TELEMUNDO Y MÁS (#1): El Fuego del Destino, Infiel: Historia de un engaño, y más: Week of October 3, 2022
Welcome to Page 1 (Monday edition) of the Telemundo y Más page, issued twice a week: Mondays and Thursdays at 8:00 PM.
Here are the current telenovelas (all times are Eastern Daylight Time):
- 9-10PM - El Fuego del Destino
- 10-11PM - Infiel: Historia de un engaño
Everyone is welcome to join in the conversation. Since discussions of all the Telemundo novelas share the same page, please remember to put the name of the telenovela you're referring to at the top of your post so readers can easily find the conversation they're looking for.
By common agreement, this group DOES NOT discuss previews, trailers, or any other plot information not found in a current or past episode of the current production. Spoilers WILL be removed by the admin. This includes references to earlier productions of the story, and even the original novel. Thanks for your cooperation!
Labels: destino, infiel, reina3, telemundo
(That's the tag for it, right?)
RGVChick posted on the Telemundo page that it starts October 18th. Won't be watching it unfortunately because I haven't watched the previous two seasons, but I thought I should post it anyway since many of you guys will.
Weirdo, each of the LRDS seasons has been very different. You could probably read a Wiki of the plots of the first two and understand most things. The writers manage to put Teresa Mendoza into difficult situations that aren't the same ones as prior seasons. There are one or two recurring characters that either a Wiki or comments from viewers here could bring you up to speed on.
I can't stop watching, but I am SO annoyed with the writers having Volkan constantly mess up Asya's life. And, of course, they had to show Aras completely losing it in Volkan's house and Asya watching and judging. At least they gave Aras some dialog in which he listed all the rotten things Volkan has done which caused him to explode. But then the actor playing Asya just has that same old, same old bland face as she gives him either nothing or very little back. Sometimes I think she deserves to go back with Volkan.
I am interested and will stick it out until the end, but I am up to my back teeth with Volkan's constant manipulations and the writers inserting him to eavesdrop on crucial conversations, like finding out Aras' mother is alive. Sheesh!
At least they showed Ali having a shred of conscience last night. After his awful behavior with Aras, instigated by Volkan, he was trying to back away from Bahar's having thought Aras attacked him, when the reverse was the truth.
Weirdo, I suspect that there are places where you can watch seasons 1 and 2 between now and when season 3 begins. Even if you decide not to watch season 3, you might want to watch season 1 anyway. IMHO, it was the best telenovela I've ever seen.
Novelera..yes yes I too can't look away. What a small circle of people. And Volkan what a creepy dude. Yeah every nite we say WTF is Asya thinking? Personally I have never hit anyone but my hand was itching to smack Ali down with an aluminum crutch.
Also oh Sedeck, you lil hottie you were jumping a high school kid. Well Nil shared your apt for like 5 minutes.

Fev, that pregnant woman seemed to come out of nowhere. But I thought I recognized the name: Geren. Isn't that the name of the physical therapist that Derin was seeing, the one who agreed not to out her if she continued to pretend to be paralyzed? If I am correct, then the person is not a high school kid. I don't know if anyone else remembers Selcuk having anything to do with anyone except Nil. I do not. For me that "other woman" just came out of nowhere.
I've missed a lot recently, but IIRC, Ceren was an item with Selcuk when Nil came to the restaurant and back into Selcuk's life. And yes, Ceren was Derin's PT. I think their families knew each other. That's why Derin wanted her as a PT.
I think they are cutting a lot. But I don't have time to check the original.
Thank you very much, Novelera and Juanita for all the information you gave me! I'll definitely read/watch the first two seasons and see! Thanks again!
Reina1 has been on Netflix. I assume it still is. And I may also have noticed reina2 on there. I think YouTube may also have at least the first season.
Well, Hallelujah. Aras' mad tech skilz managed to get the video of Ali's bratty behavior off the security camera's hard disk and show what he did and that Aras did not hit him.
We also saw one of those flashbacks that the dizi writers love (me, not so much). We saw Leyla telling Aras' mother (forgot her name) that Asya was the evil person who broke up her marriage and, I think, created a deep fake showing her canoodling in a car with Mehmet.
The part I especially loved was Asya confiscating Ali's phone and game joystick. The brat will have to read books.
I keep wondering if Mehmet is going to show up.
The actor who was in Amor Valiente showed up last night. Can't remember the character's name, but he played Riza's sidekick, the one he made drive while Riza lounged in the back seat. He was also the father of Hulya's baby. Last night he rescued Derin from the awful guy who took money from both Derin and Volkan to not press charges about his child being harmed in the "take a car somewhere" caper with Ali driving. He then showed up at Aras' birthday party with Derin as his date. Caras impactadas all around.
¡Ay, caray! I don't have Netflix! I'll probably read the recaps from our awesome recappers, which is just as good though! Thanks for the info anyway!
Ok so now Haluk is dead and of course Aysa is to blame. Jeez really? Volkan gave the info to Aras about the fateful night of the fire that left him an orphan and his Ma grieving a dead spouse and undead son. I never have understood what the deal is with that storyline.
Volkan while causing incredible world wide sorrow is now telling crazy Derin she can't date and cutting off the guy who helped Derin was being chased. Of course this just encouraged crazy Derin.
So Haluk's funeral turned into a shoving screaming match. I hope the press was there cause any function with this group turns into excellent tabloid fodder.
Fev
So glad others see what a brat ali is. I e wanted to smake that kid for quit awhile now.
And says to for not telling volken
Where to go. And when she does it's like ot does not phase him at all.
Now I know that volken is a pain in the ass but sometimes I wish arias would let him push his buttons so much. And when it happens he just looses it to the point of coming off like a crazy person. I wish asya hadn't seen that in volken' house, that's just more amo for volken to use. And he did. I agree why is he always there to listen at all the important imfo and then use it to his advantage? And then he trys to explain it to asya and she gives him that blank look like"is the sun shining yet?" And then it's like shes blaming him.
Volken setoff that whole explosion that caused haluk's
Heart attack. And aras said he saw no signs off stress. Liar.
He has anger issues anyways
Well I think there aren't that many episodes left. Which is probly why the crazy is so front and center.
