Mi marido tiene más familia Thursday 1/10/19 Capítulo 84 Nonno Makes an Impression--OR--"Tamoles!"
Ignacio has not been making his child support payments. Imelda offers him a job as her mulitpurpose gofer replacing Amalia and it looks like her driver.
Susana gives everyone the afternoon off at work so they can spend the time with their loved ones.
Linda, Frida and Dani are eating lunch. They are having TAMOLES (not tamales) with Doña María mole sauce. They are so delicious!
Ari brings home a turkey he bought with his pay. It will fill all of the Tuppers.
Diego happily announces that he and Temo are novios. Everyone is shocked.

Move over, Bimbo, Doña María mole sauce is here again. Yes!!! I have Doña María mole sauce sitting on my kitchen shelf as I write. In an earlier episode they made "molequiles" (chilaquiles with mole). This just made me laugh.
I like when they include holidays in novelas. This looks like it could be fun with with the Day of the Dead.
Interesting about the triplets. "There is a video chat with Robert. He sees the triplets as a result of fertility treatments." So Dani was also undergoing treatment?
Gabriel and Dani attend their first childbirth class. And had a lot of fun there, too. I was delighted to see the lively instructor bouncing around a bit. About time we got a little eye candy :-)
more later...

Loved “TAMOLES (not tamales)” and "dead bread" (pan de muertos). You have such flair and style. Day of the Dead is seeming rather festive, isn’t it?
It seems the story is transitioning before our eyes. I’m a bit nervous Blanca is taking off. I hope she isn’t lost in New York too! It seems the “old gang” is fracturing as we speak and hope there aren’t many more “losses” with so much more story to go.
“Nonno meets Crisanta”. I would swear I saw little hearts fluttering away? And is it just me but Guido seems a bit odd? I can’t put my finger on it.
It was nice to see self-involved Linda actually caring about little Gabi, someone other than herself. And to see Susana trying to get help for Eugenio. “Susana gives everyone the afternoon off at work so they can spend the time with their loved ones”. Someone who thinks of others before herself.
andy, I blinked at Robert's comment too (once Jarifa explained it of course). :) I guess my sense of timing is way off unless that treatment worked mighty quick!
So has Ignacio’s well (the woman he left his wife for) dried up? I was a bit surprised Imelda offered him the job but he is sweet Frieda’s father.
Watching Diego and Temo was painful. It is obvious Temo does not reciprocate Diego’s feelings. He is trying to do the right thing but ultimately, doing the wrong thing.
Thank you Jarifa!
Diana
Muchas gracias amiga mia.
Dani should be around 2 - 3 months pregnant right now. If Dani was getting fertility treatment, that is likely why she has triplets. Of course, triplets happened before such treatments, but rarely. Good thing she won't be the next OctoMom. La Familia Córcega would have no way to cope, especially with Eugenio's declining cognitive problems.
Andy - Most women with multiples rarely make it the full nine months, sometimes even with twins. There is just not enough room for the babies. The ones I've known will go into labor two to three weeks before their due date.
Eugenio holding back on telling Blanca, due to her trip to NYC, now makes sense. Good call, Eugenio.
re: Eugenio's Alzheimer's, I hate to see that is the diagnoses instead of dementia (there is a difference). A couple in our Sunday School Class went through this, the wife was diagnosed at approx. 55 yrs old with "early onset Alzheimer's". We learned they do not live as long, usually 8-10 years. She was a classic textbook case, and her disease progressed exactly on the time schedule the specialist doctors said she would. In the end, she had to be in a full time memory care facility where she could be properly cared for, often became violent in the final stages, and died at 63 y/o. It was just awful, as she was a most delightful person with a fantastic sense of humor. I hate this disease.
JudyB, who panics when she can't find her keys (but at least knows what they are used for)
doris, the loss of your friend must have been very painful. I'm so sorry.
I can hardly think of a worse fate. Knowing what will happen to you and then having to live through it - unbearable. The most frightening thing to me is the self realization as things continue to deteriorate. We don't really know if people aren't aware when things are happening, my fear is that they have lucid moments where the harsh reality hits. And of course, the family. How terrible for them. "Cruel process" is right Judy.
Diana
Sure hope that Heaven is a "happy ending".
Diana, ITA that Guido is a “bit odd”. Nonno, flirt that he may be, seems so normal as well as Gabriel and his sisters when compared to him.
doris, I thought that was very thoughtful of Eugenio no to tell Blanca on one hand but if I were Blanca I would be mad as heck when I found out.
JudyB, I am too lazy to make mole from scratch. You can buy Doña María as a paste or ALREADY 🙂 diluted in a little carton. I prefer the latter and use it as a sauce to dress up chicken, turkey or even cheese quesadillas. I love all kinds of sauces to give the same old same old a new twist.
Love that Dani is having triplets...can't wait to see how Dani and Gabe handle that.
Diana, I saw those little hearts fluttering around to...not just with Crisanta, but also with Imelda. Goodness, I hope they don't have these two fighting over the same man...AGAIN!
Alzheimer's is horrible and devastating to the afflicted person as well as the family members. No one in my family has had it, thank God, but I have friends whose parents died of it...and it was so sad to hear what they went through.
RgvChick, it sure looks like we are heading into a “Canuto like” situation. Too bad the two women just can’t be civil to each other.
I was telling a friend about Carlos the other day when I was giving her my "medical advice". He always teased me and called me Dr. Judy, knowing full well that I was very opinionated on all matters medical (with NO MEDICAL DEGREE WHATSOEVER!) So many wonderful friends on CarayCaray who are no longer with us. But if Amar a Muerte is true, Carlos may be around now in another body. For his sake, I hope it's some great looking guy who can play lights out basketball.
Egads RgvChick!!! Could it be I have selective vision??? I totally missed the Imelda flirtation. God is merciful :)
Yes, please, no fighting over the same dude Parte Deux. Ack. Blech. :)
Susanlynn, Judy is a jewel with a multitude of brilliant facets. I couldn't agree more!
