Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #124 Monday, 2-22-16 The Grand Finale!!!!

Well, beloved MIVAC Patio Peeps, we've come to the end of our little drama in Dos Rios and the beginning of a new life for Pedro and Fiorella; Gianna and Gael.  Let's see how it unfolded.

We are welcomed into the finale with the vintage clip from the original novela which morphs into the present day opening and the absolutely beautiful Pedro and Fiorella's theme, Adonde va Nuestro Amor.

We are flung immediately into the gasoline-soaked foyer where the prostrate Fidel lies, still unconscious.  Suddenly we see Pedro wrestling Freddie for the lighter and he seems to be having a hard time subduing her.  There is an awkward edit or either I blinked for a long time but instantaneously Freddie has been apprehended by several dudes.  She curses the family as she is dragged out.  Everyone is there holding their noses and complaining about how the place reeks of gasoline.  There is light chatter about how Freddie should have been in prison and a freshly showered Fidel is briefly scolded about the lax security.  He apologizes and offers the excuse of the family emergency.  Pedro excuses him.  Pilar frets that Freddie will come back.  The scene is rounded out as the family announces they're all going back to bed and P-yew! it smells in there.  Simoneta gets to clean the whole mess up as they scurry away.

The next morning, the whole family gathers in the spic and span foyer to bid Fiorella, Pedro and Sergio arrivederci as they head off to Maretea, Italy!

Aaaaaaah!  We are swept away to the beautiful sun washed hills of Maratea, Italy, a lovely city on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea.  Fiorella did not exaggerate the beauty of her hometown, there are houses sprinkled like jewels on the verdant hillsides, mountains and the impossibly crystalline, sapphire sea.  The beautiful alabaster white statue, Christ the Redeemer welcomes Fiorella and Pedro with open arms.

My friends, the dialogue is truly inconsequential and I'm not trying to be snarky here.  The real star of this episode is the breath taking beauty of Maratea.  We tour the beautiful city accompanied by vignettes of Pedro and Fiorella; Gianna and Gael; Julieta, Santino and Sergio:

Julieta, Santino and Sergio sample wedding cake and monkey around in a bridal shop.

Gianna nearly drags Gael to see her former Dr. in Maratea!  He took care of her all her life since she was a little baby!  She hugs him and a female associate warmly and updates them on her transplant. They are joined by Pedro and Fiorella.  Hugs and kisses all around.

Pedro and Fiorella visit Christ the Redeemer statue and then pray in a church to San Biagio.  She thanks him for all he has done for her, allowing her to meet the marvelous Pedro, and finding her birth parents, Julieta and Santino.  She asks, not for a futbol team, but just for a bambino and a bambina.

Gael and Gianna sit sea side at a rocky beach.  Gianna is pretty with her hair braided up and back at the temples.  She wears a floral frock and Gael is in shorts.   Gael remembers that Osvaldo loved the sea.  He admits he misses Osvaldo, even though he mistreated him all his life.  Moving on, Gael says that "When we become excellent Drs., we will develop a treatment so nobody ever has to have a transplant.  All your life you've had to worry about your health and now you've got your health and you've got me for your the rest of your life."  Sweet kisses follow.  Aaaahhh.

Fiorella and Pedro go to her old house.  Well, look who's here:  her old landlord, the guy who tried to collect money when she was at her father, Mario's, graveside.  He calls her a thief and refuses her money when she tries to pay him.  Pedro gets in his face and pushes him for talking smack to his lady. . .they start to fight. . . .and then hug!   Hey!  It was all a joke!  Oh, you guys!  Pedro has actually bought her old house for her as a wedding present.  Doh!

There is a beautiful scene of Fiorella, Pedro, Gianna, Gael, Julieta, Santino and Sergio walking through a corridor of old growth trees.  Fiorella tells them her parents would have loved Santino and Julieta.  They walk to the cemetery.  Fiorella leaves a wedding invitation at her father's graveside.

Fiorella and Gianna embrace as they sit on the steps of their old house.  They talk about the upcoming church wedding when the sound of music wafts up over the hillside.  The girls look down and see Santino, Pedro, Gael and Sergio with three musicians.  Santino  (Marco di Mauro) and Pedro serenade them in Italian with Niente di Niente (Nada de Nada).

Fiorella sits in bed while Julieta stands at the balcony of their hotel room seemingly lost in the heart stopping blue skies and sea below her.  Fiorella wistfully recalls her childhood dream of marrying her Principe Azul, her Prince Charming, and now that day is finally here!  Julieta is wearing a form fitting dress in a blue color that rivals the sea.  (Fix it up now, y'all know I don't do wardrobe commentary but blue is my favorite color!)  Julieta comes over and sits on the bed.  Fiorella tells her that what is important that she is with her mother on this special day.  Julieta is touched and cries that Fiorella has called her "mama" for the first time.  They tell one another that each is the most beautiful daughter and the most beautiful mother in the world.  The ringing of the church bells sends them out to the balcony where they erupt into peals of laughter and jumping for joy!  It's Fiorella's wedding day!

Outside the church a large crowd waits with Pedro, Gael, Gianna, Sergio, Santino and Julieta.  They begin a rhythmic clapping and chanting for the bride.  Fiorella arrives in a white convertible Fiat waving at the joyful gathering.  Santino helps her down and she flows into Pedro's arms.  What's this!  Eloisa has arrived in a soft, cream colored pant suit, her hair in an updo and she looks fresh and younger.  The family greets her with surprise and warmth.  The crowd is still clapping rhythmically.  Eloisa walks Pedro down the aisle, then follows the Priest and altar boys, then Santino escorts Fiorella with two girls carrying her train.  Sergio accompanies Julietta, followed by Gael and Gianna.

The ceremony begins to the melodic strains of Ave Maria.  Gianna and Gael bring the bejeweled lasso and place it around Fiorella and Pedro.   Pedro gives Fiorella the coins from an ornate silver filigree box and then places the wedding ring on her finger.  Fiorella is lost in prayers of thanksgiving for her cara larga (long faced) husband, her adoptive parents and Mario Bianchi, who helped her be the woman she is today.  She has to be prompted to answer if she will take Pedro as her husband.  "Claro que si!" she finally answers and Pedro follows suit, hesitating, looking around with a sly smile before answering, "Te amo tanto, Fiorella, por supuesto que si!"  They are pronounced husband and wife and the gathering, and the Patio, is treated to those famous hungry guppy kisses of Pedro's that Fiorella likes so much.  Julieta and Eloisa are really misty-eyed.  Everyone applauds and our theme song plays!

The reception is in the town square.  There is a long table festooned in white.  Fifi and Petey arrive on a red motorcycle.  There is much clapping and jumping up and down.  The bride and groom stand on chairs and form an arbor with their arms that people dance under.  A mariachi bands arrives and plays and Pedro showers everyone with champagne!  A big hulking guy hoists Fiorella on his shoulder and the men throw Pedro clean up in the air!  WHEEE!!

I guess a love scene is too hot for the 7:00 patio so we get a pretty chaste little snippet of Pedro and Fiorella in their suite at night in the tub. . .I am the happiest woman in the world!"  "I love you Fiorella, you are so beautiful, I never get tired of looking at you, kissing you and calling you 'my love.'  Adonde va Nuestro amor. . .

The next morning at the dock there is a long "see you later" as Pedro and Fiorella prepare to go off on their honeymoon.  Sergio, Julieta, Santino, Gael, Gianna, and Eloisa are there.  Fiorella is holding forth in mother hen mode fussing at Gianna to take care of her heart.  Pedro and Fiorella will live in Maratea and surprise! Gael and Gianna are going to do some specialty training (perhaps Pediatric residency or a Fellowship) in Italy but first they have to return to Mexico to finish the semester out.  Julieta and Santino also have a surprise for the newlyweds:  They are going to live in Maratea as well to be close to Pedro and Fiorella!  Santino tells her to enjoy her honeymoon as she enjoys her life, to treasure every moment.  Pedro tells Sergio to take care of Pilar and behave himself.  Hugs and kisses all around.  Uh oh!  Hold the phone.  A gentleman of a certain age walks up.  Eloisa introduces him as Joseph.  He is an old friend and has invited her to go on a Mediterranean cruise on his yacht!  There is laughter and clapping.  Eloisa tells them, "I already told him we were just going to talk!"  HA!  Well, if that ain't a selfie moment!  Fiorella whips out her telescoping selfie stick and takes a picture of the whole crew.  Fiorella and Pedro finally board their love boat and begin to sail away.  Ah, he can't wait, alone at last.  "Oh, but we're not, my love. . .because someone is waiting for us."  She's preggers!  He shouts it to the cuatro vientos and the family back at the dock!  Happy shouts and congratulations from the fam and more kisses from Fifi and Petey.  They relax and sun. . .and kiss.. .on the deck of the yacht.  Fiorella takes a dive in the sea and they kiss some more.

Seven years later Eloisa updates us on the status of the Mighty Angeles Family via a letter she has written to Pedro.  These scenes are shown as the corresponding segment is read by Eloisa.

Eloisa stands on the balcony at El Rancho looking out toward the setting sun.  I spent my whole life with Maximo learning to be obedient and quiet, remaining silent about anything that was painful, working hard to keep up appearances, guarding the position and prestige of the Angeles family.

Freddie in the prison yard on her hands and knees on the rough pavement and then lying on the bare ground.  How could I have known that at the end of my life I would learn so much from so many people.  Ambition and material things are not everything.  Being rich doesn't insure happiness.

Sergio at ACorp stands at a large screen monitor in the board room before a table full of important looking suits.  Pilar enters with some notebooks for Sergio to examine.  And one can be suave and debonair and have life given to you on a silver platter, but still be entirely useless.  Nothing productive or creative will be accomplished without willpower and personal integrity:  be responsible and not a failure as a man.

Gael and Gianna with a passel of cute kids at a pediatric clinic. G/G take a break in examining kiddos to share a kiss.  Awwww.  One important lesson is to not be self centered and learn to work for the good of others.

Sonia and her little tyke sit at the piano.  He seems to be a mischievous little dude, turning the pictures over on the piano and then running off.  Sonia rights the pictures and takes a moment to look and sigh, with a smile, at a picture of her and Osvaldo.  It's also good to emerge from narcissism and stop pretending you're the only one that matters.  You can accomplish great things in life if you can awaken to the precious and special gifts there are in the simplest of moments.

Rey and Adela with Bennie and Roxi's little girl.  Roxi comes home from work wearing her crisp Physician's white coat and Bennie enters the room.  It's their daughter's birthday.  Everyone has to fight for their right to happiness, to enjoy life.  That's what I try to do now without trying to control anybody.  Giving what I have to give without crying about what I don't have.

Little Osvaldo (yah, that's his name) and Roxi and Benni's little ones run to Eloisa who is sitting at the dining room table.  Roxi, Bennie, Sergio, Pilar, Sonia and Fidel enter the room as well and greet Eloisa.  Domingo and Simoneta also sit at the table to share a meal with everyone else.  And since your granddad left me, I've learned another lesson.  Things can always be better.  But the most important lesson is to forgive.  At this point a translucent Maximo appears at the head of the table and gains solidity and flashes Eloisa a toothy grin.  I've learned to forgive myself first, and then everybody else.

Pedro stands by a fence post in a small vineyard at the back of a modest two story farm house.  A little girl is in the background.  Well, enough of the ramblings of an old lady.  I'm anxious to hear news of you and that horrible family you have formed at the side of that silly, ugly little Italian girl.  [Eloisa cackles here.]

"Oh, Eloisa Angeles, why do you always make me cry?" says Pedro who has salt at his temples.  He kisses the letter and then gathers the little girl to go look for her brother and mother.  They find Fiorella in the back yard.  Fiorella has retained her girlish figure after two younguns.  She's teaching five children Spanish.  Pedro approaches with their son [who is screaming bloody murder and reaching for his real mother off camera.  Little Pedro is NOT amused at this fake "I'm your baby" thing.]  Moments later it's only Pedro, Fiorella and little Fiorellina walking in the vineyard.

"I always dreamed of you and me, my love, of us together in this place, loving each other forever." Pedro kisses Fiorellina and she says she loves him, kind of looking in the camera.  Fiorella says, "I have also dreamed of this all my life.  We have two bambinos, a little Fiorella and a little Pedro, just like I always wanted."  They make mutual declarations of love over the head of the embarrassed Fiorellina.  They declare she is the most beautiful little girl in all Italy and when Pedro picks her up, she looks like, "well, this is finally fun!"  The three walk towards the house as our song swells.  They say they're going to look for little Pedro, who's always sleeping, like his dad.

Thank you so much. Lila. Once again, you've done an amazing job. You and Sneaky pulled us through to the end in grand style!

All in all, an anticlimactic, expected ending to the fairy tale. Sometimes while watching telenovelas I get frustrated that the bad guys get away with everything up to the last five minutes of the grand finale. And then we get something like this where for all intents and purposes, the baddies were dealt with quite a while before the ending and although we were treated to the stunning views of Maratea, the whole last hour was pretty boring (to me). I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it and liked how they tied up everone's story with the last time jump, but still. Oh, well, as my mom always tells me, "Ay, quien te entiende?"

One thing I really didn't like was el intrometido de Sergio with Julieta and Santino in all the wedding preparations. For some reason he just rubbed me the wrong way. If I were Julieta, I STILL wouldn't want him within ten miles of me. I can't stand him!! I wanted to go through the screen and flick him away, back to Mexico. I know he's the groom's father and all, but UGHHH! He should have stayed and kept Pilar company.

I also didn't like the joke that Pedro and the landlord played on Fiorella. I didn't think that was funny at all. He (the landlord) was pretty slimy to her right after her father died and that showed the type of person he is, so, No, Dude, you're not funny. Pedro is a mental midget, so it wasn't too far out of character for him to pull a stupid joke like that.

Nick

Lila and Sneaky for President! (share the office, why not)

Rey and Adela still got on my nerves.

But, yup, Gael and Gianna were THE COUPLE of the story, as far as I'm concerned.

Lila, as a committed 'lurker' to this site, but one that has still happily and gratefully followed the road that this telenovela has taken us on with you all (time and location restrictions unfortunately prevent me from taking a more active role...), now that all is said and done, I think it is all the more important that I come out from my proverbial shadows, if only to give credit, praise, and all of my thanks to you for everything you have done for us on this proverbial patio.

For, in the years since I have been frequenting this website, never can I recall a time where a recapper was utterly abandoned (for completely understandable and justifiable reasons in this case, for sure) by her compatriots and been forced to make it 'on her own', if you will. Yet this is what happened with you, Lila!. And, whereas in any other situation, I can't help but think that a person put into a similar situation would say "F**k it! I just can't do it! You're on your own!!"- you didn't do this. You seized the reins and (most assuredly with the help and support of some wonderful friends- I'm looking at you, amongst others, 'Sneaky Two Shoes'!) took control of a situation that ordinarily probably would have seen hopeless! And, in doing so, you have provided information, pleasure and, perhaps most especially- a place of belonging for a multitude of people that I don't believe you really grasp, but that I wish that you could... if only so that it might help you to fully appreciate these thanks that I give you, and that I give to you whilst speaking- confidently- for countless others.
I wouldn't want for the world to be put into a situation that you were put into. But, while others were moving on to greener pastures or tending to their proverbial wounds, you took control and single-handedly did something that brought nothing but pleasure for countless strangers like me.
For that... you deserve nothing but the highest and most special of praise.
THANK YOU, LILA!! For making this wonderful little patio possible, especially having been done at a time when it very easily could have closed, and left us all out on the proverbial street.
I look forward to meeting you again here, on this most wonderful website, and, as I bid to take leave of this particular patio, I bid you and everybody here, my best and most fondest of wishes, and hopes for the future.

Thank you, Lila. You rock!

My comment should have actually been on Urban's weekend discussion:

What was up with Pedro's painted-on jeans that were rolled up into girly pedal pushers as they left on the boat for their honeymoon? How about wearing some nice, cool-looking shorts? And Fiorella's filmy, side-mullet dress? Que feo!

And at the end, while walking through the fields, did she really have to be in that skintight dress? Come on, now!

Lila...where to begin. Yes, there was a Finale last night, but it also meant that you finally can take your bow to the rousing chorus of applause from the patio. A certificate, edged in gold, to "Lila: Recapper Extraordinaire for going above and beyond the call of duty." With the fantastic Sneaky, you both have made this a labor of love for us and if anything kept me going through this TN along with Gia and Gael, it was looking forward each day to the recaps you both offered. Take a nice relaxing evening of no recapping with a tall glass of something refreshing and savor our appreciation.

As for the Finale...all kinds of "Meh" for me. Maybe it was just exhaustion at the plots and frenzy, but last night seemed to sum up all that was frustrating about this show with only a few snippets of making me smile.

First, the setting was gorgeous and sure helped ignore some of the whatever moments. And of course, my smiles would mainly be because of my favorite twosome. I never hid my love for Gia and Gael, but last night just sealed it for me that I wish this had been their story. These two went through so much, remained strong and their love was more simple and deep then all the theatrics I feel watching our main twosome. They were just lovely in every scene they had.

That "love" scene in the bath tub? Ok then.

As for the requisite wedding, it was a-typical Fifi. TO me, and this is me, it was just too much screeching and yelling and for a couple who had been married for awhile, was more just fulfilling a "girl's fantasy" to have the perfect wedding with all the frills. And something made me think....you know her sister had a simple, hurried hospital wedding while on death's door. How nice would it have been to share this day with her and have her get a church wedding too? Guess it was Fi's fairy tale and everyone was just along for the ride.

Eloisa's letter ending...sorry. Some of that was just weird. Sergio running ACorp, with Santino's money we should add, was just stupid. Man doesn't work a decent day in his life and suddenly he's CEO material. Right. Poor Pilar, she really got the fuzzy end of the lollipop with this family.Rox looked great, but felt a tad let down there. Sonia not with anyone was sad, pining over that jerk she was married to, even worse. (Was it a bit of a hoot that her little guy was a tad out of hand...that's what you get for naming him Asshat, er Osvaldo). Thankfully wasn't trying to figure out what she was babbling on about and just watched the montage.

But showing Max at the table. Something almost was thrown at my TV then I thought, screw it, show's over. He had no right to sit there smiling...at all. Writers needed to go out to the woodshed for even showing his sorry face.

As for wrapping up the Freddie story--totally dropped the ball. So Gabe was Max's brother, the young woman was taken in by an Dante and aided and abetted in her unhappiness and revenge plot and between he and Eloisa, fed an atmosphere of mistrust, abuse and love of all things material and money. She was a product of all that. Something about being in that jail yard felt off...can't put my finger on it. Guess they wanted to show her penniless, alone and taking her penance. And what about Gabe as the crook after all? They led us to think that, and then nothing. So many dropped story lines as we wrapped and that was a HUGE one. Typical bad writing.

So we're done. It has been a pleasure. Seems the more frustration with the show, the more fun we have. Enjoyed our patio time together. If I don't see folks on El Hotel, I'm sure we'll meet up again soon.

Buongiorno e Mille Grazie a tutti!!! I see you my friends! Have to get ready for work! I hope to see you soon!

I will try to get a picture of the bride and groom. Blogger was being funky this morning!

See you later!

Grazie tanto, Lila. Also to Sneaky Two Shoes, Kat, and everyone else who endured recapping this series with all its bad edits and the craziness.

Daisy, I agree with your post. I have my own notes in my usual way as well:

MIVAC Closing Remarks

The Good

Cast: Most performances were excellent. Livia Brito and Ela Velden prepared very well to become Italian for this series. Good chemistry between Brito and Ron, Velden and Minor, good matching of relatives. Minor characters mostly good and interesting.
Music: Good soundtrack music, with great tracks reminiscent of 1960s Italian films.
Sets: Also excellent, especially the design of Vittorio's restaurant interior and his Keebler Elves Crack House.
Location Shooting: The best. I want to go to Italy now!

The Bad
Character Development: Some of this suffered badly due to extension and the current trend to constant plot twists in order to keep the viewers tuning in. That's a bad combination and makes for inconsistent quality of writing. Sergio was the writers' biggest victim of all the characters with Fiorella, Julieta, Osvaldo, and Sonia also being victimized. Also, the illusions and flashbacks of Maximo had inconsistencies in character.
Dropped Storylines: What finally happened to Aitana? No Karmageddon as far as I can tell. Her family losing the money from the stock scam was inadequate. Was there really any mystery about Gabriel's birth or was that a dialogue error?
Splitting the Original Finale: I think that two-hour finales should be shown that way. The wedding was pretty, but still feels like an anti-climax.

The Ugly
Wardrobe/Grooming: Eloisa's jewelry, some of the male haircuts, Aitana's hair, Sergio's hair dye (and the eyebrows that didn't match the hair), Adele's hair (until the last dozen episodes), Fiorella's braids and early uniforms, Sergio's frat boy clothes that are unsuitable for anything serious, ramerawear...
Screeching: Multiple characters and overkill.
Psychiatric Fantasy: Alina was a nightmare! Her early caving to Assvaldo's demands regarding her sessions with Gael should have had her hauled in front of a disciplinary committee and gotten her license yanked. I really hate that medical fantasy is now adding this.

Addendum to The Good: Tech-savvy seniors. The idea that people over 70 can't deal with computers or the internet is beyond ridiculous.

The WTF List

How could Fiorella – knowing that Vittorio was “an old friend of my father's” – not realize that he had to be around her father's age? Of course, if Fiorella had had this thought at the outset we wouldn't have had a story.

How could Federica be such a nasty snob while boinking the security chief? What is the real truth of her treatment in this family? Why didn't they send her to a shrink ages before the curtain came up?

No jail time for Federica for shanghai-ing Eloisa or for Assvaldo for kidnapping and almost killing Fiorella? Was that due to the series being extended for whatever reason?

Why are Pedro and Fiorella living on a small farm? What are they living on?

I savored every happy moment of the finale last night, basking in the love and joy of Petro and Fiorella and Gael and Gianna.

It was truly love, grand and glorious. The promise of love met and reveled in.

You have given us so much joy Lila. Your words were mesmerizing, thoughtful and your always upbeat, hopeful tone was happily infectious.

The simply spectacular scenery was brought vividly to life by “there are houses sprinkled like jewels on the verdant hillsides, mountains and the impossibly crystalline, sapphire sea”. How beautifully phrased Lila.

Thank you to Sara and Kat who carried the recaps early on so wonderfully. Your presence was appreciated and both of you are sorely missed. To Eli and Sneaky Two Shoes for filling in so admirably.

Thank you to all my fellow commenters for making this journey such a special one. So many interesting perspectives and all so well stated.

Lila, wishing you all the very best. A heartfelt thank you for everything you've done. I hope to be reading more of your marvelous recaps in the very near future.

Diana

Lila- There isn't enough praise that would adequately thank you for taking on such a Herculean task just for our benefit, so I will just say a simple thank you.

This recap perfectly put into focus the star of this finale-- Maratea, Italy. And it was indeed breathtakingly beautiful. I enjoyed this hour of sightseeing and looking at pretty people. I didn't take it more seriously than that. Happy to see G&G and F&P so happy.

G&G already had a Church wedding in the hospital chapel, so they didn't need another Church wedding. And yes, Fi IS the star and we knew from episode one, and the credits that rolled each day, that she'd have a big fairytale wedding in Italy. That was probably the only thing we knew would be a guarantee. The folks in the town look like they had a blast participating as extras in a Mexican telenovela. Good for them.

I'm supposing Pedro and Fi are living the simple life off all the money she's inherited from her father, an he from the Angeles. Not a bad life.

Wow, Lila, your way of dealing with this made it much more interesting than the actual episode! Thanks so much for your way of looking at things, and the skill with which you mold your recaps. I sincerely hope that you are able to share your talents with us again real soon!!!

For me, the Pedro takedown of Freddie was incomplete. I did not see how he got close enough to her to be able to do it. All that wrestling around made me think that Pedro, for all his well muscled physique, is actually as weak physically as he is in so many other areas. Jeez, with everything soaked in gasoline and Freddie holding a Zippo, why didn't he just cold cock her?

I guess they don't have OSHA laws in Italy. I can't imagine anyone driving around town sitting on the top of that convertible car the way Fifi did arriving at her wedding.

Lovely wedding, but I think if I were Pedro, I would have learned to drive the boat, and left the boat driver on the pier so I could be totally alone with Fifi.

Gael and Giana were a class act through this whole thing, and I agree with Daisy that they could very well have been the main interest in this story.

Max's eery presence at the family gathering was off, and not appreciated by me. Eloisa's smile had me wondering what she was thinking. Was that scene supposed to convey some love she still felt for him, or that despite all his shenanigans they still produced a wonderful family?

Eloisa's tongue-in-cheek letter to Pedro was rather touching to me. For her to call Fifi an ugly Italian, when we all know how dearly she holds her in her heart, was rather touching.

Although I know this was an effort to show how things evened out and became good for all the faithful people in the cast line-up, It just didn't do much for me, but your retelling of it was wonderful, Lila. Thank you so much for your work and dedication!

David

I also loved the location shooting and the sights of Italy. Don't know if it was left out but during the reception there was a shot of a little girl swiping the cake topper (She's the next Fiorella?) and a little boy in a white fedora stealing hors d'oeuvres off the table. It almost reminded me a little of Connie's wedding in The Godfather, which I'm guessing is one of Vittorio's favorite movies.

This makes the name of his restaurants more than a little symbolic.

Lila - Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You took a sinking ship and kept it afloat, doing THREE (OMG, 3!) recaps a week, and every recap was snarky, sassy, and wonderful. There aren’t enough words to express my gratitude and admiration. Even tonight's recap is better than the actual episode. You are an angel and YOU ROCK!!!

My heartfelt thanks go to Sneaky2shoes for jumping in, near the end, and helping out. Mille grazie, sneaky!!! You also rock!!

Urban - ”Why are Pedro and Fiorella living on a small farm? What are they living on?” WTF, indeed. I thought the same exact thing last night. Answer --- Pedro screwed up ACorp as a terrible CEO and now they’re both living off Santino’s money.

All the comments before mine have expressed my thoughts, so I’ll keep it brief. The ending was okay/nice and in keeping with the tone of the entire telenovela. I was able to FFWD---> thru much of it.

I really liked the G/G scenes and am happy they were given a fair amount of screen time. :-)

When did Petey-boy start wearing a diamond stud earring??? Hmmm...

Once back in Italy, Fi resorted to wearing her flowered dresses again. Meh...

I hated Gi’s haircut at the end with the bangs. Please, no.

Looks like Roxi is also well on her way to becoming a doctor (you go, girl, I was always at your table on The Patio!)

Gael’s fresh haircut was verra Mohawk-ish. Oy.

Maximo at the dinner table, smiling, was completely inappropriate and grossed me out.

The recappers here at Caray! are the heart and soul of this site. I cannot even begin to imagine the amount of time it takes to watch, sort out, and write the wonderful recaps you give us, all on a volunteer basis! This is a ve5y time-consuming labor of love with no financial compensation. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you Lila for a wonderful recap! :)

1.) I enjoyed the wedding & happy ending for Pedro & Fio with the little kids :)

2.) Gael & Gianna were the big couple of this story!

3.) Little Pedro crying for his real mother LOL!

4.) I was wondering the same thing about Eloisa's smile too & what she was thinking!

5.) They should've had a full 2-hour Gran Final instead of splitting it up!

6.) No anvil for Osvaldo ? What the bleep ?

Thanks Lila for the excellent recap.

I thought last night's episode was anti-climatic after the first 5 minutes of action. It seemed like a promotional travel video for Italy.

I would have liked more details on Federica's fate. Throughout the show, she kept on escaping from all her (failed) attempts at revenge, and suffered no consequences from her evil deeds.

I thought for sure that she might even escape from prison and pop up at the wedding in Italy!

I'm trying to remember where Santino said he was from, but I can't.

Two more things: The finale must have been shot out of sequence because of Gael's hair (man, do I hate that look). I also think Ela Velden may have had a boob job just before it.

During the ceremony I expected Aitana to show up. When I was googling for photos of her for the Crimes of Fashion one of the suggested results was "Aitana muere" so there are possibly false spoilers being planted in search engines.

Mille grazie, Nick! Thank you so much! I really like your thumbs ups and downs: Sergios mixed up with the wedding prep and the "joke."

But, yup, Gael and Gianna were THE COUPLE of the story, as far as I'm concerned.

Nick! I approve your comment! :D

DeborahB You have made my cry! OMG! Mille, mille grazie and bless you! Thank you for attending our grand finale and thank you for all the weeks of dedication. I'm sure I must have felt your positive vibrations, even if you didn't comment. It is for you, and other friends like you as well as the regular commenters that I felt I had to carry on. God bless you!

Grazie, Anon at 4:53 a.m.! See, I knew I'd get some fashion commentary! Thank you! I don't know. Looks like the cast was chillin' in Italy and remembered, "hey, we still got some scenes for the grand finale to do!" Go figure!

Thanks, Anon!

Grazie tantissimo! Thank you sooo much, Daisynjay!

As for the Finale, indeed. Yah. Pretty "Meh" as Nick noted. I tried not to let that come through in the recap as opinions may vary. I did enjoy that there was happiness and Aitana didn't come swinging from the ceiling of the church with a dagger between her teeth.

I never hid my love for Gia and Gael, but last night just sealed it for me that I wish this had been their story. These two went through so much, remained strong and their love was more simple and deep. . .

Ah, this:

....you know her sister had a simple, hurried hospital wedding while on death's door. How nice would it have been to share this day with her and have her get a church wedding too?

ITA that showing Max at the table was all kinds of wrong! And Freddie is no saint of my devotion and yes, she killed Dante but she is what Max and Eloisa made her. I'm sure Max knew Dante, his hit man and killer of her father, had established an amorous relationship with her before she died. He allowed that and he and Eloisa knew her revenge plot was based on TRUTH yet she gets to lay in the prison yard and Max sits at the table with the family wearing a shit-eating grin.

Yah. That sucked hard!

Mille grazie, Urbanita!

Love your Good, Bad and Ugly! ITA with what you said about splitting the finale. It did feel flat.

I'll add dropped balls and Alina's shameful behavior to my list with Max and Freddie's treatment.

Oh, Urban! Wait, there's more!

Why are Pedro and Fiorella living on a small farm? What are they living on?

That WAS weird. Guess they're living on luuuv!

Ah, Diana! Mille grazie! I'm gonna miss you, kid! Thank you sooo much! I'm glad that my feeling the finale was a little flat didn't show in my recap. I agree with Urban that a two-hour finale should be shown that way: the high drama of Gianna's deterioration, Osvaldo and Gael's accident, Osvaldo's death, Gianna's live-saving surgery and Freddie's last stand would have made us more ready for the lavish scenery of Maretea and the dialogue which was really just a series of declarations of love and sweet nothings.

Oh, well.

You are so welcome, my friend, and I hope to see you on other Patios on another day! Ciao!

Vivi! Mille, mille grazie sorellina mia! Thank you so much Vivi!

Ahhh, yes, I used to always want to go to Italy and what I saw last night was just like my fantasie. Absolutely beautiful! You know, I was checking out the townspeople as well. One of the altar boys was kind of snickering and somebody must have given him the sign of the index finger across the throat! Hee hee! Yah, they had a good time!

Thank you Vivi and hope to see you if not in further comments, then on another Patio soon!

David! Grazie tantissimo and you are so welcome! Thank you for being a member of this Patio, for your always thoughtful comments and being one of the prime holders of the writers feet to the fire. Like this:

For me, the Pedro takedown of Freddie was incomplete. I did not see how he got close enough to her to be able to do it. All that wrestling around made me think that Pedro, for all his well muscled physique, is actually as weak physically as he is in so many other areas. Jeez, with everything soaked in gasoline and Freddie holding a Zippo, why didn't he just cold cock her?

Yah, on 123 you recommended a headshot. Absolutely, something fast and definitive to neurtralize her. And you're right. When she whipped out the Zippo he was just waking up and rubbing the crust out of his eyes! The whole place should've gone up in a hellish conflagration!

ITA about this being Gael and Gianna's story! They were SO lovely and noble.

Max's eery presence at the family gathering was off, and not appreciated by me.

Me, either! Murder, fraud, theft, torture, imprisonment and child abuse (of Freddie as a minor - having her father killed and allowing her to become involved with her father's killer), mental abuse of his own children, grandchildren. . .hell, his whole family. We should have been given a glimpse of him tumbling in the fiery furnace.

Ack! Don't get me started!

It's been my pleasure, David!

Urban, thank you for mentioning this! I forgot to put it in. It was a nice touch:

Don't know if it was left out but during the reception there was a shot of a little girl swiping the cake topper (She's the next Fiorella?)

Doris! Mille grazie! Thank YOU for being a fun and witty cornerstone of this Patio. It's so good after you get to bed late and you get to see what others thought of the show and it's wonderful to know you saved someone from participating in dreck or helped someone keep up who missed the episode and then there's the fun back and forth that you're always apart of!

Love your observations and you KNOW I'm ITA about Max! YUCK!

Grazie, amica!

Grazie, Steve!

Hey, Gobluefan from OH! I remember you from other Patios! How ya doin'? Mille grazie!

Goblue, I know it's not popular and I know I'm repeating myself but I think Freddie got the shaft. Not that she shouldn't be in jail for murdering Dante and she did chloroform, kidnap and rob Eloisa but Eloisa knew Dante killed Gabriel and no punishment for that? Look at all Max did and he got "helped" out of his misery with a pillow and then gets to haunt the family dinner table with 64-tooth dentures! Whatever!

I also thought that there would be shenanigans at the wedding. I think that feeling came from how they split the finale.

Oh well. Thanks, Goblue!

Urban at 9:43: As Goblue expected Freddie to show up, Aitana's evil vibe WAS indeed in the air for the wedding. Thank goodness they didn't go there. Guess the actress was busy shooting scenes from the novela that follows this one!

Well. I guess I'd better do some work stuff. See y'all later. Please talk amongst yourselves! It will be a nice afterwork treat and *sniff* the last afterwork treat from the MIVAC Patio!

Any of you up for continuing with Un Camino & the beautiful violin player starting up in your slot tonight? Contact me at caray@mappamundi.com - any of you planning on WATCHING it?

Jane - I have no plans to watch UCHED, primarily because of LaToodle.

Throwing my two cents in and then going back to finish reading comments...Gianna at the lake - OMG! she was so pretty! That tub scene (hot!) even though it wasn't much, I imagined so much. I was left filled and empty at the same time. It was a little lackluster for me...seemed chopped because I was like in those certain spaces of "when did Pedro get downstairs?, who called the cops?, when did they show up?" blah blah blah...I would have liked for them to have done more, but I'm glad we were treated to 7 years later...they could have shortened that reception. Anyway, thanks for helping me relive this...It sounds better reading it than it was watching it. And that little boy crying for his mama LOL!

So not sure if someone mentioned, but I saw that there had been alternative endings for this show. (No surprise there, so last night did look them up after reading that.)

One has Eloisa dying after reflecting through a walk on the estate with the rest pretty much the same and the other has this whole thing turn out to be Fifi's dream after she runs over Petey in the square with her bicycle. Would most likely have to watch the whole endings to see if there were other changes, but honestly, this was no Teresa that makes me want to delve any deeper.

Not sure any of those are better than what we got, though having Eloisa pass after being reflective, maybe learning she was partly at fault and then letting go, would have worked for me. Better than creepy Max.

Daisynjay

Fiorella did not exaggerate the beauty of her hometown, there are houses sprinkled like jewels on the verdant hillsides, mountains and the impossibly crystalline, sapphire sea. The beautiful alabaster white statue, Christ the Redeemer welcomes Fiorella and Pedro with open arms.

You write so beautifully Lila--as the above quote clearly shows. And you can also dish out the sass and snark. But did you ever think that you would be churning out 3 to 4 recaps a week? As Deborah said, almost anybody, after being deserted by other members of the team, would have said," Fine! I'm out of here too!" But you gave all you had and more, in addition to managing a family and a full-time job. There are simply no words adequate, m'dear, to thank you enough for how you held the patio together. And of course that includes you too Sneaky Two Shoes. Absolutely love your internet sobriquet.

Haven't watched this yet, but do want to see the Maratea scenes, now that I've read your lovely description.

The upcoming 7 pm show does not sound interesting but I guess I can always record Hotel de los Secretos and watch that show during the 7 pm hour as a fall back position. People keep telling me it's interesting, including my Colombian friend who lives right here in town.

Lila, if I had your address I'd send you a big bouquet of flowers and an equally big box of chocolates (dark or milk chocolate?), but since I don't, just accept that I think you're the best and I love you to pieces. You are my hero.

Jane, I do not believe I will be watching the next 7:00 offering (although I'll likely be sorry).

During that hour, I am going to try and catch up on work from my full time job and housework which will hopefully free me up a bit so I can see more of Lichita and PyP which I'm also trying to follow.

Diana

We can't thank you enough Lila gurrrl. God was with you on this one.

There's one more alternate ending where Fi rolls right past Pedro on her bike and he just stays looking at her like, "Okay..." (they pretty much never met on that fateful day in this ending.)

As for how Pedro manhandled Freaky Fred and got downstairs so quick, I'd like to think he slid down the stair-handle-term and leapt into action.

-Encaje Rojo

LILA, one last thank you hardly seems like enough. What can I say? You and SNEAKY Two Shoes were always the firemen down there with a net when our patio caught fire due to poor writing, lousy editing, beanie failure and other mishaps. Your snark was witty and stylish, never mean. Sigh. So sad to say goodbye to the 7:00 PM patio, and hope to catch up with you-all on another show.

So, Patio Peeps--we have walked it together. Love you all! And I agree with ALL the comments above.

Just a few last rants and raves:
--Agree; why was Sergio prancing around Julieta and Sergio like a third member of their little group?
--Agree, DaisynJay; wedding was way too screechy and boisterous for a couple that's already been married awhile. IMHO>
--Federica got a letter while in jail (before breaking out) from her attorneys saying she would only get half, not all, of the Angeles fortune. Que? I still think they should have brought out that Gabriel was not a legit heir.
--Max the Dead Guy is redeemed by the writers, saves Pedro from suicidio, and smiles/leers at Eloisa from beyond the grave? Creepy!
--Eloisa gets a last minute finale hook-up with rich yacht guy? C'mon!
--And Papi Chulo gets nothing? Is that really fair?

Well, my beanie's still stuck in the ceiling fan blades, revolving slowly overhead...maybe I won't need it for the next TN...

Anyhoo LILA m'dear, a big hug to you and your madcap co-recapper SNEAKY Two Shoes.
And one last time:
JEEZO-PETE!

J in Oregon

Hi my dear friends. I was reading your comments and let me tell you that I will miss you all. I have enjoyed so much being part of this patio and commenting.

As to the novela ending, I think they chopped some scenes. I'm sure that Pietrella's hot scene in the tub was a bit more long and also her prayer to St. Biagio.
Thank you to everybody. I'm gonna check the episode online and inform you later of the missing scenes if you want.

Whew! Finally back. Let's see what Patio Peeps have been talking about!

Hey, Kendra! Grazie! ITA that the love scene took some imagination. That's not a bad thing: that way, you can make it your own. And yes, we were NOT free from the vegematic! Thank you for coming to hang with us, Kendra!

Daisy@12:44. You know, Daisy. I searched for Muchacha stuff and I must be expecting something different. All I see are clips between 1 and 10 minutes long! What am I doing wrong?

JudyB! Oh, Judy! Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm gonna miss you so much! You know what? I feel like I got a big, beautiful bocquet of flowers AND chocolates with these warm and heartfelt sentiments you express here! Thank you, honey!

JudyB, maybe I'll have to binge watch and catch up with Hotel--let's see, 20 shows. I could probably handle it! Might as well get my money's worth out of hulu!

Maybe I'll see you over there!

Encaje Rojo! Hey! Mille, mille grazie! Yes, praise The Lord!

If anybody has a link for these alternate endings (which are beginning to feel like urban legend to me) please post it! I'd like to see it!

There she is! J in Oregon! J, you were so often my first commenter and thus a real encouragement, pat on the back and inspiration to get the recaps up before midnight. Yah! J, my West Side! sorellina in the house!

J, I am sooo ITA with your rants!

--Agree; why was Sergio prancing around Julieta and Sergio like a third member of their little group?

--I still think they should have brought out that Gabriel was not a legit heir.

--Max the Dead Guy is redeemed by the writers, saves Pedro from suicidio, and smiles/leers at Eloisa from beyond the grave? Creepy!

Them writers were smoking them funny cigarettes, hunh?

JEEZO-PETE, indeed!

Grazie tantississimo!! Love ya, J!

Hey, Where's Nina!

Nina, girl! Report to the Patio! I miss you!

:D

Hey, Marla! See you around!

Missed scenes of the ending:

*Little chat of Julieta and Sergio. Now they are friends but Julieta tells him that she still can't forgive him. Sergio talks about Acorp going up and him being in charge and happy with Pilar. Santino comes to join them in the chat. They end up deciding to go and see the wedding cake.
*Scene of Fiorella watching a novela in the laptop with Pietro. She gets sad because she wants to have children and she is having problems getting pregnant. Pietro tries to animate her offering to adopt a child and saying that they have been stressed. They decide to go and do the homework, oh yeah.
* Scene of Pietrella, GG, Julieta, Sergio, and Santino eating when all Maratea comes to receive Fiorella.
* Scene of Pietrella talking about all Maratea receiving her. Pietro plays a joke making Fiorella believe that she was not the only italian girl who hit him with the bicycle. She gets a little jealous and wets him with a water bottle.

What can I say that has not been already said, but a most heartfelt and grateful THANK YOU Lila and thank you to all the great recappers.
Muchas Gracias.

Emeraldrose You are so welcome! Mille grazie, Emeraldrose!

Another missed scenes:

* I don't know if I miss a part or did they cut to Fiorella's prayer to St. Biagio. I'm not sure if they pass or not a piece where Fiorella tells St.Biagio that Gianna has a new heart and it's from Sr. Osvaldo, who surely now is in heaven. Pietro feels a little bit sad and tells Fiorella that she is going to tire St.Biagio.
* Like I said before, the shower scene of Pietrella was chopped
* Scene of everybody coming out of the church. Looks like they are having a ceremony for St. Biagio., there is a lot of people outside the church and they are carrying the saint statue while trumpets are played.
* Scene of Pietro with Sergio and Santino talking about having bought a villa for Fiorella and wanting to stay a time in Maratea with her.

Girl Friend. From the bottom of my heart thank you for being yourself. I started this show reading from an airport and that's how I finish it. The show I can miss, your wordsmithing I cannot. Promise me you'll be here again for I cannot tolerate the separation anxiety. Your first and greatest fan in the whole wide world. tofie

I can't let the sun set tonight without sending one more "muchísimos gracias" your way, Lila.
I don't know what your job is, but if it doesn't involve journalism then some periodical is missing out on a rare gem. Your ability to observe an hour's worth of happenings and report it back in beautiful, grammatically perfect, lyrical prose should bring in the big bucks somewhere. Especially true when you consider the time frame of your reporting - sometimes mere hours after the show. You are a wonder, and I'm so glad you chose to waste your time here with us! Thank you, thank you!
Ann C

Anyone know what the wrap date is for Antes Muerte Que Lichita?
J in O

PS Marla thank you so much for wading through all the episodes to fill us in on all the cut out material!

Tofita!!! YAAAAAY! My girl! My "I calls 'em like I sees 'em/Take no Prisoners" Tofita! Girl, I appreciate YOU being YOU! Tofie be like, "Naw, if it looks like a pile of sh*t and smells like a pile of sh*t, call it a pile of SH*T!" I have so enjoyed you, Tofie! You have had me rolling with laughter many a time and I will never forget how you nailed Pedro and I'll be John Brown if he didn't turn out to be just like you pegged him!

Traveling Mercies, my friend, where ever you are going! I will see you around on one Patio or another!

Love you all to little bittie pieces!

Mille, mille grazie, Ann C! Awww, thank you, hon! My head's probably big enough, Ann! You are two kind! It was six months of good times. Sometimes I felt like I fussed too much but we had a nice balance of opinions on our coo coo residents of Dos Rios. Thanks for hanging with us, Ann!

oops! *. . .too kind!

Lila...it's easy to binge watch el Hotel de los Secretos. Every episode that ends seems to pull you into the next. I think I'm at episode 11 now. Halfway home! I'll look for you on the line once I get caught up.

Lila you know how to make the heart joyous.
Even when I was spittin nails mad, and wanted To quit watchin you had a way of pullin me back in. You're golden girl.
This was probably the easiest recap you've
Done in awhile, this episode.

Their security was a bit laxing. What ever happened to all those guards & k9 that We'd see walkin around? on vacation. Some
People would have fired our friendly family
Head of security. Pedro excuses him. I guess
They were to happy about the upcoming nuptials.

That was a beautiful blue dress julieta was wearing As is she.
That is a beautiful place, I never heard of it before this tn. Maybe one day I'll go with my
Husband.
Everyone was having a happily wonderfull time. I was half lookin for aitana to come out
Swingin a machete to slice and dice pedro for Dumpin her for the maid. But no, shes moved on.

That dress thingy that fifi was wearing was
Pretty but it was 1/2 there. I couldn't tell where the other 1/2 was. Anybody know? This was when they were about to go on the
Third honeymoon.

Cougar granny, they're just going to "talk" on
His yacht while sailin around the beautifull
Mediterranean. Who believe that? That guy
Looks to be maybe...10....15 years younger.
And they're going to "TALK"!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!
Petey said behave granny. Hahhahheehee!!
Cute.

Thank you lila for a good time. I hope theres
More to come with other tns.

I forgot. The lifes lessons granny learned are
Priceless. The lady got wisdom. It took pain
To get, sometimes it take that, but she got it.
Pedro was proud of her, so was I. Maybe max learned something to, never know what
Goes on on the death bed. Anyways, thanks
Again lila.

Hey, thanks, JudyB. Sounds like a plan!

Nina! Hey, girl! I knew you weren't going to miss the finale! Mille grazie for your always enthusiastic appreciation!

Yah, lax, or more like, absent security! DOH! And Granny gets herself a beau at the end. She really cleaned up, didn't she? Even got her old man to hang out at the dinner table and flirt with her and it don't cost nothing because he dosen't eat!

Thank you, Nina, for hanging out with us during this six-month ride! We made it!

***We survived Muhchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse!***

Sorry to be so late.
Thank you, Lila, thank you, thank you!
...and Sneaky.
You both went waaaaay above and beyond and so many of us appreciate you both more than you know.

Never too late for a kind word from the heart! Thank you so much, Emilia! I am so glad you joined us and hope to see you around the blog!

Mille mille mille grazie right back Lila

Ungh This finale has cemented my theory that this show was written by 9 yr olds, that wedding was ridiculous, and bringing back that landlord? what was the point of that? and Ghost!Max at the table? NO! Just No.

Thanks Lila, you made it all bearable to read, if not watch:P
Plus w/o you I'd have thought all those kids learning Spanish were Pietrella's

Fav part of the recap and the epi " Little Pedro is NOT amused at this fake "I'm your baby" thing." what's that saying about not working with kids or animals?

oh well at least they didn't kill anyone else off.

Sneakyyyyyyyy! Grazie tantissimo sorellina mia! Sneaky, I cannot thank you enough for your wonderful, witty, snappy recaps!

Yah, why was the landlord there? Weird! I am so glad they didn't kill Fidel. It sure like he was going up in flames!

We did it, girl! Thank you from the whole of my heart and I hope to see you around the blog on other Patios!

Your amica forever,

Lila, the Mystic Marmoset!

girl I would have gotten to you earlier but something went wrong I was trying to send my comment earlier and then I had to deal with this little prove you're not a robot thing I don't know what the hell that is anyway I could not send it so,I had to do it later on in the evening, and it finally got here. Thank you thank you thank you, you are a sweetheart I do hope we have more time together on other TN because you are a lot of fun girl yes you are. Yes we did survive muchacho,on to the next one.

reading comments

Daisynjay - can I just ditto your entire comment? ok, then just this part "Eloisa's letter ending...sorry. Some of that was just weird. Sergio running ACorp, with Santino's money we should add, was just stupid. Man doesn't work a decent day in his life and suddenly he's CEO material. Right. Poor Pilar, she really got the fuzzy end of the lollipop with this family"

Nina - that's right this was their third honeymoon, some people get all the luck, huh

Urban - I agree, the scenery, esp. in Italy was one of the best parts of the show and "Why are Pedro and Fiorella living on a small farm? What are they living on?" I wondered too, so he just goes from being a CEO to what? organic farming?

David - "I think if I were Pedro, I would have learned to drive the boat, and left the boat driver on the pier so I could be totally alone with Fifi."
I noticed that too, there was all the talk of we're all alone now and then there's the boat pilot right there

doris - Gi's bad wig at the end was just over the top, b/c you can't get older and keep the same hairstyle apparently.

Dudes I think Fed got the short end of the stick story wise too, I really hoped she'd end up being redeemed or something, oh well:(

Oh yeah, Marla - you deserve a shout out and a thank you for filling us all in on the cut scenes, it was like you were doing the recaps with us too, maybe I'll see you recapping on something sometime.

Thanks all commenters and I hope to see y'all again soon (but not on the next early tn, cause I won't be there, I'm going to Quien es Quienland )

O girl that's right all those kids, that means she would have had to been pregnant every year for 7 years to have that many kids. Oh my gosh I'm glad that she only had the 2 and that little boy was not a happy camper.
Thank You Too Two gifted writers lady Lila and lady sneakyil 2 shoes♡♥♡♥♡♥

Oh thank you sneaky shoes, maybe I will consider your idea. And it was a pleasure to put my little grain and help you all better understand those vegematic episodes.

By the way, to those who love ela velden I have more news. She is auditioning to be villana in Pedro Damian's new novela called pobre Pablo. Can you Imagine sweet Gianna as a mean girl? Oh I also didn't like that orange wig, doesn't match with her tender face.

Also livia brito and mike biagio are auditioning for that same novela pobre Pablo. Livia as the female lead and mike for another villano. Looks like peter Damian wants to repeat his awesome cast of muchacha italiana. But now livia and mike are doing a series of singer Joan Sebastian where livia plays Maribel Guardia and mike plays Joan's brother Federico.

Thank you so much Lila,Sneaky, and everyone who helped recap this novella.

It was an happy ending for sure, and the drama wasn't too angst filled. Freddy definitely got what she deserved. Gael and Gianna are so cute together,i'm happy they survived.
The scenery was so pretty, and your descriptions Lila was amazing. There was definitely a bunch of kids in the end. I'm especially happy for Santino and Julieta. Thanks again also to the other folks who chipped in this novella discussion.

Elorej

Mille grazie and thank you so very much for joining uo, Elorej! The finale WAS very much happy, happy, joy, joy!! Hope to see you around!

Thank you so very much sneaky and the crew.

the novella just started airing in our country kenya just the other day but thanks to you av read the entire novella like a novel and it has left me in tears.

cheers!!! for the good work

HA! So Muchacha has made it to Kenya! Cheers, indeed! Thank you, Nancy!

Lila...can you record shows to watch later. Yago is really great so far (granted, just the FIRST episode...but it's going to be fast-paced and good, looks like.

Hey, Judy! How ya doin', girl! Yago, hunh? I've been so out of the novela loop. I'll have to come over and check out the synopsis and first recaps.

Thanks, hon! Gosh! I miss youze guys!

Muchacha has made it into Slovenia... Maratea is beautiful but after all the drama at the hospital, meh.

I thought for sure Gael gave his heart for Gianna when he wasn't at Gianna's side when she woke up. Felt bad for Sonia who has to raise their child alone.

Would have liked to see Pilar at the wedding. Come on, Sergio (heh, really ? the man never worked a day and he's CEO now ?) and granny Eloisa but not the groom's mother ? Also, really ? Pedrella lives in Italy, halfway around the world even when Eloisa specifically said she wishes everyone'd stay at the ranch ?

As for Why are Pedro and Fiorella living on a small farm? What are they living on?
They inherited the money from Eloisa's will. Also you might recall it was said Santino comes from a rich family and they said in the show Fiorella is now the richest Angeles.

Slovenia! Muchacha really gets around! Thank you, Anon!
