Ep 28: Persistance Pays Off! Part 1

Martin is ready to take the next step—to make Alicia fall in love with him…whatever it takes. Alicia thinks he is going too fast, but Martin argues that they have known each other and addressed each other formally for some time now; he has been very patient and now that he knows that she and SerJerk are not getting back together, he is willing to do anything to have her reciprocate his feelings. Alicia thinks that this is crazy since she is much older than he is and they come from different generations. When she worries about what her daughters would say, Martin assures her that they would be happy for her. Martin hopes that her children see him as a man that is worthy of her. Alicia then wonders what Serjerk would say….and she can’t believe that they are even discussing this since she is a married woman. Martin reminds her that she is married to a man who doesn’t appreciate her or deserve her.

Yuri tells Moises that she wants to cancel the wedding (viewerville collectively shouts. “YAY!”). Moises tries to argue but, she assures him that she doesn’t want to postpone it, she wants to cancel it…she doesn’t want to marry him.

Gonzo is about to give his explanation to Lorena when his boss interrupts and reminds Gonzo that the kitchen is waiting for him. Gonzo assures Lorena that he will explain later at the academy.

Fabian tries to convince Julieta to get to work, but she insists on her conditions…and she needs the revised contract today…but definitely not later than tomorrow. Fabian agrees and tells both Juleech and Serjerk that they keep their love affair out of the station. After Fabian leaves, Serjerk thinks Juls must be happy now, but she tells him that there are too many other things that need to happen.

Moises asks Yuri what he did to make her change her mind. Yuri assures him that she does love him…but what she feels for him what she feels for him is more out of habit…she is not in love with him. Moises thinks that someone must have told her something about him, but Yuri assures him that it is her…she needs to be honest to him and herself. As Moises asks what his name is…the guy she fell in love with, they are interrupted by one of the other attorneys.

The director asks Miranda if she hit Nicole and Miranda admits it…she was only defending herself from all the things Nicole was saying. When Miranda clams up afterwards, the director threatens to call her mother.

Martin is looking for the info he needs while Alicia plays with Nelson. Martin explains that when he got divorced, his wife got the house and his daughter and he got Nelson and all the debts. Seeing that Martin is having technical difficulties, Alicia offers to leave, but Martin insists that she stay.

At the school. Culebra ask Miranda how it went with the director. Miranda tells him to go ask his little girlfriend since she was the one who ratted on her. Culebra tries to tell her that Nicole is not his girlfriend, but Miranda ignores him.

Martin and Alicia talk about their children. Alicia worries about what her daughters think of her; so, Martin assures her that they will only think that their mother did what she had to do. When Martin offers Alicia more wine, Alicia worries that she is drinking too much before eating. Martin laments that he is not the type that would get a woman drunk in order to seduce her. Alicia comments that is what she likes about him….he is a true gentleman.

 

Ep 28: Persistence Pays Off! Part 2

At the police station, Mujica is questioning the young man about the computer he had. When the kid doesn’t say much, Mujica tells Gutierrez to take over. Karina opts to also stay to observe Gutierrez.

Quique is at home and grabs the computer from Luna. When his mother asks what is going on, Quique runs off.

Moises is adamant that Yuri is cheating on him. Yuri tells him there is no one; this is a decision she made on her own. After Moises begs and grovels, Yuri tells him that they were probably not made for each other…things were going too fast and she feels very pressured; she doesn’t want to get married or hurt him.

Cholo tells his lawyer that he wants to change his plea; he is innocent and he confessed to protect his former lawyer. The lawyer tells him that he will have to look over the case again to see how he can help him.

Miranda arrives home in her usual bad mood. Eva hopes that she is not going to be rude again and shares about the first time she fell in love…but the guy never reciprocated (smart guy). When she assures Miranda that things will get better, all Miranda knows is that life is a pigsty.

Juleech shares her little victory with Chiquis…and since she will be there for 5 more years, Chiquis needs to lose weight because Juleech needs people who are in shape around her. Juleech then smiles wide and adds that things will change…because she will be the only Mrs. Carranza.

Serjerk and Fabian discuss Serjerk’s fiasco of a life. Serjerk knows that he messed up and Fabian agrees and defends Alicia. Serjerk is not happy and assures Fabian that he is not going to make things easy for Alicia.

Alicia is still with Martin who is sharing some of his notable experiences as a reporter. When Alicia comments that SerJerk also had many successful years and interviews which made him famous, Martin comments that fame can change a person…and Serjerk is not at the level where he used to be. Alicia then recalls the first day she met Martin and how Martin criticized Aerjerk. Martin laughs and tells hir that was not his best day.

Eva and Fedora see each other as they are about to leave. Fedora offers to give her a ride, but Eva isn’t ready to die…though she accepts after Fedora insists.

At the academy, Gonzo admits to Lorena that he was beaten because he was defending his mother’s best friend. When he adds that Fedora was hit by a man, Lorena becomes more understanding.

Fedora drops off Eva at the bank, but once Fedora drive away, Eva heads for her true destination.

Yuri tells Chela that she canceled the wedding…and Moises did not take it well. She assures Chela that she did not mention Cholo, so Chela is glad. Chela then points out that Yuri left Moises for a man with whom she has no future.

 

Ep 28: Persistence Pays Off! Part 3

Cholo’s attorney reports to Moises and tells him that Yuri was right…Cholo changed his plea. After the attorney mentions that Yuri has been going to visit Cholo, Moises tells him to keep him informed about the case.

Facundo goes to see Mujica and tells him that Cholo is innocent. When Mujica argues that Cholo already confessed and refuses to listen to Facundo, Facundo tells him that there is something fishy going on and he is not going to stop until he finds out what it is.

Karina calls Carlota and tells her that they have recovered some of the stolen items were recovered and she can come pick them up. Carlota thinks it’s odd that it is Karina who called to tell her.

Martin continues to offer Alicia wine. When she hears the music that is playing, Alicia comments that it is a song that she likes; so Martin asks her to dance. As he holds her close, Martin tells her that he likes having her so close. Alicia whispers that she is frightened by the way he looks at her and with the things he tells her. She then asks how he can be interested in her; she is 50 years old…and she trembles every time she looks in the mirror. Martin only holds her closer as she rests her head on his shoulder.

Lucas goes to visit SerJerk to give him the of the estimate for the surgery. Lucas then states that he laments not having a father. Serjerk scoffs and tells him not to be so dramatic. After Lucas leaves, Diablo walks in , so Serjerk tells him that no one can know who Lucas really is.

Juleech goes to see Tamayo to make sure that she is going to get what she wants…and to ask for something that she didn’t want to mention to Serjerk. She wants her own program without having to give up her spot on Serjerk’s program. When Tamayo points out that SerJerk won the award and continues to be revered by the public, Juleech insists that he at least look at her proposal.

Fedora gets home and sees Gonzo. They talk about Gonzo’s new job at the bakery and Gonzo tells her he doesn’t want his family to know about it. When Fedora wonders how his father will react, Gonzo points out that things will be even worse when they find out about their relationship…since the sparks between them are very obvious.

Eva is at casino playing away her money.

Serjerk goes to see Juleech and wants to make her dream come true…to go live with her.

Yahya goes into Miranda’s room and calls out to her. She doesn’t find her, but she finds a note addressed to her and asking that she not forget to feed Benito, the fish. Meanwhile, Miranda is on a bus. She is surprised by Culebra who sits beside her and, with a big smile, asks where they are going.

Martin continues trying to woo Alicia and describes all that he admires about her. Alicia had never heard anyone describe her like he does…and when she can’t sleep it is his words that protect her and embrace her. Martin assures her that he is not losing her and not letting her go. Alicia thinks that some day she will only be that woman who fell in love with someone much younger than she is. Martin professes his love….he fell in love with her, not her age; the only thing he sees in her eyes and in her soul is love. He looks deeply into her eyes and softly tells her, “ I love you, Alicia” … and they KISSSSS!!

Speaking of proposals, the joy was nice to see for a change. But with all that money he could have gotten her a bigger rock than that. That one looks like it came out of a crackerjack box. But it Dont matter to her the love of life Gave her an engagement ring. I'd want a 5 karat rock, white gold or Two tone, size 7. Ok now back to nare and her joy Yaaah. Let's hope The joy isn't short lived. But you know how that goes with these two.

Nina, I thought the exact same thing about the ring!! Sancar should have taken a magnifying glass so Nare could look for the diamonds! 😂

BTW, tonight I was finishing off a recap so I listened more than I watched, but I did have to look up when I heard Elvan’s voice because I didn’t know if it was Elvan or Sahra who was talking. Could it be that they are using the same person to do both voiceovers??

I am looking forward to Miranda’s experiences on the road/on the bus whatever her destination now with a grinning Culebra.

Interesting comment from Samuel referring to his situation of being a child without a father as something “so common in this country.”

No, Moisés “didn't take it well.” I was surprised he was in tears, though. So now it looks like that Cholo will have to put up with some kind of pressure from him. Cholo can’t catch a break.

So, could the “perfect” Eva have a gambling problem? I ask that because she kept her casino destination a secret. Does she have her own money to lose or does she lose Sergio’s?

How far will the network let Julieta push her demands?

Well, the romance between Alicia and Martín has launched. Most importantly, I wonder what Nelson thinks?

At first I thought the same as Nina and Rgv Chick-- is that it? But then it seemed to me that Sancar was giving her the same ring he sent to Nare on her 18th birthday, except this one had a small diamond. In a sense he's going back to the beginning and doing it right this time. Just my take.

MIranda's and Culebra's bus experience will be something to look forward to. I was very surprised to see Culebra there! Has he been following her? This guy sure is an "enigma" LOL Maybe thats why he and Miranda get along so well.

What I found odd was that Lucas said that he regretted not having a father. His statement came from nowhere! And I think you meant to write that Sergio commented that being a child without a father was very common. So maybe sergio grew up without a father??? If he ddi, that's no excuse for his behavior.

I too wasalso surprised at Moises's tears; he seemed genuine in his pleas to Yuri. And I agree that he's bound to give Cholo a hard time.

I have no idea where Eva is getting her money to gamble. We know nothing about Alicia's father or if he left the family some type of pension.

Julieta's ambition is just as bad as SerJerk's persistence. The only way Tamayo could possibly approve a show of her own would be if he thought it would bring on more viewers and money...or at least that would be what wuold happen in RL...I have to keep reminding myself...this is a TN!

Martin finally wore Alicai down...with those eyes, who could resist!? May the TN gods help Martin when SerJerk finds out!

Well,another twist revealed. So now we know the real reason Eva has been so adamant about Alicia staying with Serjerk. She doesnt want to lose the source of her gambling money .

Mujica is so creepysmarmy the way he slithers around poor Karina . Yuck.... i feel like i need a shower after a scene with him in it . Telenovelas seem to be showing more and more police corruption.

I thought it was suspicious that the first thing Moises said to Yuri when she cancelled the wedding was, "Why? Did somebody tell you something about me?" What was he afraid of? Maybe he IS cheating and thinks someone outed him.

The was Julieta was prancing around Tamayo leads me to believe that she might be aiming for a bigger fish at the station than Sergio. And he (Tamayo) commented on how good she was looking, which (IMO) was unprofessional and inappropriate for a boss to say. Maybe she wants to give Sergio a dose of his own medicine. I'm probably wrong, but if that's the case, she will be playing with fire.

Get out of bed!, Horacio tells Valentina and Claudio, standing at the door of Val's bedroom. No wait, I don't want to see you. Turn around, they tell him, as he looks away and covers his eyes. We're even wearing shoes, says Claudio. Nothing happened. Don't go around saying you want grandchildren, he jokes.

At the hospital, Adelaida answers Ricardo's question. I would like to tell you I know something about your father but the truth is I don't. That matter remained a secret in your family. Please Adelaida, you got along very well with my mother. You have to know something, he pleads. After the accident my life changed. I lost everything. I lost the one I thought was my father, I lost the woman I love. I know I'll die at any moment. My life's a time bomb. I beg you, just tell me who my father was. Forgive me, Adelaida says. It's time to call the nurse. Excuse me.

At Olympo Pratas, Patricia is talking about Nora. She's too careless. She's the one that provoked the discussion that caused Guillermo's incident, she tells Yolanda. Nobody noticed but I'm not fooled. We'll let Nora do her part, says Yolanda. You're right, says Pat. We'll get rid of her later. Of course it has to be before Guillermo dies. Yesterday was very close. Don't even say it, Yolanda says. I think you can get back what you want without the need for Guillermo to die. What was that doctor doing at dinner? Hector is at breakfast, telling Camila and Consuelo about last night's dinner events. Was Helena there?, asks Connie. They don't get along, Hector says. She went to the hospital to make peace with her father, but she leaft in tears. He told her, "You're not my daughter". How could he be so cold?, asks Connie. And Helena is a great woman, adds Camila. He should be proud of her. There are men who abandon their children and don't care about anything, says Hector. You'll never abandon me, will you papa?, asks Mina. I couldn't live without you, he promises. We'll be together until I'm old and you have to change my diapers. You'll be a nice old man, Mina says.

Helena brings some photos to Helena's office and sees that she's still hurting from the day before. I never should have advised you to talk to your father. You ended up fighting with him. He didn't even give me a chance to fight, Helena says. Like always, he simply said I'm not his daughter. Helena says she is sorry that things are affecting Valentina's wedding. Val tells her about spending the night with Claudio and Helena finds it lovely. Val receives a call from Ricardo. Don't hang up, he says. I'm desperate. I know you're getting married at any moment. Claudio just came to my house to threaten me. He wanted to hit me. You can't marry him. If you marry Claudio I'm capable of doing anything. I warn you Valentina.

Nora has kept her word to come to Yolanda's office. That means you really want to be a great model, says Yolanda. Ever since I was a little girl, Nora tells her. I don't know how, but I'm going to convince my father to support me. We'll take care of that, Yolanda says, but I want to make it clear to you that this isn't a game. The prestige of my fashion house must be protected. If you are going to work with me we have to do it formally. I have an expert eye for recognizing new talent and you Nora, are a diamond in the rough. I imagine that's why the media loved me in Helena's show, Nora gushes. Yes, uh, without doubt, for your potencial. The time has come to formalize our labor agreement. Once you sign this contract you can count on me to take your career to the highest level. I love the idea, says Nora. One day I'll succeed and everyone that didn't believe in me will regret it. Acepto, Yolanda. Starting now, nothing will stop me, Nora promises, as she signs the contract without reading it.

When Claudio arrives in Bernard's office in Monterrey he gets right to the point. He has a contract signed by Señor Olmedo that has a confidentiality clause. If Olmedo told Bernard anything about the events of the diamond bracelet and he published it, both of them would have comitted a crime. Do what you want, Claudio says, but defamation is costly. If I retract, will Helena offer me an exclusive interview?, Bernard asks. I can't guarantee it, but I'll talk to her, Claudio says. Remind me to change lawyers, Bernard tells his assistants. He recants on camera and declares Helana and Valentina innocent of all charges. Evryone celebrates at Helena's except Leonardo who just shakes his head.

Leonardo is in his office using a model of an atom to crush a white substance in a ziplock bag. I'm sorry Majo, he tells himself. We can't have this baby. He gets a call from Yolanda. You have to control Nora, she says. That runaway is causing a lot of problems for Patricia. That's not so easy to do, he says. Oh please, Yolanda responds. You know very well how to handle a woman or am I wrong? I might have a way, he says. Maybe Nora isn't who she says she is. Perhaps she isn't Guillermo's real daughter.

Now you're chasing a chauffeur, Ricardo tells Patricia at the hospital outside of Guillermo's room. Shut up, she says. You don't know anything. I know you judged me for being in love with an employee and now you're infatuated with a cab driver. And you have the nerve to bring him to the house. That naco caused Guillermo's heart attack. I'm going for a water. Patricia approaches Guillermo as he talks in his sleep. Why did you leave, Estela?, he says. Do you see what you did Helena? It's your fault that your mother is dead. Patricia looks surprised.

Ricardo has another episode and faints in the hallway. When he recovers, Patricia asks Rosa Maria if they should do more studies. Ricardo doesn't want to. He thinks they'll just confirm that there is no cure. He asks to be alone. RM and Pat leave and Nora shows up. She has some news for him but is worried about his health. If she tells him, she says, he owes her one. OK, he agrees. Just tell me. Valentina and Claudio are getting married tomorrow and there is no turning back.
 

TU AMOR ep 57 part 3

Leonardo tells Majo that he needs to talk to her in his office. He tells her to sit dow. He's not going to do anything. She's not crazy about being near him after what happened last time. What I said was terrible, he agrees, and I didn't congratulate you on your pregnancy. I'm not going to acknowledge the baby though. I know you don't want children, Majo says, but as soon as I found out, I did. To have someone to care for, to be together with. And I'm OK with being a single mother. That's stupendous, he says caressing her hair. There is one detail. I'd like you to tell Helena that we went together to the clinic for the artificial insemination. Why would I say something like that?, Majo says. So, you confirmed my ridiculous story so you wouldn't be recognized as the father. What if someday the child asks about his father? Make up something, Leo says, but don't involve me. She turns away in tears. He heartlessly uses the opportunity to pour his powder into her tea. Leave me alone, she says when he tries to touch her. Take your tea, he says. Chamomile is good for the baby. As if that's important to you, Majo replies, taking the tea and leaving.

Yolanda explodes when she sees Bernard's televised retraction. She calls him a coward for declaring Valentina innocent. I'm going to end his career, she declares. I'll get him fired. If I can't damage Valentina this way I'll find a way to end her for good. I'll make Nora end up hating her. Valentina is going to suffer as never before. I promise.

Enrique visits Guillermo at the hospital and finds out that he won't be coming to the office for a few days. Gullermo says his daughter will supervise everything and tells Enrique to call Humberto. He wants him at his daughter's side until he returns to work. Enrique finds Patricia and tells her that he's tired of Guillermo's humiliations. I'm going to empty the bank accounts, he says. Let's see if he treats me the same way when he's poor. And since your father died, you've found thousands of excuses not to be with me. Please, Patricia, I can give you the life that you deserve. No Enrique, she says. I lost the life that I deserve a long time ago. When Guillermo took my dairy and Helena took my ranch. If she took what I most desired from me, I'm going to take what she most desires from her. So, everything with the chauffeur is revenge against Helena? That's it, Pat says. Focus Enrique. You and I are going to be together. But first I have to make sure that Helena suffers as I have suffered.

When Claudio get's back to Helena's studio, no one is there. Everyone comes out of hiding to celebrate his success. Helena sees that there is something wrong with Rocío. She says she feels terrible and might empty her intestines. What did you eat?, asks Val. Nothing, Rocio replies. I only drank the tea and... Sorry. She runs to throw up. Leonardo knocks the teacup to the floor where it shatters. Sorry, he says. I wanted to give it to you but I don't think it was the tea. Maybe it was something she ate. Sorry, he says as he scrambles to pick up all the pieces.


 

TU AMOR ep 57 part 4

The day of the civil wedding arrives and it's far more elaborate than just signing some papers. Dozens of guests have assembled in the garden of the orphanage. Even Claudio's baseball team is there. There are white banners and flowers and the guests are wearing their best clothes. The mood is festive outside. Inside the orphanage, Helena is talking to Valentina. She says her father would be happy because she's marrying the man of her life. She says she loves her and gives her a hug. You look beautiful, she says. Are you ready? I'm ready, Val replies and they head for the garden. Claudio waits by the official as Valentina shows up in her gown, holding a bouquet of white flowers. All the guests turn toward her and smile. Homerun!, says Mina, swinging her arms like she's batting. You look beautiful, Claudio says, as Val approaches and they embrace. Now we'll be together for always, he says as they kiss. Ricardo runs to the ceremony.. Valentina, he says. You can't get married and leave me. You're mine! You don't belong here, says Claudio. Take off. Who's going to remove me?, says Ricardo, You? Ricardo shoves Claudio hard. Get out of here!, Valentina tells Ricardo. Ricardo grabs her by the arm and punches Claudio in the face. Claudio hits back without thinking and knocks Ricardo to the ground. He's dead, says Valentina. You killed him!

dondi356 and Susanlynn, if that was the same ring, then Sancar needs to have Feride cleanse it with prayer or whatever she can come up with because the first time he gave it to Nare, she got raped and now she got drugged with the possibility of being murdered. Just sayin' :-)
 

TU AMOR. Another superb recap, JoelD! Well, that was easy! Yolanda's theft accusations against Helena and Val were resolved remarkable quickly--only to make way for new problems, of course. Once again, Nora is stirring up trouble--even risking Ricardo's life by telling him about Claudio's and Val's wedding. Oh oh for Nora! Things tend to go badly for people who sign work contracts with Yolanda. Awful Leo with his abortifacent. I hope Rocio who drank it by mistake is ok. If Yolanda fires Beba, I hope Beba finds a way to take revenge. Oh please! I thought the disruption of Claudio's and Val's wedding by Ricardo was kind of contrived, especially as it's become a dramatic cliche. I strongly suspect Ricardo is not really dead, but his collapse after Claudio hit him (back) will no doubt disrupt Val's and Claudio's relationship again. Ho hum.

SpanProf, You're being kind of hard on the writers. Ha. They deserve it though. Ricardo didn't have anything up his sleeve when he showed up to the wedding. I wanted him to reveal something earthshattering. All he had was Waah, don't leave me Val. If he's still alive he'll get what he wanted through luck only.

Anonymous, i ,too, thougbt it looked like Jul was flirting with the boss. Jul is definitely a social\work climber . I would love to know more about her background. No mention of her family , but she sure seems like a spoiled, entitled, arrogant mean girl
 

Embajador S2 #35 part 1

Sahra makes a call to check in with her new best friend, Nare. How are you? How is Sancar? Nare shares the good news, Sancar is already walking. Good thing this is over the phone because Sahra has to pretend to be happy about it. He’s been walking for a month, Nare adds, but he didn’t tell me. He wanted to surprise me.

Sahra asks, what surprise? Nare happily replies, Sancar just proposed marriage. And that’s an unhappy surprise for Sahra. She invites herself over for breakfast tomorrow to hear the details. Nare tells her she’s not at the mansion anymore, she’s at her old house and Elvan is with her. The call ends and Sahra takes a bag of oranges and a bag of medical supplies into the house.

We see a man watching Sahra from a distance. He makes a call to Kman and informs him Sahra is at Meanie’s house. Kman wonders why Sahra would be there.

Meanie opens the door for Sahra and asks her for an update. Did you go to the mansion? How is Sancar? Sahra tells Meanie, with a measure of distaste, that she is like the women of the 50s who harass their husbands and adds, that's how you chased him away, right? And then, Sahra ever so casually drops the bomb—by the way, Sancar proposed Nare. Meanie is devastated. [another idiot like Gediz who thought there was a chance.] Sahra mocks, if you were pregnant, you could give birth at the wedding in front of everyone, it would be epic!

Sahra turns her attention to Ceylan. Ceylan shares her happy news, the baby kicked for the first time today. Sahra is happy for her. They plan to do an ultrasound tomorrow. Maybe they can find out the baby’s gender. Ceylan tells Sahra dinner is ready. Sahra is not hungry, she takes her bags and hurries up to her room, past the weepy Meanie.

Sahra gets to work, injecting the oranges with a medication. She thinks, you killed my brother. Do you think you will marry? Don’t believe it.

Sancar and Melek arrive at Nare’s. He hugs his fiancée and whispers, so you leave me the day we get engaged? She replies, don't think that I abandoned you—Elvan left Yahya and left the mansion. They can’t talk in front of Melek so Nare changes the subject. Sancar and Melek have packages and she asks what they bought.

They don’t show Nare what’s in the bags. She complains, you took advantage that I was not there! Sancar says that Melek just wanted to spend time with her dad. Are you jealous? Melek tells her dad, let's hide the junk food before she sees it. Ooops! Sancar jokes, are you sure you are not Kavruk's daughter? He can’t keep a secret either.

Nare tells her daughter they still have unfinished business. You knew your dad could walk and didn’t tell me. Melek says it was hard to do. Her dad pressured her every day not to say it. As her “punishment”, Nare sends Melek inside to put everything away in the kitchen.

Sancar asks, where is Elvan? Crying in her room. Sancar says they will talk to her once Melek goes to sleep. Nare asks him how it went with Feride, where is the body? Sancar reminds her that normal couples don't talk about bodies that they buried. Nevertheless, Nare wants an answer. Sancar gives a sigh and says, I've solved it for now. I brought her to the mansion.

Melek comes back outside and asks for the reenactment of the proposal. Her parents oblige. Sancar kneels, Nare looks surprised and he delivers his lines [Turkish], “Narem … Alaca Kuşum … will you ride on Gece’s back and become a bride in my mansion?” Nare answers, Yes! Yes! Yes!

Melek gleefully claps and asks, after that? Sancar replies, I hugged her ... like this. Melek asks, but why didn't you kiss? I think it would have been better. The parents are surprised. Sancar calls Melek over and he picks her up. Family of three hug and kiss.

Montage: Elvan cries in her room and removes her rings. Gediz cries at his special place. Sancar peels fruit for his girls and the “normal” family of three snuggle together out on the patio. Sahra injects more oranges.

Sancar takes the sleeping Melek to bed.

There’s a knock at Elvan’s door she assumes it’s Nare but it is Sancar. He asks if he can enter. Nare follows. Elvan starts crying and he comforts her. He asks her, what did my mother say to you? Elvan answers, nothing, you did. Sancar doesn’t understand, he never told her anything. Elvan relates, yes you did. You told your mom that your brother was having an affair with Dudu. He was cheating. Sancar is surprised, you saw the video?

Elvan continues, then you told her I would stay there. You entrusted the orphan to your mother. When you said that, it hurt me a lot. Sancar says he meant it with a good intention. Elvan knows. She tells Sancar, you always cared for this orphan, and I appreciate it. I just hope you understand I will never stay at the mansion again. And thanks for finding a lawyer, but ... I had already hired one.

Nare tells her, we are going to find you a job. Sancar takes Elvan’s hand and says, everything will be done as you wish. Don't worry, you will have a job. Your lawyer can work with mine. Sancar lets Elvan know that whether or not she goes back to the mansion, Yahya won't be able to put one foot inside.

Elvan says she no longer wants anything to do with Yahya, but there is one thing she wants to ask from Sancar. Only Nare, Gulsiye, and you know. Sancar asks, don't the others know about the divorce? Elvan answers, yes but I said it was because I don't love him anymore. Sancar gets it, he laughs, it's like you quit before you got fired. Elvan laughs, something like that. He agrees not to say anything.

Sancar looks at his watch and says, it's getting late, time to go to sleep. Nare pulls him up off the bed and Elvan gives them both a very dirty look. Next thing you know, Elvan is pushing Sancar out into the yard. He complains. Nare is laughing. Elvan is adamant, you can't be holding her hand. And don’t think you are going to sleep with her before you get married!

Elvan pushes him all the way to the gate. Sancar begs for Nare to intercede. Nare tells him, sorry but you said you would do anything for her. Sancar replies, and now I regret that. Elvan pushes Sancar out, but he asks, just a kiss [before he leaves]? Elvan says only on the cheek. Oh, come on! Elvan says okay but make it quick. She closes her eyes. Sancar signals to Nare and they each give Elvan a kiss on the head. They all laugh.

Sancar walks back into the yard with an ultimatum. If I can’t stay, I have to take the daughter or the mother with me. You decide. My foot hurts already. Do you want me to go and cry alone? Elvan and Nare smile. We don’t hear the decision.

They cut a scene here. Ceylan gives Necdet some advice on how to win Gulsiye’s heart. She sends him off dressed in a shirt and tie.

Kman shows up as Ceylan waves to Necdet driving off in his bus. Uh oh, Ceylan tries to hide her pregnancy behind a small bag she’s carrying. Kman confronts her, when I first met the doctor, she told me you had mentioned that I thought Sancar killed Akin and hid the body. Since I was hospitalized, they took the opportunity to force you to speak. I didn't give it much importance because it wasn't your fault. You were forced and I forgave you. Now I see that you and the doctor live at Menekse's house. What are you up to? He looks Ceylan over and asks, did you gain weight? Ceylan gulps.

Embajador S2 #35 part 3

They cut another scene. Necdet tries Ceylan’s advice out on Gulsiye and sneaks up on her as she feeds the chickens. It doesn’t work out for Necdet as hoped.

Gulsiye is still out with the chickens when Dudu appears. What the hell are you doing here? Go away, Gulsiye says as she leads her sister out, someone will see you. Dudu pulls away and says, are you really that scared? Your so-called sister (Elvan) will no longer be here. They told me she will divorce Yahya because she doesn't love him. It was good luck for me, right?

Gulsiye asks if Dudu has come to mock. Nope, Dudu is tired of being the one who hides. I know what everyone thinks. My aunt tells me, Yahya tells me and the lady of this house (Halise) tells me. But you tell me, and it hurts. Now I will do things I never thought I could have done.

Gulsiye asks, what else can you do? You already did everything. Dudu laughs, if everyone thinks I'm that bad, then maybe I should be. I’ll yell—Yahya cheats on his wife---Gulsiye quickly covers her sister’s mouth—shut up.

Dudu continues, do you know why I want to shout it? So Yahya will get what he deserves and everyone knows what he is like. Because I was not alone in this bed, understand? I've worked to build my career, and now I want to be the legitimate bride. Because the lady (Halise) treated me like a whore who seduced her poor son.

I’m going to be the legitimate bride, Dudu tells Gulsiye, but I'll pass over you if you get in my way. They took my sister from me. Please don't get in my way because I'm going to make everyone who messed with me pay. Don't make me lose my sister again. Please don't turn your back on me, Dudu tearfully begs, I'm not a bad person. I need your support, sister. Gulsiye is crying, too but she walks away from Dudu without a word.

Nare is preparing a cheese board for breakfast and Elvan complains about her putting oily and stinky cheese on the board she uses for bread. Nare tries to explain about the cheese and is sure that Sahra will like them. If there is one thing about being the ambassador’s daughter, she says, I know how to welcome guests. It was the only good thing my father taught me. He didn't want me to embarrass him with his guests.

Elvan says, what a difficult childhood. Nare sighs, yes, but who needs a father now? We learned the important things on our own, right? Besides, Nare says, we have each other. We don't need any man [don’t let Sancar hear this]. Elvan agrees, you are right. You and I are holding hands and we're seeing straight towards our future, right? Nare answers, it doesn't matter what happened to us in the past.

There’s knock at the door and Nare thinks it’s Sahra. Uh, oh, it’s Guven. Nare quickly says, I'm not interested in Akin's inheritance, bye, and she tries to shut the door. Guven pushes back. He says with a smile, I didn't come for that. I heard the good news, that's why I came. Nare asks what news?

Guven says he went to the mansion and was told she wasn’t there anymore. I am very glad that you have finally left that man, he says. You have come to your senses. He asks, are you okay? Can I support you with something? Nare responds, I would say I need a parent, but I don't think you brought one with you. It means nothing that you came. You are dead to me. Then she delivers her good news. She flashes her ring and says, I will marry the peasant's son.

Guven sputters, but ... it can't be. Do you want to hurt me? You want to punish me? Are you going to be happy when you marry that idiot and see how it kills me to watch it? Nare replies, you won't be able to see it because you are not going to be invited to my wedding. And if you die, I won't go to your funeral either. Sorry.

Embajador S2 #35 part 4

Nare continues, seeing that you are here, I will see if I can understand ...how it is that a father cannot give love to his daughter? How come a father can't give more than his DNA and a class on cheeses to receive guests? You do know that children are loved, right? I will never understand why you did not want to love me. Guven looks ashamed and upset as he turns away from the door, or maybe he’s thinking he’s lost the inheritance. He keeps looking back at Nare as he leaves.

Uni cut some more fun stuff. Feride gives it to Halise at breakfast and everyone tries not to laugh too much.

Yahya shows up while everyone is having breakfast out on the porch. Sancar gets up and tells Yahya to meet him in Grandpa’s room. Halise gets up, too, and stops Yahya. He asks if that’s his aunt and is that why she called him. No, Halise says, I called because Elvan wants to divorce you. Yahya knows that already. Halise tells him that she knows what happened with Dudu and that Sancar knows, too.

Yahya worries, and Elvan? Halise says she doesn’t know. But do you have any idea what that woman will do if she finds out? Swear to me you are going to do everything to make Elvan forgive you. As long as I live, that divorce will not happen. And fix things with your brother, hear me? You can’t get divorced until you bury me. Go.

At least Uni left this in: Gulsiye asks Feride to try the salad. But Feride is more interested in what is going on with Yahya. She asks Halise, what did your son do? No answer from Halise. Feride says, what a horror, they are all bad. There are two things that I can't stand in the world, they disgust me. First, the men. And the second is Halise. Everyone, including Melek, tries to stifle their laughter.

Yahya enters Grandpa’s room. Sancar’s got the death stare going on but doesn’t even turn to look at his brother. I’m going to give you the Turkish for the rest of this scene. Yahya makes his case, I know I’ve made a lot of mistakes with my wife. Elvan only knows a few things, but she still doesn't know everything. I'm going to ask her to forgive me—Sancar says nothing and decks Yahya!

Yahya gets up and continues, I'm going to make her love me again. I will not let her divorce me. Without a word, Sancar decks his brother again! Yahya gets up again and tells Sancar, I love Elvan. Sancar grabs his brother by the collar and shakes him, did you love Elvan when you slept with Dudu?

Yahya counters, didn’t you love Nare when you got Menekse pregnant? Sancar shouts, don’t compare this! Don’t compare! Why, asks Yahya, because Elvan is not Nare and I am not Sancar Efe? Yahya says, I am not knocking you down because of your mistakes. But because of you, your beloved went to the cliff, she gave up. When she came back, she saw you at the wedding table. You left her for another woman. And now, you are getting married again. Yahya drives his point home, if you can be forgiven, why can’t I?

Sancar smiles, you told me very well, Yahya. You hit me in the heart, but you are wrong. Whether there are many sins or just a few, if she loves you with your sins, then she will forgive. The important one is not the one who is forgiven but the one who forgives. Before Sancar leaves he warns Yahya, if Elvan wants to divorce, don't bother her, otherwise you will have problems with me.

Sancar goes outside and speaks with Kavruk. They are talking about the guards, and they have someone watching at Nare’s. Kavruk tells him that Guven came to the mansion looking for Nare and they told him she went back to her house. Sancar is worried that Guven will bother her. He doesn’t know they will get married yet. Sancar says he’ll go to Nare’s and he asks Kavruk to take care of Melek.

Sahra arrives at Nare’s. She is anxious to see the ring and hear about the proposal. Sahra thinks that ring is wonderful! She wants a man who will give her a ring like that [lol]. Elvan says the man who gives it is more important. You could end up with an idiot. [Elvan should know, have you seen her rings?] They sit at the table. Sahra has brought some oranges for Vitamin C, and she loves the cheeses. Nare looks at Elvan and smiles.

Nare gets a text from Gediz: "I don't know whether to congratulate you or just destroy everything, but we need to speak one last time. Maybe I need you to look at me one more time and tell me you hate me. I'm collapsing, Nare. " I don’t know why they cut this, but stupid Nare texts Gediz back with an “okay.” He immediately leaves for Nare’s house.

Nare recounts Sancar's proposal as Sahra hands out the orange slices. Sahra puts on the act, now I don't want the ring anymore. I just want a man like the one who loves Nare. [maybe she can have Gediz as the consolation prize. They deserve each other.] Sahra asks, why aren't you at the mansion with your fiancé? Your bed must feel very empty, why don't you go with him? Elvan interjects, her bed will be full after the wedding. In the meantime, he can cuddle his daughter a lot.

Sahra says, I’m no longer as jealous of you as I am of Melek. Some of us did not grow up with our parents. She quickly apologizes, although I am an adult, some wounds do not heal quickly. Elvan says she’s sorry to hear this. She asks her, was your father also an idiot?

Nare and Elvan are beginning to feel the effects of the spiked oranges.

Sahra asks the ladies, who else had father like this? Both Nare and Elvan raise their hands. Sahra asks if anyone is feeling nauseous or dizzy. Yep, they are all feeling bad. Is it something they ate? Sahra thinks it’s the basturma [pastrami’s cousin]. Nare suggests they go to the hospital. Sahra says she has some serum. It’s the same thing they will get in the hospital. She can take care of everyone here.

Meanwhile, Sancar is on his way to Nare’s and so is Gediz!

Sahra goes to Nare up in the bedroom. Sahra tells Nare she is beginning to feel better. She prepares a syringe. Nare asks her what it is. It’s sodium pentothal, Sahra replies, we use it all the time for sedation. It’s good, you will feel relaxed.

Sahra gets on the bed next to Nare and says, and the best part is… that you will not be able to remember anything of this conversation. Now you have to tell me the truth. They call this medicine "truth serum".

Nare looks out of it, and we are out, too!

How old do the writers want us to think these people are? Judging by the ages of the children ,Alicia has to at least be in her 40s and Martin has to at least be in his 30s un!ess he got Carlota pregnant as a young teen . Jul looks in her 20s and Serjerk in his 50s. So what is tbe ave difference between Martin and Alicia supposed to be ???...10 years? I had a friend who married a guy 10 years younger...lasted a few years. Another friend ' s second marriage was to a guy five years younger ...still going strong after many years .

I’ve been out of touch for a bit and I’ve missed you all - BUT thank you Dondi for your terrific recaps of this and Hercai, I don’t know how you do it all!

Wonderful scenes with Feride! She is a hoot! Wonder if she’s ever met her namesake the chicken Feride. Thank you for including the scenes Uni cut out- I would love to hv seen the 3 actors praying over the dream.

Gediz is beyond redemption to me. I liked the Season 1 guy so much better, faithful friend secretly infatuated with the girl he can’t have compared to the unrecognizable wild eyed nut case we now hv to endure. He and sexy nut case girl deserve each other. I didn’t care AT ALL about his whaling at the end.

Little Melek tho is a treasure. I thought someone mentioned this was her 1st TN? She is so believable it’s like she’s been acting for years.

LOL, good observation about the ring, Rgv Chick. I guess Sancar thought if he gave her a ring with a little diamond this time, it would work out better. I had to laugh when Sahra made a big deal like she wanted one just like that, too.

SaraAnne, Feride Efe knows about her namesake, but they have not met yet. In the cut brekkie scene, Gulsiye offered eggs to Feride Efe but she turned them down saying they are probably old. Halise Efe told her, they are fresh, Feride Hen lays them every morning. Feride Efe asked Gulsiye if the milk on the table was from Halise (cow). Gulsiye said yes, so Feride Efe drank the “fresh” milk instead.

I agree, Beren Gençalp (Melek) is a wonderful actress.

Susanlynn, if Uni didn’t cut stuff and translated accurately, we would have a better idea of why Sancar brought Feride to the mansion. She freaked out big time because she was having bad dreams, and she blamed them on the corpse buried there. Sancar knows it’s only a temporary solution but bringing her to the mansion was the only thing he could do under the circumstances. It’s too dangerous to move Akin now.

SI NOS DEJAN #29 Patt 1

This is just the facts tonight and there are plenty of them.

Alicia and Martín keeps kissing until she suddenly decides she needs to leave. He asks why she is so afraid to fall in love again.

Culebra explains how he tracked Miranda down and how he is going to go with her wherever she is going. She says she plans to disappear. That sounds perfect to him.

Yaya tells Yuri that Miranda is gone and shows her the note.

Moisés informs Cholo that Yuri was replaced on his case because she is too busy planning her wedding to him. Cholo is not to be in contact with Yuri. He forbids Cholo to see her. When Cholo tells him he cannot do that, Moisés lets him know that he is now his new defense attorney and will see that Cholo gets what he deserves.

Yaya wants to call Alicia but Yuri stops her. Yuri insists that she will take care of finding Miranda.

Miranda asks if Culebra is crazy. He thinks not because he is doing the same as she. Well, she has millions reasons to do what she is doing. He insists that he has his reasons like solving the enigma, the mystery that she is. If that takes crossing the border, count him in. Miranda smiles but quickly frowns when she gets a call from Yuri. She doesn’t answer.

Yuri feeds Benito the fish after leaving Miranda a message.

Gonzo has installed Alexa to help him in the kitchen at home. Yuri tells him about Miranda amd shows him the note. She thinks Miranda is doing this to get some attention but it is dangerous out there. Yuri admits to Gonzo that she has decided to not get married.

Moses tells his associate that he will no longer be defending Cholo. Moisés will be doing it himself.

Cholo is upset and tells his cellmate El Azote that he found out that Yuri is going to marry Moisés. El Azote reminds him that snobby girls like Yuri like to play with fire.

Julieta confronts Sergio about not living with her and always having his family as fhe excuse. He says he is ready now for them to make a life together. He is asking Alicia for a divorce. Julieta wonders if Alicia didn’t ask first. She will not be treated as a second choice or consolation prize like she has been treated for the last three years. She wants Sergio to announce to his family, to his public, to everyone that they are together as a couple.

Martín is trying to convince Alicia to give love another try.She says that she has been so preoccupied by her pain. He just wants her to know she has the right to remake her life.






 

DEJAN Part 2

Alicia thanks Martín for being so persistent but he is going to have to be patient. A knock at the door interrupts them. It is Karina who is clearly *itchy when she notices Alicia.

Carlota has to remind Sofía to stop trying to get her and her father back. Sofía tells Carlota she is forbidden to fall in love with anyone else. Carlota reminds her that her father is interested in someone else. She suggests that Sofía forget about it all. Sofía wants to find out who it is. She asks if she can bring her dad some pozole so she can see him for a bit.

Martín introduces Karina as his neighbor and friend. Karina asks where they know each other from. Martín says from work and quickly asks if Karina needs anything. Never taking an eye off of Alicia, she says she just wants Martín to know that they found a criminal who had all fo the items stolen from his wife’s house. Martín reminds her it is his EX-wife. She didn’t want to interrupt anything but she must have interrupted a big celebration with the two wine bottles she sees. Alicia looks mortified and is ready to leave. Martín says no because they haven’t finished their meeting, Karina nastily leaves them to their meeting. Alicia asks if Martín is involved with the neighbor.

Sergio says he will happily announce their being together but they have to wait until he is divorced. If not, it could complicate the process. The divorce should take two weeks maybe less. Julieta is willing to give him the time but she doesn’t want to hear anymore excuses. She gives him new keys to her place with a warning not to mess things up.

Fabián and Tamayo discuss Julieta wanting her own show. They are not fans of hers but they decide not to tell Sergio.

Fabián gets a phone call and decides he has to leave.

Culebra asks Miranda if she is sure about she is doing. Yes she is. If he isn’t, he can go back. He didn't like when she lied to him about who she was. It was like she was making fun of him. She tells him boo hoo and that people, have been making fun of her her whole life. He asks who is she running from. She says she is running away from everyone. It is as if she doesn't fit in anywhere. At home with her family there are only fights. Her parents are getting divorced, her family is destroyed.

Yuri tells Gonzo how Moisés had been pressuring her about the wedding. She couldn’t take it anymore. Everyone expected them to get married, but she just couldn’t do it. She doesn’t love Moisés. Gonzo thinks the marriage would have been a big mistake. Moisés is too boring of a guy for her. Eva overhears there is no wedding and is shocked.

Moisés has to see Mujica about Cholo.

Eva harps on about Yuri not marrying Moisés. She thinks it must have something to do with that client she overheard Yuri talking to and saying something like she couldn't sleep thinking about him. Gonzo says canceling the wedding isn't the end of the world. Eva thinks the family is out of control.

Julia has brought Rebeca back from the university. She tells Fabián that Rebeca had a panic attack. Rebeca goes to bed. Julia tells him how Rebeca crying so she brought her home. When she was done crying, it was as if she were gone.

Moisés informs he is Cholo’s new defense attorney but has no plans to defend Cholo. He will make sure he rots in prison.












 

DEJAN Part 3

Correction. Previous entry. Moisés informs Mujica . ..

Cholo is going to call Yuri but finds that the cellphone has been robbed from its hiding place.

Carlota tells Sofía to call or text her dad before going over to his place or she will do it. Sofía says she is going to text him but doesn’t. She tells her mom that her dad says that they should come over and he is waiting for them.

Eva is scolding St. Jude for things not turning out like they should when she is interrupted by Yaya who tells her that Miranda never came home.

Culebra asks Miranda what the plan is. Are they crossing the border, going to the USA, living the American dream? He says she must have some idea of where she is going unless she jumped on the first bus she saw. It turns out she doesn’t have a plan or much money. He suggests they go back. He asks what good is an adventure if you cannot enjoy it. She tells him to go back then. He tries to tell her she does fit in citing when she pretended to be a be a boy and they were gaming together. That doesn’t have to change. Miranda doesn’t get why he is there with her and not with Nicole or another girl. He tells her he wants to be with her. It turns out that the bus has a problem and a mechanic has been called. They are going to be stopped there for a while.

Martín tells Alicia that he did have something going on with the neighbor but it is over. She has nothing to worry about. It was nothing serious. Alicia isn’t sure about getting involved with Martín at all and now it would affect everyone in her life. It is Eva sarcastically telling her that her daughter ran away from home hours ago. Alicia calls Miranda who doesn't answer. She leaves her a message. Martín says he has a friend that can trace Miranda's phone.

Fedora gets a phone call from Samuel who happens to be in her bedroom at her house waiting for her. He found her spare key in his car. She tells him to leave. He says he brought champagne so they could make up. She says she will call the police. He says she wouldn’t dare. She wouldn’t want to be a “widow” at such a young age.

Rebeca doesn’t know what is going on. Fabián says she has to go see a doctor. Rebeca says she got so bad because she didn’t know who she was, where she was, or where she was going. She feels like her brain is abandoning her. Fabián tries to comfort her.

Gonzo goes to see Fedora and notices she is upset. He guesses it has to do with Samuel. She tells him that Samuel is in her house. Gonzo swears he will take care of him. She begs him to stay away from Samuel. She asks if he doesn’t care that he could end up dead. He says he would do it fo her. She doesn’t want anyone to die. He hates to see her like this. They kiss. Yaya gets an eyeful.

Martín has no luck reaching his phone expert friend and Alicia thinks Miranda must be with one of the gamers. She remembers what Miranda told her and tells Martín that they need to go to the bus station.














 

DEJAN Part 4

Miranda has no plans to wait 2 to to 3 hours for bus repairs. She starts walking. Culebra proclaims the start of their adventure. He tries to talk her out of it since they have no money or anything. She says he can come along and look after her. He hesitates but then follows her.

Carlota and Sofía arrive at Martín’s and he isn’t there. Carlota doesn’t understand how he wouldn’t be there if he knew they were coming. Carlota catches Sofía on her lie. They run into Karina who tells them that Martín was with a real surprising girlfriend the last she knew.

It is night and raining. Culebra and Miranda find a hotel room that goes up from 400 pesos to 600 pesos because they are minors. A smiling Culebra says when he woke up that morning , he never thought he would be in a hotel room along the highway with her.

Martín still hasn’t heard from his phone tracker friend, Alicia has no idea where Miranda is and blames herself.

At the network, Diablo finds out that Martín cannot be there for the broadcast due to an emergency. Sergio finds it a convenient time to call Martín disloyal. Julieta starts Sergio’s show for a change. She talks about female empowerment. During the first commercial break, Sergio gets a call from Eva telling him that Miranda is missing. Alicia went to look for her at a bus station with “a friend”. All Sergio can do is ask “what friend”?

TU AMOR ep 58 part1

Claudio, Horacio, and Hector are at the hospital waiting to see if Ricardo will be OK. Hector says that Claudio was patient with him and Ricardo got what he deserved. You don't fix things with fists, though, Horacio states. That's life, adds Hector. Learning not to get involved where you shouldn't. Life doesn't want Valentina and I to get married, Claudio tells them.

Valentina is at Ricardo's bedside. Patricia tells her she thinks Val won't rest until he is destroyed or dead. Don't be ridiculous, says Val. Your brother interrupted my wedding. He did it for you, Pat replies. It's your fault he went loco. I just rebuilt my life and I told him many times that I don't love him, Val explains. Well, apparently you didn't explain it very well, says Patricia. I imagine when you were his "novia" you thought you could manipulate him. I'm sure you saw yourself as the owner and señora of everything he was going to have. If my brother dies, I swear, I'll make sure you regret it your entire life. Rosa Maria arrives to check on Ricardo. She tells Valentina that she hopes he'll get better but he might never wake up. Get out of here!, Pat tells Val, and take your stupid novio. If Ricardo doesn't wake up I'm going to put him in jail.

Valentina heads for the waiting area to tell everyone what's going on. She tells Claudio about Pat's threat. Let's go then, he says. No, I can't go Claudio. It's my fault that all this happened. So, you're choosing him like always, Claudio says. No, I've always chosen you but I can't abandon him like that. I don't know if he's going to die. You didn't tell me that you went to don Guillermo's house to look for him and that you almost hit him. He told you that and you believe him?, Claudio asks. You feel sorry for that imbecile. You know what? There's no point in continuing to talk. You've made your decision. There's no reason for me to be in this hospital or in your life. Excuse me.

Guillermo gets ready to be discharged from the hospital when Pat comes to his room. She tells him they don't know if Ricardo is going to wake up. And it's all the fault of Valentina and her crazy novio. I'm sorry about his situation, says Guillermo, but it would only occur to Ricardo, to stop a wedding of a woman that doesn't love him. Well, he got what he was looking for. Valentina and Claudio aren't married.

Yolanda and Leonardo are lounging in a hotel room. She tells him, Too bad that Valentina and her novio didn't have the wedding they dreamed about but fairy tales don't exist. I feel sorry for my godson, but with all the women in the world he has to look for the most insignificant one. Remember when I told you that it's possible that Nora might not be Guillermo's daughter?, Leo asks. I was with her before the DNA test and gave her the idea of how to make sure it came out positive. We have to think how to use that in our favor, says Yolanda. I've got better ideas, Leo says, leading her toward the bed.

When Hector and Claudio get home, Horacio asks how everything is going. Claudio doesn't want to talk about it and leaves to be alone. Hector gives Horacio an update on Ricardo and tells him that Val and Claudio had a fight and broke up. Valentina stayed with Ricardo and Claudio got angry. When Consuelo gets home Horacio says that Claudio didn't deserve to have his heart broken like that. Connie agrees but says they have to understand Valentina too. She probably feels guilty for what happened. But Claudio is her novio and we are her family, Horacio fumes. She has shown us mnay ways that she loves us and respects us, counters Consuelo. She betrayed him, Consuelo, says Horacio. She betrayed him. I'll never forgive her.
 

TU AMOR ep 58 part 2

Patricia gets home and wants to change, then go back to be with her brother. She tells Guillermo and Adelaida that if he doesn't recover Claudio and Valentina will be sorry. Especially Valentina. Guillermo says that she's a good girl and Ricardo is the one that tried to stop the wedding. What he did is worthy of a weak person with no standards.

Enrique is having a meeting with a judge named Victor in his office. Just to be clear, Victor states, you want to have the charges of those inmates dropped? I've known you a long time Enrique, and you don't usually ask these favors. There's always a first time. I hope this is enough to cover half, Enrique says, showing the judge a briefcase full of money. You'll get the other half when they're free.

A government agent is reading names off her computer. Rodrigo Morales, José de la Mora, Valentina Fuentes. Those are the ones I have so far, she says. They are cases of tax evasion that have to be processed. The case of Valentina Fuentes is for a large amount. I'm also investigating the origin of the entries into the Fuentes account. It seems to me they're going to give her quite a few years in jail, the agent says.

When Ricardo wakes up, Rosa Maria asks him if he remembers what happened. Yes, he says. Valentina was getting married and I didn't permit it. What happened was worth it, he says, not to lose the woman I love. Rosa Maria lets Valentina know that Ricardo woke up. She can see him but only for a moment. Nora receives a text from Leonardo. "We have to meet. I'll see you in half an hour. Don't be late."

Consuelo tells Horacio, Buenos días, when she sees him the next day. How is it a good day?, he asks. Valentina didn't come home to sleep last night. That means Ricardo is more important to her than my Claudio. Connie says she doesn't want to fight with him again. Hector found out that Ricardo called Valentina and threatened to do something if they got married. He got what he deserved, says Horacio. Valentina should understand that and walk away from him. One shouldn't wish evil on another, Connie tells him. Oh, Saint Consuelo, right?, he responds. Connie excuses herself and walks away.

What are you doing here?, Patricia asks Valentina when she comes to Ricardo's room. I told you not to go near him. Val tells her to stop with the threats. She's there for Ricardo and she's not leaving. Ricardo asks to be alone with Valentina. Here we are together, he says. Yes, Val replies, because you interrupted my wedding. You shouldn't do something like that. Haven't you done it to me?, he asks. Haven't you hurt me? How much time did it take you to forget me? How much? Claudio and I are separated, Val tells him. That means I'm still important to you, Ricardo answers. Valentina, I could die at any moment. I'm afraid. Don't leave me.
 

TU AMOR ep 58 part 3

Nora meets Leonardo at a rooftop restaurant. She says she hopes it doesn't take too long because she needs to rest. That's not my fault, he says. I need to clear up some things with you. Don't think we're going to stop being partners. Remember the DNA test to prove that you're Guillermo's poor lost daughter? Let's say you're not his daughter. I'm not an expert in DNA analysis but I'm an expert in lying, climbing people. You're going to take your rudeness down two levels because with a couple of calls this theater is over. Do what you want, Nora says defiantly. You don't have proof. But I have many ways to convince Guillermo to ask for another test., he says. Your odds of being his daughter are 50-50. Do you want to bet? So let's toast our friendship. I want you to stop treating me like your servant. If it wasn't for me you'd be at a market selling corn. We're going to go to a place a little more private. For what?, she asks. To play house. Do I really have to explain?

When Valentina comes to work Helena takes her to her office. She tells her that she can't keep falling into Ricardo's traps. He threatened you not to get married right? And you complied. I have respect for Ricardo but I'm afraid of his reactions. Be very careful. Val says that Ricardo is sick and might die. She can't let someone die through her fault. It hurts her that she and Claudio are separated because she is in love with him.

Hector and Luna are at the taxi stand playing a game involving pencil and paper. . Hector tells her that Ricardo got what he deserved. Luna flirts with him and even puts her foot in his lap. Watch the heels, he says. I want to have kids. He gets a text from an unknown number. It's a picture of the altercation he had when he and Patricia were at the bar. The message says "We only want you to know that sooner or later it will end badly for you. You shouldn't have gotten involved." It was sent by Patricia who tells herself that sooner or later Hector is going to belong to her. He'll find out what true love is.

Brochas and his father are being released from jail. Cibernético welcomes his brother and his father to their freedom. His dad says they have to prepare their vengence against Horacio.

We're going to have more work meetings like this, Leo tells Nora while kissing her neck in some seedy hotel room. Don't get used to it, she says. Don't think that I'll come each time you snap your fingers. She gets a call from Guillermo and tells him she's at the university he told her about to get information. She says she'll see him at work. Better hurry, Leo says, so you don't get scolded. You graduated from class. Not bad.

Hector surprises Helena while she is working on a dress. She jumps because he comes up behind her. He sees that something is bothering her and asks what it is. She was thinking about what happened to Valentina and Claudio and was worried that it could happen to them. He assures her that he'll never leave her and holds her close. There is something that...that I haven't told you and that you have to know., Helena says. Hector steps back in surprise and concern.

Patricia comes to Yolanda's office complaining about Nora. She says that she's a nightmare and has to be controlled. I have some news that you're going to love, Yolanda tells her. What would you say if you found out that Nora isn't Guillermo's daughter?


 

TU AMOR ep 58 part 4

Valentina tries to reason with Claudio again later in his office. What are you going to say?, he asks. That Ricardo called to tell you that I threatened him? And that you believed it? It's only important that he's suffering, that he's sick. He's made you doubt me. Love is unconditional Valentina, and you have that with him but not with me. Ricardo is never going to stop being a weight on your heart. You feel so guilty that whatever you do you aren't going to be able to forget him. Don't go please, she cries...Claudio!
 

TU Amor. Excellent recap as usual, JoelD! Oh dear! It's now too late for Ricardo to get Val's signature to withdraw his embezzled funds from the bank. She's already in legal trouble--though she doesn't know it. Claudio is acting like an idiot again. Sigh. Helena is right. Ricardo got exactly what he wanted. It's hard to tell if he really still loves Val or just thinks she can solve his financial and legal problems (which now she can't). Again, Val blames herself unnecessarily. As usual, she gets into trouble for being too good. Guillermo is surprisingly sensible about the entire Ricardo situation. Oh oh! The 2 convicts Enrique helps free are the ones after Hector and Horacio. What a coincidence! I wonder what secret Helena is concealing. Something to do with her mother. And next time will we find out who Ricardo's real father is? Adelaida keeps hinting.

Once again you "just the facts" is wonderful, Jarifa! Succinct yet comprehensive is just perfect, thank you! ...what typos??? LOL

My favorite scenes were the ones with Miranda and Culebra; Culebra is being back to being a sweetheart! I just hope he doesn't revert to the other Culebra we have seen. I'm sure Miranda's coldness is due in part to her mistrust after he was such a louse.

So Samuel did get a key to Fedora's house! She should have followed through with her threat to call the police.


Yikes! Gonzo and Fedora caught kissin' in the bedroom by Yaya! We knew that was coming!

Rebeca sure is going downhill fast!! This storyline is just heartbreaking to see; and being that this is not even halfway through, I hate to imagine what else is coming.

Alicia pulling back was of no surprise. Martin is irresistible but he is pushing too much too soon. I didn't blame her at all for questioning Martin about Karina. She's been burned once and I'm sure she'll be gunshy for quite a while.

I wish I was fast enough with the mute button when Eva comes on; can't stand to listen to her BS!

Thanks, RgvChick. It was just one of those recapping nights when nothing was going right.

Good call on Miranda being wary of Culebra. He was a real louse. Guess he could be called either Culebra or Piojo depending on his actions in the future. 😊 I always like plots that force the actors out of the studio. I hope we have those two actually out and about on the road somewhere.

I am quickly tiring of Fedora and her wishy washy approach to cutting things off with Gonzo as well as protecting herself from Samuel. She should have had him arrested right at her house.

Sancar and Gediz arrive at Nare’s house at the same time. Uh, oh…

Meanwhile Sahra continues the truth serum interrogation. She sets up her phone to record. She starts, Sancar fell from the cliff in order to save you that day, right? Nare says it's true. He jumped. Akin was going to throw me over the cliff….then Sancar ...
Sahra says, they say that ... Sancar threw Akin over the cliff. Is that true? Nare confirms.

The ex-partners stare each other down outside the house.

Sahra asks, what did you do with the body, Nare? Where did you bury him? Nare looks at Sahra but doesn’t answer.

Halise puts ice on Yahya’s bruises, she ouches him. Watch out, mother! My brother hurt me enough already. Halise says this is nothing. Thank goodness Elvan doesn't know you cheated on her, or else you'd be dead. Yahya replies, even if Elvan knew, what could be worse? She is asking me for a divorce!

Halise says that won’t happen because we are going to convince her not to separate from you. Yahya reminds his mother there is very little time left before the trial. What should I do, he asks? Halise doesn't know. All she knows is they are not going to get divorced, Elvan must return to the house. She warns Yahya, if you separate from Elvan and you bring Dudu here, I won’t approve or give you my blessing (no helal olsun). She leaves. Yahya grunts, how easy it is to say.

Melek is reenacting Sancar’s marriage proposal for Gulsiye, Ayse and Feride. Feride isn’t so pleased. She says, how about that, he convinced the girl immediately. Melek says it was not immediately, not at all. Many years have passed, and my parents are just getting married. Feride pins the blame solely on Sancar. It was your father's fault, she tells Melek, he did things the other way around. First he had a child, and then he wants to get married.

Halise has been watching. She says, poor my son, someone save him. Feride asks, what are you mumbling about? Say it out loud to my face. Halise says it’s nothing. Feride reminds Halise that she’s in charge now. Feride digs, when did you become high society? Halise replies, why do you consider me high society?

Feride says, just look at your behavior. Your son even knelt down in front of her to ask her to marry him. When did you go to the parents to ask for their daughter's hand? And tell me where is the trousseau? Halise laughs oh ... do you want us to go to ask for her hand at her house? Feride says, yes, that's right. Would that matter? Halise thinks it's a great idea. We will go there, she says, the whole family will accompany us. Gulsiye asks, and Yahya would go too? With Elvan there…Halise interrupts, I said all the family, Gulsiye, the whole family.

Sahra’s still looking for answers, what did you do with the body, Nare? Where is it? Nare is resisting. Sahra asks again, what did you do with Akin's body? You hid it, right? Nare gasps and cries.

Outside Nare’s house, Sancar strikes first. And the fight is on!

Sahra wipes a tear from Nare’s face. She tells her, it is common for patients who have been anesthetized to react like this. They cry over the burdens they unconsciously keep. Talk to me, it will heal you. Where did you leave the body?

Elvan wakes up and makes a call for an ambulance.

Sahra encourages Nare to talk. Tell me what they did. Nare says… he has a baby.

Sancar head butts Gediz and pins him to the hood of his car. He starts to strangle him. I'm going to kill you, Sancar growls, I swear I'll kill you… I am going to kill you.

Sahra asks, who has a baby? What are you talking about, Nare? Nare replies, Sancar has a baby. Sahra sighs; she’s getting nowhere. She tries to redirect Nare, I'm not asking about Sancar's baby. I want to know where you buried Akin's body. Nare sighs and continues to cry.

Embajador S2 #36 part 2

Sahra tries another angle. Listen, it's fine. I know it hurts that Menekse is pregnant ... but doesn’t it hurt more that Sancar is a murderer? You don't want it to be known ... and that is why you have buried Akin's body, to keep Sancar from going to prison. Am I wrong?

Nare answers, Akin and Menekse were the real killers. She sighs, Menekese would murder Melek. She's a killer ... just pregnant.

Meanie and her mom have gone to see a sorcerer. He gives her something to put on Nare’s door and gives her something to sew into one of Sancar’s garments. She wonders how she will do that since they are not living together. The sorcerer tells her many other divorced women are able to do it. Do you want the father of your child to be by your side or not? Meanie says, yes, but ...Atike tells her to be quiet, it’s bad luck. And besides, you couldn't stop crying when you found out he was getting married.

The sorcerer gives her something else. She should put it in water and make Sancar drink it. He will leave the woman he's with and come straight to you. Meanie gives the guy a couple of gold coins. I think he was hoping for a little more.

Sancar is really throttling Gediz. He’s shouting, I’ll kill you. Do you want me to do it? Should I do it? I already killed someone, and I wouldn’t have trouble doing it again. I am going to kill you! Gediz is gasping, forgive me, forgive me…forgive me…. Sancar lets go.

Gediz grabs Sancar’s bad leg and gains the upper hand. Gediz yells at Sancar, idiot! Don't forgive me! I'll give you a notebook, you can write that you should never forgive Gediz! You must not forgive Gediz! Sancar manages to push Gediz off and starts to strangle him again. Sancar swears he will kill Gediz. The only thing that saves Gediz is the sound of sirens and the ambulances arriving at the house.

Sancar asks, what happened? An EMT says, three cases of poisoning were reported. Both Sancar and Gediz shout at the same time, Nare! And Sancar breaks open the door. They see Elvan out on the patio. Sancar asks her, what happened? Elvan answers, they are in the house. Sancar rushes in. Gediz hears the EMT ask Elvan who gave you the IV. Elvan answers, Sahra is a doctor. Gediz thinks, oh, no….

Sancar is scared to find Nare unconscious, he rushes to her side. Gediz is standing in the doorway watching. Sahra says there’s no problem with Nare, she’s just weak. She introduces herself to the EMTs as Dr. Sahra Yalcin and says it is apparently food poisoning. She started the IVs The EMT says that was the best thing to do. Sahra also says she put the sedative in Nare’s IV. Gediz doesn’t like hearing that. Remember he told Sahra not to harm Nare or Melek.

Sancar thanks Sahra for taking care of Nare. Sahra looks at Gediz and asks Sancar, who is this man? What is he doing here? Sahra gives a little wink to Gediz and Sancar gives Gediz the death stare.

Next we see Sancar pushing Gediz out the front gate. He threatens Gediz, if you get close to Nare again, I will kill you. This time I will. Gediz drives off.

Kman is still camped out at Meanie’s. He gets a report. Sancar just threw Gediz out of Nare’s house and ambulances were there because someone had food poisoning. Kman says to let him know if they see the Dr. leaving.

Ceylan calls Sahra. Sahra remembers they were supposed to do an ultrasound today. She apologizes to Ceylan. She tells her she will meet her there in a half hour. Ceylan is panicking. She’s calling because she can’t leave the house. Kman is outside. He asked me why I was at Menekse’s house, she says, and what did I have to do with Dr. Sahra. He asked what we were up to, and he noticed I gained weight.

Sahra warns Ceylan to be very careful. Please tell me he didn't see you're pregnant. Ceylan is upset, she can’t be sure. She tells Sahra she panicked when she saw him, and she threatened to call the police if he entered the house. Now he’s outside watching, Ceylan says, I can’t go out. I’m alone and scared. Sahra tells her to calm down, don’t panic, I'm going to tell you what to do. Ceylan listens but we don’t hear.

Sancar asks Elvan, are you feeling better now? She nods. He tells her when Nare wakes up, I'll take you to the hospital for a check and then we will return to the mansion. We will take care of you there. Elvan says, I'm never going back to the house, ever. Sancar tells her, it’s only for today, you will not see Yahya. I'll tell Gulsiye to take care of you. Sahra is listening in. Elvan replies, we will go to the hospital if you think it’s necessary, but not to the mansion.

Sahra comes over and says the hospital is not necessary. She’s already feeling fine and can go to work. The others just need rest. Sancar questions Sahra, but the doctor said it is important that they do the check. Sahra answers, it was only mild case, no need to go to the hospital. She adds, I don't think you should bother Nare with something like that now. I can tell she's not right. She has some psychological problems.

Sancar is alarmed, why do you say that? What psychological problems? Elvan asks, too. After a slight hesitation Sahra says, Nare spoke while asleep, she said you were going to have a baby. Menekse is pregnant, she said you were going to be a dad. She cried a lot while saying it. Sahra adds, she shows her engagement ring and pretends to be very happy, but a woman who is about to get married doesn't say that kind of thing. Elvan shakes her head. Sancar is stunned. Sahra suggests seeing a psychologist. It seems there is some trauma. Elvan tells Sancar, we don't have to go to the hospital, better go in and talk to Nare. Sancar gets up and goes inside.

Sancar sits next to sleeping Nare on the bed. He touches her hair and says, my love, haven't you forgiven me yet? Nare wakes up and asks, what happened? Sancar smiles at her, whatever you ate gave you food poisoning. Elvan and Sahra, too. Nare tries to get up, how are they? Sancar pulls her back down, saying, they are fine.

He tells her, when I saw you like this I got very scared, I didn't know what to do. Nare laughs and Sancar asks for a hug. They snuggle in the bed. She notices he’s grabbing his leg and sees the bruise on his hand. Did you hurt your leg? What happened to your hand? Did you fight, Sancar? She’s ticked, who did you fight this time? Sancar says, it was a very difficult morning, first I had a fight with Yahya and then with Gediz outside.

Nare asks, that's why your leg is hurting, did you hurt yourself fighting? Sancar replies, Gediz knows how to hurt me. Then he adds with a smile, but you should have seen him, Nare.

Sahra gets a text from Gediz: “doctor, get out of there, I need you to come now. If you don't arrive in 10 minutes, I'll come for you.” Sahra tells Elvan it’s from the hospital. She will check on Nare first and then leave. Sahra goes upstairs and watches Nare and Sancar from the doorway for a few seconds then leaves without saying a word.

With some hesitation, Sancar asks Nare, are you happy? What do you mean, she asks? Well, I’m not very happy about the food poisoning…. Sancar says, no, no, I mean in general because we are going to get married and will have a new life with our daughter. Nare replies, I know, and it makes me very happy. Really, he asks? Yes, that's right, she responds. How happy, he asks? She sits up and says, what’s wrong, do you want me to say I'm not happy?

No, Sancar says, I just want you to tell me if something doesn't make you happy. Well, Nare says there is something. Sancar braces himself. Nare says, you're not doing anything, you quit your job, and honestly, I don't like that. What? Sancar did not expect that. Nare tells him, we want to be a normal couple. Sancar replies, you know I don't have a job, I left it to Zehra.

Nare says okay, maybe you don't have a job with the company, but I think that Zehra feels very lonely, and she needs your support. Besides, you know the pressure she gets from Gediz. Sancar says, is that what worries you? That’s right, she tells him, I want us to go back to normal soon, get a job.

Sancar says, then let's do it and we will just close the door to the abnormal things? Do you think I’m doing that, she asks? You tell me, he says, you cried when you were asleep, that's why I'm asking. You have lived through very difficult things, you don't have to pretend nothing is wrong.

Nare says he is the same way. Your leg has been hurting for days, she tells him, and now Gediz made it worse. You pretend nothing happened, you're not even going to see a doctor. Sancar proposes a deal, I'll see a doctor and you see a psychologist.

Nare sighs, I don't need to go to therapy just because I cried. [raise your hand if you think she needs it.] I’m fine, I’m happy, everything is in order, she says. But you must go to a doctor. She pushes him off the bed, you have to recover and then you will go see Zehra, please. And bring my daughter this afternoon, I miss her a lot. Sancar says she will make him go crazy. She says she will take that as a compliment. And she sends him off. As soon as he leaves, she changes her clothes.

Elvan catches Sancar on his way out, did you talk to Nare? Sancar grumbles, she is fine, excellent, she has no worries about anything. Elvan runs into Nare as she’s hurrying out. Nare tells her she needs to talk to Gediz. Elvan starts to say she will go with her, but Nare is already out the gate.

Kman gets an update. The Dr. is on her way to see Gediz. Kman greets Meanie as she arrives home. I see that your baby has grown, although you are still very thin. Even Ceylan has gained more weight than you. Uh, oh, Meanie gets nervous, you saw Ceylan? Yes, I came to ask her what she is doing here, just like the doctor. When I asked, she went running from me.

Meanie babbles, uh is that I ... Kman wastes no time, Menekse, what is Ceylan doing here? What are you hiding? Ceylan comes out of the house with her phone, hello? Is this the police? There is a man here at the door, he is harassing me. Ceylan threatens Kman, if you don’t leave, I promise I won’t hang up the phone. The police will find out about everything. Kman leaves. Ceylan tells Meanie, my appointment with the doctor is today, maybe she will tell us if it's a boy or a girl.

Sahra shows up at Gediz’ special place. I had an appointment scheduled with Ceylan, she says, but here I am. Is everything alright? Gediz tells her, do you think you can get rid of me so easy? Gediz asks, was it easy? I guess you figured it out. Sahra snarks, if I already knew, do you think I would waste my time with a child who is fighting with his friend over a toy? Gediz asks, are you telling me that I am a child who fights over a toy? That's right, she tells him, Sancar hit you and has offended you, and you came to complain like a child whose things were taken from him. My Nare, my Nare. She touches the bruise on his face and they look into each other’s evil eyes.

Nare is on her way to find Gediz.

Gediz says, I have not complained about Nare to you. You are the one who was watching her with Sancar, as if you were going to kill her. Sahra says to give it a rest, she’s not going to do anything to Nare. She thinks maybe she could get Feride to speak. I'll give her the same drug as Nare.

Gediz says no, she’s older and you could hurt her. Stop giving that stuff to people. Sahra calls him boring. Ok then, she says, let's keep looking for the body while they get married. They will spend their lives together, while we search for the grave of—Gediz interrupts her, they are not getting married. You sure about that, Sahra asks?

Sancar is not going to get married without the mansion, Gediz tells her, we can't wait until we find the grave, so I had to speed up my plan. Sancar will soon be the son of a peasant again.

Sancar calls Muge. Where are you? She’s at the marina. He needs to talk to her but Gediz’s men are following him. He says, once I lose them, I will send you my location. Muge asks, do you want a spy? Sancar answers, no, I want a psychologist.

Gediz tells Sahra a house is ready for her, and he’s paid the rent. She can move in today. Sahra thanks him but says she’s fine at Menekse’s. Gediz tells her it’s too dangerous.

A car shows up in the distance. Gediz thinks it Kman’s men. He wonders if they are following him or Sahra. Sahra thinks it’s her because Kman was at Menekse's house today. He knows Ceylan is living there. Gediz can’t believe it. He says Sahra is being stupid and naïve.

Sahra warns him to be careful with how he talks to her. Gediz is really pissed. If Kman knows you are with Menekse, then Sancar will also find out. Don’t you understand? You must leave there immediately!

Sahra says she can’t. Gediz insists. Sahra pushes back again. Gediz wants to know why she won’t leave Menekse’s. Sahra tells him she’s afraid to live alone. What? You’re an adult, what are you talking about?

Nare arrives at Gediz special place and sees Gediz and Sahra together.

Sahra explains, because I wasn’t an adult when I was home alone with my mother, while she bled out. I was eight years old.

Sahra notices Nare getting out of her car. Uh, oh…

And we are out.

I can't figure out what Leonardo is paid to do all day. He's not even in the office very much. After this episode I think he should get some counseling for sex addiction. I still don't think he's ever come up with the security tape from the customs office but no one is asking for it anymore. I can't even guess who Ricardo's father is SpanProf. There aren't very many characters the right age. I agree that Claudio is acting like an idiot but his two degrees in law and accounting are going to come in handy when Valentina gets thrown in the slammer.

My money is on Guillermo as a candidate to be Ricardo's father, but it could be someone we haven't met yet. I doubt if it is Horacio, but you never know. If it is Guillermo, and Val is really his daughter, not Nora, then that would certainly be a way to get Ricardo to stop harassing Val romantically. Maybe the prison Leo ends up in will have sex addiction counseling. :)

Odd how everyone ignored the "poisoning" and didn't bother to have the food checked or ask who may have done the poisoning.

It seems that the writers decided to finally finish off hateful Akin , but then they fe!t they had to replace him by turning Gediz evil . Nare is proving to be a fatal attraction for men ...and San's is to endlessly fight other men for her. Yikes.

When pressed, drugged Nare brings up Meanie’s baby as the thing that upsets her the most. Not good.

If you look back at how Nare has acted throughout this series, I think it’s obvious she’s never received the professional help she needs.

I thought it was interesting that Sancar let go of Gediz when he begged for forgiveness.

I have to laugh at Sancar asking Muge for professional advice. is she the only psychologist in town?

Susanlynn, the real drinking game is everytime Nare sheds a tear. We’d be plastered every night.

Regarding “Últimas Semanas”: We are currently on Turkish episode 29 out of 52. It seems Uni is cutting this way short of the dizi ending. Then I am 99.9% sure on exactly where it will end. I wonder if Uni will bring it back at some point to finish the remaining episodes. I hope so.

I think that Nare talked about the baby when she was drugged because that fact really bothers her..that San is going to have a baby with about her woman ( no, he isnt, hateful Meanie lost that baby, but Nare and San don't know that). I hope the truth comes out soon because I cannot stand Meanie continuing to weave this tangled web to keep San tied to her. Ugh

I have no idea where the writers are taking this story .I am wondering if former good guy Gediz will sacrifice himself saving Nare or Melek and be redeemed at the end .

Watching all the strife and suffering makes one want a happy ending for Nafe, San, and Melek , but as in real life, endings aren't usually happy even though if you are lucky , you have a happy middle , as our Judyb liked to remind us.

Rgv Chick, I loved your titles, particularly “Delusions, Allusions, and Illusions…What a Mess!” Excellent!

“After Cholo apologize to Yuri for the kiss, Yuri assures him that she would die of sadness if he is truly sorry” made me smile Rgv Chick. He and Yuri are captivating and watching their sweet (yet totally improbable) romance is lovely to watch.

And then to “SerJerk is groveling at his best”. He’s mastered the art hasn’t he Rgv Chick? Indefensible and indigestible. ☹

“Culebra unmercifully tells her that she is like all girls…a liar”. Rgv Chick, the fact Culebra didn’t come forward when Nicole was bullying her (further) made him almost irredeemable in my eyes. I can’t imagine that he will be able to atone for his actions or even more, inaction.

“The fight is on, and it is one of the best fights I have seen in telenovela land”. Jarifa, that was so true! I didn’t feel as though I was watching a show but felt SO uncomfortable as though I was actually there, witnessing the rage, indignation and total melt down of something irretrievable dead. The total implosion of a marriage.

“As Sergio goes to pick up his garbage bag, Eva offers to walk him out” made me smile Jarifa. Incessantly boasting of all HIS wealth, he is relegated to leaving not with fine leather luggage in tow but a trash bag. Fitting justice.

“Karina is not giving up on him. She loves him”. Jarifa, I was surprised at how mean (bordering on contemptuous) Karina was toward Alicia. She is obviously heartbroken at Martin’s classifying them as friends. They have vastly different perspectives on what their actual relationship was, she assumed more and he – less.

I’ve felt all along Moises was cheating on Yuri and he seemed defensive in his initial response when she broke up with him. And as he now plans to have Cholo convicted, we knew our feelings of something being off was on target. “After Moises begs and grovels, Yuri tells him that they were probably not made for each other…things were going too fast”. Yes, because of course 10 years is not enough time! 😊

A few observations: Gonzalo is functioning minimally at his new job. Samuel is a methodic, robotic killing machine and Gonzalo was lucky to survive the assault. Fedora must continue to make herself scarce or she will not live either. Fedora and Eva are my favorite non couple. My heart goes out to Rebecca.

When the casino staff addresses you by name, it’s safe to say that you are a permanent fixture.

Interesting that Quique was smart enough to grab the tell-tale pink hat when he took the computer and jewelry.

Why would Facundo ever tell Mujica that something about Cholo’s incarceration isn’t right. I thought he and Karina were working behind the scenes or was this part of the plan?

I’m liking Marilyn/Alicia’s performance more with each passing episode. Looks like the romance is well on its’ way.

Hi AMOT, don’t confuse the number of original Turkish episodes with the number that might be showing here or in other countries. As I said in my previous post, there are 52 Turkish eps total and we are now in the middle of Turkish #29. Each Turkish ep with editing is equal to approx. 2.5 -3 Uni eps. I'm almost sure they will end it on Turkish ep 36. With soccer preemptions that could be another 5 weeks or so. I hope Uni will bring it back to finish the last 16 episodes.

According to this article, UniMas will air a couple of Turkish dizi in the upcoming season. I think Rgv Chick mentioned these in her updates:

Summer is the time for Turkish romcoms! I’m following a couple of them now, Ada Masalı/Island Tale. The eps are being posted weekly on YouTube with English subs. Same with Cam Tavanlar/Love Reserved (really translates to Glass Ceilings).

Calling all Can Yaman romcom fans: YouTube now has English subtitled eps of Dolunay/Full Moon. I enjoyed that one very much.

And if you have Netflix, Kara Para Aşk/Black Money Love is one of my all-time faves. Engin Akyürek and Tuba Büyüküstün are wonderful together.

Sofia will be another story. She's obviously younger than Miranda and she is acting like a child. Imagine demanding that your mother never fall in love with another man again?

Moises has crossed over to the dark side. Not too unexpected, considering the situation. Once again I hope the actor playing Cholo doesn't actually have those tats.

Miranda will be the right girl for Culebra once he grows up,. As cute as Benito is, though, my definition of mascota is a creature with fur.

Fedora is a fool. Her dalliance with Samuel could end tragically. She could end up hospitalized or dead.

Rebecca is now looking like an Alzheimer's case so this could lead to Alicia losing both of her best friends at once. Of course, SerJerk will be the same gaslighting asshole he is and Eva will take his side because she cares more about her gambling than her daughter's and granddaughters' mental health.

As to any other backstories we know nothing of SerJerk's other than his statement that his father was a successful doctor. Considering how many lies has told so far, should we believe him?

Eva has said little or nothing about her husband. If she was even half the nag she is now I could not fault him if he cheated on her.

I want to see the stolen stuff resolved ASAP. Quique needs to be consequenced.

Along with Lucas, but I suspect that will take a while. No way will this end without Alicia and her children finding out about him. He is a nasty piece of work but I'd rather see him humliate than dead.

We know that police corruption is a major issue in Mexico and one that Tns have tackled beore. What bothers me is why nothing ever getss own about it, anywhere in the world.

Guillermo continues to be a heartless, dour, disappointing patriarch. His rejection of Helena was hard to comprehend. “You stopped being my daughter a long time ago. My only children are Alfonso and Nora”. His cruelty is astounding. When I read “the sea is old and it still moves” I felt nausea and revulsion.

Although Helena’s world is crumbling, she continues to be a kind, stalwart and sympathetic friend. She has been a rock for Camila, Majo and Valentina. As the tsunami of despair heightens and threatens, she continues to think only of others.

“Guillermo wants to get Nora more involved in the business. Do you want me to sign a bunch of checks?, she asks” made me smile. Nora is full of her own self importance and naturally assumes she is entitled to sign checks less than a week into (falsely) becoming part of Guillermo’s dynasty!

I smiled gleefully though at her telling Patricia ‘Hector rejected you again, Nora laughs. How ugly it must feel to have a simple cab driver keep rejecting you”. If Nora is proven to not be Guillermo’s daughter (seeming imminent now), I will miss these sweet little endearing murmurings 😊

Yolanda’s plans appear more insidious with every passing day. She will tolerate nothing but total decimation of Consuelo’s life. Whatever sewer she ends up in, I hope Leo who is helping her destroy his own family is right there with her. As you so smartly noted Span Prof “It's unconscionable the way Leo is colluding in the persecution of his sister. Collateral damage indeed!”. We can now add attempted murder to his list of atrocities for what he tried to do to Majo.

“Luna…says that she'd sacrifice their friendship 1000 times for one day with him as his woman”. Ah Ha! We guessed it, didn’t we? She does love Hector! Well at least he knows she does and she knows he doesn’t.

“Is Camila' conversation with Mother Aurora foreshadowing that she and Ricardo will end up together?” SpanProf, I’ve wondered the same thing. With the law now closing in however, I don’t see how he will extricate himself unless he manages to put the full blame on Valentina which is entirely possible.

I found Horacio’s self righteous condemnation of Claudio and Valentina (engaged adults) daring to sleep in the same bed puzzling. And” Oh, Saint Consuelo” was downright insulting. I’d be angrier but Horacio better start focusing on self preservation now that the thugs have been sprung.

Helena and Hector seem to be somehow maintaining their relationship. I hope they are able to fight to be together. He needs to stop being Patty’s errand boy.

Thanks Jarifa! I did notice a bit of attitude from Karina when she met Carlota but think she realized Carlota was "there" first. I think she could have handled it if Martin went back to Carlota, but will not accept a "new" woman in the picture after she thought she had Martin had more (than he obviously thought he did!)

TU AMOR. Diana: I think our one possible area of disagreement is that I think Guillermo may be redeemable while you don't seem to. At least he showed common sense about Ricardo's disruption of Claudio's and Val's wedding.

SpanProf, one of the many reasons I love Caray, Caray is that we have differing perspectives, sometimes not all in sync, but interesting and thought provoking.

I am sure that Guillermo and Helena will reconcile before the end but my low opinion of him will likely not change. His shunning Helena was bad enough but to rebuff her when she tried to reconcile was almost impossible to watch. You are totally right in that his reaction to Ricardo's trying to stop the wedding made sense. I hope his rigidity relaxes with time.
