FUGITIVAS #48 Part 1

Carmen accosts Frida on the sidewalk; Frida looking startled and unhappy.

Frida doesn’t want to make things difficult for Carmen (although she should I say, totally peeved). Frida says she wants peace and if they achieve it, she won’t tell Dario the truth about her. Carmen cruelly smirks adding after all, why would they fight over Dario? Frida has nothing to offer him. Achieving another lower level of loathsomeness, Carmen knows Frida is dying; how much time does she have left?

Frida tries to push past her but Carmen stops her. Carmen is biting and cruel. Frida tells her she will end up alone..

Sofia listens in on one of Arturo’s conversations but it isn’t relevant.

Frida confesses to a sympathetic cab driver that she has a fatal disease. She has found love with a marvelous man but she doesn’t know how much longer she has left to live. He is very sweet and encouraging to her. She tries to smile and thanks him.

Police show up at Lisset’s mother’s house. They quiz her about Lisset’s whereabouts but she indignantly either tells them she doesn’t have a daughter or that she and Lisset are estranged. One of them men gives her his business card.

Amanda gives Ismael the folder with the information on Gabriela’s “accident”. The sister of Lorena she asks? Yes is the answer as she narrows her eyes at Ismael.

The kind taxi driver lets Lisset off and get out of the cab. He hands her a holy card of a patron saint who takes care of the infirm (I could not get the name). He waves goodbye to her with a bright smile.

Dario is at the bar crunching numbers when Frida comes in, hugging him from behind and kissing hm. He calls her the love of her life. How are you he asks? I think she tells him she is fine (lying through her teeth).

Frida greets Montse and Marta. Just then, Lorna comes through the door in tears; they embrace her warmly. She cries about Gabriela being in the coma. She explains she was in Guatemala.

Alejandro calls Sofia but it doesn’t seem she has anything to report; she urges patience.

FUGITIVAS #48 Part 2

Florencia brings Vincente coffee and asks how he is. Does she offer her home for Gabriela to recuperate?

Frida and Lorena talk; does she say Patricio thinks she is guilty? She tells Frida that Alejandro is wonderful! Lorena calls Alejandro and he asks where she is. Frida starts telling her about Dario when the camera pans away.

Vincente tells his boss (whose name we STILL don’t know) that Gabriela was in an accident and is in a coma. The situation is grave. He is understanding.

Lorena runs into Alejandro’s arms. How are you he asks as she strokes his cheek. I want to see Gabriela Lorena states. It’s impossible he replies but she is insistent. She begs Alejandro to help her but he is reluctant; if the Marquez’ are still there it will be very dangerous.

Vincente is in class; Teo is there too. Teo astutely senses that Vincente is sad and the two share a hug.

Dario’s furniture is covered in plastic. It looks like he and Frida are looking at fabric swatches. Dario tells her she is the most wonderful woman on earth.

The police tell Patricio and Ismael what they found out (or more accurately what they didn’t find out) at Lisset’s mother’s.

Erick rings the doorbell of the mansion where Lisset’s mother works. She opens the door asking what he wants. He tells her he is a friend of her daughter Lisset. She denies having a daughter. He pleads his case but she is cold, rejects him, shuts the gate in his face and bids him goodbye.

Alejandro and Lorena continue their discussion as to how she can get into the hospital; kisses ensue.

Amanda gives Ismal some sort of a report having to do with Gabriela.

Alejandro is at the hospital. He concocts some sort of ruse and ends up getting a tour; his eyes dart furtively as he gets the lay of the land.

Nico visits Ismael and mentions Florencia. Ismael says that they have separated (for good)! Nico, (inwardly jumping for joy) actually manages to keep a straight face uttering a nauseating “lo siento mucho”. Liar, liar 😊

FUGITIVAS #48 Part 3 of 3

Lisset kisses Erick on the street and for a moment, looks as though she can tell something is amiss but she dismisses it as they walk happily down the street. Later, they enjoy some ice cream and Erick comes clean; he went to see her mother. She is furious but he tells her he only had good intentions. She asks what happened and he hangs his head, telling her the truth. Why she asks in angry tears. She stalks off with Erick looking sad and defeated.

Moving like greased lightning, Nico calls the bereaved wife Florencia wanting to celebrate at his apartment that night. She agrees but doesn’t seem thrilled.

Alejandro returns and has scored a nurse’s uniform for Lorena! He pulls out some napkins to sketch the hospital layout.

Vincente visits Ismael and discuss Gabriela and the non-progress of the case; Vincente leaves defeated.

Vero is pestering Florencia to do something that evening but she protests saying she will be spending time with Vincente. A smirk plays on her lips after Vero leaves.

Alejandro drives Lorena to the hospital gates on his motorcycle (I’m surprised no one has put a tail on him). He tells her to be calm and promises all will go well. Lorena alights from the bike and then walks through the iron gates outside the hospital.

Lisset comes home, dissolving in tears as she collapses on the bed as Frida and Montse look on concernedly.

Alejandro is walking down the hospital corridor ahead of Lorena when a man calls out to her. They both turn but the man is only asking where the cafeteria is. She answers and the immediate danger passes.

Alejandro creates a diversion so Lorena can duck inside a room to hide temporarily; while the nurses are attending to him, she exists and strides purposely into the Intensive Care unit.

“Hermanita” Lorena utters quietly, holding Gabriela’s hand, tears in her eyes. I am here…

I am so sorry that I could not do tonight’s dialogue justice but the majority was truly over my head. Please add what I missed and correct what I got wrong.

EXTRAS #1

Frida gets Carmen to back off by threatening to tell Darío who Carmen really is: Perla Segovia.

Frida tells the cab driver that there is no way to cure her disease. There is only medication so she doesn't feel so bad. (Will we ever know what she is suffering from?) The cab driver tells Frida that she needs to make the most of the life she has left. She will leave her lover marvelous memories. When a person leaves us, they remain in the hearts of those who stay behind. His own son died of leukemia and he encouraged him to live his best life and he did knowing that when he died, his loved ones would be fine. He gives her a holy card for Our Lady of Lourdes to always keep with her. He says there is no reason for her to thank him but she should make every day the best of her life.

Lisset's mother tells the police that Lisset was jailed because she stole from the house of her previous employers. She testified against her once and if she had to testify against her again, she would. She has had no contact with her and doesn't want any contact with her. She gives them the names of Lisset's sisters if they want to check with them but she is sure they have had no contact with Lisset either.

Cheeky Amanda asks Ismael why would he, being from the prosecutor's office, be investigating Lorena's sister's hit and run case since it isn't really his job to do so. He says his brother-in-law asked him for his assistance. He asks her to investigate the license plate number of the car that hit Gabriela.

Flo tells Vicente that he cannot spend every minute at the hospital since they do not long how long this is going to take. He doesn't want to leave Gabriela alone and wants to be there when she wakes up. She advises him to get back to his life, get some rest and visit during visiting hours. The doctor will keep him updated. She is worried about him.

Lorena says the bus trip from Guatemala was the longest of her life. ( In reality that would be around 21 hours from what I could find ) Lorena tells Frida about the raid the police made on Alejandro's family's country house. She says that Ismael is convinced that she is a murderer.

Teo acknowledges Vicente's sadness and tells him he loves him. Vicente loves Teo, too.

Darío is asking Frida's input on how he is re-decorating his room because he wants it to be THEIR room. As for Frida's concern about his mother, he reminds he that they are adults.He thinks Mati will see it as normal. He makes it clear he is putting no pressure on her. She doesn't know what she has done in her life to deserve a man like him. He says she is the most marvelous woman on earth.

Ismael tells the officers to talk to the police in Tepic so they can question Lisset's sisters.

Amanda tells Ismael that the car that hit Gabriela was reported stolen the night before the incident. He wants her to put out a "be on the look out for" the car . It has to turn up somewhere. Amanda, with her bad attitude, asks what if they dismantled the car? He says until they have proof of that, they need to keep looking for it and puts her in charge of that task.

At the hospital, Alejandro says he works for a health magazine and he would like to do an article on the nurses who work at the hospital as a kind of homage to the incredible work they do. He would like to interview one of them. He gets to interview the head nurse.

EXTRAS #2

Erick tells Lisset that her mother denied having a daughter named Lisset. Lisset tells Erick not to make decisions for her any more. He only allowed her mother to continue to hurt her to the bottom of her soul. She rightfully calls Erick a METICHE: a busybody/a meddler.

Could not have Lorena at least put her hair up in pony tail or bun before going into the hospital to diguise herself a bit???

Alejandro pretends that he is looking for his mother who has been admitted into the emergency room. Then he fakes a panic attack. His ruse is "resolved" when it turns out "his mother" is at "Clínica 18" and he is at "Clínica 28". He feels so stupid. It seems his nerves got the best of him and he misheard!

Jarifa, as always, you shone your amazing light on so many of the fascinating details that I could not comprehend.

"Could not have Lorena at least put her hair up in pony tail or bun before going into the hospital to diguise herself a bit???" had me laughing to myself as I nodded in vigorous agreement! Talk about being out in the open...

"Frida tells the cab driver that there is no way to cure her disease. There is only medication so she doesn't feel so bad. (Will we ever know what she is suffering from?)" So, so frustrating! This hasn't been overly dark thus far so I can't see Frida dying; I'm keeping hope alive.

Lisset's mother is rigid, cold, unforgiving and far too self righteous. Erick has good intentions but he totally bungled trying to "help" Lisset with his interference.

Ismael seems to handle Amanda's insolence in stride without annoyance. I wish she'd put all the energy she's expending on being a nudge and making inappropriate comments into finding out who owns the car and more importantly, who was driving and at who's order...

Alejandro was pretty endearing fumbling and bumbling through his "lies" trying to divert attention away from Lorena.

Juana #43 part 1 of 3

Amparo tells Paula she will ruin her life if she carries out her plan. Her ego is hurt but she can have luxuries and a good life without Gabriel. Paula tells her that even though Camila is with Rogelio she wants Gabriel. When Juana disappears Camila will get blamed.

Gabriel tells Camila she has no right to interfere in his life by offering Juana money. She replies that Juana planned this pregnancy to get his money. Gabriel says that’s Paula’s crazy idea. Camila first says she’s trying to save her best friend’s marriage but then says she’d like to be by his side. He tells her Juana is the love of his life and he thanks her for voting with him but they’ll never be together. Camila leaves thinking she’ll console him when Juana disappears.

Inez is worried about the event. Enriqueta tells her and the other girls to go enjoy themselves. She goes in with Carlos. Meanwhile Chimis is encouraging Felipe to go to the party.

Camila asks if Rogelio has arrived. Carlos mentions she seems nervous. Rogelio arrives. He comments to Gabriel that his father would not be happy with what he’s doing to the company. Gabriel says he wouldn’t be happy with the person trying to ruin the business. Rogelio asks the others to leave so he can speak to his son-in-law alone. He tells him, 1-Camila is my woman and 2-Paula deserves his shares. Gabriel tells him he inherited the shares. It looked like Rogelio gave him a punch in his side. Somewhere in the confrontation Gabriel seems to accuse Rogelio being behind all that’s happened. Carlos and Claudio approach. Rogelio wants her daughter to get what she deserves. Claudio tells him she only wants custody of the baby. Rogelio calls her an idiot and then starts in on the land and the grandfathers. Camila interrupts to tell them the Spaniards have arrived, and Gabriel takes her arm to go greet them.

Margarita agrees that Ramon could have used his father’s name. They talk about the detectives. Josefina tells them they need to tell them that they’re good men

Felipe is off to the event and Yadira tells him how handsome he looks. She’s waiting for Salvador but Felipe tells her he already left.

Juana tells Jenny that Salvador is the first man her mom likes that she approves of, 100%. Juana is off for a walk. Jenny wants to go with her but Juana tells her she’ll be fine.

Juana part 2

Everyone is enjoying the event. Dani and her coworkers are gossiping about the confrontation between Gabriel and Rogelio. Then Viviana mentions Manuel, who is in their sight. He’s telling his dad the employees aren’t going to respect him. Rogelio says he’ll soon be the owner. He seems to be plotting something as he says people aren’t going to want to invest in the company.

Carlos is telling Enriqueta that the war between the Rubios and the Fuemayors is happening. And Rogelio is wanting to toast with Camila because at that moment someone is visiting her brother in jail. And Vanesa approaches Manuel and mentions the confrontation. He says it’s about his sister’s divorce. They then compliment each other.

Felipe asks Dani where Enriqueta is. He sees her with Carlos and gets jealous.

Juana goes to Dani’s. Her mom, Juana calls her Tia, (aunt), tells her Dani is at the event. She wants to talk to her, says the girls have been friends for so long. Juana says Dani is avoiding her because of their friend David. He’s been there for Juana but she’s in love with someone else. But Dani is right, she’s too wrapped up in her own problems. Dani knows her better than anyone, she misses her. They hug.

Amparo tells Tania that Paula isn’t well, give her that tranquilizers if she needs them. Tania thinks Amparo should stay but she leaves.

A coworker approaches Dani and tells her what a great couple Enriqueta and Carlos are. Dani says they’re not a pair, Carlos is too old. Felipe goes over to Enriqueta and acts like a jerk. Then walks away

Yadira is asking Chimis why guys don’t stay with her. He’s scrolling on his phone and she gets upset. He comforts her and she leans in to him. He’s happy until she says he’s her best friend and confident. Not what he expected.

Gabriel asks Claudio about the custody of his baby. It’s going before a judge. Gabriel doesn’t like surprises but Juana will leave Mexico. I guess he’s saying Juana will flee or he’ll help her leave.

Felipe accuses Enriqueta of ignoring him. She didn’t know he was there, he was an hour late, and she’s working. He mentions Carlos and she says to leave him out of this. It’s between us. She says he’s acting like people from the barrio. Carlos comes in to see if she’s ok and Felipe leaves.

Juana part 3

Vanesa brings Manuel to a private area and starts to undress him. They kiss. So much for wanting to be courted!

Carlos brings Enriqueta a drink. She says she wanted Felipe to see her world. Felipe says he didn’t dit in. She doesn’t need his jealousy.

Gabriel is worried he hasn’t seen Rogelio. Claudio thinks he was angry and left.
Gabriel goes to Carlos and tells him he thinks he was right about Rogelio.

Rogelio had forced Camila to leave and they get to her apartment. Her mom is there and Paula introduces them. Rogelio leaves, not too happy. The next morning Camila calls her friend, Nahuel. She and her mom will meet him with the money. Her mom comes in. She loves this place, slept so well.

Paula is leaving her house. Porfilo is telling her he needs to go with her but she won’t let him

Josefina, Jenny and Juana are eating the breakfast Margarita cooked. She wants to help around the house to thank them for letting her stay there. Juana and Jenny miss Felipe, but he’s happy. Josefina doesn’t think so. Juana is going to school and Jenny wants a ride. Her boss wanted her to come in early.

Gabriel is at David’s and Gabriel tells him he suspects Rogelio. If something happens to him he wants David to take care of Juana and his baby.

Felipe slept in the garage. He tells Chismo that going to the party was a bad idea. Meanwhile Enriqueta is thinking of their argument and doesn’t look happy with what she said.

Camila tells Paula she has to hand the money to the guys she hired. It’s Nahuel and two others.

Thanks Susan. I keep trying to make them shorter but it seems more stuff is happening. Guess we’re getting set up for the eventual downfall of the bad guys. I’m wondering why Jenny has to go in early. She’ll be alone with Ricardo.
Paula and Camila plan to frame each other. But Camila still has it more together than the others. I’m not sure if she brought her mom home to protect her from Rogelio or because they made the deal at her mom’s place. I think that’s where it was.

Liz, I think your recaps are a perfect length. I agree with all your comments. Camila is cagey .When I look at her face , I think of a little sly fox. I was confused about her mother showing up. I thought that Rog had brought her to intimidate and control Cam. Paula and Rog are now BSC. Susan

Liz, the length is good, as you say they keep adding things.

This is the first episode I was sure Camila's mom is blind. I had wondered in previous episodes. I still wonder how Enriqueta' can afford such a posh place. Felipe deserved to be dumped in that episode. It was funny, someone (Chimis) advised him to where a black shirt and he got it mixed up so when he showed up the caterer thought he was one of the waiters and told him to get to work serving things.

Dear Diana and Jarifa, thank you so much for tag teaming another episode . The pot is bubbling .

I think that the characters that I am keeping my eyes on as the culprits are Arturo, Nico, and maybe Vero. I dislike Flor, but she may be innocent and just a spoiled, shallow gal. She seems truly concerned now about Vincent's and even softening toward Gabriela, wheras Vero is just a nasty piece of work.

I bet Vincent and Gabe adopt sweet Teo.

I get a kick the way creepy Pintas pull himself up to anyone's table to eaT the food. Ugh. Susan

Sorry, I guess I never mentioned her mother was blind. I think Enriqueta is probably among the higher payed employees. She seems to work closely with Carlos. I left out the waiter scene, but it probably helped show he didn’t fit in there, not as a guest anyway! But I’m trying to shorten the recaps to cut down on the time spent writing them! Christmas is sneaking up on me. I decided to just put important stuff in but it hasn’t helped. Seems everything is important! I wonder if the 3 stooges will make their attempt on Juana tonight. I’m assuming they won’t succeed, but you never know. Well, I know they won’t kill her.

FUGITIVAS #49 Part 1

Alejandro creates a diversion so Lorena can duck inside a room to hide temporarily; while the nurses are attending to him, she exists and strides purposely into the Intensive Care unit.

“Hermanita” Lorena utters quietly, holding Gabriela’s hand, tears in her eyes. I am here…Tears falling down her cheeks she tells her sister she isn’t alone. She informs her she was in Guatemala…she kisses her sister’s head and prays…

Frida and Montse try to cheer Lisset up telling her Leona has returned. Erick, the master of bad timing, comes in asking forgiveness but Lisset has none to give. She lies down refusing to answer Montse’s question and Erick is similarly despondent with Frida.

Lorena is reciting quite a monologue when she hears the hospital door open! She jumps up and walks over pretending to check the IV drip. A doctor enters but Leona keeps her composure and walks out of the room, out of the hospital, straight to Alejandro waiting on his motorcycle.

Nico and Amanda talk and if I understood correctly he claims Ismael of not doing his job. He is an excellent friend but not effective in his position. She seems to defend him and state he is doing the things he needs to and in the proper way.

Matias comes bounding into Lisset’s room. He immediately senses something is wrong and is concerned. She smiles and gets up; they end up playing video games. She thanks him for cheering her up and kisses him on the cheek. He has such a crush on her, surely she notices?

Alejandro and Lorena arrive back at Marta’s and he gives her a comforting hug followed by kisses. (I STILL cannot believe no one is shadowing him). He smiles like a man in love.

Florencia rings Nico’s doorbell (in more ways than one). Dinner is already on the table along with a couple of bottles of cokes (does he not have glasses?). He touches her hair saying she is finally free. He starts complimenting her; she is hermosa, intelligent, yada, yada. He nuzzles her neck and they head into the bedroom.

Vincente looks at a picture of Gabriela on his phone as the doorbell rings. Nopis, not the Avon lady but Charo! She actually gives him a genuine smile (who knew she could do such a thing?) and suggests he return home but he tells her this is his home. She lists some delicious delicacies but he doesn’t seem interested.

FUGITIVAS #49 Part 2

Alejandro goes to Sofia’s. I think she tells him she hasn’t been able to learn anything from Arturo’s phone conversations.

Looks like Charo has worked her culinary magic; Vincente is eating and seems appreciative; he calls her a taxi.

Vincente sadly inhales the scent of Gabriela’s sweater.

Dario has milk (it does a body good that’s for sure). 😊

Marta leaves the house as Carmen hides behind a car, watching her.

“Vincente” the doctor says, approaching him. Vincente asks how Gabriela is. I apologize but I could not understand his answer.

Sofia and Alejandro strategize and when he next see them, they have their headsets on as Alejandro dials Arturo’s number. The equipment distorts his voice as Alejandro identifies himself as Carlos Vilchis. Where are you Arturo roars? Alejandro answers that he wants money as he and Sofia look at each other and smile.

Carmen “surprises” Marta at the market. Marta is civil but then Carmen brings up Dario and then starts in on Frida. She stars badmouthing her but Marta tells her to stop. Marta then turns an icy stare on Carmen and she finally leaves.

Sofia and Alejandro listen in as Arturo calls the thug, telling him Vilchis called him and is demanding money. Sofia and Alejandro’s plan worked!

Dario is making a yummy looking salsa when Frida come into the kitchen. I think he wants to go with her to the doctors. He greets Lorena pleasantly.

Arturo opens his safe just as Lisset walks in on him with a cup of coffee. He is furious but of course by then, she’s already gotten a good gander at the safe. And the money.

Charo and Florencia talk about Vincente and Gabriela. Charo sees Florencia’s suitcase and realizes she is back.

FUGITIVAS #49 Part 3 of 3

Amanda is interrupted as she talks with one of the policemen. She is called into the room where they are listening in on Alejandro and Sofia’s planned conversation. After, Ale and Sofia fist bump, knowing their plan is working. Amanda goes to her father and wants to be in on the “meet”.

Marta tells the women she “ran” into Carmen who did not speak kindly about Frida. Frida confesses that she has known Carmen for years; actually Perla, as that is her real name. Oh by the way, Carmen is also married! Por Dios Marta exclaims.

Florencia strides into work and Vero comments on her happy appearance. If only she knew!!

Amanda and the policemen are watching as Alejandro alights and walks through the park, Amanda follows stealthily in pursuit. Alejandro meets the Thug who calls him an imbecile. Where is Vilchis the thug asks?

Charo leaves and Lisset rubs it in that she trusts her enough to leave her “alone” there.

Marquez is the murderer Alejandro insists as the thug pulls a gun. All of a sudden, Amanda and the police run out from hiding, guns drawn. Detective Rojas Alejandro says with a hint of a smile.

Montse fills Lorena in on what they know of Frida’s illness.

The police arrest the Thug.

Lisset runs up to her mother who is taking the trash out, smiling and saying “mama”. She turns and yells at her to leave or she will call the police. Why? A broken-hearted Lisset pleads; por favor, forgive me she begs. Her mother’s heart (and face) are cold as stone. Lisset shakes her head and says “adios mama”. “Adios” is the coldhearted response. Is this woman human??

Alejandro and Amanda have a conversation about Vilchis and the thug I could not translate.

Alejandro and Amanada are in Patricio’s office. Patricio pulls out a packet of pictures of people seen entering the hospital. Lo and behold we see the Thug ascending the hospital stairs!

Gabriela’s eyelids start to flutter as she turns in her bed…

Wow! Lorena actually reads the prayer off of the Our Lady of Lourdes holy card the cab driver gave her.

That rat Nico is still badmouthing Ismael and wants Amanda to tell Nájera that Ismael isn't doing his job and that he also had a romantic relationship with Lorena. That is why she is still on the loose. He would do it but he and Ismael were friends for such a long time. . . but somebody has to do it. Amanda seems to have finally awakened and has had a change of heart as far as Ismael is concerned. She tells Nico that she will do no such thing. Ismael hasn't done things like she would have in the investigation but that doesn't mean that he has been doing a bad job. Furthermore, he has aways been good with her. If Lorena hasn't been captured, it isn't his fault. Rat Nico doesn't agree. He tells he to think it over. Nájera would be grateful to her for the info.

Nico cannot stand Vero but Flo still will not allow him to break it off with Vero if he wants to continue with her.

Frida tells Marta exactly who Carmen is: a woman named Perla who worked as an exotic table dancer. Frida worked as the cashier. Marta asks if she "had anything to do" with the customers. Frida only knows that the customers put money in her clothes.

Darío wanted Frida to wait until the next day to go pick up her test results and go see the doctor together. She tries to talk him out of it but then later decides to go the same day so she doesn't have to go with him. Lorena reminds Lisset that Frida had fainted a while ago. They hope she is okay.

Amanda asks Alejandro where he knows the thug from. He says that a few days ago he showed up at this place to threaten him. He told him if he didn't drop Lorena's case, he was going to go after Gabriela, his uncle Alfredo and Sofía. He is a very violent guy. He is sure that he was the one who almost beat Vilchis to death Amanda can place the thug now a the hospital where he was watching Vilchis. Alejandro says he was going to meet Vilchis at the park but he never showed up. He has no idea why the thug was there. Amanda wants to know why he was there to see Vilchis. Alejandro cannot believe her question because if anyone knows what is going on with the Lorena case, it is her. He asks her if she didn't know that Vilchis was going to be his witness on behalf of Lorena in court and that Vilchis never got to court because of the beating he got. She says she knows everything and that also Vilchis blamed Lorena for the beating. He didn't show up in court because Lorena had threatened him. Alejandro counters saying that they all can believe that, but it isn't what happened. He then asks her what she was doing tin the park. She answers that she is a police officer and works on the streets. Alejandro laughs knowingly and remarks "what luck, right?"

"Amanda seems to have finally awakened and has had a change of heart as far as Ismael is concerned". Yes, a small but important step. She still has a journey in front of her but she's on the right path.

I was so happy to see Nico frustrated he has to keep up the pretense with Vero! He deserves the torment; he's such a louse.

Poor Dario - the calm before the storm!

I so appreciate your careful translation of Amanda and Alejandro's talk. I'm glad he told her that truth. "Alejandro cannot believe her question because if anyone knows what is going on with the Lorena case, it is her" was great. She is a smart woman; certainly she doesn't believe Lorena was the one who threatened Vilchis?

This was such an entertaining episode. I especially enjoyed Alejandro and Sofía setting up the sting and how everything played right into their hands. What will Arturo do now with his favorite thug in police custody?

Nico is a “louse” indeed. I think that he only wanted Amanda to make the complaint to Nájera so if it didn’t go well, she would take the blame.

I also feel sorry for Darío who could have his heart broken in more ways than one.

I have a feeling the roof is going to fall in for poor Dario soon. Yes, I feel for him too. He was pretty awful in the beginning but has mellowed and is a better person.

Juana #44 part 1of 3

Paula and Camila meet with Nahuel and his group. Camila makes it clear Paula is hiring them. Someone is taking pictures of them. Paula’s bracelet falls off and Camila uses her foot to slide it away.

Rogelio asks about the event. Manuel says they’re signing a contract and not changing the name of the brewery. Rogelio says don’t be to sure. Manuel mentions he saw Rogelio leave with Camila. He’s told that’s none of his business. Amparo comes in worried about what Paula will do. She has no limits. Manuel tells her about the scene at the brewery. Amparo tells Rogelio she’s like he is.

David asks Gabriel if he’s sure about him taking care of Juana. Gabriel says it’s someone close to him that tried to kill him, like Rogelio. David tells him he never liked Rogelio and everyone knows he’d be angry if the brewery was doing well and happy when they weren’t, he wants to own it. Gabriel says that would be impossible as he lacks enough shares. David mentions Jamie Prado, who wanted to buy shares.

Camila says Paula should show the goons Juana’s house. Paula’s not happy about that.

David talks about being a second dad to the baby. He’d be with him on the days Gabriel doesn’t have him. Gabriel is confused and breaks the news to him that he and Juana reconciled. David feels like an idiot. Gabriel tells him he and Juana care about him.

Camacho tells Rogelio that Paula and Camila went to Camila’s neighborhood. Rogelio thinks about what Amparo said.

Paula and Camila show the three goons Juana’s house. Paula wants it to look like an accident. Jenny and Juana come out and she points out Juana. The goons think it will be easy.

Carlos and Gabriel are speaking highly of David. Gabriel mentions David doesn’t trust Rogelio and then mentions Jamie Prado. Carlos agrees but there’s no proof.

Josefina is teaching Margarita how to make hot cakes. Felipe comes in and doesn’t really speak. Josefina says something went bad with the girlfriend.

Carlos comes into Enriqueta’s office and apologizes for the night before. She’s a great woman.

Salvador is thinking of his conversation with Jenny when they almost kissed. He gives Pacheco a picture of Ramon and the new name, Antonio Jose. Pacheco wants to bring him home to Margarita.

Juana #44 part 2

Gabriel calls Juana. He thinks the two of them should be…not sure if it was licenceros-and my spelling is bad. Whatever they call Gabriel. Juana says first she has to have the baby and graduate. Gabriel tells her he told David about their reconciliation. She wanted to but didn’t know how. Gabriel says they’re going to be together forever. She’s afraid to think that way because on Paula and Camila.

Enriqueta tells Inez she’s upset at how Felipe acted in front of her coworkers. Inez said he acted jealous. Some men feel insecure with a successful woman. Then she asks if she’ll go back to Carlos. Enriqueta doesn’t know how Inez could think that.

Dani is at David’s. She tells him she knew about the reconciliation. David says he made a fool of himself with Juana because he didn’t know. Dani’s going but David asks for help getting dressed. He’s going to work.

The three goons take a taxi to the neighborhood to scope it out for a good place for the accident. They notice a lot of people around and then see Margarita in the window. Pepito sees them and bangs on the door. He tells Josefina who grabs a rolling pin. Felipe goes out with a lead pipe.

Camila and Paula are arguing. Paula thinks Camila put her in danger. Camila’s taking a risk too. But Paula is a model with a famous face. Camila says maybe Paula wants to get rid of her too.

Felipe says they got away with He has to go to work. He has Pepito and Margarita check the windows. Josefina asks him about his date and he tells her she was right, he doesn’t fit in her world.

Jenny and Fabio are doing heavy cleaning at the restaurant. And complaining. They blame the video.

Carlos shows Gabriel a folder of positive reports on the fusion. Gabriel asks Carlos about his personal life. When Enriqueta started working there they had a relationship that they hid. But Enriqueta felt he was hiding her. Juana and his love has inspired him to try again. Gabriel tells him she’s seeing Juana’s uncle but Carlos says after last night that relationship is over.

Diana, thanks as usual. The Dr said that the swelling has gone down a lot. Still no definitive time frame on coming out of the coma, but when she does she may have to relearn how to speak, walk etc. I think amnesia is likely. I think he said she will need prolonged therapy.

Liz, good job, if I mention things you didn't it is because I found them humorous. I particularly noticed the weapons of choice by the Bravo's. Rolling pin for Josefina, I thought it was a large flashlight that Felipe grabbed, and the funniest was the holy statue ( virgin Mary) that Margarita weilded. It made another appearance when Juana arrived home surprising Margarita. I know there is another part coming so I will comment again after that.
 

Juana #44 part 3

Dani is acting strange around David, very awkward. He asks what’s wrong and she says nothing and turns away- something’s in her eye. The girls all clap when he walks in. Then he happily gives them orders and they get to work. Vanesa and Inez are talking. Inez saw her sneak off with Manuel. Vanesa says they did everything and he’s super hot, but the walls have ears, they’ll talk later.

Juana comes home thinking of Gabriel. Margarita almost attacks her and they both scream. Margarita tells her about the robbers and Juana hugs her.

Rent is looking at his phone. Camila comes over to see the pictures. He doesn’t want her to involve him again. He needs his job. He asks about her mother and is happy she’s moved in with Camila. She tells him he can visit whenever he wants.

Rogelio is looking at his computer and saying Gabriel’s luck will soon run out. Camacho comes in with good news. Construction is going to be stopped and he can move Francisco’s body.

Paula realizes her bracelet is missing. Lorenzo, the model, comes up, he wants to hook up but Paula says she’s trying to get her husband back. Lorenzo says she’s only with him for the status he brings her. They’ll soon be working together and he’ll see if she can resist him.

One of the goons mentions Juana is pregnant and a virgin, a miracle. Nahuel shows his gun and the money and says this is the only miracle. Tonight she’ll have her accident.

Josefina is telling Mismo about the robbers. Juana thinks she should call Salvador but Josefina doesn’t want to bother him. Juana calls him and tells him what happened.

Gabriel is at the hacienda. Tomas is going to the paddock. Gabriel goes to change and go with him.

Someone is driving Camacho near the hacienda. Gabriel and Tomas are with the horses when they see headlights. They get the horses. The two men are carrying the body and Gabriel is around a bush calling out, with a flashlight

The three goons are at Juana’s, by the statue. One prayers to the virgin. They put masks on and one climbs and puts out the streetlight.

Felipe is in Enriqueta’s apartment when she comes home. He’s waiting for her, she asks why he didn’t wait outside. He returns the keys.

Camila is looking for her bracelet in the sofa cushions. For a minute she wonders if Camila’s trying to trap her.

Juana gets up for water and hears something. Then she hears a cat and opens the door. The goons grab her.

Very grateful you explained...That was an interesting diagnosis, leaving the door open for a plethora of possibilities! Gabriela could very well have amenesia, as it's a dependable TN staple :)

If anyone is a virgin, my bet is on Dani. She was totally flustered helping David get dressed, and then imagining him half naked later. I'm assuming he has been doing his own pants and underwear up to this point, so she should have called him on that. Helping with a button up work shirt I can see.

I'm confused where the body has been hidden up to this point. Are they moving it to the hacienda to incriminate Gabriel? They have been talking about a tree, was he buried under some new landscaping to this point? I would think that body would be pretty gross smelling by now.

Gabriel has had an attempt on his life so he goes after trespassers with a flashlight and no backup....sounds about par for dumb galans.

Kat, the body smelling was my first thought! I figured David was wesring sweat pants that you just pull up. Rogelio’s plan was to make Gabriel look guilty of the murder. Doesn’t make sense, since he was shot at. I couldn’t figure out if the tree was a code, Camacho said something about moving the tree, so landscapers would do that. He also said construction was stopped, so they could move the body.

Gabriel wasn’t the only foolish one, Juana opened the door and went out at night. She was worried Paula and Camila would try something. And then 3 robbers we’re there. I also wonder what he did with his partner’s body. Francisco has been dead 3 months!

FUGITIVAS #50 Part 1

Gabriela’s eyelids start to flutter as she squirms in her bed…She turns her head and looks around, trying to comprehend where she is. The nurse calls for the doctor, explaining to Gabriela that she is in the hospital, asking her to remain calm. Gabriela murmurs about wanting to go home and gets increasingly agitated. A tranquilizer is injected into the IV feed.

Ismael is with Amanda and Patricio. When the other two leave, Nico enters and threatens Amanda. She stands up to him and imperceptibly shakes her head as he leaves.

Lisset, shoulders heaving as she cries, answers her phone, it’s Erick. What is it he asks concernedly. She wants to meet; he agrees with a smile.

Vincente is in class settling some minor student disputes. He gets a call from the hospital, grabs his jacket and rushes out, leaving his students to their own devices. (Could you imagine that happening in real life? The kids would have the classroom in shambles) 😊.

Ismael and Patricio interview the Thug; we learn his name is Aldo. Patricio asks him what happened with Alejandro and Vilchis as Nico and Amanda watch from behind the two-way mirror. Patricio continues to hurl questions at him but Aldo doesn’t answer and simply smirks.

Frida is at the doctor’s office looking like death warmed over. She asks him a favor; she wants to keep her illness a secret from her novio. If it was said exactly what her illness is, I did not catch it. I believe he says her medical records are confidential and he writes her a script.

Aldo watches the computer video of Vilchis in the hospital parking lot. Aldo demands a lawyer as Patricio looks as though he would like to throttle him. Amanda takes Aldo out of the room.

We see Frida walking down the street, tearing up the script muttering “nunca, nunca!”

Aldo calls Arturo saying he needs his help to get out of jail free. Naturally Arturo is livid that he was arrested. Amanda tries to listen and quickly walks over and tells him to hang up.

Alejandro calls Sofia, something about the clinic and Gabriela.

Dario is stocking the bar with Cokes when Frida returns. I think she lies to him that everything is fine and they kiss.

Vincente literally slides on the hospital floor asking about Gabriela.

FUGITIVAS #50 Part 2

Ismael and Patricio are talking when Ismael gets notified Aldo’s attorney is here. (Arturo works fast doesn’t he??) He spews silt that his client is innocent. Ismael accuses Aldo of hurting Claudio Vilchis, the lawyer simply smirks.

The doctor tells Vincente that Gabriela is “bien”. She is confused he avers, which is normal. The doctor accompanies him to her room.

The smarmy lawyer, Attorney Castro, talks with Aldo but I cannot supply what they discussed.

Erick and Lisset meet and he is his always supportive self as she pours out her heartache. She talks about her mother threatening to turn her into the police. Erick supports and comforts her, telling her she is fantastic and strokes her hair.

“Mi amor” Vincente says to Gabriela as he sits on her hospital bed. I love you with all of my heart he tells her. She doesn’t respond.

Alejandro tells Ismael, Amanda, Patricio and the lawyer that Aldo is violent and put a gun to his side. Amanda, who was there, backs him up but the lawyer continues to say it wasn’t his client’s intention, blah blah.

Ismael takes Alejandro out of the room. Ismael complains to Alejandro for wanting to act against Aldo (which I can’t understand as it seemed perfectly reasonable to me). Alejandro is adamant that Vilchis escaped because he was terrified. I think he also said Arturo ordered Aldo to run over Gabriela. Ismael doesn’t seem to agree.

Sofia shows up at the hospital, saying she is a friend of Gabriela’s. She is told Gabriela has come out of the coma!

Poor Lisset goes home and sits, evaporating in tears telling Lorena and Montse she went to see her mother who not only won’t forgive her but who wants to turn her into the police! Lisset tells them they are her family and the three amigas hug. I think Lisset tells Lorena that she saw the contents of Arturo’s safe that contains cash, documents and a hard drive. She is convinced there is something that proves he is involved in Juan Pablo's death.

Sofia tells Alejandro Gabriela is out of the coma; he is thrilled. He immediately calls Lorena to meet…

Vincente is still with Gabriela when a stretcher arrives so she can be taken for tests. He tells her he loves her as she is wheeled out.

Amanda gives Aldo a Sammie and a drink but he still won’t talk. She peppers him about Lorena and Vilchis but he just continues to stuff his face. She asks him about protection but he isn’t interested.

Lorena enters Alejandro’s apartment and they hug. She meets Sofia and thanks her for all she has done. He has wonderful news, Sofia found out that Gabriela is out of her coma! Of course she wants to go right away but can’t. He uses the good news as leverage for some extra lip candy. “Te quiero mucho” he tells her. He talks about Marquez then he tells her he and Sofia have a plan…

Matias and Marta have a heart to heart. He tells her of his feelings for Lisset…

The Oasis is in full swing as Dario and Frida get frisky behind the bar.

Matias writes “Yulissa” a letter telling her of his feelings.

Ismael looks at Lorena’s picture as Alejandro’s assertion she is innocent reverberates through his head. He remembers them being together and looks rueful.

Dario and Frida are in bed (fully clothed). He gets up just in time to see Matias slide the letter under Lisset’s door. He picks it up…

Amanda, Patricio and Ismael meet up the next morning and talk with Aldo’s lawyer. He has a woman with him who I believe says that Aldo Ramirez is very violent (?)

Dario sits on the bed reading the letter. Frida starts to wrap herself around him when he gets up, shaking her off. He now knows she escaped from prison!

The dialog was fast, furious and plentiful. I couldn’t begin to keep up. I hope I got some of this right. Kindly add to or correct.

Ismael tells Amanda and Patricio that Alejandro indeed filed a complaint about a man who came to his house to threaten him and hit him. He did not know the man.Patricio asks if they did a drawing of the perpetrator. Ismael answers that they did. If the drawing looks like the person they have arrested, they will be able to confirm he is the man who threatened Alejandro. Amanda says the man in custody is Aldo Ramírez Negrete. (The THUG now has a name!) She is sure he is working with Lorena and must have some info about her whereabouts. Nico tells them that Aldo is the owner of a private security company.

Nico is angry that Amanda didn't include him when they went out in the field where all of the action happened. That was not the deal. He says it happened once but if it happens again, he will be have a long conversation with Ismael. She says she understands.

Erick tells the kids that he is going to ask Yolanda to come to be with them and is out of there! (Yes, Diana this is surely a fantasy classroom. Too funny)

The doctor never tells Frida what her illness is but it seems that they both know. (Guess we don't count) She asks him how much longer she has to live. He says that some people with her sickness have lived long lives as long as they were treated. It all depends on their immune system. The meds strengthen that system. She asks that he not tell anyone about her condition. He says he won't but suggests that she find a good friend who she can talk to. He writes her prescriptions for her meds to keep her going. She rips them up on her way home saying that Darío is never gong to know about her illness.

Aldo tells Arturo that Vilchis never showed but Alejandro did. Alejandro pulled a fast one on them. He assures Arturo he hasn't said a thing but he needs a lawyer.

Alejandro calls Sofía to tell her that the scheme went as planned. He thenasks her to go to the hospital and check on Gabriela so he can tell Lorena about how she is doing.

Frida does tell Darío that everything went fine with the doctor and that there is nothing wrong with her. She was extremely tired the other day because she was extremely tired; nothing more.

EXTRAS #2

Patricio tells Ismael that Aldo is well-trained and knows how to manage an interrogation. Ismael thinks it comes with having a security company.

Aldo's lawyer is Iván Castro who Ismael recognizes as one of the most respected criminal lawyers around. Iván is grateful to Ismael for letting his client call him. Ismael answers there is nothing to be grateful for. It is the law.

Amanda tells Alejandro that Aldo has not said a word. Alejandro cannot believe that Iván Castro is Aldo's lawyer. He would be surprised if Aldo could pay his fees.

Iván apologizes for his client and cuts Alejandro short saying in reality this was a regrettable situation. Alejandro tells him his client is a very violent man. Iván tries to cut him off again and Ismael says they will let Alejandro finish. He says Aldo took out a gun. It was attempted murder. Iván insists it was a mistake.

Amanda speaks up as a witness saying that his client took out a gun and stuck it in Alejandro's stomach. Iván doubts Aldo would have pulled the trigger since surely his intention was to give Alejandro a scare because Alejandro had provoked him. Iván asks what was Amanda doing in the park anyway. Was she there with Alejandro to frame his client. Amanda says of course not. It was by chance that she was there. Iván also knows there were two agents from the prosecutor's office there with her. He asks if that was a coincidence, too.

Patricio reminds him that his client was carrying a gun and that is a crime. Iván says not so fast. His client has a license to carry a gun due to his owning a private security company. Alejandro says that gives him no right to be threatening people. Iván insists again he only wanted to give Alejandro a scare.

Jarifa, this last extra was needed by me! Thanks for the rest of the story ... I figured that lady was an alibi witness or something, I missed she was a Dr at the hospital. I wonder if she really is.

Don't you love how the writers are toying with us on the mystery Frida illness.

Diana I thought that Dario asked Frida if she knew that Lisette was a Fugitiva, I don't think he realizes she is also, (yet.) I thought it was a bit of an invasion of his son's privacy to read the note he wrote.

Ismael wants Alejandro to tell him exactly what he talked about with Aldo and why Aldo took out his gun. Alejandro says that Aldo showed up at his home and threatened him. He said if he didn't drop Lorena's case, he was going to hurt Gabriela, his uncle and Sofía. He says that Aldo didn't live up to his part of the bargain. Gabriela was the victim of a hit and run. Ismael says Vicente asked him to look into it. They have video from the street cameras but you can't see the face of the driver. The car was stolen the night before. Alejandro insists it was Aldo. He is also sure that it was Arturo who ordered Aldo to beat up Vilchis so he would not be able to testify to the judge. That is why Aldo was watching Vilchis at the hospital. He asks Ismael when is he going to realize that Lorena had nothing to do with the death of his friend. It has all been perfectly planned by Arturo. Lorena is innocent. Ismael asks why was Alejandro going to meet Vilchis. He wanted to convince him to change his testimony and Aldo showed up instead. He wants Ismael to realize that they are watching and have threatened Vilchis. Ismael tells Alejandro that he is evidently in contact with Vilchis so he should get him to come to his office and explain to him why he didn't show up in court to change his testimony. If what Alejandro is saying is true, Lorena would be proven innocent. Alejandro says he has no way of locating him. Ismael reminds him that he was going to meet him and now he says he doesn't have a way of locating him??? Alejandro says that Vilchis contacted him and said he wanted to see him at the Metro Park. He asked to see him because he was afraid of what could happen to him and his sister for not showing up in court. Ismael is angry he didn't let him know so they could have worked on this together. Because Alejandro worked alone, Vilchis has disappeared and there is no way to prove what Alejandro is saying.

Iván tells Ismael that Aldo got his gun out because he thought that Alejandro was approaching him with a strange attitude and he was going to attack him. He was only defending himself. Alejandro thinks that is ridiculous. Iván insistd that his client should be free. There are no aggravating circumstances, Alejandro is not wounded. Alejandro reminds them that Aldo had already threatened him at his own house and that he had filed a complaint. Iván asks if he has proof that Aldo was at his home. Alejandro says no but if he stuck a gun in his stomach, it was because he had decided to kill him. Iván says Alejandro has no proof of anything. Iván asks Ismael if he has a personal relationship with Alejandro that he might be benefitting from with this arrest. Ismael warns him about any insinuations he is making. He is talking with an authority from the prosecutor's office. He dismisses Alejandro.

He tells Iván that they still do not have any idea of the relationship between his client and Vilchis. Iván insists that Aldo doesn't know that man. Ismael says there is nothing more to discuss and orders Aldo to be transferred to a prison. Iván goes to see his client.

The next day Iván shows up at the ministerio público with a Camila Vargas who is there to testify that she hired Aldo to protect her from her violent husband. She works at the Noceda Hospital as a doctor. If Aldo appears in the hospital videos it is because he was there at her request.

"Smarmy" is the perfect word to describe Ivan. So haughty, so despicable. Glib, he had an answer for everything didn't he? But in truth, Alejandro's case seems rather solid although as you noted "Ivan is one slippery lawyer who seems to pull every trick out of his hat to see which one will stick..." Exactly.

Juana #45 part 1 of 3

The men grab Juana. As she struggles a flowerpot is knocked over and Margarita wakes up. The men throw Juana down the stairs from the roof.

Tomas catches up to Gabriel but they don’t see the men. Or the car. How do they not see a car. Camacho and the other guy pick up the body.

Margarita finds Juana unconscious. She yells for help and Jenny and Josefina come. Josefina decides she’s breathing.

Camacho and his buddy dig a hole. Gabriel rides back and tells Tomas he found nothing. Tomas thinks someone may be having a party. Gabriel is worried because of everything that’s been happening. They call all the guys at the horse barn and send them out checking.

Josefina and Jenny are still bent over Juana. Josefina thinks it might have been the robbers from the morning. Josefina is running, yelling for help and our héroe, Salvador appears. He checks her pulse, they ask why she won’t wake up. Salvador says she’ll be ok. Josefina thinks she might have fallen. Margarita mentions that Felipe saw the three robbers that morning. Then they see blood. Salvador calls for an ambulance. Josefina tells Jenny to be calm.

Felipe is handing the keys back to Enriqueta. He feels he had a right to be jealous. She says since his dad’s reappearance his emotions have been out of control. She ‘s willing to give him a chance if he can control his emotions. His phone rings. She says she’s not finished, don’t answer it. But it’s his mom and he has to. He then tell’s Enriqueta he has to go.

The ambulance has Juana on the gurney with an oxygen mask. Jenny faints. Salvador catches her and puts her on the sofa. They tell Josefina Juana is fine. They take her away. Salvador will take Josefina and Jenny to the hospital. Margarita is afraid to be alone. Salvador says he’ll send Pacheco over.

The workers didn’t find anything. Gabriel is still upset and Tomas tells him all he saw headlights. He calls Juana, no answer but he leaves a message that he needs to hear her.

Camacho calls Rogelio to tell him the tree is in the land. Guess it was a code word. Rogelio says he’ll see him tomorrow.

Paula wants to go by Juana’s house. Camila doesn’t think that’s a good idea.

At the hospital Felipe thinks it’s his fault because he wasn’t home. Salvador is once again the voice of calm and reason. Josefina had made sure the house was locked up but thinks maybe the three goons weren’t robbers but assassins. And Juana maybe didn’t fall but was pushed. Salvador will send a team to the house to investigate. They thank Salvador. Jenny wants him to stay but he has to go, they hug. Josefina is now the optimistic one, Juana will be fine. They pray. The doctor asks if she feels any contractions. The baby is well, the doctor will do all she can to keep the baby well.

All the neighbors are out in the street. And police. Paula and Camila sit in the car. Paula wants to stay, she’s enjoying this after all the pain Juana caused her. Nuehuel calls Camila to tell her the job was done.

Juana 45 part 2

Gabriel arrives at the hospital. Jenny greets him but Josefina wants him to go. He’s caused them nothing but pain. She says to pay your debt, David took a bullet for you and now Juana is hurt. They all tell him about the Three robbers. The doctor comes out. Juana wants to see Gabriel.He asks how the baby is and Josefina thinks that’s his only concern. Jenny says she’s the mom, Josefina says she’s the grandmother, Felipe says he’s the uncle. The doctor tells them Juana is an adult and wants Gabriel.

Margarita tells Pacheco she saw the three men. She’s crying and worried. Salvador comes in and asks Margarita to tell him exactly what she saw last night and she does.

Gabriel and Juana are talking. He’s going to make who did this to her pay. She’s worried about the baby. Gabriel tells her the doctor says the baby is fine. Juana wants him to promise that if it’s a choice between her life or the baby she wants the baby saved. He wants her to promise the baby will always come before the both of them.

The doctor tells the family that Juana has to rest for 48 hours. But with so many germs in the hospital she’s going home. They’re pleased.

Margarita is telling Dani what happened. Dani is upset, this can’t be.

Gabriel thanks Juana for taking such good care of the baby. She asks why this happened. He says it’s his fault. He has enemies that want to hurt him and she and the baby are the most important thing in his life. Juana says his enemies are her enemies. We’ll face this together. He’s the love of his life and they’ll face it together.

Salvador things the robbery theory is strange. He asks Pacheco to ask neighbors if they saw anything. He gets a call. They found someone that fits Ramon’ s description. He’ll check it out. He wants to confirm it before Pacheco says anything.

Dani comes into Enriqueta’s office to tell her about Juana.

Juana is in a wheelchair leaving the hospital. The family greets her. She apologizes for asking for Gabriel. He’s the father of my baby. Gabriel tells the family he’s sending his guard, Gerardo, to guard their house, and them. Jenny goes with Juana and Gabriel. Josefina says she’ll go with Felipe. Felipe mentions to Josefina the danger Juana is in.

Juana # 45 part 3

A nun leads Salvador to a sad looking Ramon. She says the guest is Antonio Jose. He sits on the bench with him and says Ramon Bravo. Ramon looks up at him.

Dani comes up to David and tells him about Juana.

Camacho goes into Rogelio’s office. He tells him the tree is planted and how they almost were seen. He asks what next and Rogelio tells him his work is done, the rest is up to Rogelio.

They all get home. Margarita was so frightened. She mentions Pepito saw the three goons Juana is greatful Margarita woke up. Josefina gets a phone call.

At the brewery Camila is on the phone when Carlos tells her he can’t reach Gabriel. Enriqueta comes in and tells them Juana is in the hospital. Camila’s face drops. Meanwhile Paula brings two drinks in to her mother to toast the end of Juana. Her mom has some tears and doesn’t toast

Jenny, Margarita and Juana are all in Juana’s bedroom. Jenny wants her to sleep for 48 hours. Juana tells her it’s rest, not sleep. Juana tells them things will change for the better, Gabriel and she are stronger than ever. Gabriel, Gerardo and Felipe are talking. Gabriel introduces Gerardo to Felipe, who tells him he’s at his disposal. Felipe won’t need him but he’s pleased he’s here for the family. They shake hands. Felipe had his doubts but now feels the family needs Gabriel’s help. Gabriel apologizes for all the trouble he’s caused. He loves Juana. Felipe is convinced the universe wants them together.

Jenny can’t find her mom. Margarita says she left in a hurry. Jenny thinks she went to church. She mentions their dad.

Gabriel is in Juana’s room, alone with her. But she’s still a virgin. Thanks for permitting me in your space. Juana says this is where I dreams of you, cry, love you. They kiss Gabriel doesn’t want to go. He wants her to move into the hacienda with him. He’s alone there. She need to talk to the family.

Camila calls Paula to tell her Juana is in the hospital. Paula is very upset, she says now they’ll investigate what happened, they might get investigated.Camila points out it was Paula that wanted Juana dead. Paula thinks Camila hung up on her but Camila is recording Paula saying they didn’t kill Juana like she ordered.

Josefina thanks Salvador and goes to Ramon on the bench. He wants to explain but she tells him it’s not necessary, she tells him to come home, his place is with his family.
