Shadow is recovering from Alex's homerun swing to the back while the others calm him down.

the fight raid is on, Marcela will take over Cg's Queen logon to place bets with the help of betting specialist Granada, the others roll.

the fights are warming up on the dark web, Marcela/Queen bets on Al, but will raise her bets if the other fight goes on first.

Cata's crew is slithering through the hallways in full gear, as Diabla monitors her, she gives Sasha her last minute instructions, no you can't kill Cata, shoot me instead, then blow the place to protect our clients, then meet me at the hospital, oh and kill Calvo.

Jota is getting totally hammered and isn't covering himself anymore, Al picks up on it and comes to his rescue fighting off Tanatos, but wait now Quique is beating on Jota. (did Jota take the second pill, we saw him put it into a glass of water)

Valeria flops onto the scene being shot multiple times apparently saving Cata's life, Cata wants everyone in cuffs and the shooter found, rapido, rapido, and pushes on to the fight cage freeing Al and Jota, if he is still alive.

Al rushes to Valeria's side, insisting she is just a victim (which throws a wrench in everyone's suspicions) and later rants on how the drug makes you want to kill, the thought of being with Cata has kept him alive.

the Colonel's guys are finding bombs everywhere and it's a rush to clear the building which begins to blow.

the dark web fight connection is lost alarming Marcela.

later at the DEA debrief, Nat is once again stonewalled on Valeria.

Hilda calls Cata for an update, all is well, now we need to find Cm and Hernan (hmm, Mari was running that show) yep the Colonel's guys are outside the door, Sal is wonderful, etc etc.

Diabla returns from the dead in the hospital, pleased everything went as planned (so did she get all 6 x6 shots before she turned on Hand)

is that pic Reina has of a dead Moncho and Mari that she tells Marino to send off to that phone number, of course they are still alive but Reina wants Cuina dead.

Titi's crew is pondering why his Diabla reveal isn't in all the papers, they will have to kill her another way.

Marcela and Vane bring the kids to the hospital, but they can't actually have contact with Jota or Al who are undergoing tests.

Pilar wants to know if Titi is going to save Cata again, some talk of using him as bait to bring her in, but Cuina has assigned Tonina as backup and assures Pilar it's a done deal, but if Titi does something stupid Cuina will kill him.

Zoraya is talking sense to Alex about the opportunity he has to connect with his real dad, how about a hug, nope, all he smells is smoke, alcohol, and the pool hall, you want me to be like you guys, I like the good life, grabs Shadows gun drops down to the basement and conks Art, freeing his dad, who suggest they stay, what?, either that or fight when they are out numbered and out gunned, or get turned over to the DEA.

Highlights from #15

Pio & Crew enter Chema’s house and shoot up the place but Chema gets away with cuts and bruises. Dylan and Joaquin are sickened when Pio mercy kills one of his own guys.

Ambar goes to Edith, kills a guard. She wants her fair share of the work they did together. Edith unloads on the failures of the Venezuelan revolution. Edith proposes Ambar’s half plus half of her half if Ambar gets rid of Valdes. It’s revenge for Casasola’s murder. Isturiz and Skinny come to clean up.

Carla gives a caravan report. Valdes watches and thinks about how he can use this to an advantage in the US.

Alba is back, it was just a visit with Esther. She has a talk with Diana about her mom.

War is postponed for Irene’s wedding. Volpi tries again to get a deal with Amado. He agrees to restart negotiations.

Irene’s wedding is nice. Outdoor religious ceremony, food, drinks, dancing complete with broken plates.

Ojeda kills Williams & Davis, breaks in, knocks out Luzma and carries her away.

Volpi threatens Nikos—you’re useless and a betrayer.

Greñas has footage from Chema’s. Javi recognizes Joaquin, the slimeball lawyer, but no one recognizes Cabo. They want to find out who’s the bazooka guy.

Greñas also finds evidence of Jaime’s possible betrayal with the hacker. The Casillases are concerned.

Pio asks Dylan about the Fentanyl traffickers. Dylan says it’s a Chinese guy, Huang. Pio is ready to do business.

Amado gets the news about Luzma.

The next 5 weeks will be wild. Catagrande’s head will explode when all the truth hits her right between the eyes.

Sasha is a great shot. Diabla made a point of saying she trusts her and yes maybe this time. But the mysterious Russian always looks suspicious to me.

Everyone’s at the same hospital. Is Calvo too?

I was wondering the same thing about Diabla’s XY6 cure, deb. For her to give up Hand she must have been done, no? Will Albeiro find out he’s really HIV negative? All covered in blood, he wasn’t very careful with Cata at the fight.

Let’s hope that Alex realizes his dad is irredeemably evil and turns against him.

I don't know about Cata's head exploding, she has way of never really getting it, remember the whole thing on the breast implants, she reluctantly had them removed because the infection was going to kill her.

Diabla was getting the x6 shots from Hand himself, of course he liked giving them, and they never showed any arrangement for Albeiro, if he was getting them I'm sure Diabla would have hijacked them.

still waiting for Moncho to tell us the story of why Reina doesn't like Cuina.

I wish they wouldn't dump Laura's murder on Paola, she came back from her zombie self to intervene on Jota being a human sacrifice.

someone on twitter commented on how everyone has the same hospital room going back to when Nachi was there.

Cg comes to see Al, asks about Val, he's all behind her, but wonders why Cata is asking, they'll talk later when he is better, did something happen between you and Val (Al remembers that hot scene that got cut short) but all he says is he only has eyes for Cata.

the nurse is checking on Val, spills about Calvo down the hall, a lot of interest in him waking up, he must have a lot to say, then Alf and company roll in with some flowers and a kiss.

the camerman has me spinning as the Hand chats with "his" son, he had a chip implanted in Alex's arm, it has money, enough to live 1000 lives, guns, routes, contacts, political secrets enough to create an empire, your empire, all he asks is that Alex kill those that betrayed him, Mari, Moncho, Sasha, the old guard cartel, all, love you, be a good boy, shoot me, and he... does.

the Shadow gang upstairs is weighing options when they hear the shot and as Alex emerges, shaken, Zoraya asks for the gun, Alex pulls another covering them all, Hand jr. has left the building.

Sebas and Hilda go a couple of more rounds, but wait, Sebas comes back and asks for forgiveness (I don't trust this kid) he admires Hilda and what she has gone through, it's just that his mom was never there for him.

as Santi and Art hunt Alex, Art gets a call, it's Jo, she's got the money and wants Hilda dead, Art tells her he wants 50 million, she wants to know when he'll do it, he wants half first, when they meet, Santi is recording the conversation on his phone.

Sebas talks of Alex, they both had everything but someone to hug, they came to Colombia for adventure, (yep, I can see that happening) Sebas didn't know about his dad, just a businessman who was away a lot.

Cata thinks Al is still in danger and should get in the protection program, he's not interested, she gets a call, it's Nat, the two fighters broke from their interrogation and committed suicide, the vow of silence, Cata says, Nat wants to talk Val, why she was there, Cata puts it off with Al there, Al wants to know what's up, Cata snuffs that too, when you are better.

the gang call Alex hijo, Shadow calls him a murderer, he has blood on his hands and is now cursed.

Alex finds a quiet park bench, feels the chip in his arm, cuts it out.

Mateo, always with good news, got a call about the Miami Fashion Fair, they want Hilda, she says no, everyone else says yes, Sebas will translate their promo.

girl-next-door Sasha drops by the hospital, a quick change to nurse Sasha, hands Diabla the pics of dead Mari and Moncho, and a gun with silencer, Sasha will do the Calvo killing but Diabla wants the honor, but take care of the security cameras. (Sasha's dad was Vasil ???)

cute Cata interrogates the fight host with a cocked gun to his head, edging out the words, Black Hand was the owner, Diabla, and this other girl, Mari, and a one-eyed Mexican, she was tough, he doesn't know much else, Nat will get his statement.

the doc has good news for Al, he is healthy as a teenager, Al asks about HIV, negative, one of the first tests they ran, hands him the results.

agent patient Val is out for a stroll, past the guards and into Calvo's room, brings him around, in that quiet calm voice he always has, he says he has been expecting her, he wants a favor, don't kill my son,,, but gets a bullet to the forehead.

(I will miss this guy)

Halimacandy, so true, Cata's talk with Alberio at the rescue goes cold when he turns his attention to Valeria, she really has this thing about her first love Al being only for her, you would think her jealousy radar would have exposed Val.

I'm trying to remember if Cata and Albeiro ever did the deed, maybe once ??

I feel cheated. Where is the justice, ok revenge, I desired?

Black Hand wins; he exits on his own terms. What a psychopath. Everyone, including Alex, was a piece in Hand’s game moved only for his benefit. I’ll agree with Shadow, Alex was cursed. Hand deliberately created a murderer, although there’s still time for Alex to reverse the curse and turn that chip over to Cata. Let’s hope Diabla doesn’t get a hold of it.

Do you think Sebas will be pulled into Alex’s New World Order revenge? Cata with two narco kids?

Ay, Calvo. I’m going to miss him, too, deb. That stupid nurse. What happened to patient confidentiality? I remember Calvo told Diabla that if he died, something would be delivered to DEA Cata. I hope that wasn’t a bluff.

IIRC, the Russian (Vasil) and Italian narcos were killed in Vegas. There was a Spanish narco, not sure if he was killed or caught. Meng escaped with poor Paola. Brazilian Vini was killed later. Now that Hand is gone, Moncho is the only one out of the 7 still around.

it's months later and we are all awaiting the big event, Alfonso's inauguration.

prompted by Emilia, Rog is cranking out an article about the Shadow gang, a group of fighters that he was proud to be a part of, that have now split up, Emilia has gone off with her brother to start over, Santi has stayed to clear his name, Zoraya lives in the shadow of Alf choosing that other girl, Valeria, and Shadow and Art who knows, and Black Hand's body was found in a duct.

Alf's entourage is all a flurry making preparations, first lady Valeria (did they marry or soon to marry) and Lucrecia have a friendly chat, Valeria of course wants to kill her.

Cata is on her way to the inauguration, but Vane and Nat bow out, they all seem to be together in unmasking Valeria (what about finger prints and DNA) and wish Calvo could have talked, Ivan didn't have anything to say either.

Hilda's entourage is off to the Fashion fair in Miami (is Hilda engaged to Sal), Leticia wants Hilda to talk to Cata about her daughter, Hilda assures her she will when they get back (no, now I say) Hilda remembers Cata's concern for her letting her listen to Jo's phone call hiring the hitman (why didn't they grab her when they went for the money) Mateos gets all a super healthy drink, no one likes it, and some of the Colonels guys show up to escort them, Jo standing in the shadows, leaving without me?

Mari and Moncho are with the Reina mother, not sure what they are working on.

Sasha is shadowing Cata, Diabla calls in and gives her the program
1) break the news to Cata that Mari is dead
2) kill the old guard
3) turn the NWO into a monster (what about the drugs/formulas)

Hilda calls homeless Al at the hospital, tells of her trip, and offers him the house.

the Colonel, at Cata's request, picks up Marcela and the kids, Albeirito and Nanita, for the trip to the hospital since Al and Jota are being released today.

Titi is missing again and the crew gets all excited.

Rafa is driving Cata to the airport to see her mom off, wait the driver is Titi, Cata freaks, pulls her gun, he grabs it, she runs for it, shadow Sasha gets a pick of him, now her moto won't start.

loving couple Valeria and Alf kiss and touch and talk big families and growing old together, but first Alf has a mission, to stamp out crime, Val sticks a pair of scissors into his neck and bleeds him dry, or wishes she did.

Rog is hanging out with the press at the event local, one reporter quizzes him for a story, the whole Hand thing sounds vague, no prints, no pics, and Calvo, no security videos, but we do see a flashback of Ivan nodding off outside Calvo's room as Val walks by, then seeing his dad dead and running out of there, Rog suggests the reporter go to the police for info.

Jota gets a clean bill of health, no trace of the drugs.

Titi has a deal for stunned Cata, he will give her Cuina and the old guard, even Pilar the XY4 designer, and in return, for you to give yourself a chance to love me.

Sasha checks in with Diabla, has pics of Titi, he's alive...

ah, I watched it again this morning, I missed a lot but was amazed I got so much right.

Val and Alf did get married.

the locations confused me, the inauguration will be in Bogota where Cata, Vane and Nat are, and I guess Hilda's entourage is also there to catch the flight to Miami, at first we see them at a hotel ?? but later at the airport where Hilda is awaiting Cata, not sure what Jo's words mean about surviving this one.

interesting phone at the hospital, you call the number and someone brings the patient the phone.

oh and Titi's reveal to Cata was to once again save her, this time from Cuina.

deb, that was a great recap of a confusing and frustrating (for me) episode.

Wow. Months go by and nothing important?!?

So Rogelio writes a “memorial for a fight” about a group of strangers searching for dignity and justice and the Shadow gang has found neither.

Black Hand got what he deserved? Suppose I’ll have to be satisfied that he was found in a duct and partially eaten by scavengers.

How are Santi and Shadow going to clear themselves? That chip must have the answers.

Interesting that Emilia wished she stayed in the manicomio. And she and her brother will never mention Alex, the son she loved so much, again?

I’m guessing Alex went underground to do his homework before starting his revenge tour.

Valeria was exonerated in Dayana’s death (!) and there’s no progress in unmasking Diabla? Yes, deb, how about fingerprints and DNA. At least incompetent Cata is finally suspicious of Valeria.

And Jo is still on the loose. Yes, why didn’t they set up a sting for her?

The conversation between Rogelio and the reporter was confusing to me. The reporter asked Rog, who brought Hand to justice and who moved the body. Didn’t Rog write that Alex killed him? Was Rog’s piece ever published? Ha, when the reporter kept pressing, he said ask the police or tell them I helped move the body.

At least we were spared a lengthy wedding scene with Val & Alf. Only a photo and a brief flashback. I can’t watch those two together.

Did I understand that Albeiro is temporarily staying with Marcela?

Laugh of the night: Granados said it’s admirable how CataG has handled the situation with Mari.

Rog didn't include Cata as part of the gang, and what about the Colonel's raid to get Hand?

deb, there were holes in the show, not in your recap.

You are right about Zoraya's testimony but did she vindicate Santi or did she go right into hiding again? Yes, Shadow was/is a criminal but he shouldn't have gone to jail for killing his wife. That was a Black Hand set up. According to Emilia, Shadow's wife died when Alex was born. I thought Rogelio's story was not very clear on details.

The Hand raid was stalled by having Granados go to the fight first. I guess since the writers had Hand killed they just let it go.

Cata was sitting in the back but still, she couldn't tell right away that Rafael was not driving?

so what's it been, about 15 minutes total time Cata has spent with Sebas since bringing him to Columbia.
