I'm behind and trying to play catchup so I won't be able to look at 2nites epi until sometime 2morrow. But like everyone else...grateful to you Dondi for your excellent and entertaining recaps...hats off to you.

I don't recall who said it but I agree...I immediately assumed that Yaya lied and said the Elvan was the one with the fertility problems. He is such a weak person so wouldn't put it pass him to have lied. Like I said before...it would be great if Elvan ended up with someone else...and pregnant. I too cringe for her every time someone brings up "her supposedly infertility". Not convinced since the news was delivered to her not by the doctor but Yaya. She should have gone for a second opinion.

Please let Loki be the father of Meneske's spawn.

Can't believe it that both lovebirds were shot by Akin and his evil crew. We are all sure that Sancar regrets not murdering Akin who deserves the worse beatdown. When Nare had the glass to his face...was so hoping she would actually cut him but she's not heartless...and only stabbed him the first time in self defense. Hopes someone slips so "soft peter" in his next meal.

Let me say this I like sancar but he is being abit selfish. He can't let go of menekse because of the baby but he wants to keep nare all to himself rather she likes it not. And now he locks her in the room. He is so scared she will leave with gediz. She may love gediz but she is not in love with gediz.

….What a great couple we are, Nare tells Sancar, we are a couple of fools….

A heaping helping of Isikli hospitality: While Muge comforts a sobbing Elvan outside the guest house, inside, Gediz beats the crap out of Yahya, hoping to get info on the whereabouts of Nare and Sancar. Confess! Where are they? And of course, Yahya has no idea because he was not involved; he was framed by Kahraman and Akin. [remember when Gediz was the “image” of Sadiclar and Sancar was the “brute force”?]

Gediz screams in Yahya’s face, why would Akin send you two million? I don’t know, someone wants to put the blame on me, Yahya replies. Gediz’ fury continues, we’ve searched everywhere, where are they?! Yahya continues to proclaim his innocence. Gediz threatens, if something happens to Nare, you will not get out of here alive!

Yahya has a realization and says, will you let me live if something happens to Sancar? You don’t care about him, do you? You only mention Nare. Gediz freezes and Yahya continues, she is between you and your best friend, right? Does Nare know you love her? Does she know you are a desgraciado who has his eyes on his best friend’s woman? Gediz shouts, enough! And he belts Yahya again. This does not quiet Yahya, who says, hit me…kill me if you want because if I survive, I’m going to tell Nare everything. And it won’t be a false accusation like yours.

Kahraman arrives at Gediz’ house and Loki directs him down to the guest house. Kahraman encounters Muge and Elvan. Muge freaks out at the sight of Kahraman. She gets up and starts to walk away but doesn’t get very far. Kahraman gives Muge his best menacing stare as he approaches the ladies.

Elvan steps between them and asks what he wants. Where is Gediz? Elvan calls for Gediz and he comes out. He’s unpleasantly surprised by Kahraman’s visit. Kahraman informs them his men went looking for Nare and Sancar and have found their cars at the port of Gulluk.

Sancar can see the city lights and tries to wake Nare. He looks up at the sky—there it is! The alaca kuş! Look, Nare! She wakes and asks him if he is okay. Yes. She says, you swam like an idiot against those bullets. You jumped in front of one, he replies. Nare says, we are crazy. Or in love, Sancar says. Or in love, Nare repeats.

Cars pull up to the Gulluk port—Gediz, Elvan, Kahraman and his men. They arrive just in time to see the crazy wounded lovers make it to shore. Sancar lifts Nare and takes her off the boat. He places her into Gediz’ arms and promptly collapses on Kahraman. Gediz stands there in shock holding the unconscious Nare. Cut to Sancar and Nare being treated at the hospital. [edited out—Gediz crying and Elvan praying in the waiting area.]

Next morning, an ambulance and a fleet of cars show up at the Efeoglu mansion. Elvan hops out of the ambulance and runs to the back. The doors open and Sancar steps out, his arm in a sling. Sleeping Nare is taken out on a stretcher.

Elvan runs into the mansion with an announcement: Efeoglu family! Wake up! Everyone assembles at the hallway. What happened? Elvan looks at Meanie and takes great pleasure in telling her, the queen has returned. The family is alarmed as Nare is wheeled in followed by Sancar. An accident, Halise asks? Ayse comments, this house is turning into a hospital, where will we put her? Gulsiye asks Sancar if he’s ok and what happened to Nare? Atike pipes up, too.

Embajador S2 #3 part 2

Sancar shouts for silence. He says, someone hurt them. He assures them he’s fine and hopefully Nare will be, too. Nare will stay here until she recovers, he tells them. Halise is ok with that but Meanie objects. You are bringing your lover to the same house as your pregnant wife, she complains. I prefer Sancar’s answer in the original, you have a baby in your belly, she has a bullet in hers, shut up.

Sancar asks about Kavruk and is told he’s asleep. He rips the sling off his arm, takes Nare from the stretcher and carries her up to his refuge. Elvan follows holding Nare’s IV. Aww, poor Meanie is crying. [this bitch needs to go, and fast!]

Gediz shows up at the hospital and is told that Sancar took Nare to recover at his home. Gediz is pissed. [And why is this any of his business?]

Back at the refuge, the EMT tells Sancar that Nare should wake soon. He asks if he could stay with her. The EMT thinks that Sancar should rest, too. No, Sancar is staying. Ok, let us know when she wakes up, the EMT says and leaves.

Elvan asks Sancar if he is ok. Yes, Sancar replies without taking his eyes off Nare, but I am very scared. Elvan assures him that Nare will not give up because she is “Sancar’s Nare”. Sancar looks at Elvan with a worried smile. Elvan leaves them to check on the rest of the family.

Gulsiye meets up with Elvan outside the refuge and asks for the follow up from yesterday [Yahya doing something at work]. Yahya was guilty, he sold Nare for money, Elvan says. Gulsiye gasps. How do I tell Sancar? Elvan sobs in Gulsiye’s arms.

Sancar talks to his grandfather’s picture. Look, I brought my love to your house. Nare starts to stir and Sancar rushes to her. Nare, my love? She opens her eyes and asks, am I dead? No, Sancar smiles, no one died. She looks around. Am I at the mansion, she asks? Yes, in my room, Sancar answers.

Nare starts to get up. I’m going home, she tells him. No, Sancar objects, what are you doing? Nare raises her own objection, you brought me to the home of your wife? I should go to my daughter. She wants to get up. Sancar promises to bring Melek and wants her to promise she will stay put.

This is your castle, you will be protected here, he tells her, we don’t know who kidnapped you and Akin is still out there. Nare asks, is your wife here? What can I do, Sancar replies, she’s pregnant. Do nothing, Nare says, her place is here, it’s not mine.
I took an oath not to say your name again, she reminds him, and I’m not staying at your home. Sancar doesn’t understand. He says, you sacrified yourself for me and you don’t want to stay? Yes, I sacrificed, she answers, but I won’t stay here, I won’t say your name. She tries to get up again. He gently places her back down.

Sancar tries talk her out of going. Don’t see it as my house, but as my grandfather’s. You can leave when you are better. Nare asks him to put himself in her place. You try to stop me and at the same time you don’t want me to be here. It hurts everytime you do it. Imagine if my husband… he’s terrified at that thought and interrupts her, don’t finish that sentence, because my world will end, he says. Your world won’t end, she replies, but mine will, is that fair? Sancar ignores that question. He tells Nare he will bring Melek and he charges out of the room.

Sancar walks out of the mansion. He orders Hasan to keep his eyes open. He walks through the gate as Gediz screetches up in his car. Gediz makes a run at Sancar, he pushes him and shouts, how could you bring Nare to this house? To the same place as your wife! Gediz pushes Sancar again. Sancar pushes back, leave me alone! She’s hurt, he angrily explains, I don’t know who did this, should I leave her to her own luck?

Embajador S2 #3 part 3

Gediz responds, you could take her to a place where she won’t be hurt! And where is that, Sancar asks? Near me, Gediz replies. Sancar grabs Gediz by the collar, enough! He reminds Gediz about believing him and trusting him around Nare and that’s why he didn’t kill him. But now, don’t make me do it, an enraged Sancar warns him.

Gediz issues a challenge, go ahead do what you want, kill me. I am not going to fight against my conscience, he tells Sancar, this friendship is over! You will see love will win in the end, I’m sure of it!

Sancar looks as if he could murder Gediz on the spot, but somehow he doesn’t. Sancar spouts angry tears. He pushes Gediz away and tells him, your love will never win, but our friendship is lost forever. Gediz replies their friendship ended long ago and maybe it even lasted too long.

Nare appears in the driveway. She notices the men and they notice her. Sancar walks towards Nare. Gediz pulls him back and makes a proposition, let’s ask her if she wants to be a wound with you, or a love for me. Cue the Harmandalı. The men watch and wait as Nare slowly approaches them. She stops and looks at them both. She takes another step, Sancar reaches out before Gediz can and he catches her in his arms as she stumbles. Nare holds on to Sancar and Gediz is disappointed.

Sancar asks, what are you doing here, you’re hurt. What Sancar can’t see is Nare looking at Gediz. While she’s still in Sancar’s arms she asks Gediz, can you take me home please? Sancar’s turn to be disappointed. Gediz tells her of course, come, and he leads her away from Sancar.

Nare apologizes to Gediz for interrupting. Gediz says not to worry; he has something important to talk to her about. She nods ok. Gediz’s words echo in Sancar’s head and he gets that murderous look again as he watches Gediz help Nare to his car.

Countdown to explosion...3…2…1… Sancar runs to Gediz, turns him around and knocks him out cold with two punches. [you are entitled to your own opinion, but I’m kinda glad Sancar did this. I don’t like this Gediz, I liked other one.] Nare is horrified. Elvan, Gulsiye and Zehra witness this and are horrified, too.

Sancar grabs Nare and carries her back to the mansion over her strenuous objections. In her condition, she can’t put up much of a fight. Sancar issues and order to the guards, Gediz is not allowed to enter!

Sancar brings Nare back to the refuge and places her on the bed. She tells him, you have no idea how much I hate you. [and just a few hours before they were willing to die for each other and professed their love.]

Sancar laughs this off, do you hate me for the way I am or for what I did to Gediz? Both, she says, I hate you for everything you’ve done, not just to me, for my family… he stops her there, you hate me so much you saved my life? She tells him to get out. He sits her on the bed.

I don’t think you hate me, he says, I don’t think you know what it means to feel hatred. It’s your pride. And if you really do hate me, I understand, because I didn’t believe you at first. But I understand you. All the uncertainty has hurt you more than the bullet. I understand that you’d rather be shot a hundred times before staying under the same roof as me. He makes his case—you know you have no choice. If I’m going to protect you from the bullets, I need you to leave your hatred behind until I find Akin. Do you understand?

Nare asks if she’s going to be his prisoner. No, it’s not like that, Sancar says. He leaves her a phone. He tells her there’s a doctor downstairs and clothes for her to wear. Nare responds, I’m locked up in the house where you once promised I would come on Gece’s back. We get that flashback again.

Embajador S2 #3 part 4

Nare continues, you did not keep your promise, you married another, you imprisoned me here, but you didn’t make me your wife. [they still have the religious marriage, I don’t remember anyone saying the words to divorce.] Sancar tells her, I know that you don’t hate me, but I hate myself.

He turns to leave, and she asks a question that stops him, why did you hit Gediz? Sancar thinks of Gediz’ proposition, “a wound with you or a love for me”. Sancar replies, do you want me to lie? No, she doesn’t. Don’t ask, he tells her and he leaves her wondering. He also locks her in the room.

Sancar heads down to Kavruk’s room. Gulsiye passes him by holding a bucket of water.
Sancar enters Kavruk’s room. He’s alarmed to find Kavruk is out. Wasn’t he awake? Yes, but the medication makes him sleep. Sancar asks the nurse and Ayse to leave the room. He pulls up a chair to talk to his friend. Kavruk, wake up, I’m going crazy. You have to wake up, come on.

Gediz is propped up against his car. He’s still out cold and the ladies can’t wake him. Gulsiye comes with the bucket. In the original Elvan offers a "Bismillah" [in the name of Allah] and does the honors. That does the trick. Gediz sputters and coughs, what are you doing? He gets up. Sorry, Elvan says, you looked distressed, so I gave you a little water. She adds, maybe the water will put out the fire inside you and stop you from helping Sancar’s lover to escape.

Gediz tells her it’s none of her business. Don’t interfere or you will regret it, he says. She warns him not to get involved with a woman who doesn’t belong to him and asks, what was so important that you were going to say? Were you going to confess your love to Nare? It doesn’t concern you, Gediz shouts, leave me alone!

Elvan comes back, if I don’t meddle, you and Sancar will kill each other. One in prison, the other dead and my idiot husband will deliver Nare to that bastard Akin. He will surely try it again, taking the advantage of your absences. Akin will not give up. He shouts at Elvan to shut up.

I tell you one last thing before I shut up, she says. Elvan makes a strong case. You and Sancar are best friends, the enemy is out there and has allied with my miserable husband. This is not the time to fight between yourselves. Solve your problems and protect Nare together. Understand?

The message seems to get through to Gediz and he walks back to the mansion gate. Elvan calls after him and he tells her he won’t fight, he will talk, maybe they will kiss and make up afterward.

She asks him if he will tell about Yahya. Should I, he asks her? Elvan doesn’t want to be the one to tell Sancar his brother betrayed him, so, yes. She thinks it would be better coming from Gediz. She asks for his support. Gediz tells her, do you understand Sancar will destroy Yayha? She nods.

Gediz heads for the gate and Hasan stops him. Orders from Mr. Sancar, you are not to enter. Gediz can‘t believe this. He laughs, Sancar wouldn’t do this. Hasan is serious. Gediz goes over to the other guards. He puts his arms around them and says ironically, Not the honorable Mr. Sancar. He would never deny me entry to the mansion my grandfather built.

Gediz throws up his arms and tells Elvan, the friendship I had with Sancar has ended! He drives off.

And we are out.

Whew...for a minute there it looked like Nare wasn't going to survive...the writers gave us a scare. Kman pulled a fast one setting up Yaya and then coming through with the goods on where to find the lovebirds. He is still a horrible person for helping Akin kidnap Nare. Hope Sancar beats him down when he finds out he played a role in it...and hopes Kman's conscience eats him a live when he finds out what kind of person Akin really is. Sancar not wanting to hand Nare over to Gedez was so telling...but he had to since he instantly fainted in Kman's arms.

Thanks Dondi. Today was a free day so I was able to watch the epi this mornning over breakfast.

Whew ...what a scare...and now what a mess. Sancar wants to protect Nare by bringing her to his house but it is unfortunate that he has a pregnant wife there and it's an uncomfortable situation for everyone....even tho no one likes Meanie. Nare is right...Sancar gets to continue on with life and she's suppose to stop hers. Ridiculous. Does he plan to stay married to Meneske till after the baby is born...or until he knows he has a real chance with Nare again. Nare knows nothing of his plans and doesn't want to be the reason he leaves Meanie. He needs to firm up on this issue on is own regardless of where Nare stands.

Elvan does seem to have gotten thru to Gediz regarding teaming up find the enemy but not sure if Sancar's fear...jealousy...or pride will allow him to work with Gediz again...let alone let him near Nare. Sancar is afraid that Nare could fall for Gediz...or seek refuge in him since he is a free man...not married with a pregnant wife. And Gediz has never let her down.

Never the less.....that darn Akin is still on the loose. And Kman as well with no one realizing he's the accomplice behind the kidnapping. But didn't feel to bad for Yaya getting a beat down for something he didn't do...since he did help Meanie torture Melek with her pregnancy news. Hope the truth is revealed before Sancar finds out cause now sure Yaya will survive a beating from Sancar.

TU AMOR. Now we know exactly what Leonardo's phone call pretending to be Claudio was about. I'm surprised someone hasn't noticed his smirks when he continually denies he has anything to do with it. Also, how will he keep Claudio from doing a voice analysis of the recoding? I kind of think Claudio shouldn't have mentioned that possibility. Wonder how long Leo will get away with this set of lies. Ricardo is openly romancing both Val and Rosamaria and Rosa seems aware that he's up to something--but still supports him. Ugh! I wonder if Ricardo in fact no longer loves Val, but definitely needs to use her to get access to that bank account of embezzled money. Val was great at enlisting Camila to save everyone at Helena's company. It helps them all, but Camila most of all. What a sisterhood! And all this plotting may come back to bite Yolanda--given her accusations against Helena, which may turn out to be slander--as both Beba and Patricia point out. The Mother Superior was awfully judgmental about Ricardo's kissing Val and won't listen to explanations--not that I'm surprised. I hope Claudio (her free attorney and orphanage baseball coach) sits her down and explains what is really going on.

Rgv Chick, I agree, Kman (thanks for the abbreviation, Nett) is a sharp guy. Ha, ha a beanie moment? There’s always a lurker, isn’t there? Gediz was stupid to hold that meeting on Kman’s turf, so of course he’s gonna spy. That might be the real beanie moment.

I must tell you, Nina, ever since you dropped that Miami Vice comment, I can’t look at Gediz without thinking, Sonny Crockett. And you are 100% right about Gediz’ treatment of Dudu. Gediz told her life wasn’t fair. Poor girl is an orphan, I think she knew that already. “There never gonna blame the man.” The only man who gets blamed on this show, other than the villains, is Sancar.

Niecie, you’re right, Sancar did try to keep some of his promises. One that Halise didn’t give a damn about. And I also enjoyed Dudu’s realization about her “Prince Charming”.

AMOT, thanks for the nomination, but I’ll defer to the master recappers I’ve enjoyed following here over the years. My hat is off to all the amazingly insightful commenters, too. Oh, how much we enjoy dissecting, discussing, delighting in and/or disparaging, our TNs! Maybe at the end of Embajador, I’ll give out my own awards for the show.

Niecie explained it well and I’d like to clarify my recap: Kman called Akin for his help in framing Yahya. He asked Akin to deposit the 2 million directly into Yahya’s account. We just didn’t hear that on camera, we found out when everyone else did.

About the Turkish moms, I think it’s part cultural, part stereotyping and part dramatic license.

Wanted to mention there was a scene cut from the previous night when Kman found out Ceylan had Nare’s phone. Ceylan went on about the legend and she started singing the song. She was so taken by the fact that Sancar sacrificed his life so gallanty to rescue Nare. Kman was pissed. He told her Sancar was no hero, he (Kman) was the real hero. [Kahraman means hero in Turkish!] He was angry that Sancar didn’t live long enough to grieve the loss of Nare like he did for his wife. Ceylan called him out on this and said, you didn’t do this for the money, you hated Sancar and wanted him to suffer.

SpanProf, I think that Ricardo only wants Valentina for her signature. He was so good at laying a guilt trip on Valentina which was only reinforced by Dora. I think he is a duplicitous rat and Dr. Rosa is so very gullible in spite of suspecting there is a problem somewhere with him in addition to his possible stroke risk. Dr.Rosa wouldn’t mind being the “other woman”? That is the impression she is giving no magter what she says.

A few thoughts:

It was too bad that Claudio had to admit that Nora had real talent. Bah humbug! On the other hand, I did like Leonardo telling her he couldn’t stand immature girls who threw tantrums. Now I guess they are stuck with her because she is such a talent and they don’t want to give Yolanda that advantage.

The surgeon only needed to be bought off by Andrés for Guillermo to get bounced up to the top of the heart transplant list. Money always talks in these novelas.

It is interesting that when the rich look for advanced medical care in these novelas, they always seem to choose Houston.

Also, there was the ubiquitous Mac in disguise once more on Claudio’s desk.

Yay! for Camila for saving the day for Helena.


 

TU AMOR. Well, Jarifa, Houston does have excellent medical care, and a lot of people speak Spanish. I say that as someone who has a grown daughter who lives there. :) I think Leonardo may have manipulated the photos of Nora to make her look more talented than she actually was. Good observations on Ricardo and Rosa and on the ease of buying people off to get to the top of the transplant list. Enrique owes so much to Enrique, though, that I can kind of understand why he does it.

Dondi, thank you so much for describing every moment of this tense episode. I especially appreciate it because my cable went out, and i missed the tge first ten minutes.

San and Gediz remind me of two stags butting heads . It is scary seeing two big guys go at each other . I have seen it a few times , and it is frightening . With all that full force pushing and shoving, i wonder if the actors ever get hurt or mad that the violence becomes too real.

San and Nare go around and around, willing to die to protect each other but unable to reconcile. Both are bullheaded and unable to come to some kind of compromise . It seems that in this story, true love does not conquer all. This tale frustrates me because one day one of them will be the first to die and the other will grieve forever and wish he\she had found a way to be with that departed soulmate. No chance after death takes one of them away. It makes me grateful for a gentle, peaceful, uncomplicated love.

Elvan and Gediz have an interesting relationship. Elvan is a steadfast friend to both San and Nare. Gediz wants Nare for himself , and El will not accept that.

Will Gediz and Elvan ever find out that Yayhe was not responsible for Nares kidnapping ? And how does Kman plan to get the money back from Yay's account ?

I cannot wait to see what happens tonight. Gediz is not going to give up, but he and San shoukd listen to wise Elvan...both of them need to concentrare on protecting Nare from Akin . I completely understand San feeling that the only place he can truly protect Nare is in his mansion with his trusted men surrounding it. We have seen Nare attacked by those men sent by Necdet and now Akin . Nare thinks she can take care of herself, but we have seen that she cant.

I am really liking the Turkish TNs, but without someone like you to help us with more accurate interpretations of the dialogue, I would be somewhat frustrated..as if being frustrated with the characters isn't enough. Thank you for guiding us through this tumultuous story.

Susanlynn, "San and Nare go around and around, willing to die to protect each other but unable to reconcile. Both are bullheaded and unable to come to some kind of compromise." So aggravating, isn't it? I'm wondering if they would make it IF they ever do come to some kind of compromise.

Nina, I don't have to express my thoughts on Thursday's episode; you've covered everything quite well, so DITTO to your entire comment. Sancar lost alot of points he had gained in the last few episodes. I just want to throw something at him! He's like a child with toys; he wants all of them to himself.

TU AMOR. It gets ever more obvious that Ricardo doesn't really love Val, but is just trying to take advantage of her to get access to his bank account. He's even almost said as much to both Rosa and Nora. Couldn't he arrange some other scam, like a signature to "cancel" their joint "insurance policy," or is he afraid Val wo run everything by Claudio? Val is almost too good. She is being compassionate toward Ricardo but doesn't realize (at least completely) that he's not worthy of her sympathy. What a coincidence that Leo's call didn't get recorded! I think it's nice that Claudio and Enrique seem to be becoming friends--they both seem like good men (even though Enrique lets himself be used by Patricia), and with the use of Guillermo's foundation to save the orphanage, it's as if each one was thinking that there but for the grace of God goes he. And what is up with Nora? Is she not just bratty and immature but downright nutty? She's an entitled ingrate, who instead of being grateful that she's getting modeling training for nothing, she thinks she should be named a supermodel right away and be paid a big salary. She also seems to be trying to carry on with both Leo and Ricardo, apparently for the purpose of undermining Val and for her own material gain. Evil or crazy? Hmm. And the writers teased us again with some apparent revelations in Horacio's photos Val is looking at. Again hmm.

I’ll be watching last night’s ep in a short while. But I want to offer a few comments first.

IMHO, the “rescue at sea” episodes were some of the very best of this show and those damn writers [and Uni edits] immediately went to work on destroying any thing good that could come from it.

Sancar is far from perfect and he’s made a couple of massive mistakes. But I don’t see him as selfish. He takes it as his solemn responsibility to protect Nare, Melek and yes, his unborn child. Unfortunately, he goes about this in a very heavy-handed way. I’ll put some of the blame on his baby mommas. They don’t make it easy for him.

Sancar was ready to cut Meanie loose with a generous settlement. Too bad he knocked her up. She came back to the mansion because the pregnancy is high risk and he warned Meanie that the baby is the only reason she’s there. He also warned her if she did anything to Melek, he would take the baby from her after it’s born.

Nare needs to stop and realize that she can’t just go on with her life while Akin is on the loose. This is what Sancar was trying to tell her up in Grandpa Efe’s room. Sometimes the bird of the legend acts like a birdbrain. Did she forget what just happened? She’s got a guy who’s willing to die for her and willing to kill for her. She should listen to him a little.

Nett, I do agree that Sancar is a bit fearful of Nare being around Gediz now that he’s certain he can no longer trust Gediz around Nare.

TU AMOR. It appears that Yolanda has an m.o. and Consuelo was her first victim. She hires a very talented young designer, pays them something for their designs and then fires them and tries to prevent them from getting other design work. Helena and Valentina were both victims of the same nastiness. There may have been others. Really an evil character, who, as I have said before, may be injuring herself and her company as well by firing people who could have been an asset to the company for years.

TU AMOR. Steve: Well, we know she resents Consuelo because Yolanda's fiancee had left her for Consuelo. And I guess Yolanda had had an affair with Guillermo, Helena's estranged father. But maybe she's just mean and greedy and likes hurting and cheating other people.
 

Embajador S2 #4 part 1

Sancar is sitting by Kavruk’s bedside, his head in his hand. Kavruk wakes to see his Efe and Efe gives him a big smile. Yes, I’m here, Kavruk. Calm down and rest. Kavruk takes a look at Sancar’s bandaged arm and tells him, if you are really suffering, I will get up and give you my bed. They laugh. Sancar goes over to give him a hug and asks how he’s doing.

Kavruk says he’s doing better and notices that Sancar has something on his mind. Tell me, Kavruk says, tell me what happened. Or do you plan to avoid the topic? Sancar tells him someone helped Akin to kidnap Nare. Then Nare took a bullet that was meant for me.

Kavruk is alarmed. What are you saying, Sancar? This is all my fault, he frets, I did not do my duty and I have disappointed you. How is Nare? I must go to see her. He tries to get up, but Sancar settles him back down—don’t get up. I’m just grateful you are alive, Sancar tells him, Nare is safe.

We see Nare coming down the stairs. [Didn’t Sancar lock her in the room?] She picks up Sancar’s sling from the stairs. She stops when she hears the voices from Kavruk’s room and listens.

Sancar says, they shot her, but she recovered. Kavruk knowingly says, the bird is fine, even though you're not, right? Sancar tells him of the promise he made to become a bad man if Nare left him. Kavruk asks, so what did you do now? I locked her in the mansion, Sancar replies. Nare rolls her eyes outside the door.

Seriously, you locked her up to protect her from the bad guys, Kavruk smiles and asks, so what’s the problem? She will live here with Menekse, says a very guilty Sancar. This is her (Nare’s) home, he tells Kavruk, it was always going to be hers. She shouldn't have to be upset by the presence of another woman.

Kavruk replies, the past is not worth crying over and fortunately, no one died. You’ve made many mistakes, but this is not one of them, Kavruk assures him. You can look after the bird here. You made a good decision. Sancar jumps from his chair and raises his voice, then why do I feel alone and without support? Kavruk answers, men like you don't need anyone else. Your leadership will bring you glory. Nare wipes her eye.

Nare enters the room. Let's forget that for now, she tells Sancar, you need to heal your arm. She hands him the sling. He stares at her, how did you get out? In the original she said, I am not only Sancar’s Nare, I am also the ambassador’s daughter. I’ve been locked up in many places. She hands him a bobby pin! Sancar looks amazed and a bit impressed.

Nare asks Kavruk to slide over on the bed. She climbs in next to him. Kavruk does what he can to make her comfortable. Nare tells him, if I'm going to be in this prison, I need an ally close at all times. Maybe you can even write me a verse.

Sancar questions, are you really going to stay with him? Nare replies, did you think that I would stay alone, crying in that room? Not going to happen. I am going to make your life impossible, she tells Sancar. Big smile from Sancar. Do it, he says, it’s what I want. Nare tells him to find Akin right away, otherwise it will be worse.

I’ll do as you say, he tells her, I’ll go for Melek first and then I’ll go find Akin. He takes his jacket and starts to go. She orders him to wear the sling. He complies. He puts his hand over his heart and says, with your permission, princess. [He called her Nare Efe in the original.] Kavruk has a good time laughing about that after Sancar leaves.

Ceylan announces, Kahraman, the man who shot the bird is here. Kman jumps from his seat. What are you doing here in the daytime, he asks Akin? And to Ceylan, why are you out? Nare saw you, he tells her. I told you not to leave your room! But someone was knocking at the door, Ceylan replies. Kman is pissed. Don't answer me! Why don't you just go out on the streets and scream, we kidnapped the bird? He orders her to get in the house.

Embajador S2 #4 part 2

Kman grabs Akin, what are you doing here? What do you want? Akin says, you accepted my money and gave me idiots who hit me on the head! What's the matter with you? Were you trying to deceive me? Kman thinks Akin should be grateful he didn't get shot in the head.
Akin wants Kman to follow through with their deal. Kman tells him he did; he kidnapped the girl. Not his problem that Akin shot her. Kman says he’s done with Akin and tells him to get out.

Akin’s not going anywhere, and he threatens Kman—what would Sancar do if he finds out that you kidnapped Nare and slandered his brother? Kman says, Sancar will look for evidence and the two million you transferred to Yahya will incriminate you. Akin has an ace up his sleeve or maybe it’s just the phone in his pocket with a recording. We hear Kman asking Akin to transfer two of the twelve million to Yahya.

Kman rubs his head in frustration and irritation. Akin tells Kman, I love her and you're going to hand her over to me. Not so easy, Kman says, Sancar has her protected. He locked her in his mansion.

Akin is surprised to hear this. Nare’s in the mansion with his wife? Yes, and his wife went crazy. How do you know this, Akin asks? I am Kahraman Boz, and I am everywhere! And I’ll tell you something else, the Kman says, Sancar’s men are looking for you everywhere and when they find you, they will tear you to pieces.

Akin realizes he has to get Nare quickly and leave before they find him. Kman reminds him they have already set the trap on Yahya. Now they need a little patience. Sancar will eventually lower his guard, and we will attack. Akin agrees and tells Kman he will stay with him because he thinks it’s a good place to hide. Akin then asks Kman to find a way to introduce him to Sancar's wife since they both don’t want Nare in the mansion. We could form an alliance. Kman looks as if his head will explode.

Sancar goes into Meanie’s bedroom to get a change of clothes. [why does he keep his clothes in there?] He tells Meanie he’s going to get Melek and he doesn't want trouble while while he’s gone. He notices Meanie has a bandaged hand.

Flashback to Meanie yelling at Halise in the hall about Nare living there. Halise ushers Meanie back into her room and tells Elvan and Zehra to bring Nare back upstairs. There’s broken glass all over the floor and Halise order Meanie and her mom to clean it up before Sancar returns. Meanie cuts her hand. Halise is fed up with Meanie’s behavior, and lets her have it. She uses Nare as an example saying, she was willing to sacrifice her life for Sancar. I wish you were like her! Meanie asks Halise who was the shooter and kidnapper. Halise can’t remember the name, but it was someone Nare knew from childhood.

[This was a longer scene in the original. After Nare arrived at the mansion, Meanie went nuts and threw every tchotchke in the room against the wall. She ran out into the hall and stopped Nare as she was going to make her escape from the mansion. Nare apologized to Meanie and told her not to worry, she was leaving now. Meanie grabbed Nare’s hand and placed it on her pregnant belly and ordered her to apologize to her baby! Halise had to step in at this point. Meanie continued to rant and this is the where we came in on the flashback.]

Meanie tells Sancar her hand isn’t important. She just cut herself. She asks Sancar if they caught the guy who kidnapped Nare. Is that why you brought your lover to our home, she asks? You want to protect her? Yes, he tells her, I want to protect her. And she is not my lover, she is the mother of my daughter. Meanie whines, you protect your daughter's mother, and your wife suffers the consequences. Sancar leaves and Meanie tells her mom, I must meet Nare's kidnapper.

Embajador S2 #4 part 2

Gediz arrives home all riled up. Where is Melek? Just out of the shower and Refika is helping her. Muge is concerned, she told Melek her mother would be coming soon. Was that a mistake, she asks?

Muge takes a look at Gediz’ face and asks, what happened to you? Gediz doesn’t answer that, he asks about Yahya. Loki’s watching him. She asks again, what happened to you? Sancar hit me, he replies. Another fight, Muge asks in exasperation. Gediz is annoyed, yes we fought and it was personal.

Muge doesn’t understand. Gediz tells her, Sancar forbade me entrance to the mansion… where he lives thanks to me! The son of a peasant banned me from my grandfather’s mansion! Muge tries to calm her brother. I know you went out this morning to pick up Nare from the hospital, Muge recounts. Then Sancar threw you out of the mansion. Did he take Nare to the mansion, Muge asks? Yes, he locked her away in the mansion, Gediz replies, and the idiot freaked out because I planned to confess what I feel.

That you were in love with Nare, Muge asks? I’m not talking about the past, Muge, I’m talking about the present, Gediz says, and I'm not going to give up. Muge tells Gediz that’s enough. Why is that? Sancar locked her up against her will, he tells his sister, and she asked me to rescue her from the mansion!

Yes, but she asked you for help as a friend, Muge counsels, and if she finds out you're in love with her-- Maybe she will think that I have betrayed her, Gediz interrupts He asks pointedly, could it do her any more harm than what Sancar has already done? Muge replies, she may be used to it, but she doesn't expect it from you. You will make a very serious mistake.

Very well, he says, I'll make the mistake until the end. What do you mean by that? Gediz begins, she will realize that the love of her life is not Sancar. Every time she sees me, she will think "that man is in love with me." I will surprise her with a small Gediz-style bomb. I don't know how she will react, but at least I know she's going to think about it. She hasn’t understood until now or has pretended not to understand. But I've thought about it enough.

Nare asks Kavruk, what if she loves you? What if she did everything for you out of love? All i know, is that I don’t know, Kavruk answers. What do you mean? Kavruk says, it's impossible, it makes no sense. Nare says, you just told me when you woke up, Zehra was by your side, and she was trying to feed you. She got upset with Ayse. She acts that way because she is very much in love. Kavruk can’t accept this. It can’t be this easy. Nare agrees yes, it’s not simple.

We can suppose she’s not in love, Nare says, and what about you? You committed to Ayse, but you love Zehra. Do you want to give up and sacrifice your happiness? Kavruk says he doesn’t have hope. Zehra could be in love, Nare says. Kavruk laughs, why would she fall in love with a man who works for her.

Nare mocks, oh, how sad. This isn’t about the rich girl and the poor boy. I lived that story, she says, it’s not your life. Kavruk reminds her, you two could never get married. He was poor and she was the ambassador's daughter. Even you can’t make the impossible possible. Kavruk says, my situation is worse because Zehra is a star, and I am a servant. Nare thinks all that matters is that the star notices him.

Kavruk feels Zehra will never notice someone like him. At least Nare had a chance. It will never happen to him with Zehra. Why? Because Zehra is a very beautiful, unique star that I will never reach. She is very far from me.

Embajador S2 #4 part 4

Ayse comes in with a tray of fruit. She is surprised to find Nare there. Nare explains she is a prisoner, and she came to visit her friend. And what are you doing, she asks Ayse? I’m bringing a tray of fruit to my fiancé. Zehra walks in and asks, how are patients feeling today? She grabs the tray from Ayse, you brought us fruit today. Thank you so much!

Nare comments, oh, cherries….bring them closer. There are also apricots and plums. Zehra plops her self in the bed right between Nare and Kavruk. Ayse just stands there, nothing she can do about it. Zehra and Nare start eating and Ayse reminds them to share some with Kavruk. Nare says Kavruk doesn’t deserve any because she’s mad at him.

Halise comes in to spoil the fun. What's going on here? Ayse says it’s all good, she’s just talking with friends. Kavruk says Ayse prepared a tray of fruit. Halise tells him his fiancee is a very attentive girl. Eat the fruit and recover because we need you. Your wedding will take place soon. Zehra coughs and Nare pats her back. Nare shoots Kavruk a look to mean “see what I mean?”

Kman shows up at the mansion with two bouquets of flowers. He’s there to see Nare. Hasan searches him at the gate, Efe’s orders.

Nare asks Zehra, do women also dance the zeybek at weddings? No, Zehra says, that doesn't happen. But these days some girls dance with their grooms. Nare thinks that's unfortunate. You and I could have danced the zeybek, but it seems that only Ayse will dance. Nare smiles and Zehra coughs on the fruit again. Kavruk makes a silent plea to Nare. She hands him a plum.

Gulsiye announces a visitor and Kman enters. He’s taken aback at the sight of the three in the bed. Zehra immediately gets up. She welcomes him and apologizes for not thanking him sooner and there is much to be thankful for. Why? Zehra replies that Melek and Kavruk are safe and he also took Sancar and Nare to the hospital. This exchange is surface polite but uncomfortable for both Kman and Zehra.

Nare takes a turn to thank Kman. She calls him a great man and a guardian angel for Melek. And she asks, right Zehra? Sure, Zehra replies, but Lucifer is also an angel, and we know that he’s evil. Kman hands Nare a bouquet and says get well. And the other bouquet? It’s for Efe’s wife, Kman explains, to congratulate her on the baby. It would be very disrespectful to ignore her presence, he says.

Kman turns to Zehra and says, the hate is over. We are partners now and I have come to visit. Are you going to offer me a cup of coffee? Zehra asks him, how do you prefer your poison? Sugar or no sugar? Kman answers, black. Zehra leaves. Kman says, I pity her husband; I don’t know what I would do if she was my daughter. Kavruk gives Kman a real dirty look. Nare smiles at Kavruk. Kman asks if Sancar has managed to locate Akin yet.

Sancar and Elvan arrive at Gediz’ house to pick up Melek. She stops him before they go to the door. Brother, I lied, she tells him. What? I didn't come here for Melek, she says, I will tell you the truth. What are you talking about? Tell me. It's about Yahya, she says, he has made a lot of mistakes. And? Elvan mentions getting Necdet out of jail, kicking her out of the mansion and planning to divorce her to marry someone else. Do you remember, she asks Sancar?

Flashback: Sancar gives Yahya the business card of a famous American doctor who is in Istanbul. A gynecologist. He thinks Yahya should take Elvan. Yahya’s not interested. Elvan has come halfway up the stairs and is listening. The doctor already told us that it is impossible, Yahya says, why keep trying? Sancar tries to be encouraging, your wife is very depressed, why give up so soon? There are treatments.

Embajador S2 #4 part 5

Yahya says, maybe I’ll divorce and marry another woman. Sancar raises his voice, what did you say!? Yahya reminds Sancar he was forced to marry because he (Sancar) refused to marry. Yahya accuses Sancar of doing this to save himself from having to marry. Yahya says he will give Halise the grandson she wants whether it’s from Elvan or another woman. Sancar loses it and grabs his brother by the throat. I'm going to kill you, you idiot! Sancar notices Elvan’s reflection in a mirror. She breaks into sobs. End flashback

Sancar wonders why she’s bringing up the past. There were reasons in the past but now Yahya has made a big mistake that she cannot cover up. Elvan isn’t sure she should tell Sancar ... because she is afraid that he will want to kill him. Sancar gets impatient, what did Yahya do? Elvan drops the bomb, he helped Akin kidnap Nare. Uh, oh…

Kman finishes his poison… err….coffee and says he should go. See you at the marina, he says to Nare. Kman leaves and Kavruk tells Nare he detests that man. She tells him not to behave like sadiclar. The man saved Melek and he saved you. He's a good guy, Nare says, Kavruk says he only pretends to be, he doesn't fool me, and he knows it.

Kman visits Meanie. Sorry to bother you, I am Sancar’s partner, Kahraman. I came to visit Ms.Nare, but I wanted to congratulate you on the baby. He gives her the flowers. Kman wastes no time and quietly asks Meanie, is the presence of ... Ms. Nare in the mansion…distressing? Meanie asks how he knows, this is a private family affair. Don't worry, Kman says, find an excuse to go out tomorrow. I left my card in the flowers. Contact me and I'll send you the location. I will save you. Atike and Meanie wonder how that man knows about Nare and how he will save them.

Gediz answers the door. Sancar can’t even look at him. Gediz asks why Sancar is looking for the man he just hit. I’m here for Melek, Sancar says, and I know my brother is here. My whole family comes here, Sancar snarks. Gediz looks at Elvan, did you tell him? Yes. Great, where do we bury Yahya, Gediz asks Sancar. Sancar says take him to the marina and I will question him before I bury him. He’s got some doubts about being able to control himself.

Sancar brushes past Gediz and into the house. He shouts for Melek, and she quickly comes down the stairs. Dad! Lots of hugs and kisses. Sancar missed his daughter, and she says that she missed him, too. But she is still upset. Sancar asks, what can I do so you can forgive me? I know how i'm going to forgive you, be patient, you'll see. And patience is not one of Sancar’s strengths, so he asks his daughter again to tell him. Divorce and marry my mother, Melek answers. Everyone looks a bit sad and uncomfortable except for Gediz, he’s enjoying it.

Sancar starts to explain. Melek interrupts, I know, Menekse will have a baby. It’s no problem, we will keep the baby. You said you committed a mistake when you got married, she tells her father, now correct your mistake. Sancar replies he would be making another serious mistake. Melek stands firm, you were wrong, you upset my mother, you cheated on both of us. Now you are going to correct your mistake. Melek walks over to Elvan, where is my mother? We came to take you to her, Elvan says, Let's go, Melek says, and she walks out the door. Elvan follows her out but Sancar is stopped by Gediz, we have to talk, he says.

Gediz takes Sancar to task, you’re going put that little girl with Menekse? Sancar fires back, didn’t you learn your lesson? Don’t interfere in my family problems! Gediz yells, oh, what an exemplary family, your lover, your wife, and a child from each! All living together! How could you?

Embajador S2 #4 part 6

How dare you, Sancar shouts, you’re attracted to your best friend's woman! What the hell is wrong with you? Gediz does not consider that Nare is Sancar’s woman. You lost her when you threw her out of the mansion, he shouts, and now you locked her in your jail!
You better shut up, Sancar warns Gediz. I’m not interested in hearing your stupidity. Are you going to hold the hand of the woman I love? Can you still look at the face of your best friend? What happened to you?

Sancar pours his heart out, when I thought about losing Nare and the pain bled me dry, your friendship helped me survive! You were my support for nine years, he tells Gediz, more than a friend, you were like a brother to me! I could never betray you, Sancar says, but you were able to do it to me.

We both fight for our own truths, Gediz responds. Don't you dare, Sancar advises, a war is going to ruin the three of us. You destroyed me, that's okay, but leave her alone.
Gediz asks, why would I ruin Nare? Because she will never be your lover, Sancar replies, but you will lose a great friend. Gediz says maybe it won’t be like that, so why not take the opportunity? Sancar tries to convince his friend that Nare will never give him a chance.

Sancar gives his final warning to Gediz and gives him the opportunity to shut up and forget about this. I did not take your life because once we were best friends, he explains, I had mercy on you. Now that's over. Do you really want to be my enemy? You know what I do to my enemies, don't you? If you speak to Nare, you will become ...one more enemy. Sancar leaves him with that thought.

Friendship is not forever, Gediz says to himself, we will be enemies.

And we are out.

SpanProf, interesting analyses of these characters. ITA that Valentina is “almost too good”. It is a pet peeve of mine when they make the FEMALE (not male) protagonistas so very good that it borders on stupidity. Is that something to be emulated? Nothing attractive about being clueless and then having to suffer for it. At least, Valentina had the spidey sense to ask Claudio about Leonardo’s character and trustworthiness so there is hope for her after all. Too bad that Claudio’s eyes are not open when it comes to Leonardo but I am sure that will change by the end. “Entitled ingrate” says it all about Nora. She is such liability to herself and everyone else. She just had to tell Ricardo about the baby. Good news: 1. (maybe) that Guillermo’s foundation is saving the orphanage. 2. Claudio and Valentina have made peace with the nun with their marriage in the chapel and the adoption is back on track.
 

TU AMOR ep 27

Hello everyone. I'm back from my trip. Was very windy so no bugs and I caught some fish as well. I'm trying to get caught up again and am posting this short recap

Leonardo asks Valentina not to tell Claudio about their conversation because he's violent and has a short fuse. Claudio comes into the room right after Leonardo leaves. He assures Val that they'll solve the problem with the mother superior. That she'll realize that Ricardo is harassing her and that they'll always be together. They later explain everything together at the orphanage. That Ricardo was actually looking for Camila and wasn't expecting to see Val. He was the other survivor in the crash. The sister confesses that she thought the worst of them. When she saw them kissing - whoa - she still has to cover her eyes just thinking about it. Claudio changes the topic. He asks if they can be married in the chapel at the orphanage. Of course. This ends all the awkwardness. And he's having dinner with someone who can help them with the eviction. Later, he meets with Enrique who says Guillermo's foundation will help take care of the orphanage.

Enrique and Ricardo are having coffeee in a nice restaurant. Enrique tells him that he believes him. Ricardo says he'll let him know when he finds the girls and then they can tell Guillermo. Enrique says not to waste time because it's at a premium. Ricardo wonders what that means. Is Guillermo sick? Enrique says no, he just took him for his check-up and everything was fine. Don't delay in telling the girls that one of them is Guillermo's daughter and stay in touch. When he leaves, Ricardo thinks to himself that Enrique is an imbecile.

Adelaida pops in to Helena's house for a visit. Majo leaves so they can talk. Val's had a crazy morning but that's why Adelaida came. She says she heard all the gossip and everything that happened. Helena asks what her father said about it. Adelaida says that he was working and wouldn't know anything about it but she came because she has something urgent to tell her. Sooner or later Helena will find out and Adelaida would prefer that she heard it from her. Guillermo has another daughter and wants her as an heir. Helena doesn't want to hear about it. She doesn't care if she has 100 other sibs. That's Guillermo's problem. He can do what he wants with his money. She doesn't need it. She's been on her own since he kicked her out at 16. Everything she has, she earned by herself. She'll give her money to sick kids if she doen't have any of her own. The worst is that he treated Helena as his worst enemy. Val tells Claudio they can't keep fighting. They're having drinks in an outdoor cafe. He keeps imagining the kiss at the hospital. She accidently calls him Ricardo - OOPS! He doesn't want her seeing him again. Val asks if he's giving her an order. Smartly, he says no and apologizes. He trusts Val but can't stand Ricardo being near her. He knows that he's hiding something. She only asks one thing. She wants to help him as a friend. He'll eventually realize that she's in love with Claudio. Oh, by the way, Helena is going to let Nora work as a modeling apprentice. Oh, Val thought she was going to work as a model. Claudio says obviously not. The whole thing would be ridiculous. Val has concerns about her sister being near Leonardo. Caludio gives him a luke warm endorsement. He grew up with him and at least he's not a rapist or a killer. (He puts drugs in women's drinks though) Also, he knows that Nora is his cousin. It should be fine. There is a dust up later when Val tells Nora that she'll be starting as a model apprentice. Not only is she insulted by this but angry that she won't be making any money. She's sick of living in their crumby room. She leaves in a huff and runs into Ricardo who is looking for Camila. He didn't realize that Claudio was her cousin. He invites her for a drink so they can talk. She tells him how badly they were treated by Patricia and how great Claudio is to Val. He asks for her help in getting her back. When Nora asks what she gets out of helping him, he tells her she'll get what she always wanted and gives her a smooch. Gross.
He seems intersted in learning that Val wants to adopt a baby from the orphanage. When he has another spell, Nora tries helping him with more kisses.

Camila, Mina, Hector, and Connie are in the kitchen talking about what happened. Helena cancelled the promotion that was done before the accident out of respect for Camila. It was released by accident although they were trying to put the blame on Claudio. Consuelo drops some plates when she hear's Yolanda Pratas mentioned. She looks pretty shaken and they ask her if she's OK. Later, she tells Val that Yolanda stole her first 10 designs when she opened her studio. She never turned her in but Yolanda paid a price anyway. Her novio fell in love with Connie and left Yolanda at the altar. He gave Connie three beautiful children. Yolanda swore to get revenge and is capable of anything.

Claudio thinks about being in love with Val since he first saw her. Valentina thinks about loving Claudio but having to help Ricardo. Ricardo thinks about getting his money back by getting Val to love him again so she'll sign papers without reading them. Claudio signs for some flowers that were sent to Valentina. She sees them and says they are her favorites, how did he know? This is rather awkward since they were sent by Ricardo. Claudio must be angry with her because he doesn't answer her calls.

Like you, i wondered if the writers and actors forgot that San locked tge Princess up in the tower ...er ..room .Nare can pick locks due to her father locking her up in the past ????

I have no idea where this story is headed. Usually telenovelas present starcrossed lovers who overcome the interference of evil people and the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune to be together bythe finale. However, i am wondering if that will happen here or if there will be a different outcome for these 2 supposed soulmates, Will the death of one of them finally end the nonstop ,tragic , painful push and pull between them ? This whole storyline frustrates me. Everyone seems so tragic . Is the message going to be " love hurts, love scars??because it does. If soulmates dont die together, one is left scarred and hurting. I dont see a happy ending for San and Nare. Gediz is just stirring the pot of angst and futile longing for all three of them while evil lurks in the form of Akin,Kman, Guven , and Meanie . The good guy team of Gediz , Elvan,Tuvrak has weakened with T injured ahd Gediz determined to pursue Nare. Uff

I just realized I left out the battle between Meticha and Lucha, the head maid and the ranch assistant. I think the writers were having fun at their expense. Meticha said that Lucha smells like the cows and Lucha accused Meticha of wanting to steal from the boss. Meticha bad mouthed Lucha to Patricia and Lucha did the same to Meticha with Guillermo. I looked up the meaning of their names Meticha = nosey and Lucha = fight/struggle. I don't know if they're supposed to be comic relief or will eventually have something to do with the plot line.

I can’t fathom what could have transpired to have her thrown out of her home, still a child.

So a bit more of Consuelo’s past is revealed. Can’t wait for Yolanda to fall. Her and her little dog Beba too!

I wonder if Nora is capable of caring for anyone. In addition to Leo, Ricardo is gong to use her too.

Yes, the conflict between Meticha and Lucha was funny, though in a "Let's make fun of the lower classes" kind of way. I noticed that Meticha assumed that because Lucha was from the country she must be illiterate.

I hate to see Gediz ruin his friendship with Sancar and maybe with Nare too by professing his love. But he'll explode if he doesn't.

I enjoy watching Kahraman because he exists in shades of grey. He busts out with some funny lines. I love his facial expressions, head rubbing, bead breaking. And he wears silk PJs. He’s a great adversary for Sancar and Gediz. Purely evil characters like Akin get stupid and boring after while and the anvil can’t drop soon enough.

LOL, Nina: “fatal wedding plans That nobody wants.” Poor Kavruk is the latest victim. I like your bicycle analogy, too.

Yes, Susanlynn, Nare has been locked up before and learned to pick locks. Just another clue into how awful her childhood was.

IMHO, Uni has snipped things they should have left in. I try to mention the ones that I think are important or interesting. And a lot of the translations lose the richness of the original. Why have Sancar say “princess” instead of “Nare Efe”? This is a Turkish show for goodness sakes, let it keep its identity. End rant.
