Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #120 2-15-16 It's a Family Affair!

Ciao, Patio Peeps!  Well, here we are in the last full week of La Muchacha and they didn't waste time with refritos so.....Andiamo!

Eloisa visits Freddie in prison.  Freddie thinks she's there to mock her.  Eloisa tearfully tells Freddie that she is sorry things turned out this way.  Hmm, Freddie's not wearing beige or orange.  Maybe she got to wear her own clothes cause she's "sposhsul!"  Freddie charges the bars with a screeching yelp when Eloisa says that she didn't have to kill Dante.  Two guards drag Freddie back to her cage!

Sergio is having a "confession is good for the soul" kinda day so he gives Pilar the short version of the "masquerade boink and now my two kids might be married to each other" fiasco he created. Pilar appreciates the full weight of the abomination:  he cheated on her and he may be the father of their son's wife.  She cries and pushes back on the bed to escape his touch.  "Why did you marry me just to make me suffer!  You're a horrible man!  You're still horrible!"

Santino and Julieta are in bed and yes, they are glowing.  Ummm.  Santino's finely muscled chest and tight skin must feel heavenly to Julieta who looks right pleased about now.  We get a nice view of his tastefully developed biceps and pecs as he lowers the phone.  The DNA results are in!  Soon they will know if Fiorella is their daughter!

Pedro enters the employee's kitchen where Fiorella is tense and worried:  Gianna is preparing to go to the hospital.  She fears a heart won't be found.  Pedro offers his reassurance that everything will go well and then brings up the DNA.  They both dearly hope Santino is her father and if not?  Pedro says they shouldn't even think about it.  They have to be strong and united for Gianna.  They'll find out about the DNA soon enough.  They share a brotherly/sisterly hug.  [Gosh, that haunting and plaintive tune playing in the back ground sure is beautiful and fits the mood just right.]

In the hallyway of the Rancho, Domingo and Simoneta take a moment to congratulate themselves on being undercover superheros for having brought down the psychotic Freddie.  Each playfully insists the other is the greater hero. Simoneta is overcome with emotion, spins the dimunitive Domingo around and bends him backward for a passionate kiss!  OW!

We have Benni and Roxi talking about a video that Benni took of Roxi working with children at the hospital.  Apparently the video has gone viral with the headline:  "Lady Angeles strikes again." Would have been funnier if they hadn't edited this whole plot point out.

Still in the kitchen, Pedro gets a call from Santino!  The DNA results are in and he and Julieta will be right over.

Sergio continues on his soul-baring rampage, this time with Eloisa.  He whines about having lost Julieta forever.  Not real sympathetically, Eloisa correctly guesses it's because of the 24 year old. . .say it with me. . .masquerade boink.  But wait, there's more!  "Julieta is Fiorella's mother. . ."

Back in the employee's quarters Gael is with Gianna who is in bed.  Augustin comes to extend his best wishes to Gianna.  She is so weak, all she can manage is a smile and a grazie before she falls asleep.  Gael and Augustin step to the door and Gael tells Augustin with quiet excitement that he will accept his name and it won't affect his getting his share of the Angeles inheritance.  The two embrace, Papi Chulo's beautiful eyes shine softly, Gael's brightly.  They are both very happy!

Freddie's Lawyer tells her there is no way he can get her out.  The charges are too serious.  An official joins them and informs her that for the charge of murder of Dante and attempted murder of Domingo, she will be held without bail.  Freddie turns slowly away from the two and we are pleased to see that cocky smirk has finally been wiped off this heffa's face!

Back to Sergio and Eloisa who gasps in recognition of the possible incestuous pairing borne of Sergio's dastardly deed!  Eloisa declares that what he has done has no name and she can't believe a child of her has done something so low!  She won't let Sergio hide behind genetic endowment.  Maximo was a cad but he must take responsibility for his own acts!  Sergio thinks the family is cursed.  Eloisa doesn't stay in outraged, scolding mode for too long and tells Sergio that she is the last one who can save him.  What does she mean?  Now time for Eloisa to confess:  "I killed your father!"

Julieta and Santino have arrived at the Ranch.  They go into the study with Pedro and Fiorella.  She wonders if Sergio should be there.  Everybody essentially brushes this off.  They just want to hear the results already!  You can cut the tension with a knife!  We wait through a commercial and return to find Pedro in possession of a big, white envelope.  Pedro opens the envelope, one hand drops and the other goes to his forehead and temple as he walks away.  Julieta stands, Santino looks on expectantly and Fiorella asks him to tell them the results for the love of God!  He turns to face them, eyes wild, jaw tight.  "You won't believe this but. . . .Santino is Fiorella's father!

Yes!  He played them!  Can you freakin' believe that!

Anyway, hugs and kisses all around.  Pedro and Fiorella fly into each other's arms and there's nothing familial about their hungry kisses!

Eloisa continues her story of how Maximo begged her and she reluctantly complied with smothering him to put him out of his misery.  She tells Sergio that Dante was there and saw everything.  I didn't quite get why Gabriel's name was mentioned.  I think it was that she held the killing of Gabriel over Dante's head and he held the killing of Max over hers and thus the killer's creed that bound them.  Eloisa cries that she's no better than Federica and Dante. Sergio comforts the sobbing Eloisa and promises her never to divulge the secret and she should relax,  she should not compare herself with Dante or Freddie and she has suffered enough! What she did was out of love and she helped her husband die with dignity!  [I think I hear the not so distant sound of gagging from some of my friends on the Patio!]  There is a knock on the door.  It's Fidel.  Pedro wants everyone to come to the living room.

Roxi gets settled back in her old room in the big house.  She puts a picture of her mother, Quina, on her nightstand.  Benni knocks and there is more fury from her over her video now morphing into a meme on the internet.  He asks if she likes having moved back into her old room and becoming an Angeles again, does she have everything she needs?  "Yes, I have everything I need but I would exchange it in a heartbeat for one more embrace from my Mama."  Benni kisses her forehead and pulls her close.

Whoa!  Gael and Augustin are still exchanging misty father/son man hugs!  Augustin finally offers whatever help Gael needs and leaves.  Gianna wakes up with a start! Gael runs to her bedside.  She had a nightmare that everything went bad with the operation and they couldn't find her a heart!  She cries that she is so afraid.  He holds her and tells her not to worry.  It was only a dream.  Everything will be fine.

Freddie gets simultaneously taunted, checked out and sniffed by her bad ass prison cellmate.  AND she gets an offer to get sprung. . .for a price.  Freddie roughly rejects her but is shown she is no longer alpha bitch via stolen shoes and a homemade prison knife.  Bet them betraying Angeles are looking pretty good about now, ain't they Freddie?

Everyone gathers in the living room, including Fidel, Simoneta and Domingo.  [Seems funny not typing Quina].  Fiorella announces to the stunned gathering that Julieta and Santino are her parents.   Sonia asks if it's a joke, Pilar lifts her eyes heavenward and clasps them in a silent prayer of thanksgiving.  Simoneta bubbles with excitement that Fiorella is a Princess!  Sergio looks sick.  Roxi, never able to NOT be herself exclaims that does that mean Fiorella is rich?  "Does she have more money than me?"  Eloisa answers that Fiorella has more money than all of the Angeles put together.  Julieta and Santino welcome Fiorella to their lives.  More hugs and smiles.  Eloisa gets emotional and proclaims it a miracle and then, "I don't know why I didn't figure it out before:  you two are identical!"

There follows a montage of Santino, Julieta, Pedro and Fiorella laughing and talking and bonding on the sofa all night long.   Sergio enters the room wearing a house coat the next morning and Sergio and Julieta decide they must go home.  Pedro and Fiorella see them off and Fiorella asks to speak to Sergio in the study.

In trademark Fiorella fashion she stops him from taking a drink and gives him a reality check.  "You are lucky that the barbarity you committed twenty four years ago did not turn out to be a tragedy for me and Pedro.  I think you should be thankful."  He counters with he feels terrible, he always hurts the ones he loves:  Pilar is destroyed and Pedro won't even look at him!  Fifi ain't having it.  "Life is giving you a second chance.  You almost faced a catastrophe.  Take advantage of this second chance.  Life is beautiful, you are handsome!  You can make up for lost time.  Think of Pilar and your son.  Think of the passel of kids (futbol team) Pedro and I are going to have.  They need a grandpa!"  That gets him.  He stands up, hugs her and thanks her for his words.  She may not be his daughter but he's happy she is his son's wife.

We get our second glowing couple of the . . .what is it, wee hours of the morning?  Osvaldo and Sonia cuddle in bed and he just cant seem to get enough of kissing her.  She gets a call.  She's been hired for a singing gig!  Wow!  Osvaldo HAS changed!  He doesn't make a crack and he's happy for her.  More smiling smooches!

Finally, Gael pushes Gianna past a receiving line of the Angeles clan and staff: Santino, Julieta, Simoneta, Fidel, Roxi, Benni, Sergio, Eloisa, Domingo, Pedro and Fiorella.  Everyone has words of encouragement and love for her which Gianna smiles through.  Roxi tells Gianna she is not allowed to abandon her!  Pedro tells her, "Bambina, you will be fine!"  When she gets to Fiorella, Fifi's tears bring out her own. "Tutto bene. . .va tutto bene."  Gael wheels her out the door and I am left wondering why Fiorella is not going with them!

That's all for tonight, Peeps!  Correct, expand, discuss. . .andiamo!

Good morning Lila! Wonderful, just wonderful as always. How you do it recap after recap...amazing.

"I am left wondering why Fiorella is not going with them!"

That would be you and me both. First, an ambulance should have taken her, second, I was left wondering if suddenly Gael is her monetary signer because otherwise, WTH? Someone signs those forms when your admitted...just saying. All this from Gael with the having to be there to help Gia with whatever makes me wonder where the hell Petey and wifey-po are in that equation.

Freddie looks to be able to wreak her requisite Final week episodes. There is nothing remotely interesting in any of that except to see if she goes totally off the edge. Might be fun to watch. Hopefully she doesn't take another good person down with her.

My thanks to the directors for the random Shirtless Santino scene and the several closeups of Papa C's gorgeous eyes. We ladies of years on the patio were ever so grateful.

Especially, yes, Lila, after gagging over the Elo and Sergio self-sympathy scenes. Couldn't done without that love fest of being ever so lovey over their respected crimes and crap behavior. Whatever.

I almost fell off my chair watching the coming attractions for the next TN at this hour. I had been somewhat wondering if I would watch seeing our hunky Horatio (Renato)getting a lead already after La Sombra. Then I see Aitanna and I almost screamed. I'm sorry, I don't think I could take a back to back TN viewing of that same bratty Hairball. Guess my 7:00 slot will be free.

Daisynjay

Buongiorno a tutti!

Mille, mille grazie, Daisy! Yeah, Daisy. It made no sense that Fiorella didn't go with her. So Gael went because he's going to pay the bill? What does that have to do with the loving support of the only person in that group that has loved you and been with you all your life? And yah, no ambulance. No wonder Gigi has been having nightmares: her medical mismanagement has been breath taking!

I think Freddie is going to accept this chick's help in getting her out. I don't think her assets are frozen and I don't know how she'd get money to the prison chick but you know none of that has to make any sense.

My thanks to the directors for the random Shirtless Santino scene and the several closeups of Papa C's gorgeous eyes. We ladies of years on the patio were ever so grateful.

Amen, sister!

Daisy, I was thinking of you with the gagging part! Hee hee!

And re the coming attraction, besides it being a LaToodle-o production, this will keep me away as well:

I'm sorry, I don't think I could take a back to back TN viewing of that same bratty Hairball.

Yikes!

Muchas gracias ever faithful Lila...you are the best. Got quite a kick out of your "sposhul" quip (could almost HEAR it) and your romance novel description of Santino's fine musculature. And yes, darn it, really bummed out that I missed that scene. Out to a meeting and didn't record last night, but thoroughly enjoyed your recap this morning.

Now a tedious rant (which I've no doubt done before) but it drives me NUTS when characters, listening to someone else's fear and anxiety, blithely assure them "Don't worry, it'll be fine." THEY DON'T KNOW THAT. Better to empathize gently with the person and let it be. All my life, growing up, I heard basically the same thing "Don't feel that way. Don't feel the way you're feeling. Feel the way I WANT you to feel" And it doesn't work.

False reassurances only occur because the listener is uncomfortable and doesn't want to hear any more. Whereas the anxious person (or angry person...whatever) NEEDS to be heard and probably needs to say a lot more.

Lord! Don't know what brought that on. Maybe a year of Fiorellas Walt Disbey chirpiness.

Anyway, Lila, you always "listen" beautifully to your commenters and empathize enthusiastically. You rock! Thanks.

Praying safe travels for all of you (including me) on the road this snowy day...

Lovely Lila.

"tastefully developed biceps and pecs" and "Freddie gets simultaneously taunted, checked out and sniffed by her bad ass prison cellmate" were amazing.

You seamlessly manage to capture all the events with a wry yet realistic touch. Wonderful.

At last, confirmation of the fact Fiorella is not Sergio's daughter. I'm glad Fiorella talked him out of his loathsome self pity and made him realize he has much to be happy about (and certainly relieved). I don't for one moment believe that he analyzed the devastation Fiorella being his daughter would bring on all those he loves. As usual, he is only caught up in his small, tiny emotional world.

I won't say what I thought I saw in the previews, but it appears a new heart may be available shortly. I really hope there will be an hour when we get to see the happily ever after that our couples deserve.

Lila, thank you!

Diana

Thank you Lila :)

1.) I'm wondering the same thing about why didn't Fio go with them.

2.) Sergio cares only about Sergio!

3.) Gut feeling Freddie will escape from prison!

Thanks, Lila! ITA with everyone's assessment of the scene between Sergio and Eloisa. How nice that they let each other off the hook. I'm sure they both feel better now, but not sure why any of us should care.

Fi and Pedro not being the ones taking Gi to the hospital (nor an ambulance) smells like plot contrivance to me. Guess we'll find out why tonight. No need to get worked up about it. It's not meant to make sense.

I would also like to thank the writers for the generous Santino and Augusto time. It was funny when Elo said Fi and Juli look just alike. Has anyone on the show ever said that about Papi Chulo and Gael? It's kind of funny if no on has, since the casting and makeup people went through such pains to make them practically look like twins.

Grazie tantissimo, JudyB!

Judy, I am so glad to hear you say this:

. . .it drives me NUTS when characters, listening to someone else's fear and anxiety, blithely assure them "Don't worry, it'll be fine." THEY DON'T KNOW THAT.. .

I also cringe at these facile reassurances. Your counsel to empathize and just be there and listen is so valuable. Akin to this is being told "tranquila" when the world is coming to an end, and the wolf, accompanied by the angel of death is knocking at the door.

Tranquila, puedes hacer daño!

No! The world is coming to an end! That is what can hacerme daño, dammit!

Traveling mercies to you, amica mia!!

Mille, mille grazie, Dianita! You are SO right about Sergio:

I don't for one moment believe that he analyzed the devastation Fiorella being his daughter would bring on all those he loves.

Yes, caught up in his emotional world and at the bottom of a bottle of booze. A while back Fiorella offered him some refreshment and he said, "Sí, voy a tomar el té...quila." It was kind of funny. Wish he'd dry up and help Pilar.

Me too for happily ever after, Diana! And let us spend some time with them in their happiness!

Grazie tanto, Steve! Yep on all three points. I also can't see these writers letting a chance go for some high drama by having Freaky Freddie get out of jail, even if just for a few hours to raise hell one more time at Rancho de Los Ángeles!!

Grazie tanto, Vivi ITA with this:

Fi and Pedro not being the ones taking Gi to the hospital (nor an ambulance) smells like plot contrivance to me.

Yeah, girl, it REEKS! Who boy, and it'll probably be a doozy!

Oooo, Santino and Papi Chulo! But especially Santino! Man, I'll forgive him that one bad hair day: my man was ROCKIN' them muscles! Whoo! Where's my fan!

That was funny when Eloisa said Fifi and Julieta look identical and NO, no one has ever breathed a word about Papi Chulo and Gael! Amazing! Even Gael should have felt like he was looking in a time-warp mirror when he looks at Papi! Oh well, most of these folks have had their heads stuck somewhere else during this whole crazy ride!

Gracias, Lila; nothing missing from last night.

Was anyone else as outraged as I was when Sergio confessed to Pilar about the masquerade boinking? There was no good reason to tell her anything about that until the results were in... and then only if the worst cast scenario had played out. This was so selfish and self-serving it was beyond belief. At this rate Pilar will never heal.

Proof positive that this novela should have had a priest or better yet a worthy shrink. The only problem with that would have been that delving into his issues would have changed the tone of the series.

As to Federica, there is just enough time for her to break out and be captured or killed. However, isn't it equally likely that her attitude will get her offed in prison?

Oops; worst case scenario. Shouldn't post before caffeine.

You keep pounding them out Lila and not even a hint of burnout. Thank you

So Eloisa always knew Dante killed Gabriel and likely Freddies claim legitimate. No wonder Freddie when nuts.

The Angeles are a total mess and hope no encouragement given to Petey and Fifi to reproduce. Well, let me rethink this, the TN world needs more spoiled, lazy, rich, lying, thieving, cheating, murdering, silicone enhanced, whining drunks. Fornicate away.

Mille grazie, Urban!

Hey, you're right! Sergio didn't have to tell Eloisa about the masquerade boink. You know what, though, "selfish and self-serving" fit right in with how Sergio has acted through this whole thing. Disgusting, but consistent!

ITA about the Priest or the shrink. No priest and then the shrink was a skank though they tried to rehabilitate her image somewhat.

Also agree about Freddie. Either of those scenarios seem entirely possible!

Hey, grazie tanto, Tofie!

So Eloisa always knew Dante killed Gabriel and likely Freddies claim legitimate. No wonder Freddie when nuts.

You know what? Freddie WAS literally screwed! Her uncle had her father, his own brother, murdered and then she was forced to live in that uncle's house along with her aunt who KNEW her husband killed his own brother and then gets drawn into a "relationship" out of loneliness and desperation where she is screwed by her father's killer! Freddie should have been a sympathetic character but they went out their way to make her hateful! Damn.

The worst of it was she was channeling her hate at a younger generation who knew nothing about any of this, including two members whose knowledge of their own parentage was deficient.

[eye rollage]

Freddie was Gianna's age when this began. It's horrible. When I look at Freddie, Pilar and Gianna's torturous life compared to the queen, her court and Fifi the princess it doesn't seem fair. What kind of fairytale is this?

Really. The number of sins being washed away with a tear and a hug are amazing! Think of the hypocrisy of Eloisa's visit to the jail and telling Freddie she is sorry things went this far! She knew Freddie's father was swindled and murdered by her husband and even if she didn't know Freddie and Dante were intimate, she must've known they had some kind of close relationship. All those years she knew what was rightfully Freddie's, yet denied it, harbored the murderer in her home as her close confident thus enabling and encouraging Freddie's embitterment and hatred of the whole family.

I kept thinking there was something about Gabriel that we didn't know, that somehow Max would be in the right and he hadn't really swindled Gabriel at all but it sure doesn't look like it. Yah. Freddie got screwed and probably will soon pay with her life for one last act of vengeance.

Kind of a dark "comedy" isn't it?

Lila: "The number of sins being washed away with a tear and a hug are amazing!"

And don't forget, MONEY! That's helping to ease the Angeles family pain too.

Ironically Osvaldo was the only one that noticed that Gael and Papi Chulo were very similar in the reunion that he had with Agustin but Univision cut out that scene.

You're right, Vivi! Are we giving this thing more depth than it deserves? It certainly seems like the evil is not being defeated at all, just whistled away. . . ."It's a hap, hap, happy day. . .!"

Oh, thanks Marla! I know I didn't remember anyone mentioning it!

The only advantage Fiorella had over Federica is having had loving parents.

Mario's wife died fairly young. Fiorella does not have the education Gianna is now getting, she worked at a menial job to help support Mario and Gianna, took care of chronically ill Gianna after their mother died, and was barely able to make ends meet. When Mario died she felt obligated to marry Vittorio despite him having conned her into it by sending an old photo. The Angeles family treated her like crap while Federica's behavior was enabled.

I don't see how Fiorella was better off. She went through a lot of hell during which Federica tried to frame her for things she did. She gets the reward of a loving husband and wealthy birth parents.

Federica could have done something with her life and she chose to stay on the ranch, spitting venom, and trying to destroy the rest of her family. She doesn't seem to care about the company going bankrupt. No sympathy from me.

Lila, there was a scene where Osvaldo accused Augustin of taking advantage of the resemblance. I don't remember it being in this episode, though.

Ok, so somebody DID notice the resemblance between Augustin and Gael? Thanks.

I don't see how Fiorella was better off

Who said that?

I'm looking at Freddie within the context of her family, the Angeles. Maximo, Eloisa and Dante got away with murder and theft. The Angeles DID wrong Freddie, Eloisa has always known it and let Freddie spiral into crazy vengeful mode knowing everything she alleged against Maximo was true and she never sought to right the wrong even after Maximo died.

Whatever Fiorella is or got from the Angeles family doesn't figure into my assessment. She is, of course, absolutely not connected to any of the dark deeds of Max, Eloisa and Dante.

One can acknowledge a wrong has been done without feeling pity or absolving the person from any contribution they made to their current situation. Freddie killed Dante. She is where she belongs.

By the time Maximo died it would have been too late. He died just under a year from where the curtain went up on this tale. Federica was already an adult long before this, so why didn't she say or do something long before?

[Real answer: It wouldn't have served the plot.]

I can't wait to see Ratana's face when she finds out that Fiorella is a duchess.

Lila - Thank you for the recap!!! Your whole first paragraph --- the Elo/Fed scene in the jail, was cut by my local Univision in favor of commercials and this episode began mid-convo between Sergio & Pilar. Argh.

There are so many great comments here already that I don't have much to add, except "ditto!"... I am so ready for these people to be out of my life and this telenovela to end, that I didn't even react to the tontería last night. Why bother, when it has been written by 6th-graders? Really, Televisa/Univision, just git 'er done.

All of a sudden Julieta is in bed with Santino? QTH?
I kept hoping Gi would not drop dead of heart failure during the 'receiving' exit line that took forever. Gah.
Of course Sergio had to confess to Pilar about the masquerade boink because it is all about him. He is such a narcissist, as are most alcoholics.
I await the Por Fin, to get closure and get this turkey out of my life. LOL

Oh wow Urban A...I didn't even think about Aitana finding out about Fi's royal blood! That would be sweet! Oh, make it happen Pu-lease with strawberries on top! I love that everyone else is sucking on crow with this "oh crap she is stupid rich" revelation. I'm just afraid at what is to come with only a few episodes left. Nail-biting and cringing has started again. No one died forever (except Diana's mom...but she was a nobody) now they want to kill everybody! Oh well..

You know what. Maybe they edited it out but I don't remember hearing anything definite about Santino's background. I only remember some vague reference when he first appeared in the story. Not that I doubt Fiorella will be a Duchess, but they should have emphasized that more just for the whole Fairy Tale schtick and so we could enjoy things like Ratana and Freddie being green with envy. Since Roxi got religion, she took the news fairly graciously.

Got a meeting coming up. Will try to get to a couple comments I see.

Doris! Mille grazie! You crack me up!

There are so many great comments here already that I don't have much to add, except "ditto!"... I am so ready for these people to be out of my life and this telenovela to end, that I didn't even react to the tontería last night

It has been real, hasn't it. Yah, the build up to Santino scoring with Julieta was cut out but this crew is good with the easy insertion of boinking into the story line. Sheesh!

I think that in Friday's episode they also cut out a scene of Sergio talking to Pilar about the same, that Fiorella could be his daughter. I included it in my long list of deleted scenes but it seems that these writers sometimes write similar scenes in which they keep repeating the same thing all over again.

Okay.... got some more work done so I get rewarded with more Patio time.

” Roxi, never able to NOT be herself exclaims that does that mean Fiorella is rich? ‘Does she have more money than me?’ ”
LOL That was so priceless and so Roxi. I have grown quite fond of her.

”Eloisa answers that Fiorella has more money than all of the Angeles put together.”
Given the current financial condition of Acorp right now, the Patio Peeps, combined, probably have more money than all the Angeles put together.

There was a scene much earlier in which Santino talked a little about the titles in his family and that there was some legal procedure for him to have his father's titles, but nothing else. He made it sound like a relatively unimportant detail. Considering that Italy's monarchy was abolished and these titles aren't meaningful in terms of government since 1946, this would explain his attitude.

Here is the article that explains it. Orsini is a name among the list of papal nobility. Maybe Santino is descended from a Renaissance pope?

Lila, a lovely recap. And kinda funny. Bitter
Sweetly so.
So glad the baby daddy drama is solved. And
The happy couple is back to the ol tongue wrestling again. Happily so.
The gag fest,"you are not like Dante and fredy, what you did you was out of love". Ok Really? Ok. Move on.
Fifi is a stand up lady. Talkin to her daddy inlaw, and encouraging him to be a better person and move on and stay away from the booze. and he should be the man that Pilar deserves and not the wimp he has been for the past 25 + years.( I put that in for pilar).
This was a good episode. There is happiness
All around. Which is ......... we'll see tonight.
The wicked witch is dead, (sorta)freddy.
Fi can maybe help pull the Acorp out of the moneymess they're in.
Quina would proud, Our Little Roxi has really grown up. Ok on to the next episode.

Thanks Lila, fabulous as always.
I'm with Doris, "ditto."
Fiorella had better get herself to the hospital and support her sister, right now. And stop saying everything will be fine. It's a heart transplant, not an ingrown toenail!
Judy, you are so right about people telling you how to feel. It doesn't work that way. I'm having a little trouble with this storyline for personal reasons and hate it that they're all puppies and daisies about it. Rant over...
Is anybody planning to watch the new 7:00 show? Mike and I aren't sure we want to see the Aitana hair again so soon.
Thanks again, Lila for going above and beyond for us.

Don't know. Some of those cast members are people I like, but I'll have to see after one or two episodes.

Doris at 4:10. Yah Fifi wasn't trying to be rich and ends up wimming in it and royalty as well. Diana was willing to deny her son to get at Vitto's wealth and ended up in the slammer.

Anybody who cares: Is she out of jail yet?

Ciao e mille grazie, Emilia! Y'all make it easy! Best dang patio on Caray!

Who was asking about what follows Lichita @ 8:00 p.m.?

Here is what I heard is coming next: Sueño de amor
http://www.peopleenespanol.com/article/anuncian-fecha-de-estreno-en-eeuu-de-sueno-de-amor

LILA, finally had a chance to read your recap--yup, you said it!
As always you have captured the episode and given it back to us in magical way that makes us not want to gag and yell quite so much. :o)

The scene of Gael wheeling Gi outside to the hospital looked more like Franklin Delano Roosevelt going through a receiving line. Really? No standby medics, no oxygen, huh?

Knowing tonight's show is already starting, so I will just say Mille Grazie, sister!
Hugs to you,

J in Oregon

Lila thanks

"she is the last one who can save him. What does she mean? Now time for Eloisa to confess: "I killed your father!"" What does that have to do with anything?

"Yes! He played them! Can you freakin' believe that!" son-of-a-gun!

Welp looks like we're done, we can wrap the story up now
just find some random to give Gia a heart and that's it
Seriously, how are they going to ruin this now?

Ciao, J in Oregon, amica mia! Mille grazie!
Un grande abbraccio a te, troppo!

;D

Sneaky! Sorellina mia! It's all yours, honey! This is your last night. Mille, mille, grazie tantississimo!

Yall its been a blast. You guys are amazing,
Recappers & commenters alike. Thanks for
All the fun and wacky stuff, the serious stuff,
The sad stuff, even some weird stuff. This sounds like a final fairwell. We'll be talkin yet
Again about the craziness and nuttiness in
These crazy telenovellas. The next one, I hear
The hairy one is in. That girl that was in the otherTn Corazon es teyu she looked more grown Up in that one than the one comin up. Maybe it's the way her hair is styled.I wonder
If pilar will take serg back? What we got 3 nites left? Anything can happen.

Omg I wish I had found this blog sooner!!!! I watch with English captions at my Spanish speaking in laws house. Idk if anyone else has this problem but the captions have been sooooo messed up the last few nights. Thank you for doing these recaps! I feel like if it's screwed up I can relax now and just fill in the holes later now. Lol

Buongiorno, guys. Okay. I missed some comments yesterday. Don't talk about last night's episode! Let's not steal Sneaky's Thunder. Her recap should be up later in the afternoon! Keep checking back!

Urban @4:21. Okay, thanks. That's all I remember, a conversation in which he didn't emphasize it much. Thanks for this article!

Ciao, Nina! Mille grazie, amica! Your whole comment is quotable but I like this:

The happy couple is back to the ol tongue wrestling again. Happily so. . .Fifi is a stand up lady. Talkin to her daddy inlaw, and encouraging him to be a better person and move on and stay away from the booze. and he should be the man that Pilar deserves and not the wimp he has been for the past 25 + years.( I put that in for pilar).

Nina@ 9:30. We end on Monday, Feb 22, No show Thursday, Feb 18 and in some places today, Wednesday Feb 17, the show starts an hour later so check your local listings!

Buongiorno, mille grazie e benvenuto al Patio, Laura! Gosh darn! I guess it's better late than never. We've only got three more shows but you can always go back and read recaps for points you might have missed in some favorite episodes.

I try not to use captions at all but to make sure I get stuff right and to help my Spanish, I will use the Spanish captions and every now and then check something with English captions and sometimes they are WAY wacky: messing up tenses, gender, skipping whole lines of dialogue or being TOTALLY out of synch. I'm glad you found us! Check out the rest of the blog!

Spanish closed captions were really slow on Monday night. Wednesday had Gianna spelled as Jana. Uy!

Yeah.. I saw that. I do better with them off.. Distracting!

The Spanish closed captions are GREAT on Hulu! Much better than on Univision.

The captions help my vocabulary including idioms, so I've forced myself to use them. 😜

That's a good idea, Doris and for that reason, hulu IS a better choice! captions are on point!
