Angel / Aurora #13

I will have to be out in the AM for a medical test. Can some others do today's and tomorrow's recaps? I realized today that I need to cut back on detail to get these done in enough time for any discussion.

I’ll try to write what I remember and understood. Hopefully others can add to the discussion.

Damon and Edgar show Helena his bruised face and tell her Angel did it. She asks if they provoked it and they say they didn’t do anything.

Then Briana tells Helena she and Angel are going to the movies. He likes her and she loves him. Helena is having a bad day! Although later Angel tells her Briana asked him.

JC turns in his resignation to Jezabel. She’s upset and wants him to stay. She offers to help him get his girl-Aurora. He’s contemplating it.

It seems Briana has fired the older lady who took Helena to the birthday party. Sounded like age discrimination. The lady signed papers without reading them. My guess is she signed that she was resigning.

Antonio comes to see Aurora and they take a walk. He shows her both letters and he thinks they should take a wait and see stance right now. Before the walk he was in her office and Angel was there. Angel was like a kid saying “you like each other”! And Aurora had offered him a job. It was nice to see the family together, and Aurora and Antonio walking and talking.

Fabrizio visits Demon who wonders why his dad left them. He says he didn’t, but I’m not sure if he explained why he left. He did say he was in a sanatorium for nerves.

At the beginning of the show Luis had calmed down and apologized for his outburst.

I’m sure I left stuff out but hopefully this was the important stuff.

Liz, thanks. I can't add much as I didn't take notes. The thug and and Pintas are working together in the extortion of money I think. Perhaps he told thug that Angel is Gabriel, but that would be incredibly stupid so I doubt it. I may be out of commission electric wise for quite a while after hurricane Helene (technically a Tropical storm here but so many trees down, 8 +inches of rain). I borrowed a charging block from a neighbor to get me back in the ability to reach family, etc.
 

Angel/Aurora. Omg! Is Demian starting to seem almost sympathetic?

Angel-Friday-highlights

Antonio and Aurora are in the park. He tells her about Jezabel and the DNA test she showed him. JC and Luis are also in the park, and they run into each other. Luis speaks of love and marriage, Antonio leaves.

The two young men workers tell Señora Esperanza she deserves a pension but she wants her job back.

The office worker/gossiper, tells Jezabel Demon had a strange visitor. She goes to his office where he tells her it was his father but he doesn’t want to talk about it.

Vicky tells Pasual that if she dies he needs to tell Angel the truth. Pinto shows up and she asks him to leave but then calls him back. But he has to keep quiet about Angel. He zips his lips. Angel arrives and tells them he’ll be working for Aurora, Vicky faints.

JC and Luis are in a cafe. The two friends join them. They see their coworker Maggie arrive. She goes straight to a table where Edgar sits. After starring for a bit the two friends get up and start a crazy fight where one uses Edgar as a shield. All the punches land on him. That was a fun scene. Luis said something about clowns, he enjoyed it, JC looked like he wanted to break it up but didn’t know what to do.

Demon shows Helena a video he made of them in his private theater. She imagines Angel and looks uncomfortable when he’s talking about loving her.

JC goes to see Aurora but steps in the elevator with Pinto. Pinto is hiding his face while JC is giving him the third degree because he knows everyone in the building. Pinto is not sharing any information.

Antonio is given a list of names by his secretary but I don’t know what the list was. But JC’s name is on it. He had been asked to get a list of workers at the time of Aurora’s attack but I don’t know if that was it.

Best scene ever, Aurora gets home smiling at Jezabel and then gives her a very hard slap in the face!
