Caray, Caray!

Kemal confronts Tariq, who through heavy tears confesses that he murdered Karen by accident. Kemal wants him to go to the police, but Tariq is afraid. Kemal can’t believe that his brother could hurt anyone, much less kill them. He remembered that Tariq was always defending him against bullies when he was young. When walking alone in the night, Kemal is having flashbacks and soon finds himself walking into the police station with the bloodstained shirt. He’s ready to report on his brother.

Kemal looks for Tariq at the Soydere home. Tariq, with his hands on both parents, refuses to go with him. Kemal says they need to go, Tariq asks if he’s going to report him to the police. The parents immediately get alarmed. The police soon show up at the gate. Tariq can’t believe his brother brought the police. Hussein asks what’s happening, and Kemal responds that Tariq accidentally killed someone. Tariq grabs the collar of Kemal’s shirt and tells him he should be ashamed of himself: from now on he has no brother. He enters the home to get ready.

The main servant lets Nihan know that Zeynep has been asking all the staff questions regarding her marriage with Emir. Nihan lets her know that she will pretend not to know that Zeynep is investigating. Since they’re family now, she can’t do anything. The servant leaves, dissatisfied.

Zeynep is in the kitchen asking someone from the kitchen about Nihan and Emir’s wedding and their relationship. This lady does not give much information, but Zeynep continues to ask. The lady tells her that Vildan does not like it when the servants speak to her while they are working, and much less about private matters. Out of earshot, Zeynep makes a comment on the lady’s cold demeanor.

Kemal is driving his parents to the precinct. Hussein asks if Kemal saw Tariq commit the murder: “Did you see him pull the trigger?”He says no, but That Tariq confessed to him earlier. Fehime repeats the question again, in disbelief.

At the precinct, Hussein asks Tariq if everything Kemal told them is true. Tariq blatantly lies. Fehime thanks god that he didn’t murder anyone, while Hussein seems to have some doubt. The police take Tariq and allow him to make a phone call. The ever idiot calls Emir for help. Emir feigns surprise and tells him to calm down, get a lawyer and not say anything. When he hanged up, Emir proclaims that Kemal has surprised him by choosing the difficult path. He calls Tufan, making further plans.
 

Tariq is turning his parents against Kemal. They ask Kemal if he’s the one who reported Tariq to the police. He turns it on Tariq and tells him to answer them, but Tariq spins his web and claims that Kemal resents him so much he’s trying to defame him.

Hussein demands to know why Kemal is defaming Tariq. He believes it’s unfair that Kemal reported Tariq because he wasn’t even a witness to that. Kemal tells him that Tariq confesses it all, but Hussein continues to defend Tariq and says hat perhaps Tariq was pressured to say stupid things. Kemal can’t believe what he’s hearing and tells him that he did the correct thing, what he was taught by his father. He doesn’t regret it.

Nihan confronts her sister in law about the snooping. Zeynep claims she won’t do it again. Nihan then confronts her about her obsession with Emir and the fact that she does not love Ozan: “Take care of my brother, stop thinking about Emir.” Zeynep continues to say that she married Ozan anyway, what more proof does she need. Vildan overhears and tells Zeynep she would kick her out of the home if she finds out the marriage is a lie. Zeynep maintains her arrogant face and can barely show her fake love for Ozan. Emir comes in and tells everyone that Tariq was arrested. Zeynep requests to go with Emir to the precinct, and Nihan volunteers to go with them as well.

Leyla calls Kemal, but he rejects the call. He sends her a message instead, without revealing why he’s so busy. Leyla looks past the window and sees Onder gardening. She goes out to greet him, asks what he’s up to. He verified that he’s doing a project for Kemal, planting Narcisus flowers, Leyla’s favorite. Onder wishes that Leyla could forgive him, but she doesn’t want to. He’s surprised she didn’t trash the flowers right hen and there, but Leyla says she wouldn’t destroy the flowers to get back at him. She clarifies she’s not doing that for him, though, but rather for the flowers.

In the car Nihan clarifies to Emir that she’s only offering Zeynep support. Emir asks if she’s sure, or if Nihan really is concerned for Kemal. Zeynep gets offended and lets them know she knows what they’re talking about. Emir laughs and lets her know he makes her laugh because rather than be worried about her brother, she’s more concerned about deciphering his marriage.

Kemal meets with Zehir outside of the precinct. He’s asking how everything is going, and offers him some consolation: he knows that Kemal would not be able to harbor his brother’s secret. Kemal tells him that everyone thinks he’s a traitor, but Zehir tells him again he did the right thing: the truth doesn’t please everyone and no matter what someone will always be displeased. Kemal gets upset that Emir manipulated his brother and managed to make his family fall apart and hate him. Zehir continues to support Kemal and tells him he’s better than this. They see Emir pulling in with Nihan and Zeynep.

Friday:

Kemal confronts Emir. He lets him know he will pay for manipulating Tariq, with an eye for an eye. Emir is unfazed.

Zeynep finds her parents and hugs her mother, who doesn’t push her away. Hussein refuses to acknowledge her presence to the point he blatantly ignores her when she speaks to him. Both parents get aggravated upon seeing Nihan and Emir. Fehime doesn’t want Nihan to be there and Hussein barely acknowledged Emir when he presented himself to him. Emir let him know that he’s on their side and Tufan shows up with the lawyer.

Kemal is with Zehir in his car, watching the residence where Emir’s mother is located. Kemal tells him that Emir will pay for everything with his mother. He sends Zehir to follow the doctor, and he calls Salih, asking him to find a death certificate for Mujan Kozcouglu.

Tariq is speaking to his lawyer and suddenly realized that Banu betrayed him by handing over the shirt. The lawyer tells him to stop thinking about the shirt and simply say that he didn’t do anything.

Banu is worried for Tariq’s safety and calls Emir. He tells her to relax because nothing will happen to Tariq unless he wants it. It turns out Emir switched the shirts and Tariq’s bloodstained shirt at the precinct does not contain Karen’s blood. Instead, it contains a man’s blood from when Tariq had separated a fight sometime before. Emir’s plan is for Kemal to lose the support of his entire family.

Vildan confronts Ozan about Zeynep, but he’s not having it. He gets upset when he finds out that Zeynep is at the precinct and gets up from his meal. Vildan asks Efsame about her friend Sema. She wants to speak to her.

Tariq is being transferred. Outside the precinct he sees Kemal and calls him a liar, a defamer. Emir stands by his car with Nihan, relishing the moment. Kemal is starting to look anxious about Tariq’s refusal to accept his responsibility.

Hussein asks Kemal how will he live with this sin? Kemal says that Tariq is guilty but Hussein tells him to shut up. There’s no evidence to support that, no witnesses, so they will have to wait for dna evidence. Kemal maintains that Tariq confessed to him and that he will not harbor a criminal. Both parents refuse to accept that Tariq is a criminal. Asu has enough and tells Fehime that Kemal would not lie about this situation. She tells them they are being unfair. His parents leave without saying anything further. They ignore Kemal while Asu continues to proclaim her support for him.

Zehir is following the doctor.
 

Nihan approaches Asu and Zeynep. She thanks Asu, but she snaps at her and claims she did this for Kemal, not for her. Asu claims she herself is supposed to be there, supporting him. Nihan doesn’t know what to say.

Asu tells Kemal they will go to eat somewhere. Kemal says he’s busy and leaves her standing there like an idiot.

Asu calls Emir. She wants to talk to him. Soon she’s in his car! She wants him to leave Kemal alone, and that Nihan has wished her and Kemal to have a happy relationship. There is no reason for Emir to continue bothering Kemal. Emir is intrigued.

Salih presents Kemal and Zehir a death certificate. Kemal finds it interesting that it has the same date as Mujan Kozcouglu’s death. He wants Salih to find her actual death certificate, and he tells Zehir they will speak to the doctor, whom they realize they will have to bribe. Outside the cafe, Nihan is in a taxi. She requests to tail Kemal’s car.

Zeynep’s friend appears before Vildan, not realizing it was a trap. Vildan lays the pleasantries and starts to probe Zeynep’s past relationship with Salih. Then she mentions she knows there was another man. Sema doesn’t want to say who it is, but she asks if Zeynep really told her everything. Zeynep appears right at that moment. Realizing they all got caught, everyone tries to keep their cool. Zeynep leaves the room with Sema, leaving Vildan and Ozan to sympathize with Zeynep because of what’s happening to Tariq.

Sema asks Zeynep if she told Vildan that Emir behaved like a total idiot. Zeynep freaks out and realizes Vildan is trying to uncover her past.

Kemal appears at the doctor’s home. He asks him about the autopsy he made in 1991, and references Mujan Kozcouglu. The doctor asks him to leave, then wonders if he’s a police officer. Kemal starts to corral him into the room and demands to know what happened to Mujan. The doctor tells him that he doesn’t know much beyond the fact that she committed suicide. Kemal wants the name of the district attorney. Since the doctor continued to claim he forgot the name, Kemal leads him to the window and presents his squad. He threatens that they’re here for him. He wants the name and once he gets it he calls Zehir. They will search for the district attorney.

Galip finds Leyla and offers her home back, but with a catch (I think it’s the equivalent of letting her live there rent free but he keeps the deed). Leyla asks him why he feels he is so irresistible to women like her. He makes the offer again just before Onder appears, who’s shocked at what he heard. Leyla says she will take the home away from Galip, and Onder tried to butt in to diffuse the situation but Leyla shuts him down and leaves. Galip is amused. Onder confronts him for colluding with Vildan.

Nihan is watching Kemal exiting the doctors office. She tries to hide when he gets near.
 

Emir is evil manipulator indeed. Making Kemal look like a lying idiot before his parents? They already dislike him, but the fake truth will make them hate him even quicker. Hate that Tariq is going to get away with two things, or so it seems.

I guess today was Hussein’s turn to be the most annoying character on the show.

I agree with you Nina. Nihan is pitiful indeed.

Hello, littlest, but going strong, patio :-)

I remember someone saying that "Amor Eterno" has 74 episodes. By my count, this TN should end this coming Wednesday, but I still see it listed on the TV scheduled all week and even next week. I read that this TN has 2 seasons, but Season 1 consists of 35 episodes and Season 2 consists of 39 episodes, thus 74 episodes total. I am busy at the time it airs, so I can't watch it. Has there been any mention of "ultimos capitulos" or a new TN that may be starting?
 

I want to say I heard them say it about two nights ago , but not sure.
