I'm reposting this message from the earlier page:

Novelera's hand is making it very hard for her to type. She will not be able to put up a recap tonight, nor will I (since I'll be out tonight). So, there will be no recap tonight unless someone else rises to the occasion. It doesn't have to be long. Even bullet-points are helpful. I hope someone will give it a try.

Amor-val #60 part 1

This is only mini cap. I have no time to review the ep or look at the Turkish. Please correct and/or fill in as necessary.

Ceshan talk. Suhan is tired of the lies and secrets. I never lied to you, Cesur says. But I have she admits. She finally drops the baby bomb: I never had the abortion. I’m still expecting our child. Cesur short circuits. He asks, you didn’t do it? I couldn’t, she replies. It sinks in. He gets teary and happy. They kiss. We must get married immediately, he tells her.

It won’t be like before, Suhan replies, there’s no need to rush. She wants to make sure he has changed, that he won’t be like her father. She wants him to be the old Cesur again. If you are willing to give up the revenge, etc., she says, that’s when we will be a family. Will you do it for us? Don’t do this, he answers, do you think this is easy? My mother’s killer is still free. How can you ask me to forget that? Suhan sticks to her condition and asks him, would you rather be a father or a murderer? It’s up to you.

Sirin drives and almost crashes into Tahsin coming in the opposite direction. They get out of their cars and Sirin goes on the attack, accusing him of killing her father. He tries denying but she tells him Suhan gave her the CD and she’s going to the DA. You’re finished Tahsin Bey!

Cesur has his own condition. From now on we will live together, and you will never be out of my sight.

Korludag Hospital calls Sirin while she’s on the way to the DA. When she gets arrives at the hospital, she meets up with Necla who tells her Reyhan is not there. Sirin wonders what is going on. She suddenly feels sick and runs to puke in the bathroom. Is it nerves or something else? Necla asks Sirin if she wants to see a doctor, but she doesn’t. Sirin calls her mother and finds out she’s at home and okay. Kemal meets Sirin at the hospital. She tells him they must go to the DA.

Hulya tells Tahsin that Ceshan are at the house. They are there getting some of Suhan’s things. Tahsin confronts them as they leave. I won’t let you go with this man, he warns Suhan. Don’t you dare leave the house! What if she does, Cesur asks. I’ll make you pay for this, Tahsin threatens. No one is forcing me, Suhan responds, you finally lost your daughter.

Sirin and Kemal meet with the DA and hand over the CD. The DA says he’s already seen this. It’s a copy of Salih testing the cage. Sirin is stunned. She explains she had the CD that showed Tahsin killing her father. Sirin leaves and can’t understand what happened.

We get the flashback. Tahsin makes a call to Riza. Riza asks Turan to call Necla for help. Riza asks a hotel employee to make the call to Sirin about her mother. Riza and Turan arrive at the hospital. We see Necla dose Sirin’s water. Necla holds Sirin’s bag while she pukes and makes the CD switch.

Cesur welcomes Suhan and the little one to the Alemdaroglu farm. Suhan reminds him this is a trial period. Cesur assures her he will pass the test. Sirin and Kemal arrive home. Suhan asks if she gave the CD to the DA. I couldn’t, Sirin answers.

Sirin is upset with herself that she told Tahsin she was going to the DA. Cesur is upset with himself that he didn’t make a copy of the CD. Sirin thinks that Necla was the only one who could have made the switch. Cesur wants to talk to Necla. But Kemal says they already did. We get a flashback of Sirin questioning Necla, who gets offended and defensive. The questioning stops.

amor-val #60 part 2

Riza shows up at casa Korludag and Tahsin is not happy to see him. Riza is there to call in the favor he just did. Hulya listens in as Riza asks if Tahsin has seen Adalet. And of course, he hasn’t. Tahsin asks Riza to get to the point of his visit. Riza wants the estate! Tahsin blows up. Riza brings up the incurable illness saying Tahsin doesn’t have much time left. Tahsin is shocked he knows. Tahsin admits he made up the story about the illness so Suhan would stay with him. Hulya gets an earful.

Suhan tells Korhan about what Tahsin did. Cesur asks Suhan if she has given her brother the good news about the baby. Korhan is thrilled.

Bedtime. Cesur is ready to go sleep on the couch. But Suhan allows him to stay. She cautions that all they will do is sleep. He gets in bed and immediately cuddles up. She pushes him away and says maybe he should go sleep on the couch. Cesur tells her he will behave. But he adds, don’t I deserve a reward?

Mihriban and Banu meet. Bulent is the topic of conversation. She tells Banu that no matter how angry she is, Bulent is still her son and she loves him. She blames herself for not marrying and giving Bulent a father. Mothers tend to blame themselves for their children’s actions. Banu says that she understands but Mihri shouldn’t blame herself.

Mihri knows that Banu loves Bulent and knows he asked Banu to marry him. She gives Banu advice. Being a mother doesn’t mean you are condemned to being alone. Don’t deny yourself a second chance at happiness because of your son. Bulent is a good man even though he has made mistakes. Banu admits that she was planning to accept Bulent’s proposal. Mihri is overjoyed and the women hug.

Cahide come to Cesur’s house. No answer at the door so she walks around the property and over hears Sirin and Kemal talking about Tahsin killing Salih. Cahide plays it like she just arrived and asks if Cesur is home. He’s out with Suhan and Cahide leaves.

Riza is not happy about Ceshan reconciling. He’s also a bit annoyed that Tahsin keeps calling Adalet’s phone. Riza sends a text from “Adalet” assuring Tahsin she is okay. She’s just hiding and will contact him again when it’s safe.

Cahide immediately runs to Korhan with what she overheard. Korhan warns her to keep her mouth shut. She says she wouldn’t do anything to hurt the family.

Serhat comes to visit Tahsin. Some loose ends have caught his attention and he has more questions about Salih’s murder. Tahsin claims he can’t remember much anymore. All Tahsin cares about is finding Adalet safe and sound. He asks Serhat if it’s possible something happened to her. Serhat says they are continuing to investigate. After he leaves, Tahsin tries calling Adalet again.

Hulya calls Cahide. She wants to know if Cahide snitched on Bulent. Cahide doesn’t explain what happened, she says she has something else in mind. There’s a flashback of Hulya showing Cahide the flash drive with the Bulent evidence. I don’t remember exactly what that was about, and I don’t have time go back and look. Maybe someone can fill this in. Anyway, Cahide says she wants to bring the evidence to Cesur.

I guess Turan and Riza have followed Ceshan. They stop in front of a OBGYN office and Riza concludes that Suhan is pregnant.

Suhan gets a sonogram, and they see the baby. Everything looks good. They hear the heartbeat. I’m the happiest man in the world, Cesur declares. I don’t have the words to tell you how much I love you.

Tahisn asks Bulent what’s going on between him and Cahide. Why doesn’t she trust you?

And we are out.

Amor Val

Dondi, thank you so much. Since I don't understand the dialogue, I can only makes guesses about what is transpiring. For example, in the beginning scene with Cesar and Suhan, he kept looking at her tummy and then broke out in the biggest grin . (The list of the wonderfulness of Cesar\Thor just gets longer.... He has a dimple just above the beard line...You're welcome)

I love whenever Hulygan pops up like whack-a-mole as she eavesdrops and lights up everytime a tasty secret is revealed to her. So funny.

Then, Cahide lurks and catches Kemel and Sirin talking , so I figured she heard that Tahsin was responsible for Saleh 's death .

I guessed Sirin rushed to the hospiÞtal because she got a call about her mother. When she got sick, I thought she was pregnant , and I never suspected Necla had put something into her water. Hey, since when has Necla become a minion of Riza ? Were scenes explaining this cut out ? First , she helps Adalet escape jail, and now she is working with Riza and dim bulb Tur. ...????? QTH???

I heard Riza say " hacienda" to The and deduced that he was asking The for his mansion. Wow ..this guy has grown some avocados ( reference: Univision " Herencia" which takes p!ace on an avocado ranch )

They replayed Cesar charging into Riza at the start and end of this episode #freighttrain #practicalphysicsforgalans

Amor val

When I saw Mir and Banu having lunch , I guessed they were talking about Boo and Ban. I also heard " hijo" and thought we finally had a reference to Banu's invisible son. I didn't realize that Ban told Mir that she accepted Boo's proposal.

amor-val

Thanks VERY much, dondi356, for coming to the rescue with a terrific recap. I don't have much to add. Wow, Necla, who seemed so nice at the start, must be really in love with Turd Turan. I assumed that Sirin was pregnant when she threw up and was dizzy, but for once the infallible dizi symptoms mean something else. It continues to astonish me how Riza is able to put together all kinds of schemes on a moment's notice, like getting Turan to get Necla to switch the videos. I'm not clear about how they got the other video, the one Suhan stole from Riza's hotel room. That's the one Necla put in Sirin's pocketbook in place of the one with Salih. I assume that the phone call to Sirin to come to the hospital was made so that someone could search Cesur's house for the other video, but I don't recall who had it. Was it Cesur? That whole plan seems a bit much to have been concocted in seconds.

If I'm not mistaken, Sirin actually spit at Tahsin at the end of their encounter on the road.

I laughed when Hulya tells Riza that he should call TK "Señor Tahsin."

I was disappointed in Mihriban when she describes her son as a "good man" in spite of all the nasty things he has done. Mihriban then urges Banu to accept his marriage proposal, which apparently Banu had already decided to accept. Sigh.

It seems that both Cahide and Riza were unhappy to learn that Suhan and Cesur were together again. I'm not really sure why Cahide would care.

As for the phone call between Hulya and Cahide, Cahide wants to give the recording to Cesur because she wants revenge on Bulent, which would also give her some revenge on Tahsin for not believing what she said about Bulent. Of course, we see at the episode's end that her accusation did make an impact on Tahsin. Tahsin summons Bulent to come see him and then asks him about Cahide's claim that Bulent wanted to kill him (Tahsin) and that Bulent started the fire at Cesur's (which almost did kill Tahsin).

amor-val

Susanlynn, Necla apparently loves Turan the Turd, and when he calls and asks her to switch the videos, she's willing.

I loved #practicalphysicsforgalans!

Amor-val

Thanks, Susanlynn and Juanita. Sorry for the lack of detail in the recap.

This ep seemed very choppy. People magically transported all over the place. I’m sure they cut stuff that might have answered some of our questions, but I didn’t have time to check the original. I saw this a few years ago and I can’t remember all the details.

Yes, the call to Sirin was about her mother. In haste, I left that out. Necla is doing favors for Turan. I don’t know why she still likes him. I don’t think she knows Riza is involved.

Finally, a reference to Banu’s “invisible son”. Mihri and Banu have single motherhood in common. Juanita, I winced when Mihri said Bulent was a “good man”.

Juanita, thank you for clarifying the Hulya/Cahide convo.

They certainly love replaying that Cesur/Riza confrontation. Susanlynn, LOL: “#freighttrain #practicalphysicsforgalans”

Love the avocado references, Susanlynn. They’ve been on Telemundo patio ever since the 2020 broadcast of “La Suerte de Loli”. An avocado scam was part of the plot. Now we’ve exported those avocados to Turkish dizis. When I saw “Herencia” involved avocado farming, it made me LOL. They grow avocados in Turkey, mostly around Antalya on the Mediterranean coast.

Amor Val

Dondi, I watched my recording of Herencia( Avocados R Us) while having my lunch of a salad with avocado , tomato, and cucumber with raspberry vinaigrette dressing . This show has photos and pictures of avocados all over the place . We should have started counting them . I wonder if other shoppers ever notice me smiling as I look wistfully at the expensive avocados in my local grocery store. I ever had an avocado until I was a teen when my aunt brought one to our house and cut it into a salad . She also used to make avocado and bacon sandwiches . I once tutored a businessman from Brazil who told me that in his country they eat them in sweet dishes. I have heard that avocado on toast is popular here now .

The dizis often feature olive trees which I know are treated reverent!y in countries that grow them. I had students who talked about olive tree groves in their native countries . It's just not the same referring to someone having olives . Avocado references are more fitting it seems.

Amor Val

Juaita, yes feisty Sirins spit at Tah. I wish it had not him.

I do feel a teeny tiny bit sorry for horrible Tah as Riza uses Ada's phone to send him messages supposedly from her after he and Turdan buried her. He is an amoral, unscrupulous monster . Is he even worse than Tah? Riza's blank, soulless gaze creeps me out.

I wonder what Ross's next step will be. Will he kidnap Suhan ? Cesar's running tackle doesn't seem to have affected Riz's confidence in getting Suhan , and he isn't shy about asking for stuff. I want a hotel. I want the hacienda. I want Suhan. He seems to think that since he served 30 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit , he now deserves whatever he wants . Tah has met his match in Rotten Riz.

amor-val

Goodness dondi356, thank you so much for this recap. I didn’t even see Juanita’s post until just now, so I appreciate you filling in. Juanita and novelera have been great keeping the recaps going. The avocado reference never gets old!

The Bulent video was done when Cahide was hiding Hulya in the first safe house and had cameras installed. Bulent foolishly confessed he was the one who started the fire at Cesur’s that almost killed Tashin. Cahide used that video to get him to help her.

Dang, Necla was downright sneaky. Like the rest of you, I though Sirin was pregnant.

Speaking of pregnant, could Cesur have looked more vulnerable and happier when Sulky Suhan finally told him about the baby? He is a fine actor and fine-looking man. Of course she has to spoil everything with her constant nagging and boundaries.

Thanks again dondi356. I have missed your recaps!

amor-val

Yay! The splint is off my hand. The ortho recommended not too much typing. Because it's the left pinky, it's hard to hit shift for capital letters. Let me elaborate. I said surgery but that wasn't actually it. I have/had Dupuytren's contracture on my left pinky. This week I had an injection to do...something...to the tendon in my pinky. Then, two days later, yesterday, manipulation of the finger and the placing of a split for 24 hours. It's horribly swollen probably from the Xiaflex that was injected. Some of you are in the medical profession and maybe able to understand what I just wrote. This Dupuytren's is most common in people from Northern European ancestry. That's me. On my father's side my great, great grandfather emigrated from Germany in 1840.

I think the Turkish makeup crews must have been on strike. Cesur beats the living crap out of Riza, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and all we see is a tiny cut on his lower lip? What?

Cesur fit the galan profile. Hearing about the dinner with Riza sent him straight into jealous and possessive mode. Of course it was more about knowing Riza forced her into the dinner, but still standard galan behavior.

They surely have elaborate ways of keeping TK out of jail until the bitter end. And sirin was right to beat herself up about foolishly telling him about the CD before she even got there. And, of course, Cesur smashed up the laptop with the original file on it, so TK lives to lie and cheat another day.

Thanks so much, dondi, for helping out with last night's recap. I did something on Tues with dictating into Word, but my left hand was splinted on Thursday, and I couldn't face trying to correct the Turkish names in the dictated text. And thanks also for including the scene of Hulya jumping into bed with TK. We didn't see any of that, nor his change of heart in letting her stay.

Amor Val

Novelera, hoping that pinky is better very soon .

I wonder why they chose to cut the scene of Huly hulyganing herself into old Tah's bed. I would have loved to see that . Did he have a coughing jag when he noticed her there in bed with him ?

Amor Val

Sorry I’m late to the party. Thanks so much dondi356 for an excellent recap of, yes, a kind of “choppy” episode. Everyone was all over the place and back again before I could even realize what was happening. I was disappointed in Necla, after everything came to light, and I can’t imagine anyone being stupider than Turhan, but I guess there you have it. Two doo-doo heads who will willingly do the bidding of others without question, and no matter how wrong it is. I hate to see when people are so blindly led. It’s not like Sirin has ever done anything to Necla, nor is it like Riza has anything on Turhan to make him follow him like a lap dog. Mean daddy sure still has tricks up his sleeve, and he better pull out a good one in order to get rid of Riza. Riza is truly getting out of hand!

Suhan is still surly, but I enjoyed Cesur’s joy at seeing and hearing the baby’s heartbeat. Cesur truly loves her cause she is a negative downer who’s holding out on showing Cesur affection until she believes he’s changed?!?! How dumb is that!

I knew Cahide and Huyla were up to something, and it appears Huyla hit the jackpot! Good for her! Now go away! Far, far away!

OT

Glad your finger is on the mend novelera. Is ice and anti-inflammatories on the menu? What is the projected healing time? Hope not too long!

OT

Thanks, Carmella. Yep, I'm icing. The doctor said ok to use Aleve every 12 hours. Seems to help. Is that an anti-inflammatory? He said to wear the splint at night for 30 days, so I suppose that's the "projected healing time". Not really that painful. I suppose I could have lived with the bent pinky finger, but my primary care doctor saw it and put in a referral to the orthopedic surgeon. And, if it got worse and, say, touched my palm, that would not be good.

OT

Yup novelera, Aleve is an anti inflammatory along with Advil or Motrin. But Aleve is a longer acting one, up to 12 hrs as directed. 30 days is not bad. Is it a soft splint just on your pinky, or a hand one that supports all your fingers? With the swelling also try to keep it elevated as much as possible, on a pillow or something. We don’t realize how much we use our digits, or how important they are until we can’t use them. Kudos to your primary doc!

#61

This is all I feel up to tonight. TK asking Bulent about the fire was a red herring; he talks his way out of it.

Riza tries to goad Cesur into attacking him while Turan films it. He mentions knowing about Suhan’s pregnancy. Cesur catches on; the plan doesn’t work.

Cahide plays the recording of Bulent talking about setting the fire at Cesur’s house for Cesur and Suhan.

Yes! Cesur plays that recording for Banu. She comes to where Bulent is waiting in a restaurant. Slap! She never wants to see him again AND she’s taking the recording to the DA.

This scene is weird. Cesur gets a call. Leaves abruptly. Suhan follows. But she ends up in a beautiful meadow. And there’s a lovely scene where he proposes and she accepts.

Hulya brings TK a jacket from the cleaners He says it’s Salih’s. Throw it out. She says there’s a note in the pocket of the jacket. [And Hulya didn’t read that note? Please.]

Reyhan outs Cahide to Korhan about keeping quiet about Bulent all this time.

Riza calls TK again about when he gets the hacienda.

The old fox calls Cesur to come over and to bring along one of those notes Riza was leaving around. The letter that was in Salih’s pocket is from Riza. It matches the one Cesur has. Riza is telling Salih how to open that trap door just as Cesur arrives. Then TK throws Riza’s letter in the fire.

Cesur has told Suhan. She pleads with him not to kill Riza, saying he’ll miss the baby’s birth and his early years while he’s in prison. She tries the threat again. If you leave, we’re over. He leaves.

The hotel guy tells Cesur where to find Riza, and we find out it was at TK’s behest.

Cahide, for spite, tells Reyhan that TK killed Salih. She goes there and stabs him. He also hits his head on a stone planter as he falls.

For once Riza isn’t so self-assured. Cesur points the gun at his head for a loooong time, while he thinks about Suhan and the pregnancy.

Amor Val

Novelera, thank you for going above and beyond and providing a recap despite your pinky pain. Hope that it feels better every day . The heroine operates on someone who had this problem in The book series and tv show Outlander in one of theater later books \shows .

Banu reminded me of Cesar when she walked into that restaurant and immediately delivered that slap to a shocked Boo who was expecting a kiss.

I was shocked that the episode ended with Reyhan stabbing Tah. However , this guy has survived so many hospital and jail visits. He seems indestructible .

When Cesar saw Turdan recording his interaction with Riza , I was hoping he would quickly embrace Riz so that would be in that recurring . Maybe give him a little head rub. ...bffs....just horse play between buds. That would have been smart.I

Tah enjoys playing with Thor . He shows him The note from Riz and then throws it into the fire. The guy is heartless.

I am surprised that Tah isn't more concerned that he hasn't seen The love of his life Lately . Maybe when he finally discovers that His killed Ada, they will kill each other . Then , Turdan will have to seek other employment .

The sudden meadow moment was the writers throwing us a little romance amid all the lying , crying, and stabbing.

Amor Val

Thank you novelera! Cool mini! Captured all the important moments without missing a beat. Mean daddy is a sly old fox who is always thinking on his feet—-or in this case, in his chair, lol. Somebody, somewhere, likes him, because important information is always falling into his lap and saving his gnarly butt. Seems he wants to make Cesur a murderer at all costs, because that note to Salih would’ve surely sent Riza to prison. Looks like he’s out to hurt Suhan again. Thank goodness Reyhan intervened, cause with Mean daddy on the mend—-yet again—— Riza will have to wait before he gets his hands on the mansion. Riza really showed what a cowardly, little, little man he is! And while I want to see him get more than a beatdown, I don’t want Cesur to be the cause of it. Cesur deserves some happiness, and being in prison won’t get him that.

Bulent is also a little, little squatball of a man. He just threatens and threatens and threatens ad nauseum. I also think that Mean daddy was onto something, questioning Bulent, but his line of thinking and questioning is also on ice with Mean daddy’s present condition. I still feel sorry for Korhan because the woman he married is a real nasty piece of work! All her lies and shenanigans are coming to light one by one, and I hope Korhan takes his baby and gets as far away from her as possible…..

I thought that the hotel guy, easily giving Cesur info on Riza’s whereabouts was a bit unbelievable, but whatever. Looks like Cesur will give Riza a reprieve anyway, for love of Suhan….glad they did throw a little romance in. Cesur does “in love” so well!

Susalynn, I like your idea about Cesur giving Riza some playful bromance while that turd Turhan was recording…..

amor-val

Wow, novelera! Your concise recap covers everything important in one well-written page! MANY thanks, especially for doing this in spite of your uncoopertive finger.

I've got nothing substantive to add, just a few details and opinions. On the opinion side, I was delighted that Banu came in and delivered a slap instead of a kiss, but I wasn't happy about her telling Bulent that she'd be bringing the recording to the DA. Bulent is a man who would set fire to a house with people in it--he'd probably be willing to stop Banu by any means necessary.

I too thought the scene in the meadow was weird. And the lead-up to it reminded me of the many times Cesur was needlessly domineering toward Suhan. This time, I suspect he didn't tell her who called because he assumed she'd follow him to the meadow, and he could present her with the ring she'd thrown away and ask her to marry him, this time for real. It was all very romantic, but it still reminded me of all the times his domineering behavior has annoyed me.

I too hate Cahide and strongly agree with your hope that "Korhan takes his baby and gets as far away from her as possible…."

The instructions that Riza wrote out for Salih were incredibly damning. He tells Salih that he should practice before kidnapping the woman (practice how?), test the mechanism several times to be sure it works, and press the button as soon as Cesur arrives so that he witnesses his mother's fall. Riza also states that he has thought all this out carefully.

Cesur is astonished and dismayed when TK tosses this incriminating note into the fire. TK tells him there's only one way to deal with Riza, and he hopes Cesur will help him do it. "If you don't have the guts to help, I'll do it myself!"

Riza then gets a call from TK telling him to start packing. Riza thinks its because he's getting the estate, but TK informs him that no, it's not to the estate, "it's to get you far away from Cesur. He's sure you killed his mother."

Alas, in spite of Reyhan's stabbing TK and his hitting his head on the fence as he falls, I strongly suspect he'll be saved, at least for now. He's too important to be done away with when the dizi still has several weeks to go.

I was glad to see that as Cesur pointed his gun at Riza, he had multiple flashbacks to Suhan's urging him to think of her and their child and NOT become a murderer.

Thanks for the kinds words. I'm off to the Shakespeare Festival south of where I live. We'll see 3 plays in two days. And have a dinner reservation at a good, good restaurant.

OT

I just read the Uni page and there was a post from Darcy Buchanan letting us know that her mother has passed away. Darcy was with us on the Fatmagul and Pasion 2 patios. Thought you might like to know.

OT..dondi, I am watching the first episode of " The Gift " on Netflix. Have you watched it ? It stars Beren Saat. I haven't seen too many familiar faces except the actor who played Fatmagul's lawyer \benefactor plays her father .

OT Susanlynn

I watched The Gift. If you thought Another Self was "woo-woo" this has it beat.

I know several of the actors in this from various dizis. I like Mehmet Günsür (Erhan), and I’ve seen a lot of his work.

Sadly, Civan Canova, the actor who played the lawyer Kadir in Fatmagül, passed away yesterday.

OT..Dondi, oh ,I am so sorry to hear about that fine actor passing . He played such a kind, sweet character in Fatmagul.
