Aurora / Angel 35/36

These will be ready later today, as 35 has too much dialogue detail. O an working on 35 now but will pause the completion until after the broadcast of 36. This is due to my medical situation. If #36 has the same issue it will be posted tomorrow. My apologies.
 

Aurora/Angel. No need to apologize, Urban. You are already over and above! Btw as you are looking at 36, what tactless thing did Demian say to Antonio (?) (or was it Helena?)? I seem to have missed it, but it seems to have been important and set Antonio against Demian.

Part 1 of 4

When Aurora pulled Angel back she said “Calm down, son.” He looked at her. Smiled, and asked “You called me son?” “Yes, Angel, and don't fell bad about what you saw. You know when you're with me you are as my son. Like my Gabriel. 'Cheer up.”

Helena dismissed Demon, saying she was going back to her office. Demon calculating old Aurora he wanted to talk to her about the wedding and about Patricia. She said that was okay and invited him back to her office. Angel watched Demon's face.

Edgar didn't like talking about his family. Cassandra told Edgar she loved him and he was not receptive. Cassandra was a little miffed by this and eventually this became a conversation about Demon and Carlos. She told Edgar that Jezabel had a locked desk drawer that contained the infamous music box. Ed nodded, looking a little thoughtful.

Pascual physically shoved Pintas out of his house. This became a fight as Pintas called Vicki crazy and saying she was going to die. The younger thugs ran in to Vicki's defense, one shoving Pintas away.

Esperanza got on Aquiles and Glorio for mentioning Carlos and Luis to Jezabel. She wanted to know what to know if they had anything to do with her own dismissal and both denied it. She did ask if they wanted the truth about Carlos. Por supuesto so she told them to talk to Jezabel. They didn't get it. [Esperanza is protecting her own position]

Cassandra and Edgar returned to the office and saw Jezabel and Luis leaving hers. Edgar had lipstick on his cheek. Both couples stared at each other.

At the police station JC told the cops that Antonio could not be detained without a previous charge. Patricia reiterated her kidnapping accusation but Antonio told them that Briana was not kidnapped and lived in his house. A young cop was directed to question Patricia in his office. Patricia tried to resist She accused Antonio and JC of lying, claiming she was the victim as she was the victim as she was led to the relevant office. The cop started with Antonio. They took their seats in the cubicle, JC sitting next to Antonio. Briana watched from the rear [This should not be permitted]. Antonio told him he caught Patricia abusing Briana and that Helena had told him she had been abusing them for years.

Cassandra told Jezabel that she and Edgar were discussing her employment anniversary party. Jezabel didn't like this, Edgar defended it, and Luis didn't like this [like a good little slave]. She sent him out to her car and called Edgar a muerta de hambre that her son picked up like a street dog [like Demon would ever rescue a dog]. She hauled off to slap him but he caught her hand and said “No more hits. Now we are as partners.”

Antonio told the cop that Briana was prepared to corroborate this and JC and JC explained there was a restraining order against Patricia from Aurora because of the violence. Antonio requested that this be enforced. The cop said there would be no mercy, then looked at Briana to ask if she was prepared. Both Antonio and JC looked at her and she appeared shocked, but nodded. She took Antonio's seat then perjured herself, saying that Patricia had never done anything to her, then said she had lied about her having been kidnapped. She just didn't want her mother near her. Antonio nodded, silently.

Jezabel went on the verbal warpath again, telling Edgar they were nothing. She ordered him not to talk in “that tone” and called him stupid. The argument continued until he asked if she was “trading me in for that little brat.” She called him a fool, saying he had a few useful years left in him. She would not tolerate his interference with Luis. She also tried to warn him about getting involved with Cassandra.

Angel and Helena worked on an event and he tried to exit. Helena asked him about Vicki and he told her she had an aggressive cancer. Helena got up from her desk.

Demon asked Aurora about what she and Antonio found out about the crime. She mentioned Don Lucio [so I guess we can say Adios to him]. He asked if she was continuing the search for his cousin after all Rocha said. She looked a little suspiciously at him.

Helena told Angel he only had to ask for her help. She finally asked him if he was in love with Briana. He countered with the same question about Demon. Tania entered before either could answer.

Demon tried to persuade Aurora to forget finding her son due to the misery. Aurora pointed out the motherly things she had done for him that Jezabel would not do [and probably things Demon was too young to remember]. She had been accused of trying to steal his love. She explained that she knew it was Jezabel's place to do all this. He told her he planned to marry Helena.

JC and Antonio discussed the restraining order. Antonio told him Briana had said she had spent her whole life afraid of Patricia. He was always too busy at work to notice... a lot of things. [Both these men has this issue]. They began talking about Jimenez and the current issues when JC got a text that said he/they missed a meeting.

H told Tania she needed to go to the police station. She denied that she and Angel were on the verge of kissing. Tania asked what was going on. Helena said she didn't know and was confused.

Angel got a call from the barrio boy who caught Pintas drunk. Angel told him that his mother was ill but it was not going away. The other guys started in on Angel's love life.

Per Jezabel's direction, Luis told Cassandra she was dismissed. She left, Tania appeared, and almost dropped a file box. Luis caught it for her. Aquiles and Glorio caught sight of this. Tania wished him a good day as Aquiles and Glorio looked on. Luis said to himself “Older than me.”

Antonio put away his phone, telling JC that Helena was angry at the events at the police station. JC said she had no physical proof of violence but Briana had and didn't file charges. Aurora came in and couldn't understand why Briana hadn't denounced Patricia. Antonio did not get it except for the motive of maintaining the status quo. However for the moment Patricia could not go near Briana. JC now had to take care of business and get Lucio in Las Flores to make a statement and to take Luis to his therapy session. Antonio had the feeling they would find Gabriel soon. JC said that Gabriel was not Antonio's son but Antonio felt otherwise.

Jezabel asked Cassandra what she was doing at Edgar's place. Cassandra told her thy she and Edgar were novios and loved each other. There was nothing wrong, She then had the balls to ask Jezabel what was up with her and Luis Alberto. Jezabel got up and “put her in her place.”

Pascual was sweeping the floor as Vicki formed the thought that Pintas could have been the rapist. Pascual looked shocked.

JC and Antonio had a difference of opinion about the investigation with Antonio accusing JC of trying to play the hero. Aurora was fed up with this and asked why the couldn't behave like adults over it. Antonio agreed and apologized. Ursula called Aurora who reacted in shock, telling the men that Lucio had died.

Angel was working on a report and asked Helena to stay because he had to talk about something. She was going for coffee and he asked if she could continue hiding her feelings. ¡Beso! She looked at her watch and broke away, saying she had to sort out her feelings. He said that was the problem because she was not listening to her heart.

No sooner did he leave when Demon arrived, accusing Angel of using work as a pretext to seeing her, going on about first the tacos and now the computer [Helena, when are you going to see through this creep?]. Angel came back to claim his computer saying “You always seem to be talking about me.” Helena told Demon she didn't want to fight with him. She changed the subject by telling Demon that Briana declined to accuse Patricia. Demon said that Briana declined to accuse her mother because she was the same as her mother. He was sure all would be well. He kissed her, not appearing to recognize her lack of reciprocation, saying that all would be beautiful at the dinner party that night. She did not smile happily.

Part 4 of 4

Aurora railed at fate. JC sensed that something was not right, Aurora told them that it was a violent heart attack a few hours previously. JC said now they had no witness for direct testimony. Antonio smelled a rat. Ursula had seen nothing and there was nothing for court. Antonio said they could present what they heard and Aurora said the lists could show Juventino's and Lucio's names.

Jezabel was telling Cassandra off about her “interference” when she heard voices outside her door. She sent Cassandra to check it out. Everyone entered and Aquiles said this was for an apology. Jezabel accused Edgar of organizing this. Esperanza told her it was to request permission for an office party. When Aquiles said it would be good for morale Jezabel acquiesced.

Briana showed up at Los Santos. As she helped cook she confessed she did not denounce her mother. She cried and Vicki invited her to stay with them. Pascual looked like he smelled a rat.

Antonio got off the phone saying that Lucio had become very ill and didn't want to get out of bed. They speculated on this with JC thinking that Juventino was a coincidence and this did not signify that he was the rapist.

Helena told Tiana that Angel had kissed her.

Somebody probably farted and Jezabel chased everyone out with spray. Cassandra told them that Jezabel was on the verge of hitting her. Some nonsense about no more alcohol in Esperanza's house and all went back to work. Luis called his father and said that the older woman was Tiana. Cassandra overheard this and probably figured out the real deal.

Rolando and Anita talked about Juventino/Pintas whom Anita was sure was evil.

Antonio told JC there was no Juventino on the list of workers for the new house. Aurora said they had to question the daughter about this. Aurora had heard this name before.

Part 1 of 3

Aquiles tried to get Angel out of the office asking about his relationship with Maggie. Angel tikd him they were just friends. It ended with Aquiles admitting he was om love with Maggie and he feared rejection. This ended amicably.

Jezabel initially told Edgar to wash his hands going from Cassandra to herself [like she's the clean one? GMAB]. Claiming she didn't care about that because he was not to touch her again, she wanted to use Edgar for information from the hospital director. Cassandra came in to tell her that Luis Alberto was waiting outside. Edgar saw the writing on the wall.

As she put a blanket over Briana Vicki felt coldness in both her arms.

Jezabel asked Luis about his life and he said all was well until Aurora came between him and his dad. He seemed to hope that Aurora and Antonio would reunite and leave his father alone. He moved in for a kiss but she pushed him back and told him his dad suspected them. She was a little perturbed by this but he told her he detoured the attention toward Tania. They kissed anyway. [This is insane.]

Patricia talked with someone Briana worked with because she was not answering her phone. She was told whom Briana was last with and Patricia asked for the address. [Such information should not be less than classified[

Antonio went to Helena's room and told her she could always count on him. He gave her a pair of pearl earrings his grandmother had owned and had been worn by the other women in his family. He hoped she would be very happy. Both their facial expressions – unseen by each other – looked doubtful as they hugged. She cried.

Jezabel helped Demon dress; he was garbed like a gangster in an old movie. She wore black lace. He knew all her motives. This marriage was all about their need to control Helena. Demon saw through his mother's intent. He knew how cold she was. That despite her saying she loved him he knew that Aurora loved him more than she did. Nor did she love his father. Not for the first time he told her she loved only herself. Despite not saying so she didn't like hearing him say that.

Briana admitted to the Santos family that she did not denounce her mother over the violence,

Demon and Helena were about to welcome guests when he said he was going to redo her wardrobe. She was surprised. Fabrizio arrived much to Jezabel's displeasure. Demon defended his father.

Patricia crashed the Santos family's evening to scold Briana for embarrassing her, and to call Angel a muerto de hambre. Vicki defended Angel to this nasty snob, even saying he is a millionaire although nobody knows that. Patricia laughed, which embarrassed Briana.

Aurora arrived wearing a pale champagne off-the-shoulder dress thar matched the color of Antonio's tie. She and Antonio looked as though they were getting married. JC was shocked. Both men extended their hands to her. Jezabel watched. Helena then hugged Aurora and complimented her dress. So did Jezabel but with a dig that was not lost on Aurora. She greeted Fabrizio and took JC's arm en route to the dining room.

Part 2 of 3

Patricia and Vicki argued with Doña ???? defending Vicki, who still went on about Angel's riches. Pintas crashed also, very drunk. Angel told him he would not tolerate any low treatment of his family.

Briana took off the apron to leave so the family could have some peace. Patricia dripped insults throughout her exit. Pintas also left.

Jezabel and Fabrizio argued in the study; no peace there. She said to leave Demon alone and he accused her of being afraid of being alone. He pulled Demon in for a view of their relationship's peace. Demon gave Jezabel a look she didn't like.

Vicki was angry at Pintas' actions and Briana's mother's venom. Pintas showed up again and Vicki told him to go. He tried telling Angel he was a millionaire. Angel took off his apron to make sure of Briana's safety and told Pintas off.

With a long and carefully-said preamble, Demon proposed a toast at dinner to drink to his and Helena's long relationship and their future success. She looked less than happy, as did Aurora. Antonio flashed back to himself proposing to Aurora only to hear Demon ask his father to request the marriage for him. There were strange reactions.

Aquiles and Glorio brought Luis to Maggie's place. Rolando was sent to bed.

After some confusion of custom Jezabel talked about this business of asking a father's permission to marry his daughter. And the difficulty of Helena being Antonio's daughter. She then poured her glass of bubbly into the plant nearest her, saying it was all a joke and gave them a false blessing. Demon looked embarrassed. JC was disquieted. Jezabel made comments that made others uncomfortable, then told Helena she wanted her to be the right one for Demon. Aurora gave her sincere wishes, then Fabrizio said that love was everything. Jezebel laughed and almost made fun of this. The subject of the date was discussed. Antonio said the couple should decide that. Demon said “two months”, Helena agreed without enthusiasm.

Over ice cream Briana told Angel what happened at the police station and about the violence in her childhood home. She wanted to get far away from her but not see her in jail. Her sperm donor was a drunkard and was in that condition when she last saw him.

Edgar and Cassandra entered his place and found it messed up with a note. “Whoever stops my hand I stop everything. Signed J.” He looked around and saw the room was bare.

Angel tried to tel Briana about his mother and Briana said it was better not to talk of this in front of his mother. There was a bright star near a waning moon out that night. Angel said that this was Helena, distant from him.

Helena was wearing the pendant that Antonio had given to Aurora. Helena talked about her father being too busy at work when she was a child and how that had affected her mother. This led to Helena telling Aurora about the real DV in the house. Aurora said Antonio was a good man and Helena a good woman. Aurora thanked her for stopping the argument between the men. She warned her about Jezabel's manipulative power over Demon and urged her to move far away from her because Demon is different when away from Jezabel.

Part 3 of 3

Demon asked JC when he planned to marry Aurora and he replied they had not yet set a date. Antonio exited for a moment and as he returned Demon said his mother would not tolerate being left in the church. Antonio did not rise to that in anger but told Demon that he would not tolerate any mistreatment of his daughter. “So watch your words.”

Edgar confessed to Cassandra that he and Jezabel had been lovers. Cassandra was ready to abandon ship but Edgar did not let her [because he loves notching the bedpost] , saying that it was “just business.” They decided to voh-dee-oh-doh-doh on the one mattress left on the floor.

Glorio must have been drunk because he suggested opening Jezabel's desk to get to the music box. [Dumb move, if you ask me.] Aquiles looked nervous while Luis seethed.

After some exchanges re the JC/Aurora situation Antonio told Fabrizio he was more concerned about the engagement. He did not think that Demon was the right man for Helena.


Sunrise

Helena and Demon were outside and as they were about to kiss she said Angel's namr.

Angel and Briana were together and she spoke of her feelings. He got seriously uncomfortable quickly.

At an elegant hotel JC told Aurora he would take care of her and no one wold hurt her again. They were on the bed. A sudden flashback to the rape caused Aurora to shove him away.
