Yo No Creo En Los Hombres #95 Tue 11/24/15--Wedding Bells And Death Knells or, Like a Bad Penney, Daniel Always Turns Up

These people never learn. Two days since Dan shows up and they still leave MD practically alone?
Wow, there are a lot of people that want Max dead and no one to help.
If Ivana wanted to save Max she should have called him first, black hearted bitch. I was yelling for Susana to call Max.
If Max survives he needs to get away from his toxic gf, her crazy ex and bastard of a father. MD pressuring Claudio helped him make up his mind to help Usurla get Dan and the goon squad out of jail. All could have been avoided if she had gone to Max first with her knowledge of Isela and Claudio.
Well, contrary to belief Alma didn't die and at least by knowing she gets to decide how she handles it.
Same prison administrator still in a position of authority. Does she have something on Claudio?
Ivana definitely went over the rails in this episode when she said she didn't care if Max had to die so she could have the baby. However, she was right that Susanna wants for her to be a miserable spinster like herself. What Ivana needed to do before calling Max was to call the police, which nobody ever thinks to do.
I loved how Alma is handling the revelation. While the Morales women might not get it, she is definitely doing this for her sons. If she makes it to the end without their finding out she knows, more power to her. Especially if she changes her will beforehand and leaves nada to Claudio.
More later.
So all that worry about Alma amounted to...nothing more that her avoiding taking Claudio's hand in the foyer (great detail, btw). She has the best poker face of this TN! She's being the stand up person Vivi said she'd be about this whole thing weeks ago. It's pretty damn awesome, but I'm super curious now as to her reasons for staying so calm. Is it a "death puts everything in perspective" thing, or more of a "I know they both love me, in their own ways, so I don't really care." I'm looking forward to hearing her perspective.
I thought that maybe Claudio had signed off on the results of the prison investigation without doing due diligence, but now I wonder if the woman in charge (Marcia?) found out about Hector's murder.
Ivana def went off the rails for a second there. I was about to double my mental anvil for her for saying that Max could just die if he got in the way of her baby-stealing plot, but she returned to sanity. Susana might be a mean little spider, but at least she's still rational! PS: this whole thing with Ivana blaming MD for her failed relationship with Dan is really too much. There are more than enough black marks against MD that she's actually had a hand in for Ivana to be blaming her for the actions of the homicidal maniacs that were her in-laws.
Zombie look on his face when he raped her.
If she can remember that gun, she might be
Able to hold him off till max or orly and the gang show up.
Why the hell is isela tellin hell-seffa the wed
Day was changed to today? This girl is just bad news all day long. Just once I wish something would turn out right before the end happy ending happens. You know like on "lo Imperdanable" when vero and marty
Came together again? They still had to fight
But at least they were together. Whatever....
Not lookin forward to tonite, but I'll watch to
See who screws up, MD or danny. Or both.
I hope alma desides to fight. Keep hope alive.
What a crazy episode. Ivana was dead to me the moment she said Max could die, if it meant he wasn't in the way of her getting her baby. She could have very well called the police, just like she's had more than enough ammunition to put a real stop to the Santibanez for a LONG time now- she has plenty of dirt on them. She only does, or doesn't do, just enough so that later she can assuage her guilt and justify herself. Go to hell, Ivana.
Lordy-- the one criminal Clod let free is about to accost his whole family. And the other one that he set free is about to accost his future daughter-in-law and likely his son Max too. Good going, Clod. Sorry Tofie, MD is not to blame for this. Clod was always going to bend to Ursula's will if it meant keeping her quiet about him and Isela to Alma. Max knowing about the affair didn't put a stop to his stupidity train.
The only question now is, who's going to get shot tonight in the two assault situations. OMG! Tonight's my night! OK, it may be up late as I bake, AND try to wade through all the drama to write something comprehensible.
Alma looked like she WAS about to say something to Clod when he walked into the bedroom, then she stopped when Leo came in. Great subtle body language from Alma with Clod after the reveal.
Arango told that story to Ursula off-camera and they broke that news together to her two sick brats in the opening episode. Mama Bear demands that her two cubs marry dinero to get them out of financial oblivion. 41 episodes later Arango told Mama Bear that the coffers were full all along and she was shocked. No real explanation for this.
It would have made total logical sense if Ursula knew her brats' tendency to "slum" for sexual partners and concocted this lie with Arango to stop them getting more deeply involved. However, Maleny was dating Max and boinking him already. Ursula didn't know about Ari or Maria Dolores at that point, hence no motive for her to invent this lie other than to force them to grow up and become financially responsible (whatever she was willing to define that as).
That she maintained the lie after Arango's revelation is no surprise. She's a greedy monster and possibly a black widow. She is somehow behind Hector's death even if her fingerprints were never on the weapon.
Thus far I don't think the writers have ret-conned anything, so this means she has to wonder about Arango's motive for lying to her about the bankruptcy. Could he have removed a significant amount for a quick investment scheme that paid off in money that he has stashed offshore in his own account? They better explain this one.
Daniel's obsession with Maria Dolores will only end when he's dead. Or she, but I doubt we'll get that kind of an ending.
MD is not to blame. Claudio is the most educated and experienced person in this TN and he's let Ursula play him like an a$$. Ivana knows Ursula and Dan tried to kill her and are world-class liars and she lets them play her like an a$$. Thank goodness for horrible but sane Susana.
I expected Viewerville to be let in on what Alma is thinking about the betrayal. I'm surprised she believed Ari so quickly, but looking at Clara and Espy's reaction to his big mouth spoke volumes too.
Nothing better happened to that special car that Orly has been laboring over for Julian.
Ari always makes me laugh. He was right, Doris looked smashing.
MD is the clerk at 7-11 that sold a six pack to an inebriated friend, sees them drive off and they kill someone in a crash.
I kept screaming at the screen for Susana to call the police. Then I did it again when Ivana called Dan. Just call the police. They never think of that.
I can't believe how delusional Dan is to think that after everything that has happened, MD would want to be with him.
Poor Corina, what a hellacious life she's living right now. I don't know how she could ever forgive MD over it.
Remember everyone, MD has a gun in the drawer in the kitchen. I think it's going to get used tonight.
I thought the plan to fake the bankruptcy was Ursula's all along, not Arango's. She pretended in front of her little weasels that she had just found out from him also. I seem to remember that at the time we (Viewerville) found out she faked it we were all wondering why she did it, could she be so greedy. But someone may have commented (memory is dim here) that the totality of the Santibanez, Duran, and Bustamante fortunes was nothing to sneeze at. And with Ursula still pulling the strings on her puppet children, she would be in total control of all that wealth eventually ... or so she thought.
I caught Ivana declaring she wanted Max out of the way before he could give HER baby his name. Delusional. True, she had a change of heart, but...she had murder in her heart for a bit.
Can Alma really see Clod and Ise in the same way ever again, now that she knows or strongly suspects infidelity and must pretend she doesn't know? Delusional.
Agree that a wheelchair bound, love-doped man left alone with a bride-to-be who was just threatened by her EX-something-vile was asking for trouble. Delusional and naïve. Although, tradition is that the bride arrives in a coach or vehicle by herself, to be greeted at the church door by the priest, her groom, the guests and gets walked into the church by the father or his stand-in. Or...have I been watching too many telenovelas. At least we know why the gun was left in MD's apartment. Yeah, it's going to get used tonight. That beautiful dress is going to be ruined and someone is going to shed blood. MIGHTY MAX to the RESCUE?
Agree that Dan-Dan, upon hearing that with Max out of the way, it would leave the way clear for him to get back with MD. How can he believe she has any love for him after all MD has said and done to him? Really delusional.
Maleny is now a totally damaged woman--as is Corrina, only Maleny is not behind bars, just in a mental prison of her mother's making. She was almost better off not knowing the details of Hector's death.
I also believe that Ursula was just faking financial ruin--we speculated about that. She made no move to downsize their life-style, while making her cubs think that marriage to money would then solve HER money problems. Didn't we hear at some point that Hector thought he was in financial ruin and a disgrace to his family and the reason why Ursula urged him to commit suicide? At least that's the story and she's sticking to it. She must have already had a stash that Arango was overseeing for her to want him dead--that, insurance and a will in her favor. She and Arango may have been the ones who set it up to make Hector think he was in ruin.
My head is spinning. It looks as though it all boils down to 1) The real story of Hector's death; 2) The real story of Marta's death.
I just might go back to episode 42 to check on that bankruptcy thing. That was prior to any flashbacks of Hector.
Will be the wedding day from hell. That gun
Looked like trouble when hon came out with it. O boy, what a mess on the way. Maybe it won't be too bad. Have to wait for tonite.
