1.) Fernanda redoing her hair inside the bathroom while Damian waits outside.

2.) Daddy Elizalde attempting to get tough on Jackass #1 Annibal, who's acting like a total JACKASS at the party at Casa Santorro.

7.) Steve, Jr., assuring Venus that everything is going according to plan: her next conquest.... Jackass #2 Camilo.

8.) We all know Venus will likely get into bed with Jackass #2 Camilo because he's the BAD BOY of Telenovela's.

9.) Just as you guessed it, Jackass #2 Camilo arrives at the party on the grounds of Casa Santorro & insults Franco LOL.

10.) When Psycho Barbara asks Fernanda & Damian on what's going on. Fernanda suggests it's the news about Liliana being missing (uh-oh Liliana better NOT get abused again).

11.) Santiago & Aurora enjoying some family childhood albums. Y'all better enjoy it now because Jackass #2 Camilo & Psycho Barbara will destroy Aurora!

12.) Fernanda & Erika drinking tequila. What could possibly go wrong ?

 

"MEPS" Episode 92 Recap (Part II)
13.) Clingy Erika informs Fernanda that Franco is planning to announce their engagement, which we see Fernanda's body language telling us all......

14.) Back at the Elizalde Mansion: we see Santiago & Aurora looking at pictures including those of Psycho Barbara & family; Santiago figures that by comparing the photographs of Aurora & Psycho Barbara, they look alike (Maury Povich reveal coming in 73, 72....)

15.) Back at J&M's: Nagging Gardenia naively thinks that Eduardo/Franco will be with her. Umm Hell to the NO! Jacinto even tells her that Eduardo will always have the hots for the Redhead.

16.) Love scene between Santiago & Aurora: AWWW.

17.) Insults launched between Franco & Jackass #2 Camilo with typical insult on Americans, Spaniards, etc.,

18.) More love-making bliss between Santiago & Aurora: Aurora being PREGGERS in 73, 72, 71.....

19.) Lovely FINALLY shows up at the party.

20.) Eduardo/Franco's body language when he sees Damian & Fernanda back together: AGGHHH.

21.) Once Lovely finally showed up, you know Jackass #2 Camilo is immediately taken in by her beauty & of course her sexy body.

22.) Eduardo/Franco addressing the crowd on stage, discussing the association between Grupo Lactos & Power Milk. He presents the associates of Power Milk & Steve Norton, Jr.,

23.) Speaking of Steve, Jr., he introduces his "niece" Lovely Norton. We can tell that Jackass #2 Camilo is eye-googling her already.

24.) Steve, Jr., mentioning that Lovely, his "niece" is from Mexico & the reason for Franco wanting his business in Mexico.

25.) Upon sensing Damian devouring Fernanda's hands, arms & shoulders, Eduardo/Franco presents Erika as his fiance. The look on Nagging Gardenia's face is EPIC LOL.

 

"MEPS" Episode 92 Recap (Part III)
26.) Upon the moment Eduardo/Franco presents Erika as his fiance: Fernanda finally shrugged off Damian's creepy kisses & looks like she's about to storm the stage.

27.) Nagging Gardenia also almost stormed the stage, but stopped herself from doing so.

28.) Everyone toasts to the news being announced.

29.) Psycho Barbara smirks on this development of course because for the moment, her plan is working.

30.) While the exotic party on the grounds of Casa Santorro continues, we see Lovely being paraded in front of the Elizalde's: Damian drooling like a dog on Fernanda still (DUDE: GET SOME SANITIZERS MAN), Jackass #2 Camilo looks like he wants to jump Lovely right now, etc.,

31.) Nagging Gardenia is in her room, angry at Eduarado/Franco & hates him for not choosing her LOL.

32.) Argument occurs between Jackass #2 Camilo & Psycho Barbara on what Franco Santorro is doing...

33.) Steve, Jr., introduces Lovely to the US Ambassador to Mexico.

34.) More of Santiago & Aurora at the Elizalde Mansion: Fast Forward (Sorry lovebirds).

35.) Daddy Elizalde nagging while Psycho Barbara enjoys her drink.

36.) Just as predicted: Jackass #2 Camilo pulling out the moves on Lovely.

37.) Inner thoughts of Psycho Barbara calling Fernanda stupid & other insults as we see Fernanda seeing Franco & Erika together.

38.) Jackass #1 Annibal wants to get right into business & more details about the company in NY St., with Steve, Jr., who compliments Priscila's marvelous eyes.

 

QT #45 Part 1 of 4

Leo talked to the (apparently) sleeping Sabina, saying he was tortured by the possibility that Angelita was his daughter. Minerva eavesdropped, then quietly entered the room. She put her hand on his shoulder and asked why he was there when he had nothing to do with this. He told her this was his problem and she told him not to let himself be manipulated by this woman. He got up and walked out. Minnie looked at Sab and said “What a pity you're not dead.” She walked out and Sab opened her eyes. Her face said she heard every word.

Matt argued with Sandy about her attempt at controlling him. She had a short tantrum before walking out. Tito came out of hiding with a remark just as Val called to tell Matt that La Chula was sick. He took some medical supplies out of a drawer and went on his way on a black horse. Sandy chased him for a few steps and had a tantrum that Leo heard. She complained he had a letter from Val he would not let her read and was sure he was on his way to meet her. Leo said “Let's go” and they got into the jeep. They drove fast and almost got close enough to run into Matt's horse.

Remi visited Padre G in the jail. He brought him a blanket, some food prepped by Val (whom he said wasn't a good cook), and a copy of The Confessions of St. Augustin. Padre G thanked him and asked if he knew anything about Berenice. Remi told him No, going on to say that a woman scorned is capable of anything after listening to Paquita la del Barrio.

Sandy argued with Eva over the phone while Leo was outside the car checking for a signal on his phone. She accused her mother of favoring Berenice. She even asked whether she (herself) would have to become a nun so she wouldn't worry about her. Finally she ended the call and they took off.

As we all suspected, Lorenzo was hiding Berenice. His living conditions were not up to par. She told him she would be leaving town on the bus that night.

Matt found Val a she explained the problem. He checked the horse and said she had colic. He then loaded a syringe and gave La Chula an injection. Val cringed.

Tirso entered the church looking much the worse for wear.and saying he had paid dearly for his sins. He knelt and prayed for Sab to live.

Minnie and her shot glass summoned Servando who closed the door behind him at her request. She gave him cash, asked him for everything he knows, and said to forget this conversation afterward. She asked how many lovers Sab had had. He mused that Don Patricio also paid for this same answer and told her that he knew everything. Minnie asked how it was that Sab didn't pay with her life. Servando answered that by the time Don Patricio knew about this she had been on her best behavior and he didn't want the world to know that he had been cuckolded. Further, that when the affair with Tirso began Don Patricio discovered that Sab had cheated on him with his own son. He had seen incriminating photos on Leo's phone from a weekend she had spent with him. Don Patricio had been in love with her, which prompted Minnie to say that he had only ever loved himself. Servando said that Sab was young and beautiful and Don Patricio's ego was stroked by being seen with her in public. Minnie downed the rest of the booze and told him she was going to put Sab and Ange out. He was to keep his mouth shut. He agreed to.
 

QT #45 Part 2 of 4

Matt told Val that La Chula would be alright. They stroked her and talked about the beauty and nobility of horses. Matt always loved them and was happy that Don Patricio had indulged this and what a shame it was that he didn't live to fulfill his dream of breeding valuable thoroughbreds.. Sepia flashback to the recent past when Don Patricio and Matt were looking at a picture of a gorgeous white stallion. Don Patricio talked about that stallion siring world-famous champions that would be worth millions. Don Patricio said it was a shame that Leo didn't want to be part of this. “He wastes his time on foolishness in the city, but you and I will complete this dream,” he said to Matt. Val suggested that Matt could complete this dream as an homage.

Art went on a misogynistic rant to Basurto, saying that if Berenice didn't turn up or if anything happened to her he would make Padre G disappear. Basurto told him to calm down; she woul turn up. [Couldn't make out the rest of this; if you know please add if it's important]

Val said she would help and asked him to teach her about horses because she had come to love them. He caressed her hair briefly and said “You are everything I have ever wanted in a woman. Why did you get here so late?” They almost kissed.

Tirso entered Sab's hospital room with the bouquet of mums he had with him in the church. He apologized they weren't roses, but they were the only flowers he could get. She told him she did not want to be with him and didn't want Ange to live with him. If he tried to force this she would make sure to succeed in her next suicide attempt. She could not face telling Ange she was not Don Patricio's daughter. She told him to try to understand. He agreed not to spill the [fake] frijoles but said she would have to agree to live with him at the pensión; Ange could join them after she got her inheritance. Sab agreed reluctantly. [Someone needs to give Tirso a makeover so he stops looking homeless.]

Sandy called Matt who said to stop screaming at him; he would be back shortly. La Chula was well enough to walk but Matt said Val needed to ride with him.

Dalia told Ange that her mother would be out of the hospital in a few days. She had been afraid that her mother would die. Dalia hugged her.

Leo and Sandy waited. Both were rude to Matt and Val when they arrived. When Leo demanded to know where Val had been. She told him and he was miffed. She told him he was not her boss and she did not answer to him. She went inside and he followed her. Sandy started in on Matt. He wasn't having it, saying “This is the last time we will talk about this. You are choking me with your jealousy. I'm stabling the horses and taking a shower. Then we'll talk about your sister.” She was fuming as he walked away.

Dalia took Ange to the storeroom with Don Patricio's things, suggesting she go there when she missed him. She said not to forget that Don Patricio was her father. Ange asked why she said that and Dalia replied that life is full of rain and we need to protect ourselves. She then explained that Matt was “my hijo de corazón and I love him just as much as your mother loves you.” Ange began looking at things in the room. [This child was a perfect casting choice vis à vis the actos playing her parents.]
 

QT #45 Part 3 of 4

Minnie and her shot glass stumbled through the hacienda saying “Me, a grandma?” and laughing. Leo caught her in the upstairs corridor and asked what she was going on about. “You can call it victory because I called her a bastard, but nooooooo...” She finished the glassful and he caught her before she fell through the opening door to her room.

Servando told Dalia not to go to Juanito if she had anything to say to him(self). She asked him if he knew anything about Val's diary. He said No, he never went into people's rooms.. She asked if he heard anything, even coincidentally; she could manage a bonus for him.

Facundo brought Padre G some food as Matt arrived. Nobody knew where Berenice was. Padre G then said that Lorenzo – who loves Berenice – had not come to see him. Facundo told them that Lorenzo had come to his job to buy two of this and that and just said that he was extra hungry....

Another blue ghost visit happened to Leo in which Don Patricio told him that “Val has more guts than you expected.” Also that he had to be more of a man to have her as a partner and that she was his only opportunity for him to make things right. He has to be more of a man for that and he's been robbed of this. He's a Montes but wallowing in his demons. He could touch the sky with Val but he's rotten inside. As Don Patricio laughed Leo tried to get to him by throwing Ange's (supposed) paternity in his face. “You try to make me cry but I am way beyond that. Be careful. You won't be able to hide your dark nature. What are you going to do, Leonel? What are you going to do?” He laughed and disappeared.

Full moon.

Berenice tried to leave but discovered the door was locked. Matt knocked. Lorenzo woke up and Berenice asked for the key. He had locked the door so she could not leave. He gave her the key and she let Matt in. Matt told her that her family was worried about her. She didn't want to go home. She left with him ayway. Loreno sat down and cried.

Matt brought Berenice home. Art was waiting with Eva and he was relieved she was alright. She told him if he wanted her to stay he had to release Padre G. Art did not want to hear this. Berenice told him that if he didn't she would leave and he would never see her again. She went to her room. Matt excused himself and left.

The next morning Leo talked to his lawyer. He seems to be in some kind of trouble.
 

QT #45 Part 4 of 4

Val called on the local veterinarian about La Chula. After a brief conversation he went inside and Magdalena approached her. They sat down to talk. Magdalena had trouble starting out. She hugged Val, then started by telling her she had a hard life. Her mother had been very strict and.... Leo arrived to spoil this. Magda walked away with a backward glance as Val refused to allow Leo to drag her back home. Sandy arrived and said what an ugly scene by such a nice couple. She asked Leo about Sab and he replied “Weak, but better.” He then excused himself and left. Sandy asked if he was really worried about Sab. She also told Val to be careful as she was worried about her own novio.

Ange showed Tito the room. He said he wished he could find his father and Ange asked if he knew his name. Tito hid as the door swung open to admit Minnie and her shot glass. She started asking Ange questions as she walked around the room expressing disdain for the dust and the things it covered., she said that when all of the property came into her hands she would “get rid of all this crap.” She left. Tito came out of hiding and closed the door. “Who was that drunk old woman?” he asked. Both kids laughed.

Magda went to the saloon to find Esme depressed. As Magda tried to make her feel better Leo barged in shouting that he didn't want them near his girlfriend. Esme defended Magda and demanded an explanation. Madga said “Because I am her mother. I am Valeria's mother.” Leo gave her a death glare.
 

Amorcito Corazón has ended on Galavision.

Next week Al Diablo Con Los Guapos is supposed to start according to Wiki.

Basurto told Art (I think) that the time wasn't right to get rid of the Padre. Not sure.

"[Someone needs to give Tirso a makeover so he stops looking homeless.]" This is true.

It's nice that Matt owns a durable red poncho so he's easily spotted in the woods.

Val didn't seem to react that much to Mag's big news, although she was interrupted. Maybe tomorrow.
 

I wish Magdalena had manage to get something out before Leo got to her. It would actually be a good thing if Leo could be tricked into admitting it himself. But this is showing Leo's true self and that is something Val should know.

Quererlo Todo Friday March 12, 2021
This is a very skimpy recap, due to quick scene changes and limited notes. Also, the guy fixing my roof edge and painting my columns interrupted me at least once. I regret I can’t bring you all the nuances. Some other viewers may be able to fill in some details.

Part 1
Val is listening to Sandy recount Leo and Sabina’s past affair. Even if the mind (?) or whatever forgets, the skin remembers, according to the meddler. Sandy tells Val she has a rival in Sabina. Val shrugs off this counsel and leaves the room.

Leo goes to the bar and tells Esmeralda and Magdalena to stay away from Val. They argue, with Leo throwing his weight around. Basurto comes in and pulls them apart. He makes it clear that the ladies are under his protection.
Leo leaves and sees Remi on the street. His anger already aroused, he berates Remi and pushes him. He wants Remi gone. Remi will tell everyone about Leo—how he locked Mag’s sister (forget name) in an asylum when she was sane (and perhaps other dastardly deeds I missed.)
Leo and Val (at the house) confront one another. Leo wants Val to ignore Mag (her newfound mother), while Val wants to know the truth about Leo and Sabina. He says that was the past; nothing going on now.

Esme and Mags are in a close confidential conversation. The father of her missing child was Patricio. Mags tells how seeing and embracing her child was beautiful and brought her joy. She thinks Esme is the only family she has. Strong emotion and hugs between them.

In contrast to this tender scene, big bad bossy Leo has gathered the “family” group in the hacienda. Leo, Min, and Aaron are there, joined by Dalia, Mat, Val and Sandy. Leo is offering champagne to one and all, saying he wants to offer a toast. He’s going to court to contest his father’s will. The Montes’ fortune will return to the Montes family (blood line, of course.) Dalia will no longer be in authority.

Minerva chimes in, saying Dalia is only fit to buy beans in the market. Mother and son decree that Dalia is not fit or able to manage a large hacienda. Mat stands up in defense of his mother, and there is a general babble of pro and con from the group.
 

QT Friday 3/12/21

Part 2

One more argument between Val and Leo—she has bad friends, he has Sabina. He grabs her, she tells him “Sueltame!”

Bere rushes into Eva’s house. Art is also there as Bere urges her father to let Padre G go free (I think.) Tells her parents “It’s my problem.” Art shoots back, “It’s everyone’s problem.” (Of course, he’s sooo concerned about the well-being of HIS town.) Bere screams that she’s tired of being the perfect girl! She runs out, leaving Art looking stunned at her rebellion.

Sandy, as always, bursts into Leo’s office without knocking. He says he will tip the balance in his favor, once he is mayor. He pointedly tells Sandy that she is only with Mat and Dalia for her own benefit.

Somewhere there was a conversation with Leo criticizing the town and its people as lowly, stupid, rotten etc. The other person thought it was strange that he wanted to be mayor of a town he despised.

This is the point where the worker interrupted me and I had to go outside to check on something. I have no idea what I missed. When I got back, Juanito and three buddies are in the bar. He’s trying to flirt with the other barmaid (name?) while his buddies egg him on. Remi is seated at another table, silently telling Juanito not to go down that road.

Ghostly blue Patricio criticizes his unworthy grandson. “When are you going to wear the pants? You need to be the boss! You are pathetic!” (Not sure Leo needs any more encouragement to act violent or abusive.) Leo feels stabbed by this negativity.

Val and Leo meet for one more confrontation. She doesn’t like how he hides things from her. He shouts that she needs to accept him with his flaws and his secrets (selfish SOB). She pushes back. Leo is goaded to the point that he loudly tells Val her mama was a prostitute who abandoned her. She left the baby with her aunt, who was a drug addict. Leo stepped in and saved the situation (I think?) Val is frozen in disbelief, wounded and tearful.

Mat had a Patricio sighting, with the ghost telling him to look for his mother. He tells Dalia about this, but thinks it may just be a stupid dream. Dalia believes this is the moment to find his parents. She will help him find his past, history, and heritage. In addition, she will always be his mama.

Inspector Basurto strolls into the cantina. He tells Mag he will protect her from Leo. The ladies offer him a drink. He goes to Remi’s table, where they talk.

Tirso finds Leo, says they need to talk about Sabina. She will come live with Tirso, which causes Leo to go into shoving/threatening mode. He will even use his father’s gun to shoot Tirso! (Whoa, Tirso, you get special treatment!) Tirso tells Leo to ask Sabina if this isn’t true.

Lord Leo seems to have invented a new workout. Instead of push-ups, he does push-downs and shoving. He thinks he can intimidate everyone. I don't think the town will flourish with him at the helm.
 

"MEPS" Episode 93 Recap (Part I)
1.) Episode 93 picks up right where we left off at Casa Santorro.

2.) Jackass #2 Camilo still putting the aggressive moves on Venus.

3.) Steve, Jr., compliments Priscila's good beautiful looks. She looks HOT!

4.) Priscila's body language says she is amazed.

5.) Jackass #1 Annibal is looking annoyed at Steve, Jr., kissing the hand of Priscila.

6.) In the meantime we see Nagging Gardenia nagging & nagging. Throwing letters of Eduardo to Fernanda from 20+ years ago on the bed.

7.) Sounds like Nagging Gardenia will quit working for Casa Santorro.

8.) During the party at Casa Santorro: we see Damian dancing with Erika as Eduardo/Franco dances with Fernanda.

9.) Fernanda looks annoyed with the news of Franco announcing his engagement to Clingy Erika.

10.) Psycho Barbara still smirking while plotting sinister schemes against Franco Santorro.

11.) APB for Liliana Elizalde.

12.) Body Language of Eduardo/Franco & Fernanda says it all LOL.

QT #46; Supplemental

When Leo told Sandy she was in this for her own benefit, it was on the assumption that Matt would benefit from Don Patricio's will because he had been in the old man's favor. He told her she would benefit directly if she spies on Matt and Dalia and the lawyer they are going to hire. She asked him ow much he will pay for this information. He grinned but said nothing.

She doesn't appear smart enough to realize that Leo thinks that she is trash and he will kick her to the curb.

Padre G was released along with some sarcastic remarks from Art, who also mocked the blessing. Basurto (whose first name I forgot) looked sick of this whole thing.

Dalia paid Servando to deliver Val's diary. He did not have it in hand when she paid hi the money. I think she made a critical error here.

Sandy tried to get wedding money out of Art, who claimed he didn't have the money for what she wanted. She played on his ego about his image before leaving his office.

The waitress Juanito "flirted" with is named Camila. She does not appear to realize that he's gay.

Magdalena's sister's name is Nadia. She had to have been a drug addict early on based on Val's early memory flash of finding her unconscious on the floor. That likely happened at least ten years before she and Leo met.
 

QT #46

Would Aaron be willing to do the DNA test on Magda and Val? He would need to keep this from Minnie because she would use this information against Val out of her own snobbery.

Aaron is in a very difficult position right now. He knows that Matt is Don Patricio's son. He was Don Patricio's best friend (insofar as a man like the Don could have friends) and may have known the extent of Don Patricio's emotional abuse of Leo. However, he wasn't in a position to do anything about it.

When Dalia encouraged Matt to look for his birth parents, how does she not realize that Matt is the son of Esme? Neither of these women appear subject to la llamada de la sangre.

Val heard Sabina's voicemail as she entered the den. The "ghost" disappeared. This is always how it happens, so she should compare notes with Sabina. The confrontation between Val and Leo got very ugly when he demanded that she accept him, warts and all, while refusing to come clean about Sabina. This makes no sense because he had nothing to lose by doing so since that "relationship" was ten years ago. He may have boinked Sabina then to cuckold his father and not had a full-blown relationship with her. He also didn't admit to the one-off he had with Sab recently and he probably has no intention of repeating it. However, he also boinked Sandy. Both women could come up pregnant within the next few episodes.

Leo is like his father in that way and history repeats itself.

When Basurto visited the saloon to bring Magda a box of chocolates Esme referred to Val not only as Magda's daughter but as Leo's "trophy" fiancee. That is all Val is to Leo now: A Barbie doll with a great wardrobe. Val's amnesia has apparently brought out the courage to stand up to him. She may never have had this before and he can't take it. However, it may not have previously been necessary away from his father and now this situation.

Art only cares about himself and his political image. He will have a conniption -- or a coronary -- when he finally stumbles on those photos of Sandy. Up until now Berenice has been the perfect daughter for him: Educated, an elementary school teacher, discreet, and possibly still virginal. That she fell in love with the new priest is easy to understand because he's attractive, educated, and cares about the people of this town. He's drawn attention to political and police corruption, which Berenice can't do. Art's current main squeeze is drawn to Padre G for his kindness and empathy, two traits Art has none of. Being the narcissist that he is, Art will never face this.

I was trying to figure out when Minnie jumped ship. Was anything said about how old Leo was? She would have been a crap mother no matter what. Was she even aware of how Patricio treated Leo?

The whole cast is great. The actress playing Dalia almost totally dispelled me from the airhead mother in Amor Bravio and the annoying and snobbish one in ENDA.

I don't recall any clues about the separation of Patricio/Min. Earlier clips of Leo show him with dark sideburns. He's probably in his late 30s-early 40s?

I doubt Min would pay that much attention to Leo's childhood relationship with his father. She's too self-centered and may have been drinking even then. Did they send Leo off to boarding school? That's often a way out for wealthy parents.

The Dalia actress has never been one of my faves, although she is very popular. I like her character here. Especially enjoy seeing her and Esme overcoming past difficulties and agreements, bonding more as sisters.

Paloma, I think you're right. Minnie would have had a nanny for Leo and paid him very little attention out of view of the neighbors and others prone to gossip. Not sure when her alcoholism began, but there is nothing deficient in Leo's intelligence or his looks so no fetal alcohol syndrome there. What is deficient is his ability to trust women, but we have just explained how that happened.

Since the flashbacks to Leo's youth showed him as a child and as a teen, I don't know about boarding school. Any other rich family I would say Yes, but I suspect that Patricio would I have wanted to have as much time as he could to indoctrinate him into ranch life. A boarding school would have been far away in a vastly different environment and would have had its own influence on him. Did he go away to college? I would bet on that, but not on him having gone to boarding school anytime earlier.

Urban, I've missed episodes here and there, so may not have seen those particular flashbacks.
You're right, though. Patricio was trying to force Leo into the rancho mode, but Leo wasn't cooperative. Probably surly, as well. Mateo was the one who loved the horses and the hacienda.

I think this TN is lots of fun, but not sure how many are hanging out of the patio?
