Part 1 of 2
Patricia went to Antonio with an apology he was not inclined to accept. He called crocodile tears on her when she “cried” about Briana whom she decided to call for help.
Rolando saw the eye doctor, who gave gave Maggie something.
Pintas called his young minions in to get the three to provoke them into provoking Angel into a fight. The objective was to leave him half dead.
JC and Antonio talked about losses on a job.
Briana accused Helena of taking everything away from her, especially Angel. Briana told her she hated her.
Demon tried pulling rank on Angel to make him call him Mr Morga and to sit down in front of him and listen to his insults. Also, his attempts at scaring him away from Helena.
Aurora flashed back to the day in 1994 when she saw Juventino at the house.
Briana and Helena argued about Angel. Briana had begun believing her own lie about Helena being capricious and claiming she was the only one who truly loved him. She refused to believe that Helena loved Angel.
Jezabel claimed not to remember Juventino. She took the photo of Aurora and Miguel. They talked about having a mass for Gabriel. Cassandra came in to get Jezabel for a meeting with a banker.
Demon talked about Helena as though she were a possession. Despite this he had not managed to humiliate Angel. After he left Demon picked something up and threw it at the closed door.
JC and Antonio talked about possible corruption as Jimenez arrived. This has something to do with the site in Cancun.
Pintas dismissed his crew, trusting Vampi to rat out El Morro if he screwed this up. [potential here for a DNA test]
Angel and Helena ate outside as she told him about the fight with Briana. He told her about his with Demon. They spoke of their trust in each other.
Patricia flagged Fabrizio down to whine to him about the girls.
JC and Antonio clashed over Aurora. JC was hit with a phone message from Luis, then Demon calling him back to the office.
Angel and Helena with love-talk, then talking about Vicki. Helena told him she would help. Aurora was waving to them as she left the office. They talked about the fire which was still believed to have been an accident. They got into Aurora's car.

Jezabel and Demon argued about his recent drunken incident, She was questioning his reliability. He then asked her about Pintas. She told him that he was reliable and that his people would work for three pesos. As she left the office each swore to out the other from the company.
Rolando was sitting with the lunch club. Aquiles and Glorio covered his ears as Cassandra brought up Jezabel's recent cougar escapades [¡Cuidate, Cassandra!].
Angel and Helena accompanied Aurora to her charity meeting.
Demon was looking to fire JC because he doesn't show up at a snap of the fingers.
Antonio called Fabrizio to meet with Jimenez.
JC conceded that Demon could fire him but he should hold off until the current issue was resolved. He was not afraid and told Demon that his management style would not go over well. That his behaviour would have consequences.
Fabrizio wanted to be closer to Demon but did not want to work under him.
The Next Day
Angel and Helena were in a kids' playground. Rolando was there, playing.
Pintas called Jezabel to tell her things were different because of the number of police cars in the neighborhood. She was not pleased.

Thanks Urban, you covered what we need to know. Demon was awful talking to both Angel and JC. He may think he’s a leader but the rest of us have our doubts. Both JC and Angel should quit. Angel/Aurora. Excellent succinct recap, Urban. All the high points! Antonio is very wise not to trust Patricia. Wonder what she's up to this time, besides manipulating Briana to do her bidding. Someone is apparently stealing from the company. Hasn't Demian been doing that for some time? Is there another possible thief? Angel and Helena are very sweet together. How soon before something goes wrong?

Part 1 of 2
Jezabel wanted it over ASAP,
School event awards: 1st prize went to Anita. Her family, Helena, Maggie, and Rolando were there. She credited her victory to them.
Aurora packed to leave. Carmelita cried at the prospect.
Luis came to Aurora who told him that JC would be with him for a while. She was aware how he felt about her but hoped he would become her son after she married his father.
Demon was nice to Edgar so that he would spy on Jezabel for him to find out more about Juventino/Pintas.
Luis claimed that JC had no time for him. She told him about her father's actions to illustrate what a bad father really is. They seemed to have a positive effect on him as he hugged JC a few moments later.
Edgar thought Demon's demand was dangerous. Demon told him all he had to do was follow her in a cab.
Briana tried to reunite Antonio and Patricia. Patricia gave Antonio a fake apology. Briana said if Antonio would not accept it she would go to live with her mother.
Rolando was in Pintas' place where he hid in the armoire as El Morro and the others came in {What were they talking about?]
JC and Luis cooked together. Luis asked about Antonio and admitted Jezabel was asking about this. JC looked up, possibly with suspicion.
Pintas looked about to vandalize the mural when Jezabel called him to triple his payment if he killed Angel. He accepted. He then told God he would shortly have a new angel. He was very drunk [Even Zeus and Dionysus would not forgive that].
It was Vicki's birthday and there was a party. She believed it would be her last and silently thanked God for all she had. Vicki and Aurora each thought of their son s they blew out the candles together.
Patricia had not fooled Antonio. He told Briana she could continue to live with him. Patricia dismissed her and she left the room, but only just. She stood just outside it and eavesdropped. On phrase that should have stood out to her was her being described as una hija muerta de hambre.
Leis began talking about Jezabel, which got JC's attention. Luis said he was kidding, but …. JC sked when he would introduce him to Tania and Luis said it would be soon.

Antonio asked Patricia how she could have expected him to deal with her jealousies. She called Briana into the room, then left. /he hugged Briana, saying no matter what happened with her mother he would be at her side. The smile he did not see said she intended to manipulate him.
Upon hearing that Aurora's son died young Vicki almost fainted. Helena told Aurora the office would not be the same without her. Aurora gave Vicki a gold necklace of a pair of angel wings in the hope that the doctors will cure her. As Aurora left with Angel and Helena Vicki ran into her room and cried. Pascual followed her. She tried to leave insisting that Aurora be told the truth, but Pascual stopped her.
Pintas was drunk and sitting on the sidewalk as Helena, Angel, and Aurora walked by. Helena asked Aurora not to leave. Her car pulled up and she got in. As it pulled away Angel almost ran after it, but Helena stopped him with some reassuring words.
Jezabel and Demon almost broke open the champagne at Aurora's departure and in anticipation of Angel's.
Palmiro fell in love with Esperanza at first sight!
Angel saw Vicki's tears and she said that she always got sentimental on her birthday.
Edgar asked why Cassandra was so jealous. She was not in favor of his dalliance with Jezabel. He eventually asked where Angel lived.
Angel and Helena went to his room, put on some music and took to the bed, [Te amos after the word from our sponsor].
Aurora said adios and Jezabel said they'd look for Gabriel's grave. Aurora and JC got into the car and left. Antonio saw them and thought “Aurora, don't go.” Jezabel laughed, then said “Go. Fight for her.”
Briana showed up at the playground party and was greeted by Vicki as Angel and Helena returned.
Aurora kept hearing Antonio's plea not to marry JC. He was probably not far behind them.
Pintas was still three sheets to the wind. He collapsed near a gathering of his minions.
Someone ran to the party to get Angel about a fight. Rolando could not stop him. Pintas watched as Angel got there.
Aurora listened to a voicemail from Antonio wishing her happiness. She told JC to turn around.
Demon and Jezabel ate together. He asked about Pintas. She called for the check.
Angel got to the scene of the fight. Pintas was shooting the video ion his phone. Rolando go there and was knocked down against the curb. Angel was unhurt so far.

JC should realize Jezabel is very much in Luis’ life. I think he does but is in denial.
Not sure how Pascual and Vicki can face Aurora knowing they have the son she’s grieving for.
Jezabel and Demon being so gleeful at Aurora’s leaving was awful. I can’t wait to see how they end up.

Vicki's conscience came after her, so how much longer can they hold out? Pascual is probably worried about the legal problem this could pose while Vicki knows how she would feel in this situation. Remember also that they have no clue that Pintas raped Aurora.
So the paternity issues about Angel and Helena continue. Angel has not yet landed in hospital and we don't know anyone's blood type. Are we even close to the hump?

Angel/Aurora. Thank you for another excellent recap, Urban. Anita was extremely generous in giving other people credit as well for her award--including Rolas. What a great kid! That was a very positive conversation between Aurora and Luis. Maybe it will help him have a more normal world view. Yes, Patricia. Please go live with your mother! I think El Morro et al were talking about an attack on Angel. Is Vicki right that she doesn't have long to live? In telenovela plots, it could go either way.

Knowing TNs as I do I think Aurora and Antonio will provide for the Santos family for their care of Angel so that he became the sort of man that Demon isn't.

Maggie, Aquiles, et al arrived. Vampi pulled out a switchblade as the police sirens sounded. He rushed in but stabbed Helena below her ribs. Pascual and Vicki arrived.
Aurora got out of JC's car. They saw a cross on a lone grave by the side of the road. Aurora said shw was not giving up the search for Gabriel.
El Morro picked up Rolando and carried him. Angel carried Helena. Briana sent a text to Antonio.
JC and Aurora argued about this. He told her he was giving up business opportunities and money to live with her and look forward. She insisted that her son was alive and she was going to find him.
Jezabel and Demon were having lunch with a banker. Jezabel excused herself to go to the restroom. She called Pintas who told her that things had not gone as planned. Helena had been the one stabbed. He started to tell her about Rolando but she cut him off because Demon walked in. He wanted to go there but she said they couldn't because they were not supposed to know. Briana called Demon and he answered. [So much for that.]
Aurora and JC's argument continued.
Vicki had a sudden pain.
Rolando was on his way into the emergency room. The only allowed Maggie to enter with him. As Angel kept El Morro to follow we find out that El Morro was Rolando's sperm donor.
Demon called Edgar to tell him there would be a change of plans.
El Morro confessed to Angel that Rolando was his son. As Angel was taking this in two guys told him that Vampi and Guarame started the fight.
The doctor who made the house call told Pascual that Vicki's pain would get worse.
Patricia told Fabrizio that Helena had been stabbed. Aurora walked in on this conversation.
Jezabel went to see Pintas and they cooked up a scheme to frame Angel for what happened. Pintas was to make an anonymous call to the police [He doesn't have enough of a conscience to stop himself making a criminal of his own son].
Esperanza, Aquiles, and Glorio comforted Maggie. A nurse told Antonio that she would be alright. However, he was riled up upon seeing Angel.
Maggie prayed while Rolando was in surgery. Helena was stitched up as Demon arrived and blamed Angel.
Pascual could not bring himself to tell Anita the details about Vicki.

Antonio demanded an explanation from Angel about what happened. Before he could explain much Demon arrived, blaming Angel. Aurora arrived, but so did Briana with Patricia and Fabrizio. By this time Antonio was blaming Angel.
JC and Luis talked about the situation. JC changed his mind and decided not to marry Aurora.
Aurora wanted to know what happened. Demon kept blaming Angel amd Aurora tried to get him to stop. Fabrizio finally pulled Demon out. Demon called Jezabel to tell her what she wanted to hear. She told him to fake being happy for Aurora's return and not leave Helena alone with Angel. Pintas went to her and she told him to lay low until she contacted him. She drove off and he sauntered down the street, pleased with himself. One phrase – mi hijo – stood out as Edgar watched and listened, unseen by Pintas.
JC and Luis talked about Aurora. Luis finally said that Aurora wanted to return not for Antonio but for her son. He mentioned the conversation he had with her about becoming her son.
Edgar thought about what he has seen and heard.
JC called Aurora who told him where she was and why.
Helena wanted to see Angel and asked about Rolando. Antonio told her that Rolando was recovering. She told him what happened ad that she had never felt so close to death before. She asked him to get her purse so she could pay her bill and Rolando's as well.
Aurora brought Angel coffee. He felt hemmed in between Antonio's anger and Patricia coming in to mess this up further. She spoke of the deception of Rocha and her need to find her son. Two men in suits came in to see Helena.
Demo continued to gaslight Briana about Angel and Helena. A nurse explained the two men to Antonio who told them to be careful with her. Demon continued to gaslight Antonio about the dangers associated with Angel.
Part 2 of 2
Antonio demanded an explanation from Angel about what happened. Before he could explain much Demon arrived, blaming Angel. Aurora arrived, but so did Briana with Patricia and Fabrizio. By this time Antonio was blaming Angel.
JC and Luis talked about the situation. JC changed his mind and decided not to marry Aurora.
Aurora wanted to know what happened. Demon kept blaming Angel amd Aurora tried to get him to stop. Fabrizio finally pulled Demon out. Demon called Jezabel to tell her what she wanted to hear. She told him to fake being happy for Aurora's return and not leave Helena alone with Angel. Pintas went to her and she told him to lay low until she contacted him. She drove off and he sauntered down the street, pleased with himself. One phrase – mi hijo – stood out as Edgar watched and listened, unseen by Pintas.
JC and Luis talked about Aurora. Luis finally said that Aurora wanted to return not for Antonio but for her son. He mentioned the conversation he had with her about becoming her son.
Edgar thought about what he has seen and heard.
JC called Aurora who told him where she was and why.
Helena wanted to see Angel and asked about Rolando. Antonio told her that Rolando was recovering. She told him what happened ad that she had never felt so close to death before. She asked him to get her purse so she could pay her bill and Rolando's as well.

Thanks, Urban, great recap. I was disappointed in Antonio as he was very ready to blame Angel. I expected that from Demon, but not Antonio. I was also disappointed in JC, he wasn’t very understanding of Aurora. But I’m fine with him breaking the engagement. Although Luis may have changed his mind.
I was surprised El Morro was Rolando’s father. Hopefully this will bring about a change for the better in him. He never seemed as bad as the other two. And Pintas suspected this.

Angel/Aurora. Quick and dirty (you're so modest), but well done, Urban! This was a very tense episode! Will Angel break up with Aurora "for her good?" Sometimes he seems excessively noble. It is probably a good thing that El Morro knows Rolas is his son. Rolas now has a protector. Btw, is Rolas having both surgeries at once? Now Jezabel wants Angel to be falsely imprisoned. Will that happen? Is there really evidence or will she pay someone off? Luis has actually acquired a bit of wisdom. Helena says that Angel was trying to do a good thing--to break up a fight. And JC was pretty foolish to argue with Aurora.
