Muchacha Italiana #118 2/11/16 Pietro Angeles, King of Lame Excuses
Recap by Sneaky Two Shoes!!! (Lila apologizes for lateness of posting!! Sorry, guys!)
Alina discusses aromatherapy w/Pilar – was she using the drops for that? Pilar maintains she never uses drops for anything. Sergio drops by to catch up. Alina tells him she’s convinced the drops weren’t Pilar’s. He’s relieved but confused, what could it all mean? (losing brain cells by the minute this guy) He goes to visit w/Pilar, asks her how she’s feeling and she blames him for not looking for her when she was locked up. He apologizes and explains that he thought she was dead. Pietro calls to check in on his mom.

Vitto meets w/Mario’s
bro and tells him all about the brother he never knew – the convo goes
well till Di’s atty calls asking to be paid. Vitto doesn’t have the $
now and asks for more time, and please don’t
stop defending Di – explains to problem to Mario’s bro.
Pietro gets home and
is greeted by a worried Fi w/an unwelcome kiss – he came home to see his
mom, not her and he has to leave soon. He’s leaving her all alone in
her hour of need w/only lame excuses for
company. Sergio and Pietro won’t even let her go visit Pilar w/them.
Fidel gives Elo the
analysis results on the drops bottle found in Pilar’s room – powerful
poison, same as was found in Dante’s body. Elo tells him to sit down
while they talk so she won’t get a crick in her
neck. She asks the logical question, why was the poison not found in
the first autopsy? Well it turns out you can only find traces of this
substance if you look real hard.
Lucky we didn’t cremate Dante, huh.
Pilar is still the
prime suspect, and the police want to interrogate her. Elo and Simona
are very shocked, as though the plot has not been leading to this for
the last 2 days or so.
Before the police can
get to her, Elo and Sergio interrogate Pilar w/Alina looking on, have
you seen the drops before? Pilar doesn’t know what they’re talking about
she doesn’t use drops.
They warn her the police found the drops in her
stuff and they’ll want to question her. Pilar freaks out and tries to
hide in the wardrobe and everybody talks at the same time.
Roxi and Gia discuss Gia wanting to die. It goes like this.
R – ‘ I can’t understand how you could want to leave’
G – ‘ I’m scared, heart transplants are high risk, you know, and anything could go wrong and I could die’
R – ‘you gotta think positive’
G –‘ you think if
everything goes well I’m just gonna jump up from the hospital bed and
waltz out the next day? Even if the operation works the recovery will be
long and painful and difficult. I don’t want
to suffer any more, and I don’t want Fi and everybody else to suffer seeing me suffer’
R –‘ Oh you want to die so we won’t be uncomfortable?’
G – ‘no I just want to live out the time I have left happily’
R – ‘ I always knew you were a crybaby, with terrible taste in clothes, but I never thought you were a coward’
G –‘I’m no coward’
R –‘You’re afraid to
fight for your life and your love w/Gael, afraid of suffering for a
little while so you’d rather die instead of enjoying the rest of your
life.’
G –‘Nobody can guarantee me it’ll work’
R –‘ No, but the docs can guarantee that if you do nothing it’ll go really badly.’
G –‘ I know but its all so hard.’
R – ‘I know it’s hard
but you have a sister and a bf who love and support you and a friend
who will help and stay w/you all the time. ‘
G –‘but I’m scared’
R –‘I know but together we’ll make it.’
Fi wants to talk
w/Pietro about how weird he’s been lately, he blames it on the problems
at ACorp and the finding of the drops. She reminds him they’ve had
problems before, but he says this time they’re important
ones – listen I talked w/Santino and Juli and you need to do a DNA
test, its not just some stupid thing, its important, legal stuff blah
blah, name change blah blah. Fi has no patience for talk of DNA tests,
either they’re her parents or they’re not, she has
something really important to talk about. She tells him ‘love I think
we’re preganant’ and he is stunned. Fi is happy and excited and clearly
expecting a happy reaction from Pietro, but he has visions of two headed
babies dancing in his head and pulls away,
unable to even fake being happy about the news. Fi is all didn’t you
say you wanted a MiniPietro or a MiniFiorella? Pietro is all sure, sure,
but … Now’s not a good time, ACorp… Fi wants a happy face for her news
and Pietro is desperately grasping for a shred
of hope, asks did you do a pregnancy test? – Well no, but I’m not
usually late – You must take a pregnancy test to be sure (immediately if
possible) Fi is all ‘what’s up with you, you’re acting all weird , I’m
not dumb I know something’s up,’ but he keeps
avoiding her eyes and making lame excuses – apparently they haven’t
heard the results yet and don’t know the drops were poison but Pietro is
worried that they will think his mom had a reason to kill Dante. Fi
points out that his mom is incapable, he knows
but, and Fidel comes in to tell them the drops are poison and the
police are here to get Pilar. Pietro runs out.
Everyone is gathered
in the sala, an atty has a paper allowing Pilar to be questioned at home
and the doc and Alina are there to tell the police Pilar’s mental state
is too fragile to leave the ranch and
she could not have attacked Dante or anyone for that matter. Fed comes
in to remind everyone that Pilar has motive, but Elo at least remembers
that so does Fed. Fed says her conscience is clear (yeah so clear it
doesn’t exist) and they can question her any
time they want. The police understand the situation,
but this is serious, its about a murder. The Angeles family is
cooperating but not at the expense of Pilar’s mental health. Ok, the
police will interrogate her at the ranch but they want their
psychologist there.
Os tries to convince
potential investors/partners that ACorp is a strong company w/ a bright
future, but they hav e heard about recent events and even Os telling
them Fed is nuts and Beg is way out can’t
convince them to participate. They’re out.
Fi has blood drawn to
test, she cares most about the pregnancy test results but Pietro is in a
rush to get the DNA test done. Gia overhears Fi talking about Santino
and Juli being her parents and is impactada.
Fidel updates Elo: Fed is giving her statement now and they police will be back with their psychologist tomorrow
to question Pilar. Elo tells Sergio she’s sure it was Fed who poisoned
Dante, after all she
tried to poison Elo, but Sergio’s mind is a million miles away, or
maybe just a few rooms away and he’s not listening. He’s got problems of
his own, but doesn’t want to tell his mom and skates out w/an excuse
about ACorp that doesn’t convince her a bit.
Fi explains to Gia
how she found out she was adopted and assures her that even though they
aren’t related by blood, they will always be sisters and they will
always be together. Gia thinks Juli and Santino
must be excited, and Fi says yes they are and I’m soo mad
at them b/c they abandoned me. Gia reminds her that they made a mistake
but she saw how desperate they were to find her and how hard they
looked for her, and
how much they care about her, and that they are good people and anyone
can make a mistake. Fi agrees that everyone makes mistakes and Gia says
plus yr parents are alive and I would give anything to have mine alive
again. Fi gets real serious and says they
were and always will be my parents too. Gia says she knows but now Fi
has another chance w/brand new parents, don’t do like Roxi did. Fi
thanks her for reminding her and says how she’s so right she seems like
the older sister.
Elo and Sonia chat honestly but nicely.
E – ‘I never thought of you as the mother of my great-grandchildren’
S –‘ Well that’s because you never thought of me as part of your family’
E –‘ You’re right,
but w/time I’ve come to see you in a different light and I realize
you’ll be a good mother, you’re like a lioness about your children’
Sonia playfully rawrs
at Elo but Fed comes in to spoil the good mood w/snide comments,
Elo and Sonia give as good as they get; comparing Fed to a scorpion and
making jokes about killing Dante w/her poison tail and saying she just
might sting/poison
herself one of these days. Fed goes ‘oh the pregnancy made you
smart, now you have two brain cells instead of one.’ Elo goes ‘no she’s
got all her brain cells, its just she only uses two.’ Sonia laughs and
says ‘thanks for the help Elo’ and they chuckle
till Elo changes the subject and asks Fed what she told the police. Fed
says ‘why, afraid I incriminated you?’ but Elo says ‘you’ll never
change, you’ll die bitter and alone.’
Gia tells Gael about
Fi’s new parents and they discuss, Fi won’t change her name and they’ll
still be sisters. Gael asks her advice about whether he should change
his name, but Gia only tells him to listen
to his heart and then hers gives her trouble.
Fi discusses the DNA
test w/Santino and Juli. They ask her to be less formal w/them and she
tries. She will do the DNA test but they know and she already knows
they’re her parents. They exchange an ‘I hope’
look. She knows how hard they looked for her, and even
though there are things about the situation that make her mad she is
also so happy to have them for her parents. She wants to try to get to
know them and care for
them like her parents, with time, though she’ll never deny her other
parents and they’d never want her to, they made her the wonderful person
she is now. Fi said ‘I had the best parents in the world and now I’m
grateful to have the chance to have you for my
parents too.’ They celebrate their new family and that Fi’s not mad
anymore and Sergio listens to them through the door. Sergio thinks Fi
has his smile and Juli hopes they can heal the wounds of the past. Blood
test tomorrow, loving farewell till then.
Alina tries to
reassure Pilar about the interrogation, tells her they have to
investigate to find out who killed Dante. Pilar sighs and tells Alina it
was Fed, she told me she did it. Pilar nods that she’s
sure and then makes the hushing sign to Alina.
Elo and Roxi have tea
(this is just surreal, I could never have imagined writing that) Elo
asks if Roxi is ever gonna move back to her room in the big house and
Rox says her not moving back is not just to
spite Elo or be a brat, though that was a part of it in the beginning,
then she was trying to get to know her mom and now she’s trying to get
away from the memories. She got a job at the hospital in pediatrics. Elo
congratulates her and teases her about traumatizing
the little kids, then asks if it’s a paying job. Roxi confesses its not
so she has no idea how she’s gonna pay her bills, since the trust was
in Quina’s name and she didn’t have a will its all up in the air. Elo
tells her not to worry about it, she’ll take
care of it and work out the trust issue and in the meantime Roxi can
use her credit card, just don’t’ buy too much ok?
Sergio comes to
Juli’s hotel rm to pick a fight w/Santino about stealing Juli from him.
(He really is dumber by the second) Santino tries to explain we’re going
through something here, we found our daughter
and I’m here for Juli’s moral support but Sergio interrupts and says we
don’t even know if she is your daughter and you’re acting like its all
settled but we don’t know yet so why are you treating her like she’s
your daughter. Fi comes along a couple of sentences
into this argument and listens on the other side of the hotel room door
that both men left ajar. Santino that he’s treating Fi like his
daughter b/c she could be and if you hadn’t messed around w/Juli 24
years ago we wouldn’t even have to worry and wonder
about it. Sergio says hey I’m sorry, but I can’t change the past, and I
don’t want you treating her like your daughter b/c she could be mine.
Well Fi has heard enough and knocks on the door and pushes it the rest
of the way open and faces her two potential
fathers, and that awkward scene will have to wait till next time.

Missed things:
A emotive talk between Katia and Agustin (as weird it can sound) Osvaldo succeeded in making Papi Chulo feel like trash for not being able of giving Gael the wealthy life that he has as an Angeles. Papi Chulo doesn't want to cause Gael problems neither spoil Sara's memory but Katia remembers him everything that he did to be with his son.
Continuation:
*Sweet scene of Sonia and Osvaldo. He is talking about fearing that his relationship with Gael is gonna get worst instead of improving. Sonia tells him that Gael doesn't have to change his last name for one of a man that didn't raise him. Then they talk about Acorp going to bankrupcy and Os fears that their baby borns in the middle of the misery. Sonia tries to inject in him some possitive attitude and tells him that their son and she will always be there to support him. Os so tenderly and full of illusion says that he already can't wait for his baby to born and to have it in his arms.
*Katia comes to Rancho Los Angeles and tells Gael that Osvaldo threatened Agustin. Gael is very upset that Osvaldo always interferes in his life and in his decisions and says that he is gonna talk with him.
* Os and Sonia having breakfast. Well Os is more busy looking up in his tablet for investors to try to save Acorp (hey Os what about telling Santino honey) Sonia is happy to see him working hard for a possitive thing and not to take out Pedro's place. Os says something about if they don't work together, probably soon there would be no place neither for Pietro or him. Freddie comes and ruins the good environment with her usual nasty comments threatening of demanding the family and making Os fall down like Pilar that is accused of killing Dante. Os is all shocked and to make it worse, Gael comes screaming at him.
* Gael and Os having a little argument. Gael reproaches him what he did to Agustin and Os justifies himself saying I was thinking only in your wellness. Gael tells him that he is lying, the only thing that matters to him is try to deny what their mother did. Os is ok yes I don't want that to be ventilated but I'm also sure that is the best for you, if you drop off the Angeles name you will not have money. Gael doesn't care so Os kind of uses Gianna's illness to manipulate him and asks him if he has think how much money he is gonna need to save her. On dam Os shoot him in his weak point and Gael is all emotional and apologizing to him for being so harsh and not trusting in him. Os recognizes that he hasn't been the best brother but that he loves him. He even says I would give my heart to you, to Gianna, to Sonia, to my son in order for you all to be happy.
* Gael visits his daddy. Papi Chulo is planning a weekend trip for Gianna, Gael, and him. Oh Gael tells him that he is not going to change his last name.
More missed scenes..
*Pietro telling the investigators to interrogate Domingo and Federica
*Emotive talk between Pilar and Pietro. Pilar notices him sad and he almost tells her about his mess with Fiorella
* Domingo is talking with Simona about his interrogation and suddenly remembers that the day that Dante died, he heard her tell Pilar that she got rid of him.
* Pietro convinces Fiorella of making the dna test because if they are going to have children, they have to make sure that they are not borned with Gianna's heart disease
* Fiorella telling Dr. Elizalde that she is adopted and that her real parents are Julieta and Santino
* Roxana applying in the internet for a volunteer job in a hospital
* Alvaro (Mario's half brother) offer his economic help to Vittorio to rescue his restaurants
Oh I forgot to mention that Federica heard Simona and Domingo's conversation and that the door in the kitchen was open. And maybe I left out other scenes. I think that they cut some of Pilar's crying and screaming, Federica with the investigators blaming Domingo and Pilar of poisoning Dante.
Sneaky Shoes- Well I think that maybe Os in his own way is for first time kind of worried about Gael's future. The most easy thing would be to tell the family that Gael is not an Angeles and use that to bump him from the will but he also is kind of trying to protect his mom's memory. But yeah unfortunately, he still has that horrible manipulation habbit and all he talks and thinks about is money. There was a rough comment that he made to Gael in his conversation with him: How pretty that you love each other but that is not going to help you save Gianna.
Where I lived, Univision passed Muchacha Italiana and El Hotel de los secretos but I feel that Muchacha Italiana was again edited. I dont know how many episodes were combined because we already are in the 20 minute episodes of Mexico and still with too much scissors.
Hello to the people of this forum< Am chizzy from Texas and i can say that am the happiest person on earth since last week with what DR UKO has done for me , it all started last year October when my fiance left me in Texas and travel to see his parents in Ohio at first him was still calling me and show love even when him was away , but it gets to a point when he no longer gives a shit about me , and i noticed it so when i tried to confront him , he told me that he dose not love me again that he feel like being alone i was shocked and heartbroken when i tried talking he will hang the phone on me i was so heart broken and i was frustrated about this , but on a second thought i was not convince that he was on his right senses so i discuss this with my elder sister who lives in California and she directed me to DR UKO of ukospelltemple@yahoo.com saying that the man has helped her friend in such case before so i said to my self let me tried i contacted this man and explain everything to him and behold dr uko said to me what am to do and i did exactly what he and he said after three days my fiance will call me and once he calls me i should pick the calls and he gave some other instructions . so i said okay , but to my best surprise on the 7th of November my fiancee called me and started saying on the phone am sorry it was like a dream to me , with this i said i will tell the world of his dr UKO goodness in my life , so if any one is out there and needs help in his or her relationship can also contact him today via

The insensitive, even sadistic torturing of this character is one of the most odious things I have EVER seen in my life!
Thank you for that detailed translation of the conversation between Gianna and Roxana. There can be no doubt Roxi is redeemed! This is one of the most heartfelt, convinicing redemptions of a character I have EVER seen! Just wonderful.
The later scene between Roxi and Elo was nice too and I had to chuckle at this:
Elo and Roxi have tea (this is just surreal, I could never have imagined writing that)
Ah, Pedro. You couldn't talk to the love of your life because. . .

So she has to hear it from Santino and that whine-o Sergio! I hope Fifi still has some of her anger left and rips Sergio a new one! Pedro's likely going to be on the receiving end, too. . .or maybe she's still all full of forgiveness from the wonderful talk Gianna gave her.
I LOVE GIANNA! Gianna has made her see the light. All those points Gigi made were probably floating around in her head mixed up with the anger but Gianna pulled it all together and it made sense, served up with love. Those two are great together.
I HATE FEDERICA I want her to go down HARD!! I want her not only not get one red centavo (or whatever color they are) I want her to find out that Gabriel was a crook and liar in his own right and NOT an Angeles! I want her penniless and in a prison for the criminally insane cursed to wear a plain, rough, beige jumper for the rest of her days!

Again, sounds like I have been saved from fussing from these cut scenes.
Katia's role in this is so forced and so unecessary. It sure feels like a last minute tack on. Like they made this stuff up everyday. Thought she was going back to Portugal! Sheesh!

SneakyTwoShoes thank you so, so much for the great and witty recap! "Elo and Roxi have tea...this is just surreal..." I agree but it was a well done scene. So was the scene between Rox and Gianna. It played well, didn't seem fakey and was a true "Awww...." moment.
Totally agree that the terrorizing of a person (Pilar) in a weakened mental state has been done to death in this TN and then some. ENOUGH already. Lila if I may borrow: "Jeezo-Freakin'-Pete!"

* Gael and Os having a little argument. Gael reproaches him what he did to Agustin and Os justifies himself saying I was thinking only in your wellness. Gael tells him that he is lying, the only thing that matters to him is try to deny what their mother did. Os is ok yes I don't want that to be ventilated but I'm also sure that is the best for you, if you drop off the Angeles name you will not have money. Gael doesn't care so Os kind of uses Gianna's illness to manipulate him and asks him if he has think how much money he is gonna need to save her. On dam Os shoot him in his weak point and Gael is all emotional and apologizing to him for being so harsh and not trusting in him. Os recognizes that he hasn't been the best brother but that he loves him. He even says I would give my heart to you, to Gianna, to Sonia, to my son in order for you all to be happy.
* Gael visits his daddy. Papi Chulo is planning a weekend trip for Gianna, Gael, and him. Oh Gael tells him that he is not going to change his last name.

*Pietro telling the investigators to interrogate Domingo and Federica
*Emotive talk between Pilar and Pietro. Pilar notices him sad and he almost tells her about his mess with Fiorella
* Domingo is talking with Simona about his interrogation and suddenly remembers that the day that Dante died, he heard her tell Pilar that she got rid of him.
* Pietro convinces Fiorella of making the dna test because if they are going to have children, they have to make sure that they are not borned with Gianna's heart disease
* Fiorella telling Dr. Elizalde that she is adopted and that her real parents are Julieta and Santino
* Roxana applying in the internet for a volunteer job in a hospital
* Alvaro (Mario's half brother) offer his economic help to Vittorio to rescue his restaurants

Oh I forgot to mention that Federica heard Simona and Domingo's conversation and that the door in the kitchen was open. And maybe I left out other scenes. I think that they cut some of Pilar's crying and screaming, Federica with the investigators blaming Domingo and Pilar of poisoning Dante.
Sneaky Shoes- Well I think that maybe Os in his own way is for first time kind of worried about Gael's future. The most easy thing would be to tell the family that Gael is not an Angeles and use that to bump him from the will but he also is kind of trying to protect his mom's memory. But yeah unfortunately, he still has that horrible manipulation habbit and all he talks and thinks about is money. There was a rough comment that he made to Gael in his conversation with him: How pretty that you love each other but that is not going to help you save Gianna.

Where I lived, Univision passed Muchacha Italiana and El Hotel de los secretos but I feel that Muchacha Italiana was again edited. I dont know how many episodes were combined because we already are in the 20 minute episodes of Mexico and still with too much scissors.

Thank you for your excellent recap. "He’s relieved but confused, what could it all mean? (losing brain cells by the minute this guy)" was my favorite line of many.
Pedro is being stone cold to Fiorella and while I understand he is (naturally) upset, I thought they had a stronger relationship in that he should have sat her down and told her the truth. To me, the most successful TNs are ones in which once they get together, the couples work and stay together and fight the lingering obstacles in their way.
I'm glad Eloisa is accepting Roxi and finally, embracing Sonia. It appears she is well on the way to redemption.
