VIVIR #112 Part 1

JE lights into Misael about the late loan payments as mama bear Monica defends her cub Misael. Misael shouts that he doesn’t know; he gave strict orders that the payments be made on time (my a**). When Misael adds that he will look into it, JE (wisely) insists on being present; he wants to know who is responsible. Misael refuses to have JE supervise him so JE brings up the previous fraud that Misael was suspected of. Misael assures that everything will be cleared up…his grandfather trusts him and he will be the one who finds out what happened! JE then states that he will call a meeting so that Misael can give his explanation about the exact amount of interest charges that will be seen as losses for the company including the name of the person responsible. After JE leaves, Monica shakes her head as Misael thought bubbles he needs to destroy the contract.

(Unaired) Angel arrives to find very nervous Lupe and Marisa who think they are being sued or given a fine. Angel reads the email and smiles as she tells them that they have a won a prize for their marmalade…a bonus they can divide between all of them.

A desperate, deluded Elena tells Gi that Rebeca seems like a different person ever since she lost her memory; she thinks she may have really changed. Gi implores Elena to remember that every time she believes her, Rebeca does something worse! After Gi (always the voice of reason and rationale) asks Elena to think long and hard, Elena shares that she feels lost…she gave birth to Rebeca but sometimes she feels it hard to call her “daughter.” If Rebeca had grown up with them, she could have been different. (Your recapper still believes Elena was unaware of Rebeca’s mental health issues).

Doris (looking lovely in a short, sleeveless, U neck grass green dress) visits Rebeca who (pretend) thinks that Doris is there to chastise her for something. Doris (seemingly forgetting about every atrocity Rebeca committed) tells her amiga to calm down. She is really worried about her and they will continue to be friends.

Javi is being his always adorable vivacious self, chatting with Mati trying to make her laugh. Mati is unresponsive, sneering he doesn’t care that she won’t walk and tells him to get off the bed. He tells her he does care but she continues to cry and raises her voice until Romina arrives; Javi runs out telling Romina that it’s her fault Mati doesn’t want anyone near her.

Javi runs to Lucas in tears and Lucas comforts him; Mati feels helpless and they all need to work together to help her.

Diana

VIVIR #112 Part 2

Fatima tells Luciano that she will be accompanying her mother to an exam. Luciano tells her that he is very lucky to have her by his side.

Santi introduces Sandra to Elena and convinces Elena to hire her. Sandra never imagined working in a place like that and won’t let them down. Santi is told Angel has returned.

Romina tries to encourage Mati but in the same breath admonishes her; she needs to think before she acts; what she did was foolish. After Mati tells her it wasn’t Lucas’s fault and reminds Romina she left them locked up, Romina tries to justify her actions; she was trying to keep them safe since they had escaped previously. Romina acts distraught and desperate playing the guilt card; she could end up in jail (if only we moan). Romina urges Mati to think about what she will say when the police question her. When Mati tells her that she already gave her statement, Romina upbraids her; how could she do that? As they argue, Luciano enters and rebukes Romina for upsetting Mati, then tells her to leave! At first she refuses, then turns on her heel and does just that. Luciano strokes Mati’s head lovingly.

In the corridor, Romina, brimming with self-pity, wonders how Mati could do this…she will have to do what Rebeca wants so she can pay a lawyer. She calls Icky to ask if Bruno and Monica are still at the company.

Fatima tries to soothe Cris, urging her to try and calm down before being called in for their exams.

Angel tells JE about the prize for the fabrica. She then tells him that she went to see Rebeca and shows him the picture. Santi listens as they discuss why Rebeca would send her the photo…or who may have sent it. JE urges her to be calm, for her sake and their child’s.

Diana

VIVIR #112 Part 3

In a PSA, Fatima and Cris are reminded about the importance of getting timely mammograms. The nurse tells them they have the results. Cris is nervous and puts her hands together in prayer, shutting her eyes.

Angel, Elena, Santi, Adolfo and JE are gathered as Adolfo shares that Rebeca’s attorney has too heavy a workload to give Rebeca’s case timely attention. He believes Rebeca will be transferred to prison that night (too good to be true!) As Angel strokes her mother’s arm, Elena worries that prison would prove be too difficult for Rebeca.

Her anxiety clearly showing, Cris is glad Fatima had her mammogram too. The doctor enters and asks how long it’s been since they had mammograms. The doctor then asks Fatima to leave; Cris is a bit alarmed, asking the doctor if there is something wrong with Fatima’s results.

Mati cries that she can’t feel her legs! She foolishly throws back the covers and lifts her legs to the side of the bed. She tries to stand but immediately crumples on the ground. Upon hearing her screams, Luciano and Javi rush in shouting for help.

Adolfo arrives at the hospital, looking for Cris.

The doctor starts talking with Cris when Adolfo enters, wanting to hear the discussion. The doctor tells them that he wants to refer Cris to an oncologist. Cris stares as Adolfo looks at the doctor and then gulps.

Carmelo and Marisa bring Loli to visit Pedrito. Don Emilio tells Pedrito he arranged the surprise as Pedrito was feeling down. Huge hugs and thanks for Don Emilio, “his abuelo” from a delighted Pedrito. Loli tells him everyone has missed him.

Diana

VIVIR #112 Part 4

An emotional Wanda shows Misael the DNA results but heartless Misael says it isn’t true, tearing the paper up, throwing the pieces in her face! He grabs her roughly by the throat and brutishly threatens that if she returns, he will call the police and have her locked up! He pushes her out and slams the door on her.

Outside in the dark, Adolfo encourages Cris about her appointment with the oncologist the following day. Cris is very grateful but adds that she doesn’t want Fatima or JE to know. Adolfo takes her hand and assures her that he will be with her. She then asks that no one find out for the time being. Vampire Monica having emerged from her grave, creeps over and wonders aloud what it is that they don’t want anyone to know. She evilly stares and spews her usual accusations but Cris isn’t in the mood for it. After they leave, Monica calls Bruno.

Misael brings a beautifully wrapped gift for Pedrito, but Pedrito turns and snarls that he doesn’t want anything from him! Undaunted, Misael starts to open the gift himself.

Petra tells Don Emilio that Pedrito enjoyed playing with Javi but as soon as Javi left, Pedrito became sad again and just sat, looking out the window. Don Emilio looks sad himself as he walks over to Misael and Pedrito.

Misael, obviously undaunted in the face of Pedrito’s outright dislike, forges full steam ahead and gives Pedrito his gift, a cell phone. Pedrito, with the utmost disdain, again rejects him and his unwanted gift. Don Emilio tells thick as a brick Misael that gifts won’t get him closer to Pedrito. Misael needs to get to get to know him, play together…give him love. Misael imperceptibly shakes head as he wrestles with this strange concept.

Icky is ruminating about Jimena when the phone rings. He answers with “Jimena?” but his hope quickly turns to annoyance as Romina announces herself. He tells her that Bruno and Monica left. For once, Romina is one step ahead and spying on Bruno and Monica in his parking garage, sees them alighting from a car kissing.

Diana

VIVIR #112 Part 5

Don Emilio tells Misael that Pedrito is very worried because he thinks his mother will go look for him in the neighborhood. When Don Emilio adds that if he wants to get close to Pedrito, Misael should help him look for his mother, Misael retorts that the woman won’t be good for Pedrito. Don Emilio immediately deduces that Misael knows where Pedrito’s mother is. Just then, Romina calls Misael and tells him that Monica pressured Rebeca into betraying him…and that Bruno is betraying him. If he needs confirmation, Misael should go to Bruno’s apartment right now (death wish much Romina?) Petra tells Don Emilio Cris is back.

As Rebeca rattles her chains (handcuffs) like Marley, Elena tells Rebeca she has wrought much harm…being sorry will help her. Rebeca begs Elena to help her get out of there and not let them take her to prison. When she summons fake tears, asking that Elena not abandon her like she did years ago, a heartbroken Elena remembers everything Angel listed that Rebeca has done and runs out of the room.

Sandra tells Santi that she needs to find a place to live. When Santi suggests Angel’s little house, Sandra smiles since it’s still in the neighborhood. Santi finally smiles.

Holding her hand tightly, Lucino encourages Mati telling her that with therapy, she will go back to being like she was before. She feels responsible for her mother’s troubles in possibly going to jail but he explains it isn’t her fault. He finally gets a bit of a smile from her and urges patience as he kisses her hand.

Fatima is reading Javi a bedtime story as Javi tells Fatima that he is sad because of Mati. After she speaks kindly and lovingly to him, Javi comments that Fatima shows more concern for them than their mother. Don Emilio brings in Pedrito who jumps in joining them in bed.

The huge luminous moon looms.

(Unaired) Lucas goes in to see a sleeping Mati.

The doctor tells Angel that Elena was so distraught, he had to give her a sedative. Angel doesn’t know why Elena was upset but she tells JE that Rebeca probably provoked it.

Diana

VIVIR #112 Part 6 of 6

Adolfo prays outside as Cris frets in her room. Concerned because Cris hadn’t eaten dinner, Fatima pays her a visit. Fatima wonders why the doctor was so upset about Cris not getting her mammogram for two years. They chat further but Cris doesn’t share anything. They hug and Fatima takes her leave.

Angel worries about her mother’s health. JE (who obviously has learned nothing) assures her they will all be well now that Rebeca will be jailed. Angel fears that won’t happen; so JE suggests that the photo Angel received was to make sure Rebeca goes to prison.

The doctor tells Rebeca that if no one takes responsibility for her, she will be transferred to prison. Beca’s eyebrows raise with alarm.

Misael pays off the super to get into Bruno’s apartment. He wonders what Romina wants him to discover. As he enters the apartment, he sees Monica’s bag on the table. He opens the bedroom door and turns on the light. SORPRESA!! Bruno and Monica (with Bozo hair) emerge from under the covers, looking guilty as sin, eyes wide as saucers.

Corral tells Angel and JE that the mug pieces they analyzed revealed traces of a drug that caused Alma’s death; AND the prime suspect is Rebeca! JE then gives Angel’s phone with the photo to Corral and asks that she investigate to see who sent the photo which may reveal the kidnappers. In the last scene, Angel worriedly recalls Rebeca’s threat that if she says one single word, Rebeca will get rid of Angel’s baby!

As the train speeds down the track at breakneck speed, can a derailment be far behind?

All thanks to mi amiga for her seamlessly invaluable, beautifully conveyed dialogue translations.

"VIVIR" HIGHLIGHTS DISCUSSION
Diana: Super excellent job with the recap of this afternoon's episode. Crazy Becca still gonna Crazy Becca.

When did Alma get whacked ?

Vivir. As usual a superb recap, Diana and friend, and once again some very clever and entertaining comments: "Vampire Monica having emerged from her grave" Love it; "(death wish much Romina?);" "As Rebeca rattles her chains like Marley." Gi is so right , as usual; it's absolutely true that she is the voice of reason and rationale. When will we see Mati's physical therapy start? Does her surgery have to be completely healed? I wonder if the additional tests will show whether Cris has breast cancer or not. It could go either way. Romina gets ever creepier, blaming Mati for the injury, etc. "brimming with self-pity" indeed! Too bad Luciano promised that she wouldn't get locked up. The best way for Misael to win Pedrito's love has been laid out for him--enlist Wanda's help. However, after the way he treats Wanda, I say "Fall, anvil, fall!" Please!

VIVIR

Thanks Steve.

"Crazy Becca still gonna Crazy Becca" says it all, doesn't it?

Rebeca poisoned Alma and she died about a dozen or so episodes ago...

Diana

VIVIR

SpanProf, thank you for your always lovely comments and support.

"Does her surgery have to be completely healed?" is an excellent question to which I don't have an answer. I would think Mati's PT needs to start relatively soon so she can be up and walking by the end. And yes, "Romina gets ever creepier" in taking no culpability for Mati's accident is exactly right!

I was pleased that Don Emilio smartly deduced so quickly that Pedrito's mother is still alive. Yes, if he had an ounce of intelligence, Misael should definitely have enlisted Wanda's help as you sagely noted. Sadly, as Misael has his mother's cruel blood coarsing through his veins, he would never deign to do so. Adolfo needs to start working on Wanda's custody case. Stat.

Diana

Vivir

Gracias, Diana and friend. "Vampire Monica having emerged from her grave, creeps over and wonders aloud what it is that they don’t want anyone to know" Love it. Monica would be right at home transplanted in a horror film.

Romina is more worried about spending a little time in prison than whether her daughter will walk again. Keeping a teen locked up is bad, but she's not looking at a long sentence.

I thought I heard Fatima say "The Three Little Pigs" in reading to Javi. Isn't he too old for this?Anyhoo, it was a lift to see Pedrito, Javi, and Fatima sharing a sweet time.

Doris looks like she's about to get had by Rebeca again.

Vivir

Bozo hair indeed. For once her red lips were nude, as was the rest of her we assume....
Niecie I also thought the book was young for Javi, I was surprised he was even being read to at all. By that age my kids and grandkids read independently.

Pedrito and Lupita have been attending school. I still didn't understand why Javi and Mati weren't going to school. I actually almost understood Romina's mindset in locking the kids in ( not that I am in agreement) since they escaped that one time and they were lucky nothing happened to them. She should have hired a housekeeper to keep an eye on the kids, and obviously provided food for them.

Vivir de amor

Diana, thank you for salvaging another poor episode, you managed to spin gold from dross.

"In the corridor, Romina, brimming with self-pity, wonders how Mati could do this…" Diana, I think you nailed Romina right here.

What happened to our lovely Doris? Still lovely, but did she slip and hit her head on something hard? How is she going to be buddies again with Big Bad Becky?
Don't go there, Doris!

Pedrito is back to scratching his head; shouldn't somebody have asked him what the problem is by now? And who else did this as a child?

Wanda, looking really really good, visited Misael at the company and they had an argument. Nasty Misael, actually put his hands around poor Wanda's neck and then pushed her out of his office. Who really does things like that? Ugh!
I'm tempted to suggest that Primitivo have another "talk" with Misael, but Misael would call on his goons again. So Misael gets away with conduct that should land him in court, if not in jail.
All of which makes it a bit hard for Misael to actually try to do as don Emilio suggested and help Pedrito connect with his mother.

And since we haven't heard from Kirby in a while, I will ask, "Does anybody actually do any work in these so-called businesses?"

The mammogram PSA is a bit of a downer, but we hope all will be well, and everybody will get checkups on whatever is the recommended schedule now.

Andy

VIVIR

Thanks so much Niecie!

"Romina is more worried about spending a little time in prison than whether her daughter will walk again. Keeping a teen locked up is bad, but she's not looking at a long sentence". Two astute observations Niecie. All Romina cares about is herself.

Thank you for ID'ing the Three Little Pigs book. It was nice to see the kids snuggled up; Don Emilio was definitely smiling his approval.

Diana

VIVIR

Interesting point about Javi and Fatima not going to school (as far as we could see) Kat.

We definitely know Romina wasn't home schooling them so...

Diana

VIVIR

Thank you so much Andy.

I appreciate your comment on one of the most burning questions (at least in my mind):"What happened to our lovely Doris? Still lovely, but did she slip and hit her head on something hard? How is she going to be buddies again with Big Bad Becky?" Yes, Doris WAS fire and spilt all of Beca's secrets in their hideousness. And now she is suddenly willing to discount this and be BFF's again?? This does not compute.

Misael was just brutal today. "I'm tempted to suggest that Primitivo have another "talk" with Misael, but Misael would call on his goons again. So Misael gets away with conduct that should land him in court, if not in jail" is exactly right!!

Diana

VIVIR

It occurred to me how upset and frustrated we've been of Elena giving Rebeca chance after chance. Although Misael's crimes (aside from what they don't know, Dulce's accidental shooting and Mau's intentional murder) have paled compared to what Beca has done, I don't believe there has been a disparaging word against Don Emilio for giving Misael another chance. Is it the same situation or different? What does everyone think?

Diana

Vivir

Well, I binge watched last week’s shows to catch up. So thanks for all the great recaps! I enjoy seeing Rebeca’s plotting and Monica’s expressions.

I had to laugh at the bedroom scene. I don’t think my hair looks that bad on a bad hair day! You hear how upsetting it is for kids to walk in on their parents, I wonder if it’s traumatizing for an adult to find his mom in bed with his friend!

At this point I don’t think Misael has a chance of winning Pedrito’s love. Kids and dogs know who to trust.

I can’t believe Doris is offering to help Rebeca. Isn’t that friendship what ended her relationship with Sebas! Doris never struck me as too bright. I think this proves it. But it sounds like Rebeca can go to prison or go home with someone!

I wonder how Brayan is doing at the hacienda!

Liz

Vivir

Thank you, Diana, for another fantastic, as always, retelling of the day’s events! It sounds like a frustrating one, indeed.
Misael vs. Beca – I think the difference is that Beca is truly evil and out to hurt everyone whereas Mis is selfish and stupid but not necessarily out of get anyone accept himself – a leg ahead. Not that it makes anything okay, but Mis seems broken and vulnerable. He’s unloved (more or less) by daddy, manipulated and strung along by mommy…considering Monica’s overwhelming jealousy of Cris and DE and Al’s clear preference for JE, it’s no stretch to think Mis has been pitted against JE for decades. I imagine him as the kid who just got so sick of being ‘less than’ that he decided at least he can get the $$$$. It’s wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong – but it doesn’t have the same venom of Beca. Honestly, if Mis hadn’t of murderer Mau he probably could be redeemed, in my mind. Though how he’s treating Wanda is appalling!

Speaking of Wanda, I feel for her, but she should not be going to Mis and begging for his help!!! Go to the POLICE woman!!!! It’s this law enforcement agency that can intervene on your behalf!!! Stop being at the mercy of Miserable and his nightmare mommy!!!

It’s disappointing to see Doris travel back into Rebeca’s web, but it’s not really surprising. Doris and Beca are lifelong friends, Doris is an orphan (until recently) who trauma bonded with Rebeca and had her as her only and best companion all her life. That’s a hard bond to break and Doris is a tenderhearted person – she feels sorry for her former best friend and has a hard time abandoning her to her fate, especially as she herself was abandoned. Unfortunately, it may take a lot more to get her to definitively leave Beca’s side, but honestly I could see her even visiting Beca in jail one day (assuming she lives long enough to go to jail) even after she wrecks whatever more havoc she undoubtedly will in the next 20+ episodes!

VIVIR

Welcome back Liz; glad you are all caught up.

"At this point I don’t think Misael has a chance of winning Pedrito’s love. Kids and dogs know who to trust" was fantastic; so very true!

I suspect the aftermath of Misael's little intrusion on his mother's privacy will be a focal point tomorrow :). But yes, how is Brayan making out at the hacienda? We haven't seen Gabriel in a while either (thank heaven for small mercies!).

Diana

VIVIR

Thank you so vey much Darcy.

As always your superb, analytical comments were inspired...

Yes Misael has "been pitted against JE for decades", unloved and unwanted. I do think having Monica as a mother doomed him from the start. Initially, I did see traces of vulnerability but they seemed to vanish as he hardened his heart. Seeing how he has treated Wanda shows there is little if any good left in him. He was so unkind to Pedrito and is now trying to win his affection only as he learned Pedrito is his son. Rebeca is the "venom" queen indeed. No contest.

Perhaps someone will talk some sense into Wanda and have her do something more proactive than beg Misael for her son back. Too bad Corral seems to be the only officer in town.

Your explaining Doris' compunction to stand by Rebeca was compelling: "Doris is an orphan (until recently) who trauma bonded with Rebeca and had her as her only and best companion all her life. That’s a hard bond to break and Doris is a tenderhearted person..." Marvelous Darcy, thank you.

Diana

VIVIR

Hola, Patio.

Thanks Diana (recap) and Seamlessly Devoted (dialog translations). Thank goodness for Hair and Wardrobe because today’s writing was set on Pedestrian. Nevertheless, you gave us a great start to the week: [(my a**) - I always struggled with puzzles. ARC?], vivacious Javi, Vampire Mónica, Dickensian chain rattling, Bozo hair.

JE’s mini-berrinche was welcome as he tightens the screws on Big Bang. “I need to destroy that contract today ” is FIVEshadowing. Not subtle. Hardly clever.

After I watched the episode, I was hoping an unaired segment would explain Dorotea’s attitude adjustment. Nopis. At least the wardrobe department delivered with that Grass is Always Greener dress and the makeup was on point. Take that, Sebas (although I am rooting for reconciliation/HEA)!

Romina surpasses late night infomercials as the most unlikable thing on tv! Where the heck is that anvil?!?

Age-shifter Sandra was a breath of fresh air - meeting Elena in a festive red whatchamacallit with sensible green earrings and Hire Me hair. Note: nobody wondered why my application to fashion academy was rejected. Nevertheless at this point, it’s Wardrobe: OO3; Dialogue/Action OOO.

Marisa compliments Pedrito on his new lewk, and Carmelo says he’s a little catrín (well-dressed/dandy). Pedrito fires back: You look like a very ugly crushed banana! This was right before the head scratch, and he tells d. Emilio that Carmelo started it! LOL

Big Bang’s loutish reaction and treatment of Wanda was cartoonish, odious, and downright silly. I wondered if there was an unaired sequence where he tied her to some railroad tracks and Dudley Do Right swoops in right on time. It’s a shame the character is irredeemable because it would be fun to see Josh in a paternal role (with a normal hairdo).

I cheered when Elena bolted out of Big Reb’s hospital room - only for the poster “child” for mental illness to declare that Elena never loved her at all. Whomp. Whomp.

Javi and Pedrito were cute listening to Fati read The Three Little Ickies, but you know who was cuter? d. Emilio listened even more attentively than the chamacos!

OMG, Patio. Elena’s Doctor is back, and his hair system deserves its own blog. How in the world does this medicine-practicing relic achieve those jet black waves? Es más, why do they hug his petrified cranium so sexily? Move over JE, Luciano, and Misael!

Oh, but they saved the best for last. Big Bang bursting in on Joker and Bruno was everything! The light switch. The cover-up. The WGN-TV homage (Bozo) and Misael’s steely glare. Brava!

Technically Corral and her silent partner were last with their CSI work and new photo assignment. Can’t wait to see where all we go this week.

Vivir #112

Gracias, amigas. Great job.

Univision doesn't bother anymore adding the cut scenes back to the On Demand, which annoys me. This was only 38 minutes.

Loved watching Misael catching his egg donor flagrante delicto with The Illustrated Man. To the question about adult children's reactions, the answer is that even if they don't lose their cool upon discovery they are mostly not okay with this. I won't see today's episode until tomorrow morning but I expect Misael will rearrange Bruno's face.

His treatment of Wanda, however, is inexcusable.

As for Elena, both she and Ulises never witnessed ReFrida's cruel treatment of Angeli back in the day. That child already was Rhoda Penmark; she was a precocious psychopath. Angeli was too young then to be able to remember this now.

Romina's anvil can't come fast enough now. Trying to gaslight Mati proves she should never have become a mother.

Fatima should have read Chapter One of the first Harry Potter book to Javier. He is that kid.

VIVIR

O.S., thank you so much. I really appreciate your kind words.

Your words were electric, sparkling and sizzling with wit and wisdom.

"Grass is Always Greener dress," "petrified cranium", "hire me hair " (love) and "Romina surpasses late night infomercials as the most unlikable thing on tv! " were but a few of your clever observations.

Thank you for "Marisa compliments Pedrito on his new lewk, and Carmelo says he’s a little catrín (well-dressed/dandy). Pedrito fires back: You look like a very ugly crushed banana!" which is something of course I did not and could not translate. :)

Also, the important "the poster “child” for mental illness to declare that Elena never loved her at all". I'm on the fence as to whether I should have a scintilla of sympathy for Rebeca. Does she really feel that way or is it just another declaration she knows is an out and out lie?

And finally, during storytime, "d. Emilio listened even more attentively than the chamacos!" Perfect, just perfect.

Diana

VIVIR

Urban, thank you so much.

"I expect Misael will rearrange Bruno's face" is entirely possible and probable. I suspect this is the end of their professional relationship and that he will send Bruno packing. Did Bruno ever think about getting caught and what the repercussions would be? It's unfathomable to think he was actually engaged to Fatima.

"That child already was Rhoda Penmark; she was a precocious psychopath" is spot on.

"Fatima should have read Chapter One of the first Harry Potter book to Javier. He is that kid" was beyond. Perfect!

Vivir de amor

Diana, it's an interesting question you raise re don Emilio compared to Doris. Well, much as I love dE, Doris is much better-looking.

OK, she is, but that's beside the point. Yeah, don Emilio is just as bad, but we probably give him a little more slack because of his age and the fact that he is so concerned with the family. Even Misael has said that dE is ever more sentimental as he ages.
But don Emilio really should know better. He finally did remember that it was Misael who set up the scam for 25 or 50 million dollars, I don't remember which now.
This could have ruined the family business, whatever the business actually is aside from marmalade, and put everybody on the unemployment line, if there is such a thing in Mexico.

So I think we have just been going easy on the charming old guy who loves kids and ice cream and yoyos.

Doris's change came suddenly, out of the blue. We will see if it's for real.

A lot of odd things in almost any telenovela, and more than a fair share in this one.

A couple of other things: I forgot to mention that I very much appreciated "As Rebeca rattles her chains (handcuffs) like Marley,..." I don't always get LOTR allusions, but I do enjoy any Dickens.

And... whatever gives Misael any right whatsoever to enter Bruno's locked apartment? And now that he has found Bruno and Monica in bed together... what?
Two sleazy adults together. So Misael is shocked... and???

Andy

VIVIR

Andy, thanks for your always incredible insight.

What can I say to "So I think we have just been going easy on the charming old guy who loves kids and ice cream and yoyos". The definitive answer!

Don Emilio is getting more sentimental as time goes on but it suits him well. I fear he is in for a world of heartache when he discovers the depths of Misael's duplicity.

And I have to repeat this gem in its entirety: "And... whatever gives Misael any right whatsoever to enter Bruno's locked apartment? And now that he has found Bruno and Monica in bed together... what? Two sleazy adults together. So Misael is shocked... and???" Inspired.

The aftermath should be something! We will find out today. :)

Diana

Vivir
Andy and Diana. I got the Dickens allusion also but you could make all sorts of references to LOTR and I would be completely in the dark. I'm assuming that stands for Lord of the Rings, right?

I had the impression Misael got a locksmith to open "his" door, but I could be mistaken. I would hope for some ID to prove it is your house at the least, but who knows how that actually works in the locksmith world, and a greased palm opens lots of doors I'm sure.

VIVIR

Yes, Kat you are exactly right in what LOTR means.

Misael might have gotten a locksmith but I thought he opened the door rather than handing Misael a key. I could very easily be mistaken though. "Greased palm opens lot of doors I'm sure". Yes!

Diana

VIVIR #113 Part 1

Angel’s complexion is pale as she recalls Rebeca’s vile threats. Facing Corral, she denies seeing who kidnapped her as JE’s head turns quickly to look at her. Corral assures her they will try to identify whose phone was used to take the photo. After, JE asks why Angel didn’t name Rebeca so Angel replies that Rebeca will already be accused of Alma’s death and that is sufficient!

Emanating pure vitriol, his face contorted with hatred, Misael spits out a question; how long have Monica and Bruno been at it? When Bruno tells him that it’s not what he thinks, Misael contemptuously retorts that he doesn’t need to be a genius to know EXACTLY what is going on. Before leaving, he cocks his head, asking Monica if she looked for this guy because his father no longer wanted her. “Misael” Monica calls out after him as Bruno yells in frustration. Monica calls Bruno “stupid” and waves him off.

Rebeca asks the doctor not to allow them to take her to prison. As the doctor explains there is nothing he can do, Romina walks in, but Rebeca pretends not to know her. After the doctor leaves, Romina asks Rebeca to help her, but Rebeca tells her that she will have to fend for herself since they will be sending her to prison.

Delusional Bruno suggests to Monica that they can be together openly now, but Monica (red lips in place, hair reasonably coiffed) tells Bruno that she only used him as a pastime…he is not at her status and is too little for him…she doesn’t want to waste her time. Bruno stares as she rushes past him.

Jimena explains to David that she and his father will be separating and he shouldn’t worry about it because she and his father will continue loving him.

(Unaired) David tells Jimena that he is no longer little…many of his friends have parents that are divorced. He will take care of her…and so will Renato. As Jimena daydreams about Renato, flowers arrive! Sadly, they are not from Renato, but from Icky.

Misael arrives home like a thundercloud, reaching for a drink, cursing himself for not seeing what was happening between Monica and Bruno. He then removes any access Bruno has to his (Misael’s) money.

A large luminous moon fills the screen.

VIVIR #113 Part 2

(Unbelievably this was Unaired) Wanda tells Lupe and Marisa about Misael’s threats. Lupe tells her that she already confirmed that Pedrito is her son and now, it would only be fair that Pedrito also knew. Wanda cries that Pedrito won’t believe her, he’ll hate her! Lupe assures her that Pedrito will end up accepting her…he will feel it…he just needs to get to know her. Lupe then suggests they ask for Angel’s help.

As Angel sleeps by his side, JE wonders why Angel won’t report Rebeca. Angel has a nightmare and after, confesses that Rebeca did indeed threaten her. She pleads that he not say anything as Rebeca is muy mal!

Monica calls Misael and begs he listen to her; she blames his father for everything. He tells her he doesn’t want to talk to her or hear her explanations! Now he understands why his father never loved her; she doesn’t deserve it and doesn’t deserve a man like his father! She is a disgrace; she has no idea how much he despises her and he doesn’t want to see her! He hangs up and swills another drink.

Lucas is looking for ways to help Mati. Lupe and Luis think he is doing the right thing and hope Mati walks again. Lupe is proud of her son and Luis offers his help.

Misael says his last goodbye to Monica; he needs to free himself of her and all the hate she instilled him…not just for him but for Pedrito. He will cut the umbilical cord and will not be her son. He looks at a picture of the two of them and then smashes it on the floor. Next, he does a ceremonial shearing of his cowlick!! He throws the hair on top of the picture as it is transposed behind him.

Bruno asks Gabriela where Misael is; she tells him he isn’t there yet. Bruno tosses his phone and then gets on the computer, trying to access Misael’s money but gets…nada!! No puede ser!

Cris fixes her jewelry looking in the infamous mirror as she thinks of the doctor’s recommendation, telling herself all will be well. She then sees a single beautiful red rose and a note from Adolfo telling her things will be fine. Gracias she murmurs clutching the rose and note tightly in her hand.

VIVIR #113 Part 3

A smiling Adolfo tells JE and Angel that Rebeca has been notified that she will be transferred to a prison. JE is thrilled and wants to celebrate with a dinner where they can tell the rest of the family. Angel looks more solemn but smiles as JE kisses her stomach and puts his arm around her.

Pedrito worries about Loli and Marisa because he promised Alma that he would take care of them; as he is there now, he can’t do that. Don Emilio points out that Pedrito is just a child and he is the one that needs to be protected. He then adds that Carmelo is looking out for Marisa and Loli and is sure he will take care of them. Misael walks in as Don Emilio tells Pedrito that he needs to go to school and study but is not pleased when Pedrito wishes JE could be his father. “Hello Pedrito, how are you” he asks as Pedrito stares and runs off. Don Emilio tells Misael that Pedrito is just a child who is confused, he should try to understand him. Misael reasons that he does understand because as a child he would say the same thing…he’s not talking about his father; he is referring to his mother who never showed him affection like Cris did with his cousins…he wishes so much that Cris would be his mother.

Wearing a beautiful cream silk patterned blouse, Monica belts down a drink as Misael’s accusations reverberate in her mind. She murmurs “If you only knew that Adolfo isn’t your father!” She takes out a lighter and is about to set fire to her diary when Petra enters to let her know that Misael is with Don Emilio. “Misael, hijo” she murmurs as she dries her tears.

Wanda and Lupe meet with Angel. A distraught Wanda explains to Angel about how she fell in love with Misael; and Marisa adds that Misael threatened Wanda. Angel knows how Misael is…and also knows who can help them…Don Emilio! She takes Wanda’s hand reassuringly.

Don Emilio pleads with Misael, trying to convince him to tell him who Pedrito’s mother is. Pedrito needs his mother! Alas, Misael refuses. Monica arrives and walks up to Misael, immediately asking him why he cut off his cowlick…errr bangs since it was it was a symbol of their unity and complicity (thanks amiga). He emphasizes “it WAS!” Now things will be different. He tells “Monica” he wants nothing to do with her!! If he had a choice, he wouldn’t have chosen her. Monica slaps him hard and demands “You will respect me!!!” Ya basta Don Emilio yells!

Diana

VIVIR #113 Part 4

Don Emilio demands that they find a resolution! Cris enters and tells them that JE has invited them to a dinner where he will make an announcement. Misael refuses to go and leaves. As Monica cries, Don Emilio wonders what the heck Monica did to him now! Monica spews the oft repeated song and dance about JE being the favorite and flies out on her broom. Cris tries to comfort her father and is frustrated that Monica is like that with Misael. He smiles as he (wrongly) notes that fatherhood is softening Misael. Cris hopes so because Misael has always been his mother’s victim. She muses he still has time to straighten his path (sadly Cris, travel down that road is now impossible). Don Emilio notes Cris’s somber demeanor and asks if anything is wrong. Cris hopes not as she puts her hands on her father’s face lovingly.

Elena and Santi have joined Angel, JE and his family at the dinner. Adolfo announces that right now, they should be taking Rebeca to prison.

Corral and her backup arrive to take Rebeca to prison. Rebeca argues that they can’t take a woman who doesn’t remember anything. As they uncuff her “bracelet” her attorney enters and declares that because Rebeca has amnesia, the judge has agreed to allow Rebeca to be released under bond! Corral (and viewerville) stare incredulously.

Back at the premature celebratory dinner, there is a clinking of glasses. JE brings out a ring box and asks Angel to marry him…again! Of course a delighted Angel accepts. Don Emilio declares that the birth of the baby will be a blessing to the family. Cris volunteers to organize the wedding. Elena is happy for them and their baby and agrees that they deserve to be happy without Angel’s sister being a threat. Toasts all the way around. Monica makes a strange speech about Elena and Cris being grandparents. JE asks his mother if she is OK and Cris answers that she is. Elena also looks downcast for a minute as Angel hugs her.

Corral explains to Rebeca that she can be released if someone takes custodial responsibility of her while the judicial process takes place. She can be released when the person responsible signs the documents. Rebeca talks about her mother…

Plans are being discussed for the wedding venue and guests when Adolfo gets the call from Corral getting the “no puede ser” news. “What is it papa” JE asks. Adolfo shares the news… Angel looks stricken.

VIVIR #113 Part 5 of 5

Renato arrives at the gaily decorated pizzeria as the equipment is about to arrive. Jimena greets him, wearing a lovely white blouse ruffled sleeves and shocking pink pants. After David asks Renato to teach him to make pizza, he asks Renato if he loves his mother! Caught off guard, Ximena puts her hands on her sons’ shoulders reprovingly. Renato says “your mother is incredible” so David asks if they will be novios after his mother divorces. Jimena tries to take control, explaining they are just friends. Jimena assures David that she has made things clear to Icky but David is bummed.

Gabriela smiles and comments about Icky’s beautiful family picture as she hands Icky receives the divorce decree!

At the dinner, Angel says Rebeca is a criminal. Adolfo explains that Rebeca’s attorney is very good and has a winning record. Adolfo explains that doctors have confirmed the amnesia and don’t know when Rebeca will recover. Santi wonders who is paying for such a good attorney. Elena gets a phone call from the attorney and (inexplicably) puts it on speaker. The attorney asks if she will take custody of Rebeca! Angel reminds her that she almost does and Santi adds if Rebeca is free, he and Angel could become orphans. Elena is obviously upset as Fatima shakes her head “no” in the background. Rebeca then gets on the phone imploring “ma”, as Elena clutches Angel’s hand…

All thanks to mi amiga who provided all of the essential, on the edge of your seat dialog so masterfully! Such talent and generosity.

I just saw that this appears to be pre-empted tomorrow.

Diana

Vivir. Another very thorough and excellent recap, Diana and friend! "Misael arrives home like a thundercloud." Great! Since Elena is not willing to be Rebeca's custodian (very understandably) maybe R. will contact Misael. Think of what kind of mayhem they could wreak together! I can't believe that with all her contradictions about her condition the medical authorities still believe that Rebeca is suffering from "amnesia." Monica is such a snob! (but we knew that). But I must say that I am surprised that Bruno wanted them to be an actual couple. And it's about time that Misael rejected her as a parent! I loved it when he cut off his cowlick/bangs. Cris should have had her needle biopsy by now, but evidently not--maybe that will be another dramatic office visit that viewerville sees. Is it cancerous or isn't it? Oh, the suspense! I had figured that Adolfo probably wasn't Misael's father (if we hadn't already been told, and we may have). I would say it is very likely that he inherited some of Mauricio's (as well as Monica's) evil tendencies.

Vivir. Btw, I can't say I'm terribly upset that we get a respite from this novela tomorrow.

VIVIR

Thank you so much SpanProf!

"Since Elena is not willing to be Rebeca's custodian (very understandably) maybe R. will contact Misael. Think of what kind of mayhem they could wreak together!" SpanProf, I hadn't considered that possibility but if Rebeca is half as smart as you are, yes, she should definitely call Misael!

It is rather pathetic that Bruno wasn't willing to end his relationship with his mother when he found out Monica stole his son from him; it took not so pretty boy Bruno to push him to his limit.

Yes Mau was revealed as Mau's son which is why Monica didn't want Misael to be the one to kill Mau. Oops!

Doris/Sebas and Cris' biopsy were skipped today. Hopefully we will see more tomorrow. I have a feeling that Cris' lump will be benign. I hope so...

Diana

Vivir
Thanks Diana. Now we know Misael isn't as much of his mother's son as we thought. Rather than hurling his drink glass, he threw his jacket.

Monica certainly got her war paint back on quickly in Bruno's apartment.

As we all bid a fond Farewell to Misael's bangs. I noticed he left enough to pull back into that ponytail of his. I'm thinking it must be a wig he is wearing or the bangs at least were as there is no way he left enough to actually be secured back in the ponytail.

Not only does Elena have to sign for Rebecca, she apparently would have to post the bond money too. Since Rebecca milked her accounts pretty dry that isn't possible. I guess Reb could post her own bond using her CR shares. I think Elena refused to help Rebecca in the end.

OT
The schedule is really being messed with this week. Apparently Nadie didn't air today, Marea was not aired last night. I downloaded the Univision app and watched the 2 combined Marea episodes that aired in recapper Jarifa's market last night, and then I noticed they were made available in my YouTube library 2 hours ago.

Vivir
Thanks Diana and Amiga. Not much sunshine lately, but you bring the humor in your snappy recaps. Still chuckling over Bozo hair.

I think Cris’s medical situation, hopefully benign, is a catalyst for her relationship with Adolfo.

Besides premature and a jinx, the Reb-behind-bars celebratory family dinner seemed odd. Yes, a relief she is incarcerated, but still sad. But dinner upped drama and we got the new wedding plans.
Also odd was Misael’s bangs/umbilical cord connection!

At the dinner, Monica commented that of course Cris and Elena would be godmothers. Cris told Monica she could be godmother for the confirmation! Monica retorted she’d have to wait a while.

DE is the best. Can’t wait for his interactions with Wanda.

Thanks for the heads up about tomorrow. Glad you get a break, Diana.

Vivir

Thank you, Diana, your recap is excellent as always! I’m looking forward to seeing the hair cut! LOL I apologize I forgot to indicate the pre-emption when I was creating the pages this week. I did see that Vivir would be pre-empted tomorrow, but I didn’t see anything about Nadie not airing today. The schedules showed all the Unimas novellas airing every day this week, and the Univision shows being pre-empted tomorrow.

I said the opposite just yesterday I think, but actually I think Misael could still be redeemed. He couldn’t walk free for sure, but I could see him repentant and doing his time calmly behind bars. Maybe Pedrito would even come to visit him eventually. Of course, he could also take responsibility for Rebeca and ramp up the evil in the remaining episodes, we’ll see. I wouldn’t mind seeing him get redemption (with a prison sentence) though, like Cris and DE said, he’s been a victim of his mother whole life.

I don’t remember Mau being revealed as Misael’s father. I remember the patio assuming and speculating that this was the reason Monica didn’t want Misael to do the murder, but I don’t know if it was said in the show. My memory may be failing me though.

Still don’t understand Angel keeping quiet because of the threat!!! Even more reason to make sure sissy is being bars where she can’t hurt you!!! I also don’t understand why amnesia (even if you actually had it) would get you out of going to jail. Would they just let a murderer go free simply because they couldn’t remember committing the crime?? Guilty is guilty baby! That would be a weird reality though, if you committed a horrible crime, genuinely did get amnesia and then spent the rest of your life paying for a crime you had no memory of.

"Now we know Misael isn't as much of his mother's son as we thought. Rather than hurling his drink glass, he threw his jacket". Very true Kat!

Yes, adios to Misael's bangs! He looks so much better without them.

Uni's programming seems to change on a dime. Slicing and dicing, combining or just deleting entire episodes at will. As I've said several times, it is such a lack of respect for their viewers.

" premature and a jinx, the Reb-behind-bars celebratory family dinner seemed odd. Yes, a relief she is incarcerated, but still sad" was an astute and very true observation.

"At the dinner, Monica commented that of course Cris and Elena would be godmothers". Thank you - I thought she said something about them being grandmothers :)

I'm also looking forward to Don Emilio and Wanda. Now that Angel knows Wanda is Pedrito's mother the cat is out of the bag and they should be meeting up shortly!

Darcy, thank you for your always kind words.

I usually look ahead and check the next week's schedule but didn't do that. My heavens, you do us such a favor by posting the heading twice a week, I take full responsibility for not checking ahead. But in truth, a break tomorrow is most welcome!

I belly laughed at "sissy" - good one!

I don't think Misael ever had a chance; bad enough he had a manipulative, lying father but Monica truly embodies evil and avarice. I don't see him being redeemed but have said that before and been proven wrong more than once!

" I don’t remember Mau being revealed as Misael’s father". I did think Monica revealed that in one of her musings but perhaps you are right and it is the speculation I'm remembering.

I have a feeling Beca is going to get out of jail free (so to speak). If SpanProf's excellent theory that Misael sponsors her comes true, cue the fireworks! :)

Vivir de amor

Diana, thanks again, another excellent recap, AND you get a day off tomorrow! You deserve it. I have no idea how you manage doing top quality recaps day after day. My thanks also to your shy friend.

This whole business of Bruno/Monica/Misael has me annoyed. Mistake gets a phone call with few details, has a locksmith or other help him commit the crime of breaking and entering, and then discovers his mother and Bruno in bed together.
First, he had no right whatsoever to enter the apartment; second, I can understand his being shocked, but by what right does he scream at them?
He himself is no paragon of virtue, he has been taking advantage of poor women for years, even fathering children.
And he's not blind, he sees his mother and how she dresses; when was the last time he saw her in the kitchen wearing an apron and baking cookies?
The three of them just ooze ickiness. Interestingly enough, maybe Bruno is not the worst. Does he actually have some interest in Monica? Or is it her wealth?
She is after all, a sometimes major stockholder of a sometimes bankrupt company.

A pox (or plague) on them all!

Things are going better for Jimena! She's even going to get a pizza oven! And she was looking really, really good!
This is not the hottest romance ever in a telenovela... but it will do for now. Icky is having regrets, will he do something stupid?

I was surprised when Elena did not accept custody of Becky.

Andy

VIVIR

Thank you very much Andy.

Monica, Misael and Bruno ARE the gruesome threesome. As you wisely pointed out, Misael "...is no paragon of virtue, he has been taking advantage of poor women for years, even fathering children." People who live in glass houses...

"...when was the last time he saw her in the kitchen wearing an apron and baking cookies?" had me laughing away. It's an image I can't even begin to fathom.

I don't think Bruno cares about Monica, it's all about the dinero.

Jimena is very pretty with a marvelous sense of style; she always looks like a million. Hopefully Renato will wake up from his stupor befor Icky manages to louse everything up.

"I was surprised when Elena did not accept custody of Becky". Yes, you could tell how torn she was, she was really hurting, I give her a lot of credit.

Andy, thank you so much.

I've tried three times to post a comment to you to no avail. I wanted to thank you for your marvelous insight. I'll try to make this brief in hopes it will "stick".

Misael, Monica and Bruno are indeed the gruesome threesome! As you so smartly noted, Misael isn't perfect, people in glass houses, etc. :)

Monica in the kitchen? In an apron? What an image. I can't fathom it! Too funny.

Jimena is beautiful, kind and has a marvelous fashion sense. What is Renato waiting for???

I was also surprised Elena didn't agree to take custody of Becky. It was obvious her heart was breaking...

Andy, I've tried to post two different comments to you several times. None will stick.

Thanks so much, Diana and friend. I commented twice and both disappeared so using my iPad and will be brief. To answer your question, Elena and family have been hurt by Rebeca and would not be safe living in the same house. So a different situation than DE.

Favorite parts, Elena hanging up on Rebeca and Misael cutting his ugly crop of hair.

I just realized my phone goes on sleep mode at night and maybe the comments will appear tomorrow. I don’t know!

VIVIR

Hola, Patio.

Thanks Diana (recap) and A. Siento (edge o’ seat dialog translations). I hope you enjoy your well-deserved break from the Vivir shackles. I hope Blogger doesn’t eat my comments. I really hope you know how much I appreciate your work.

First things first: @ 113 episodes, I’m devastated that I have to retire one of my favorite monikers of the season, Big Bang. More on the chop heard around Televisa later! Nobody’s got a coupon code for eye bleach? Between Mónica’s hanky panky hair and Bruno’s repellant ink, the show should have begun with a disclaimer! I could have gone all year without seeing Bruno flounce around in his grey Underoos®️. #appetitesuppressant

I just knew Big Bang (while I still can) was going to throw a glass as he’s done all season. Instead he threw his keys. He threw his jacket. He threw quite the fit. Maybe the prop department is low on glassware. As rich as it gets: Joker blames Adolfo for EVERYTHING. ¿QTH? I liked the venom which accompanied each “Mónica” from Misael. She deserved all of the disdain x 1OO.

I’m surprised the scissorhands @ Univision didn’t snip the scene of the most shocking snip of the season. I learned a new word today - fleco (bang). They didn’t teach us that in school. I should have been calling him Flecón all season. Ugh. Umbilical cord references and Bruno’s chonies. I may not eat again until Thursday.

Beanie Law & Order SVU:
A suspect can be released IF a doctor confirms amnesia.
Said suspect will be released to whomever signs for custody.
Chaos will undoubtedly ensue.

Mónica’s Madrina Musings were indeed strange. Perhaps her mind is on her own newfound grandmother status…or she’s simply tres sheets to the wind as usual.

It’s official: Jimena’s Pizzeria is called Ximena’s Pizzas - it’s now etched into the walls around the giant invisible pizza oven. Ji looks great, but is she making pizzas or auditioning for a Ricky Ricardo Babalú tribute band?

Gabriela’s freaky cast and splints showed up again today.

Did anyone else cheer when Elena hung up in Rebeca’s face? Awesome ending to keep us at bay till next time.

Vivir
O S. I'm amazed you were able to read the diary entry! The truth we suspected is confirmed. Monica starting to burn the diary by the dangling bookmark, In the bedroom, sitting on the bed. No metal wastebasket, fireplace, porcelain sink to catch the burning conflagration she is about to induce? God thing Petra interrupted the blaze.

VIVIR

O.S., thank you for your very nice words.

Your coment was just sublime. Every word. Your taking the time to create these verbal masterpieces is so apprreciated.

"I’m devastated that I have to retire one of my favorite monikers of the season, Big Bang. More on the chop heard around Televisa later! Nobody’s got a coupon code for eye bleach?" had me laughing in delight.

"Ji looks great, but is she making pizzas or auditioning for a Ricky Ricardo Babalú tribute band?" and "Between Mónica’s hanky panky hair and Bruno’s repellant ink..." have made my day.

Like Kat, I am amazed and beyond impressed you were able to read Monica's diary! I am unable to translate but does she admit here Mau is Misael's father?

What a wonderful way to start the day. Speaking of, have a lot to do and will check in later today.

Diana

Vivir

Diana, I posted your comments to Andy.

Liz, I clicked to have your comment posted and now I don't see it! It's neither posted nor pending now, it disappeared. I've never seen that happen and I apologize!

Monica's diary says that she planned to have Mau get her pregnant so she can pass off the baby as Al's. Which I guess doesn't technically confirm that this IS what happened just that it's what she intended to do, but that's probably splitting hairs. I think it's safe to say Mau is Mis's daddy.

Mónica’s Diary Entry: (Thank you O.S.!)
…la mujerzuela de Cristina ya es novia de Adolfo. Hoy la descubrí revolcándose en el granero con Adolfo. ¿Porqué siempre quiere quedarse con lo que yo quiero?

Translation:
That slut Cristina is already Adolfo’s girlfriend. I discovered them together today! Why does she always want to keep what I want? I told that useless Mauricio that I only wanted but now I’m going to have a baby with this poor devil but my son is going to have a different father…. This is my opportunity to take Adolfo from my sister!

Vivir

Gracias, Diana and friend. Fantastic storytelling. I missed yesterday's epic episode, but you delivered a very vivid recap. Enjoy your much-deserved break today.

Misael's bangs were an umbilical cord to dear ole mom? Gosh, that blows me away. Still, cutting only bangs is wimpy. He should've given himself a full head trim.

Poor Bruno. He lost his sugar mama and his sugar bro in one blow.

I think Viewerville is supposed to admire Angel as a self-sacrificing mother willing to keep mum about Rebeca in order to protect her baby. But Angel is looking stupid and helpless. Why not tell all and hire around-the-clock bodyguards?

Vivir

Darcy, it was really strange. Sometimes it will say “failed to publish, try again later” but the comment stays there, yesterday it said something but it all disappeared so fast, my comment and whatever was said. Never had that happen before. Thanks for trying!

Liz

VIVIR

Darcy, thank you so very much for posting my missing comments. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!

I so appreciate your translating what was in Monica's diary! Monica is such a schemer and a liar. She and Rebeca have far more in common than they would readily admit.

As you noted "I think it's safe to say Mau is Mis's daddy"...

Diana

Diana

VIVIR

Niecie, thank you very much...

"Poor Bruno. He lost his sugar mama and his sugar bro in one blow" is so true. He is such a loser...

I think at this point Angel is completely traumatized by Rebeca. I think the only thing that will give her any peace is Rebeca's end. At this point, I'm speculating that means her permanent end; I don't see her surviving ere the end.

Meanwhile I still see no change, though perhaps the type is smaller, or my eyes are getting worse. I've only used the web version when I search for old shows. Diana, the grandbaby is sleeping and no Vivir to watch so I watched Conde again and put up a recap as nobody had yet. I can't remember who does Tuesdays. I've got tonight's so it gives me more practice.

Gracias, amigas.

I had the feeling that Misael's "bangs" was all about the curl of his hair when he was a child. I wonder how much ribbing he had to take over that.

Same favorite digs against his egg donor. Monica should never have bred.

With 17 remaining episodes we know Rebecca will make a last stand.i am predicting at this point that she will end up dead. Elena -- if she survives -- will be distraught but she is likely to eventually realize what a bad seed Rebecca was.

With the evidence of the hostage photo no way should Rebecca be released to anyone outside of a manicomio.
