Caray, Caray!

RVG Chick: I FINALLY get to see the preview for the next episode.
 

From Friday:
Castor goes out to see BellaCaro. She manages to put Castor off…she wants to take a bath before doing anything else. (She wants it to be a clean kill?) Bella has her own bedroom and bathroom it seems and we see her remove the Carolina wig and begin her bath time, makeup…bedtime girl routine. Guys just kick off their shoes and go to sleep. Becoming partially undressed also is an option. Surprisingly, BellaCaro does not appear to look around for hidden cameras.

In the barn, a masked Norman asks JP for the passcode to his phone. When JP refuses, Norm shoots Felipe’s leg, so JP gives him the passcode. Once the Norm unlocks the phone, he finds an image and asks JP what it signifies. We see that it is the app for the tracking device he put on Bella's luggage while the pilot had it.

Bell has had her shower and her luggage has shown up and her gun.

JP and company are having a rough time. Norm is questioning JP about the tracking device and sees that the tracking device is at Castor’s ranch. He thinks Caro works for the feds, but JP tells him she doesn’t; they were the ones that put the tracking device on her luggage.

Felipe is bleeding to death and Simon tells Norm to get him a doctor, but Norm wants to know who else knows and is in on the mission. JP tells Norm that if he gets Felipe help he’ll talk, but Norm sets the conditions, not JP; so Norm puts a gun to Felipe’s head, but Felipe tells JP not to tell them anything.

Mike and Pene arriveat Bella’s house. Mike is now swigging tequila straight from an almost empty bottle as is Pene. Both are plowed under. He has gotten her coveralls off on one side, no, wait, that is the fashion these days. Mike wants to know why Pene is so interested in what happened with his gf.

Pene heard some stories about how he killed three of the men and is curious to know if they are true. Mike replies that three of the men died as she described; the last two, he took to a cave, tied them up, poured honey all over them, and watched as the rats ate them. When his superiors found out, they didn’t charge him, but he was discharged. He hadn’t trained any women again until he trained Bella…and he hopes she doesn’t have the same fate as his gf, Lucy.

Mike wants to know about Pene and asks if she has ever been in love. Pene responds that she has had “friends’ but has never been in love. Mike thinks that’s too bad since she is such a good looking girl. Pene blushes and gets up to go to bed since they’ve both drunk too much. I thought Pene was going to kiss Mike, but she didn't …..he and half a bottle of Jose Quervo kissed her.

Castor and 8 henches are sitting around and Caro shows up looking ...well...killer? Horn dog sends henchies away for some alone time with Caro. Caro makes small talk to get info about how secure the place is. Castor tells her he has henchmen guarding the place as far as 5 kilometers away…and he offers her a drink, but, Caro needs to go to the bathroom. Norm calls as Caro stands in front of a mirror and hopeos her Uber ride can find the house.

When Norm tells Castor that there is a tracking device at his ranch, Castor thinks Caro is behind it and wants to do her in, but Norm tells him to make sure first that Caro is involved.

Felipe is about to go into shock as the other two try to get loose, as Norm has left them alone for a minute to call Castor.

Meanwhile Bella is snooping around…and looking around for a place to hide her gun.
 

After she finally hides it, Castor comes in with Henchies and THE BUG and accuses her of being the one who brought it, but Caro doesn’t even know what the device is or what it’s for. That little black dress is going to have to shrink a helluva lot to get her sweet ass out of this one.

She can't beat up Horn Toad and the whole crew. Rats, she may have to cry, but she asks castor if he really thinks that she was willing to jump out of a plane and walk for hours, just to betray him. Dammit, even the Doe Eyes didn't work. He has a couple henchies grab her while some of the Henchies go for the Pilot who is getting a bite to eat in the kitchen. Horn Dog wants to get to the bottom of the luggage bug.

Emi is robbing her piggy bank and flashbacking to when she asked Feli for money that she needs to buy stuff for the university…and he very willingly gave it to her.

Norm comes back as JP and Simon are trying to get loose. He checks Felipe who still has a pulse; then asks JP who else knows Castor’s location as he points his gun at him. When JP refuses to tell him, Norm gun whips Simon; so JP talks and tells him that only he and the other two know the location.

Bella implicates the pilot because she SURE wasn't stoopid enough to put it on the outside of her luggage. She could have hidden it in her makeup, her mascara, anywhere in her stuff. Whose side does Castor think she is on, she is about to cry, he hurt her feelings. After the pilot admits that he didn’t always have his eyes on the luggage, Castor believes her and sends the pilot away with henchies but now he is cut off for suspecting his squeee.

God, does this gal know how to be a woman! Castor tries to force himself on her and pins her to the wall since he has been waiting soooo long for this, but Caro pushes him off and calls him an ass.

She finally escapes from Horn Dog to her room to flashback to her conversation with Pene about how she is going to get out of there

Mike is passed out on the floor preparing for a headache the size of New Jersey by daybreak. Pene tries to wake him up, but not a chance…she goes and puts a pillow under his head.

Next day Caro is looooking pretty good and comes down for breakfast to a repentant HornDogCastor. She tells Lupe, the maid, to take a break and rest rather than serve them…just put it on the table because Caro wants to prepare the plate for her maaaannnn.

She serves a trembling quivering slobbering HornDog his breakfast in his Beach Boys shirt. She kissed his nose and left lipstick on it. She is being soooo nice as she looks around to check out how many henchies are around. Castor is of course, eating it up, as the misunderstanding last night is forgotten.

She coyly tells him to wipe that lipstick off his nose. Even his hair looks horny. The guy does have kids scattered all over Mexico..go figure.

Emi meets some young guy at school and asks him to lend her some money…she will pay him with whatever he wants. The guy tells her to meet him later for drinks or coffee

Norm checks in with Eman and tells him that one of the agents was the one who planted the tracking device…Caro had nothing to do with it. After Norm describes Caro, Eman says, “Oh it’s not her” but doesn’t explain who he is referring to. Norm then tells Eman that one of the agents bled to death and that one of the other agents is JP.

Eman tells him to keep the agents there until Castor finishes whatever he wants to do with the girl and moves to another location. Since the agents haven’t seen Norm’s face, he can release them afterwards.
Norm goes back in to the hideout and mockingly says that it smells like death. He unties Felipe and drags him out so he can go bury him.

She tries to swank Horn Dog into sending the henchies away so they have some privacy by the pool which is surrounded by a big tall hedge, but castor refuses.

Teresa and Gloria chatting at home. Gloria feels empty when JP is at home; so Teresa suggests that she make Emi’s favorite pasta. After Teresa leaves to go pick up Emi at the university, Gloria continues having a Bloody Mary as she keeps repeating that the pasta needs to be al dente.

Norm has left and JP is trying to get Simon to assist him getting loose. JP did it! He then unties Simon and they escape.

As Norm is dragging Fel into a truck, he hears something and suspects that JP and Simon are loose and goes to investigate, but they ambush him and take his gun. JP keeps bashing Norm and takes off his mask. One henchie shows up and is shot by Simon. After JP sees Felipe is by the truck since he bled to death, he tells Simon that he needs to go after Bella at the ranch.

Caro and HDC are walking through the landscaping followed by several henchies. Caro laugh, flirts and finally convinces Castor to get rid of some of his henchmen…three stay with Castor but they are told to keep their distance after HDC gets friendly and Caro blows up about the henchies being so close…they walk into a more secluded area.

Meanwhile, JP is speeding his way to the ranch in some car.

Fun recap Kirby and so many great observations, starting with how gals get ready for bed and how guys do it. We have our careful little routines and you just kick off your shoes, get down to your BVDs and go right to sleep. We also toss and turn and review our whole day and worry that maybe we said something that hurt somebody's feelings. Wah!

Also loved Caro looks in the mirror and wonders about her "Uber ride"

Feli. RIP...Unfortunately, this was to be expected as you cannot send boys or girls to do men and women's work. "Inexperience" for sure Jarifa. The 3 musketeers are now but a duo. Interesting that Simon is blaming JP for Feli's death.

I had to shake my head at JP wanting to rescue Bella. Dude, she will likely take care of her business and then have time left over to help you...JP has heart if not much brain power at the moment.

Still wondering who exactly JP's girlfriend is.

I enjoyed Bella's soaking in every detail - counting the criminals, processing, thinnking what she is going to do. She seduced Castro and really never even came close to kissing him (does the nose count??). Putty in her hands. She is totally fearless. Warrior princess. My hero.

The unbelievable event for me last night was Pena wiping off Mike's kiss. Yes, he was wasted but I'm sure that kiss was somethin'...Sigh.

Emi seems like a child in so many ways. The piggy bank seemed to mirror that, didn't it??

Barely slept last night. "We also toss and turn and review our whole day and worry that maybe we said something that hurt somebody's feelings" explained why that was. Thank you Judy...So, so true.

And it's hard to believe those birds are the same one!

Thanks gang, I do have some help with the Spanglish, I didn't overnight get a brain transplant.

Pene and Mike: Her wiping off his kiss makes me think she was so hoping there could be something. That is the reason she has been so insistent about his telling her his story, even going so far as the tried and true Tequila Truth Serum route.

Unfortunately she heard what she didn't want to hear, that Mike is still severely wounded and the dead girlfriend was and may still be his great love.

Pene is smart enough to know she does not want to be the recuperation girlfriend, which is almost assuredly a temporary relationship.

Maybe later Pene.

And I say to Bella, "If you got it, use it Gurl." She has him Woofing and Wagging.

"JP has heart if not much brain power." I was impressed he could get free with his hands tied above his head and hanging there. He is pretty athletic, being able to flip up like that.
 

No one wants to be the rebound romance, true. I just felt Pena could have savored the kiss a bit more. Just sayin' :)

And while JP does have some brawn, it kind of pales in comparison to Mike.

Oh YESSSS They always show a teaser of the next night's show on my station, but I did not know if everyone was getting the same.

As 'Gringo' used to say, I agree Diana: Must See TV.

I have to admit, this show is spellbinding. Many of these shows we watch are just so unbelievable or poorly thought out that it is hard to stay interested. Not this one. It has it's minor flaws, but Esmeralda is mesmerizing. All my woofing aside, she has made a believer out of me.

They left us wondering how badly Norman is hurt. It was pretty obvious Norman was just knocked out, but far from dead. I an uncertain which of them is more detestable Castor or Norman. I suppose that shows us the good side of JP in that given what Norman had done to them, including poor Felipe, JP didn't whack him right there.

And a correction above, Gloria is saying, I think, how the house feels so empty when JP is NOT there. Sorry
 

Steve: Yeah, RIP Felipe. On the bright side, if Emi owes him money she can forgettaboutit.

But if Pene IS interested, or thought she was in Marvelous Mike, hasn't she had at least the past five years to decide and to get his backstory out of him? We saw both of them right around the time Bella first showed up at the Fester Home.

In a normal TN five years is enough time for Pene to marry him, have a kid, divorce him, find somebody else and then realize she still Luuuurves Marvelous.
 

I’ve been waiting for someone to step up to the plate and recap this marvelous dark novels. Today I checked. I jumped for joy when I saw there was a recap. I would like this TN a lot more if the good guys were actually good at what they are doing, rather than always depending on luck. We saw last night that you can't always count on luck, and even with luck chance favors the prepared. JP's F Troop must have really caught up on their sleep those five years or so of training.

I was beginning to think that Norman was not such a bad guy, other than being a ruthless killer, since he seemed to like and watch out for, and even stick up for, his buddy Castor. But no, not nice at all.

I came across Caray Caray totally by accident a while back. Although not a TN watcher at the time, I read the recap (don't even remember which TN it was) and the lively commentary. I kept coming back solely to read Kirby's hiker hilarious comments, including some referring to the "comment police." LOL ... THEN I started to watch TNs, but only those that are recapped. And now Kirby is recapping? Fugeddaboutit ... I am not missing any of this!

Anyhoo, I just can't believe Bella is on Nestor's island with absolutely no backup, while Pena and Mike get wasted. She needs to add a techie guy/gal like Q to her team.

The writers have made Castor such a zany villain. All this character development, just to bump him off? Never mind. They did it to Armando, so they can do it to him too.

Did you guys notice when Norman called Emanuel for instructions, something came up about 'the girl', and Emanuel said something to the effect of 'OK, it's not her.', thinking it might be Bella who was there, and was relieved to hear that it was just Carolina? Ha. Thankfully he does not know they are the same.

Hopeofully, they'll get smarter with experience. The death of a partner should motivate them to think and strategize before starting on a mission....which JP seems not to be doing since he is going to go rescue his damsel who is probably not so much in distress as he is.

Steve, thanks for the updated body count. By the looks of things, the body count will get quite high by the time this TN is over.

NiNa, JP's mom did agree to stop drinking after he graduated...but he's still waiting for that to happen.

Episode 11, Part 1: Leap, Frog! …and Die!

JP calls Ric and tells him that Felipe is dead. Ric can’t believe it…Felipe was of the best in the graduating group. When he tells JP that he and Simón better get back to the agency, JP tells him that he needs to go after Castor at his ranch so Felipe’s death won’t be in vain...he has the exact coordinates, but he will need help from the Marines.

The maid offers Castor and Caro drinks as Caro cases out her surroundings and spots a wooden bridge. When Castor offers her a drink and asks why she is so quiet, she tells him that she is thinking of her father. Castor proposes a toast to fathers.

JP is driving madder that MadMax as he looks for the ranch.

After Simón drags Felipe’s body into the truck and closes the doors, he hears someone arrive; so he goes to hide.

Emi is at a bar drunk as a skunk when the slimy guy who will lend her money arrives and invites her to his place where he has the money. Emi invites her other friends to go with them, but slimy guy motions to them to refuse.

As Norman wakes up, his henchies arrive and help him up as he yells at them to go find JP and Simón.

As Castor and Caro walk on the wooden bridge, Caro tells him she would really like to take a swim, but there are too many of his people there. Castor tells her his henchies have seen women in bikinis, but Caro tells him she wants to go in naaaked. Castor quickly runs off his henchies anticipating to see Caro in her birthday suit. Caro then takes off her wig and tells Castor that her name isn’t Carolina. Castor realizes she’s Bella and reaches for his gun, but Bella reminds him he left it at the ranch. Bella thinks Castor is skeered, but Castor doesn’t think she can do anything because she doesn’t have a gun either. He is even glad she is there so he can finish killing the rest of the Leon family. Bella asks about María.

Slimy guy takes Emi upstairs to his bedroom.

Norman calls to the ranch and Sofía, the maid, tells him that Castor is out talking a walk with his lady. Norman orders her to go tell Castor that the Feds are on the way!

JP is skidding around looking for the ranch and gets stuck in the mud, so he leaves the truck and starts running to the ranch.

Castor tells Bella that María is dead. When Bella asks where her body is, Cas tells her he doesn’t know and wouldn’t tell her even if he knew. Cass strikes at Bella, but totally misses (Strike 1). He strikes again and misses...again (Strike 2). Bella doesn’t wait for Strike 3…she grabs him and throws him off the bridge and he goes hurling down to muddy the waters. Meanwhile, Sofía and a henchie are running through the woods calling out for their boss.

 

Episode 11, Part 2: Leap, Frog! …and Die!

In CDMX, JP’s mom is all happy and dancing a jig when Teresa comes back and tells her Emi isn’t going to the university. Teresa talked to some of Emi’s friends and the director of the school; Emi has never enrolled. JP’s mom can’t believe her drunken ears.

Slimy guy and Emi are in his bedroom. He tells her to lie down while he goes to get the money. After she obliges, Slimy guy gets all over her; so she knees him and he cries out in pain. Emi runs off.

Cas crawls out of the river; so Bella grabs his head as he tells her that he was only following orders. Bella shows no mercy and plunges his head into the water until he is dead meat…horny toad no longer horny, but he’ll be meeting his horned maker.

Sofía and the henchie are still running through the woods when the Marines surround them. Meanwhile, Norman gathers his own troop of henchies and goes to look for Cas.

JP is running through the woods as he calls Simón and tells him he is already at the ranch. Simón warns him that Norman is on the way with his henchies. JP insists that he will find Bella.

Norman is now alone looking for Cas when Bella spots him and tries to hide, but he finds her and knocks her out with the rifle butt.

Somewhere on the ranch, more Marine reinforcements arrive in a helicopter. Norman’s henchie team watches as Sofía and her henchie are taken to the helicopter. The henchies open fire, but are overtaken by the Marines.

Norm goes to the entrance of a tunnel as he carries a knocked out Bella. Meanwhile, JP finds Cas and calls Ric to tell him that Cas is dead. When Ric accuses JP of killing Cas, JP tells him he didn’t do it…but Bella is somewhere there at the ranch; though he doesn’t know exactly where.

Norman is in the tunnel with Bella who is still unconscious. He is frantic and doesn’t know what to do. Eman keeps calling him, but he refuses to answer. Eman then calls Bella, but only gets her voicemail.

Norman ties Bella’s hands. He doesn’t think to tie her feet….BIG mistake but we’re happy :-)

At the gym, Pene is finally worried because Bella isn’t answering her phone and they haven’t heard from her; she thinks something is wrong. Mike responds that he warned Bella and offered to go with her, but she was stubborn. After Pene worries some more, Mike wonders if he did something he shouldn’t have done the night before; so Pene assures him that it was just a good night between friends.

Norm is still stinking up his pants as he tries to figure out what to do.
 

Episode 11, Part 3: Leap, Frog! …and Die!

At CDMX, Emi gets home and gets grilled by her mom who is also threatening to go with her to the university the next day.

JP is at the ranch questioning Sofía. She spills her guts and tells them that she thinks Cas and his lady probably escaped through the tunnel. She even tells them more or less where the tunnel is. Just then, one of the Marines gets a call for help elsewhere; so JP tells them to go ahead and leave. JP will go look for Bella himself. He then has a flashback of Bella telling him that she will go after the beasts by being a beast.

Ric goes to Eman’s office to tell him that JP followed a lead to Culiacan and that Cas is dead, but they don’t know how it happened. After Ric tells Eman that one of there own is also dead, he tells Eman that Bella is also at the ranch.

Emi is having a hissy fit because her mom doesn’t trust her and wants to go with her to the university. When her mom tells her that she is going to go talk to the director while she goes to class, Emi fesses up and tells her she isn’t enrolled.

In the tunnel, Bella wakes up. When Norman proudly states that he is Norman, Bella recalls how it was he who shot her father. Norm tells her it was just a job that he had to do. When he asks for Cas, Bella tells him Cas is dead and that Norm will be next, but Norm doesn’t believe her; so Bella tells him exactly how she killed Cas. Norm is furious and tells Bella to shut up as he points his gun at her, so Bella dares him to “Kill me! Kill me like you killed my father!” Norm then says that Cas was right; it is the family that is the worst at seeking vengeance. Throughout this, Bella works at getting her hands free.

Eman goes to the gym and wants to know whose idea it was to send Bella to the ranch. When he continues to yell at Pene, Mike grabs him and pins him against the wall, but when Pene tells Mike that Eman is Bella’s godfather, Mike lets him go (Crudsicles, he didn’t even get to punch him once!). Eman then tells them that Cas is dead and no one knows where Bella is. If something happens to Bella, it will be their fault. Before Eman leaves, he points his gun at Mike and tells him that if he ever puts his hands on him again, Mike will suffer the consequences.

JP’s mom continues to grill Emi about what she has been doing all this time that she was supposed to be going to the university…what has she been up to? Emi cries that they wanted to force her to go to the university when she had no interest in it...or the brains for it. The mom then tells her she will have to return all the money they gave her to pay for the classes…and she will have to tell JP the truth. Emi pleads with her mom and promises to enroll the next semester.

Bella stands up and keeps telling Norman that Cas is dead, but Norman still doesn’t want to believe it and is crouching in anger as she grabs a big rock and hits him with it. Norm goes down; so Bella get on him and punches his lights halfway out. As she runs away, Norman struggles to get up and follow her.

JP is still searching for the tunnel and finds the entrance…he goes in. Meanwhile, Norman is chasing after Bella who ran up some stairs and tells her he is going to kill her. JP is running through the tunnel in search of Bella. Bella sees some doors and finds one that opens to the dining room (what a coincidence!) where she hid the gun. As Norm approaches the doorway, Bella SHOOOTS!! Norm goes down, but is still alive. JP makes his way up the stairs. When he sees Bella and Norman, he asks her if she is ok.

At the gym. Pene thinks they should have told Eman the truth, but Mike, who is typing away at his computer, thinks there is no need to tell him anything. Pene still wonders why Bella hasn’t returned if she already killed Cas. Mike is still unusually calm and reminds Pene that Bella is well-trained…all she has to do is find her way out of there and come home.

At the ranch, JP tells Bella to put down the gun as Norman clamors in pain…to be continued mañana…

So now it looks like Bela has dispatched the Beave to that big beaver dam in the sky, I hope Norman is following soon. Bela has proven herself to be quite efficient. My favorite part was the reveal when she whipped off her wig and The Beave recognized her.

Boy I admire anybody who can watch this without knowing what's coming. I get nervous just watching even when I've read the recap, and knows Bela gets out okay. Thanks Rgv Chick. You and Kirby make a great team. Separated at birth maybe?

I was on the edge of my seat last night. I know I'm sounding a bit bloodthirsty, but Castor got off far too easily. No boiling oil? No slicing and dicing? I hope his punishment is more severe in the next world. Harold writhing in pain did nothing to make me feel the slightest bit sorry for him. He died trapped like the rat he is.

When Bella was bringing Castro closer to hell, I thought she was driven by pure revenge. I think her face mirrored what she was doing was wrong (and not easy for her), but she did what she had to do. Kudos to Esmerelda.

JP rose a few notches higher in my estimation. He showed no fear but much resolve.

Mike seemed to have total confidence in Bella - his training paid off well.

I hope Mike and Pene get together. She needs to get rid of the Princess Leia topnots on her head though. Pronto. Not a good luke.

Judy, I'm fairly certain Castor is dead. If he wasn't, I suspect he would have gotten up before JP found him...

So does Eman have any genuine feelings for Bella or is he going to want her dead asap?

Wowzers what an episode, and what a recap RGV you were on fire with this one. I don't miss anything visually, but I miss some of the dialog. Thank you thank you thank you. Man, Bella is tough. When Horn Toad came running toward her on that bridge and she actually FOUGHT him there, he looked completely harmless, without a gun. The roundhouse, haymakers missed by a mile. Bella looked like a Junior High bully beating up a fat kid.

I was hoping Bella would get it out of Castor who he worked for, and Eman would be exposed, but oh well.
They will probably not let her find out that until much later. I am concerned that Eman now knows Bella is on her mission. He should be concerned at how successful her first time dipping her toe into the water has been.

Bella rocks.

When Lawyers in Heat came on my stomach was in knots. While Bella was daring Norman to kill her too, I could feel my hands secretly struggling along with her tiny ones to free themselves of that rope.

Ole JP didn't get to actually dive in and save Bella per se, she handled that just fine on a case by case basis, but calling in the Marines saved Bella from being mobbed by Henchmen eventually. He gets points.
 

About the Beave: I thought when Bella finished him off she left him face down in the muddy water, but when JP found him his upper torso was partially up on the bank.

Also I hopeo we do not have to endure seeing Bella in a bout of regret over having killed dispatched two rats. Or having frigging nightmares or something.

Get her an Orkin uniform and let the girl work.

I have to say, it was handy those softball sized ROCKS within reach.

Stoooopid Castor and Norman both were totally unprepared for what got hold of them. C&N were not on the official Beasts list, they were just the actual killers.

There were originally 8 Beasts, 6 men, 2 women. Eman is the eighth beast, and Armie is now chatting with Castor and Norman about his bill.

So that leaves four men and two women. I wish I had a list but I don't. I'll work on it.

I am wondering what it will look like when the women's turn with Bella comes up.

And are Mike and Pene going to ever be allowed to play too?

What a thrilling episode! I was looking at the clock and was afraid they would end the episode on a cliffhanger, like when Bela was struggling to get past the stuck door. But could breathe a sigh of relief at the last minute.

Why Bela, when she was on top of Norman, started running away? I hoped she would knock him enough, take his gun and be done with it. Also, when JP jumped out of the tunnel in front of Bela, I thought she would shoot him. Imagine, after just shooting one enemy, another guy jumps out with the gun.
 

We didn't see Norman die. He was injured and breathing heavily, but not dead.

It is possible someone might come to his rescue but if he did survive all those bullets, he really is Lex Luthor.

I believe Beast 3 is the Blonde, and the Brunette is of course is number five, from what I can tell by looking at pictures.
 

I wondered about Norman too when I talked about settling up their bill with Army, assuming with medical help not nearby, and Bella emptied the clip in him only meters away, that he was making a trip to join Castor and Arm.

Bella has not gone psycho on us yet, torturing them, I wonder how she resists? Or is it just that she didn't have time to give them a proper farewell.

What would have made Cas's killing more of a clincher would be if Bella had slashed his throat just as her mother's throat had been slashed...but I'm still satisfied that he is dead.

I actually think abNormal is going to die quite soon, but I think JP is going to do something to take some of the responsibility for it.

Another thing that didn't quite make sense was the role reversal between Mike and Pene. When Bella first left, Pene was the one who wasn't worried at all about Bella and Mike was worried sick. After the hangover, their thinking changed...Pene worried and Mike was quite lackadaisical about it.

This show is soo good, it is distracting me from my original purpose of ogling Esmeralda.

There have been many opportunities already thus far, and she is droolable, but it is hard to concentrate when you are trying to remember how many bullets she has left in the clip.

The whole scene on the wooden bridge was great. I've been wondering if Bella would be killing each beast basically the same way, with a gun. The bridge flip and drowning was totally unexpected.

I am puzzled how Bella's dress held up though.

Yeah, Steve that is what I have been thinking too. I had no trouble imagining Bella shooting or beating to death Castor and AbNormal, but with the two women it will be a different kind of fight. For one thing, these beasts 3 and 5 will not be possibly twice her size, though that has not slowed SuperBella down much thus far.

I know I'm messed up, but there is just something about seeing her go after another woman that changes the whole dynamic.

Niecie, in real life I've seen some beautiful women with cornrows that were amazing. Some women however, just can't pull them off. I think you need maturity and a certain look. Lili in Papa couldn't pull them off and neither can Pena. Even Bo Derek couldn't. :)

Diana, I think you’re right. Bella isn’t thinking of herself at all. All she wants is to avenge her parents death and doesn’t care if she gets killed. Remember that, after the funeral, she told Eman that everything that was important to her was gone so she didn’t care if they killed her. That is probably why she dared Norman to kill her. Just realized, she’s Charles Bronson reincarnated...DEATH WISH!!
 

Ah now you're talking Rgv Chick. Charles Bronson is a big fave. Though I didn't see Death Wish. But saw a very scary movie in France which would have translated as Passenger in the Rain. Could give you nightmares for sure, but Bronson was great.

We left off yesterday with Bella and Horn Toad strolling on a Long High suspension bridge. In a tender moment Bella flashes her chest at Horn Toad and he feels so froggy he hops off the bridge into the river below. Splat !

AbNormal, his sidekick, is so mad now that they will be one hand short at Monday night Pinochle that he rifle butts Bella and drags her into his cave and ties her up.

Bella gets loose and Cocoanuts AbNormal with a fifty pound rock and escapes through tunnels back to the main house to find her pistol. Which she finds just as AbNormal finds her and she shoots him full of holes. Thankfully JP arives just in the nick of time to offer her some of his spare bullets, as AbNormal is down but not dead.

Tonight:
They load a wounded but walking AbNorm into a copter as Bella looks on. Walking? WTF is this guy made of?

Bella and JP are in the airport now as he questions her about what happened; he thinks she killed Horntoad. Belle tells him that she only beat him up; she doesn’t know how he died. JP may as well be talking to her cave rock from earlier.

Ric fills Eman in on the fate of Castor and AbNormal. Eman feigns shock about his precious Bella.
But he is more shocked, it seems that Norm is captured, A L I V E. Ruh Roh

JP tries to tell Bella to let the Feds handle this, and Bella tells him, in essence well, I did what you guys couldn't. JP tells her to think about what she did or didn’t do and wonders if she wants to die. He asks her to consider if it’s worth it.

Ric and Eman are in the morgue with Felipe, zipping up the body bag as Eman tries to pick Ric's brain about how much they found out and how the investigation is going. They then go to Horntoad’s body. After Eman asks Ric if his men killed him, Ric tells him that JP found him dead; he drowned but was beat up first. Ric reminds Eman that Bella had identified C&N as the murders of her parents; and Ric vows that he won’t rest until Norm tells him who was behind the Leon murders. Eman are your ears burning? Do you know a fellow named Norman?

Eman and Ric meet Bella and JP at the airport. They are questioning and getting after Bella for going off on her own. Ric asks Bella if she knows who killed Castor; Bella says, “Yes.” That's all she says, too.

Eman calls the hospital in Sinaloa to ask about Norman, but Col. Marroquin will not give him any info because he can’t confirm that Eman is really who he says he is.

Bella is back home with Mike and Pene and tells them about her mission. She tells them about how Eman and Ric, mostly Eman chewed her out at the airport. Pene still has her cat in heat ears while Bella recalls how she told Eman and Ric that Norman killed Castor because Norm wanted all the casino money for himself. Um...OK. works for me. Another essential skill she is honing, a skillful liar.

JP is back home with Mom, Teresa and Emi. He tells them about Felipe. Emi is really torn up about it, surprisingly.
 

JP apologizes for getting him involved in this and killed. He is explaining the whole mess how Norm shot Feli and let him bleed to death. Emi is furious that all this was Isabela’s fault. Teresa is taking all this in stoicly.

Meanwhile Bella goes to the batcave and has a mini breakdown thinking about what she has just been through, and what lies ahead as she looks at her BeastBoard.

Eman is at Bella's door as she sees him on camera from the batcave. She gains her composure enough to answer the door. Eman blows in in a fit of rage, supposedly because he is so worried about her. But we know the real reason he is so pissed. He has to train another pair of Henchmen/killers if nobody responds to his Craigslist ad soon. HR is no friggin help.

Junior, son of Castor, is in some bar talking to a taaalll blonde girl (maybe?) but little toad strikes out. Then Ric calls him to tell him his dad Castor has been killed.

Eman continues to read the riot act to Bella. He tells Bella that if Norman dies, she might be charged. Bella tells him that C&N stated that they were following orders from a group of persons. There is a standoff to say the least.

JP is delivering the eulogy at Felipe's funeral. Emi is still bawling her eyes out. Is it for real? JP now knows Feli was dating his Sis, but did she really luuurve him or is she crying because she lost her Felibank???

Mike is giving Bella a world class workout with gloves on in the boxing ring. He tells her that she needs to focus. Bella is distracted because she is thinking of Felipe, JP’s friend who was killed…she knows his family is suffering. Mike tells her that if she wants to continue this game, she needs to be cold about it; or she can follow her godfather’s advice and let everything go to pot. Bella spars with Mike with a vengeance. Pene looks on, purrs, and licks her fur.

The colonel checks on Norm in the hospital in Sinaloa. He sees that Norm has regained consciousness. As the colonel leaves, Norm looks down and sees that he is handcuffed.

Bella visits Ric at his office. He wants to know why she was at the ranch. Let us handle it. Bella reminds him he had made zero progress in five years…compared to her beating up one of the killers. Does he think that she is worse than the killers?

Junior, Castor's son is on the phone with Norm as the guard Marine holds the phone for Norm. Junior snarls that he knows Norm killed his father, but Norm reminds him of the girl his father sent him to kill and the note she sent back with him…she is the one who killed his father. Oh Noes....

Eman is thinking about Bella mentioning the group of people who were behind her parent’s death as Ric calls him to tell him that Norm is awake.

Emi is sorry for blaming JP for Felipe's death, but she still thinks Bella is responsible. JP emphasizes that C&N killed Felipe. He explains that Police work is dangerous work to deaf ears. Emi cries so JP tells her she is strong and he is proud of her. Emi can’t take it and asks him why he loves her so much…she confesses that she never went to the university and wonders if he is still proud of her. Gloria thinks how much tequila that tuition would have bought.
 

Castor's son Junior is in the airplane with the formerly Castor's pilot. They now plan to go kill Bella as revenge for killing Castor since Norman told Junior what happened.

JP and Emi have a heart-to-heart, but end up arguing because Emi thinks JP doesn’t understand or listen to her…she just doesn’t want to go to the university. When JP insinuates that he doesn’t want her ending up like their father, Emi tells him to get out. Too late again JP.

JP comes to the house looking for Bella, but she is visiting Maria's parents.

Eman goes to see Norm, but there are three armed Marines guarding him. They take his weapon and let him in for 5 min only. He has a heated talk with Norm telling him how stupid he was and that he could spend years in jail, but since Eman takes care of his people, he will make sure Norm doesn’t set foot in a jail.

Norm tells Eman that Bella threatened to go after all those responsible for her parent’s death, but Eman still doesn’t want Norm to mess with Bella…even when Norm tells him that Bella killed Horntoad. Eman tells Norm not to do anything until he hears from him. Yeah...don't leave because you would be carrying that bed and three Marines with you.

So Junior toad is now planning to avenge his father’s death??? Has he forgotten how Bella whipped his ass?

Hmmm, Eman assured Norm that he would never step foot in jail...I’m wondering if Eman will make sure Norm never steps foot ANYWHERE.

For a show without an "official" recap, this TN is getting covered splendidly.

Norman is quite a character. It seems he really was Castor's buddy, a bff. AND he can take a bullet, or two, and come back strong. He looked good getting into the helicopter, actually better than he did after the doctors fixed him up some. In any case he made a wise decision when it came to his career and found an employer who will look after him and make sure he doesn't have to go to jail...

So the smart marine just holds the phone to Normie's ears and let's him go into detail about Bella killing the Beave? He's obviously under arrest, so was that his one phone call? Or are things different in the military? Shouldn't a high profile criminal like that be kept incommunicado except for his attorney?

Boy, Jarifa, I couldn't agree more. I CAN'T STAND EMILIA. Her screeching voice, her pouts, her slimy way of life, what a waste of oxygen. I think I liked Castor more than Emilia. At least he had some funny lines.

Castor Jr. is a strange little person (I actually watched part of this last night while keeping our ailing cat company) and I'm hoping he'll continue to be as unsuccessful eliminating Bela as he was trying to pick up that blonde last night. What a dweeb! Norman on the other hand is strangely dangerous. Not sure that Eman will eliminate him so easily.

And Jarifa, I think Emi is annoying all of the time. Period. She's scowling, complaining or crying. Not much versitility.

Anon, Norman's phone call puzzled me too. Was Harold entitled to make to make the call? Wasn't it information that should have sent the marine scurrying?

Oh I was also surprised that Bella went and told Rodrigo and Alicia that she went to try to do what the law hasn't been able to do. Alicia seemed quite upset about that.

Steve, I am beginning to wonder who we CAN trust. Even our sweet Bella has turned into a very accomplished LIAR when it suits her purposes.

I understand if the wrong person asks Bella: "Did you kill Castor?" she can't just blurt out, "Well, yeah, he killed my Pa so I killed him. What's a girl to do?" But to JP too?

I can not figure Ricardo out. On the surface he seems OK, but something is just 'off'.
And who can know why Emanuel is telling Norman not to harm Bella, knowing now that she is actually on her killing spree. Unless he is 'interested.' interested in her. Then she needs to kill him, but only after she has used up as much protection from him as is available.
