Hercai: Amor y Venganza – Season 2 Episode #4
Part 1 of 4
Guns drawn, Azat tells Miran to mind his own business and stay away from Elif. Elif gets out of the car and she along with Reyyan try to get the boys to calm down. Azat tells Miran that Elif is his wife while Miran yells at Elif to get away from Azat. Insults are hurled as Azize arrives with her Hunky Bar body guard Mahmoud, who pulls out a gun bigger than the other three.
Azat holds the gun in one hand and Elif’s hand in the other, telling Azize that her threats mean nothing, no one is taking his wife. Elif manages to get Azat to lower the pistol and the rest do the same. Azize tells her to get in the car. Elif refuses and in a very painful and powerful discourse, she tells HAG she will go with her and do whatever she is told if HAG promises not to harm Azat or any of the Sadoglu and to give up her revenge. Azat thinks to himself, you love me that much Elif that you are willing to risk your own life?
By this time all the roaches from the Aslanbey konak are now outside in the fray but listen to Elif as she pleads with HAG to give up this revenge. She turns to Azat and thinks, I am willing to do whatever it takes because I love you so much. Reyyan tells Miran to let them live their love. Miran thinks to himself, Elif really does love Azat, how can I interfere when I have allowed my love to rule me and change my life.
Elif tells HAG, so Grandmother, is it revenge or me? Azize begins to tell Elif the story of the night her Uncle and Aunt were murdered. She cries her crocodile tears and says how he was shot in the head with his feet and hands bound, his wife, Elif’s Aunt, was lying with her clothes off her body. Hazar looks at Nasuh. Miran starts to hyperventilate (again) and tells HAG to shut up! HAG screams that she didn’t want to hurt them and shielded them from the truth, but they need to hear the whole story.
Nasuh calls out Azize and says she is a liar. Azize continues, telling Elif she needs to hear the truth about the revenge. Miran has another classic meltdown and ends up facing the stone wall like a child sent to the corner. Reyyan pats his back. Everyone, except Hanife, looks at Azize with disgust and shock at what she intentionally provoked.
Crying, HAG tells Elif that these are the things she sees every night when she goes to bed, how can Elif ask her to give up this revenge knowing that like her, they were also her children. Flat out, Azize says she will not give up her revenge. She leaves the stunned Elif and the almost comatose Miran and walks away thinking, now I know this marriage is a farce. Azat only married you to stop me. I know now that he won’t touch you or love you. Go ahead, granddaughter, live with the enemy, know that you will never be loved. Burn and became an enemy of death to the one you once loved. (Wow, is she talking about herself? Herself and Nasuh?).
As Azize leaves, the group remaining are in stunned silence, until Miran comes out of his stupor and Hazar tells him he didn’t do what HAG said to his mother. Another classic display from Mr. Meltdown with Reyyan trying to play referee. Miran walks down the street with Hazar and Reyyan following him. After some back and forth Reyyan asks Miran to consider what her father is saying to him. HAG’s lies are huge and Hazar is telling the truth. Of course the “Miran pushed me down the stairs” lie bits Hazar in the como se llama in a big way. How can I believe anything he says? spits Miran? (He has a point). Reyyan defends Hazar saying that Zehra came and told them the truth, it was her idea. This bit of news hits Hazar hard.
Hercai: Amor y Venganza – Season 2 Episode #4
Part 2 of 4
Miran says that although it was Zehra’s idea to lie, Hazar was the one who actually told the lie. He tells Reyyan that she believed her father and he tells Hazar, that he will NEVER believe him ever. He says more stuff about being an orphan and growing up without love, we know the drill, he storms off with Hazar still yelling that he didn’t do it.
Reyyan tells Hazar that she loves him and knows that he made a mistake, but one day, she will prove to Miran that he is telling the truth about not killing is parents. (let us hope that comes soon). She hugs Hazar and chases after the crazed Miran.
Miran is holding his hands over his ears, trying not to rehear the words Hazar shouted. Reyyan finally catches up to him and tries to talk him off the ledge. Miran tells her that something terrible must have really happened for HAG to leave Elif. Reyyan puts a plan in motion. Remember HAG talked about the police being at the scene? There must be records a report of some sort about the incident. Let’s find the truth and have some peace. Miran takes some deep breaths and seems to agree.
On a side street, Azize sits in her car and Firat sits in his. Both look pensive. At the Sadoglu konak, Cihan questions GT as to what Azize was talking about regarding what happened and why there is a venganza. Poor Elif sits huddled in corner (I keep hoping Azat would at least sit next to her and put a protective arm around her). Nasuh goes on his usual tirade and Yusuf tells him says that he shouldn’t allow Azize’s evil heart to flow into his. At least Yusuf has the decency to apologize to Elif when he sees the look on her face.
Elif apologizes saying she thought HAG would actually end her revenge. Grumpy GT tells her that she is never allowed to negotiate, especially with the enemy on behalf of the Sadoglu family. She is now a Sadoglu and he will announce it to the world with a large celebration. Elif looks surprised at this change of heart and finally Azat tells her to come with him. They go upstairs as Hazar arrives back after his confrontation with Miran.
Zehra askes if Hazar is okay and if he spoke with Reyyan? Nasuh tells him that he knows Reyyan believes her father regardless of what happened before. Hazar owes no one any excuses, especially not that bastard Miran. Hazar doesn’t respond to GT but tells Zehra that they should speak alone. Handan tells Cihan the same. They all leave GT on the patio alone.
In their bedroom, Handan realizes that their “brilliant” plan has completely backfired. Handan wants Azat to divorce Elif immediately and they should send Azat far away as Azize’s vengeance is not going to stop with their marriage. Cihan is not convinced that this is a good idea, he tells her he isn’t going to say anything to anyone and leaves the room. Handan swears she will take matters into her own hands. (Uh, oh).
Hazar and Zehra enter their bedroom. He is angry that she went to ReyMir and told them the truth about whose idea it was to lie that Miran pushed him down the stairs. Zehra says she did it because she didn’t want him to take the blame any longer. He gets angry and yells (like father(s) like son(s)) saying she keep that from him and he is tired of everyone keeping things from him! They used to share everything and solve problems together, what happened? Nothing has happened, says Zehra, I love and respect you. Hazar is not having it. He feels betrayed and tells her so. He can’t trust her after what she hid from him. (Ask her about the letter in her pocket Hazar).
Hercai: Amor y Venganza – Season 2 Episode #4
Part 3 of 4
Night turns to day and ReyMir exit a formal looking police HQ building. Miran remembers the conversation with the garrison commander who told him that all the records, including the building, from his parents’ incident, burned down years ago. There was nothing left as everything was still on paper, no computer back up. (This sounds very fishy to me). The commander does promise to see if the officer in charge of the scene is still around and he will pass his contact info to Miran if he is. Reyyan stops him and asks, so now what will we do? Frustrated, Miran says, I don’t know if this is just coincidence or facts, but every time we try and find the truth, we only encounter obstacles. I feel like I am going crazy.
Reyyan does some psychology 101 and reminds Miran that every time HAG goes back into the past, he turns into that 5-year-old orphan once again and it scares her. She reminds him that she is there, looking into his eyes and holding his hand, for the long haul, but he must try and stay in the adult mode and not allow HAG to pull him back to that sad, lonely 5-year-old. Miran says that he tries and really is trying (well try harder dude because you are even annoying your number one fan on this patio in this recapper!) to not go down that rabbit hole. In order for me to convince that 5-year-old boy, I need to find facts and the truth. He finally comes off his pity pot and looks at Reyyan saying, so you are still with me, by my side? Always with you, she responds as they hug and he thanks her. Miran wants to take a walk, but Reyyan wants to stop by the konak first to visit Good Grannie as she was very upset with everything going on, especially Miran’s reaction. He agrees.
Back at the Aslanbey konak everyone, including Good Grannie (GG) Sukran are waiting for news. GG prays that all is well. Gonul is pacing and Sultana tells her to stop, if there was bad news they would have heard already. Speaking of bad news, says Sultana, as Azize enters the courtyard. GG demands to know where her grandchildren are? Azize tosses her a dirty look as GG lets her have it saying that God will never forgive her evilness. Azize ignores Gonul’s questions and heads upstairs.
Gonul pleads with Firat to tell her what happened. Firat responds that it was terrible, HAG told the whole story about what happened with Dilsah after Elif asked her to give up the venganza and she would return home. Firat said it was terrible to hear HAG say no and walk away leaving Elif at the Sadoglu konak. GG just wants to know what the heck happened to her daughter? What evilness did Azize inflict on her? Gonul is stunned that HAG left Elif, her most precious grandchild in the hands of the enemy. To herself, she wonders what HAG wouldn’t do to continue the venganza? Is the story about her brother a lie? She tells Firat that they are like brother and sister. Firat says he will always have her back. He heads out in search of Miran and Reyyan.
Sukran asks Esma what Firat meant about her daughter Dilsah? What evil did Azize commit against her? What revenge was Miran going to give up on? Esma tells her that in time Miran will explain everything to her, but not to worry, no one will hurt Miran.
Hercai: Amor y Venganza – Season 2 Episode #4
Part 4 of 4
Azize is in her bedroom. She slowly removes her gloves, mink coat, head scarf, top cover up and finally pulls her turtleneck sweater over her head, leaving her standing in her Spanx bodysuit. She drops to the floor sobbing and we see her badly burned back for the second time. Talking to herself, she says she is not cruel or a murdered. Why God are you punishing me for dying and burning? Why aren’t they punished instead? You see God, you know. My flesh is not only burning, but my heart as well. You took my children, my brothers, how many more graves will I have to dig? Esma enters the room looking very concerned.
Looking to the heavens, Azize continues, what did I do to fall out of favor with you? What did I do to get burned so many times? Even Elif has left me, but it is because they don’t know, they don’t understand. You took everything from me, my mother, father, brothers, sisters, my loved ones. You separated me from the one I loved. (Is she referring to Nasuh??) Esma sobs in the corner, letting Azize cry herself out as this intense episode ends
Epi 30 part 1
I’ll get the convo started with the bullet points below….not necessarily in chronological order…..but really irritated with the sloppy cuts by the editors.
• The episodes starts with Muka finding the note Fatma left for Rahmi, explaining that she’s fled the coup because she can’t handle their living arrangements anymore. She’s gone and he shouldn’t worry about her. The scene skips to the family pondering where she could have gone on her and Muka once again blames Fatma for bringing trouble to them again. Rahmi cries, Kerim goes to the police.
• Fatma exits a bus and we see she went to her new friend Anise. While they head to Anise’s house the family is at the police station asking for help while trying not to raise alarms about the past with Rahmi’s innocent slips. Unfortunately, Muka is at home alerting the slimy lawyer Munir that she left dropping hints that Fatma not so innocent, and probably planned her escape all along. Munir is pissed to learn that the police have been resolved. He calls Keri to harass him for calling the police, demanding he leave the out of it. Too late. Munir goes about alerting the rest of the rotten ricos.
• During this visit…Anise slips on a couple of her prior lies to Fatma.....who takes note but doesn’t press. … assuming she misheard things about Anise’s family and living location…..or even how much Fatma revealed in the past.
• Leaving the police station, Ebe nine blames Kerim for forcing Fata to dance but we all know her escape instigated by the insufferable Mukkadas
• Emre drops in on the family and learns from loose lips Muka that Fatma ran away. Meanwhile Anise is still pretending to be a friend …trying to get a teary Fatma to tell her what went down. The family connects that Fatma could have called Anise to Emre gives her a call. With Fatma listening on, Anise tries to throw him off the trail, saying she’s not heard from her since he had her to call on his behalf.
• Elsewhere the ricos find out and speculate what impact it could have on the....While doing more damage control…i.e. lying since Meltem found out Fatma ran away by snooping thru Selim’s phone. The whole family participates in the lie….ultimately pretending Kerim is abusing their childhood friendship by asking for money.
•
• Meanwhile, a very distraught Rahmi tries calling Anise one again….begging for her to help with Fatma. Fatma not wanting to hurt her brother again, take the phone and tell him not to worry about her….she’s fine but she can’t breathe there. Unfortunately, Kerim grabs the phone….Fatma hangs up. Anise’s pimp had arrived and took note of Fatma and her situation. He then and suggests that Fatma can join their “business”. Anise tells him to back off.
• Eventually a very worried Kerim take off on the trail of Anise with Emre in support. Unfortunately, the find that Anise lives in a very bad part of town if she really lives there
• Muka finally pushes Kerim’s button by going on and on about Fatma’s escape and her plans for her when she returns. He wants to kill her for her yapping but Ebe Nine calms him and Muka makes a veiled threat
• With Anise gone, Fatma calls to speak with Rahmi…Muka answered the phone and starts badgering her so Kerim take the phone and pleads to come get her. She gives him a piece of her mind and brings him near tears before hanging up.
• Anise goes out for the night and Mustafa stops by with flowers. Fatma goes to the door but the hallway lights click off and she can’t see who it is and doesn’t open the door. When he leave, she retrieve the flowers and take not that Anise has a Mustafa in her life also

Many thanks, VVS, for this excellent recap. I'm glad you told Miran to get his act together because he's alienating his biggest fan on the patio. Needless to say, he's also alienating some of us who are/were less passionate fans. All I could think of during his embarrassing screams of rage is "Leave him, Reyyan! You deserve better."
And all during the scene between Hazar and Zehra, I kept thinking about the Other Thing Zehra has been keeping from him. You read my mind when you wrote "(Ask her about the letter in her pocket Hazar)." YES!!
In the conversation between Gonul and Firat, I think Gonul says, "If Azize is willing to give up Elif and Miran, what would she be willing to do to the rest of us?" I keep remembering Azize's chilling threat to Esma: "No one is indispensable."
One thing puzzled me. After Azize leaves without getting Azize to go with her, Azize thinks to herself, "Now I'm certain this is not a real marriage." What makes her say this? Simply the fact that Elif would offer to return with Azize if Azize promises to abandon her plans for venganza?
Yes, excellent recap VVS! I felt each emotion I experienced during the episode, especially where Azize was concerned. Like Juanita, I don’t know how exactly Azize came to the conclusion that it isn’t a real marriage? But at the same time, Miran realized that Elif truly loves Azat. I don’t get her reasoning. How can she know how love might turn out just because her’s turned out badly——- even though I agree with her, lol. I think, more than Azat, Azize herself, will be the death of Elif.
I wanted to CHOKE Miran! He’s turning his overblown anger into an infant crying fest, and it turns me off with each tantrum that he has! Reyyan has to get sick of this at some point? He needs an ultimatum! Honestly, Reyyan constantly running after him is getting on my nerves too! Let him alone with his raging and sulking! It’s sooooooo annoying! I also wanted to pluck my eyebrows out with my bare hands when Azize went into her crying wolf story! Here we go again, I thought! Somebody punch her in the mouth!
Ok…..I totally felt bad for Azize. She had a real “JOB” moment and her anger seems moreso against God and the hand that’s been dealt her. Aside from the revenge, I felt real pity for her.
Zehra continues to disappoint. Her moment to tell the whole truth came and went. I think when Hazar finds out the latest that she’s kept from him, it will be the end of their marriage.
And dondi356, you were completely right about Handan. Opportunist that she is! How can she not feel any compassion for Elif knowing what she know? Selfish hearted B! How in the world did she have a son like Azat????
Thank you Nett! For starting the discussion and for filling in the cuts.
Those cuts have got to have been horrible! Just based on how choppy it was in the beginning!! So frustrating I always wonder what is missing.
I didn't understand why Munir called Selim and Erogon first thing in the morning. One, what can they do about it? Two, his whole operating system is to take control himself and manipulate everyone else. It seemed out of character that he would consult the kids.
I am glad Fatma found out sooner than later about Asu - that was a dangerous situation for many many reasons but now she is alone in the city again...
Muka - nothing shuts her up! Zero class, zero consideration!! It's relentless. I have known some pretty insensitive people in my life but even they could shut their mouths in crisis.
Meryem blaming Kerim was harsh but understandable under the circumstances.
Thank you for the early comments Juanita and carmella! The whole episode I kept thinking, oh the Patio is saying: "Leave him, Reyyan! You deserve better." (Thank you Juanita) or as you put it so cleverly carmella: “I wanted to CHOKE Miran!” and “the plucking my eyebrows with my bare hands” made me laugh this early in the morning.
Juanita, I appreciate you clarifying what Gonul said to Firat. I only had time to watch the Telemundo version, so you got my best guess in that conversation.
Both of you bring up a great point about how Azize just knows that the marriage is a farce. I guess I assumed that since Elif was so quick to put the “give up the revenge” on the table Azize just figured it out. Even Azat tried to keep Elif from saying anything.
There were a lot of references in the episode about Azize being burned and left for dead or actually dying. Even Miran thought that she couldn’t be lying because she left Elif for her venganza. There is definitely something much deeper that happened to Azize. Her personal meltdown was quite a scene. I hope we learn more tonight about her past.
Nett, thank you for recapping all the drama of runaway Fatmagul.
I was surprised that fatmagul was brave enough to take off like that to someone she had only met once . She and Anise spent the day touring the city together with Emre and Kerim , but she really didn't know her. Then, Fatma found out that she REALLY, really didn't know her and neither did Kerim and Emre. It was interesting watching those two guys tiptoeing around that shady part of the big bad city and lurking at the brothel door.
Kerim hasn't known Emre long, but he has proven to be a loyal friend .
Muk is unbelievable . She takes such delight in painting Fatma as a bad girl .She loves to stir the pot and make everything worse as she is telling everybody what to do, think, say .
Remember telenovelas before cellphones ? These people are always calling someone .
At the police station , Kerim is uncomfortable when he tells the cop that he noticed Fatmagul was missing in the morning , and the cop asks him if he didn't notice that she had gotten out of bed. Then , the cop asks for a photo of Fatma, but he doesn't have one . Rami does. The cop brings up their problems with the Yaserans. I think this cop is Emre's friend .He tells them that it is too soon to declare her a missing person.
Yep the police station scene was very awkward because of Rahmia manchild behavior and Kerims lack of certain info regarding Fatma....coupled with their guarded responses. Yes....Emre has a friend at the station.

Thanks for the recap, Nett!
Welcome to the big city, Fatmagül!
Cut scenes continue to be an issue.
Cut: Mustafa’s parents, particularly his awful mother are very curious about this “new girl” in their son’s life. They should know what she does for a living.
They cut the beginning of Meryem and Muka in the kitchen. Muka comes in complaining, who knows where our little miss is strolling around while we are worried. Meryem tells her, yeter, kadın, yeter! (enough woman, enough) Keep your mouth shut at least for now. All this wouldn’t have happened if you looked after her. If you gave her a hand from the beginning, this bad fate wouldn’t have found her. Muka started to get up, but Meryem pushed her back down on the chair! Was it so hard to take care of her? You stomped on her! Meryem pushed Muka down in her seat a second time.
Muka is so awful when she tells Meryem, you should pray for me everyday instead of giving me headaches. If it wasn’t for me, your son would be in the grave or prison.
I didn’t like Meryem blaming Kerim for Fatma running away. I’m glad she later admitted she encouraged him with Fatma. I’m laying the blame for Fatma’s escape on Muka.
Cut: Selim lets Meltem have it in front of the others because she secretly met with Kerim.
Cut: Muka calls Munir to let him know they found Fatma. They worry that Fatma might blab to her “friend”.
Cut: Sami mentions to Asu for a second time about getting Fatma into the business. Asu says don’t give her to Bilal Abi, I’ll smash you if you do. (That’s the guy they always talk about having to pay.) Vural deposited the money he owes into Asu’s account and Asu sends Sami out to withdraw it.
Cut: Meltem cries to her cousin that Munir dropped that Kerim bomb at the table on purpose. Gaye says it’s her own fault. She shouldn’t have been spying on Selim. (she should be running from Selim!) Meltem says don’t let my parents know. Gaye says only if you don’t let Selim scold you in front of others again.
Cut: Resat wonders if this is some new plot by Mukaddes to extort them.
I can’t stand the landlady. She advises that Fatma should be punished! What a nosy witch!
Lol… I loved it when Kerim shouted at Muka, I’ll kill you!
They cut some of the scene with Fatma watching Asu get dressed for the evening. Fatma noticed a painting with a woman’s exposed breast. Rahmi tried calling again but Asu shut her phone.
I thought that convo between Erdo and Vural was very interesting. Erdo had a pang of conscience. “We ruined that girl’s life, we are monsters.” Then Erdo, not wanting to be alone, calls Mustafa to join him. Desperate.
I can’t believe they cut the entire convo between Erdo and Mustafa. Erdo spoke about losing his father. You don’t appreciate until you lose someone. How life can change in a day. It matures you. Mustafa says he understands. Then Erdo asks if he ever lost anyone. Yes. An older person, Erdo asks. No, someone young, Mustafa replies, but she didn’t die. She lives, but not for me. I buried her and all the memories as if they never existed. Erdo says it isn’t entirely gone if you can remember and talk about it.
Cut: Kerim on his bed thinking about that dance with Fatma. He cries.
Fatma doesn’t recognize “her Mustafa’s” handwriting?
Lol… Kerim shouts at Erdo, “I’ll kill you!” Do we start a drinking game for this?
dondi356
Great recap VVS. Thank you. Loved your snarky comments.
I think I need to put Miran on mute. Not only can’t I take his screaming, but I can’t stand that pufferfish thing he does when he hyperventilates.
Hazar’s lie is nothing compared to your Bad Grannie’s, Miran. Get over it.
Yes, this: “He can’t trust her [Zehra] after what she hid from him. (Ask her about the letter in her pocket Hazar)” Please let Dilsah be alive.
Very interesting, Carmella, Azize, will be the death of Elif.
I guess Azize has a good BS detector. Or maybe it’s not so hard to tell. Azat has said/shouted to others that Elif is his lawful wife, but has he ever said/shouted to anyone that he loves her? He’s not a good liar.
dondi356
Dondi, yes, we could have a drinking game , and take a drink every time someone ( usually Kerim or Mustafa) yells " I will kill you . " I also heard a lot of this in "La Hija." I think you hear it even more in the Turkish dizis than in the Mexican tns.
Great to have you back commenting Nina and thanks for reminding me that Good Grannie did say her hubby was a yeller too. Miran has inherited the meltdown screams it seems from all sides. It was hard not to feel a bit sorry for HAG, but like you, I just don’t buy it. I also hope that Dilsah is alive! It has been one of the Patio crockpot theories for a while.
dondi356, Miran does have a pufferfish look to his hysterics. Looks like we all want Dilsah to be alive. I am still in awe that you are watching, commenting and recapping two dizis (not to mention the 3 others you are watching for fun!) thank you for taking the time to comment this evening.
Thx for hitting all the cuts Dondi. There were so many I couldn't keep up. I'm hating their editing almost as much as I hate Mukaddas.....and that's a lot! Horrible thing they're doing.....it's impacting context and motive formation.

Hercai2: #5 - p 1 of 3
As the episode starts, we see Azize, still miserable from the previous episode. "Why, Lord? One day, they'll know the reason for my pain. Make that day come soon, God." Esma has been in the room the whole time. Finally, she comes over to Azize and hesitantly puts her hand on Azize's scarred shoulder and back. I thought Azize might snap at Esma, but instead she sobs, "Esma, I'm not a bad person." [You had me fooled, Azize] "I'm just the loneliest person in the world." [Gee, I wonder why.] Esma assures her she's not alone, she has Esma. But, continues Esma, "You have to give up your venganza." Azize replies, "You know what I've been through. I've wronged you the most. I threatened you once, made you an enemy. Try to understand me, Esma."
As Bad Granny Azize is having a pity party, Good Granny Sukran is worrying about Miran and Reyyan. She prays that they come through the door. Bingo! In they come. Miran is remembering Azize's account of his parents' deaths. He hugs Sukran and tells her she smells like his mother. Sukran replies that he does, too. She asks him what happened, and why it is that Azize wants revenge. Miran replies that he'll tell her at the right time. He needs more time. He asks her to come with them, but she says she's tired and wants to rest. She adds that just seeing them safe and sound is enough for her. "Whatever happens, stay together," she urges. Miran says he's grateful for having her here with him.
Harun, Yaren's psychopath bridegroom-to-be arrives at the Sadoglu konak. Yaren is disconcerted. "Why is he here?" she wonders. He greets her parents. Suddenly Melike comes running in. She takes one look at Harun and seems to instantly adore him. She finally remembers that she came to say that Nasuh has summoned everyone.
We next see everyone gathered around Nasuh, who announces that he's decided that they should have a big wedding to celebrate Azat's marriage to Elif. Everyone in Midyat should be invited. Azat says that Elif and he do not want a celebration. Nasuh won't accept that. "You got married. We'll have a celebration." Azat gets up to leave the meeting and asks Elif to come with him. After Azat and Elif have left, Handan approaches Nasuh and suggests they should wait until spring, when the weather is warmer. Nasuh informs her that he has made his decision. They will have the celebration very soon at the country house. They will sacrifice animals (!) and invite the entire town. He advises Handan to talk with Azat. Nasuh doesn't want him making a scene or embarrassing him.
Handan talks with Elif. Elif says that they don't have a happy story to celebrate. Handan says that it seem clear that marriage isn't going to solve the problem. Perhaps the best thing under the circumstances would be to get a divorce. Azat overhears what Handan has said and is furious with her.
Handan reports to Cihan that "Merciful Azat" isn't willing to get rid of Elif. Cihan replies, "Stop this! She's our daughter-in-law! I'm here to protect you. Azize will not touch our son. Trust me." He leaves, and Handan says to herself, "No, that's not how we'll do it. I won't toss my son into Azize's clutches."
The scene shifts to Azize. Her phone rings. Hanife is calling to let her know that the wedding celebration will be held at the country house. The phone call ends, and Azize comments, "You'll have my granddaughter wear a wedding dress in the same place where I died."
Hercai2: #5 - p 2 of 3
Miran and Reyyan are walking in the town. Miran looks with great interest at a swing for little children. He tells Reyyan that he used to come here when he was little. At times they'd find a way for Elif to come too. They weren't supposed to come there, but Esma brought them. We see several children sitting in the swings as the mechanism revolves. One of the children is Gul. She's clearly enjoying herself. When ReyMir ask her to come with them, she says no, she'd rather stay on the swings. "OK, we're leaving now, Gul." Gul replies, "OK, bye." I think ReyMir give money to the man in charge of the swing so that he'll let the kids ride for as long as they'd like.
Azat brings Elif to the Sadoglu country house. Though Elif looks miserable, she says that the house doesn't know suffering or pain. Azat tells her he thinks that wasn't always the case. "There was a terrible fire here many years ago. My grandfather wasn't fond of this place, but when your abuela took our mansion, we lived here. I brought you here to escape the pressure of the mansion, but if you want to leave, we don't have to stay." No, Elif assures him, it's fine. It's quiet. Azat then brings up what his mother said to her. "It's true that we did it to protect our families, but it seems that didn't work. If you want to do what my mother said and end the marriage...." Elif replies, "If you think we should." "No," says Azat, "I only care about what you think." Elif asks, "Can we talk about it later? I know there are preparations for the wedding...." Azat agrees to talk later. Elif thinks to herself, "How can I leave you when I love you so much? But I don't know how I can stay, either."
Azat decides to call Reyyan. Elif may be more open and willing to talk to Reyyan than to him. Reyyan agrees. Miran insists on coming with her. As soon as they arrive, Miran is even more insufferable than usual. He greets Azat by saying "You couldn't protect her!" Elif hears him and is fed up. [And so am I!] Finally, Elif and Reyyan go off to a different room to talk. Elif says, "Azat is waiting for me to make the choice. I know he can't say it and he wants me to." Reyyan asks her how she feels. Elif bursts out, "I love him so much! It would be selfish of me to tie him down when he feels nothing for me. I hate it that I love him so much!" She cries, and she and Reyyan embrace.
Not surprisingly, while Elif and Reyyan are talking, Azat and Miran are snapping at each other. Azat tells Miran, "You only see things from your twisted perspective. You hurt my family, but I've never done anything to you." Miran replies, "You took revenge on me for Reyyan. She loves me!" Azat replies, "Yes, she loves someone who has been fooled by his grandmother's lies. Elif and I were trying to fix the damage you did. You hurt Reyyan, but I will never hurt Elif." Miran then claims, "You don't love Elif. You married her to get back at me!" Elif and Reyyan rush into the room to separate Miran and Azat, who are coming to blows. Elif is fed up with Miran's egomaniacal pigheadedness, and so am I. Elif urges Miran not to become like their grandmother. In what in retrospect is an especially eerie statement, Elif says, "Fire consumes everything it touches. It's burning my heart. I despise the hatred that flows through abuela's veins. I don't understand her hurting people to alleviate her pain. Why should we have to pay for what happened years ago? Do you think my uncle or Aunt Dilsah would want to see what we'v become, consumed by hate?" Miran tells her, "Things aren't that simple." "They are, Miran," Elif replies.
Hercai2: #5 - p 3 of 3
Azize is sitting in the dark. "It's time to pay up." She calls Mahmoud and asks, "Is everything prepared?" Yes, he replies. She comes down and gets into the car. Mahmoud is driving. This time, no one else seems to be involved. Azize thinks, "They call me cruel, but I'm not. I was just a child. I remember everything. What was done to me and what I did."
The scene switches to Nasuh, who is having a flashback. We see a young, handsome Nasuh with a lovely young woman, who I'm guessing is Azize. She asks him "Will we have our wedding here? Where we met? The country house will be the best for me. Nasuh kisses her hand.
Back to Azize in the present. She thinks, "You've forgotten what you did to me. I will make you pay. I will take everything you love. I'm coming for my granddaughter and revenge."
Perhaps Elif's conversation with Reyyan has helped her to make a decision. She says, "Our marriage solved nothing. It didn't protect our families. Thus, it's best if we end it. Azat says, I don't want Elif to be unhappy." Miran says, "I don't want Elif to be sad and I don't want to leave her with him. Let's go, Elif." "I'm not going with you, Miran," replies Elif. Azat tells Miran "You can't tell Elif what to do. And we're not done talking." Miran says he doesn't care what they decide, Elif is coming with him. He grabs her by the arm and starts pulling her. Azat is holding her back. Reyyan gets up, closes the door, and smashes the handle, which falls off. "Sit down, all of you. No one is leaving until we resolve this," she declares. "This is a marriage, not a game."
Suddenly the lights go out. Azat says this happens sometimes, he'll get a candle. But then something crashes through the window and bursts into flame. Almost immediately, there's fire everywhere. Miran says, "Azat, move the sofa. Help me." Both Azat and Miran are yelling "Elif! Elif!" as the episode ends.
Thank you for your recap Juanita. Straight to the point and “right on point” comments! “ egomaniacal pigheadedness!” I couldn’t have described Miran any better! He’s EXHAUSTING! Sometimes I don’t even think it’s about Azize with him! I think he truly believes that because he believes that he’s been wronged, his past lies, and the hurt that he’s caused, makes his behavior okay. Even if Azat doesn’t love Elif, he treats her well——anyone with eyes can see that. Just like Azize, though, Miran is always the first to pick a fight, even without giving a second thought to Elif’s pleadings. He’s truly a jerk!
Handan needs to check herself. She absolutely has no trust in Cihan to handle things, even though Cihan’s come a long way in the strength dept. Let Cihan take care of his family Handan! Just freakin enjoy your pregnancy for ice cream and pickles sake!! Azize’s little house of lies is about to come crumbling down anyway. Somebody has got to challenge her soon cause this repetitiveness gets old and is getting older with each episode!
Look at Elif though. She knows Azat doesn’t love her, and she’s willing to let him go. All he has to do is say so. That’s why I think it’ll be Azize’s revenge lust that will do the most harm to Elif, not the fact that Azat doesn’t love her. And for the first time last night, I felt that Azat could grow to love her. Unfortunately HAG ain’t gonna let it happen, no way, no how.
Also for the first time last time, I now truly believe that Azize is Ayse. Those big brown eyes on that girl are Azize’s in love. Young Nasuh still looked to old for her, imo, lol, but clearly that girl was the love of his life….sad……
Give us more GUL! These people are DOWNERS!!!!
Thank you again Juanita, much appreciated!
Excellent recap Juanita! I appreciate the detail in the conversations. Miran went from screaming to being angry bangs “Me”-ran (thank you dondi356) again. How ridiculous that he actually thinks Azat married Elif to get back at him.
There were two scenes Telemundo cut that keeps me in the Miran corner. The first was a very extended scene with the swing and the kids. There was a beautiful Turkish song playing as Reyyan called Melike to bring Gul to play. Gul was so excited. Miran is great with Gul and she just adores him. Melike and the bodyguard Miran asked to relieve him from cranking the swing, were eye flirting and Gul was quick to catch on and give Melike some cute looks. No words are spoken, but the music and the joy helped to temper the tantrums later in the episode. Like Elif said, away from Azize, everyone is much happier.
The second scene cut was of Miran and Azat waiting in the CH kitchen while Reyyan and Elif spoke and was actually the cause of the second fight between the two of them. A frustrated Azat decides to try and make tea. He pours almost the entire container of tea leaves straight into the tea pot without any filter. Miran sarcastically tells him what are you doing? Trying to make tea, says Azat. You think this is a good time to make tea? snaps Miran. You aren’t even doing it right! Well I have never made tea in my life! Miran grabs the tea pot and empties half the tea leaves adding water to the pot. Azat tells him, well even I know that isn’t how you make tea. Miran slams the pot into the sink and the fight we saw ensues. It was actually funny seeing these two entitled men not know how to make a cup of tea.
I completely agree with you carmella, Azize is Ayse. She and Nasuh seem to have a very serious past. I guess Ayse had to have major plastic surgery after the fire to change so much that Nasuh doesn’t recognize her. Not sure why she isn’t scarred more though, especially on her face. Is it possible that Azize plans to kill Azat and Elif with that fire at the CH?
I just love the clothes Reyyan is wearing these days. That white jacket with the white go-go boots was nice but last night, the teal-colored jacket and the mauve half boots were gorgeous. Thank you Juanita! I missed reading your recaps!
The Almost ceremonial part That tea plays in different cultures is interesting .
I used to have my students write a composition about a favorite possession for grammar\writing class. I had a young Turkish guy who wrote about the teapot that his parents gave him . He even drew a picture if it . It was one of those two tiered pots. Tea seems to be an important part of Turkish culture . Even here , we often make a cup of tea for someone who is upset or feeling ill.
Thank you VVS for those missing parts. Miran is at his absolute best when he’s with Gul and it’s just him and Reyyan one on one. Was that the beginning of a bonding moment between Miran and Azat with the tea!!!! Hope so! I’m excited at the possibility that these two cousins will form a bromance! Thanks so much for those tidbits!
Thank you, Juanita.
Handan now realizes what mess she got Azat in. And for what? Was there any benefit in marrying Elif? I don't see any, other than poke Azize.

For Miran, Gul is like a mood enhancer and Azat brings on allergies.
Miran was so annoying in the country house. I wish Reyyan didn't let him come along.
Thanks, VSS for describing the two MIran scenes. Yes, it was funny how Azat and Miran had no clue about how to make tea. Susanlynn, about tea, Turkey is the number one tea drinking country.
Thanks very much, carmella, VVS, Susanlynn, and Lucio, for your very interesting and perceptive comments. Carmella, I loved your words to Handan: "Just freakin enjoy your pregnancy for ice cream and pickles sake!!" I confess that I've been hoping all along that Azat will eventually come to love Elif. I hope you're wrong about HAG's not letting that happen. I'm sure she'll TRY to prevent it from happening, but I'm still holding out hope that she won't succeed. I also enjoyed your suggestion that the tea-making scene might mark the start of a bonding between Azat and Miran. I had a momentary similar thought at the very end of the episode, where Miran asks for Azat's help in escaping from the fiery room.
VVS, thanks so much for providing info about the scenes Telemundo cut. I can think of lots of scenes they included that would have been better candidates for being cut. Sigh. I was especially interested to learn that Melike also flirted with the bodyguard in one of the cut scenes. Apparently she'll flirt with just about any half-way decent-looking guy (even if, like Huran, he may turn out to be anything but decent). And thanks, too, to you and dondi356, for "Me-ran"! He was certainly in evidence in last-night's episode!
Susanlynn, thanks for your interesting remarks about tea, both in Turkey and here. And I love hearing about the varied students you've taught.
Lucio, thanks for the info about the Merry-go-round song. And yes, I too was fed up with Me-ran in the country house scene. As for tea-drinking, having now watched several dizis, I'm not surprised that Turkey is the number one tea-drinking country. I wonder whether they drink it with an enhanced appreciation for its aroma. I say that because there's so much emphasis in these dizis on how people smell (e.g., last night, when Miran remarks to Sukran that she smells like his mother, and she replies that he does, too.).
You sure learned a lot from your students with those interesting assignments Susanlynn. Those teapots are like double-boilers, some look very old.
Lucio, thank you for sharing the Merry-go-round song and scene. I can’t wait until ReyMir start to horseback ride again. We need a good gallop in the countryside as I assume they both survive the fire. “Gul is like a mood enhancer and Azat like allergies” very funny!
Juanita, what is up with Melike flirting with Harun? The bodyguard I can understand, he actually initiated the flirtatious look with her. I find Harun very intriguing.
carmella, the tea making incident actually caused the fight between the primos, so no bromance. I don’t think these two will ever mix well.
Hi Steve. No, I didn't find this TN even remotely interesting so I am not watching. I hope you are enjoying it!
Season 2, Epi 6
Part 1
We pick up where we left off ….with the 2 young couples trapped in the burning house because Reyan though it would be a good idea to break off the door handle to force a conversation among Elife/Azat/ReyMir. How could she have known someone would throw a fireball thru the window. The couple scurry around trying to get away from the fire, break out a window and yell for each other as the room gets dark and smoky. Elif appears to be trapped against a wall but Azat is knocked to the floor by a falling post as he contemplates how to save her. Miran calls out for Elif and Reyan….not realizing Reyan has succumbed to the smoke.
We see outside that it was Azizi behind the fire. It’s not immediately clear that she knew the couples were in the house but it’s clear she had the house fire bombed to thwart Nasuh’s happiness and plans for Azat/Elif wedding. She exits the car to take a closer look at the burning house stating to the absent Nasuf that he would not be able to trample her tomb the way he did her life. She hopes the fire reminds him of the past… and returns to the car with Mahmut.
Back inside the inferno Miran and Elif continue to call out for their loved ones…Miran finally spots Reyan and the floor….with Elif crying in the background for help. He tells Elif to stay where she is until he’s able to force an opening. He picks of Reyan and carries her to safety with Elif in tow begging him to help Azat. She attempts to run back inside for Azat herself but Miran stops her and goes instead. While Elif tends to Reyan, Miran goes back inside the inferno where more posts are falling. He’s able to awaken Azat and help him escape. Elif phones for help.
Back at the Aslanbey kitchen dining with his mother, Firat gets the alarming call about the fire. He rushes off without giving Esma the details. The Sadoglus receive the news as well. Having left the scene, Azizi receives the news and realizes the house she had fire bombed was not only occupied but her precious Elif was there. Meanwhile, the 2 couples are safe and tend to each other with Reyan needing mouth to mouth resuscitation.
First responders and the respective families have made it to the scene. Aid is rendered, statements given. Miran surveys everyone…and shakes his head , appearing to come to a decision of some sort for himself. Hazar walks over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder asking if he’s OK. He doesn’t reproach him in his normal angry way…just nods OK. Hazar declares he’s indebted to him again then Miran reverts to his angry ego and reminds Hazar he still has to pay for what he did to his parents. The near death experience didn’t affect him as much as we thought. Reyan comes over and breaks up the tension….but Nasuf and Azizi stare each down.
Nasuf yells out Azizi’s name but she deflects using Elif as an excuse not to engage but Nasuf presses on stating that she was the one behind the fire…to stop the wedding. Of course she denies it and attempts to leave with Elif. Azat goes over to take Elif’s hand telling Azizi she can take her clan with her….Elif stays with him. Cihan ushers Elif away back to the Sadoglu huddle. Azat attempts to thank Miran, but Miran says he would have done the same. Azat states that everyone present would have tried to save another, expect for Azizi, adding that Miran shouldn’t forget that. Miran tells him he shouldn’t forget that he will pay for any pain he causes Elif. The 2 men continue their standoff ….and part ways.

Part 2
Apparently, the Aslanbey roaches where locked inside the mansion per Firat’s orders. The woman pace the court yard, anxious for news and finally they hear the auto pull up. Everyone is happy to their loved ones but want to know what happened. Gonul questions how the fire started and Azizi starts immediately with the lie that Nasuf was behind it. She attempts to sway Reyan with the lie as well but Reyan pushes back saying she know her family would never do something like that….especially knowing the couples were inside. Azizi spits more lies and accusations blaming Azat. Miran has the good sense to question why Azat would put himself at risk. He’s a lunatic says Azizi. She then turns her attention to Reyan, telling her she is now Aslanbey they are her priorities…not the Sadoglus…who are their enemy. Reyan asks what about Elif. That doesn’t count per Azizi, Elif was tricked. Miran has had enough….Firat tries to calm him.
Miran has decided that ReyMir will go to a hotel for the night. Seeing all that has transpired that night, Sukran is OK with them leaving…she will be fine. Gonul and Firat question the safety of them leaving the mansion, not knowing who caused the fire. Miran declares that if anything endangers them, it’s the words of his granny Azizi. When ReyMir leave, Azizi threatens Sultana, now that she knows it was her who helped put Elif in the arms of Azat.
Back in her room, Azizi makes a call and then chastises herself for the grave error she made regarding the fire. She almost killed her precious Elif, asking God’s forgiveness. She is still determined that Elif will not stay with her enemy. When Mahmut enters her room, she slaps him across the face, blaming him for setting the fire. He was just following orders and assumed that Azizi knew Elif was in that house. She tells him he’s going to pay for the error and send him away. With Mahmut gone, she makes more hateful statements and declarations meant for a non present Nasuf.
Back at the burned out site, Nasuf and his trusted friend take in the scene. A tearful Nasuf grabs a handful of dirt and ponders why he can’t have peace on those lands. He cries …then leaves.
Back at home the rest of the Sadoglu clan are gathered in the parlor, discussing who could be behind the fire. Azat is clueless…..but Hadan is certain it was done because of the wedding announcement asking the obvious question… who is the one person who wouldn’t want to see the wedding happen. Azat tries to call her off but she goes on blaming Elif for bringing them new problems. While the family go back and forth, Yaran tries to get her novio, Huran to leave. He tells her to back off, she needs to accept him as a member of the family. Although Handan is on to something, it’s obvious to Cihan and Hazar that Azizi wouldn’t start a fire knowing her grandkids would be in danger. Handan continues that maybe Azizi did it to blame the Sadoglus….but the guys shut her down….so Yaren pipes in supporting her.
Nasuf arrives and orders that they inform the villagers that the wedding is cancelled. Huran pipes in saying that he’s confused with what’s going on. Yaren tries to shut him up but Handan assures him that Azizi is behind it all. Yasuf sends Huran on his way to Yaren’s delight. …but Handan forces her to walk him out. When she taunts him with being thrown out by her gramps….Huran reminds her he’s not to be played with and she will pay. She tells him he is not her boss, she is the great Yaren Sadoglu and she will make him to pay. She tries to slap him for an insolent remark he makes but he grabs her hand and kisses it instead….telling her to prep for their own wedding

Part 3
In their hotel room, Reyan thinks to herself that the nightmare that started with her wedding will never end. Now it’s Miran’s turn to keep her focused on the present and not to return to the fears of the past. He reminds her of her own words….and then takes her to the roof top. They stop in front of a caged pigeon uses the pigeon to tell her a story of hope. He then has he to release it
Gonul is with Sultana, upset with what’s going on…not having answers. Sultana tells her it’s her fault for having signed the divorce papers for Miran. She goes on that it’s her fault for believing in Azizi and not listening to her own mother. She then drops the bomb that it was Azizi who was behind the fire….but Gonul doesn’t want to believe it. Sultana pretends to take a sleeping pill and asks Gonul to leave. With Gonul gone, we see the pill still in her hand as she thinks back to the recent threat by Azizi. She tells herself not to be afraid and appears to wait for Azizi. The epi ends with someone turning the door knob to enter her room.
The End.

Thanks very much, Nett, for this fine recap. I'm also impressed with how quickly you were able to post it.
I found the scene at the burning country house pretty scary. I knew it was still pretty early in the season, so it was unlikely that any of the four would be killed off so soon. Still, I was worried that one of them might suffer serious injury. I'm glad my fears were unfounded.
When Miran and Reyyan return to the Aslanbey mansion after the fire, Azize tries as usual to blame the fire on the Sadoglu. Miran becomes impatient with her and says she doesn't seem to realize what they've all been through and what a struggle it was to escape. And the Azize says something that astonished me. She says something like "I know, I saw you." Huh? Did she accidentally slip and admit that she was there watching the fire?
Azize really seems to be losing it. Why in the world did she slap Mahmoud and blame him for almost killing Elif and Miran? He threw the firebomb into the house, but she's the one who ordered him to do so! How can she then blame him? I wouldn't be surprised if her irrational treatment of him will wind up turning him against her.
Handan seems to be the one who comes closest to understanding who was responsible for the firebomb. She maintains it is Azize. Cihan and Hazar disagree, saying Azize would never do that because she wouldn't want to harm Elif and Miran. End of story. But Handan then says, "What if she didn't know they were there?" Her question falls on deaf ears.
I'm not sure how Azize knows that Sultana had something to do with Elif's marrying Azat. Clearly Sultana is frightened by Azize's threatening her about this. Why then does Sultana leave her door unlocked?
Questions, questions, questions -- and no answers on Thursday, when Hercai will be preempted by Jingle All the Way! Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Very good recap indeed Nett! Thank you so much! What struck me this episode were the quiet, somber demeanors and the attention paid to mental and physical bearings of the characters during and post the fire. For Miran, Reyyan, Azat and Elif, I didn’t get the fear of dying per say, but the fear of loved ones and those that they care about being hurt. I think Miran’s part in saving Azat’s life goes even deeper than he even knows, and will have more meaning to Miran once he knows that they are first cousins. I have to say, no pun intended, that Miran looked HAWT, all singed and nose burnt as he surveyed the after affects of the fire. Methinks he is totally coming to his epiphany moment.
Azize looked like the devil herself as the fire burned and was highlighted through her eyes! She is truly a tormented soul, and her continued actions solidify to me that Elif will either end up in a mental hospital or die directly because of her. Once Elif knows that Azize caused the fire that almost killed them, it will take her over the edge. It won’t matter that Azize didn’t know that they were in there. Someone, anyone, could’ve been in there like a servant/s who worked for the Sadoglus!
Gonul is going to have a stroke or heart attack if she doesn’t get away from the Aslanbey looney bin camp! All she does is pace and worry——always on edge! One of the reasons that I don’t like Sultana, and there are many, is that she should’ve gotten her daughter out of there a long time ago! She’s known FOREVAH what kind of person Azize is, yet she stays there and lets Azize threaten her and Gonul’s sanity! I don’t care what happens to Sultana, but I think Gonul, like Miran would be different people if it weren’t for Azize’s poison. I’m still hoping for Gonul and Azat, even though I want Elif’s happiness. What is wrong with these wimpy mothers like Sultana, Handan and Zehra!! Letting people threaten and do what they want to their children?!?! I would be a BADAZZ, BEHIND WHOOPING, DEMON FROM HELL if you mess with my kids! Just sayin, lol.
Thanks again Nett! Great recap!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Nett, your recap was spot on in detail and focus. Like Juanita, I marveled at how early you crafted and posted it. Thank you!
So much happened in this episode. carmella, I thought the same about Azize: “Azize looked like the devil herself as the fire burned and was highlighted through her eyes!” The cinematography is so well done. In fact, I was thinking that Telemundo should have keep Hercai on another two weeks and then end it with that scene! It would have kept us all on the edge of our seats!
Miran is a lot of things, but he isn’t afraid to take action. He begrudgingly gave Azat the all clear to be with Elif. I was so glad he took Reyyan away from Azize’s hatefulness and took care of her at the hotel. He did look rather dapper carmella, soot and all. 😊
Juanita, I was surprised that Azize took her wrath out on Mahmoud. Didn’t they see the cars in the driveway? He seems pretty programmed into the Azize collective, so I don’t think he would betray her. He was ready to put a bullet in his head earlier in the 1st season.
Sultana has her days numbered for sure. Have a great day everyone, I have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
Thanks again Nett!
Thx for yall comments. It was am interesting epi. Handan was spot on about azizi but the roaches in her house werent listening. I hate that she and yaren dont care how ucomfortable they make elif.
Juanita....I missed azizi admitting to seeing them at the fire.... But i can see folks assuming she meant the after math.
Nett
Nett, thank you for a great recap.
Yikes ...Azize , Little Obsessed Red Riding Hood , is now setting fires . That beginning had Miran yelling Reyyan! Elif! Over and over .The fire and beams falling was scary . He finally got everyone out ...Azat last .
Yes, Azize , eyes ablaze , looked like she was possessed by el diablo as the fire burned.
Thanks for the great recap VVS.

Sorry, I fell behind with work, shopping, cleaning and cooking. Thank you, Juanita and Nett for wonderful recaps. The comments are great, too. Thanks for finding the song clip, Lucio.
Seems we might be getting another big revelation soon regarding Azize and Nasuh.
Can I have one ep without Mr. Meltdown showing up?
Nina, I noticed the boots, too. I like them better on Reyyan than on Nare.
I will do the Friday recap as usual.
I am thankful I found Caray. Everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving.
