Very sad episode. The writers of this dizi have made Asya a nutcase, IMHO. So last night she broke up with Aras because he didn't notice that Haluk was having a heart attack. So we didn't get any London sightseeing bus views.

The actor playing Aras, who's also in Fuego as a sympathetic character, was excellent in his scene trying to convince Asya to go to England with him. His eyes welled up with tears, and his repeated insistence that he just thought Haluk was avoiding their conversation was very well acted.

So now Asya is bent on revenge. They aren't showing a bit of regret in her for having lost a wonderful man. Instead she's smug and coolly cruel.

She's sort of inviting Volkan to spend more time with her and Ali to drive Derin, already close to insanity, nuts. She found out Gonul wanted some top job at the hospital, and she got herself appointed. The job appears to be some sort of non-medical administrative role. Instead of taking this job away, why doesn't she take that recording she has of Gonul being accused of having a medical diagnosis falsified to the police?

Another weird thing is dog-in-the-manger Volkan becoming insane with jealousy because Derin has a man interested in her.

Well, this one will be over this week. I may put up a few disgruntled comments from time to time.

Novelera, thank you for given by the basics. This show was frustrating , but it wasn't vas horrific as " Madre." Turkish dizis can be excellent stories like Fatmagul , but there two were awful , and I didn't care for Hercai. I would like to find another good dizis.

I don't understand what sent Asya into total revenge mode, unless it was Ara's screaming at every turn. Lol. He was certainly a forceful character, but he seemed almost scarily out of control at times. Too much maybe for Asya, who said she wanted "peace".
Her idea of peace is to run out of town everyone who has betrayed or hurt her.
The town will shrink to a very, very small village if she's successful!

I am enjoying watching Asya's clever manipulations and schemes involving that unholy trio of Volkan, Derin, and Gonul. She knows exactly how to bait and hook them.

Looks like the final is Monday. Wish it were Friday, instead. Ready for this to end.

I am so tired of these people. The one I can't stand to even see anymore is Gonul. That smug, overly lip sticked face sends me around the bend. She's right about Volkan and his sneaky dealings with the Goclu money, but I hate her so much I'm almost rooting for Volkan!

Asya is actually promising Volkan they'll be together again (sexually and otherwise) after he divorces Derin. A bit of a spoke was put in her wheel when Ali saw them kissing. The kid is totally messed up now. And Derin seems to have successfully buttered him back up and brought him home from school.

She saw the necklace that Asya deliberately had her see. The writers pulled our chains by having her go, trembling, to the new guy that Volkan is so jealous of. But it was a red herring. Later in the show she's back "making her marriage work".

I am failing to understand Volkan's financial manipulations. I thought he was hiding everything from Derin and her family in order to have a nest egg for his new life (he thinks) with Asya. But he took Derin along when he bought a house. She's all in with his schemes. But there's more to it than that. And Gonul has some guy researching all of Volkan's latest purchases, the ones he told Gonul were only temporarily in his name until he can transfer them to the company (riiiight).

And somehow Gonul is completely over everything that happened with Selcuk and wants him to "learn the business" from Volkan.

I think there were some cuts. One moment Volkan is telling himself he won't fall for Asya's tricks any more, and the next he's at her house where she's staged a robbery to get him there...or something.
