**El Señor de los Cielos ended last Friday. A new novela, Operación Pacífico, will take its place in the 10 PM time slot starting next Monday, February 10. Until then, La Doña 2 will run for two hours each day, 9-11 PM (except for Tuesday, when it was preempted by the President's annual State of the Union speech).
Here is Wikipedia's brief description of Operación Pacífico: "The series revolves around Amalia Ortega (Majida Issa), a leading and brilliant federal agent of the secret investigation unit of the National Police that has the mission and personal objective of capturing El Guapo, one of the last drug traffickers on the northern border of Mexico." Among the other actors featured in this novela are Mark Tacher, Johanna Fadul, Christian Tappan, and Emmanuel Orenday

Steve, as far as I know there are no more Monkeys except for the redeemed Daniel. Are you referring to the vengeful Monkey family members with Braulio and/or the depraved Rainbow Killers? If so, I think you are right, they won’t be caught anytime soon.
Did I understand correctly? Braulio’s dad, Manuel Padilla, was/is a terrorist in Europe? I don’t see how Interpol intends to use Braulio to find Manuel.
Stupid blunder Altagracia, cutting off Mauricio’s hand. I was glad Daniel told her she should have thought before she chopped. Her answer: Fine! I lost control! This is typical of what turns me off about this show.
I enjoyed how Romelia’s phone call distressed Lucho but now he’s determined to kill Nando’s entire family. His idea of problem solving is to kill people. Another turn off.
And how about Lucho’s mom? She abused him as a young child and then proceeded to cover up his increasingly abnormal behavior.
At least Sebastian will take Noelia’s mind off of Leon for a moment.
I’m warning you writers: Don’t kill Fatima and Angel.

Wow, the writers really do seem to be getting off on all this violence. Yeah, AG can say that she lost control when she chopped off half of Mauricio's arm with an ax she conveniently had close by, but she's just as nasty/sicko when she's in full control--e.g., when she buries a man alive (in season 1) or burns a man alive (seasons 1 and 2). And are we to assume that the cameraman also so lost control (or was so turned on watching AG chop away) that he focused the camera more than once on Mauricio's bloody stump?
And are we supposed to be sympathetic to Braulio because his father was also a psycho? And that Lucho is a disgusting psychopath because his loca mother treated him badly? I wonder what the writers have against their own parents.
What were the scratches on Navarette's back that he tried so hard to prevent his wife from seeing? Signs of AG's so-called passion?? Arrgh.

I have to confess that I found the sex scenes rather unconvincing, or uninteresting, or.... Oh well.... There must have been something in the air, however. Suddenly everyone is doing it: Daniel and Regina, Sebastian and Noelia, and Lucho and Pablo's niece, not to mention Braulio's intentions re Felina.
I think you nailed it when you described Pablo as "missing a few light bulbs" and looking like a deer in the headlights. And yes, the missing light bulb problem seems to run in the family, as you point out re Pablo's niece (and perhaps Nando as well). I guess that whole family illustrates that innocence/naiveté can be dangerous.
