Bella still in LA in her foster home.
Armie's grieving (ha) wife and son and rotten daughter are at the casino.
Eman and his squeeee are bonding at the cabin in the boonies. C&N go in and “forcefully” pull out Emanuel. For show.
Bella saves Pene's ass in the cafeteria when a bully guy was beating her up after taking her milk.(Bella with her cast still on.)
JP tries to call Bella, but gets a “Not in Service” message.

Bella B E A T a couple of guys in front of everybody in the cafeteria with some of her Tae Kwon DooDoo moooves.
She then makes friends with Pene who tells Bella that she is no longer alone…Bella can count on her. Pene can get her into the gym at night since Mike doesn’t lock the gym doors.
AND she can put in a good word with MIKE....Marine. Pene then tells Bella about how Mike had a GF who was killed during a mission. Mike went after the killers and sent them to middle earth.
JP goes to Ricardo with all the documents needed to train as a federal agent. When Ric tells him to get out, JP threatens to call the media.

Eman meets with Maria's Mom and Dad and lies that they are still looking for Maria. He wants their permission to conduct a rescue mission...since it will be risky. Alicia doesn’t want to put Maria at risk, but Rodrigo does agree and gives the permission.
Gloria tells JP that the “associates” got in contact with her. They told her that Armando had agreed that they would have first dibs on buying their shares of the casino. JP opens the case of money they paid for the shares…a whole DOLLAR! JP then gets a call about Emilia who is in a bar drunk on stage acting like a little Ho. JP hauls her out of there, brings her home and puts her to bed.
Mom Gloria says they are broke and doesn’t know what they will do. JP tells her he will get a job. He is tired of all the corruption; so he wants to be a federal agent.

Confrontation where some punk, Junior, Castor's son, pulls a gun on Bella and Pene. Castor had sent him to kill Bella. They kick his ass and somehow MIKE shows up. They are waterboarding Junior who spills that it was Castor, his father, who sent him. Then he turns up talking to C&N.
He gives them a letter from Bella who tells Castor that she will make sure he will be six feet under and that she is going after all those that had her parents killed. Junior tells them he tried to kill her, (Castor sent him) but she is a wildcat…not a young helpless girl like his father told him.

Meanwhile Bella is showing Mike and Pene the video and filling them in about how her parents were killed by the Beasts and her plan for revenge. Mike is telling her she is not even close to being prepared to do this. She “Knows Nothing”…but he will help her. Now the threesome team is coming together.

Gloria tells JP that she has a buyer for the house, Horacio Hernandez, but JP recognizes him as one of the beasts and refuses to sell to him. Emilia breezes in and fripping takes over because, now that her father is dead, she will be taking care of business. She tells them they will sell and little mouse, Mom, agrees. JP slinks away as it looks like she is a natural at this stuff.

Eman goes to get Maria who wonders where all the other agents are. She sees C&N who wave and say good-bye to her are there and NOT holding Eman at gunpoint as before . Maria figures it out that Eman is taking her somewhere to dispose of her as he locks her in his truck. She is screaming but apparently can not unlock the doors or start the thing and drive away. Keys must have not been in it.

Bella's cast is off and she is ready to go back to Mexico, but Mike says she is not ready. He tells her she is still a kid (adolescent) and she needs practice and training, like military training.
Pene tells Bella that she is going to Mexico too. Bella tells her “no” because this is her fight and she wants to fight it alone. Pene insists…Bella and Mike are her only family and she neeeeds to go.
JP graduates from the popo academy and gets his badge. I heard a bell ring. Some brunette Honey is hanging on his arm.

Emilia is still hemline challenged and passing out funpacks (Pink Cocaine, a synthetic drug) in some bar, or maybe at the casino. Tells the kids it’s on her and “Have Fun.”
We see Eman burying a body, I assume Maria. Then telling her parents the bad news that she is gone and can't be found.

Big meeting of the beasts. Eman is being introduced as the man of the hour…he is good, honest, impeccable, loyal-to-Mexico…and the new Director of Interpol. Meanwhile, Eman is having flashbacks of burying a body, I assume Maria. Then telling her parents that the kidnappers got away and took Maria with them…and that she is most likely dead by now.
Norman and Castor are working the Casino. Norman tells Castro to stop harassing the employees and clients, but Castro thinks he has so much money now that he can get a lawyer if he gets sued.

Awww shit, Bella is going through the airport security looking like a real expensive hooker.

Accompanied by M&P. Must be about ready to open up a can of Dinty Moore Beast Stew.
 

They really have done a masterful job of setting up this whole novela in only five episodes. I like how they did the time jump with the flashbacks to fill in the unsavory details. I cannot wait for JP to run into Bela. The only character I could do without is Emília.

Kirby, thank you for filling in some of the points I had missed about the show.


One little detail that I did notice about JP's graduation was that Ricardo still doesn't approve of him becoming a federal. Will he try to sabotage JP in his chosen career or will he see in time that JP is an honest, hardworking cop? Who is this Ricardo guy, anyway?

Iloved Mike being all rough with Bella to get her to realize that she can't just go and start killing those beasts without any proper training or plan. I'm thinking he'll be the voice of reason for Bella. He's my new favorite character.


How long was the time lapse? Is it possible that Eman killed Maria after she had his baby? If we see him caring for a child in present, then we shall know that's what he's done.
And I think that's the way it could be, why else have Maria pregnant in the first time if not? Someone in here said after the first capitulo that the fact that Maria is pregnant and only Bella knew might become important to the plot.
Considering the fact that Eman is the only hidden beast, maybe Bella will make the connection when she meets Eman's son and sees something of Maria in him. Maybe this is what helps her unmask Eman?

I'm finally back and what do I arrive "home" to? A beautiful avatar and an amazing recap. Kirby, simply outstanding. Hung on every word.

Mi amiga Judy has already quoted my favorites but they bear repeating. "squeeee", "Mike went after the killers and sent them to middle earth" and "hemline challenged". "Dinty Moore Beast Stew" is sidebar worthy.

And yes Jarifa, I can't believe it's only been 5 episodes! I can't remember the last time I was so drawn into a TN, so quickly. I have yet to read the previous recaps so will say thank you in advance.

The scene where Eman locked Maria in the car was frightening. We knew it would end badly, but unbelivably sad nevertheless.

It was fun watching coltish Bella morph into a cool, confident, take no prisoners woman. I like Pene but agree that Mike is very interesting and intense. I also appreciated he told Bella she knew nothing.

I didn't mind the waterboarding of Castor's son (kind of shocking myself and not in a good way).

Adriana Noel, it never occurred to me Maria might have had the child only to be disposed of later. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Loved the strutting of the new Mod Squad at the end. I'm hooked. Totally.

Steve, they showed previews of what looked to be the next episode last night on my station. It had Bella in disguise with a real dorky look, glasses and all, assisted by Pene. (Pene pronounced like the small copper American coin.)

I forgot one scene where Mike set up the ambush in the gym to test Bella after her cast was off and she was back 100%. One girl and several guys were hiding and jumped out and attacked Bella and she dispatched them all without smearing her makeup.

Do they speed up the camera in her fight scenes so I can not see that it is actually a body double? It looks like when the cars go by watching a race.

Kirby, when I saw Bela walking through the airport security in that outfit, I thought they will make her take off those over the knee boots, in addition, all the bling on those boots will make the metal detector ring and she will be at least patted down and maybe taken to a room for a more close search.

They didn't really tell us how long the time jump was. I remember a 'Much Later' or something to that effect. But it was long enough for Bella to get the cast off, rehabilitate her broken leg, complete her guerrilla warfare training, and get a new hairdo.

So it was plenty of time for Maria to have delivered the Devil's spawn and then be murdered. I guess I shouldn't even think this, but WTF was she thinking? I mean, if it were you or Andy I'd understand, but Emanuel is neither cool nor handsome.

According to what I found on the ‘Net’ federal agent training in Mexico takes 5 years, so the time jump must at least be that long.

I’m sure Esme has a body double, but I know she went through a lot of martial arts training for this TN so I think much of it is Esme.

Those boots!! ...were made for walkin’...kicking and whatever else. :-) do the heels have hidden blades, a phone, etc.?

I thought it was interesting how Pene shared the story about Mike. She referred to him as the "The Lone Man" (not the Lone Ranger?)and when Bella asked why he didn't allow girls to train, Pene shared that Mike was in the military where he had a girlfriend The gf was off the camp when the Taliban killed her. She thinks that's why he won't train girls. Bella feels sorry for Mike, but Pene feels more sorry for the killers since Mike was so full of anger and rage that he dressed as a civilian, went to find the men and "sent them to middle earth."

The other tidbit of information is that Pene is originally from Puebla, but has no family there any longer. She came to the US as a child but couldn't return to Mexico until she reached the age of majority (which she has now reached). Something must have happened in Puebla when she was a child because Bella told her that after what happened in Puebla, she thought Pene would never want to return.

Nina, we saw Eman having a flashback of digging a grave, and a Body WRAPPED FROM HEAD to TOE so we couldn't tell who it was. So you could be onto something.

I had assumed it was Maria, but the body seemed heavy for Eman to move, as he was struggling to drag it into the grave with him.

Sooo it could be almost anybody besides Maria, as Emanuel appears to believe there are just plain too dam many people on Earth and he has been sent to fix it.

The little Jr High plaque in her bedroom says Emilia. "hem will be even". I don't think we have seen anything with a hem per se yet, as it appears everything she has had on so far, they got about halfway through and just ran out of fabric.

I don’t think Ricardo is dirty; at least there hasn’t been any indication that he is. He is leery of JP simply because of who his father was He may think JP’s goal is to be. a mole as someone indicated above. Ric was very honest about his feelings toward JP. At the graduation when he was handing JP his medal, he didn’t want to congratulate him because that woul be hypocritical if he was dirty, I don’t think being a hypocrite would phase him one bit.
 

Steve, thanks! For whatever reason I recognizeed the name "Jauma" but couldn't put the face with the name. Will look for him tonight.

I don't blame Ricardo for being skeptical. I would be too...it is really incredible that he would want to be a policeman given his origins. It will be interesting to see him come into his own.

I agree that Ricardo is just suspicious of JP because he is the son of the bad guy responsible for the deaths of Enrique and his family. My fear is that Ricardo will be focusing on watching JP and not Emanuel.

RGV your research indicated that the time lapse must have been at least on the order of five years based on the time for JP to get his wing.,.....badge.

So that would indicate that Bella had been in that stinking Foster Stable with all those misfits for five years,

So if she wasn't cray cray when she got there she is now. Perfect to carry out her plan as she returns to the scene of the crime. For someone in her late teens to early twenties five years is a lifetime, like from enrolling to graduating from college.

And if Maria was allowed to deliver her baby before her death, it would be an little fellow starting school now, so we should not be watching for an infant.
 

Finally got to see this. What a chilling and macabre duet of interspersing flashbacks of Emauel killing his teenage pregnant lover with the effusive praise of his integrity and respectability as the new head of Interpol.

Did enjoy seeing Bela sashay through Mexican airport inspection with those thigh-high boots. Security does seem more relaxed in Mexico. And they practically strip search you in Charlotte. I'm over 75 but I always get patted down and last time they insisted I take off my workout shoes as well. Bela would NEVER have gotten through Charlotte security

Episode 6, Part 1: Looking Out for Little Girls

JP gets a present from his mom…a bullet which is really a microphone. She hopes he uses that bullet rather than the other type.

Bella arrives at her house with Mike and Pene. She shows them where her father was shot and where he died. Seeing that the house is so nice, Mike understands why Bella had trouble adjusting to the foster home. Pene thinks they should stay elsewhere since the house brings so many bad memories, but Bella wants to stay…it’s time to start getting rid of the beasts. The plan for now is that Bella and Pene will go to Puebla and Mike will stay to look for a site for the gym.

JP looks at some photos of the Bestias and pins them up. Meanwhile, Bella goes to the bat cave and looks at the photos she had pinned up.

On their way to Puebla on a bus, Bella wonders if Pene is sure she wants to go through with this, but Pene has been thinking about this since she was 12 years old; so it’s a go. Bella points out that there will be no turning back…after this, they will stop being victims. Pen then confides how her step father, Pedro, started sexually assaulting her. Every night she would wish that her mother would arrive so she could tell her what her stepfather was doing, but her mother never arrived. Pene thinks her mother is dead. When Belle feels sorry for Pene, Pene tells her that the one that will be sorry is Pedro.

JP approaches Ricardo and tells him he wants to investigate Castor for sexual assault. Several women have declared against him. Ric thinks JP became a cop because of his own personal vendettas…either that or he is infiltrating the organization and continues to work for criminals. Ric then tells JP that his first assignment is on his desk.

JP goes to his desk. Simón and Felipe tell him he will be working on unsolved cases…that is how Ric will keep him from advancing to a higher level.

At a pool house, Castro complains about not being allowed to attend a meeting. Norman tells him Emanuel only wants him there and he will represent both of them.

In Puebla, Pedro chides his current wife, Lupe, for going to the cops and reporting him for hitting her. He beats her to keep her in line. The knock at the door is Bella who is disguised as a church representative and asks to talk to them, but Pedro refuses. As Bella insists, she takes a look inside and sees Lupe and a little girl. After Bella leaves, she goes to tell Pene that that man is Pedro, but there is a woman and child inside too. If the little girl is Pedro’s daughter, Bella won’t allow Pene to make the girl an orphan.

 

Episode 6, Part 2: Looking Out for Little Girls

At the pool house, the Bestias meet. Emanuel tells them that now that he has such an important position, he will not be able to continue with them. He promises them that he will not allow any investigations on their businesses, but they will have to clean up their own messes. Emanuel will continue his relationships with them, but he has to leave the association.

In Puebla, Pene pretends to be a vendor and watches as Pedro says good-bye to Lupe and the little girl. Once they walk away, Pene calls out to Pedro; so he goes to talk and flirt with her. Meanwhile, Bella talks to Lupe and asks about the bruises on her face. Lupe doesn’t want to talk, but Bella advises her that she shouldn’t keep quiet. Lupe confides that she has reported Pedro, but he has cop friends; so she has gotten nowhere. Bella manages to find out the girl is not Pedro’s daughter and that Lupe worries about her daughter getting older.

JP tells Simón and Felipe about how Castor pays for sex; and if the women refuse, Castor sexually assaults them.

Mike finds a site for the gym and wants to buy it.

JP looks for Bella at her house, but she isn’t there. He tries calling her, but he gets her voicemail.

Pene continues to make conversation with Pedro. He tells her Lupe is his 3rd wife…the first two wives are dead. When Pene asks about his kids, Pedro tells her he has no kids…he doesn’t want to have boys. He only likes little girls.

Emilia sells drugs to the same kids she was with the night before.

JP goes to the casino to make small talk with Castor. He gives Castor the bullet/mic as a present and puts it in Castor’s pocket.

Bella and Pene discuss how Pedro beats his wife. Pene thinks he will do to the little girl what he did to her. He will pay!

Bella finds Pedro and beats him. She smashes his head on a brick stairway and he passes out. Next thing you know, Pene has Pedro in a church building as she kicks him and gets a rope.

JP tells Simón and Felipe about how he planted the mic on Castor. He then gets a signal that Castor is talking. JP listens as Castor talks on the phone about a business deal and tells the person to send the pink cocaine…he will make sure it gets sold.

Pene ties Pedro up and punches him as she reminds him about what he did to her when she wasn’t even 12. She will not allow him to do to other young girls what he did to her; so she starts to rig up a hangman’s rope.

JP talks to his girlfriend who is a psychologist. He asks if she has ever heard of pink cocaine, but she hasn’t.

 

Episode 6, Part 3: Looking Out for Little Girls

Pedro struggles to untie himself as Bella and Pene are outside talking to Lupe. They tell her about support groups and that she should never allow a man to hit her again. Lupe will take their advice. Bella and Pene head back to go finish the job, but as kids and others walk into the church, Pedro tips over the chair he was barely standing on and hangs himself.

Alicia meets with Emanuel and wants him to do more to find María. Emanuel reminds her that María is surely dead, but Alicia won’t believe it unless she sees her daughter’s body. After Alicia leaves, Emanuel has the flashbacks about putting María in the truck and burying the body.

Bella visits her parent’s graves and promises to kill each of the Bestias. As she stands, JP approaches from behind so Bella goes into defense mode until she sees that it is JP. They tell each other how they have changed. JP asks her if she has a boyfriend. After Bella says she doesn’t, JP admits that he has a girlfriend.

Emilia continues to sell drugs as Castor comes and tells her she is being summoned. Before she leaves, he gives her a bundle of money since the pink cocaine business was her idea.
JP and Bella continue to talk. JP asks Bella about the video…and the episode ends…

There is certainly a very deep, primal part of us that wants to see the bad guys, the abusers and killers all punished, and as Jarifa says, this one "delivers".

And so do you Chica...hope those coyotes or any other four-footed bad guys are staying away from your chickens.




 

Good Morning! Early start for me on the patio today. It's been raining since 4 am (C) with heavy rain for over an hour. I think I've gotten more rain in the past 3 days than I have in the past 3 years. JudyB, it seems that the predators have been staying away; no lost chickens. I did have to put down a goat on Monday, though...she was always sickly and with this last bout she was at a point of no return :-(

Getting back to the TN...geez, these bad guys are freakin' BAD! So JudyB, I agree that "a very deep, primal part of us that wants to see the bad guys, the abusers and killers all punished" and how sweet it is to see them get their due...especially since we know that those who get killed on the show get up after the director says, "Cut! It's a take!" What I like about this show (so far) is that we don;t see the gory details. This is something I was hoping for...I don;t like to see brutalcarnage.

Andy, Emilia was selling the pink cocaine to some guys, so NOPE not just for girls :-)

Jarifa, I was looking forward to all the disguises...they are really good, aren't they.

I knew something bad had happened to Penelope in PUebla, but didn't imagine this type of abuse. Perro got what he deserved. And Pene crying afterwards was a nice touch. It shows that she has heart and a conscience. What does surprise me is that Bella seems so much tougher than Pene. I would have thought that Pene would be the more hard-hearted since she had such a tougher life than Bella, but then I guess Bella seeing her parents killed wasn't at all easy and she is being led by her rage.

I wondered where Pene and Mike are living, I would have thought, with Bella in that big house, but it doesn't look like it. And we still have not found out if Maria's baby survived.

Don't you luuuurve it when the good guys are smart too? Even Mom Gloria is using her noodle, giving her son the bullet bug which he promptly put to good use.

I am really beginning to wonder about Ric-O. It is not far fetched for new people to be assigned the lowest drudgery jobs at first, but I still wonder wat up?

If the Jehovah's Witnesses who come to MY door looked like Bella they might have a little more luck. She's hot even as a thumper. Woofing and wagging.

Poor thing, five years have passed now and she is still crying at her parents graves. I will watch this show from beginning to end just to see her find out who Emanuel really is. I hate to admit it but I am really big on revenge. I HATE it when these TN bad guys walk away without a scratch. Life isn't fair, but it would be closer if it would be a surety that you always get what you have coming.

Will JP call out to Bella from a distance next time rather than walk right within slashing range? Kudos to him being honest and telling Bella he has a girlfriend. It is the same tall girl I noticed at his 'Graduation'.

Does the Gym Mike was looking into a building for have anything to do with Bella's revenge mission?

I enjoyed the obvious compatibility and natural in sync rhythm betweeen JP and Bella. That is, after she retrqacted her knife which she almost thrust into his chest :) I liked he admitted he had a girl friend right away although I suspect she will soon be history, although I have wondered if she is working for the Beasts. I'm sure I'm overthinking.

Eman lost his patience with Alicia. His curt assertion left no doubt Maria is dead. Of course Alicia has no reason to be suspicious. Unfortunately. I suspect you cannot play both sides in perpetuity so he will make mistakes sooner or later. Bella and her posse will ensure that occurs.

Jarifa, I have to admit I have no uneasiness watching these abusive, cruel creatures get their "just desserts".

Judy, I feel the punishments being meted out here on earth certainly seem to be justified. I belive that their reckoning after death will be even more terrifying.

JP could have helped his cause years ago by talking instead of sitting there like a deaf mute when Bella begged him to tell the truth.

So not to hold a grudge (forever), but he is still on my shitlist. Actually he got on the list when he allowed his Dad to punch him in the face. A stepfather tried that with me when I was still in high school and it didn't work real good for him or some of the furniture in the room.

I was just rewatching the episode. Kirby, yes, that is the Quintero's new house. A little detail I didn't mention was that Emilia arrived and JP commented how proud he was of her for doing well on her exam. She must be really good at hiding waht she is really doing.

Question: When JP was talking to Felipe, he got an email with pictures of Bella at the airport. I can't tell who sent the email, but is there a way to track a person's photos with some app or similar service?
 

Yes, it depends on the phone which took the picture, but as pictures are actually just digital files, a subsection is called the EXIF data portion. EXIF stands for EXchangeable Image File, and contains the camera type, shutter speed, exposure, and a lot of other things usually nowadays including the Latitude and Longitude GPS data of where the pic was shot.

OT I can FedEx you a case of water. :-)

Oh, those shots were from the airport cameras? Then somebody probably hacked them and stole the pictures. Pretty easy to do, as general purpose surveillance cameras (Not critical security wise) many times use the same network which laptops, phones, and other connected devices use.

Thanks to a day off that allowed me to recover from a vacation, I managed to binge watch all the episodes and can now join this lively and lovely patio.

So far, I love how fast paced this show is and love the protagonist and her sidekicks. I hate JP and totally agree with Kirby about him. Why he decided to shut up at that occasion is beyond my understanding. It's not that he had good reason to do this. Nobody was being threatened, he had the video to prove everything and he could have put the end to the whole thing there and then. But I guess we wouldn't have another 67 episodes of this show if he would have talked.

I hated that Bella and Penelope killed the rapist. I understand that it's a show about revenge and he was a pedophile rapist and deserved to be punished, but murdering him like that was a bit extreme. And he didn't really pay for his crimes. A better punishment for him would be castrating him, but leaving him alive.
And they should have thought about poor parishioners of that church, especially the children, when they chose a place to hang him. They are traumatized for life now.

JP's mama gifting him a listening device in a shape of a bullet was a beanie worthy moment." Oh, my son just graduated from the police academy, he will probably need to plant listening devices on people and I just saw a cute one in a form of a bullet the other day. He will love it and it will remind him of me every time he plants it."

You know I did think they would castrate him. They were on their way back to the church to finish, to kill him or torchure him into a confession and tape it. But the chair Fell first. I don't necessarily like the idea that Pene and Bella killed the Perro, but I like Nina's theory that they may have not intended to actually kill him, but maybe just teach him a lesson. Pene could have put that chair under him so Pedro could seal his own fate by trying to escape...if he struggled to get untied,he would topple the chair and hang himself. Had he stayed still, he may not have hanged himself and those parishioners might have been able to help him. Far=fetched idea, I know, but a possibility. I'm not suer about castrating him and letting him live, though. Wouldn't that just make Perro meaner and more perverse?

Nina, I'm pretty sure JP's buddies know who his father was. I hope Emilia gets hers too, but wouldn't it be something if it was JP who brought her down. He already found out that Castor is selling the pink cocaine. I wish Castor had the bullet with him when he went to talk to Emilia.

Rgv Chick, good point about Perro becoming meaner if castrated. I honestly don't know what I would have done with Perro if I were at Penelope's place. Obviously involving the police wouldn't have worked and castrating him, as you aptly said, would have only made him meaner. If Bella had more money,maybe she could have constructed a makeshift jail somewhere in the jungle to dump all the beasts there. But she doesn't have that much money, so it does seem like killing him is the only option. Or maybe disabling him, so that he wouldn't be able to hurt anyone else. And I can't believe that I am even thinking this. I am thankful I don't have to be in Bella's and Penelope's shoes.

And, yeah, I know in the real world the bullet was dumb, but in a TH it was a stroke of genius, as evidenced by his being able to beam Castor Oil's conversation off a NASA satellite and eavesdrop. But you have to give it to JP for having it in his pistol and ejecting it like the real thing and dropping it in Castor's pocket.

Now I'm not the sharpest kniie in the drawer, but he fooled me for a minute.

Wednesday:

Bella and JP are comparing scars and reminiscing about old times and finding out if the other is single.
They are walking along together. Emi is in the casino and being paid by Castor for her share of the cocaine selling business. Fruit <---> Tree Between begging for ice water Daddy must be looking up and smiling.

Bella surprises Maria's Dad at his mechanic shop and he takes her home to reunite with Alicia.
Maria's poor Mom is still thinking of Maria all the time hoping she might someday return. Bella tries to tell Alicia that Maria is dead, but Alicia won’t hear it; she is hoping Maria will show up just as Bella just showed up.

Horacio, a Beast, comes to visit Eman right before Bella pays Eman a surprise visit. Horror wants Eman to continue being his associate. He is leaving as Bella arrives . Ding Ding Ding she recognizes him as he is leaving and is almost in shock as Eman comes out to greet her.

She regains her composure and tells Eman about the gym and Mike and Pene. Bella then asks Eman if the man who just left is his friend. Eman responds that he has to deal with Horror because he is the mayor. She asks about Maria and he tells her she is dead, but when he mentions that they found Maria’s necklace, Bella thinks that that is not enough evidence. When Bella asks if it was the same men that killed her parents, Eman replies that they had nothing substantial to prove it. Bella points out that Eman didn’t keep his promises and adds that the country is full of corrupt people.

Emilia is in the casino talking to Felipe, JP’s work buddy. He asks her if she has heard of ‘pink cocaine’ but she pretends to not know anything about it. She can, however, ask her friends at the university to see what they can find out. Felipe then shares that their first case involves a shipment of the drug that is coming in.

Mike and Pene at home (Bella's house) talking about Pene going to confront her stepfather. When she tells him that she feels free and a heavy weight off her shoulders, Mike agrees that there is that feeling of freedom, but points out that it doesn’t change the past. Pene worries about Bella. She only had one person to pay back; she wonders how Bella will feel since she has a long list of people to deal with.

JP and Simon play the recording of Castor for Ricardo, but Ric tells them he can’t use it because of the way they got it. After some coaxing from JP, Ric agrees to let them go ahead with the case.

Bella, Mike & Pene are at home discussing how Bella is going to get more money since she doesn’t have much left. Bella wants to steal the money from the casino, but doesn’t know exactly how. As Mike tells Pene that they should just blow open the vault, Bella looks out at the tree where the outside lights are strung and above where her Dad fell. She comes back and tells them that they will steal the truck that delivers the money from the casino to the bank. After Mike points out that they don’t know the delivery schedule, Bella tells them they can look into it.

Eman meets Norm out overlooking the town at night. Eman wants Norman, and only Norman, to be his associate. Norman is hesitant because he and Castor have been friends for such a long time. Eman tells him to think about it.

Next we see Bella in her blonde disguise (which should be her everyday look) in the casino. She is wearing a mic and camera and talking to M&P at home using Bulletechnology.
 

Part 2:

C&N watch Bella on casino security monitors and Emilia calls Castor to tell him that questions are being asked about the pink cocaine. Castor isn’t worried. Bella has a video feed also back to M&P, but then they lose the sound. M&P can only see what she sees through her BulletCam. Castor sends a security to bring her to him because she is hot. Castor frantically tries to hide all the contraband on his desk and sprays on half a bottle of fake Ralph Lauren on his double knit JC Penny suit.

Meanwhile JP and Newboy are listening to Castor with the BigBulletEar. After Bella walks in, introduces herself as Carolina and starts to talk, JP recognizes her voice, They listen as Castor invites ‘Carolina’ to his ranch. He is willing to pay her, but ‘Carolina’ isn’t interested in the money; she just wants to be with Castor. As they talk, one of the workers comes in for instructions. Castor tells him that he will need two trucks for the next day—one will go to the airport to pick up a package and the other will go to the bank.

JP, NB and others raid a big warehouse and find the drugs hidden in roses.

Bella, M&P back at home discussing how they will take the money truck. Bella wants Mike to take care of the truck because she wants to go meet with Castor. Mike and Pene don’t think Bella should go see castor, but Bella insists…she will be fine.

Castor is a horn dog grabbing the waitresses in the casino and trying to talk Norman into going in with him on the drug business. Norman advises him to not get into it.

Bella in her GARTER disguise getting ready to go see Castor. JP calls and tells her that he is in the middle of an operation and they are about to go after Castor. Bella has a small weapon of some sort hidden in her GARTER.

Mike has taken the fat little Castor's driver's wife hostage and calls him and lets her talk to him to prove that he really has her. Mike then tells the driver that he is to do as Mike says. Those instructions will be to abandon the money truck when Mike comes to take it.

Bella is going to do in Castor and M&P are worried about her, but can't talk her out of it.
Castor has a Hotel room and is sprinkling rose petals everywhere. He even has Champagne, the works. He probably shoulda brought a casket too.

At the warehouse, the casino men have arrived for the merchandise/drugs. JP and buds arrest the men and get them to tell them who sent them; so they spill their guts.

Norman discovers the BulletBug as Eman calls him to ask if he knows anything about the pink cocaine. Norman doesn’t know anything, but he did advise Castor not to get into it. Eman tells Norm that this is his problem now…the feds have caught some men from the casino who were sent for the drugs. Feds are on the way to the casino.

The casino truck full of money that is on its way to the bank stops. The driver (who was threatened by Mike) jumps out right before Mike and Pene force their way in and take the truck (full of M O N E Y).

As JP and his team arrive at the casino, Bella goes into Castor’s suite but he has hightailed it outa there.

Don't change out of your outfit yet Bell, your mission is not finished.

Did Mike kidnap somebody? I think they crossed a line there. And perhaps not for the first time.

I had been thinking that "M" would have been delighted with the bullet microphone that perfectly captured conversations while totally encapsulated in non-perforated metal and transmited them long distances without being susceptible to interception. (Also good of Mom to find the right caliber.)

RGV, Mike lost his GF on a mission, and I can see how that might make him want to partially even the score of good guys vs bad guys, although it actually has nothing to do with his personal loss.

Bella has big ole glossy photographs of C&N, I assume from her home surveillance, so it makes sense they will be her first targets. She watched them kill her Father in cold blood and she arrived on the scene right after they killed her Mom. I am not certain if she knows it was them who killed her Mom or not. It really doesn't matter. If she whacks C&N for her Father, she kinda unwittingly 'KILLS two birds with one stone'.
 

I can't get over how good Esme is at playing Bella...she can go from immature to grieving to fierce and provocative with such agility. I especial liked when she was in Eman's office and he asked her what plans she had. She got very serious and told him she was going to rob C&N's casino then kill each of those who had her parent's killed one by one, but when Eman asked if she was serious, she turned on her impish smile and laugh to make him believe she wasn't serious. Such a great actress!!
 

Kirby, I don't know if Bella knows for sure it was them who killed her mother, but I did notice that when she was having her flashback after she saw Castor, it included the throat slashing. I was sure Bella had come up to the garage as the van was taking off; so how could she have seen C&N???
 

I am sure she saw the van, but I do not believe she saw who was inside, and with Maria, the only first hand witness, dead long ago, she may never know. But it is going to be hopeofully, a moot point, as you can only kill an a__hole once.

Yes, even my woofervision is allowing me to see what an extraordinary actress she is. She could have played CuteMute's part where she carried the whole character without uttering a word.

I would like to apologize to Esmerelda for underestimating her. I thought she'd do well but didn't expect her to inhabit the skin's character as she has done here. I even believe she has kept her heart, her ability to love and care despite becoming a stone cold killer.

I thought Bella's flashback showed she had seen Castor kill her mother but she wasn't there yet. A small glitch.

Thanks Diana. Emilia and JP mirror what you see in real life where one child is similar to one parent and the other similar to the other parent, even when they were raised similarly and by the same two adults.

I'm trying to remember if she ran up in time to see who it was. Double trouble for Castor.

Although I thought Bella looked fabulous, I agree about the blonde wig. I also thought it looked "unfinished" and frankly, fake.

Interesting though that in the just concluded Papa, a beloved character had blonde hair with obvious dark roots. I think it was her real hair but in either case, I didn't care for the "luke".

I kept thinking beautiful red hair might have been the better option for Bella. :)

Bella must have a cast iron stomach to be willing to let Castor get within heavy breathing distance of her. I like the blond short cut, but this is my first time seeing blond on top with black at the nape of the neck like that. I prefer Bella classy to trashy. But then I'm a hetero female, so what do I know?
 

In Amor Bravio, the villainess, who was hot, but in a trashy way, had the blonde hair with dark at the nape of the neck. It was effective on her, but on Esmeralda, with her constant fussing with the "look" it appeared especially unnatural. Anyway, the actress is lovely. Hard to make her look bad. She was even pretty earlier with Alice in Wonderland bangs and eyeglasses.
