La Doña has replaced Sin Senos in the 9pm slot.

General

Also, the latest rumors I've heard are that Silvana will have 116 episodes total and La Fan will start Tuesday, January 10.

Silvana. Well, I guess 116 is better than 120--especially with all the filler it's had in the last few weeks.

Span Prof: "La Dona" is one cutthroat woman!

La Doña: Thank you J for pointing out my mistake in the listing schedule. And thanks to my partner Juanita for sending me an email. I went and fixed it on the main page. This is what happens when you've just have a 65th birthday. My brains need an upgrade, or more memory, or something.

Silvana

116 is way too long for a show like this where NOTHING happens!

TELEMUNDO...

"Telemundo announced the kick off of its new production “Guerra de Idolos (War of Idols),” the network’s first original musical series, which will show a deeper look into the struggle in front of and behind the camera of those who manage and control the music business."

La Doña

Since no one has said s/he'd do a recap, I will try to put up a quick one within the next hour or so.

SILVANA SIN LANA – LUNES – Parte 1 de 2

We again have to suffer through Stella’s scene with Antonio José. She’s arch; she’s smug; she’s coy. I’m nauseous. After a lot of pretending to be reluctant, she tells him that Manuel told her he left her for another woman. And that he told her that the woman is Chivis. [I’m pretty sure she’s lying in her teeth to AJ because I don’t remember Manuel ever outright telling her whom he loved.]

AJ tries to find out if Chivis returns Manuel’s affections. Instead of saying yes, Chivis is in love with him, she tells AJ that Chivis is una mojigata [someone who pretends to be innocent or humble but means to get her way at all costs]. There’s also an allusion to not being able to tell what’s up with Chivis because she hides her feelings [unlike Stella who has the subtlety of a sledgehammer].

Stella tells AJ not to tell anyone she was the one who told this. AJ swears his discretion and says he’s going to help her get Manuel back.

At Casa Chivis, she’s washing dishes in the kitchen. [This kitchen looks bigger and nicer every time they show it.] AJ shows her a folder with some sort of contract for a construction project. It’s signed by Robert McAllister. [Odd name for a Spanish speaker, eh?] When Chivis isn’t exactly impressed and tells him she hopes it’s “clean”, he tells her the usual crap: all his businesses were clean; what happened was a misunderstanding.

Casa Three Stooges: Stella is over the moon happy. She tells the other two stooges that AJ is going to save her. She tells Dom that she’s definitely going to get Manuel back. Poncho rightly points out that very recently she was quite jealous of Génesis. She airily tells him to go ahead and marry her.

AJ tells the girls and Trini that tomorrow is Chivis’ birthday and he’s planning a surprise. He tells them all to pretend they’ve forgotten her birthday.

The next morning Lupita comes into her mother’s bedroom with a breakfast tray. Apparently this is what she always does for her mother. But this time she says the tray is for Trini. Each person: Trini, Angie and Majo all pretend to not know it’s her birthday.

Chivis comes to the terminal sad and tells Manuel that her family forgot her birthday and that it’s today. He gives her a lot of affection. He tells her to go outside and come back in. When she does, he’s jumping with enthusiasm for her birthday. He teases her some about maybe it being her 70th. Then he invites her for a meal.

I guess Jorge is not that smart. We see he and Angie at the school. He studied all night and can’t remember what the letters DNA stand for. He says he’s still worried Angie will leave the neighborhood and then break up with him. She reassures him and then kisses him right there in school and in front of the trophy case. Yikes, someone in my school would probably have been expelled!

Trini comes to the bakery to order a chocolate cake for Silvana’s birthday. Don Benito, of course, says it’s on the house. [I remember one funny thing Margarita said when AJ came for bread. She asked if it was on the tab, like the rest of his family.] Trini tries to get Don B to look into her eyes and guess what she’s thinking. This does not work, and she’s angry with him again.

SILVANA SIN LANA – LUNES – Parte 2 de 2

Andrés seems to be doing better. He’s on his cell and offering to bring some chelas [beers] to some sort of event. María José shows up to apologize. Andy: “I forgive you; now leave.” MJ admits doing everything wrong. She says she couldn’t marry unless she were 100% sure. Andy: “And you had to wait until I was at the altar? I asked you a thousand times; and you had a thousand chances to tell me the truth.” He tells her she’s a bad person.

Some scene with Lupita and Pedrito. >>>>FF

Majo tells Andrés to tell her to go to hell if he wants to. She starts crying. He tells her that she only thinks of herself. He says that what happened is that she didn’t want to quedarse sin pan y sin queso (means to be so indecisive about having two options that one ends up with nothing at all). Majo tells him she was scared. It wasn’t easy to leave him; he was practically a member of the family. Andrés retorts that she left him a long time ago. She stopped loving him a long time ago, but didn’t have the guts to tell him. And he says that he himself was an idiot for not realizing it.

He asks Majo if she has any idea how ashamed he is, how awful it was to wait and wait. He says it was the worst day of his life and she caused it. And he tells her that the worst of all was her sending her father to tell him, that it would have been less painful if she’d done it herself. He tells her to go away and shuts the door in her face.

We see Manuel at the mall shopping, but don’t see what, if anything, he bought.

Stella is packing and has boxes all over the house. [Whaaaat?] Dom wonders if she’s packed a strait jacket. She tells them it’s a surprise. [Does she think she’s imminently going to move in with Manuel?]

Lucha is happy to see Manuel at the university drinking coffee instead of alcohol. She comforts him some more. She tells him a true thing: Women talk to other women about their troubles and men drink. He tells her about MJ coming to see him and that he feels as if she’d died.

We get another idiotic Stooges scene, something about Javito the dog being missing for a couple of minutes. But there’s one thing worth seeing. Stella imitates Génesis’ voice, sticks out her chest a few times and intones: “Alabado.” As Génesis she comments that since Poncho has two neurons to her one, they should get married. Dom has to hide his face in a dishtowel.

Manuel calls Chivis and invites her to meet him at La Raza Grill at 3:00. She’s delighted. But just then Angie and Majo show up, wishing her happy birthday, and cover her eyes with a scarf and take her to some luxurious restaurant where Trini, AJ and Lupita have been waiting for her. Chivis looks pretty miserable.

Poor Manuel is waiting at the other restaurant. He’s told the waitress to tell the tall, slender blonde that her tiburón is awaiting her. He has a gift and all.

Silvana

Thanks for the recap novelera!

Even though I like this TN, I do wish they hadn't added so much filler. If they had stuck to the original without adding all the fluff, it would have been around 85 episodes long.

La Doña (Capítulo 5) - Lunes - 1 of 2

We open with the street scene where thieves rob Mónica and Lidya and the police are unconcerned. Indeed, it looks as if one cop is trying to arrest Lidya (perhaps because she didn't pay a fee to see her baked goods on the street?). Mónica remembers Saúl getting all the people in the barrio to take out their cell phones and take videos of the hoodlums vandalizing the neighborhood. To help Lidya, she takes out her phone and starts to record the cop trying to arrest Lidya, and she calls for onlookers to do likewise. Soon, half a dozen people are filming the cop's actions, causing him to let Lidya go. All the cops leave.

Ximena has her interview at the important law firm. They're not interested in her experience helping abused women get their legal rights. Ximena claims that her real interest is in commercial law, but the interviewer points out that she has no experience in that field. He also describes her as Saúl's assistant, although she claims that she and he work as a team. She doesn't get the job.

There's a scene with Braulio, his wife Valeria, and their son Diego at the table. Braulio accuses his son of being weak and tells Valeria it's her fault. I think he wants Diego to have boxing lessons to teach him how to be a real man.

Altagracia (AG) has told her husband Felipe that if he doesn't meddle in her business, he can make love with her as often as he wishes. He wants to do so that night. She remembers that when she lived with her aunt Yesenia as a child, Yesenia taught her how to use herbs, and she remembers one that would make a man impotent, at least for one night. We then see her with Felipe. She offers him a glass of wine for a toast. Apparently she has used the herb in the wine, and he can't perform. He's distraught. She tells him it's psychological: if he doesn't have confidence in her outside the bedroom, this will affect his performance in bed. He later tells AG's sister Regina that he thinks AG may be right--he doesn't have confidence in AG, and he couldn't perform.

The scenes with AG and Felipe are interspersed with shots of Ximena and Saúl starting to have sex. They're interrupted by a phone call. AG has called Saúl and tells him to meet her at her house the next day to talk about the issue of the disputed property and about her denuncia against his father.

Yesenia performs some kind of ritual and feels that Guillermo is dead. She blames AG and vows to have revenge.

Mónica suggests that she and Lidya could make tortas together and split the profits.

Ximena is uneasy about Saúl's going to AG house. She fears it may be a trap. Saúl's mother thinks Ximena is right, but Saúl is determined to go, thinking it may help his father.

As Saúl leaves, he comes upon Mónica and Lidya. They tell him about their being robbed. Though he is concerned and sympathetic, he's eager to get to AG's house (which seems to be in the countryside) and hurries off.

Yesenia hears Mónica call Lázaro "papá." Yesenia is visibly taken aback. Lázaro awkwardly explains to Mónica that he and Yesenia worked together a long time ago.

AG is waiting for Saúl. She thinks to herself that "This man is different." She remembers her aunt telling her that all men are alike, they all want the same thing: the body of a beautiful woman. And she (AG) has this gift.

Saúl arrives at the house. He opens the door and enters without knocking (??). It takes him a while to find AG in the huge house. He finally comes upon her, stark naked. She asks, "Don't you think a real man would be attracted to me?"

La Doña (Capítulo 5) - Lunes - 2 of 2

We then see AG and Saúl outside. She has a rifle and is shooting targets thrown up into the air. She seems to be a very good shot. Saúl asks her whether she was ever in Veracruz. She asks why. He tells her he lived there, and that he helped defend women who had been abused. AG tells him she doesn't want to talk about Veracruz. She also says that justice in the textbooks is different from justice in real life. She threatens that his father could be in prison and Saúl could lose his licence to practice law. "You wouldn't want that, would you?" she asks/threatens.

Yesenia tells Lázaro "The cards have told me Guillermo is dead. I'm all alone. Mónica has my blood. Please let me be near her." She tells him that AG has to pay for what she has done.

AG tells Saúl that if his father signs a statement saying that she owns the property, she'll drop all charges against him. Saúl says he won't do that. He also tells her that if he weren't here dealing with her, he'd be in Veracruz making sure that the man who abused the woman Saúl successfully defended will be punished.

The scene shifts to Veracruz. We see the woman Saúl defended walking fearfully down the street. Suddenly she is grabbed from behind by the man who abused her. He grabs her by the hair, hits her, and tells her she's not free of him.

Saúl asks AG why she is so affected by his account of the abused women. He asks whether she had experienced something similar. She denies this, saying that no one ever harmed her. She then rides off on her horse.

In Veracruz, the nasty guy brings the woman he abused to his car, points a gun at her, and opens the trunk. She screams. He abandons the idea of putting her in the trunk and forces her into front passenger seat.

Saúl gets on a second horse and races after AG. His horse draws up next to hers, and he jumps onto her horse behind her. He tells her, "I want to reach the woman inside you, the one who was harmed, though you deny it. You asked for justice and they didn't give it to you. Don't be like them. My father's life is in your hands."

In Veracruz, the nasty guy's car is stopped (perhaps at a traffic light) and a guy comes over to wash the windshield, hoping for some money. The woman gestures to him and screams, he quickly summons his fellow windshield washers to help, and the woman manages to escape from the car. She and the windshield washers quickly disappear, and the guy has to drive off without her.

Great recap, novelera! Many thanks!!

I loved your comment about Stella having the subtlety of a sledgehammer. And I agree that just about the only thing worth watching in the parts with the 3 Stooges was Stella's imitation of Génesis and her comment about the neurons. And thanks for FF>> the scene between Lupita and Pedrito.

I was mystified by the scene with all the boxes at Stella's. I found myself wondering whether they were there primarily to serve as places Javito could crash into. I was also slightly puzzled by Poncho's claim that Génesis wasn't answering his calls. The sound from the phone when he called was one that normally indicates that a number is not in service or has been dialed incorrectly.

Special thanks for the inclusion of some helpful Spanish.

Senora Acero 3: I noticed the brunette actress (who was involved in the 3-person sex escapade) looks similar because I could've sworn she was on "Infames".

Juanita: My thoughts on "La Dona": AG sure does love to be stark naked all of the time.

Aracely's got nice abs though!

SILVANA

novelera - Thank you for the recap ... and the snark right out of the gate (you wasted no time - LOL) --- "We again have to suffer through Stella’s scene with Antonio José. She’s arch; she’s smug; she’s coy. I’m nauseous."

The camera shots of Chivis' kitchen are probably taken by those same cameras realtors use for online home listings. They always look 10x larger than they really are.

At best, maybe Stella will end up as fish food. A viewer can always hope.

Could AJ's partner in the next deal, "Robert McAllister", be Roberto, the boss of Steve the chauffeur?

Silvana

doris, I'm pretty sure that AJ's partner is indeed Steve's boss. You may remember a few episodes ago, AJ came to see his old friend Roberto at his house, and Steve was there as well. Indeed, that was when Roberto offered his car and Steve as driver to take AJ and Majo to the wedding she was supposed to have with Andrés. AJ and Roberto also discussed AJ's business proposal then, and Roberto agreed to invest.

Silvana

novelera, your comment about "Robert McAllister" being an odd name for a Spanish speaker reminded me that a while back I was looking at the full cast listing in IMDB and found that Esteban's last name is listed as "Williams." I wonder whether these two guys are ultimately going to turn out to be Americans.

LA DOÑA Gracias Juanita. Wonderful recap. Thanks to you, I'm getting a handle on all the characters' names. I confess, I'm not quite as thrilled with this novela as I had hoped to be. But in time, I will be addicted. It always happens. I find the (over-long) sex scenes verging on tedious, rather than tantalizing (which I'm sure they're meant to be). But I kind of like the rhythm of the back and forth between Mexico City and Veracruz, both in flashbacks of AG's rape and in Saúl's ongoing legal work with the abused women. I get the feeling that all street vendors are victims of police graft, but it was cool to see the wave of empowerment when the vendors started taking videos of the cops. Without wishing to get political here, it does sort of reflect contemporary trends.

The plot could not be less subtle. Saúl has already got AG psychoanalyzed and he's barely met her. A lot of psychic melodrama going on. He could read her personality through her eyes? And Yesenia is a bonafide practitioner of witchcraft? And AG is some sort of ritual devil-worshipper?

I loved your descriptions of the action. So this is a motif for Saúl: that he rides alongside AG, then heroically & athletically jumps from his horse/elevator car to the one AG is riding. How many more of these moves will we be treated to? He's getting a little too close physically for my taste. Bets on how soon they take a tumble in the grass, or the sheets.

So glad that poor woman was rescued by the windshield washers. I couldn't have watched more violence at that moment.

Silvana You outdid yourself this time, novelera, and that's saying a lot! And that's considering that this episode also was heavy on the filler! Excellent analysis of AJ's and Stella's interaction. I loved your definition of mojigata and I too thought your characterization of Stella's having all the subtlety of a sledgehammer was hilarious. Also, it says something about an episode if the comic high point is Stella's imitation of Génesis, which WAS extremely funny. Andrés is right. MJ is both selfish and cowardly, and he's well shut of her, as Mark Twain and my Missouri grandmother would have said. But, oh well, she gets a chance to apologize, he gets a chance to vent, so caso cerrado, as dra. Ana would say. Wouldn't you know that AJ would use Chivis's birthday as another way to manipulate and control. I was a little surprised that Angie didn't catch on to it. Having Lupita take the breakfast tray to Trini rather than Chivis was rather cruel. I can't believe that Chivis didn't call Manuel at the restaurant where he was waiting as soon as the blindfold was off. Oh well, another invented barrier between them.

Silvana

thanks so much novelera for another wonderful recap!

hmm, so AJ has a plan for Stella to get back together with Manuel, but we don't get to hear what it is, I have no idea where they plan to move to and Stella isn't talking either, it's a surprise. (I hope Aj hasn't figured out a way to swap houses, que horrors)

Silvana

did Chivis' phone get left behind when the girls swooped her off? poor Manuel.

La Doña

wow, thanks so much Juanita for this terrific recap.

I think Braulio's wife noticed his injured knuckles and asked who the victim was this time, where he said it was from his boxing, which led to suggesting Diego go with him.

that place where La Doña met Saúl must be one of her estates outside of the city, she had the foreman take everyone away, which is why I think Saúl entered, expecting to find a servant.

and what's with Regina always fluttering around Felipe.

interesting that Saúl's work with abused women and his follow up, sending the attackers to jail is being done in Veracruz, the same place where La Doña was raped, talking about it affects her, but does it soften her to him.

and his coming here has left one attacker free.

cute how Lidya prettied up Monica, but Saúl didn't notice, glad they toned down the lipstick after he left.

I guess Ximena is going to take a stab at establishing her career in corporate law (as in dealing with/for people such as AG) but she doesn't want anying else to change with Saúl, a shark in the courtroom and a tiger in the bedroom (if I heard that right).

Yesenia's ritual was swinging a necklace over a spread out deck of taro cards in front of a photo of Guillermo, and the card it came to rest over, when turned over, was the death card.

considering how evil Yesenia has been to Lazaro it would only be his desire for revenge that would allow him to ally with her, but it seems she wants to use Monica somehow.

Silvana. Doris: I think Chivis did yell something about "my phone" or "don't forget my phone" when the girls were blindfolding her, but I kind of thought they included it with her purse. Maybe not. Oh for the days of pay phones!

Silvana. I meant deb.

La Doña

Muchísimas gracias, deb, for all the terrific information you've provided. I especially appreciated your explaining Vesenia's ritual that led to her conclusion that Guillermo is dead. I'm afraid I don't know diddley squat about such stuff. I saw her swinging the necklace, but I didn't understand that it was being swung over an opened pack of cards, nor that it stopped over the death card.

I love the irony of AG's being the cause of the nasty guy in Veracruz being free. I wonder whether AG realizes it.

I'm probably naive, but I didn't think that Vesenia wants to use Mónica to get vengeance against AG. I took Vesenia at her word that with Guillermo's death she is now all alone in the world and Mónica is her only blood relative, so she'd like to get to know her. I suspect you may be right, but for the moment I'll cling to my naivete. :-)

La Doña

Thanks very much, LXV, for your encouraging and insightful commentary. I'm relieved to find that I'm not the only one who didn't find the sex scenes all the, um, engaging. And I too liked "the rhythm of the back and forth between Mexico City and Veracruz" (and I also loved your wording).

Yes, I think Yesenia is a practitioner of witchcraft, and she seems to know her stuff. She, of course, taught her arts to AG as a child, and the student may now surpass the teacher. The student is certainly a lot more evil.

I cheered when the window washers helped the woman to escape. I have a moderately high tolerance for violence, but I certainly didn't want any more.

Juanita: Did you watch the Gran Final of "Senora Acero 3" last night ? I thought the gory scenes of Chucho being eaten up like that by the wolves GROSS!

I was disgusted that Indira (corrupt dirty DHS officer) got away with the corruption. Where's her anvil ?

Steve, I stopped watching Señora Acero 3 after the first week. I decided that the 8 pm time slot worked better for me than the 10 pm slot.

Silvana

I suspect it will come as no surprise when I say that I'll post tonight's recap sometime tomorrow morning. :-)

Silvana sin Lana (Capítulo 94) - Martes - Parte 1 de 3

We again see Chivis being led blindfolded into a fancy restaurant where the rest of her family is waiting. Her blindfolds are removed and everyone yells "Surprise!" She's pleased that her family didn't really forget her birthday, but she's somewhat disconcerted at this turn of events, since she had hoped to celebrate her birthday with Manuel, who she knows is waiting for her at a different restaurant.

AJ wants to say a few words. "I want to tell you that we will always be a family" [is that a threat?]. Addressing Chivis, he says he will always support her, wherever she is [somehow, I don't think so]. Trini wants Chivis to thank AJ. Chivis, however, addresses her remarks to her daughters: "Everything I do, I do for you, my daughters. I love you and adore you."

Manuel is waiting at an outdoor table. He keeps phoning Chivis, but he gets only her answering machine. The waitress asks whether he'd like the michelada he has ordered for his guest to be put in the fridge so it won't get warm (a "michelada" is a Mexican concoction made with beer, lime juice, and assorted sauces, spices, and peppers). He decides he'll drink the one on the table and have the waitress prepare another for his guest. He also orders carnitas (barbequed pork).

Trini is pleased at again being at a fancy restaurant. AJ assures her that soon she will return to the life she deserves. Chivis, meanwhile, is looking for phone messages. She says she's expecting a work-related message. Everyone tells her to relax, it's her birthday. AJ announces that he has a gift for Chivis.

Manuel somewhat sheepishly tells the waitress that he's an idiot, he got the day wrong. He asks her to bring the bill and a tequila. When she leaves, he takes out the gift he bought for Chivis and partially unwraps it so that he and Viewerville can see what he chose: a framed photo of Chivis and him on a boat, looking very happy. It's probably from their "business trip" to Key West.

A big black car drives up to an enormous white house. Everyone but Chivis seems very pleased. AJ again wishes Chivis a happy birthday and hands her the keys to the house. "I'm returning what I took from you. Your house. Our house. Welcome to the house you never should have left." So apparently it's not just an absurdly luxurious house, it's the very house they used to have! AJ asks her what she thinks of her gift. Lupita squeals with insufferable delight. Chivis, however, is having a hard time processing what's happening. She tells the others to go inside. She'll join them in a few minutes.

Manuel returns home. Pedrito asks him for help with his homework, which concerns the different states of matter. Manuel finds it hard to concentrate, and he soon tells Pedrito to put an asterisk next to the ones he doesn't know and ask the teacher tomorrow. Pedrito senses that all is not well. He reminds Manuel that he taught him that men can cry. Pedrito asks if the gift Manuel came home with was for Chivis, since it's her birthday.

Chivis finally enters the house and walks through it in a state of shock. AJ has managed to get back all their furniture and other possessions. Dismayed, Chivis asks AJ how he managed to do this. He replies, "When I propose something, I get it. The house comes with everything you chose with so much love." The Three Shriekers (Lupita, Majo, and Trini) express their delight. AJ tells them everything is ready, they can move in immediately.

Manuel is in his bedroom, still trying to reach Chivis on the phone. Vicente comes in to tell Manuel that Lucha and "el doctorcito" are sitting together on the patio. He quickly sees that Manuel is unhappy. Manuel claims that he's not unhappy, just tired from a hard day at work.

Silvana sin Lana (Cap. 94) - Martes - Parte 2 de 3

Vicente, however, doesn't accept this: "You've always said that you can tell me your problems." Manuel finally gives in and talks about Chivis. Today is her birthday, her family forgot, Chivis felt hurt, and he had arranged to take her to dinner, but she never arrived, she stood him up (me dejó plantado).

Once everyone has left the room, Chivis lights into a very smug-looking AJ: "This is much more than a birthday present. You should have asked me" (Debiste haberme preguntado). The arch manipulator replies that if he had asked, it wouldn't have been a surprise. She should think of her daughters and the delight on their faces.

Vicente observes that things got more complicated once AJ returned. However, the love that Manuel and Chivis have is good, and things will get better. Manuel admits that he's totally in love with Chivis, but he's beginning to lose hope. If in spite of what she's said, she goes back to her husband... "Without her, I'm dead." Vicente assures him that he's always been a strong man, who all alone as a widower successfully raised four children. Many times he [Manuel] felt he couldn't continue, but he did. Manuel admits that Vicente is right: for his children, he had to swallow his fear and face everything, he had no choice. Life isn't easy. Yes, agrees Vicente, life isn't easy, but it's also true that you made everything better for us (nos sacaste a flote). Moreover, Chivis is a serious woman. She's not going to do things capriciously (No va a hacer las cosas a lo loco).

Chivis tells AJ that returning to this house is a decision she should have made. AJ replies that she didn't decide to leave the house, she left it because of his mistakes, it was his fault that she lost everything. "And now I'm returning everything to you, and I don't want anything in exchange, not even that you forgive me." Chivis objects that now he's taking from her everything that she had achieved with great effort. "Again, you're doing things without my knowledge. I'm not a piece of furniture that you can move from one house to another in a van!" AJ again insists that he didn't want to spoil the surprise. "Well," says Chivis, "you made a mistake. I feel ignored, devalued, as if I were just some kind of ornament" (Me siento ¡como si estuviera pintada en la pared!). She accuses him of trying to control her (manejarme), since obviously now she can't tell her daughters that she doesn't want to live there. He replies that he did it because he loves her, not to control her. He'll respect her decision about the two of them. He won't live there, the house is hers and their daughters'. "And you'll see in a few days that you'll be happy," he says, leaving the room.

Vicente's encouragement is working. Manuel says he thinks Chivis will make the right decision. Vicente asks whether he believes Chivis loves him. Manuel says yes, she has told him so, and her eyes are sincere. "Then believe in her and be calm," urges Vicente. Vicente agrees that it's going to be difficult, but he says that Manuel has often told him, "You have to give it time" (Hay que darle tiempo al tiempo). [Both Pedrito and Vicente echo what Manuel has taught them.]

Chivis asks AG about his night house arrest (arresto domiciliario nocturno). Don't worry about it, he says. I just have to go to court once a week. "And what did you do with my house?" she asks. "That wasn't your house. This is your house!" he replies. "What do you mean, it wasn't my house. Of course it was!" [It's interesting that she uses the past tense.] At that moment, the rest of the family enters the room, wildly enthusiastic. Trini insists he's a saint. Chivis and Angie stand aside, watching.

Silvana sin Lana (Cap. 94) - Martes - Parte 3 de 3

The return to Coral Gables isn't the only move we see in this episode. Stella is also moving, though we don't yet know where. She has enlisted Dom and Poncho to help her take the packed cartons out of the house. Dom asks why she's being so mysterious. She says she won't tell him while Poncho is present. Poncho comes in and asks why they have to leave. She tells them she doesn't want to frighten them, but they've found a structural defect (una falla estructural). She says the house is badly balanced [like its inhabitants?]. " Any day it could collapse and we'd be crushed." Stella claims she feels responsible for them and she'd never forgive herself if something happened to them. However, if they want to sign a statement absolving her of responsibility, they can stay. [So much for her caring about them.] Dom says he wants to leave, but Poncho says won't believe her until he sees the house plans.

In Coral Gables, Majo screams with delight at the new elliptical trainer in her bedroom. Shortly afterward, she's joined by her sister shrieker, Lupita, who has just discovered a wonderful large comforter (edredón) on her bed. She stops shrieking long enough to notice that Angie doesn't seem so happy. Angie assures Lupita that she's happy, it's just that the change was so superbrusco. Majo strongly disagrees. Lupita also thinks that the return to the house means that her parents are no longer going to separate. Angie and Majo exchange serious looks.

Jorge is watching TV when The Devil (aka Margarita) knocks at the door. She asks how he feels. When he seems happy, she tells him his neighbors have left. He doesn't believe her and immediately calls Angie. She says she was about to call him. She tells him it was a surprise, only her father knew. She assures him that they'll continue to see each other: she'll visit him, he'll visit her, they'll see each other at school. "We're going to be together because we love each other." Margarita looks very happy as she listens to Jorge's end of the conversation. She tells Jorge that it's just as well, Angie doesn't belong here, she's not like us. And does he think Angie will still attend school here now that she has moved back to her mansion? She "comforts" Jorge by telling him there's nothing he can do, it's no one's fault.

At the mansion, AJ is preparing to leave. He's planning to stay first at a hotel and then rent an apartment so they can visit him. And he will visit them every day, even if it's only for five minutes. [Huh??] The shriekers don't want him to leave. Trini calls him a martyr, a true martyr. Majo wonders why he can't stay in one of the house's many bedrooms.

On the Gallardo's patio, Lucha and Andrés are eating and seeming to enjoy themselves. He notes that they never lack for conversation, but this insight quickly vanishes. Lucha is upset that he's still drinking a lot. He's annoyed that Lucha is on his case about this. He tells her that drinking makes him forget that he's sad. Lucha tells him he's not like that, and she prefers to say something now before something bad happens. [Uh oh!]

Manuel and Vicente come outside and encounter Margarita. Of course, she tells them about their neighbors having moved out, returning to their mansion in Coral Gables. Both Vicente and Manuel are stunned. Jorge explains that he's just spoken to Angie and apparently it was a surprise. No one knew except her father.

Silvana. Excellent recap, Juanita. That "men can cry" from Pedrito was so sweet. Totally agree about not thinking that AJ is supporting Chivis--in any sense. AJ's use of diminutives about his hotel and apartment is supposed to make him appear more sympathetic to his allies Trini, MJ and Lupita. All that said, this novela has now officially jumped the shark! [Why do so many tns do that toward the end?] The duplex is now vacated. So this is the plot AJ and Stella cooked up? Isn't the duplex in Chivis's name? Doesn't she have a lease? Isn't the rent paid till the end of the month? This isn't the 19th c. The husband can't just unilaterally relocate the wife--especially if there are legal contracts in her name involved. Boy, she should have divorced him weeks ago! And no doubt all that stuff about Stella's house having structural defects is just a lie. Not hard to figure out where she's planning to move. Goes without saying that AJ has no authority whatsoever either to sublet or give away the lease on the duplex. Where is Chivis' backbone? She used to have one.

SILVANA

Juanita - Thank you for the recap ... or perhaps I should say "recrap", because what a load of **** this is turning out to be. Honestly, after reading your summary of this episode, I fear for my TV screen. If I watch this episode, I might throw things at it. Juanita, thank you for taking this one for the team, er, Patio.

SpanProf --- Yes. I. totally. agree. with ALL your questions. My telenovela beanie hat exploded while reading Juanita's recap of this episode. Looks like yours did, too. ;-)

If the Feds seized his house, how did AJ get it back? Shouldn't there be a trial first??? I've got to place a rush order, overnight delivery for a new telenovela beanie hat because my old one is in shreds. Shreds!!!
Seriously, I think I'd be happier watching a Looneyvision telenovela right how (and them's fightin' words, Telemundo!-LOL)

I am so ticked off at 1) the writers, 2) AJ, 3) Stella ..... and I'll leave it at that. Argh! I'm ready to see someone FFOL (fight for our love).

Silvana

that was one great recap Juanita!

we're talking some big bucks here for AJ to do what he did, so is he investing Robert's start-up money in himself rather than reaping the profits later on that he promised.

and he had all their stuff from the duplex moved there as well, wow.

I think Chivis should invite Manuel and his family to come live with them since the place is so big, and give up his place to Genesis.

why does Stella keep calling AJ, Pepe?

Silvana. Deb: Pepe is the nickname for José: from the original Biblical Latin Josephus. Moving Manuel and family in is a great idea! :) And excellent observation that that is probably where the start-up money from Roberto went!

Silvana

thanks SpanProf!

Silvana

MANY THANKS, SpanProf, doris, and deb, for your terrific comments. SpanProf, I had the same question you posed about how AJ was able to take over/dispose of Chivis' apartment. His name isn't even on the lease! And yes, it does indeed look as if this is the plot that AJ and Stella have cooked up to get Chivis back with him and Stella back with Manuel.

doris, loved your dubbing this a "recrap"! I suspect I'll steal that term before the novela is over. And I too am puzzled by how AJ could get the house and furnishings back from the feds before a trial. Not to mention the amount of money that might have been involved.

deb, I wonder whether your suggestion (moving Manuel and family into the Coral Gables mansion) will turn out to be the outcome. I keep asking myself why Chivis said that the other house was (era) her house rather than is/es. It's hard to imagine the Gallardos comfortable there in that house and neighborhood, however, and I suspect Chivis might be uncomfortable there as well.

And speaking of comfort, I will be uncomfortable if anything good happens with/to Margarita, Stella, Trini, or AJ. My fear is that only AJ will be punished.

La Doña

hmm, between whining, failing to find a job, and being jealous, Ximena visits Saúl's dad in jail trying to convince him to give in to AG when they find out he is being transfered to prison, a call to Saúl brings him running who dazzles the jailers with his legalese, only to find out AG has dropped the charges, what? her confrontation with Saúl has led her to change her strategy to a more kinder/gentler approach, to get what she wants, and she has the press play it up.

approached by a cop while selling sandwiches, Monica gives him an earful as Lidya tries to hold her back, but he just wants to but a sandwich, he gives her his card, we like this guy, (and later on Saúl advises Monica to get the necessary permits so she won't have to pay bribes, he'll help)

the crowded transit system has led Monica to pull a bicycle from the trash which she plans to bring back to life, does that plan also apply to yourself, Saúl asks.

the welcoming party at the tenement is quieted down by the arrival of La Doña and her bodyguards, whose husband earlier comment on how exceptionally beautiful she was looking, and where she was going was left unanswered. Saúl has to stand between her and his father as they are not agreeing on anything.

earlier Margarita, the abused girl from Veracruz had arrived looking for Saúl but was met with Ximena who tries to calm her, but a phone call home to warn her mother is answered by her attacker, who wants her there now, but she can't because she is in Mexico city, and a second call to a neighbor lets her know that her house is on fire with her mother inside, how bad can things get for a girl, as her anguish spills out into the party, and is seen by Saúl, and once again AG is pulled into the unjust abuse of women in Veracruz.

hmm, at one point we saw this bad guy with a tattoo, could this be one of the guys that La Doña is looking for?

what else?

SILVANA:

Juanita- Thank you so much, amiga! I saw a preview for this episode and knew I wouldn't be able to take it. I read your recap, hoping that it would say that Chivis told AJ that he can stuff his house, and marched back to the hood with her family. But, nope! This whole thing is absurd. If in the next episode Chivis actually lets AJ live with them, I think I'm done watching this show until its last two weeks. Of course, I will not stop reading the brilliant recaps. :)

SILVANA
I didn't like yesterday's episode, I think chivis caused what happened by letting AJ stay too long, he used that as a way to manipulate trini and the girls now chivis can't get out of this problem she's in so easily

Olise

Silvana--

Thank you, Juanita, but for me it was too late not to watch. So, I enjoyed the read you provided us, though, and praise your dedication.

Now we all know why this tn is 116 or so episodes. It'll take that long to sort out all the couples and all the misunderstandings. I don't know if I'll be able to last that long (of course I will...I just wanted to rant.)

How clever of Manuel to save face by saying he got the wrong day. He knew up to about 20 min. before the date Chivis was on her way. That's what he should cling to--and the fact she has told him many times she can't stand the idea of being too far away from him and she loves him. He MUST be able to figure out something happened and not that she just stood him up.

Finding out "they" moved without saying a word to anyone is an emotional kick to the stomach, but of course it was not "they," but A.J. all by himself who orchestrated the move (conducting--i.e. supervising only). How come it was only Margarita who saw the moving truck? Didn't Jorge come home from school about the same time?

I wonder what Don B will have to say about this, or has Trini basically erased him from her re-newed life.

Of course it's Stella who is moving in to Chivis' house. (I'm pretty sure it was a rental, but still.) Just more hijinks we'll have to watch with a loose dog, holes in the wall to Manuel's bedroom and a catwalk from her bedroom to his. Oy vey.

I concur, the money to buy back the mansion (maybe the feds hadn't had time to dispose of it) and all the original furniture was probably Roberto's money. I hope he loses the whole lot and gets to take over the house in compensation--just a dream. And where does Esteeve fit in?

LA DOÑA: @deb: how do you do this? what a fabulous summary in just a couple of paragraphs. I'm starting to get into this show. Wish I had more time to watch & comment.

La Doña

remembering the hassles taking Monica's dad to a clinic, everyone lets AG take Margarita to a private hospital where she calls the chief doctor out of surgery to assist, and gets the scoop on Margarita.

arriving home late, AG blows off her husband Felipe, for a private talk with her sister Regina, tells of the rapist from Veracruz, the tattoo, says a portal has opened for her.

just about every girl that has seen Saúl and AG together comments that AG looks like she is ready to devour him, except this has to be explained to Monica.(and later to Saúl by Ximena)

Valeria tells her tense husband Braulio that unlike AG, she likes to be dominated by men, which gets Braulio all over her, she likes, up to the part he calls out AG's name.

AG slithers into her bat cave, where the candles are always lit, asks for a sign, (is that the devil she talks to) and a black bird flies in, like the one that was there when she was raped.

next morning

Monica is finishing off her bike, that she has named Cleto ??, and tells her father about last night and AG, he goes pale, no I have never met her, says they should move.

let's see if I can sort out the kids, Isabel (AG's niece) likes Marcos, (a smart kid on a scholarship paid for by AG), but AG has ordered Diego (Valeria and Braulio's kid), to woo her, while friend Emiliano (Leticia and Rafeal's kid) smokes dope and chases all the girls. Leticia sees Isabela kiss Marcos goodbye and runs to AG the next morning and spills, AG has Braulio visit the school and cancel his scholarship.

Saúl and Ximena are leaving the hospital after spending the night, having a spat, while AG is arriving and listens, she then has Matamoros (her security guy) check out Ximena.

Monica goes to city hall to get a license as a street vendor, it's a 2 or more page application and she can't work for 20 days, what? but hey they can do it under the table, and if she doesn't have money they can... yes Monica knows what they can... and creates a scandal until she is escorted out of the building.

the good cop stops by for his morning sandwich, (like he said he would) gets Monica to spill on her trip to city hall, yea, he doesn't like paperwork either, but he knows how things work on the street, he'll look out for her, (oh maybe he isn't a good guy), and what's his price, he just says she has earned his respect, Gabino is his name.

Ag under the guise of being a friend of Saúls gets Margarita to spill, and it's a match, he called her his bunny, he was in a gang called the monkeys, the tattoo is a monkey with a trident for a tail, so Ag gets the rest, his name is Miguel Preciado, he is a well known business man in Veracruz, he doesn't mess with the rich ladies in his business but with poor ones who can't defend themselves, (Aracely Arámbula is pretty good at doing far-away eyes with her lips painted purple)

LA DOÑA Thnk you so much deb, I love how AG's candles are always lit. What minion from the underworld is in there replacing them when they melt down? It is truly some region of hell (behind the bookcase).Monica's pa is good at "going pale". Fear was written all over his face.

Thanks for explicating the teenager plot. We'll know that Valeria & Braulio's kid has come into his own when his hairstyle improves. I fully expect a transformation from this kid once he gets beat down to the point combs the bangs off the side of his face.

LA DOÑA:

Thanks so much, deb. Love how you pack so much into a few words. It's a gift!

It's interesting that Monica is the only person who thinks AG is a nice person, or at least thinks she's not evil.

I feel so sorry for poor Diego, with a weak mother like Valeria and an abusive psycho for a dad like Braulio.

Silvana sin Lana - Wednesday, December 7 - Capítulo 95, part 1/2

Short version: Stella and her boys move into the duplex. AJ hires Steve to spy on Chivis. Lucha loses the election.

Long version: Repeat of the scene with the Gallardos and Margarita outside. Manuel figures out that AJ took everyone to the mansion as a birthday surprise for Chivis and that’s why she never answered her phone.

Lupita is sad that her dad is not living with them. She still wants her parents to get back together. Majo suggests wanting their parents to be happy, even if that means separated. Lupita suddenly remembers that she will miss Pedro, and she knows that Majo will miss Vicente. Majo denies liking him.

Lucha gets Andrés to drink soda instead of wine.

Manuel calls Chivis, who doesn’t answer right away and rushes into another room. Back in her natural habitat, classist Trini comments to Angie that Chivis should forget about Manuel. Chivis calls Manuel back but he won’t answer the phone.

Angie follows Chivis into her obscenely large bedroom. She doesn’t understand why Chivis seems so down. Chivis tells her about accidentally standing Manuel up and now he won’t answer his phone. She is upset as how quickly everything happened, and she didn’t get the chance to say goodbye. Angie points out there was no need to say goodbye because they will still see the Gallardos. She is definitely not letting go of Jorge just because she lives further away, and if Chivis really loves Manuel, she would find a way to make it work.

Majo thinks about the second time she met Vicente, when he explained how to get to Coral Gables from their duplex. She calls him and is excited about being back in her house. Vicente is not quite as excited to no longer have her on the other side of the wall. She promises they will continue seeing each other often. Vicente wants to see her right away. She calls him “mi amor” and Vicente is surprised/happy about it. She again tells him they can’t let everyone know yet since it’s not the right time to tell her father.

AJ and Steve are at AJ’s new place. AJ likes that Steve supports him even though he doesn’t know his history with Chivis. Steve apologizes for butting in, but AJ thinks he should get more involved.

Angie can’t understand why Chivis thinks she’s not free to be with Manuel. She is separated from AJ, and he willingly left. Chivis uses Lupita as an excuse. Angie wisely says that she will get used to having divorced parents, like so many other kids. Chivis fears that AJ will find a way to weasel his way back into her life and screw things up.

AJ wants Steve to be his spy and tell him everything that happens at the mansion and with his family.

Silvana

"And speaking of comfort, I will be uncomfortable if anything good happens with/to Margarita, Stella, Trini, or AJ. My fear is that only AJ will be punished."

Hopefully, nothing good will happen to them because they don't deserve it. Especially Stella and Margarita. Stella is just too careless with people's feelings. Look at what she did to Poncho. She get jealous because he shows an interest in Genesis, but as soon and it looks like she can get Manuel back, she's like "Okay, marry Genesis. I don't care." And Margarita has been an insufferable b*tch since day one. No wonder Jorge fell for Angie. She's a breath of fresh air compared to Margarita. And hopefully Don Benito will dump Trini and go back to Sarita. It's what Trini deserves.

But I'm guessing once the excitement of moving back home wears off, Maria Jose, Lupita and Trini will miss the men back in the neighborhood. I figure Chivis and Angie already do since they seem to be the only sensible women on this show.

Silvana sin Lana - Wednesday, December 7 - Capítulo 95, part 2/2

Stella brings Dom and Poncho to the duplex. Chivis’ old place is their new home. Poncho knows it’s just a ploy to be closer to Manuel. Dom is worried that Stella buried Chivis and the girls in the backyard.

Lucha says goodnight to Andrés. She needs to study and doesn’t want to be tired for the election results the next day. Andrés is sure she will win. He wants to kiss her but she won’t let him.

Margarita tells Don Benito and Juanito that the Villaseñors have moved. Don Benito is visibly upset and Margarita keeps rubbing more salt in the wound about Trini forgetting him so easily. She finally leaves and Juanito tries to comfort him.

Chivis texts Manuel that she’ll talk to him at the terminal the next day about what happened. Lupita crawls into bed with her. She’s not used to sleeping alone anymore. Chivis tries to make her feel better by saying she is also a little scared sleeping alone. Lupita has to respond with “you wouldn’t be scared if dad were here.” Lupita asks if Chivis is happy and if AJ left her a note like he left her one. When she finds out that Chivis has already forgiven AJ, Lupita is happy and says they shouldn’t be separated then. Chivis sighs.

Manuel goes out on the balcony. Just as he’s about to go back inside, the other door opens, and out comes his worst nightmare/Stella. She won’t explain how she knows about Chivis moving back to the mansion. She asserts that she will get Manuel back. After she goes inside, Manuel sadly says good night Chivis. Don’t forget that I love you. Chivis is on the balcony at her mansion and says the same thing to Manuel.

The next morning, Poncho complains about the house, but Dom’s loving it. Stella tells them about seeing Manuel on the balcony. Poncho prefers to go to the terminal on his own instead of with them. He’s also going to leave his stuff at the old house.

Lupita and Angie don’t want to change schools and Chivis agrees that it’s too late in the year anyway. Lupita is sure that her dad has everything figured out. Speaking of the devil, AJ appears out of nowhere to take the girls to school. When Chivis asks how he got in and if he has keys, he responds of course, this is my house. She asks him what he did with her van.

Lucha and Mauro wait for the election results. They’re both happy they stayed friends. Lucha ends up losing the election. Andrés walks over to her, saying he’s sure they counted the votes wrong and it’s their loss. Lucha isn’t too upset and smiles at Andrés.

AJ tells Chivis she doesn’t have to keep working. Chivis will not leave her job. AJ sent the van to the terminal and introduces Steve as their new chauffeur.

Silvana. Excellent recap, J. It gets more and more maddening. A few random comments. Once again Angie is wise. I do not understand why Manuel doesn't answer Chivis' call, especially since he has pretty much figured out what happened. While she's on the balcony Stella lets it drop that AJ rented the duplex to her, something he had no legal authority to do. It's good that Chivis won't leave her job. Will Esteban run into Stella in the course of his chauffeuring/spying? That might be interesting. I hope someone starts eviction proceedings on Stella, since she's in that duplex illegally, but in Telenovelaland it's not likely.

La Doña

thanks guys,

ah yes I forgot to add Braulio tracking down his son Diego and giving him a good slap dpwn for not winning over Isabela like he was told to do, and that he needs to become a man, either by the easy way or the hard way, as he remembers, is it AG that asked him if Diego is really his son, he sure doesn't look like you, ut oh.

SILVANA
J--Thanks for the recap of this "maddening" middle of this telenovela.

I heard Stella (for once I understood her) telling either the boys or Manuel, that she didn't know this was the house next to Manuel. She thought his house was several blocks away. Of course, Manuel ought to know she knew, since she moved in with him for awhile. Well, what HASN'T she lied about? She and Majo need to be put in a Liar's Contest. I understand why she told LuLu that Vicente didn't mean anything to her, because she knew LuLu would immediately go run tell her Papito.

It really tugged at my heartstrings when each lover on his and her balcony tells the other not to forget that, "I love you."

Silvana

thanks so much J, another wonderful recap!

it's kind of obvious that Andres is trying to fill the void that MaJo left with Lucha, it's nice that she is wise enough to see that.

so Stella refers to Anthony Jose as Toño Pepe.

if not for school and work, I could see the girls drifting apart, especially with the distance involved getting between the house and mansion, and Chivis going back to the mansion has always been one of Manuel's fears, as the beginning of the end, and Chivis has yet to make a stand against AJ, without Manuel being there propping her up.

Silvana

I was out last night and busy this morning, so I've only just watched last night's infuriating episode of Silvana. Thanks very much, J, for your excellent recap. I doubt I could have done it--I was too infuriated just about all the way through the episode. We start with Perra #1 (Margarita) again telling everyone about Chivis et al. moving back to Coral Gables. Not content with spoiling the day for Jorge, Manuel, and Vicente, she bursts into the bakery and almost gloats the news to Don Benito.

And then there's Perra #2, Stella. Enough said.

I'm not sure what word to apply to Antonio José -- Telemundo keeps bleeping all the words I'd find useful (in the 10 pm novelas). It's not bad enough that he abruptly takes his family back to Coral Gables without consulting them, he moves Chivis' camioneta to the terminal without her knowledge or approval (where did he get the keys?) and hires Esteban to be her chauffeur and to spy on her and the rest of the family. What a [use your imagination]!!

Question: Can AJ insist on Esteban's being in the house even if Chivis doesn't want him there?

SpanProf, I liked your suggesting the possibility that Esteban might run into Stella in the course of his chauffeur duties. Though frankly, if Chivis doesn't immediately demand that she get her camioneta back and refuse to let Esteban drive her anywhere, I may give up on this novela.

La Doña

deb, many many thanks for Tuesday's and Wednesday's recaps. I love your concise, impressionistic style that conveys so much so delightfully. Special kudos for "AG slithers into her bat cave." I'm also most grateful for your sorting out the teenagers. I was especially confused about Emiliano.

I'm running late, so I'll stop now. Again, ¡muchísimas gracias!

SILVANA:

Thank you so much, J. I saw the last 10 minutes, and that was more than enough for me. I will watch the last few minutes tonight, and prepare myself to be deeply disappointed in Silvana, because I expect her to cave to AJ's imposition of Steve as driver and live-in spy. She didn't get near upset enough about AJ having a set of house keys, strolling in at will, and calling the house "his" house. That would have been IT for me! I would have packed my bags in that moment and moved in with Manuel.

Silvana

Thanks so much, J, for another fine recap. Liked “back in her natural habitat” to describe Trini’s snobby behavior.

SpanProf, I also did not understand why, having figured out that Chivis was basically kidnapped by her family and taken to the house, Manuel ignored her calls.

In some ways Margarita is worse than Stella. Jorge had to grab her to keep her from following his father rattling on about why he’d been calling Chivis in the first place. Manuel was sort of thinking out loud; she picked upon on what he said and had the gall to confront the father of the boy she’s trying to get back about HIS behavior.

And then she gloated about their leaving to her saintly grandfather, not even picking up on how miserable he is. It’s always all about her.

I’m starting to get fed up with Chivis. I know she’s supposed to be 90% motivated by being a loving mother, but she needs to grow a spine. She should have walked away from that house the moment the girls were installed and gone back to her house. And sneaking away from her mother to answer a call from Manuel, ultimately losing the call before she got to that huge bedroom. Turning up the television to disguise calling him. I'm sorry. This behavior is too wimpy for me to bear. Manuel deserves better.

And, speaking of that house, his getting the very same house back AND all the stuff seized by the government makes absolutely NO sense. Wouldn’t the house have sold, maybe to some money launderer for the cartels, by now? And how was he supposed to get all the seized things back from wherever they were taken?

So, the theory is that AJ moved Chivis and the girls out lock, stock and barrel in a few hours and offered the empty space to Stella, even though Chivis is the tenant? Gah!

Lucha is right to be slowing Andrés down a bit. They will be a great pair together, but it makes no sense to get romantic with another person two days after being left at the altar.

Someone mentioned something having happened between Steve and Chivis. I don’t remember that. I only remember Steve and Stella as having had scenes together before. Could someone refresh my memory, please?

Silvana

novelera- yes Stella and Steve did the deed on their last get together at his place, it was more implied than shown as she slid down the back of the couch laying out and he pounced, and the scene changed, but it was confirmed by her when she thought she might be pregnant.

SILVANA:

The Steve and Chivis thing is that now Steve is to be Chivis' driver (as if she can't drive herself) and spy on her. And since AJ had asked him to spy on what happens in the house, it seems AJ intends for Steve to be live-in help.

SILVANA
Thanks novelera, I said the same thing that chivis needs to grow a spine and stop wasting manuel's time, she acts like she's the kid and her children are her bosses, she allowed AJ to stay too long....I think Manuel should demand that she atleast start the divorce proceedings before anything happens between both of them

Olise

Silvana

novelera- ah, why was I thinking of Stella and Steve, I don't think Chivis and Steve have ever met before.

Silvana

If the house truly is hers, then she shouldn't just walk away from it. She should sell it and use the money to buy her real house, the duplex, and her van. And tell Lupita to get used to her parents being divorced because her father is a schmuck. Or maybe let Angie break it to the girl because Angie is good at everything.

Kelly

SILVANA

Sorry I've not been commenting. Really losing interest in/ patience for this tn. They could have condensed what has happened in the last few months into half the time, maximum. And Chivis is a grown woman- seeing her railroaded by that jerk AJ is really annoying. Mañuel is a good man, who loves her. What's there to wait for?!

Not happy with the ending of Silvana sin Lana, does anyone know what's going to take its time slot
