This is interesting. This is the last week for ESDLC but Operacion Pacifico is not starting until Feb 10. There is an awful lot to tie up in the remaining 4 episodes. Please don’t tell me they are thinking of bringing this back for another season. Or perhaps they will re-brand it like they did with Sin Seños/El Final?

Anyway, I’m totally in for the last week after investing in 7 seasons (full and part time) of keeping up with Los Casillas.

Looks like Alba will get a visit from Cabo.

Will Carla get her interview with Amado?

Loved it! Colon and Navarro were laughing at that idiot Castillo. Amado broke into Castillo’s home, took his gun and then the idiot tried to cut a half-baked deal with Amado!

Bere and Jaime tied the knot in a civil ceremony. Dani boy looked mighty unhappy. Bere was sad her parents and sister couldn’t be there.

So Ambar’s function in the show has been reduced to having sex with anyone who crosses her path.

Tiger Claw killed Paola. She was following him and Alfaro. Paola was able to send a pic of TC to Castillo before she was killed. Wonder how Castillo will bungle this?

Dalila is holding out on spilling on Ojeda’s labs. She says give her time to work her mission. Amado is losing patience. Did Amado think one roll in the sack with Dalila would do the trick? Maybe he’s not as good as he thinks.

Cabo is looking to double cross Ojeda and take over his labs.

La dona. Halimacandy: Good one! I also thought the "body double" was suspiciously masculine looking. One of the many things that make me feel as if this sequel was just thrown together--though I do like Carlos Ponce in his role as Mexico City's only honest police detective.

1.) Castillo finds out about Paola getting whacked. Colon & Navarro find out as well.

2.) Alfaro gets scolded by Castillo about the picture Paola had sent Castillo.

3.) Ambar & her sidekick escape with the $$$$$$.

4.) Alejandra & Angela have a good talk.

5.) Diana finds out about STUPID Berenice marrying Jaime (BPN 2.0) & seeing her Body Language: She's annoyed & pissed off.

6.) Rutila & Co., put on their bullet proof vests & head over to Ojeda's hideout.

7.) Dalila is on borrowed time I'm afraid because we know if Ojeda figures out Dalila has been snitching...... it's RIP.

8.) Amado riding the motorcycle.

9.) Meanwhile El Capo gathering more backup as he plots the ultimate Trump card: whacking Dona Alba, Pepque & the kids.

10.) Colon & Corina find out what Dalila is doing.

11.) Ojeda knows something is off with Dalila. I don't think this girl will make it alive.

12.) Joaquin & Violeta are still alive. They're lucky..... for now.

13.) Berenice busts Jaime & Danny Boy in the act. She is disgusted & tried to pack her bags.... then Danny Boy becomew unhinged, brings up Jaime's connection to El Capo & Co., before offing himself.

All of a sudden: Berenice tries to call 911 & law enforcement, Jaime injects Berenice with a deadly concoction.

Seems like Cabo is stuck on finding Luzma. Unless I missed something, I don’t think Dylan mentioned Alba yet.

I can see it now — Ambar, Alejandra and Lazaro riding off together into the sunset with a big bag full of money.

The Casillas crew lay in wait outside of Ojeda’s lab. Dalila is warned to get out quick. I agree it doesn’t look good for her.

Homophobic Joaquin informs Violeta on Jaime’s proclivities.

Cabo wants Joaquin and Violeta to return to CDMX, ASAP!

Bere seemed more upset about Jaime’s dalliance with Dani than hearing Jaime killed her mother and set up Diana. What will a desperate Jaime do now? Will he pull a Teran and flee the country?

So the plot regarding Braulio seemed to thicken last night. The FBI guy, Duncan, tells Felina not to say anything to Altagracia about Braulio even if he is behind Mónica's kidnapping. Why would Duncan be so interested in saving Braulio from Altagracia's wrath? And later in the episode, Felina says "we need to find Braulio before Altagracia blows his head off."

With Braulio on the loose, I don't expect that Mónica and her mother can go off into the misty purple and live happily ever after, at least not yet. Fortunately, thanks to Mónica, Altagracia finally learns that Braulio isn't dead and that he was the one who planned her kidnapping, etc. Should be interesting to watch the two wonder women (Altagracia and La Felina) supposedly working together but with opposed aims re Braulio.

As if Braulio isn't enough of a creep for this novela, we've also still got the psychopath Navarette Jr. He has certainly won over Isabella, who excitedly tells her mother that she's met a wonderful guy. Meanwhile, one of Nav Jr.'s buddies asks him what he will do if Isabella figures out who he is. Nav Jr. pauses for perhaps an entire second before responding, "We eliminate her." (No one can accuse him of being indecisive.)

Halimacandy, thanks for all your great comments. No, I don't think the scene with Duncan means that Felina is a government agent. I think Duncan is using her to get...I'm not sure what. But she feels she has to do what he says because (according to her) her son's life and freedom depend on her doing so. So, as far as I can tell, she's simply on Team Felina.

Wow, I knew from just about the start of the episode that all would not be well. As soon as AG said to Mónica, "No one will ever separate us again. Never."

I think the writers must have stolen the idea of the invisibility cloak in the Harry Potter books and applied it to cars driven by Mexican police officers. How else are we to understand how (a few episodes ago) Navarette Jr. didn't hear or see Ochoa's car drive up seconds after Nav Jr. and his buddy parked, nor, in the present episode, how neither AG nor her two bodyguards hear or see the red car Leon is driving at close range behind them. Even when they drive through a deserted forest with no real road, he follows unnoticed.

Interesting scene involving Isabella, her new psychpathic boyfriend (Nav. Jr aka Lucho), Lucho's mentally unstable mother, and another woman. Somewhat to Lucho's dismay, his mother and her friend see him with Isabella. He then has to introduce Isabella to his mother. Before long, Isabella tells Lucho's mother that her aunt is Altagracia Sandoval. The mother says, "Isn't that rather awkward, since we now own her business?" Isabella seems quite taken aback. Lucho tries to make it seem unimportant, but I wonder whether Isabella will pass this piece of information on to her mother, and whether Regina will find this, um, odd/eerie/worth passing on to AG.
