Steve, I don't know if JP would leave the priesthood for Chachi. Chachi is certainly crazy, but she may just have a pretty heavy anvil dropped on her after killing off at least one person with a contaminated drinking cup.
Despite this I hope for some kind of reprieve for her, for Ma Lola's sake.

Running commentary . . .

I just saw a commercial for soccer next week . . . Guess we will have to check the schedule again.

Marcia proves again she is not so swift: she didn't quite think of how an injured Mariana might rob all of Iggy’s attention. She isn’t too observant either. She didn’t hear Lola chomping on her seeds/nuts in Lucrecia’s room as she ranted on.

Lucrecia fingers Marcia. The young priest now knows and tells Isabel and Camilo about the murder attempt and more.

That was a fast fist fight. Are they slicing and dicing?

Ewwww Atilio kisses Mari on the lips.

Marcia is back to threatening the baby.

Yay! Atilio is arrested for murder (courtesy of Iván).

El Cumache with the wig! What a hoot!

Like magic the baby crying brings Mari back to the land of fhe living.

So why isn’t everyone telling everyone that Mari is the baby’s mother. This is plain stupid.

Chachi is moving on to another but will he survive? Looks like it. Isidro to the rescue. Ah, she recognized Lola as her mother.

Finally Isabel tells Marcia she baby’s mother.

Mariana turns into the sleeping beauty once more. Can’t go jumping out of bed with a head injury. Can the baby do the trick a second time?

So what’s Camilo’s excuse for not telling Iggy the truth about the baby?

Maybe they are waiting to plan a “parentage party” to announce Mariana is the mother complete with balloons and cake!

Carol could end up the big winner with Iván having to put his Isla Esmeralda ventures in another name to save them. Uh, oh, she wants to talk to Atilio or at least talk to Liborio.

Lucrecia talks to save baby from Marcia. How will Marcia shut her up without implicating herself? She should have thought that before trying to smother Lucrecia. Lucrecia pretends to be unconscious again.

Surprise, Marcia! Lucrecia was talking before she knew it.

How can Marcia accuse them of kidnapping the baby if it isn’t hers, ISABEL?

Another “finally”, Isabel tells Marcia and them all that the baby isn’t hers. Marcia has been deceiving them all the while.

Iggy brings Mariana around this time. She tells Iggy that the baby is hers. Nobody told Iggy when they could have.

Jarifa, thanks for your Running commentary, it preps me for the ordeal of watching this silly novela. I still like this crazy show, but not as much as I first thought I would.

Thank God for DVRs and Sr FFWD!

Time to strap on the beanie and risk it all...

I checked the schedule and it seems like we are okay. One more week and a day or two the following week and it all will be a memory . . .

Andy, those beanies are essential equipment when watching this one. At least the plot is finally moving along.

Jarifa: The baby was like "Get the Hell away from me you crazy lady" in reference to Marcia. I did laugh when the baby kept getting passed around LOL.

1.) Crazy Whacky Chachi FINALLY recognizes Lola as her Mommy to which everyone at the nightclub applauds.

2.) Yadhira holding the baby was awww.

3.) Creepy Atilio kissing Mariana 🤔

4.) Mariana turns into sleeping beauty once again as she talks to Isabel.

5.) Psycho Marcia threatening everyone. Can somebody shut this lady up ?

6.) Ivan needs to watch his back because Carol will betray him in a second.

7.) Engineer Dude: WTH are you thinking hugging Crazy Whacky Chachi man ?

8.) Where is Miguelina ?

9.) Catfight between the Montenegro sisters LOL.

10.) Iggy & Creepy Atilio fighting & throwing punches.

11.) Cumache with the ugly wig LOL.

12.) Isabel's MIC DROP on Marcia was AWESOME.

Jarifa, thanks for the snappy commentary on this frustrating episode...well more frustrating than most :-)

I actually thought I had missed an episode. All of a sudden Mariana is up in her bedroom and everyone seems to know that Atilio miraculously started walking. I didn’t think these idiots could be more stupid.

And Lucrecia, knowing how dangerous Marcia is, opens her mouth when she is alone with Marcia. Did she really think Marcia would refrain from killing the baby just because she talked ? I don’t think Lucre was pretending to be unconscious; I think Marcia drugged her to shut her up.

I too wondered why it took so long for someone to tell Iggy that the baby is Mariana’s.

I’m glad Isabel had others with her when she confronted Marcia about the baby not being hers. She probably didn’t plan it that way but it was very fortunate that she was not alone or she would have been Marcia’s next victim.

Jarifa, thanks for the update on when the “Por Fin” will be. Looking forward to all the anvils falling...hope they are good!
 

MARIANA

Things are really moving along now after such a long spell of prolonged silliness.

I wonder about Mariana's new engineer. He seems so interested in Mariana, which can be dangerous as we know, and then he gets quite chummy with Crazy Chachi. The man is flirting with death; it's a race to see if Cumache gets him first, or if he disappoints Chachi and gets a poisoned chalice, er, disposable cup from her.

Anyway, we need to be on the lookout as the schedule at the Univisión site now says Mariana Monday and Friday, fútbol in between. At this rate we could be into the new year before the wrap up.


OT

I just had the biggest laugh I have had in a long time. I had a flashback to an earlier, more naive time when we really believed that computers would be really great time savers. I've just finished my own 'lost weekend' wrestling with some hobby computer work that just would not behave.
