Embajador S2 #22 part 1

Yayha calls Kman from the olive grove office. Kavruk is with him as support. Yayha starts his act of great distress, Melek is not awake yet, are you happy? Will you be glad if she dies? Kman asserts, I explained last night, I had nothing to do with what happened to the girl. I was not near her. Why do you think I would do something like that to the girl?

Yahya counters, I wouldn't be able to do something like that to a child either, but that didn't stop my brother from coming back from the hospital and giving me a beating. You and Akin made a mess but I’m paying! It’s not fair, it's enough! Kman insists he did nothing and asks Yahya what he wants.

Yahya has had enough. I'm going to leave this country as soon as possible, he says, if you want my shares, buy them. If not, I'll sell to someone else. Gediz and Zehra will fight for the presidency. With my shares, Gediz will become president.

Kman is hooked, wait ... don't give your shares to Gediz. I'll find the money. Tomorrow we will go to the notary. Kavruk signals Yahya do it now. Yahya pressures Kman, it must be today. I want to leave now. Bring the notary to the port, otherwise Gediz will give me the money today. Yahya hangs up.

Yahya tells Kavruk, the pressure on. Today this whole thing will end.

Flashback to the day before, when Sancar met with Yahya and Kavruk at the grove office. Sancar instructed Yahya to make the call to Kman about selling his shares. Then we see what happened after the meeting.

Kavruk stops Sancar before they leave. He has a question, you said you were going to take care of the rest, but ...how? Sancar smiles and replies, didn't your grandfather teach you the fake notary trick? Kavruk answers, if you mean the señor in prison then, yes. Sancar intends to use this trick. Kahraman is going to give millions dollars to Yahya, he tells Kavruk, and he won't be buying anything.

Kavruk asks, after that? Sancar says, I'll go later to visit Kahraman, and tell him that he just gave his money for nothing, I will say, if you want your money back, you will give me Akin. Kavruk understands and asks, when you have Akin, you'll go to the police, right? Sancar answers—exactly. [do you believe him? He looked away from Kavruk when he answered.]

Kavruk is good with it. He tells Sancar, the trap will be set and then we send him (Akin) to prison. You will divorce Menekse, and if you get custody, Nare won't be able to leave here. Kavruk smiles at his Efe and says, in the end everything will be as planned, right? Sancar says he hopes so, but there's only one thing ... Nare won't forgive me, and that’s the bad thing. Then he adds, but if the two of them are safe being in the country, it’s enough for me. End flashback.

Kavruk tells Yahya, I have a feeling this will be over today, and I know that Melek will wake up. Yahya hopes so, too. Kavruk says, all this will be like a bad memory because when something bad happens, then good things happen later. Now we can expect to receive things with joy.

Kman is furiously pacing back and forth on his patio. Ceylan asks him, where could that guy (Akin) be? What will happen if they find him? What if he gives us away? Kman is sure that idiot would speak.

He launches into a rant, I kidnapped Sancar’s woman, and I could barely keep that secret. I have guards and a spy in his mansion, and I can hardly sleep. Do you understand? I'm thinking all the time how to avoid some trap that Sancar has, ready to discover me. And what does Akin do? He takes two packs of pills and almost murders his daughter! They're going to catch that idiot and he’s going to give us all away!

Embajador S2 #22 part 2

Speaking of the idiot, Akin shows up. He complains, I've been walking for hours. You didn't send a car. I walked all night [oh, poor baby]. But I'm not upset, my friend, this time I won't be mad at you. I couldn't say anything at the house, but come closer, let me kiss your brilliant mind. He approaches Kman, who gives him head butt that knocks him to the ground.

Kman shouts, die, you damn bastard, and he kneels beside Akin. He is enraged. You are an idiot! How dare you enter Sancar's house like that?! What the hell is wrong with you?! Why did you do that to the girl?! Why the hell did you want to kidnap her? She’s just a girl! And she is Sancar’s daughter! Because of you, I could be dying right now! [Notice Ceylan looks pleased as she watches this and she’s thinking about her baby]

Akin calmly responds, well, sorry. Next time support me with my plan so there will be no accidents. Kman is still furious. I swear I'm going to kill you, he threatens. Do you want to die like this? Akin replies, I can prove that it was you who helped me. You know that, right? What do you think Sancar will do if he finds out? Kman answers, what if I kill you right now so you don't say anything?

Kman’s fire dies down a bit. He gets off of Akin and tells him, I need money to buy Yahya’s shares, you know that, right? Akin says, that’s right and that keeps me alive. Kman asks how he will get the money if the police are looking for him. Akin has taken care of that. He has an account under a false name at a bank. Kman pulls Akin up off the ground. Come! Walk! He orders his man to take Akin to the bank.

Ceylan takes this opportunity to speak with Kman. You're upset because that man hurt that girl, right? Kman is still fuming, I'm going to kill that man, Ceylan. She has a question. He’s not in the mood for questions but she’s going to ask anyway. You are worried about someone else’s child, with good reason, she says, it is obvious you care about children. So why don't you want to have a child of your own? Kman looks over at his father, who is sitting with them at the table. He does not answer Ceylan’s question. He tells her to take his father inside and turn the TV on for him. Ceylan complies.

The ladies at the Efeoglu mansion wait for news. Zehra suggests that her mom get some rest, she was up all night. Halise wants to go to the hospital instead. Elvan reminds her that they said they would stay home, as not to disturb them. Halise asks Elvan to call Sancar; she wants to hear his voice. Elvan says they don't answer. They're going to call us when Melek wakes up. Refika is there, too, and says, why don't you call them? Can't you see how upset she (Halise) is? Elvan reluctantly makes the call.

Cut to the hospital. Nare and Sancar keep vigil at their daughter’s bedside. One hand holding one of Melek’s and the other joining the parents. Sancar’s phone rings. Nare tells him not to let go of Melek so they let go of each other. Sancar puts the phone on speaker. Elvan says they have been calling but there’s been no response. Is Melek awake? Nare answers, no Melek is still sleeping like an angel. She starts to cry but Sancar reminds her what they said about crying.

Elvan tries to cheer her up, are you crying? That does not suit you. She's just having a long dream and will wake up like it’s nothing. Remember what I tell you, she will wake up soon. Sancar repeats with a hopeful smile, she will wake up soon, Elvan is right.

Embajador S2 #22 part 3

Elvan starts to get up, but Halise stops her. Elvan adds, when have I told you something false? Everything that Elvan predicts always comes true. Halise wants to talk. Elvan puts it on speaker. Halise announces, wake up my girl, and I promise I'll make amends for everything bad I've ever done in my life. [what Halise said in the original was, let my girl wake up and come home and I promise I will sacrifice 7 goats for my granddaughter, Sancar. Meaning they will have a big celebration.]

Sancar thinks back to the promise he made in the mosque to let mother and daughter leave if Melek lives.

Sancar tells his mother, and that's how it will be, she will wake up. Elvan says, we know we will have good news from you but call us when she wakes up. We will prepare everything for your return.

Gulsiye is absentmindedly feeding the chickens at the coop when Elvan walks over. Elvan jokes with her, do you have them on a diet? Why do you give them so little? Feride became size zero. Elvan notices that Gulsiye was crying. What happened? Gulsiye breaks down and Elvan hugs her. Don’t worry, she says, Melek is going to wake up and come back. [that’s not all Gulsiye is crying about] I promise that she will recover-- Elvan touches Gulsiye’s head and feels a big bump. What happened? We see the flashback to Gulsiye finding Akin and Atike knocking her out.

Gulsiye says she hit her head on furniture. Elvan worries that Gulsiye is out there working, she should let Elvan take over and go inside to rest. Gulsiye refuses Elvan’s help. Elvan tells her, you won't let me help you? Listen, we love each other as if we were sisters and sisters support each other. Isn’t it like this? Gulsiye cries guilty tears and says, but I have not been a good sister. She walks away. Elvan is puzzled and calls her to come back. She will have Kavruk prepare something for the bump on the head.

Ayse is cleaning up a broken glass in the kitchen. Dudu is there, too. Gulsiye enters and the sisters stare at each other, Gulsiye with anger and Dudu with guilt. Ayse is annoyed about the broken glass that Dudu broke. This glass broke and you didn’t clean it. Dudu answers, what do you want me to do? I am not a maid, it's not my job.

Gulsiye shuts the door and locks it. She tells Ayse, did you know how Dudu’s been working? She’s been consoling her boss. Ayse is shocked, who? Which one? Gulsiye replies, the only one who is married, and whose wife is my friend. Ayse is horrified. She approaches Dudu, you’re with Yahya? Ayse spits at Dudu. Can't you get yourself a bachelor? Do you want to kill me?

Dudu starts to cry and Gulsiye tells her to stop. As if it wasn’t enough for Yahya to be Menekse's puppet, I have to put up with this from you. If something happens to Melek, she warns, if something happens my girl, I will kill you all.

Nare and Sancar have not moved from Melek’s bedside. Nare moves her hand over Sancar’s and asks, would something have changed if I arrived earlier? Don't worry, he tells her, she will wake up. Nare says, do you remember that woman in Podgorica said that something was missing?

Flashback to the Romani woman saying something is missing but one day they will be complete. [something I think about when watching NarSan]
Nare picks up, when she said we would be complete, you said she meant Melek. Sancar remembers that. Nare tearfully says, she wouldn't have said that if Melek wasn't going to wake up. Sancar replies with a gentle shhhhh, she's going to wake up. We may never be complete, but not because we are going to lose Melek. Do you promise, Nare asks? Yes, I swear.

He smiles, she is our girl, and she still has to drive me crazy. Do you think she will, Nare asks? Sancar says, she will grow up, be a teenager. She will want to go out with her friends on the weekend and I'll say no, but she will go anyway. They smile and laugh over this thought.

Embajador S2 #22 part 4

Nare imagines how it will be when Melek brings a boy home and says, "but dad, I love him." Sancar laughs, I hope she doesn't tell me that because I'm going to go crazy. That is going to drive me insane. Nare asks, she will not be able to fall in love?

Sancar gets serious and replies, only if he loves her. I do not want her ever to suffer because of love. They look at their daughter. Sancar says, you want your children enjoy only good things. Nare says she doesn’t want Melek to suffer either. Sancar looks at Nare, she does not have to suffer. [In Turkish] Let her marry her beloved and she will be very happy. Both parents say Amen.

Melek must have been awake and listening because she says, then am I going to marry Matko? ¡Que alegría! Nare and Sancar shower their daughter with kisses and tears of joy. Quick flashback to Sancar cautioning Matko about behaving with Melek. The three hold on to each other in great happiness.

Sancar gets up, I will inform the doctor and I’ll also call the house. He watches Nare and Melek a few seconds before he leaves the room.

Outside the hospital, Sancar calls his lawyer. The lawyer was about to call him. He found the tourists and their recordings prove that he was hitting the wall and not hitting Yahya. Congratulations, he tells Sancar, you will get you custody. Sancar flashes an ironic smile and tells the lawyer, give custody of my daughter to her mother. Pardon? Sancar repeats, do it, give custody of Melek to her mother. Don't tell anyone, okay? Sancar is keeping his promise to Allah.

Muge thinks Gediz should get some sleep since he was out in the garden all night. Suddenly, Gediz is enraged at what he sees. I'm going to kill him, he shouts and runs over to Guven, who is standing at the pool in a bathing suit. Gediz pushes him in! How are you? Very cold Mr. Guven? Guven sputters, what the hell are you doing?

Gediz shouts back, what are we doing? We are hosting you here as if it were a damn hotel. Poor Guven, because it's not fair! Come here! Guven argues, you brought me here to take custody from Sancar. Don’t pretend that I came on my own. I'm not here because I want to be.

Gediz yells, yeah, it's the same custody that you gave to Sancar. You are only on the side of the person who gives you money. You don't give a damn about your daughter! He continues, I’m sorry to bother you, but Akin almost killed your granddaughter by giving her sleeping pills. Guven looks shocked. Gediz goes to get a towel. Guven gets out of the water and Gediz throws the towel over him. I see you are useless and not interested, so I will fix it forever. Gediz storms off with Muge following.

Gediz… Gediz, what did you mean, that you were going to fix this forever? Gediz answers heatedly, if Sancar can't protect his family then I'm going to do it. I will find that damn Akin!

Gediz gets a call from Sancar and lights into him. Where have you been? I've been calling you all morning and Nare doesn't answer! Tell me how she is! Sancar tells Gediz to calm down, he didn't call for a friendly chat. It wasn’t easy to call you, he says, don’t make me angry. Gediz lowers the heat and asks, how is Melek? Sancar tells him she finally woke up. Gediz shouts with joy. Muge is relieved.

Sancar says, if you're done, answer something. Do you want your place back? Gediz is suspicious, the same place you bought? Why are you offering it to me? Sancar replies, I'll ask just once more, do you want your place back or not? Gediz looks bewildered.

Embajador S2 #22 part 4

Dudu whines to Gulsiye, sister, don't treat me like that, please. Gulsiye answers, don't call me sister anymore. Tell me how could you do that to my friend? Dudu asks, your friend? Are you talking about Elvan? I am your sister.

Gulsiye turns on Dudu, I know. I opened up to you because I thought I had a sister. I was wrong. I always told you everything that happened in the mansion because I trusted you. She continues, do you know something else? While you were the daughter at your house, I was an employee here. While my aunt and my dad raised you, Mrs. Halise raised me! They are my real family, but you are not!

Dudu tells her sister to cut the drama. She pointedly explains, while you were living very comfortably in the mansion, we never had anything to eat. Sancar always protected you, but your alcoholic father beat me. Ayse looks guilty. Stop talking as if only you have suffered, Dudu says, I’m sick of all these family dramas. She states, if you're going to treat me like this ...I'll make Yahya get divorced and I'll be the lady of this house! She tells Gulsiye, you will respect me either as your sister ...or as your boss. With that, Dudu leaves the kitchen and heads outside.

Those were fighting words to Gulsiye and Ayse has to hold her back from following Dudu. She tells Gulsiye to calm down and don’t tell anyone. Gulsiye cries, I can't tell anyone, because if I do, Dudu will suffer, and Elvan will feel worse. Ayse has her own worries. She says, now I will always be an employee, and I’ll stay single. Gulsiye asks why.

Isn’t it obvious, Ayse replies, they are going to throw us all out on the street, I’ll never get married here. Mrs. Halise will claim everything back after what happened to Melek. Of course, she will cancel the wedding. Gulsiye says she’s not interested her aunt’s arranged marriage, and she would do it to teach Dudu a lesson, but she can’t hurt Elvan. Gulsiye cries.

Dudu watches from a distance as Yahya’s car pulls up to the mansion with Elvan waiting.

Where have you been, Elvan asks Yahya? We came from the grove. Elvan is ticked, Melek fights for her life, and you are doing business? Yahya shifts the subject with an insinuating smile, are you waiting for me at the door, Elvan? Why would I wait for you at the door, she replies with annoyance. Elvan addresses Kavruk, Gulsiye hit her head, I've been looking for you. Do you still have the ointment to treat it? Kavruk says yes and hurries off to get it.

Yahya gives Elvan an ingratiating smile and they enter the mansion side by side, where they encounter Dudu. Dudu tells Yahya, I wanted to talk to you about something, sir. Yahya replies, if it's something about the business, it will have to be later. Dudu says, it’s a matter of urgency, Mr. Yahya.

Elvan seems to sense the awkwardness between them, but it is interrupted by Sancar texting Elvan: "prepare everything to celebrate" Elvan gives out a big, long shout—geniaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal! She runs off shouting, Melek, woke up! Kavruk and Yahya follow. [bye, Dudu!]

Elvan announces to the mansion, prepare the party! Dance, dance, [Gimildan, Gimildan!] Come on now! How's everybody? I bring you good news, please read, [the text from Sancar] "prepare everything to celebrate. Everyone is ecstatic. Elvan does her song and dance for the benefit of the Barnacle family [thank you, Susanlynn!] watching from the balcony above. Halise calls her away, laughing, we will make fun of Menekse later [lol] Tell me again, my Melek woke up. She's healthy!

Embajador S2 #22 part 6

Dudu shows up and Elvan gives her a big kiss, she’s so happy! It’s a strange mix of joy and awkwardness amongst the mansion dwellers. Zehra clamps herself on to Kavruk which gets the attention of Halise and Ayse. Yahya tells Dudu, Melek will be tired, there will be no wedding today. Go home now and we'll talk about the business early tomorrow. Dudu has no choice but to agree. There are nervous looks between Gulsiye and Ayse. Barnacle Meanie stares down from above.

A nurse brings Nare a charger and she checks her phone. There’s a message from her lawyer, the court accepted the rejection of temporary custody. There is a trial tomorrow. Sancar looks at Nare and then gazes at his sleeping daughter. She asks Sancar, so will we have to fight again? Nare slides into bed next to Melek and holds her.

She tells Sancar, while we were fighting for custody, Melek ... he jumps in, say it. She could have died? While we fought for her custody she could have died. That’s true, he says, now listen, there is still a lot to do when we get out of here. In addition to the custody matter, I must find who did this. He raises his finger and tells Nare, I don't want you to say that name, don’t mention it now, not here, not after what we went through. Understand? I want us to have a little bit of peace, a few quiet minutes.

Nare agrees, yes, of course, we are here with Melek and nothing should interrupt our happiness. We must be happy. Exactly, Sancar answers, Melek is here, it's the only thing that matters.

Nare has an idea, do you think we should pinch her a bit? She’s already slept a lot. Sancar replies, you read my mind, let's tickle her to wake up and give her lots of kisses. He jumps into the bed and they “attack” Melek. Wake up, wake up! Everyone laughs. Nare and Sancar smile at each other.

Melek says, you shouldn't wake up a sleeping girl. They all start laughing again. Sancar’s smile fades as he thinks about what’s going to happen next. Nare looks at him and he gets his smile back. He tells her, you keep tickling her, while I go see about the paperwork, okay.

Wow, that’s the same look Sancar had on his face when he left his girls at the first beach picnic to go kill Akin. He’s clearly planning something. If Nare leaves, will he become a very bad man? Welcome to Sancar’s Revenge Tour Restart.

Dondi, thank you, thank you, thank you. That was the best recap you have ever given us . I am so happy and relieved that Melek is okay. I would be lost without your detailed recaps and giving us the sometimes different Turkish dialogue is so helpful . Yay I am so happy . I hope that Nare can finally forgive San, and they can move forward now putting Melek's safety and well-being first and foremost .

I wonder if Gediz and San will now join forces to find Akin , and I hope that neither kills him and goes to prison .

We found out some interesting things about how Dudu and Gulisey grew up .

Is Kavruk supposed to be a seer\wiseman ?

Yay, Melek woke up and no brain damage! Glad we're over that hill. I've no complaints about last night's action. Loved Akin having to go on foot all the way back to Kman's. Wondering if it will be Kman, not Sancar, who gets rid of Akin in the end.
 

Big question is whether we'll see a happy ending here for everyone ?

Niecie, that is brilliant ! Let's hope Kman is the one who kills Akin so that neither San nor Gediz goes to jail . Kman certainly was furious at Akin for what he did to Melek. Kman's one saving grace is his soft spot for Melek.

SI NOS DEJAN #16 Part 1

Alicia reiterates to Martín that she needs to see him in person. He loves that she has lifted her ban! At this rate they might even be calling each other “tú” by the end if the hear. She has a surprise for him and will see him . . . tomorrow. . His puppy looks on approvingly.

Julieta reminds Sergio that Martín was the person she suspected first. Sergio apologizes for ever having suspected her. Sergio is planning on having a talk with that big mouth Martín. He might have a lot of respect for Tamayo and Fabián but things cannot stay like they are. Julieta thinks at a minimum Martín has to be fired. Sergio needs another whiskey to think about it. Julieta is pleased with her machinations.

Yuri has gone with Moisés to his place. He is in the mood for some wine . . . in bed. Yuri tries to find excuses.

Sergio has lost no time in closing down Gonzo's credit cards.Gonzo is embarrassed at culinary school when his cards will not go through to pay his tuition. Gonzo realizes that his father meant what he said.

Miranda comes home slamming the door. Alicia asks if she is okay and Miranda says she had a rotten day. Miranda doesn't want supper. She only wants Alicia to leave her alone.

Yuri evidently has given in to wine and sex because we see her trying to sneak out of Moisés’ bed without waking him up. He does wake up and she fells him she has to go home to keep her mom company at supper. He wants her to stay the night. She doesn't want any drama from him and leaves.

Miranda is in her room clearly exasperated. She gets a phone call from Culebra but doesn’t answer. She chats with her fish about how he wants to be with the nastiest girl at school. She starts screaming about how she hates herself because she is so pathetic. Alicia arrives with food but without knocking and Miranda throws a tantrum. She wants to be alone! Miranda throws up.

Gonzo calls his father to complain about his credit cards being closed down. Sergio knows what he did and he is not playing games with his son. Gonzo says he will do what he wants. Sergio says fine but he will need to find a job near the subway because he will not be making payments on his car either. Gonzo says his lover must really must be costing him with this austerity plan. Sergio warns him to leave her out of it. Gonzo accuses Sergio is giving them such a “good” example choosing her over his family. Julieta enjoys every minute of this argument she hears.

Yuri is reading a romantic passage from “Great Expectations” when Cholo calls reading her the same passage over the phone. She has an idea. They can read the same passages at the same time twice a day. He agrees. She is going to go to his place to take care if the bonsai. He would rather she not to avoid any risk.She insists she can take care if herself.

Karina tells Mujica it is a bit suspicious that El Trompeta has abandoned his spot at the market at this particular time, Mujica sees no problem. There were no charges against him.The murder has been solved. Case closed.
 

TU AMOR ep 45 part 1

Sister Aurora invites Guillermo into the orphanage while Adelaida remains outside. She sees Consuelo walk up, they greet each other, and hug. They join sister and Guillermo for a light breakfast. Guillermo tells sister that it's a pleasure to be there at the orphanage. She says Consuelo made the tamales and they're incredible. Before they begin, sister wants to give Guillermo the receipt for the generous donotion from the foundation. He looks at it and something doesn't seem right to him. Sister says it will mean a lot to the orphanage and thanks him. Walking back to the car, Adelaida sees that Guillermo is looking at the receipt instead of listening to her. He asks her if she remembers how many donations they've given the orphanage. Three or four, I think, she says, Enrique would know. Guillermo calls his secretary and tells her to find Enrique. He wants to see him as soon as he gets to the office. Is there a problem?, Adelaida asks. I hope not, he responds. Consuelo tells the mother superior that seeing Adelaida again has brought back a mountain of memories. She knew her since her time as a designer.

Valentina sees that Helena is bothered by hearing about the dinner with Guillermo. She says it hurts to know that her father cheated on her mother. Val says he asked them to take a DNA test. She doesn't think she will. She's always felt proud and lucky to have her parents. They loved her very much. Her character, her principles, her convictions all came from them. Nora is excited about taking the test though. Helena tells Val that assuming it's true, she would prefer that Val is her sister.

Rosamaria's assistant, Samara, brings her Guillermo's medical records as she asked. It indicates "cardiomyopathy awaiting cardiac transplant." Rosamaria says it's a complicated case and Guillermo is dying. Luckily, it's Docotor Farre's case, Samara says. Yes, but I don't want to just do nothing, says RM. I think, behind his serious appearance, Guillermo is a good man. We all deserve a chance to live and I'm going to find a way to help him. Life hasn't made me lucky in love but at least it's made me lucky in saving patients.

Patricia is in Ricardo's room when she receives a call from Enrique. He tells her that he's worried. This morning Guillermo had breakfast at the orphanage. He might discover that they've diverted funds meant for the mother superior. Patricia says they're smarter than he is and they'll stay ahead of him. If he discovers them, it's over.

When Enrique arrives at the office Guillermo tells him to take a seat and hands him the receipt for the donations. It seems strange to Guillermo that the mother superior only gave him this one receipt. She also referred to it as THE donation. What about the others? Enrique says the receipt is for the last donation. The others should be archived somewhere. Well, Guillermo wants an accounting of all the money they've donated to the orphanage. I'll send it right over, Enrique says. No, you bring it to me please, Guillermo answers.

 

TU AMOR ep 45 part 2

A realtor shows Val and Caudio a really nice house. He says they can rent it once they have a date for their wedding. He says she can pick the date. She asks him when he wants to do it. Now, he says, you said you wanted something simple. Yes, but with time we can plan better, she says, you know, my dress, and such. He proposes thay have a civil wedding now, and later, when everything is ready, they'll get married in the church. She says she loves the idea. Later, Claudio takes her to look at cars and she asks what's going on. Did he hit the lottery or something?

Majo reminds Helena of her interview with Harper's Bazaar and brings her a rose that Hector sent. She also says some Valencia lace is being shipped. Hector calls and tells her that he's in love. With who?, Helena asks. With you of course, who else? A call comes in to Hector's phone from Pat. He apologizes for getting a call. From a women?, Helena teases. No, he replies, the only woman I want to be with is you, well, I have to go, kisses, bye. Mina tries to get him to go with her to the school they're checking out for him. Pat calls again and asks him how her handsome defender is doing. She was expecting him to call after the night they spent together. Well, he can't talk. He says he has to go. She says, OK, I'll let you go, just promise me that you'll call me later. No, I can't promise anything, he says, I have a lot of work. I have to hang up. I'll wait for your call, she tells him.

Horacio and Consuelo are in the kitchen. He tells her that he told Claudio that he and Valentina should get married right away but Claudio is ignoring him. She says the benefactors of the orphanage are the Vargases. Guillermo Vargas?, asks Horacio. Yes, he and his sister Adelaida have taken over the expenses. Do you know him? Yes, he's Helena's father. It turns out he's also the father of one of my nieces. Guillermo Vargas is the father of...of one of your nieces?, Connie asks. Yes, he nods. How do you know señora Vargas? Well, before being a happy and proud housewife and seamstress, I was a great designer. What?, Horacio says, oh, of course, like Valentina. Yes, and I made the most beautiful dresses, for a wicked woman that stole my designs and destroyed my career. And who was that?, he asks. Yolanda Pratas.

Hector is hesitant about signing up for school. Mina really has to push him. He tells her to come with him because she is his representative. An administrator asks him his highest level of previous studies. Elementary through junior high says Mina. Through high school says Hector, and later the school of life, you know, taking care of my siblings. The administrator gives him some paperwork to fill out and tells him the course is entirely at night. Later, Helena congratulates him for getting in. She says they can celebrate by having dinner after class. He thinks it would be better to go right to her house and skip the class. Back at home, his sister Camila and Consuelo worry about him working at night. He gets into it with Camie for being so negative. She gets frustrated and goes to her room.

 

TU AMOR ep 45 part 3

Helena is working at her studio and Nora asks her if she has time to talk. It's about something important but Valentina probably already told her. Yes, Nora, says Helena, Valentina already told me. Well, you know what she thinks, now you should know what I think. One of us is going to be your sister. They go to Helena's office. You must have felt bad when they told you your father had a daughter with another woman, says Nora. It was an odd feeling Nora. I can't say whether I felt bad or not. Well, my father, or the person I thought was my father, never cheated on my mother. And what happened to your mother Helena? Why didn't your father love you? Nora, the story of my family, of my mother and my brother was not extraordinary. You have a brother?, Nora asks. Yes, Alfonso, he was in the same accident as your dad. And why didn't you get along with your father? Didn't you love him? Valentina tries to stop her sister's line of questioning. No, Helena says, one of you will be entering the Vargas family and it's best you know what you're facing. I'd love to face what you are facing, says Nora. Money, luxuries, travel... Helena sends her to the stockroom but she hides behind the door.

Yolanda asks Beba what she knows about Helena's lace as they talk at the studio. Well, they told me that the sipment coming from Valencia is in customs. Did you speak to the customs agent?, Yolanda asks. Yes, I talked to him but he's not in charge of it. Well insist, says Yolanda. That's what I'm doing but..., says Beba. Contact the senior supervisor, Yolanda tells her. Orosco, the engineer? Yes, Gustavo Orosco. Beba, that lace can't land in Helena's hands for any reason. For any reason. Apply yourself.

Valentina says that Helena must really miss her brother. Yes, he was the best person in her life. And it must have been hard to have Patricia as a sister-in-law. Yes, they clashed from the beginning. They're both strong personalities. And your mother?, Val asks, she died young? Helena says she's never told this to anybody. It was her 15th birthday. Her parents organized a party. But that night, when she entered the office, her mother Estela was kissing her boyfriend. He was 20. Her mother tried to convince her not to say anything to her dad. But well, he had to know. She convinced him that I was lying. She dragged me to the car to prevent a scandal in front of the guests. I still remember the smell of alcohol and expensive perfume. She yelled things at me that I didn't understand. She drove like she was crazy. She was hysterical. Until she lost control of the car and the last thing I saw were the lights of a trailer in front of us. When I opened my eyes they told me I was in the hospital with two broken legs. My father was in front of me and looked at me full of anger. He told me that he hated me and that I was a liar. That it was my fault that my mother was dead. And that I was also dead to him. He never wanted to ever see me again. Valentina comforts Helena as she breaks down. Helena finally calms down and says she is thankful to Guillermo because he unitentionally taught her that if you want something in life you have to do it for yourself. It made me capable of anything. I was able to build one of the most important fashion houses in the country, she says.


 

TU AMOR ep 45 part 4

Guillermo is in his office checking out the photos he was sent by his detective. He doesn't see anything special about them. He gets a call from an unknown source which turns out to be Doctor Rosamaria. She would like to schedule a consultation and some studies for his heart. She took the liberty of reading his file. She tells him not to worry, she hasn't told his family. She tells him not to settle with waiting for a transplant. His life deserves a struggle for alternatives. She knows an excellent doctor and when he returns from a convention he can see him. Guillermo thanks her and agrees to do it. He also asks a personal favor. He needs a DNA analysis done. He tells his secretsry to send in Humberto Rodriguez. Guillermo tells him to find a replacement because starting today he's going to be Enrique's personal assistant. Guillermo wants to know his every movement. And he wants total discretion.

Patricia tells Ricardo he should learn to live with his new condition. Live?, when he could die at any moment? He only wants to see Valentina. Rosamaria shows up and asks him how he's doing. Fine, he says. Pat thanks RM for helping her brother and leaves. Rosamaria says he looks better and that's a good sign. And I could die at any time? She says that's why she doesn't want to get involved in any blackmail. They should focus on his health. She'll do everything in her power to help him. If she wants to help him she should speak to Valentina, he says. Tell her to come and see me. Adelaida tells Patricia that Valentina is a good person and will understand. Pat doesn't want either of those two peasants in the house. Rosamaria tells them that the studies she did on Ricardo are not encouraging. He has a new aneurism in his lateral lobe which puts his life at risk. If he takes his meds, with luck, they can avoid a leak in his brain. Oh, and can you tell Guillermo that I have some data that he asked me for and have him call me?
Pat asks Adelaida what the doctora was talking about. Adelaida think it's something to do with the DNA test that Guillermo wants the girls to take. Well, I don't want either one living in my house, Pat says. Your house?, says Adelaida. I was Alfonso's wife. Our parents arranged the marriage, yes, but in time I learned to love him. According to the doctors, the infertility problem wasn't mine but his. This is my house. You're wrong, Adelaida answers. This house is in Guillermo's name. Until he dies, the two of you are the owners. We're going to have to learn to live under the same roof.

Nora meets Leonardo in a restaurant. He tells her that she's late. She says she came because he helped her with the fashion show but he shouldn't think he can call her any time he wants. She has a full calendar. He tells her he knows she thinks she's really important but she shouldn't forget that he's her agent. Look, she says, a month ago she had like 10 followers on social media. Now she has more than a thousand. She's an "influencer". Pretty soon she won't be able to see him. And if she does, he's going to have to use Usted. He says he doesn't understand. Well, last night she had dinner with Guillermo Vargas, she says, and do you know why? No idea. It was to tell us that Valentina or me, one of the two, could be his daughter.
 

DEJAN Part 2

Facundo is at a restaurant at the market looking like he is waiting for someone. A standing man is discreetly signaling to him which causes him to turn his head to look at something or someone.

Martín arrives late. Alicia’s surprise is that his car is all repaired as good as new. The mechanic did her a favor, She thinks it is only fair because of all of the trouble she caused Martín so she wanted to turn over his car in person. He thinks she was only looking for an excuse to see him again. She smiles and they both agree they are happy to see each other again.Martín says work is going fine and Sergio liked his report. No he didn't include her comments, Alicia confesses things are not good at home with the family. In the midst of it all, she has started to write again and she thought if him. He has this great ability to know how to listen to her and give her a sense of peace. He grabs her hands, she grabs his but then purposefully withdraws hers. Alicia admits to feeling very alone and maybe not up to handling everything going on with her family. Martín agrees that divorce is hard on everyone. Just that word scares Alicia.

Moisés comes to see Sergio for personal and business reasons. First of all he is having problems with Yuri.

Eva talks to Yuri about the problem between Gonzo and his father. Yuri doesn’t see any hope because they are both stubborn. Eva wants the three kids to work at getting Alicia and Sergio back together. Yuri would love to, but how? Eva thinks a surprise birthday party for Sergio might be an opportunity. Yuri agrees.

Alicia knows the next step is a divorce but that word makes her feel like a failure. Grabbing her hand again, Martín says a marriage is between two people so she isn't totally responsible for it. That would not be fair, An uncomfortable Alicia frees her hand. She says her phone battery is almost dead so she has to go. He tells her to silence the ringer to conserve the battery and continues to tell her she has every right to give herself a second chance in life. Alicia says her therapist tells her the same thing. Martín agrees sometimes a second chance is starting a new life. . . . Alicia knows he knows what he is talking about. She admits that she has read many of his articles from his earlier work and It just proved to her what a good journalist he is. They joke about Sergio being jealous of his abilities.

Outside of school, Miranda sees Culebra kissing the enemy Nicole. After telling Ariana “Nicole’s friend” and to get lost, Miranda hits the ground. Ariana hears the plop and tries to help her.

Gonzo goes to Fedora’s to talk to someone he can trust. She agrees to listen because everything but death has a solution in this life.

Miranda ends up in the nurse’s office where the nurse notices her head wound. The nurse decides Miranda needs to go straight to the hospital. They try calling Alicia but nobody is answering.

Alicia asks Martín point blank if he is being serious and honest with her. She is a married woman. He assures her this is no joke nor is it nonsense. She brings up the difference in their ages. He thinks it is interesting and smiles thinking about the controversy it would cause, Alicia thinks he is crazy. He insists on paying since he has been the one making the impertinent remarks. He tells her that if someday she wakes up and wants to live the best love story of her life, she needs to remind herself that he is the first one on her list. An annoyed Alicia says she has had enough. His car is waiting for him and she apologizes for the inconveniences. She leaves.

Facundo is in his phone telling someone that he assumes that El Trompeta is the real drug dealer at the market. Someone has to be in charge now since he isn’t here right now.They will have to pick out the owner from the photos.He is overheard by some guy who pulls a gun on him. His ohone is confiscated ans he is warned to keep his nose out of what doesn't concern him if he wants to live.

 

TU AMOR. Another excellent and very complete recap, JoelD. Didn't Patricia and Enrique realize that it would be easy for Guillermo to figure out they'd stolen from his charitable donations? I thought they were brighter than that. Again, it's funny that Guillermo would prefer Val as a daughter and Helena would prefer her as a sister. I hope Rosamaria can help Guillermo. He's a character who probably deserves some redemption. Unbeknownst to Val, in a way Claudio did hit the lottery. It's creepy and petty of Yolanda to interfere with Helena's lace shipment. But then that's Yolanda. I suspect the upshot would be that Val would invent something better than lace. :) If Hector finished a year of prepa, he's probably pretty bright. I believe that the preparatorio years are after a student has completed basic secondary school (high school, more or less), and are for people planning to go to a university. Several countries have them--like Spain, Canada, Great Britain, etc. I hope that pessimistic conversation between Camila and Hector wasn't foreshadowing. And once again, Leo is up to no good. Nora gave a nice example of the distinction between tu and Ud., btw.
 

DEJAN Part 3

Karina goes to look at some files about Cholo Fuentes that she saw Mujica put away earlier. Gutiërrez sees her and asks her what she is doing. She says Mujica asked her to return some files for him. He is questioning somebody. She has to join him. She leaves.it doesn't look like Gutiérrez believes her,

Moisés says Yuri isn't acting like a woman who is about to get married. Sergio blames her being dedicated to her work. Each couple has their own dynamic. Moisés tries to ask about the problems Sergio is having in his own home and is told to mind his own business. Sergio gets a call from school about Miranda. They tried to call his wife but she isn't answering. He leaves immediately.

Gonzo is telling a surprised Fedora how he and his father came to blows. He affirms that her friend Alicia is doing very badly through all of this. Fedora is flattered that he came to talk to her but doesn’t he have some friends to talk to? He says his father has left him penniless. He is embarrassed but now he has some bills to pay and no credit cards. She asks if he needs money. He didn't come to ask her for money. She has a lot of connections so maybe she can introduce him to somebody who can help him get a job. He is open to whatever. She says to consider it done.

Miranda has regained consciousness in the school’s medical clinic . (Sergio was talking to the school “doctor” not nurse) Ariana is with her. Miranda thinks she just needs food. The doctor tells her that she is going directly to the hospital. Culebra has cut his hand and is waiting for care at the clinic. As he talks to the doctor, he almost sees Miranda’s face but she tries to keep her head down and hidden. All he knows is that she is a student who fainted from hitting her head.

Yuri’s friend Chela comes over to visit with her. Yuri is angry that Moisés and some old lady wedding planner have planned a Las Vegas wedding. Yuri says that is never happening. Chela thinks that Yuri needs to admit that the wedding doesn’t need to happen anywhere because she doesn't care about it. Yuri admits that Chela is right. Chela wants to know if there is someone else like Cholo Fuentes.

Cholo is still being harassed by the other inmates. What is his is theirs and theirs is his for now . . . and lotsa’ luck with the cellphone usage debt.

Sergio arrives at the school and the doctor fills him in on her condition. He cannot believe she hit her head and said nothing to any of them. The doctor says it happened about 48 hours ago from what she said. Her recommendation is to go to the hospital and get some tests done. Miranda thanks Ariana for her help and leaves with her father.

Alicia arrives at the foundation while Lucas is talking to Cifuentes (?) about how in a couple of moves they can free themselves of any connection to anything this year or last year. As Lucas is sarcastically introducing Alicia, Mercedes the secretary informs her that she has been getting calls at the foundation about Miranda from the school, Alicia finally checks her phone amd sees what she has missed.

Sofía tells her mother Carlota that her dad finally got his car back. Martín finds himself invited to stay to eat with his daughter and ex. He accepts with a smile that seems to fade.

Facundo tells Mujica that they stole his phone. Mujica says he stuck out like a sore thumb. He doesn’t know what he was doing there in the first place. Facundo says that the motive of his son’s murderer doesn’t make sense to him. Mujica says he iwll never find the answer to that at a market. They will get that from Cholo. Karina walks by and Mujica says he needs to talk to her ASAP. Mujica laughs and tells Facundo it will all work out. Facundo looks like a non-believer.

JoelD, so many events and important revelations took place last night and you captured them exceptionally. Each of your recaps surpasses the previous.

The reverberations following Helena and her mother’s accident were swift and unbearably painful. Guillermo was judge, juror and executioner, displaying behavior of the cruelest kind imaginable. To tell his injured daughter who is in shock, who just lost her mother that he hates her and never wants to see her again? Incomprehensible.

I’ve wondered all along but even more so now as to where Adelaida was? Was she living with Guillermo or did she move in after? Was she there for Helena? She had a brother but a 15 year old girl alone in the world making her mark without any help is improbable, but possible.

It seems to have taken forever for word that Consuelo was also Yolanda’s victim to get out.
“Helena tells Val that assuming it's true, she would prefer that Val is her sister”. No kidding? 😊

“She took the liberty of reading his file”. Guess HIPPA doesn’t extend to Mexico.

Rosamaria totally creeps me out now. While I feel for Ricardo, his illness is not giving him cause to rethink anything or to try and make amends and live the rest of whatever life he does have in peace and truth.

Patricia and Yolanda are managing to stay one step ahead of everything and everyone. Rats.

I had to smile at Nora feeling she would be an important influencer and might leave Leo in the dust. We can only hope.

DEJAN Part 4

Yuri goes to Cholo’s and is being spied on from the same place as last time across the street. She looks all around as she goes through the gate.

Julieta is talking with Fabián about some proposals of hers for Sergio’s show. He likes all three. She is thinking about doing one of them on her own. He says better that they consult with Sergio first. She says she knows him better than anyone. Fabián thinks then she should know how he is when he is not in the spotlight. Well, Julieta doesn’t think he knows his friend Martín either. He is in no mood for gossip. She warns him to be careful because there are going to be consequences for what Martín did. Sergio is furious.

Martín has a nice friendly, touchy and delicious meal at his ex’s house. This is not lost on his daughter. She says everything is more delicious when the three of them are together. She asks if they ever went to couples therapy. They explain why it wouldn’t work for them and she volunteers to be their therapist. She starts by asking them what is the thing they most miss about each other.

At the hospital, Sergio asks why it is taking so long for his daughter to be seen and after being recognized as the big time star he is, the nurse says she will see she is taken care of right away. Miranda teases her. Alicia finally arrives. Sergio asks where she was. She says her battery went dead. He remarks that it just happened today of all days and she agrees today of all days. Sergio starts to blame her because HE had to be bothered. Miranda doesn't want to hear the fight. Alicia takes Sergio on the side and he brings her up to date on Miranda’s condition and that they are waiting for tests. He blames Alicia for not knowing that Miranda had a head injury for two days already. Alicia tells him not to blame her. As he asks if she is to be congratulated, Miranda says ma, stands up, passes out and hits the floor. They call for help and finally a doctor arrives.

As Yuri is chatting with Cholo, a man comes up from behind, grabs her and covers her mouth with a cloth. Yuri does her best to fight back. Cholo goes crazy not knowing what is happening.

Marvelous Jarifa! Your recap was beautifully written and so smartly detailed -a fascinating read (as always)!

“Cholo goes crazy not knowing what is happening”. As did we. I suspect Mujica is behind this and am very worried for Yuri.

“He tells her that if someday she wakes up and wants to live the best love story of her life, she needs to remind herself that he is the first one on her list”. A bit aggressive Martin I say smiling. Alicia is barely ready for the friend zone, let alone more.

“He accepts with a smile that seems to fade” was perfect Jarifa. The scene with Martin at dinner with Sofia and Carlota was difficult to watch. Sofia so hopeful as her parents held hands with Carlota seemingly to feel similarly. “She says everything is more delicious when the three of them are together”. Sigh. By his expression, Martin knows he cannot reciprocate their feelings of being a family. Equally as puzzling to me is why they divorced in the first place. They both seem kind and easy going and honestly Carlota just seems a better match.

“Gonzo's credit cards.Gonzo is embarrassed at culinary school when his cards will not go through to pay his tuition”. Given their vitriolic fight, did Gonzalo not think his father would not follow through? Sergio didn’t threaten, he promised. I was happy Gonzalo sought help from Fedora but worried that Samuel will misinterpret it. Samuel is like a ticking bomb and it is just a matter of time until he detonates.

Miranda’s temper tantrum, actually throwing the tray of food her mother brought her to the ground was beneath her. I would have grounded her pronto.

Any feelings Yuri had for Moises are long gone. She needs to break the engagement now (or once she gets loose from her captor(s).

Diana, yes! Martín was “a bit aggressive”. The good thing is that at least Alicia knows what his intentions are so there are no misunderstandings.

Yea, Martín having a meal with Carlota and Sofía was just sad.

I guess I am suddenly surprised how Alicia has been the doormat for her family and is becoming one for others: her mother to her husband to her daughters to even Lucas. All of these people except for Lucas should have been put in their place looooong before this. As for Lucas, I do not understand how he is still employed after being so openly rude to Alicia from the get go. She should have put her foot down after her FIRST unpleasant experience with him and had Sergio fire him at the occurrence of the second rude experience. If he wouldn’t fire him, she should have hired a detective to find out why not. She is waaay too easy going and that is why she is in the mess she is. As for Gonzo, this unpleasant experience should be a real character builder. At least he didn’t ask Fedora for money. As for Yuri, her bonsai care trip was plain stupid. She needs to learn how to trust her spidey sense.

Jarifa, you make a good point about Alicia being "waaay too easy going".

Alicia is lovely but I suspect always the peace maker who went with the flow. Calm and unruffled (as a rule - Sergio's cheating aside), I wonder if she had stood up for herself more, especially regarding Eva perpetually siding with Sergio, if her daughters (in particular) may have been more of an advocate for her? When Sergio was on his non-apology tour at the house asking for forgiveness it seemed Alicia's heartbreak was set aside in favor of bringing Sergio back into the family. In truth, Miranda has run a bit wild and let's face it, Sergio would not have stood her meanness and defiance for a split second. Her room looks fit fora Vegas high roller, not a teenager. Expansive, luxurious with electronic games and more at their disposal. These kids were spoiled rotten.

I'm sure Lucas is blackmailing Sergio but if Alicia doesn't put her foot down now, there's no hope, I agree.

Yes, Yuri needs "to trust her spidey sense"! :)

Diana, Sergio’s “non-apology tour” was just perfect! Great observation about Miranda’s “Vegas high roller” bedroom. Yep, all three kids were “ spoiled rotten.” I hope that Gonzo doesn't end up being a male escort or an exotic dancer. With Fedora, you never know . .
 

TU AMOR SpanProf, thanks for pointing out the different schools in Mexico. I was guessing a little when I translated Hector's education. I know in Germany they separate students going on to college from their peers. Hector must have started on that track but had to drop out when his father died. It was funny watching Mina pushing him to go back and bragging that her papa can do anything. Diana, I also thought Nora was funny. She's a brat but comes up with some good lines. I have to believe she'll turn out to be Guillermo's daughter. Imagine the pandemonium she can cause in the big house picking on the servats and ordering everyone around. She would also get into it with Patricia too. That would be something to see.

Gediz arrives at his special place and meets with Sancar. Gediz asks, why are you offering me my place back? Don't you want to be my enemy anymore? Sancar replies, yesterday I made a promise. I said that if my daughter got better, I was going to let them go. It's time to fulfill what I said. With his hand over his heart, he tells Gediz, I gave my word.

Gediz asks, you will? Will you let Nare take your daughter? Do you expect me to believe it? Sancar is irritated but keeps his composure, yes, I'm going to do it, he responds, but I can't let them if that bastard is still on the loose out there.

Sancar explains, I already set a trap for him, and it could fail. But if you help me, it could work and there would no longer be a problem. You want me to help you, Gediz asks? Exactly, Sancar replies, I will give you back your place and for one day I will forget all this, only if you help me. Let's catch that maldito together, help me lay a trap for that bastard. Gediz is listening.

Kman is out on the marina terrace texting on his phone. Muge sneaks up on him and she reads over his shoulder: “why don't you answer? I want to know how Sancar's daughter is, did she wake up?” Muge says, Melek is fine, she woke up. Kman is so startled, he drops his phone and jumps out of his seat. Muge is amused.

Kman asks, what makes you laugh? Did you see something? No, Muge replies, I just found it a little funny to see you scared. You always act tough, and you looked funny. Kman asks, are you making fun of me? Of course not, Muge says.

Kman reminds Muge that she was the one who was scared that night. You were shaking like a dog, do you remember? She remembers. She tells him, if we are going to work together, I will be frank with you, and I’ll tell you something. Kman is not interested and says, who told you that we are going to work together?

Muge is going to tell him anyway. She relates, there was one occasion I went crazy, I kidnapped Akin, like you kidnapped me. Just like you left me without food or water. I tried to kill Akin the same way you tried to kill me. You inspired me. Kman asks, what do you have to do with Akin?

Muge says, that does not matter now. The important thing is what Gediz told me. He said people come to a state where they lose control. People go crazy from the pain, but at that point we only see their madness and not their pain. She continues, I was very afraid of you that night, and truthfully, I still am. I only saw your madness but ignored your pain. You saved a lot of pain for so many years and you held a grudge against a girl all that time.

Gediz arrives at the marina.

Kman faces Muge and says, first of all, my wife also young, not much older than you. Now you think it's okay for a girl to kill my wife but am I crazy for holding a grudge? Second, I didn't do anything to you when you were 15. I waited until you were an adult to punish you. Third, you are not my psychologist, so shut up. You don't know anything about my pain. You're cruel and you don't know how much I hate you. You should fear me, he tells her, just like your death, be afraid of me. Muge tearfully explains, I am not cruel, I did not murder her, it was an accident. Kman gets in Muge’s face, accidents can happen, is it clear to you?

Gediz comes out on the terrace and is alarmed, he shouts at Kman, hey, get away from her! Kman steps back and says they were just talking. Right, psychologist? Gediz pulls him away and warns, you better limit yourself when you talk to her again. He leads Kman away. Muge calls after them, you two are similar. What are you going to talk about? How to destroy Sancar? Or how to kill the company’s women? Gediz tells his sister, we are alike because we don't plan, we act.

Embajador S2 #23 part 2

Inside his office, Kman tells Gediz that Muge tests his patience. He recommends Gediz take her away for her own good. Gediz cautions, if you touch my sister again, I'll cut your throat. But I'm not here for that.

Kman asks why he’s there. Gediz has one word—Akin. Kman is fed up, are you still with that Akin? Ask Yahya, he says, you saw with your own eyes how Akin deposited two million to him.

Gediz flashes on his meeting with Sancar. Sancar explains that Yahya didn’t help Akin, it was Kahraman.

Gediz tells Kman, Sancar believed it, but we are talking about me. When I thought about it, everything took shape, and it became clear. Sancar doesn’t see it because he’s stupid and angry. But we know Yahya couldn't do this. He really wants to have a child. Do you think he would hurt one?

And you think I would, Kman asks? Gediz answers, you are a man who holds a grudge from the past against two children. You could hide Akin and also put Melek in danger. He grabs Kman by the throat and says, give me a reason not to kill you right now. Convince me, as if your life depended on it. Kman reminds him they are compañeros, they are going to destroy Sancar together.

Gediz says, bad answer. I think I'd better kill you here. I will go to prison and you to the grave and Sancar keeps everything, how about that? Want to try again? Kman says, you are right, tell me what you want. Gediz says, hand over Akin and I'll make him pay for what he did to Nare, and I won't kill you. Yahya opens the door, hey, what's happening?

Gediz flashes again: Sancar explains, we will trap Kahraman. Yahya will go to see Kahraman shortly after you.

Gediz tells Yahya it’s nothing, we just talked, right, Mr. Kahraman? Yahya asks what they were talking about, but there is no time for an answer. There is a knock at the door. The (fake) notary has arrived.

Gediz looks at Yahya and has another flash: Sancar explains, he will sell his shares to Kahraman with the notary, but he does not know that the notary is fake. It will be a good transaction, Gediz replies.

Kman asks the notary to sit. He tells Yahya, we'll do the stock transaction here. Gediz is surprised, what stocks? What sale? Yahya explains he decided to sell all his shares to Kman, but if Gediz has a better offer he is willing to listen. Kman immediately intervenes. We negotiated on the phone and it’s done, he says to Yahya.

Gediz asks Yahya, why didn't you offer them to me? You know I would have paid you a lot more, why him? Yahya says it was because Sancar didn't believe him and beat him, so he decided to get revenge by selling to Kman. He adds, and you didn't believe me either, and hit me, too, why would I offer them to you?

The family of three are coming home from the hospital. Nare is in the back seat with Melek. She can’t stop kissing her sleepy daughter. Sancar warns her Melek will complain when he wakes up. And so, she does. Nare explains she’s kissing her because she missed her so much. Melek reminds her mom the doctor said she had to sleep today and now she is waking her up.

Nare wants to get her kisses in now because she thinks Melek won't want to be kissed when she grows up. I have to take advantage of the time I have left, Nare says. That has an impact on Sancar. He tells Melek, your mother is right, we have to kiss you now, we will not be able to do it later.

He pulls the truck over, gets out and tries to swallow his sadness. He gets in the back seat and starts hugging and kissing his daughter. Nare accuses him of being jealous and he doesn’t deny it.

Nare says, you said you would take care of the hospital paperwork and you disappeared. Now you stop the car to kiss our daughter. Nare begins to get suspicious, why did you take so long doing the paperwork? He brushes it off and continues to hug and kiss Melek. Melek complains. Nare asks Sancar to step outside for a moment. They leave Melek to sleep in the truck.

Embajador S2 #23 part 3

Nare wants to know what Sancar is up to. He says he’s not planning anything. She doesn't believe him. I asked you why you took so long with the paperwork and you rolled your eyes, she says, know you're hiding something. Sancar says he was dealing with the court case. I know you're hiding something else from me, she tells him, I know you and I know that you are always hiding something. He laughs, wow, I'll take that as a compliment, thanks.

Nare is dead serious, stop laughing and tell me. Sancar comes clean, okay, Yahya and I have been setting a trap for Kahraman. I have to take care of who did this. Nare asks, you said you were going to do the paperwork, but you went looking for him. Do you think you'll feel better when you take revenge on that man? If you do, our daughter will grow up without you. You will not see her.

Sancar tells Nare he will see Melek grow up. From prison, she asks? Sancar is annoyed. He reminds her they already talked about this. I'll turn Akin over to the police, he assures her, I won’t kill him. Nare insists, if you don't want me to imagine, then tell me what you are going to do, tell me your plan.

Sancar explains about Yahya selling his shares to Kman for a lot of money, Akin’s money. He tells her about the fake notary. They kidnapped the real notary. He’s okay, they just detained him and he’s drinking coffee. In the end, Kman will be paying millions for a useless piece of paper. Tomorrow I’ll go to him and say if you want the money back you’ll have to give Akin to me. Sancar leaves out Gediz’ involvement.

We see Yahya and Kman closing the fake deal while an amused Gediz watches.

Nare says she can't believe they are doing this. Sancar tells her not to be mad, this is a good thing for everyone. Akin will no longer be a problem, you won't have to worry about him. Sancar smiles at her, Nare has her doubts.

The deal is done, Yahya leaves with the money. Kman looks at Gediz, aren’t you going to congratulate me? Gediz answers, sure, but I will congratulate Sancar. What do you mean? Gediz tells him it’s because he just paid millions for some worthless papers. Kman’s smile fades. How is that?

Gediz explains, Sancar and I were friends for years, we did this trick five or six times. He fooled you pretty well. He showed that you're not that smart. I’m sure he is laughing right now. I guess he's going to ask you to hand over Akin for your money. Are you going hand him over? Kman denies knowing anything about Akin.

Gediz flashes to Sancar again. Sancar tells Gediz, I would not have asked for your help, and I'm not really happy to do it, but Akin almost killed my daughter. And I will scare Kahraman. He won't say he knows where Akin is because he knows that I'll kill anyone that has hurt my daughter. He will fall, but not so easily. Gediz says he understands and that's where he comes in. Exactly, Sancar replies.

Gediz tells Kman, you are not going to say you know because if you do, you would be admitting guilt, and Sancar would kill you, right? Sancar is sick, but I think the same. Normally I would let you be ruined but now we have a common enemy and now you are my friend.

Gediz puts his hand on Kman’s. We will do this ... I will give you the money that Sancar just stole from you, but you have to give me Akin. This way, Sancar won’t find out you had something to do with this and you will be rich again. Show Sancar that he can’t beat you. We have to unite against our enemy. Just give me Akin. Kman nods in agreement.

The family of three arrive home to a celebration. Everyone welcomes Melek with lots of hugs and kisses. Sancar takes notice of Gulsiye’s interaction with Melek. He asks her to go to Elvan’s room to talk. Nare notices and she follows Gulsiye. Sancar greets some guests and then he leaves, too.

Necdet and Atike hurriedly get up as well and run to Meanie in her room. Necdet frets, your husband is going to question her (Gulsiye), and she will tell everything. Meanie isn’t concerned, Gulsiye would not hurt her beloved Elvan or her sister. Necdet keeps pressing his point and puts doubts into Meanie’s empty head. She asks her mother where they are going to meet. In Elvan’s room. Meanie leaves to go spy.

Nare and Sancar enter Elvan’s room; Gulsiye is waiting. [stupid Sancar leaves the door ajar] He knows Gulsiye was serving the lemonade. He asks her, were you in the kitchen with someone else? She replies she didn’t see anyone. Nare asks if the lemonade was bought or made at home. Gulsiye admits she prepared it.

Nare can’t understand what happened. No one was in the kitchen and the lemonade was made in this mansion, I’m seriously going to go crazy, she says. Sancar asks Gulsiye to please think, didn't you see anyone enter the kitchen after making the lemonade? Someone could have passed there. A very nervous and guilty looking Gulsiye repeats that she did not see anyone. Sancar asks Gulsiye to look at him. She can’t. He keeps insisting she look him in the eyes. Nare asks Sancar, what are you doing? I hope you are not suspecting her. Leave her alone, she didn’t do it.

Meanie lurks outside the door and listens. Sancar continues to badger Gulsiye, look me in the eye when I talk to you. Is Nare right, am I wrong? Or are you hiding something from me? Gulsiye stutters, I’m sorry, but ... I... Gulsiye notices Meanie lurking at the door. She stops.

Sancar blows up, what about you?! Tell me… you obviously saw something, you can't look me in the eye! Gulsiye, who helped that damned Akin? Tell me! Who is helping Akin? Tell me! She stays silent. Are you deaf?! Gulsiye tearfully blurts out, I did it.

Sancar and Nare are stunned. Even lurking barnacle Meanie is taken aback.

Nare asks Gulsiye, who are you covering for? Sancar asks, did someone threaten you? Don't be afraid, Nare tells her, if they threatened you, I promise that we will find a solution.
Gulsiye is sticking to her story. I put the pills in the lemonade. Sancar asks, you did this? Why? Answer me, he shouts, why the hell did you betray us? She answers—for money. Meanie is satisfied and walks away.

Sancar is very upset. You were only eight years old when you came to this house. You were always family and we always trusted you. You are like my sister, and I was like your brother. Do you expect me to believe that my sister dared to poison my daughter for money?! She cries. Get out, he tells her.

Nare is shocked, what are you doing? You can't throw her out. Maybe Kahraman has her threatened her. We know she couldn't do something like this just for the money. Please don’t do this.

Sancar knows this. But you're not going to tell me who did it, are you, Gulsiye? He tells her she can't be here if she doesn’t tell. Get out of the house right now, he says, and don’t come back. Think about it, and when you change your mind, call me and I will look for you. Do you understand me? Go.

The family of three are up in Grandpa Efe’s room. The parents are trying to put Melek to sleep. She wants a story. Come on, lie down with me, she says to her parents. Nare tells her not to say she already slept enough. Sancar tells his daughter, don’t resist. We will tell you a story so we can all sleep together. Melek says, that's fine with me, dad. Mom, stand up and tell the story.

Nare starts, once upon a time, long ago….

Embajador S2 #23 part 5

The fairy tale song, “Masal” plays throughout a montage:

Gediz arrives at Kman’s house and takes possession of Akin. Gediz gives Akin a slug and knocks him down… The happy family continues their story time… Gediz loads Akin into his car… Gulsiye sneaks into the sleeping Elvan’s bedroom, covers her and silently says goodbye with a kiss… more family time, Nare smiles and Sancar looks troubled because family time is about to end for him…. Melek watches her parents sleep. She clasps their hands together and places hers on top…. With her bag packed, Gulsiye cries as she leaves the mansion.

Nare anxiously paces outside the mansion gate. Elvan says they will be late for court. Nare comments that Sancar was kissing Melek a lot and behaving very strangely. Elvan has something to tell Nare. I was talking to Yahya, she says, I told him to go to court, but he showed me this. It’s the video proving Sancar did not beat Yahya. Nare is devastated. This means Sancar is going to have custody again.

Sancar is hugging and kissing Melek. She pushes him away and tells him that while they slept, she made them (mom and dad) hold hands. She asks, how were they when you woke up? Did you still have your hands like this (clasped)? Sancar smiles, are you trying to unite us again? Is that it? Melek replies, why would I want to bring only you together? I want us all to be together, we will convince mom, and we will be three. His smile fades. Melek is not happy with her father’s efforts. She tells him, you're not helping me much.

He pulls her into a hug and answers, of course I am, and I do it for your happiness. Melek asks, can you promise me? I swear, he says, I promise you. [he tells her “Efe’s promise” in the Turkish]. He gives her more kisses. He gets up to leave and turns as he reaches the door. He waves at Melek and she waves back.

Sancar goes out the mansion gate. Nare is sitting in the truck and Elvan is comforting her. She tells Nare, you have a psychological report and our testimonials, this is not over. Sancar appears and says, in fact, it's over. Nare takes off and heads to the stables. Sancar follows her.

Nare shouts, leave! Sancar tells her she misunderstood. It's over for me, he tells her, it will be in your favor. Nare is floored, how? Sancar says, I'm going to give up custody of Melek. But ... you were going to win, she asks him, why?

Sancar replies because I understood that the important thing was not to win. He takes her head in his hands, all I want is for both of you to be happy, even if I'm not there to see it. I know that my daughter will be okay with you wherever you go.

Nare asks, are you letting me go? She cries. We can go to Switzerland? Sancar says, seek your happiness wherever, be happy with our daughter. Nare asks him, and are you going to be happy with that, too? Sancar gives a slight nod and answers, if you are, then I will be.

And we are out.

I agree with all of Diana's comments. Gonzalo had to expect Sergio to make good on his threat about the money. He will overcome this situation, which will be good for him.

I just looked up the actress who plays Carlota and while she's been in 4 series I've watched I can't remember her in any of them. How pathetic is that?

They had better get Miranda into a hospital ASAP. That injury is nothing to fool around with.

Miranda is having some brain bleed trouble. I hope them leaving that matter unattended doesnt mean death for her. Throwing is a bad sign of brain injury.
Serjerkass will probly blame her for that too. Hes angry cuz she wont continue to pretend that everything is honkydorry back home so he can pretend to be the family an that everybody thinks he is. What a joke. Alicia and gonzo are the only ones who know that train has jumped the tracks and crashed.
The only part of this episode that I really enjoyed was the very nice conversation between ali and martin

Dondi, many thanks for yet another excellent recap of all the drama. I especially appreciate your recap because I fell asleep right before the montage and woke up just before the end.

I am feeling sad for San who is now willing to give up being with his daughter and let Nare have custody and take Melek away. It is so sad when children can't be raised in the family home by both parents, but it is a common occurrence.

San's plans always seem so Byzantine to me.

I still have to suspend my disbelief that Kman didn't go to prison for what he did to Muge and how he can blame and despise a teenager and child for "killing" his wife who drove into their car. QTH

So is the wedding off ?

And why do people conveniently leave doors open so others can eavesdrop?

I wonder where this story will go next. I love seeing Nare , San , and Melek together .

Oh well, its just a story , but that little girl really gets to me.

That flashback confused me because neither woman in it resembled a young Helena , so I couldn't figure out who those women were.

Carlotta and Sofia are both getting their hopes up that Dad will return to the nest , but that's not what Martin is thinking .

I feel sorry for Alicia as her mother and daughters continue to take Serg's side. Infuriating . I can't imagine their reaction if Alicia had been the one to have the affair . Martin is kind , supportive, and understanding, so it is no wonder that she feels drawn to him .

What is happening to Miranda is very scary. She is a spoiled brat , but she doesnt deserve this injury.

Who has Yuri ? The police seem to be involved in Martin's brother's death.

I hope Fedora doesn't try to seduce her friends son !

Miranda is one of my favorites so I expected more from her and am sad that she treated her mother so shabbily. It was absurd that she wasn't getting immediate medical attention as
brain injuries, particularly ruptures are often fatal. I suspect Miranda will survive but this is a cautionary tale to treat brain injuries with the immediacy they deserve.

Diana, "Alicia is barely ready for the friend zone, let alone more." Great point! I was really surprised at Martin's assertiveness with Alicia. I wouldn't have blamed her if she had gotten up sooner and left.

"I was happy Gonzalo sought help from Fedora but worried that Samuel will misinterpret it. Samuel is like a ticking bomb and it is just a matter of time until he detonates." I was so afraid that Samuel was going to walk in! Yes, he would have detonated!

"Any feelings Yuri had for Moises are long gone. She needs to break the engagement now..." I'm just wondering if she EVER had any feelings for him. How awful that she went ahead and "slept" with him...sickening!!

In regards to Miranda's temper tantrum, I was thinking that it might be due to her head injury, though it bothered me how Alicia seemed to just take it in stride and started picking up the mess. Is Alicia used to this type of behavior? If she is, then it's going to be very difficult to get any respect from her kids.

While the Martin/Carlota/Sofia scene was sad, I did have to admire Sofia for trying to help her parents make amends. Smart little girl!

Jarifa, "As for Yuri, her bonsai care trip was plain stupid. She needs to learn how to trust her spidey sense." Definitely stupid to go alone. And I could say the same thing about Facundo. He is a trained experienced cop, but seems to have lost his spidey sense too.

"“Cholo goes crazy not knowing what is happening” I was going crazy too and kept yelling at Cholo, "You have a phone in your hands, call 911!" He was not thinking straight at all! What did he think the guards would do?

Urban, I've seen Carlota in other TNs too, but she always looks so different in each one. In "Ringo", she was Ringo's ex-wife and her hair was very short and black. In, "El Dragon" she was a cop and had long blonde (bleached?) hair.

The other character I couldn't place is "Chela." She was the youngest of the three sisters in "Te Doy la Vida."

I've finally caught up (for now). dondi356, there aren't enough words to describe how much I appreciate your recaps and all the additional information you provide. We are very fortunate to have you leading us in the discussions about this TN.

What Menkse did to Melek was horrendous; and she never once showed any remorse. In fact, she seemed very satisfied with causing so much harm and grief. May she rot and burn slowly in hell.

When Sancar was praying in the mosque and making his promise, I was hoping Nare would also make a promise--not to leave if Melek would wake up...but nada!

I too wanted Gulsiye to spill about Meanie. I know Dudu is her sister, but Dudu knew exactly what she was doing; Dudu should be the one to pay the consequences for all that she did. And trying to protect Elvan from heartache is futile. Elvan doesn't deserve to be with that cheating idiot; Gulsiye would be doing Elvan a favor if she told everything. I still wonder if Yahya lied about who really was the infertile one; everyone took Yahya's word for it without question.

Nare looked somewhat disappointed (IMO) when Sancar told her that he was letting them go. These two nuts love each other so much that they allow everything around them to cloud thier true feelings and their judgement. Nare needs to remember that Sancar told her he would be a very bad man if she left. I thought it was dumb of her to ask if Sancar would be happy if htey left; she should know the answer.

RgvChick, it looks like once she comes to terms with changing her life, that Alicia is going to have recreate her relationships with her kids and her mother in particular. As you noted, her children might not respect her and we know her mother clearly doesn’t. I will dare say that the daughters don’t respect her but her son does in light of all of their reactions to Sergio’s affair.


Carlota is a familiar face. The actress is Gabriela Carrillo. From what I found, she started out in Muchachitas and more recently has been Libre para amarte, Amor de barrio, La candidata, Ringo, El dragón, Vencer el miedo, Como tú no hay 2, La mexicana y el güero, and, of course, Si nos dejan. I remember her best from Como tú no hay 2.

Hello all. I think that at this point, San is the one putting forth an effort to make Melek the most important part of this situation . He is willing to give up Nare and Melek so that those two can move forward without him . Now, Nar e has to recognize his sacrifice and try to help fix their dilemma.

I do not understand the dynamic between Muge and K . It just doesn't make sense to me. He is a messed up, hottempered enigma. I get tired of his scowling and threatening everybody . His one weak spot seems to be Melek.

I am also getting tired of San and Gediz's schemes . G has Akin now, but how many times have he, Muge, and San had him , and slippery A slipped away . He should have died from those days that Muge held him without food and water and then Gediz and San almost beat him to death . I have to suspend my disbelief every time I watch this show.

The writers give us a few picnics at the beach to raise our hopes that Melek might get her wish if San and Nare can forgive each other . Then , it hits the fan and everybody is feuding and fighting again .

I need to see a big anvil over Meanie's greedy, conniving , grasping head. In these shows, I can never understand why someone wants some body who doesn't want him\her. Yeah, I know , she wants to live in that mansion and have money .

We need some hope or least peace if nobody is going to get a happily ever after.

Susanlynn, "I do not understand the dynamic between Muge and K" Muge's change was a stunner to me too. She has been deathly scared of Kman all this time and now she is trying to counsel him??? A real stunner would be if they ended up together! HA!! That would be the twist of of this TN year.

And regarding Akin, "He should have died from those days that Muge held him without food and water." IIRC Akin hadeft with some very serious problems with his kidneys? bladder?? The only after effect that seems to be evident is his squashed hand. And I've always wondered, if Sancar didn't want Akin to touch anyone ever again, why leave the other hand in tact? Hmmm....

Susanlynn, I’m feeling sad, too. But I get a kick out of Sancar’s “Byzantine” plans.
Kavruk’s wedding has only been postponed.

I honestly can’t remember if there was or will be more explanation of Kman kidnapping Muge. Sometimes I watch now and say—oh yeah, I forgot that. Nina noted a “chem” between them. Muge is trying for herself and for Kman to heal and move on from the past.

Dudu has really sunk low. Sleeping with her married boss. Spying for Kman. Can she come back from this? If/when Sancar finds out…

It’s very easy for us to think that Gulsiye should out her sister and save Elvan from her lousy husband. Think of the culture, think of the great shame this is.

“Nare looked somewhat disappointed (IMO)”. Sancar has totally disarmed her. She’s used to the fight. Be careful what you wish for, Nare. And yes, how dumb to ask Sancar if he would be happy if they left.

Rgv Chick, yes, you hit the nail on the head - Alicia is not respected by Miranda. When Miranda threw the tray down in a terrible temper tantrum, Alicia was upset but didn't seem shocked. That appeared (to me) there has been a pattern of this behavior previously. Alicia does need to be firm but it is Miranda who needs to grow up and treat Alicia with the respect she has earned and due. Alicia will be with Miranda through every step of her treatment and hopefully her healing will be a catalyst that brings them together.

"we know her mother clearly doesn’t". Thanks Jarifa, so, so true. And as you brought that up, I can't help think Alicia's daughters might have been influenced by this and sadly, felt free to emulate the behavior.

Urban, Carlota looked familiar to me as well but I couldn't place her. Fortunately, Rgv Chick and Jarifa have. I'm a bit shamefaced I didn't recognize her from Ringo which I helped recap!

Chick, these telenovelas always require a tight beanie and pulling hard to suspend one's disbelief , but it is unbelievable that Akin is just fine and dandy and still plotting to have Nare after what Muge, Gediz, and San did to him. Wonder where the writers will take us now that he is in Gediz's custody again .

The message I get every night from this show is that love hurts, love scars, and life is tragic . I watch comedies to balance the scales . Uff

Really - if Sancar wasn’t fighting so many battles wouldn’t he stop to think WHO in his house would want Melek gone? And maybe this is a cultural thing but why does the Barnacle Clan HAVE to live in his house? Hasn’t it been made clear to everyone in town that he’s “just not into” Meanie? Send them packing during the night if nec escorted by a couple of guards so the townsfolk aren’t gawking. Meanie wouldn’t hv near the clout with the “bad guys” that she has now …. Course we might not hv a TN either.
