Epi 33 part 1

If the US is the gun capital of the world, the town of Midyat must be a close second as we start yet another episode with guns drawn. Miran and his men with gun drawn burst into a meeting with Nasuh and his henchmen who are being berated for not being able to do away with Reyan. In response to Miran’s intrusion, Nasuh and him men draw their guns but we have another standoff, no guns fired. Just Miran firing a warning to Nasuh that he’s aware of his plot to kill Reyan and he needs to call it off. He tells Nasuh to not only call off the hit on her life but not to bully her in her own on home. (Glad to hear this because I’m tired of seeing Reyan being slapped around). Miran goes on to say that if Reyan is harmed, he’ll not only make Nasuh’s favorite son pay but he’ll also reveal Nasuh’s sinister plan. Nasuh manages to spew a few threats but he’ left helpless as Miran and his crew leave. Before departing, Miran tells Nasuh to let Azat know to watch his back because he’s coming for him.

Elsewhere, BG (bad granny) and he hunky body guard are in some obscure location. She opens the door to what appears to be an abandoned home with a few pictures on the wall. She surveys the place and takes one of the pictures off the wall. It’s a photo of an adult woman and 4 kids.....not sure who at this point. As she ponders the picture with tears in her eyes….someone enters the room. We don’t immediately see who it is but BG is happy to see her. Turns out its Hanife. Both reach out for each other and we learn that they are sisters. They embrace with tears in their eyes as if they haven’t seen each other for years….is that likely?

Back at the Sadoglu mansion Handan is in tears as Cihan tries to find out what’s bothering her, assuming rightly its Azat. Turns out the injured Azat doesn’t want the company of his own mother nor does he want to ear. She’s concerned about his current state and the future knowing that Gonul has bad mouthed him and marked him for death. She’s scared and can’t take it anymore. Cihan comforts her but tells her to take care of herself and not to worry about the kids. She can only think about protecting them but Cihan tells her to leave it to him…that’s his job. She’s alarmed to hear Cihan says that he’s going to take the fight to Azize (aka BG) and knows her weakness. His plan involves a paring of Elif and Azat (looks like the patio was right). Hadan doesn’t look convinced.

Epi 33 part 2

Back to the sisters discussing the last time they saw each other as Hanife ponders why they had to meet a the abandoned shack. Turns out BG left to be the novia of Aslanbey (another score for the patio) while Hanife was left to b a servant of house Sadoglu. BG chose the meeting place so the sisters would not forget where they came from. BG says she didn’t know anything about the Sadoglus and asks Hanife for her blessings. Hanife gives it easily as BG is her older sister and means everything to her. The sisters embrace and just as the patio thinks she has a heart….she starts to spew her web about what Azat did to Gonul and they have to pay. But Hanife counters that she knows Azat and he’s not capable of hurting anyone like that. Not what BG wanted to hear so she walks away and questions Hanife’s allegiance but Hanife continues with her truth about Azat. She knows whose good vs bad and Azat is a good guy. But it’ his mother who is no good since she planted a spy at BG’s house. This gets BG’s attention as she was clueless. She gives Hadan credit but states none of the idiot Sadoglus can touch her. Before parting, BG orders Hanife to keep her eyes open and her informed like she’s done all these years as her vengeance has began . Hanife informs her that the Sadoglu family doesn’t have the prestige of the past and there’s infighting. This pleases BG but she still wants more pain for them. Hanife pleads with her about how much longer must this continue. She’s not been able to form her own family or have her own life having done everything BG has asked regarding the vendetta. She’s already told her everything she’s seen including that Reyan is not a Sadoglu. She’s tired and wants to know what more she has to do….she wants to leave …she lost her youth at that place.

Of course, BG cares about nothing but her vengeance and she tries to keep Hanife on course, telling her it’s not the time to give in since they are so far from the end. She needs her to complete her mission. Hanife gives in and leaves but on her walk home she’s devastated and weak. She cries for the years she’s lost following her sister’s orders and vows to herself that things won’t be the same going forward.

At home, Miran is starting out into the sky pondering his situation when Esma comes to him. She reminds him of the times they would have coffee together when he was younger. She now wants them to sit and have coffee as adults. She can see the anguish in him and he tells her he’s not good. BG walks up unnoticed as Miran starts to chat with Esma… telling her he’s not doing so great and he’s tired. With this, he puts his head in her lap and she strokes his hair. Apparently this is another thing they used to do when he was young and missing his mother. Esma tries to calm him but he can’t he says. He’s a confused disaster. BG continues to listen as he confesses he’s done some bad things and it hurts him. He did it for his mother but he’s not sure it was the right thing to do. He recounts how Hazar told him his mother would be ashamed of him if she were alive. Hazar has confused him as well as Sutana with the things she’s implied. Still listening from afar, BG is alarmed. Miran continues …with a trembling voice near tears ….that something is not right and he feels trapped and not sure he knows the whole truth. This brings Esma to tears. He’s only sure of one thing….he regrets what he did to Reyan and the remorse is killing him. He didn’t even get to spend the whole day with her so he could explain things to her. Esma tries to console him while BG listens...realizing she needs to adjust her plans.

Epi 33 part 3

Later alone, Miran he holds the ring he has for Reyan and looks up at the sky obviously thinking of Reyan. She too is outside looking at the stone she kept from their walk. She holds it to her heart and the night ends.

Very early, the following morning, Gonul is outside staring hopelessly when her mom walks up and asks her if she needs something. Her reply is yes….she needs to be happy… for people to keep their promises and she needs Miran. At this very moment, the mansion doors open as the family lawyer walks in with divorce paper for her to sign. Meanwhile, Melike wakes Reyan with a message from Miran to meet her at the gate or he’ll come inside to get her. Reyan doesn’t want any trouble but Melike reminds her that Miran is crazy enough to walk right in. While Reyan gets dress, Melike takes her place in the bed to be her decoy if needed.

At the gate, Miran is pleased to see her and professes his love and commitment. She puts up a slight protest as he drags her to his car and puts a blindfold on her but promises he’s not kidnapping her again. He won’t tell her where they’re going.

Sultana is surprised about the divorce papers as the lawyer confirms to Gonul that she can sign them when she wants to and the process will start. (big mistake leaving it up to her…she will never sign those papers). Gonul stays calm and thanks the lawyer but Sultana is beside herself. Sultana vows she’ll never let her sign the docs but she doesn’t see the crazy in Gonul’s eyes as Gonul says it over. Not for her but them.

In the Sadoglu mansion, Zehra calls for Gul as they women, include Hanife, chit chat when Handan walks in with that chip on her shoulder. She congrats the women on being able to laugh while the family is surrounded by tragedy. She hones in on Zehra and takes the opportunity to rag on her for Reyan’s return. Before she can continue to take shots at Reyan, Gonul runs into the kitchen to announce that Reyan can’t be found. Before anyone can react to that, banging at the main door announces Azize’s arrival. She’s obviously there to bring more humiliation….this time in the form of an eviction notice. She gives the family 1 week to leave the premises as she has authority over the mansion. The family is stunned as Azize spits more venom and drops the legal docs over Nasuh’s biteless barking.

Meanwhile, at their destination, Miran removes the blind fold and the love birds gaze into each other’s eye’s longingly until finally Reyan questions where they are. She turns to see that Miran has rebuilt the love shack as it was before. This brings tears to her eyes and she takes a deep breath and they walk to go inside with her asking if he did this. Yes…he did ….there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for her. He built a swing in the ski and turned back time she says. He’ll stop time as well if she asks him to he says. He gets down on his knee and takes out the ankle bracelet and puts in on her. She trembles at his touch…while he vows the bracelet is a symbol of his eternal love. She’s too nervous to open the door so he does to their theme song. She takes in the view of the newly decorated cabana with tears and memories in her eyes. Something catches her eye and his eyes follow her as she walks over the white wedding dress that Yaren destroyed. He really wanted to see her in that dress he says. He pulls out the ring and she realizes what’s happening. He tells her their history ended in that cabana and in the same place they will start over if she allows him to rewrite their story. He wants to be at her side. With tears in his eye he asks her to marry her.

So every time Nasuh slapped Reyan I cringed as it's so violent and biased and baseless. I hope that Miran's revelation and threat to Nasuh puts an end to the senseless Reyan beat downs. I still hope that the story involves Hazar learning the truth about his heartless dear old dad.

Speaking of heartless...how the heck did Azize hold her sister captive in her stupid revenge plan...for 27 years. That's not love and aint that much loyalty in the real world. Hanife was as stupid as Azize was heartless. I give it to Nasuh when he said don't take 27 years to exact revenge. What a waste. Hope Hanife keeps her vow to herself and live for herself and not Azize.

So this divorce in going to drag on forever...no way is Gonul going to sign those papers willingly. In Turkey...can't the guy just get a divorce if he wants without the wife's say so. Gonul had those crazy eyes that says she aint ever giving up. Outside of keeping the marriage in the family for revenge...is there any other reason for Miran to get stuck with Gonul. Sultana doesn't have money or leverage over BG...just the knowledge of the truth right??

The love birds are having a moment...but it's not going to last. Wait till they get back to their respective mansions and see what's unfolding. They gonna have to leave Midyat if they ever want peace or a normal life.

Wow, Nett, what a terrific recap! It's hard to believe that you've not done lots of them before. You've captured everything important clearly and concisely. And I loved your remark in the commentary that followed part 3: "Hanife was as stupid as Azize was heartless." It's really hard to believe that Hanife just put aside her own life and did what Azize wanted for 27 years! Like you, I was glad to see that Hanife was not planning to continue.

Two other things about that scene with Hanife interested me. One was the photo that Azize found, the one of the woman with four children. I'm not sure who the woman is, but my guess is that it's Azize. We know that she had three sons, but was there a fourth child as well? (I confess that I didn't notice whether the children were boys or girls. If they were all or mostly girls, then the woman may have been Azize's mother.) The other thing that interested me about Hanife is how subservient and subdued she is with her older sister, Azize. She's so very different when she talks to Handan.

I think you're right about Gonul being unlikely to sign the divorce papers. I wonder what will happen if she refuses to sign. Like you, I was under the impression that a male in Turkey could divorce his wife without her consent. I guess we'll find out.

Again, many thanks for this excellent recap!

herc

Nett, thank you for filling in and providing this excellent recap of a humdinger of an episode! You certainly covered it all and there was a lot!

Wow, so Hanife is not only a spy but Azize’s younger sister! I was not expecting that. I think the picture Azize was looking at might be a school picture? There was a caption over the group that I couldn’t capture fast enough to translate it. Azize told Hanife that she used Reyyan as revenge for her son’s death, but Hanife had to stay longer with the Sadoglu because the revenge was only starting. There definitely has to be a past with Nasuh that is really, really bad.

Miran laying his head in Esma’s lap was heartbreaking. For a moment I thought maybe Esma might also be sister to Azize, but then I remembered a conversation she and BG had where BG asked how long Esma had worked with her and she said 30 years.

I have to give Miran credit, he is not afraid to stare down the barrel of a pistol empty handed. I too was glad he put Nasuh in his place, I am sick of Reyyan being the whipping (slapping) girl for that old tyrant.

His plan to rebuild that cabin so they could restart time was awesome. I am not sure Reyyan is immediately going to just say yes to the marriage proposal, but the slow changes in Miran will certainly help her at least consider it.

Unfortunately, as you mentioned Nett, the feuding households are deterrents to Reyyan and Miran’s happiness. I think they need to leave the country to make it!

Melike continues to be a reliable accomplice for Miran. I like her spunk!

Thanks again Nett!

Herc

Thank you, Nett. Concise and capturing everything important.

Interesting fact, Azize left their old house to become Aslanbey, and Hanife left the house to become a servant in Sadoglu house. Doing the math: 27 years ago Azize's son died, who was at least 20 at the time. So, Azize left the house and became Aslanbey about 48 years ago. Let's say Hanife left the house 5 years after Azize, when she was 18, that is 43 years ago. At that time Nasuh's sons were little boys.

Herc

Thx for the kind words on the recap all. Not confident in recapping but I had some experience with Amor Eterno during it's original run.

Hanife being a sister was really surprising to me. Didn't see that coming...just assumed she was a spy. She has a lot of spunk when dealing with the women at the Sadoglu mansion but she's so submissive to her older sister....is that a cultural thing? I need a better reason for her to have played along with that drawn out vendetta plan...for her to have put her life on hold for Azize. Just that Azize is her older sister is not enough for me. But 27 years is a long time for anything.

Miran is really trying to show Reyan how he feels and it's real but he has to show her real change. Him going after Azat wont help his cause. Everyone in his mansion need to listen to Elif...and realize that Gonul is a liar and isn't telling the whole truth about her time with Azat. She's lied before about being stabbed so shouldn't that make them all take pause. And Miran needs to start asking more questions of the Sultana and Hazar so he can get to the bottom of what they know about mother. If I were him....beyond how she died....I would just want to know more and would seek out anyone who knew her for that info. He's so hot headed and brain washed that he can't see past the anger and vengeance that Azie has instilled in him.

Nett, thank you for an excellent retelling of all the bubble, bubble, toil and trouble . Lots of scenery chewing and stirring the pot in this show .

I was surprised when BG went to that odd Cottage (?) Took that photo off the wall and then Hanife walked in . I wonder if that was a photo of their mother and them with other siblings.

These shows often are about revenge plots that go on the decades ....Like oud owb Hatfields vs McCoys.

Do we know how BG got the mansion ?

Herc

Thank you, Nett, for stepping up for us. This was a great recap. I read some of your Amor Eterno recaps and those were great, too.

What a reveal about Azize and Hanife. They grew up in that place.

About that picture, I think it said “Mardin hatırası” - Memory of Mardin. And so Susanlynn, I’m thinking that was a pic of Azize with her mother and siblings. Looked like there were 3 girls and one boy. And that makes me think about what VVS posed, could Esma be another sister? Azize could have brought her to the Aslanbey konak. Do we throw that into the crockpot?

Thanks Lucio, for doing the math. I think it was just the circumstances of life that Azize became a DIL in the Aslanbey konak while Hanife went to the Sadoglu konak as a servant. Azize likely was a very young bride and Hanife could have gone to the Sadoglus at a very early age. In Embajador, Gulsiye went to the mansion when she was 8. All of this is pre-venganza and I guess Hanife got stuck when the venganza started.

I am glad Hanife told the truth about Azat and that helps to open the way for Elif/Azat. And Sahriyar has been exposed!

And I actually liked Miran last night. Rebuilding the cabin was great idea.

Cafe

I know that no one recaps Cafe, and initially I wasn’t too interested in “another” version, but the story has drawn me in some, thanks mostly to the Marcela, LeMarcus and Bernardo storylines. I love Marcela’s spunk and devotion to her brothers Seb and Bernardo, and I’m happy that her and LeMarcus worked out their issue regarding the water pump situation, although it should’ve never come between them in the first place. Each of these characters adds “flavor” to——yes even today, the sometimes uncomfortable topics of interracial love and homosexuality. So far, it’s being done realistically imo.

As for Seb and Gaviota, her upbeat personality is so opposite of his sulky, almost bland one. Not sure if it’s just Wm Levy’s portrayal of Seb or if this is really what the writers intended? So far he’s underwhelming, and I can’t root for them as a couple. I like Leonidas much more, but I know she not only won’t, but can’t end up with him. They have changed some of the original aspects of this novela, so who knows....maybe..

The bad guys, Lucia, her dad, and Ivan are played to type, so even if you can’t stand them, you’re really not supposed to too. Carlos Mario is an atypical bad guy, and he makes me laugh so I don’t mind seeing him and even look forward to it! He’s funny!! Julia is the typical opinionated, prejudiced, controlling matriarch, although her now dead husband appeared to be the complete opposite. The other side stories are ok too.

Thanks to the English subs, and my limited understanding of Spanish, I get most of what’s going on well enough....

Herc

This was the first episode in a while when Reyyan was not hostile towards Miran. The one day getaway trip worked. Especially the explanation of his marriage to Gonul calmed her down.

It was the end of season one for Turkish broadcast and the last scene had this song - very fitting: "Sil Baştan" - "Back to Square One" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCMqnFKGOUE

I love the mystery part of this TN. Here are the mysteries yet to solve:
- What started Azize's vengeance.
- What happened 27 years ago, to Miran's mother, Azize's son.
- What happened to Gonul's brother
- Where is Reyyan's bio dad
- Who are Firat's parents

herc

Thanks for your “straight up, no chaser” recap Nett! I enjoyed it! I don’t even know where to begin after the Azize/ Hanife reveal! Everyone knew that there was something between them—— but sisters!?!? Wow! and as disagreeable as I’ve found Hanife so far, I honestly felt sorry for her. She’s no match for Azize, and Azize made it clear that Hanife has to give up the rest of her life for her revenge. I used to admire Azize’s badazzness, but she is downright cruel! Her soul is dark and angry, and at this point, I see no goodness in her! Like you,I need to see a very good reason why Hanife would give up her youth, and the prospect of love and a family for Azize! Makes no sense!

Also, like VVS pointed out, the scene with Miran on Esma’s lap was heartbreaking! He may be uncontrollable and cocky, but deep down he’s just a boy crying out for a love he ceased to receive when his mother died. Esma is a gentle, giving soul, but she won’t cross that Azize line——sad!

Miran made all the right moves, I thought, but he’s moving too fast for Reyyan, and I’m afraid that she will reject him because she’s simply just not ready. Miran wants her like yesterday, but Reyyan is just catching up after all that’s happened. She loves him, but she still needs time to process what he’s done vs what he’s showing her now. Time builds trust....not grand gestures. Though if it were me ( cause I know what I know) I’d be all over it! And him! Lol......

I agree that this revenge is an old, festering wound of Azize’s. That anyone, even Azize would give up so much of her life and time for revenge is sad indeed. Just think of all the good she could’ve done with almost 30 yrs worth of that energy! And as much as I want to see Azize go down, I know I’ll probably feel sorry for her when all is revealed......sigh....

Thanks again Nett! 💯

Thanks, Lucio. I'm very disappointed they didn't keep the original soundtrack. I've been listening to some of it on YouTube.

A lot of mysteries to keep us interested, indeed. And we have 57 Turkish episodes to go!

We've speculated that Firat could be Sultana's missing son, Gonul's brother.

I'm wondering about Reyyan's bio dad, he's supposed to be dead. I'd like to know how Zehra and Hazar hooked up.

I expect we will get at least one person returning from being assumed "dead".

I get to recap the season two premier tonight and Reyyan's answer.

So many questions out there sure. Lucio thanks for that interesting timeline and list of unknowns/unanswered questions. You get my gold star for calling it right on the Hanife/Azize connection!

dondi356, I always appreciate the Turkish translations! Yes, let us toss the Esma is another sister to Azize into that crackpot! I also downloaded the Turkish sound track, it is lovely. I think you will have another good episode to recap! Can’t wait!

carmella, the Hanife tie/devotion to Azize is puzzling, what hold does she have on her and Esma to keep them quiet? I too think that Reyyan needs a little more time to process everything and build that trust. Maybe she says “yes” tonight and they just move into the cute cabin because going to the house of Aslanbey evil is just going to keep Miran tied to the BG collective!

I would also say yes and be all over it and Miran, carmella! LOL! Another person commented earlier on that Miran was a Hunk of Burning Turkish Love, I agree! Those steamy, intense gazes are, whew…hot! 😊 He just needs a new barber and hair style!

Herc #34 part 1

Disclaimer: my recording stopped halfway through and the online site froze, crashed and lacked captions in lots of places. So please make additions and corrections as necessary. Thanks.

Will you marry me? Reyyan’s answer— No.

Miran bolts from the cabin shouting, why?! Why not?! Why?! Reyyan follows him outside. Miran says, your eyes say yes, but your mouth says something else. Why are you saying this, Reyyan? Do you really need to ask, she replies.

She takes his arm and orders, come with me, and leads him back into the house. She shouts, look! Look at that bed! She thinks back to the morning after the wedding night. How she looked at that bed and threw the lamp that started the fire. Then she sat and waited for the flames to consume her.

Miran reaches out to her, Reyyan… She pulls away, don’t touch me. Her mind is still on that morning. Miran reaches out again and she recoils and repeats, don’t touch me. What’s wrong, he asks? She answers, you buried me and put this bed over my grave. I thought I would be happy here, but it was my grave. She asks, do you really think everything can be erased and rewritten? It’s not that easy, she cries. The pain is always here. She beats her chest. Do you want to know my answer? My answer is no.

He remembers that morning, too. Reyyan on the ground in her wedding dress, shouting his name as he walked away… Miran!

I understand the war you have within, he tells her. It’s enough to drive you crazy. One side wants to say yes and the other says no. He asks her to listen to the part that says yes. Please. Whenever I listen to my heart, he says, it always takes me to you. You should do the same. Please say yes and be my wife and I’ll heal all your wounds. I’ll make up for everything you went through. I promise. Miran continues, we both got burned here, but as you see, I cleaned all the ashes. And if you want, we can be reborn here. We can finally rewrite our story.

Reyyan responds, you marked our love forever. She turns away from him, it’s impossible to rewrite our story. He asks her to look into his eyes. He tells her it’s hard to believe, but the eyes never lie. I’ve also suffered a lot for what I’ve done, but I promise I’ll never hurt you or me again. You can trust me, he says.

Reyyan wants to know, who is asking me to be his wife? Is it the Miran who’s been looking at me with loving eyes or the one who wounded me? Which one is proposing? Who are you, Miran? Are you a man who was raised to plan revenge or a man who doesn’t care about revenge and wants rebuild his love? Answer me. For this love, I want you to forget your revenge.

Meanwhile at the Sadoglu konak, Hazar stares at the eviction notice. And Cihan goes nuts and pulls out his gun. Someone has to stop Azize once and for all! Family members hold him back. You think killing Azize will get the house back, Hazar asks? He waves the eviction notice around. This is a contract We are indebted to them. Cihan tries to leave again and there’s another tussle.

Nasuh shouts, Şadoğluları! Let’s calm down, we don’t have time for this. We are leaving this house today! Nasuh walks away and the rest stand in shocked silence.
Back to the honeymoon cabin. Miran is silent and Reyyan feels she has her answer. She goes to leave but he stops her. Reyyan, listen. She will listen but only after he answers her question. Miran says nothing.

See, Reyyan tells him, you can’t look at me and say you will forget your revenge, right? Because even if you wanted to, Señora Azize will always be there to poison you. As long as you carry this anger, my pain will never end. Miran says, just say yes and I’ll handle the rest. Your pain will disappear. I promise. You have to believe me. I’ll protect you from everyone.

dondi356

Herc #34 part 2

Do you think that’s possible, she asks? How do you expect me to protect myself from you? She laments, there are times when you’re another man… and you make me feel anything is possible. But it’s not enough to only feel loved sometimes and think we live in a fairy tale. The real world stops me like a wall, she cries, and every time I try to knock it down, my scars start bleeding again. I can’t forget the past, Miran. I can’t keep my heart from breaking.

Miran tells her, I’m ready to protect you with my life. I’ll do anything it takes [how about just fixing your hair?] I’ll sacrifice myself for your happiness. She shakes her head, no, I don’t want you to end your life. Just stay away from me. Don’t seek me out anymore. After all the pain we’ve endured, there is no “us”. It’s too late to rewrite the story, Miran. She leaves the cabin.

Too bad they spliced in Spanish song. This was the song in the original: Değmen Benim Gamlı Yaslı Gönlüme/Don’t Touch My Sorrowful Heart – Ebru Şahin (Reyyan)
YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgVdCN_IGQA
Lyrics: https://lyricstranslate.com/en/de%C4%9Fmen-benim-gaml%C4%B1-yasl%C4%B1-g%C3%B6nl%C3%BCme-dont-touch-my-sorrowful-mournful-heart.html

Sultana is ripping into Gonul about the divorce. What were you trying to say? What is this? -- “it’s not over for me, but it is for them” Have you lost your mind?! Señora Azize must have done something to manipulate you… bingo!

Gonul has a flashback. She is out in a field with Azize and she seems horrified. Grandmother, what are you saying? Who would do that? Why would I do something like that? No, that can’t be true. You’re lying. You just want me to divorce Miran.
Azize answers, I don’t care if you believe me. I told you what happened. Either you sign those papers so our plans continue, or I’ll bury this secret forever.

No, you’re lying, Gonul cries, this can’t be. How could you pressure me like this just because you decide that we should divorce? Azize tells her that Miran will divorce her whether she want to or not. But even if you divorce him, you can take Miran and give your mother the child she always wanted to have. I can’t, Gonul says. Even if I agree, my mother will never let me do something like that.

BG says, you are Azize Aslanbey’s granddaughter. I’m sure you will find a way to persuade your mother if you want. Maintain your status, there is no other choice. Either divorce Miran or you’re done. End flashback. Anyone have a guess, here?

Gonul stands up to her mother—no one is manipulating or influencing me. I made that decision and I’m going to sign those papers. Sultana accuses Azize of poisoning Gonul’s mind. How can you believe her lies, she asks? Gonul shoots back, why have you obeyed her all these years? Sultana points her finger, we’ve both done the same, watch what you say.

Gonul says her mom is right but, they will never be the same. You are a bride of an Aslanbey, she says, and I’m a real Aslanbey. I have the family’s blood in my veins. I have more authority in this family than you, whether you like it or not!

Sultana delivers the bofetada! I may not have the family blood, she states, but I’ve sacrificed myself by spilling my own! Don’t forget they owe me a child! Gonul says, I haven’t forgotten, which is why you’ll be very sorry for slapping me someday. With that, Gonul leaves the room.

Miran is driving and replays some scenes: The morning after at the cabin: “What happened here, stays here, don’t follow me. Everything ended in this cabin.” Reyyan showing up at his office and handing him a gun: “shoot. Kill me, already! So all of our problems can die with me” Mahmud is driving Azize and they are almost broadsided by the distracted driving Miran.

Herc #34 part 3

The Sadoglus are preparing the move. Azat suddenly shouts for the workers to stop. No one is taking anything out of this mansion! Hazar asks him what’s going on. Azat shouts again, this is our family’s house, we don’t deserve this! Gul is lurking nearby and listening to Azat’s rant. Are we going to leave without a word just because Miran and Azize Aslanbey say so? Handan asks Azat to calm down before he causes them more embarrassment. Azat states he’s going to fix this. He will make Miran fix this and he won’t return until he gets the house back.

Nasuh comes out in the middle of this commotion. Azat shouts at him, are we leaving because our enemies want? Cihan chimes in, if you won’t listen to him, please listen to me. There’s still time, we will find a way. Nasuh can’t be swayed. He orders them to keep packing, they are leaving. He says before the day is over, we will be at our country house.

This comes as a surprise to everyone. Cihan says, I know you never wanted to live there. No one knows why, buy you’ve always hated the country. [oooh, another secret] Hazar approaches his father, you haven’t been there for years. What is going on? Nasuh’s not telling. Just do as I say, he orders, I don’t want your opinions. He tells Hazar to contact Yusef and tell him to prepare the house.

Nasuh walks away and little Gul with her baby bottle in hand, sneaks away unseen.

Cihan goes to his father. Dad, stop that snake Azize. She’s dishonored us and now she’s taken our home. Nasuh warns Cihan to watch what he says, while I am the head of this family, no one will spill the blood of a Sadoglu.

Cihan backs off, you are my father, my leader. As always, you tell us what we will do. But if you allow, I can get us out of this situation. For once, trust me, father. I’ll not only get the house back but I’ll also tear her heart out. Nasuh stays his course and warns Cihan not to meddle in this. Finish packing.

Miran is crying at his mother’s grave. [notice how he never talks to his father?] I couldn’t do it, mama, he says, I couldn’t make Reyyan forgive me. I did everything and said everything I felt. But none of it was enough for her to believe me. She left, mama, she left. She took the oxygen from my lungs and left, trampling my heart. I can’t even breathe.

But Miran still has enough oxygen to cry, I don’t know what to do… help me. I’ve lost my way. I can’t even see where I’m going. I need you more than ever. I need to hear your voice. I wish you could be here with me. I wish you could be her to guide me, he puts his head down and sobs.

There’s a sign, a butterfly appears and lands on Dilsah’s headstone [“Loli” viewers ask, Mari, is that you?]. Ok, Miran says, I won’t give up. I promise I won’t, mama. I won’t give up Reyyan. Somehow I’ll make her trust me. I’ll do everything I can to keep her in this fairy tale. I’ll give up on everything, but I’ll never give up on Reyyan. The butterfly floats away and Miran walks.

Reyyan walks and thinks, can a fairy tale begin again where it ended? Can broken illusions be repaired? Can someone be both the problem and the solution? Reyyan tells herself, you did the right thing this time. She looks at the ankle bracelet and pulls it off. She thinks, will this pain disappear with time?

She reaches the mansion and sees the truck outside. She enters the mansion and sees the bundles and furniture stacked. And of course there’s Yaren and Handan watching her from the balcony….and here they come… Reyyan notices the eviction notice folded on the ground.
Melike comes rushing out. Where have you been? Your mother’s been calling you! Something horrible has happened! What happened, what is this, Reyyan asks?

dondi356

Herc #34 part 4

Handan starts in with Reyyan, while Yaren watches and waits for her turn. Descarada! You did it again, right? It’s your fault we have no honor and no house. She pushes Reyyan and shouts, we’re finished! Melike grabs a hold of Handan’s arm, but she swats her away. Hanife is observing this, too. Handan continues, just the fact of your existence has dragged us into misery. Reyyan asks, what happened?

It’s Yaren’s turn now, it’s your fault we are being evicted from the mansion. Cihan shows up and calls Yaren off. Reyyan says this is impossible. Cihan says it’s happening. The Aslanbeys have confiscated the mansion. Reyyan runs off to find her parents.

Hazar is finishing the details with Yusuf over the phone. Reyyan runs into the room and into her father’s arms. She cries. When will this end, dad, I can’t stand it. He calms her, it will end… it will end. Reyyan says, this is all my fault. Zehra comes in.

Hazar tells her not to say such nonsense. This has nothing to do with you. If it is anyone’s fault, he says, it’s mine. I was the one who blindly entrusted you to that monster. He assures his daughter that he will find a solution and they will soon be back in the house. And the Aslanbey family will rot in hell. There’s a family hug. Then Hazar leaves the room.

Miran is still in the car, talking to himself. I won’t permit you to take me out of your life, Reyyan. I will not give up on you.

Miran spots Gul sitting out on the street. She’s drawing in a patch of sand with a stick, looking very sad. He gets out and goes to her. What are you doing here in the street Señorita Gul? He sits next to her and says, look at me princess. Have you been crying? Gul answers, I don’t want to talk to you. Why? She explains, you don’t love me or my sister anymore. If you did, you wouldn’t have taken our house from us. Where are we going to sleep now, she asks?

Miran says he didn’t do this. He would never take her house. Gul shouts at him, don’t lie! It was the woman with the dark eyes. She told my grandpa we had to go! My cousin Azat said, “Miran did this”. Your heart is evil, Miran! He’s shocked and looks at Gul’s drawing. A family of four, outside of a house.

Reyyan is packing her room and Melike is helping. Reyyan comes across the compact mirror and opens it. She gets sad. Melike notices and goes over to her. What happened? Say something, you are scaring me. Why did Miran call you, she asks? Reyyan replies, he had the cabin rebuilt… and he asked me to marry him.

Melike is excited. What did you tell him? Oh, he’s going to rebuild all that he destroyed. First he did it with the cabin and now he will do it with your heart. She notes Reyyan’s distress. So why do you have that look? Aren’t you happy?

Reyyan sits on her bed. I should be happy, right? But I can’t, Melike. She explains, he took me to that horrible place where everything ended, to start all over again. I believed that my pain was gone… but when Miran touched me in that cabin, I knew that it wasn’t. The pain hasn’t gone. I felt I was living a nightmare, I felt strange.

Melike asks, strange, how? Reyyan says, scared. Like every time he touched me, I remembered that terrible moment. Whatever I do, I continue to be prisoner to that painful moment.

Melike reminds her that they have had many good moments after that. You told me about Urfa. He tried to gain your trust. You were excited when he held your hand. Reyyan admits that is true. But today was different. I was frozen and petrified when Miran touched me in that cabin again.

Melike comforts Reyyan, you will be ok. You should spend more time with him. You’ll see. When you get married again, you will be happy like at the beginning. Reyyan says, this time is different. This time there is no us. Look what has happened. Besides all this suffering, we lost our home.

dondi356

Herc #34 part 5

Melike tells her that Miran had nothing to do with it. He probably doesn’t even know it happened. But his grandmother…Reyyan jumps in, that woman will always destroy our life. When Miran wants to fix things, she will come and ruin everything again. Every time I give him an opportunity, somehow we get hurt. And not just us two, but our family, too. Melike says, true, but why don’t you think about it a little more?

Reyyan shakes her head, Miran doesn’t have enough power to stop his grandmother. When I look into his eyes, I only see darkness. A bottomless pit full lies. How can I be sure of this man, of not being trapped in some scheme of his grandmother’s? Miran still thinks that this ruthless story she told about my father is true. Melike says, but maybe you can create a new story for you both. It’s time to write your own story, amiga. Say: “this is not a good story, the new one will be.” Reyyan doesn’t look too hopeful.

Miran assures Gul that he would never let anything happen to her or her sister. Don’t you trust me, he asks? Gul trusts him but her grandfather, father and the others do not. They will tell my sister and she will cry. You said you wouldn’t let her suffer again. She won’t cry again, he promises. I won’t let anyone hurt your sister again. I’ll take care of it. And when will you, Gul asks? As soon as possible. She gives Miran a happy hug.

Sultana goes after Azize with the divorce papers in hand. Gonul chases after her. You can manipulate my daughter, Sultana says, but you can’t trick me. You treat us like we were your enemies. Today we received the divorce petition from Miran. Sultana warns, Señora Azize, your games are going to collapse one by one.

Azize responds, you don’t know how things work here. I wanted this marriage and now I’ve decided to end it. it’s you who shouldn’t confuse my granddaughter with your schemes and insecurities. Azize walks away but Sultana follows and asks, do you think your words still have any value? What you don’t know is that they are not important to Miran anymore. Your plan didn’t work, you didn’t know how to control your grandson. And now you want to control Gonul like a puppet.

While Gonul silently panics in the background, Sultana defiantly states, you can’t fool me, Señora, it’s impossible. Gonul steps in, mom that’s enough. I explained that this was my decision. Azize snarks, when I was young the mothers used to answer for their daughters and now it’s the daughters answering for their mothers. She tells Gonul, take your mother to her room so she can rest, and make her wash her face and look in the mirror so she can remember her place.

The Sadoglus are ready to leave. They assemble in the patio. Nasuh says, why the faces? I told you I didn’t want tears. We are not bastards like the Aslanbeys. This has been ours for centuries. We have lived many painful days inside these walls. We have been through storms, but we have never fallen defeated. This won’t be the first time. We will be back here soon. We will put down roots again in our home. Señora Gul’s grandchildren will run and play on this patio. Nasuh shouts, do you all hear me?!

The pep talk didn’t have much of an effect. Nasuh gives the final order to move out. Hazar says, papa… Nasuh answers, I already said what there is to say. Take your things and let's go.

dondi356

Herc #34 part 6

Handan gives an aside to Yaren, we lost the mansion, and he thinks we will be able to get it back. My suegro is crazy. Yaren adds, while that girl is here (Reyyan), there will be problems. There won’t be a solution if she doesn’t go.

Gul breaks away from grandpa’s hand and places her baby bottle in the middle of the patio. She declares, my bottle will stay here until we return. The woman with the dark eyes will see my bottle and she will know that the Sadoglu family will return to the house! Gul returns to her grandfather.

The family files out, leaving Nasuh and Gul inside. Nasuh tries to contain his sadness. Gul tells him, don’t be sad, grandpa, we will be back. He answers, of course Señora Gul, we will be back and very soon. I will not let anyone take your bottle out of there.

Outside Cihan comments, I don’t know if I feel bad that people are looking or that we lost our home. What a destiny. He asks, who committed the mistakes that we are paying for? Handan adds, we should have never accepted Reyyan back. That’s what should have happened from the first day. Yaren says, now look what has happened, we are out on the street thanks to that tramp.

Thank goodness Azat speaks up. You should be ashamed of what you are saying. You all know Miran is responsible for everything, and you keep blaming Reyyan. Cihan shouts, shut up! You know perfectly well that Reyyan is responsible for everything, but all you do is keep defending her!

Hazar steps in and says enough. I can’t stand it anymore. Don’t you have a pinch of shame to speak like this in this moment. You ought to know that where we go, you and I will take different paths, Cihan. Nasuh asks, what’s the meaning of this?

Esma asks Firat, did you know about this divorce? Firat shakes his head no. After what happened with Gonul, Miran stopped speaking to me.

And speak of the devil, Miran enters the mansion, shouting, abuela!

And we are out.

Thank you, dondi. Captivating recap. Entertaining side notes.

"No!" Good for Reyyan! All Reyyan's arguments made sense. Many of them were about the hurt of the past, which one may forgive and forget, but the one about giving up his venganza was about the future. It needs to be resolved before they have a chance.

Thank you for finding the original song for the scene of Reyyan walking away. The scene was longer than what we saw. Music adds so much to the experience, and the original songs are beautiful. I feel like everytime the Spanish language song is played I need to look up the original, otherwise I am not getting the full effect of the scene.

Gonul/Azize flashback - some secret - Sultana's son?

"No one knows why, but you’ve always hated the country. [oooh, another secret]" - exactly! We should keep a count!

"Handan starts in with Reyyan, while Yaren watches and waits for her turn. Descarada!" - Cinderella treatment. She is a stepdaughter but doesn't know it. Argument for "El casado casa quiere." Hazar should have moved out long ago. How about now? Perfect opportunity. They have to move out of the house anyway.

Herc

Dondi , thanks for a great recap of all the crying and chest beating . Yikes . JUst watching These people is exhausting .

I am confused . First, how was Azize able to throw the family out of the house ? Does she own the house ?

Second , regarding Goonul's flashback ..was Azize telling her that she should divorce Miran but that she should sleep with him to get pregnant? Is that what Azize meant ? Wait! What ? WHY?

Gul is adorable . How old is she ? The baby bottle ?

herc

Yikes, dondi356, what a perfect storm of catastrophes tried to prevent you from doing this recap. But what a perfect recap you created in spite of them all! I don't know how you did it. Any one of them would have done me in. And you kept your cool well enough to include some delightful snark: "I’ll do anything it takes [how about just fixing your hair?]."

Lucio already has made a point I too thought: all Miran's promises focused on what he could do to "fix" the past, to make it possible for Reyyan to forgive him. But when she asked if he would give up the venganza, something he could do to make a meaningful future possible for them, he couldn't respond. Reyyan was absolutely right to focus on that, and to refuse him when he remained silent.

I'm totally mystified by the following: "Either you sign those papers so our plans continue, or I’ll bury this secret forever." At the end of this scene between Gonul and Azize, you wrote "Anyone have a guess, here?" Am I right in thinking that you too are mystified?

As Lucio has pointed out, there's also another secret hinted at, Nasuh's hatred of the country and the country house.

I'm bothered at all the emphasis placed on physical ancestry. There's of course the scorn that Handan et al have for Reyyan for not being a REAL Sadoglu, and Zehra's fear that Reyyan will no longer feel Hazar is her father when she finds that she doesn't have his "blood." And in this episode, we see Gonul lord it over her mother because she, Gonul, is a REAL Aslanbey, with REAL Aslanbey blood running through her veins, whereas Sultana, a mere daughter-in-law, is a pale imitation. ¡Ya basta!

How old is Gul supposed to be? Both her scheming on behalf of Miran and her standing up to Nasuh suggest she's older than she looks, but her carrying around a baby bottle that she apparently still drinks from suggests she's younger than she looks.

I expected Cihan to suggest to his father his plan for getting Elif to be Azat's novia as a way of getting back at Azize. I guess the domineering Nasuh didn't give Cihan (or anyone else) a chance to say anything.

One of the parts of your terrific recap that I liked best was your aside when the butterfly appears on Dilsah's tombstone: "[“Loli” viewers ask, Mari, is that you?]." YES!!

herc

dondi356, I can even imagine what your recap would have been like without the technical issues. This was AMAZING! Just a few more things to comment on as so many others have already added so many interesting thoughts:

Miran tells her, I’m ready to protect you with my life. I’ll do anything it takes [how about just fixing your hair?] Oh my goodness, this really gave me a good chuckle!

Miran is crying at his mother’s grave. [notice how he never talks to his father?] I have noticed that.

There’s a sign, a butterfly appears and lands on Dilsah’s headstone [“Loli” viewers ask, Mari, is that you?] I think “Butterfly Logic” is universal dondi356. 😊 Thanks for that reminder of the Loli days.

Azize responds, you don’t know how things work here. I wanted this marriage and now I’ve decided to end it. Like everyone one else, I am very confused about why there was a marriage in the first place and why it is okay to get the divorce.

I have no theories to add to the Gonul/Azize conversation in the open field. I am throwing my hat in with Lucio’s theory that maybe Azize told Gonul her brother lives?

My crackpot theory about the “country house” is that is where it all went down years ago with Dilsah and Hazar. Maybe when he rescued her, that is where they took refuge? Or maybe that is where Azize and Nasuh first met and things went bad from a love perspective? Nasuh has made references several times in the last two episode that the Aslanbey family do not have roots or history, not sure what that all means.

Anyway, lots to think about! I so enjoy your Friday recaps dondi356! Thank you!

Herc

In last night's episode, I thought that it looked as though Miran's bangs had gotten a little trim.

Okay, off we go to the country. I dont think that 's going to change the yelling and threatening . Will there be animalitos to feed abd cows to milk?

Excellent recap Dondi356! They really pack a lot of punch in less than an hr, and like Susalynn alluded to, it sure was EXHAUSTING! These people make me tired! They’re either crying or screaming, and I don’t understand why the lot of them aren’t hoarse! They must use mucho throat lozenges. I knew Reyyan was going to say no to Miran, and her reasons were spot on—— more than I gave her credit for. Who wants to live with an angry, brooding man no matter how much she might love him. Go to therapy Miran!

Then the “Cihan” Sadoglus’s save Azat, take no responsibility for NADA! Everything is Reyyan’s fault. Like REALLY! I just want to stick a pin in Handan’s unsufferable, bloated face and watch her shoot off like a rocket into outer space! She’s so full of self-righteous hot air! She’s not the only one, but she’s getting on my nerves the most at the moment, lol.

As for Azize giving Gonul hope, or whatever she gave her, Gonul is a fool to believe Azize, like her mother said. Azize is self serving “pure and simple.” How she can still say all the right things and make people believe her, is beyond me. She shows her true colors over and over again, yet people still fall in line with her whims.

The saving grace this episode were Gul and Melike. Both are rays of sunshine surrounded by all these dark, depressing and angry clouds.

Thanks again Dondi356!

Herc

Thanks, everyone, for watching, reading and commenting. Great insight and speculation.

Lucio, I think I already lost count of the secrets. “El casado casa quiere”— LOL, but difficult given the culture of the region.

I was totally confused by the Azize/Gonul flashback. It wasn’t any clearer in the Turkish ep although it seemed that it had something to do with Sultana’s missing child.

Susanlynn, Miran, using his alias, had gained Nasuh’s trust and brought the Sadoglus into a bogus business deal that left them in serious debt to the Aslanbeys. They couldn’t pay it off, so Azize is seizing assets, and it's the konak she wants most of all.

Susanlynn and Juanita, I also think Gul with a baby bottle full of milk is weird. The actress is 7 now so she was around 5 when the show started, and I think they mentioned Gul was 5.

You could be on to something VVS, with the country house as “where it all went down years ago with Dilsah and Hazar”. But Nasuh is certainly affected, so it could be related to his backstory.

Carmella, yes, it’s way too early for Reyyan to say yes. “I just want to stick a pin in Handan’s unsufferable, bloated face and watch her shoot off like a rocket into outer space!” - LOL

Back from vacation and finally caught up. It's pretty difficult watching five and staying away from Caray until I'm caught up. By difficult I mean that it's hard to remember any insights I had while watching and/or which episode brought on an insight!

And I was also watching some of the Olympics and my amazing San Francisco Giants (best record in baseball!!) It was a good thing my vacation with the family involved some moving around because I have been a couch potato since returning

Most of all, thank you all so much for the fantastic recaps! I was thrilled that Nett volunteered to take Thursday. Excellent recap, Nett.

I find the timing of this dizi in Turkey vs US interesting. I was a bit concerned having read somewhere that Hercai was several seasons long. Were they going to leave us hanging with the plot unresolved or perhaps cut so much as to turn it into a mess? From what dondi posted, I gather that the Turks were left hanging after Miran proposed.

Several people have wondered why Gonul shot Azat. I thought it was because he had changed his tune and was going to take her back to her family without Reyyan having also been released. She wanted more than anything for Reyyan and Miran to be separated.

I still don't understand why Azize wanted Reyyan for the fake wedding instead of Yaren. Yaren IS a Sadoglu. I suppose it must be because she really wants to hurt Hazar in particular. But, as we've opined for weeks, he wasn't really responsible for the death of her son and we've gathered that she knows that.

I gave some thought to what Azize could have said to Gonul to "get her in line". It could have been that Reyyan is not a Sadoglu, although that doesn't track that well. Might it have been that Miran is a Sadoglu instead of an Aslanbey? And, keeping Reyyan's true parentage to herself, hinted that Miran and Reyyan are siblings?

And, like the rest of you, I'm certain that something bad went down at the country house. I WAS shocked that Nasuh left so meekly. I suppose we'll get some reason later on.

HERC

Thank you, VVS, Juanitta, Novelera, NETT!! and dondi356 for all tha recaps and clearing up osme thing. Nett, I'm really happy you took that leap; yuou recap did not disappoint!

I agree with Novelera; watching the episodes days after the recaps have been posted and trying to comment about them is quite difficult. Everything that I would have wanted to say about the episodes just seems useless to share since the discussions have moved on to the most currect episode, but I do want the recappers and those who comment to know that I appreciate all the time and effort you put into writing and posting the recaps...and the comments, sides, information, and music links are just as noteworthy; I am ever so grateful for this patio.

I felt so bad for Miran, but he was expecting too much from Reyyan. And I agree that her arguments were valid, but Miran is sure to forge on with trying to make her change her mind.

About the farm, dondi356, I think you are right; Nasuh is the one who never wanted to go back; so I too think that whatever happened at the farm has to do with Nasuh. I just can't figure out how Azize could fit into the equation. I include her because it is so obvio that her vengeance has much more to do with Nasuh than it does with Hazar (which happens to to be based on her lies). I must agree that Nasuh agreeing to leave so meekly was a shocker, but then, come to think about it, Nashu hasn't done ANYTHING to retaliate against Azize. He is harsh and relentless with his own family, but he has done nothing against Azize who seems to be the only aggressor here.

In regards to what secret BG shared with Gonul, I too was mystified. I keep thinking of this comment BG made: "you can...give your mother the child she always wanted to have." I recall that someone threw out the crockpot theory that Sultana's son may be alive; so I too am throwing my hat in with Lucio’s theory that Azize told Gonul her brother lives.

HERCAI

DonDi another Blockbuster. This is a very good show, this one and the "Ambassador's daughter" who knew Id love turkey so much.
I love love love this show but what I really hate about it is these older people getting slapped around by this old guy who's claiming to want to protect his family and all he's really concerned about is how he looks in front of everybody else its like they're sitting up on a hill in the Big Mausoleum looking down at the little people. Him and bad grandma.

I was happy to see when Mirin had gotten her out of there but then she goes back he gets her out again she goes back he gets out again and she goes back. She's the one that wanted to leave that place but she goes back and every time she goes back she gets abused by that old goat.
I like the advice that Malik gave her she told her that maybe she can consider writing her own story. Her and Mirin. That was some good advice I hope she takes her up on it cuz they are never going to get the truth from those people. Everybody that knows what happened back then seems to be holding back or they're afraid to say anything. I mean so far the only thing that bad grandma has been able to do is threaten people, what exactly is it that she could possibly do if somebody rats are out?
Mirin is so angry but he don't know who or what to believe. He and Rey
Need to get away from all the liars
And think and talk to each other.

Theres is only one person I really like on the show and she is so sweet, lol gul. Her name sounds huh
Strange but it probly means something sweet cuz shes a sweet lil girl. And she is crazy about her big sister and big brother. She dont know about mirin yet.

Did I mention I can't stand AZIZE?
What a horrible creature she is.
Only nasuh is meaner that she is.

There are a lot of bomb shells to be revealed in this saga and I dont want to miss any of it.

Thank you Dondi. It's good to have you on both fronts, hija & hercai.

Stay safe patio.

O yeah I forgot, Hanife is azize's
Sister. Wow, did not see that comin . And she has been in that house for 27 freaking years. What the hell kind of devotion is that?
And now she wants to marry ol nasuh?
Why the hell would she want to do that to herself? She likes torture?
Or shes just insane? And what the hell is the attraction? He reminds me of that bald guy in the monopoly
Game with that turned up mustash.
I like that little guy better tho.
And he would never marry her, that
Would be a step down for him. And AZIZE could care less about her wasting her life for 27 years in that house of hell. They pay them for working there right? I'd take what money I have and leave. That's
Pitiful. I would not let my sister do that to me. Especially since everything is based on lies.

Ok now done. Thank you Dondi.

HERCAI

Carmela, whoever the therapist is these people go to they will make them rich, and the books that would be written thn made into movies.
Girl they would make a killing.
But seriously they do need therapy.
27 of years lies can really wreck a mind.
I'm surprised that mirin hasnt lost it. Between reyyon and BG. I feel so sorry for him. Hes so happy when he sees reyon. And then she rejects him for obvious reasons. He needs to forget about those lies the bad granny told him for 27 years and start seeking out the truth, grab reyyon by her hand cuz they love holding hands. I love to seein them hold hands and they need to go seeking the truth cuz they can lose their minds if they don't.
