ECDLP #75

- Ricardo tells the detective he will consider filing a police report.
- The detective tells Daniela that Milagros went to the police station the previous night looking for her. He tells her not to get him or the police department involved in her lies to her “mother in law”.
- Milagros tells Marcelo about Daniela lying to her.
- Daniela wants to know why Ric lied to her about who assaulted him. He claims he was protecting her. He wants an explanation about how Daniela supposedly has a mother in law
- Magdalena goes to the factory to personally give Alonso the invitation to her wedding. She tells him she doesn’t want Rebeca there.
- Alonso tells Magdalena that he’s seeking to divorce Rebeca.
- Nora asks Rebeca if she knew that Marcelo’s brother committed suicide because of a woman.
- Rebeca and Lucia look through Nora’s bedroom for the gun. They don’t find it
- Leti asks Mario’s secretary for Ricardo’s address/phone number. Mario tells his secretary to comply.
- Nora tells Roman about Marcelo’s brother killing himself. Roman notes that Nora has attempted suicide before.
- The detectives are skeptical about Amador’s alibi concerning Ligia’s death.
- Lucia thinks it’ll be a good idea to ask Roman to try and get Nora to tell him where she hid the gun. Marcelo is jealous of Roman.
- Daniela refuses to tell Milagros where she was the night before. She suggests that Milagros find somewhere else to live.
- The detective tells Rebeca that Ric is about to formally accuse her of attempting to kill him. Nora wants to know who the man is who is accusing Rebeca of the crime. Rebeca tells her who Ric is.
- Rebeca denies getting involved with Ric and making him leave Magdalena at the altar. She tells Nora that Ric is Leti’s father.
- Leti calls Ric but refuses to see him in person. Sergio wants to know why she’s acting strange towards him. She almost tells him that she has feelings for him but doesn’t.
- Lucia calls Roman wanting to talk to him. They agree to meet at a café later that evening.
- Sara tells Alonso that it’ll take time to go through the hospital admittance records. He’s hopeful to soon start over with her after divorcing Rebeca.
- Marcelo and Nazario talk about what Alonso knows and doesn’t know concerning Rebeca.
- Daniela tells Ric that she knows Rebeca.
- Mario draws up the divorce papers for Alonso. Alonso knows Rebeca likely won’t agree to sign them.
- Sara asks Lucia to convince Alonso to see a cardiologist.
- Lucia meets up with Roman.
- Brigida wants to know if it’s really true that Alonso is ending his partnership with Amador. He thinks they’ll have to sell their house.
- Lucia tells Roman that it’s urgent that they need to find the gun. She tells him that Nora said that he (R) likes her (L). Roman says it’s true. Marcelo walks up almost to the table at the moment.

Both Lucia and Rebecca know that Nora is dangerous. At least Rebecca seems to have given up any illusions about this.

The others are getting closer to the truth but it is high time that Marcelo start to trust Lucia. At least he knows what his mother is all about.
 

ECDLP #76

- Marcelo approaches the table and acts as cordial as he can. Lucia doesn’t want to take up anymore of Roman’s time so they leave.
- Marcelo hopes Roman can help them. Lucia says she’s worried about her dad.
- Nora tells Alonso that she knows about Ricardo Marquez. She says apparently Ric tried to assault Rebeca.
- Nora wants to know why Alonso wants to divorce Rebeca. He offers that Nora live with him when he leaves the house.
- Magdalena and Mario go over last minute details for the wedding. Mags wishes that her parents, Adriana and Trini were alive to be there with her
- Alonso presents Rebeca with the divorce papers. She rips them up.
- Al concludes she must’ve been happy about Adriana’s death. He’s about to say that he suspects maybe Rebeca is responsible when Reb interrupts him, vehemently denying it
- Alonso wonders if Rebeca truly doesn’t have anything on her conscience that she feels shame over. He tells her that the divorce papers were only a copy and that she’ll soon be getting the summons.
- Rafaela tells Marcelo that Milagros is moving back into his apartment. He asks Milagros what happened between her and Daniela.
- Alonso refuses to go see the cardiologist until the following Monday.
- Brigida tells Rodrigo about what Amador is going through but Rodrigo doesn’t want anything to do with his dad. He tells her to be careful of Nora.
- Lucia warns Nora that she’ll tell Alonso that she (N) has Marcelo’s gun. Nora is unfazed.
- Al is happy that Lucia is marrying Marcelo. He tells him that Milagros went to see him and told him about Federico. He says that Milly asked Lucia in front of him to tell her the name of the woman who killed Federico.
- Marcelo says that a woman caused Federico to commit suicide. He says that he sought revenge but everything changed when he met Lucia. Alonso wants to know who the woman is.
- Alonso gets a long distance business phone call but Marcelo says they’ll finish the conversation later.
- Nora visits Magdalena and asks her if it’s true that Rebeca was the reason why Ric left her at the altar. Nora is sure that her mom is not who everyone claims she is.
- Lucia runs into Nora outside Nazario's house. Mags tells her that Nora knows what happened between Rebeca and Ricardo.
- Lucia tells Magdalena that Nora stole Marcelo’s gun.
- Amador laments that he lost everything and says he wants to die.
- Rebeca tells Nora that Magdalena didn’t invite her to her wedding.
- Milagros discovers Daniela and Ricardo together in Daniela’s apartment.
- Nora formally meets Ricardo. She wants to talk to him about her mom. Ricardo tells her that Rebeca seduced him. He shows her a picture of a young Rebeca with the dedication she wrote on the back for him.
