Yo No Creo En Los Hombres Capitúlo 93, Fri November 20, 2015, Or, What's Done In The Dark Comes to Light

RECAP BY JdesdeNYC

Scenes combined for clarity

Lo Pasado
Leo breaks up with Clara, saying she hides information just like MD, since she knew his mother was sick and didn't tell him.

Maleny's quest for truth continues as she meets with the sixth man, Aron Valezquez, a ballistics expert, who knows more information about her Dad's murder. Maleny thinks he won't tell her the truth about the facts of the case. On the contrary, he says he involved himself in the investigation because Claudio promised he would not be named in the peritaje (expert report), and because of that fact, he can tell Mal whatever she wants to know, since in the case he officially does not exist.

Max explains to MD why his father helped Ursula get Dan out of jail and she tells him his father and Isela are having an affair.

Lo Nuevo

MAX LAWYERS HIS WAY TO THE TRUTH
At first, Max doesn't want to believe MD about the affair, saying his Dad is incapable of treating Alma that way. He insists that Claudio has been un hombre ejemplar (exemplary or ideal man) and un esposo intachable (a husband of flawless, impeccable or faultless reputation). Orlando saw them kissing, MD responds. "Orlando has had loads of problems with my father. He'll say anything about him." MD is exasperated as she tells him Isela confessed to her that she was sleeping with Claudio. Max finally starts to believe at this statement and then gets mad at MD for not telling him earlier. "I didn't tell you for a lot of reasons but most of all because you told me your Mom needed calm, peace and quiet."

MD also explains that she tried to get Isela to leave the Bustamante house but she couldn't because Alma needed Isela's friendship and company as she is sick. "I would've found a way to get her out of there!" Max says. "Under what pretext," MD rejoins, "since your mother adores her and Isela supports her." "I know," Max says, "but I won't allow them (Claudio and Isela) to keep laughing behind my mother's back." He storms out the Morales house with MD running behind him.

IT WAS SOMEONE SMALL
Valezquez explains to Mal that her mom and Arango had a test done on her to show that she shot Hector. Mal says they didn't do this test on her. Valasquez surmises they didn't do the test on her because she was crying and in shock but in any event whoever shot Hector was small, a few centimeters taller than her, based on the height and trajectory of the bullet. The recognition that Daniel was the shooter washes over Mal's face and she runs out of the restaurant like a bat out of hell, to Valezquez's shocked expression.

FINAL WISH
At casa Bustamante, Leo and Alma are having a heart-to-heart. Leo explains he broke up with Clara because she knew about her sickness and didn't tell him. "Perhaps because MD asked her to. When I was first diagnosed I didn't want anyone to know since I wanted to know if the tumor was operable or not, or if I could take chemo or radiation." Leo insists that Alma fight for her life since "the doctors don't know everything." He begs her to fight for her life and she says to die with dignity requires strength. Alma concludes by telling Leo that she judged MD and Clara wrongly and Leo needs to go back with Clara because he loves her and she him. And one of her final wishes is to see her sons with the women they love. She also wants Leo's help to convince Max and Claudio to accept her decision not to seek treatment. Leo agrees.

BLACKMAIL FAIL
Ari, still hating on the Doris-Orly love train, goes to see Josefa and blames her for Orly still being around. Jo says she tried to give Orly money to leave and he wouldn't take it. Ari insists Jo does more to break Orly and Doris up or he'll have the moral obligation to tell Alma about Claudio. Jo cares not and tells Ari she was gonna spill the beans about this at Max and MD's wedding but if he wants to go ahead (adelantarse) of her, by all means. (Jo already knows Max and MD know about Claudio and Isela since she heard when Max stormed out and Clara explained to Espie why he did so.)

Espie tells Doris and Orly that Danny-Boy is Still Cray and To Stay out His Way
Espie explains to Orly and Doris about Dan getting released from jail and how rotten to the core he is since he threatened MD again. Orly wants to fight Dan and Espie tells Orly to stay away from Danny's cray. He's not like Julian who came out of jail still a good person. Dan was already bad but now he's rotten. Doris cosigns. Espie tells them not to go anywhere alone because Danny can harm them.

DANNY THE ADDICT TESTILYING
Danny and his lawyers are at the police station testifying about the rape case. His lawyer and mother speak more than he does as he has the shakes from not having access to whatever drug he was taking in jail. He only cosigns the lawyers' lies that what occurred between he and MD was consensual. They even realized a fake wedding so they could have sex with MD's mother's consent. MD sent him naked photos, showing she consented. The agent taking the report says they need to investigate more the issue of the fake wedding, etc, but most of all the lawyers and Ursula need to hush so Dan can give his statement. As he gently urges Dan to continue his statement, Maleny comes running in screaming that Dan is a killer.

DUE DILIGENCE
Maleny screams like a mad woman in the police station (ministerio público) that Dan is the one who murdered her father. Ursula, always looking out for Dan, explains to the officer receiving Dan's statement that Maleny is bipolar and taking meds so she'll handle Mal while Dan should continue testifying. Arango and Ursula drag Maleny out the police station as the latter continues to scream Dan is a murderer. Out of everyone else's earshot, Ursy asks Mal who told her that estupidez. "Aron Valezquez," Mal says. Ursula ironically congratulates Maleny for finding the key piece in her investigation of dear Dad's death. She burst her hija's bubble, though, alleging that Daniel wasn't home the day Hector died. Mal says they are lying to her and Arango says investigate some more. Ask Claudio, Medina, Velazquez or whoever if Danny was there that day, which is easier to do instead of making scandals in public. It's basic research, Arango says. Ursula sticks the knife in further by saying that if Mal won't accept or assume responsibility for her Dad's death, she should go talk to a therapist or psychiatrist. They walk off leaving Mal a crying mess.

I HAVE NO REGRETS
Max and MD end up at Claudio's office and Max confronts his dad. "How could you? How could you do this to my mother?" Max asks simply. Claudio blames MD, saying she told Max about the affair as revenge for his getting Dan out of prison. MD defends her honor saying she wouldn't risk hurting Max or Alma by revealing such a painful secret just for revenge. She told Max because until now she believed Claudio was still a honorable man but his actions in the case of Dan showed her otherwise. She takes her leave so Max and his dad can talk.

Max is horrified that instead of explaining his actions Claudio chooses to verbally attack (agredir: mostly used for a physical attack, but here it's a metaphor). Claudio says he doesn't have the response Max seeks. He justifies himself by saying while everyone else sees him as an upright (recto), strict (riguroso) father, a loving (amoroso) husband and a professional with a flawless (intachable) reputation, Isela is the only person who sees him as a man. "She injected me with new life and you know what I don't regret it. I would do it again." Max summarily punches his father in the mouth.

(Sidebar: Claudio is basically blaming his family and acquaintances for actually believing in the way he projected himself and expected him to continue that way. Boy, bye! It's also very jerky to say you don't regret having an affair to your son's face while your wife and his mama is dying of CANCER. Clod indeed! Man alive, where is your decency??!!)

Max grabs his father by the collar and lets him know he will make him regret what he has done to Alma. Clod says kill him if he wants to, he won't take the easy route and say he regrets the affair because while he was wrong, he fell in love and Max has to understand him. Max says he doesn't understand and would be incapable of doing something like that. "But you have!" Claudio says to Max. "When you broke up with Maleny, you told me you were crazy in love with Maria Dolores." Max doesn't fall for it at all and proves that he's a good lawyer by saying he was man enough to tell Maleny the truth and broke it off with her. Max also says Clod must be crazy for Isela because "that's the only reason I can understand how you can compare a relationship to a marriage!" (Yea and verily, Max.)

Max notes that Alma is the reason why Clod is where he is today-(I sense Alma had more money and she financially supported him through law school)-and asks why Clod wasn't honest with Alma and let her know he is no longer in love with her. Clod says he's never going to stop loving Alma but what he has to do is go home to his family and his marriage. Max interrupts: "And to Isela, right? It's easy for you to have your lover and your wife under the same roof."

SHOULD SHE STAY OR SHOULD SHE GO?
Max and Clod are still talking about Isela being under the same roof with Alma. Max says Isela has to go. Clod explains Isela broke it off with him once Alma was diagnosed and decided to stay to provide care and support. Their relationship is really strong, Clod says and we have to put that in consideration. "Don't you realize your mother told Isela about her sickness before anyone else."

WITHDRAWAL
Back inside the police station, Dan's withdrawal symptoms kick into overdrive as his ticks gets more pronounced and he flashes back to Maleny calling him a killer. He starts speaking incoherently and seems to hyperventilate. Finally he runs out. The lawyer excuses his behavior as a reaction to getting beaten in prison.

Ursula demands Arango wrangle Dan like a lost sheep. Meanwhile the other lawyer lets her know it was a bad idea for Dan to give a statement now as he wants drugs. He asked him for some and he surely ran out to get more.

Arango and Jacinto bring Dan home and he's shaking and incoherent. All he can say is that he needs help (drugs). Ursula tells him the dressmaker is pregnant with his child but he won't get custody if he's a damned addict. She sends everyone except Arango and Dan out the room. She takes a small drug packet from Arango's hand and Dan jumps for it with relish. Ursula turns away and sobs to her self.

ARI AND ISELA MAKE A DEAL
Ari meets up with Isela on a barrio street. Ise tells him to get on with whatever he has to say already y ya. Ari calls her Morticia (Adams) and lets her know he has something important to let her know since he's tired of being everyone's puppet (monigote). Josefa wants to get revenge on her-Ise says she didn't know that but it doesn't surprise her. What piques Ise's interest is Ari saying Josefa wants to do something awful on Max's and MD's wedding day which will hurt Alma. Ise asks him who he wants, Alma or Doris? Ari says if he can't be with the woman he loves, he will be with the one who maintains him. Ise says they should keep on exchanging information and she'll give him the life of his dreams. (Is she going to steal money from Alma to give Ari in exchange for information?)

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
Alma calls her family, which for her includes the Morales' (MD, Clara, Espie) and Isela, together to let them know she doesn't want to pursue cancer treatment. Isela shows up last and at her presence, Max makes a statement hinting that she's not family, which makes Ise realize Max knows about her and Clod. She says Max is right about her not being family like the Morales, but Alma insists she be there for the meeting.

Leo tries to apologize to Ise for thinking she and Clod are romantically linked. Clara on her truth kick tries to stop him and almost reveals the affair but Espie tells Clara to shut up and listen. Leo apologizes to Isela and asks her to stay at casa Bustamante to care for Alma. Leo also apologizes to Clara but she is so angry and exasperated she walks off to sit even as she looks like she wants to bash Isela's head in.

Alma lets them know she doesn't want chemotherapy or any curative treatment, only that which will lessen (aminorar) her pain. She doesn't want to be tied to a bed for six months. She wants her family to remember as she is now, a housewife in charge of the kitchen and garden. She wants to be a wife to her husband, one who has his dinner ready when he comes home from work. She wants to remain the same the smiling, nervous, controlling and nosy Alma until the end. She wants to stay pretty for her husband; she wants to brush her hair, not have it fall out. She wants to smell the flowers in her garden.

She concludes, "Please don't force me to be tied to a bed" by accepting treatment. Everyone has teared up. Max and Leo hug her tightly even as Clod lowers his head wordlessly.

ACCEPTANCE
Back at casa Santíbañez, Dan is now mollified by drugs even as Arango asks Ursula what she has done. Ursula tells Victor the lawyer that it is obvious Dan can't finish his statement to the police and won't be able to for a while. She has to take matters into her own hands (tomar cartas) to ensure Maria Dolores stops hurting her son. She orders lawyer Victor over to MD's place.

Meanwhile Dan goes to Mal's room and asks why she screamed he was a killer at the ministerio público. She tells him he and Ursy killed her dad and ruined her life. She had a man who loved her and wanted to marry her (Max) and a lover (Ari) who made her happy. Now she's just a ghost that comes and goes (viene y va) walking around the land seeking peace. The two of them are a sobbing mess but Dan kisses her on the cheek in his weird incestuous way while he says he wants her to be happy or he will start to cry, too. He offers her one of his drug packets. She refuses. "I already tried that and I didn't like it. I wish it could help me. But you enjoy it. You enjoy it." They get on the floor and weird-hug it out.

IF LOOKS COULD KILL
Back at casa Bustamante, Clod ruins the moment for Max and the Patio with his hypocrisy and cynicism. He says they will do what Alma wants and that Alma and he will get through this together as husband and wife. Max quickly gets away from his mother and father to MD's side so he won't snap at his father.

Clod continues to infuriate Max as he reminds Alma of their marriage vows, that they would be together in sickness and in health. Alma nods yes and Clod hugs and kisses her. MD's holds Max's arm in comfort as he looks on angrily, his face telling us he'd love to curbstomp Clod into another dimension.

JUST SAY NO
Arango tells Ursy he didn't ask her what she had done in front of Victor and Jacinto to embarrass her but to let her realize she is doing her son, her only weakness, more harm than good. By giving him drugs she is sending him into an unending abyss. "He acts like he's been on drugs for years," Ursula opines. Arango notes that what he is doing is very addictive and it hooks you from the first time you try it, especially since he was in jail. Ari then slithers in like the nouveau riche he pretends to be, rudely asking why they haven't welcomed him.

Thanks so much, JdesdeNYC! This recap was amazing, and did this wild ride of an episode justice.

I'm guessing Ursula hustled Dan out of that house as soon as he shot his father, and then immediately started brainwashing him, maybe with some professional help, to make him forget the whole thing or that he was even present.

Clod's chutzpah saying he didn't regret the affair was amazing. Max showed great restraint by not punching him again. Especially, when he compared what he's doing to Alma to when Max broke up with his novia Maleny (before he had said even one romantic word to MD). Poorly played, Clod.

Man, with the heat and anger coming off of Max and Clara, I'm surprised the Christmas tree behind them didn't combust.

Thank you J. And thanks for the translations, they are so helpful for me.

So if Dan did do it, it doesn't appear that he remembers, although in his rambling at the police station, I sort of thought that maybe he was agreeing with Maleny. It wouldn't surprise me that Arango would lie about there being 6 instead of 7 since he and Ursula have lied so much about that night.

Now what is Ari setting himself up to do? What a pest he is.

Vivi, that would have been my guess to as to what happened the night of the murder. I can't wait until that info is divulged.

J- I also love testilying. That's a keeper! :)

Thanks for the love guys!

I loved this cap so much. I noticed a couple of things about MD's body language that tells me she's in love with Max as much as he's with her. After Clod accused her of telling Max about the affair she defends herself then leaves the office and almost slams the door, but grabs it so Max and Clod can talk in peace. She's so respectful of Max's feelings in that moment; she didn't want the moment be about her, even though Clod made her mad. The way she was right outside Clod's office, out of earshot, but still waiting with a hug for Max after he and Clod talked. Max walked out angry but ran right to her arms to calm down. The way she rubbed his arm while Clod was speaking to Alma as the ever -faithful hubby. That arm rub literally saved Clod's life because that kept Max from going over the edge. It also shows how in touch with his moods MD is. It's not your usual tn fare, but I enjoyed it.

Vivi, I heard testilying years ago and it speaks aptly to what Dan is doing.

Cosigning the fact that Dan is Hector's killer and he was coached to forget it. He didn't seem that mad about Mal's accusation but curious and confused. I actually like the fact Dan and Ursy got their anvil early with the drug addiction, and it is all due to Dan's behavior. I don't wish drug addiction on anyone but this plotline has slowed down the get MD baby scheme because it will come out quickly that Dan is an addictbin any custody battle.

J- You beautifully picked up on all the subtle ways MD showed her love for Max this episode. He absolutely needed her, and she was right there for him, every step of the way-- just like when she revealed to him that Alma has cancer.

It's a dilemma for Max and everyone who knows about the affair. They are just going to have to wait 3-6 months to deal with it the way they want and need to.

I totally agree with this, CathyX. I don't think Alma will go to her grave not knowing about the affair because Josefa, Ursula and Ari resent the Bustamantes and/or Isela and will reveal the secret. That being said, I'm glad Max knows because now he understands MD's position.

I also loved the scene of Alma explaining why she isn't seeking treatment. I may not agree with her 100% but I love the way she went about it, letting her family know upfront her decision.

I think that Alma will never find out about the affair. I don't think the writers will give Josefa the satisfaction of fulfilling her vengeance. Ok, I'm actually crossing my fingers over that one.

Vivi, you did your best with a trashy episode.
Your recap was good, the episode stunck.
"Ursy turns away and sobs". Her son is
Garbage and shes the dump truck that spit
Him out. I feel not sorry for her at all. Some
People get on dope cause they want the pain
To go away. I don't know why hes on it, don"t
Care. Instead of her worrying about him on
Dope she wants him sober enough to still lie
And steal someones child (MD). That waste
Of skin raped someone, and hes the one that
Is being hurt by the victim? Why would the
Writers even sit up in a room and write a line
Like that? Nevermind, it's almost over now
Anyway. Not even gonna blame mess on the
Monkeys. They deserve better.
Don't even get me started on selfrighteous
hypocritical Claude. He don't deserve to have
His name spelled correctly. Does this seem
Like a rant? Did not intend to sound that way.
Its just a tn, with a hint of reality.
somebody tie Ari up and send him............O I
Don't know, just away. Hes annoying.
Poor alma why'd they have to kill her off? why Not thay train wreck ho-heffa? Ok well gonna go, More christmas movies to watch.

Nina- It was JdesdeNYC who did this great recap.

Im sorry, I gave roses to the wrong recapper,
Thank you JdesdeNYC. You hit all the horrid
Points of these miserable people's lives in this episode. Thanks again JdesdeNYC.
Vivi, lookin forward to your next recap too.

These writers are definitely not monkey writers. The fact that Ursula would say that about MD hurting her baby Dan is totally within this woman's character, her sense of entitlement for herself and her son, and the way she coddles Dan. Brilliantly written twisted characters!

JdesdeNYC - great recap! There was so much jam-packed into this episode and you laid everything out beautifully! (big thumbs up for testilying from my corner too!)

Everyone continues to be amazing on this show. What a cast! Maleny's struggle against everyone's conclusion is especially compelling. I fully believe it was Dan and they hustled him out of there with an alibi asap. Or he wasn't supposed to be there and showed up unexpectedly. Either way, I still think it's him.

I'm so relieved that MD told Max about the affair that I can finally watch that storyline in peace! Well, as much peace as one can when Claudio is talking about being in love with Isela and not regretting any of it. Ay! I totally wanted Clara's happy ending while watching that: that Alma would find out and it would make her want to fight to stay alive. Screw the pretty hair, since hubby's already thrown me over for a younger model. Screw the warm dinner waiting, that's why we have a household staff. Screw the flowers because they'r enow best used by cutting the roses and using them to beat Claudio about the head, thorns still attached!

At the same time, what a complex wrinkle to throw in there! No repentance, no realizing Alma was the right one all along. Just the real, messy truth: sometimes a passionate love turns to affection and a new passion springs up in its place. I guess now Josefa's big reveal at MD's wedding would be her and Isela's revenge plot?

BTW, is Ari seriously running back to Maleny?! (He couldn't possibly have meant Ursula, right?) With what blackmail material?

That scene with Mal and Dan was creepy, but also deeply sad. They know in a way that Ursula won't recognize how deeply, profoundly f'd up their family is. Mal's more disappointed than ever, having been told yet again that she's guilty. Dan's realized that the only escape he can find for himself is whatever he's snorting, so his offering it to Mal is actually sweet, in a twisted, insane way. I'm not surprised she's already tried it, but I am curious as to how much they gave Dan to get him so very addicted. Or maybe drugs were a part of his brainwashing? Maybe they sent him away immediately after he killed Hector and kept him drugged and brainwashed until he believed the lie? How long was he in jail anyway?

Man, this TN is amazing.

I thought Dan got addicted to drugs and started using drugs while he was in prison, not before.

cathyx - so far, that is exactly right. I'm just speculating alternatives for the fun of it.

Great recap JdesdeNYC, thank you much.

"he'd love to curbstomp Clod into another dimension"

I held it together pretty well as Claudio defended his cheating to Max. Where I lost it was watching Leo apologize to Isela.

As a character I am fascinated by Maleny and really impressed with Sophie Alexander.

What the hell is Isela up to now?

Most incredible scene for me was when Usurla gave Dan the packet of dope.

Had MD freely come clean to Max it would be easier for me to believe she truly trust him and his judgement. Because she was backed into a corner and truth about to be revealed she spoke up. Until he is the first she tells, I won't believe she loves Max as he does her and their partnership is on shaky ground. I concede this would be less an issue had Max not been created a near perfect galan.

Tofie- Do you think the danger of someone else telling Max (or Alma) was any greater now than it was pre-Christmas? Seems the impetus for MD telling Max was her learning that Claudio and Isela had NOT ended their affair, as promised. And now with the holidays over, the drive to give the Bustamantes the last perfect holiday of Alma's dreams had been fulfilled.

Great recap JdesdeNYC! These episodes are filled with so much important stuff, I can be imagine that makes it harder to recap.

I understand Alma's choice although I wouldn't like it and keep asking her to fight if she was my mom.

Poor Clara watching Leo apologize to Isela and not being able to blurt out that he had been right.

I'm glad Max punched Claudio, I feel like he needs to get hit again. And the nerve of him to accuse MD of vengeance after he made sure her rapist was free was infutiating.

I liked MD being there for Max after telling him about Claudio and Isela. I don't think she was backed into a corner to do it, she gave her reasons to wait and kept her word that she would do it if she saw signs that Isela and Claudio didn't stop and that she'd wait after the holidays so that Alma and her sons would get to have that happy time. She's been there for him through these sad revelations and she wants him to be happy, safe and content. Not telling him before was not about not trusting him but about doing it when the timing would make it less devastating.

Jarocha

Thanks so much for your great recap JdesdeNYC. Sadly I missed the episode but you did such a wonderful job of describing all that happened. I feel as though I saw the episode. And I loved the translations.

I hate when they show Dan and Mal go into one of their incestuous clinches....ugh!! That I saw in the closing preview.

How can a mother love one child and show no love at all towards the other. Is it solely because of the bond between Hector and Maleny and she felt left out? I kind of thought Ursula didn't have much love for Hector anyway.

Ann-NYC

MD was backed into a corner by an errant Clara and Leo slowly putting it together, however that was the least of threats. Information is power and MD ill used it.

My issue is two fold. One, since MD was not the only person to know of the affair she had no control over what others would do and in fact because others knew, the information was exploited by Usurla to MD and Max's determent. Two, MD assumed Max couldn't handle the truth and it her responsibility to negotiate with Claudio on Max's behalf. Espy warned her she cannot play God (not Espy's words but intent).

Circle the wagons MD and stand back to back with your partner, neither of you have eyes in the back of your head.

Gracias, JdesdeNYC.

Great comments on the action in this episode and I have an answer for the question as to why a mother would love one child and hate another. There are several possible answers. In this case Ursula probably perceived other females as competition for Hector and any other man in her orbit. This is why she was so willing to shove her beloved little boy into marriage with a woman he didn't love. It wasn't just about the money, nor was it just about the money (and her own greed) when she realized that they weren't broke after all. She refuses to share any love of his with any other woman. That would break her power over him.

Her hatred of Maleny is also her power over her. It kept her from growing emotionally and therefore kept her dependent. Ursula could short-circuit either of them at any time she chose. The head-scratcher in all this is that she has managed to coerce others into helping her.

I wonder if Max will now question why Clod helped get Dan out of jail? Doesn't seem that his mind made the connection yet that the real reason he did this was not to keep the Hector murder coverup under wraps, but instead to keep his dirty little affair under wraps. When he realizes this he'll be even more disgusted.

At this point, neither MD nor Max know that Isela, Clod, Jo, Ari, and Ivana have passed on info to, and helped, the Santibanez in their War against MD and the Bustamantes at various points. And the real evidence to me that Isela isn't totally sincere each time she cries poor me on the shoulder of someone in the vecinidad, is that she has never come clean about what she knows the Santibanez are plotting against MD and about how she has betrayed MD multiple times to them.

I thought I remember Ursula saying why she didn't like Maleny. She never wanted to have another child. She had Dan and she didn't want any more, but Hector wanted another.

Cathyx- Specifically, Hector wanted to try for a girl. Ursula never wanted a girl and sees no use for them.

And why Usurla doesn't want Dan with a woman he actually cares for, MD. I guess Usurla assumes the child MD carries is male but what if it is not? Does she and Ivana think it a throw away and try again?

I don't think Ivana cares if it's a boy or a girl. Just that its HERS. And if the baby is out of her hands, and in Ivana's (in exchange for Vera Duval stock and/or a crap load of money), then Ursula doesn't give a damn what it is either.

Thanks, JdesdeNYC. You did a fantastic job with this pivotal episode.

I don’t know ballistics, but I’m wondering how they can tell the shooter was short instead of tall and crouching down. Whatever happened, I’m convinced Ursula set it up. Though Maleny was her dad’s favorite, Dan doesn’t seem to harbor angry feelings about his dad.

Claudio is as arrogant as they get. My take is he feels what’s most important is that “he” feel alive and Alma, as lovely and high-class as she is, just didn’t spark a fire in him anymore. Did he think to spice things up with a trip, sexy lingerie, scented oils, or a new position? Of course not. But a Master of the Universe like himself merits getting his ya-yas, so Isela arrived right on time. And that “needy” thing Isela has, makes him feel like a knight in shining armor (as it did earlier for Orly). Claudio calls it “love,” but strange he and Isela don’t do much but have sex when they'e alone together. Hard for me to imagine that someone as arrogant and self-centered as Claudio could have raised good men like Max and Leo.

Funny: Ari calling Isela “Morticia.”

Niecie, I thought the same thing about Ari calling her Morticia. I didn't know they were familiar with the Addams Family. I figured he meant something else by that.

Oh, and as far as the ballistics go, they can see the angle of the path of the bullet as it enters the body. So for a grown man who, let's say is 6ft tall, the angle of entry can be measured so that they can determine how tall the person who shot him was. And in this case, he determined that the bullet was shot from a person who was a bit taller than she was but also not from someone as tall as another grownup.

Whether the baby is a boy or a girl would make no difference to Ivana. Mama Bear's thought is to get MD's baby -- whatever it is -- and exchange it for half of Ivana's total assets. As long as Ivana is still married to Danny-Boy and if she is officially the child's mother, the child would inherit anything Ivana has left.

Since the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior we all know what Ursula is planning.

I don't think Max knows that Ursula has tried to kill Ivana in the past. This is something Ivana should tell him ASAP. Gerry needs to know this, too. She needs both their help. I'm not sure she realizes that Mama Bear is planning to kill her.

Well, if Ivana were actually on the side of good, then she could call on Max and Gerry for help. But since she is actually plotting with these evil people, she kind of deserves what she gets. However, that innocent baby does not.

Here's the Wiki page on the Addams Family in Spain and Latin America. Many of the names of the characters are totally changed in Latin America (for example, Gomez is named Homero), but Morticia remains the same. In Spain, the show is called predictably La Familia Addams, but in Latin America it's called Los Locos Addams: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Addams_Family_%28serie_de_1964%29

I thought ivana and dan the jerk D-vorced
Already. Im sorry for that baby and max.they
