespecting her and so that Vero can rest in
peace. (There was no sign).
Back in Pueblo Verde Marty
shows the evidence he has against Manny. The tests that Marty had done are not
good enough for the police official, but he says it’s enough to start an
investigation. And that if they prove that Manny stole the molding, then he is
going to prison. Juancho has been
listening at the doorway and comes in saying that Manny is innocent. He knows
how and when Manny touched the molding, and Marty is lying. Juancho tells this ridiculous story about
Manny going to see Marty to make peace and that when Manny extended his hand
out Marty got really angry and wanted to hit Manny with the molding. Manny had
to defend himself and touched the molding. And that’s how his fingerprints got on there.
Marty denies everything, but the official says it’s his word against Manny’s,
and Manny has Juancho as a witness. Marty tricks Juancho and asks him if this
happened about a month ago and Juancho says yes. Marty catches him in his lie
and says he was in the city a month ago. There is no way he could be in two
places at the same time. Juancho doesn’t know what to do and turns to Manny. The official tells Juancho to leave because
it is clear that he is lying. Manny is a free man, but he is under
investigation and cannot leave town. Marty swears he will prove that Manny is
guilty and he will rot in prison.
Manny walks out of jail
and swears to get even with Marty. He calls Ginny and tells her he is stuck in
Pueblo Verde. They need to find a way to get rid of Marty.
Rebeca arrives at Marty’s
office for their meeting. Emi isn’t there yet. She AGAIN tries to tell him to
move on. He changes the subject. He is going to prove that Manny is guilty. She
tells him to not be consumed by vengeance. She says that sooner or later things
will fall into place. And she is worried about him. He wants to know why she is
worried if she hardly knows him.
Rebeca says she is worried
for Marty because working on a project where Vero was involved can have an effect
on him. He would constantly be reminded of her. He tells her that either way
Vero is always with him. She understands. She puts her hands over his and tells
him that life continues and he needs to move on. She is interrupted by Emi and
Nanci walking in.
Blanquita is painting her
flat when Chelas comes to visit her. He tells her she should find out about
Arturo’s past. She kicks him out. Blanquita goes to see Arturo to ask him about
his past. Art does not want to talk about it. It’s too painful and he is
embarrassed.
Nanci tells Marty that she
sees darkness in his heart. She also sees that he is going to love again, but
more intensely than before. He says she is wrong, but Emi chimes in and says
that Marty knows that Nanci doesn’t lie.
Maggie is with Botel. He
is very tired and sore. He realizes that he cannot feel his legs and that he
will be an invalid. He doesn’t want to live like that. The doctor gives him a
sedative. He doesn’t want to be a burden on Maggie. She insists that she will
always be by his side. She loves him and is the only person she wants at her
side. He slowly falls to sleep.
Rebeca tells Nanci that
she wanted to meet her. She wants to work with her to make some jewelry
designs. Nanci agrees, but for now she has to go. Nanci tells her patron that
she sees love is getting close to him again, but that love has different faces
(as she glances at Rebeca), and she hopes that he doesn’t get confused. Marty doesn’t seem to be listening to Nanci.
Marty, Emi and Rebeca
conclude their meeting. Marty assures them they will have the gold they need.
Claudia comes in and asks Marty how he is. She was worried because she had not
heard from him. He says he’s fine. Emi and Claudia leave to go talk with the
miners. Before they go Rebeca tells Claudia that she would like to talk with
her about remodeling her house. Left alone Rebeca tells Marty that he needs to
eat and get rest because he doesn’t look good. (And she knows this because she
knows Marty so well) He tells her he will, but he prefers staying busy. They
need to continue with the Vero collection project.
Avances: Marty has questions about Vero’s accident. Dr.
Dan tells Vero it’s a shame she didn’t die in the accident.

No, no sign! HAHAHAHAHAHA! And I was watching! (Of course to be fair, the poor Televisa dove may have been so traumatized by its summary abandonment in the mine, that it had gone on strike.)
Rebeca's full court press to capture Marty's heart, Manny's release from prison, Aarón's smug triumph, Virginia's threats to Chucho – we know these will soon be reversed. But still... Would it kill the monkeys to drop an anvil or two right now just to give us a little hope?

My favorite scene was definitely the one where Manny is arrested and walked down the whole bus station.

I can't stand Rebecca!! My gosh going to Vero's grave. No respect! I too was thinking there would be a sign so happy there was no sign. What is she still doing there!

The good/bad thing about Marty right now is that he is so out of it that he doesn't understand/see Rebecca's intentions/advances. Didn't he even make a quick remark to her last night that she barely knows him? At least that was the gist I thought bec she pulled away.
Does anyone know how Lucía ended up working for Jorge? Wasn't she part of Marty's Full Employment for Mexico Plan? I thought she had been hired on as Claudia's assistant (hah!) and I was looking forward to their interaction. Now poor Berta has been banished (let's hope she just got a better job) for no apparent reason and there's Lucía in her place (I think)...
Oh wait. Maybe Berta had to go because she KNOWS Aarón but I don't think Lucía does. Is the fiendish little man going to show up in the Prado Castelo offices?

Julio won't hang on to Ana Perla for long. Sorry Julio but Ana Perla and Pablo were just meant to be. It will be interesting to see how Pablo gets Mariana off of his back and out of his life for good.

There was absolutely no doubt who Dr. Dan had tied up under the blanket. We all knew
when we saw the tide up hands. Dirt on V-snakes shoes? Now we know that they were searching through the bushes after the car accident.
Carlos---Don't worry about the bird in the mine. He flew out so there is no cause for alarm. No need to report Marty to the authorities for animal cruelty.
That must have been a grande check that Aaron received. Sometimes cash flow in big companies is tight. It was in a company that I worked at in the past. So it is possible that the Prado Castelo bank account is overdrawn. In any event the banks cameras now have a clear picture of Aaron so the police will be looking for him very soon now.
Tonight we will learn about Veronica's fate and will find out how long it will be before she is able to rock and roll. I can't wait.

Carvivlie, Marty DID say that! I think it was after Rebeca told him he looked so haggard (demacrado) and he needed to eat something. (But didn't she get an eyeful of Marty in his towel – or at least with his shirt off? Hardly 'demacrado,' no? Oh, I see. She was looking at his face. Oh.)

I agree he's not picking up on Rebeca's advances because he's working hard to be focused on the task at hand...along with grieving his beloved. I sincerely hope she continues to get nowhere with him.

I'm thinking it means that Verónica is getting closer to coming back to him, but I don't think Nanci has the full picture yet. The snails are being mysterious.

Those darn snails must be sleeping on the job! What I don't understand is how Nanci didn't know that that wasn't Vero in the coffin? I thought for sure she would have felt something..
Good point, Carvivlie! You would think Nanci would have realized at the funeral that something was off with whoever was in that coffin.

I have no idea how Lucia ended up working for Jorge. I have been wondering about that myself. I suspect this is the monkey writers way to bring them closer and possibly get together at the end. That is if they make it to the end.

I have no idea how Lucia ended up working for Jorge. I have been wondering about that myself. I suspect this is the monkey writers way to bring them closer and possibly get together at the end. That is if they make it to the end.

Thanks for commenting today. Ginny is stupid to write out a company check to Aaron. But that just shows how scared she is of Aaron. Also, I agree that Maggie and Jorge would recognize Aaron with or without his glasses. The trouble is that it may be too early to catch Aaron.
