FUGITIVAS #46 Part 1

Gabriela is crossing the street when a car drives up, plowing into her, running her down! We see her on the ground, rolling over due to the sheer, brutal force of the impact.

Lisset and Matias have heart to heart and all is well as they fist bump and she kisses his cheek.

A crowd has gathered around Gabriela whose face is bloodied and battered. She is still unconscious on the ground. (We never see what happened with the car/driver who hit her). A woman gets Vincente’s number from Gabriela’s phone; she tries to reach him but he doesn’t recognize the number and doesn’t answer. The medics arrive and the woman tells the driver she can’t reach the victim’s family. Gabriela is lifted up on a stretcher and taken into the van.

Marta talks with Montse who is raving about Facundo; unimpressed, Marta asks her to use her head. Montse asserts she has it all under control (doubtful!) and walks out.

Florencia tells Charo things are “mal”. Charo asks her if she is sad. Florencia natters on.

At breakfast, Dario tells Frida she has to go to the doctor. She says it is ridiculous but it doesn’t appear Dario is going to give her a choice.

Alejandro and Lorena talk, she is very happy. How is my sister? Alejandro gives Lorena the “skinny”. Her fellow Fugitivas are still working at the Oasis. He tells her that Gabriela doesn’t know where she is; she cannot know now due to everything going on with the Marquez family “Te amo” she says.

Montse meets Facundo at an outside restaurant at a country club (as golf carts glide by). They talk about movies, Montse prefers romantic movies. All of a sudden, Facundo starts choking! (I would think the Heimlich maneuver might have come in handy but no one makes a move to see if anything is lodged in his throat). Montse puts him in a golf cart and they are off.

True to his word, Vincente is in the middle of a meeting with an agency that works with those who are destitute and living on the streets. His phone rings and not recognizing the number, hangs up. Again.

Gabriela is on a gurney being rushed down the hospital corridor.

FUGITIVAS #46 Part 2

Frida looks weak as she rises from her bed. She clearly doesn’t want to go to the doctor but Dario convinces her. Vamos she says.

Vincente finally calls the number and the woman tells him that Gabriela was in an accident and was rushed to the hospital!

Frida tells Dario she wants to see the doctor alone.

Facundo is put in a wheelchair and taken away to be seen. Montse, sits in the waiting room area, clearly worried.

Alejandro meets with Carmen’s lawyer, telling him he represents Dario. He states the facts: Dario and Carmen weren’t married, had no children and were together for less than five years. He doesn’t give the lawyer a chance to say anything, quickly standing up, saying “con permiso” and leaving. I thought the lawyer looked at him as though he had two heads.

The doctor examines Frida who tells her she has red spots on her stomach (it looked like an aggravated rash to me. A quick google search indicated red marks on the abdomen could be indicative of skin condition, rash, eczema or perhaps skin cancer). He wants her to have some tests and writes out a prescription. It doesn’t appear he thinks it is too serious. After, Dario kisses a guilty-looking Frida.

At work, Lorena is talking with one of the dancers; the owner is impressed and asks if she has children.

Annoying Vero calls Nico. She wants to see him that night but he begs off. She then suggests the next night. She is relentless! He finally hangs up as she grins like a moron.

Vincente arrives at the hospital asking for Gabriela. Montse, sitting in the waiting room overhears and is wide eyed impactada.

The doctor is with Facundo. I could not understand his diagnosis but I believe he said it wasn’t serious.

FUGITIVAS #46 Part 3

Vincente is at the emergency room desk trying to get information. He sits in front of Montse who puts her hand on his shoulder and commiserates with him. He doesn’t know who she is but seems to appreciate her kindness.

Florencia asks Arturo if he has time to talk. Of course. She tells him about Ismael. He calls him an idiot and consoles his daughter, hugging her. He looks displeased.

The doctor talks to Vincente. Unfortunately, Gabriela suffered severe head trauma and due to a concussion, has lapsed into a coma. Montse is on the verge of tears.

Vincente calls Florencia and says that Gabriela was run over and is in a coma. She rushes out. Vero interrupts her but Florencia puts her hand out and says Gabriela is in the hospital and walks off in her face.

Dario is back at the bar. All of a sudden we hear maracas and Frida comes out from behind the curtain dancing away as though she is fit as a fiddle. “Wow” Dario says impressed; he tells her she is marvelous. Dario is so happy (let the poor guy enjoy it while he can). Happiness is short lived as Carmen pops up asking if she is interrupting! Dario and Frida quickly break apart and stare at her.

Florencia rushes to Vincente. He explains the situation just as Facundo comes out to talk with Montse. Montse tells Vincente he hopes his girlfriend gets better. Florencia asks her brother who she is.

A livid Carmen has a hissy fit, calling Dario a disgrace. Dario tells her the obvious, they are separated. She starts to go after Frida but Dario holds her back. He isn’t giving her one peso. She tries to hit Frida with her pocketbook but Dario quickly hustles her out.

Patricio and Marta have dinner. He tells her he was greatly affected by his father’s death. No Coca Colas today!

Dario kisses Frida, trying to soothe her. He makes it clear how he feels about her and wants to be sure the doctor takes good care of her.

FUGITIVAS #46 Part 4 of 4
The doctor comes out to Vincente saying he can see Gabriela.

Montse comes in and spirits Frida away to talk in the bedroom. She tells her that Gabriela is in a coma. Lorena’s sister Frida gasps? Yes! Montse tells her that Florencia, Vincente’s sister was there as well. Frida does the right thing and immediately calls Erick telling him what happened.

Vincente is gowned up as he enters Gabriela’s room. “Mi amor” he cries as he removes his mask. Forgive me he begs. He tells her she is going to get better, she must get better, te amo. He puts his hand gently on her arm.

Lisset has a piece of paper in her hand as she stops in front of a grand, gated home. The maid runs out to the woman leaving the house as soon as Lisset sees her, she immediately recognizes her. “Mama!” she says to herself, tears pooling in her eyes.

Frida is quizzing Montse as Marta comes in. They tell her what happened and she gasps, very distressed.

“How is she” Florencia asks Vincente. “Mal” he answers as he bows his head. He blames himself and for once Florencia says the right thing that no, it was an accident. He dissolves in tears as she rubs his back supportively.

A distraught Erick arrives at Alejandro’s. Alejandro lets him in and a crying Erick tells him he must contact Lorena as Gabriela was run over, is gravely injured and her life is in danger. Alejandro immediately recalls the Thug menacing him, threatening, showing him pictures of Alfredo, Sofia and Gabriela!

I wish I were able to understand more about what the various doctor’s diagnoses were! Please fill in anything important that I missed or that I misconstrued.

EXTRAS

The doctor determines that Facundo was having an anaphylactic reaction to what he ate. It was serious. It turns out that he was allergic to one of the kind of mushrooms that was in his mushroom omelette. The kind of mushroom he is allergic can be determined via a test. Facundo is swearing off mushrooms for now.

Frida,with the maracas and mixed drinks, is trying to create a Brazilian experience as she tries to convince Darío that Brazil would be a marvelous place to move to. Darío agrees but says he never could. He likes where he lives and he has the bar. His son has his school and friends. She backs off saying she was only fantasizing.

Patricio warns his daughter one more time that Lorena has turned into an obsession for her due to her past with Alejandro.

I am thinking that Frida knows already knows what her diagnosis is going to be. Should be interesting.

They did a good job with the makeup making Gabriela look all abraded from the street.

Diana, good job, and Jarifa also. I was pretty sure it was an allergic reaction when Facundo's throat tightened and he got all red. I don't understand why the hospital didn't use Gabriela's phone, or the lady on the street. If she was able to see Vincente's phone number it wasn't locked I assume. Not that him getting to the hospital any sooner would have made a difference.

Vincente was hoping to get the little boys mother into rehab somehow is what I gleaned.

Frida didn't want to go to an ER, Dario set up an appointment with a private practice and is paying the bill.I wonder if that rash was shingles. Psoriatic eczema possibly. I think both can go into remission and flare back up. Not sure severe fatigue is a symptom of either though.

I so appreciate your always enlightening and helpful explanations. It did seem like Facundo was choking, I should have guessed "anaphylactic" shock but didn't!

Also, Frida trying to create a Brazilian buzz went right over my head! I guess Dario feels there's no place like home and even her fun moves weren't enough to convince him.

I fear Amanda is going to learn a very hard lesson as her jealousy and anger continue to be unabated.

"I am thinking that Frida knows already knows what her diagnosis is going to be" seems to be sadly true!

I hope Vincente is able to help Teo's mother; she seemed in desperately bad shape!

Frida did appear to have a bad rash but I'm thinking that her illness may be something all together different from her skin issue? I have no idea what that might be.

I especially liked the scene with Vicente at the foundation. One of the better PSA's (along with food allergies) in this novela. The rep made it clear that they did not offer rehab but he could refer him to an agency that did. He then asked Vicente if the woman he was talking about AGREED to going to rehab. Vicente explained that she was so strung out that he couldn't talk to her. The rep informed him that it would be important for him to gain her trust before he proposed that she get treatment. It was realistic bringing up the possibility that not all addicts are up to/want to be cured of their addiction and that she had free agency.

"It was realistic bringing up the possibility that not all addicts are up to/want to be cured of their addiction and that she had free agency" is exactly right. Friends, family and society can want sobriety for others, offering fervent prayers and pleas, but it is up to the person as to whether or not they choose to do so.

FUGITIVAS #47 Part 1

Previously: A distraught Erick arrives at Alejandro’s. Alejandro lets him in and a crying Erick tells him he must contact Lorena right away! Gabriela is gravely injured; she was run over and her life is in danger. Alejandro immediately recalls the Thug menacing him, threatening, showing him pictures of Alfredo, Sofia and Gabriela!

The conversation continues as Erick tells Alejandro is in a coma. Alejandro angrily mutters through clenched teeth.

Lisset watches the car leave the hacienda as her mother, in a pink and white maid’s uniform, goes into the house.

Alejandro calls unsuspecting Lorena, who is in a playful mood. He tells her Gabriela is in the hospital. What happened she asks through her shock and grief. She was in an accident and is in a coma. “Lorena are you all right” he asks (good heavens man, of course she isn’t). “No” she manages, barely able to speak. Montse was at the hospital, which is how he found out. He promises to tell her everything that occurs. He advises her to be calm but she is anything but as she cries, sliding down the wall.

Montse wonders if Gabriela might die and is immediately admonished by Frida and Marta. It is a possibility she insists sadly.

Florencia manages to pry Vincente away for coffee. Big mouth bass Vero tells Arturo Florencia is at the hospital, with Gabriela. He seems shocked (was that real or a superb bit of acting?) as she tells him Gabriela was in an accident and is in a coma.

Lorena’s boss finds her crying and Lorena tells her the fate that befell her sister. “Dios Mio” she replies, trying to comfort Lorena, soothing her hair.

In the hospital coffee shop, Vincente tells Florencia about talking to the foundation about Teo’s mother. Then, Florencia tells him she and Ismael are separating.

“Princesa” Ericks calls out seeing Lisset. She hands him the paper with the address he had given her and he immediately realizes she went to see her mother. She is overcome with emotion telling him what happened. Then he gives her the bad news about Gabriela. They go inside and talk with the other women. Gabriela is the only family Lorena has Lisset says, if anything happens she will be all alone.

Lorena is in her room, goes to her closet, retrieves her knapsack and hurriedly throws a few items of clothing in the bag.

I think Amanda asks Patricio if it is true Ismael and Lorena had an affair. He is highly annoyed by the question.

FUGITIVAS #47 Part 2

Lorena tells her friend Marcela that her sister had an accident.

Arturo arrives at the hospital asking for Gabriela as Alejandro watches him unseen. Arturo calls Florencia and asks an employee where the cafeteria is.

After Arturo leaves, Alejandro emerges and goes to the desk, asking for information on Gabriela. Are you family she asks? Yes, I am her uncle he lies. She pages the doctor and when he arrives, Alejandro asks how she is. She is in a coma the doctor explains…

Arturo arrives at the cafeteria and sits with Vincente and Florencia.

Alejandro calls Sofia and needs to see her right away.

Marta catches Matias smoking and doing some quick thinking, tells him to come with her.

Marcela drives Lorena to the bus stop and they hug goodbye.

Vincente and Arturo still can’t be in the same room without having an angry confrontation.

Lorena texts Alejandro she is getting on the bus.

Sofia meets with Alejandro and he tells her what happened. He wants her to investigate the man who threatened him.

Carmen goes to visit her old boss who tells her that Frida is gravely ill!! Carmen is shocked but without a trace of sympathy.

On the bus, Lorena recalls happy memories of being with her sister. She cries as the nice woman sitting next to her pats her arm in support.

FUGITIVAS #47 Part 4 of 4

Alejandro calls Lorena and tells her he is at the hospital and Gabriela is still in a coma. He tells her Vincente is with her. He says the only important thing is that Gabriela come out of the coma. He tells her to be very, very careful. Te amo she says.

Ismael again expresses his sympathy and he and Vincente embrace. With that he bids goodnight and with nothing more than a curt nod to Florencia and Arturo, leaves. Florencia, furious, stops him.

Frida sets out on an errand; Montse offers to accompany her but Frida says no.

Sofia calls Alejandro and says something about Marquez’ phone. He smiles.

Carmen is outside as Frida leaves the house. Carmen crosses the street to follow her.

When Nico and Amanda talk, another policeman comes in and hands her a folder; is it about Gabriela (?)

Lorena is in a cab and unfortunately the driver recognizes her although he can’t pinpoint exactly where. Lorena puts her hoodie up around her face.

Carmen accosts Frida on the sidewalk. Frida looks unhappy, appearing as though she would give anything to have Carmen simply disappear. Unfortunately, that did not occur. Carmen gloats, practically salivating when she licks her lips saying she knows Frida’s secret – she is dying…

This was a very difficult episode to try and translate. Hopefully I got some of it right. Kindly fill in and/or correct what I missed and/or got wrong.

Juana #42 part 1

Paula is choking Camila, Camila has a heavy vase and threatens to hit Paula in the face. She tells her she offered Juana money to leave Gabriel, she did it for Paula. Paula says Camila has to help her or she and Juana will end up the same.

Gabriel gives some papers to Tania for her to guard. One of the men is holding a box. Gabriel thanks Tania for being his eyes in the house and for calling him when Juana was here. Tania says she’s afraid of Paula and might not stay. The man agrees. (Security guy?). Tania tells Gabriel to take care of Juana. He gets a call from David, who tells him how Paula is upsetting Juana. He tells him to fix his life with Paula.

Paula and Camila have to come up with a plan since Gabriel is so in love with Juana. Either Juana or the baby have to cease to exist.

Rogelio gives papers to Camacho to give to Quiroz, who is helping the lawyer with Paula’s divorce. Camacho tells Rogelio that Paula is at Camila’s. Rogelio tells him to move that tree or they’ll be two dead bodies.

Juana apologizes for coming to David. Her grandmother would know by her fave something is wrong. David thinks she was very brave to confront Paula. David wishes he can do more. Juana says listening to her is a big help. He’s her only friend.

Dani’s mom mentions she hasn’t seen Juana. Did they fight. Dani says no, Juana the virgin is selfish. Her mom tells her she needs to be compassionate.

Gabriel is thinking of what David said when Carlos sees him, he was worried about him. Today the Spaniards are coming and they have to get ready. He’s worried that Juana is with David. Carlos tells him he can see in her eyes how Juana loves Gabriel, don’t be jealous. But take care of business first. Gabriel has to make sure Juana will be safe first.

Paula wants Camila to get someone from her neighborhood to make Juana and the baby disappear. Camila doesn’t want to but then she thinks about Carlos talking about the love between Gabriel and Juana and agrees too do it.

Juana feels guilty eating the food Dani fixed for David. David answers a knock at the door. It’s Gerardo. He has orders to accompany her to her house. When she asks how he knew she was here David tells her he called him, he also tells what he said. Juana seems annoyed.

Gabriel thanks Carlos for being a mother and father to him. He tells him Paula is like her father, cold, calculating. Let the lawyers handle it.

Paula is annoyed with David. She wants her freedom. She tells Gerardo she can get herself home. He tells her her life is in danger. That puts the baby’s life in danger. She goes with him

Rogelio asks Paula why she went to Camila’s. She knows it’s his apartment. She knows he’s had lovers over the years. Amparo comes down the stairs, asking if everything’s ok. She and Paula leave.

Gabriel is having a meeting. He wants them to make the investors feel at home. Enriqueta asks if he’s ok, can she help him. He thanks her. She’d like to invite Felipe to the toasts.

Gerardo and Juana arrive at her home. He’s going to remain outside. She doesn’t think he needs to, but only Gabriel can tell him to go. Jenny is glad he’s there. Mismo thanks him. Jenny feels with all that happens the protection is good. Jenny tells her to leave her in peace.

Gabriel thanks his staff for all they do. He gives a toast. Then gets a call from Juana. She doesn’t need Gerardo guarding her house. It makes her uncomfortable. He asks why she went to David. She had to talk to someone, he’s her only friend. He couldn’t go to him because it’s his wife.

Someone sees Camila in the neighborhood. She goes to her mom and tells her to pack quickly. The guy that saw her is at the door. He hasn’t seen her in a long time.

Patricio is annoyed that Amanda is bringing up that Lorena and Ismael were lovers. He tells her that one thing has nothing to do with another. She tells him to ask himself why they haven't been able to catch her. Since they had a personal relationship, he must be protecting her. Patricio doesn't see that Ismael has mixed his personal life with his work life (as Patricio has warned her daughter not to do). He thinks that Ismael has done everything possible to catch Lorena. Patricio adds that when one decides to mix one's personal life with one's work life, they must remember" He without sin, cast the first stone." That shuts Amanda up.

Arturo and Vicente argue about Gabriela's care but it seems that Vicente just cannot stand to have his father around. Arturo says the only reason he came was so Vicente wouldn't feel abandoned by his family.

Marta feels like a mother to all of the girls.

Perla aka Carmen returns to her old workplace. Her old boss thinks she is there to give him the money she owes him. She says no, because she never stole anything from him. She is there to get her job back. He thinks she has a lot of nerve. He sarcastically asks if she didn't leave there for greener pastures. She says she left because she was in love with a man who loved her but then Frida took him away from her. That surprises her old boss who cannot believe that Frida is still alive. She is very ill. He thought she would have been dead by now.
Carmen is happy to hear that so she can be around to console the man she took from her. She asks her old boss for a job. He remarks there is nobody like her when it comes to pole dancing. She is thinking of a job as a cashier. He tells her that NOBODY handles his money except for him. He tells her all he can offer her is pole dancing. She has to take the job. He says she can start today, if she wants and caresses her face. He tells her to dress in a showy way. If you don't show it, you can't sell it.

Alejandro works with Sofía on a sketch of the thug they are looking for. Sofía thinks he might have a criminal history. She is going to take a look at a register of criminals on file. Maybe they will be able to identify him. She also advises him to file a complaint with the police for the attack on him. The thug might have a criminal record on file already. He agrees.

Marta tells Matías that she has told the girls they can stay as long as they want but he must be aware that they could leave at any time if there is a danger of them being caught. He asks if she is going to tell his father the truth about the girls. She says no. That is between them. Marta is willing to take full responsibility for covering for the fugitives if the police get involved. Matías doesn't want to see the girls or her back in jail. She hopes not but only God knows.

Sofía tells Alejandro that she is going to try to hack Márquez's phone so they can hear if he talks to the thug. Later we find out she is successful. Márquez's phone has been hacked.

Ismael tells Vicente, in the presence of Arturo and Flo, that he is having the traffic recordings from the area Gabriela was hit in reviewed. If the car was recorded, he hopes they can see the license plates which should be enough to find the person responsible. Suddenly, Arturo looks worried. Ismael reminds them all that what happened to Gabriela is a serious crime. Vicente says the person has to pay for what he did to Gabriela. Ismael says he can be sure of that.
 

FUGITIVAS

EXTRAS #2

When Nico is talking with Amanda, an officer comes in and gives her a folder with photos of the streets/cars. She agrees to give it to Ismael. She opens the folder and finds out that it has to do with Gabriela Lorena's sister having been hit by a car. Nico wonders why Ismael would be investigating the case. Amanda has no idea. Nico doesn't miss the chance to say that he thinks there is something fishy going on.

Frida makes it clear that she is in no mood to cause Carmen problems. She won't tell Darío anything about her past if they can be at peace with each other. Carmen agrees saying why would they fight over Darío when Frida has nothing to offer him. She knows Frida is dying and demands to know how much more time she has.
 

Juana #42 part 2

Manuel comes home. Asks Rogelio if he’s going to the activities with the Spaniards. Then tells him the detectives have free rein in the brewery and think that’s where the disappearance of Francisco and the other things are centered. Rogelio thinks Manuel is about to cry. Rogelio calls Camacho, who tells him Camila went to her mother’s. He tells him to keep an eye on her.

Jenny asks Juana if she’s in a better mood. Juana doesn’t like a guard. Jenny says with more money comes less freedom. Josefina comes in and mentions Gabriel. Juana excuses herself to study. Then Josefina tells Jenny that a friend of Paula’s came around offering Juana money if she left Gabriel.

David is talking to the redhead about Juana’s add. He wants the exact colors that Juana used. He asks her about the office and she tells him about the big fight Paula and Gabriel had with the lawyers there. He tells her Juana has nothing to do with this. Next time he’ll see her in the office. She asks who’s helping him and he tells her Juana is.

Jenny andJosefina are talking. Josefina doesn’t think Juana’s telling the whole truth. Then Jenny asks about Margarita. She’s on the roof, she helped her with the clothes but looks so sad.

Ramon is much better, but turns his back when the police come in. The nun tells him they’re looking for a Señor Bravo, his family is desperate to find him.

Gabriel is on the phone with Gerardo. He tells him to come to the brewery, Juana doesn’t want to be guarded. Carlos comes in.

Enriqueta is at the garage and meets Hugo Prieto, our Chimis, who is quite charming. Enriqueta asks Felipe why he’s not answering her calls. He says with the way he feels he wants to keep his distance. She invites him to the event at the brewery. She’ll be waiting for him. Chimis asks Felipe why he’s let her leave, she’s beautiful and he should be caring for her.

Paula and her mom are eating out. Mom is surprised she’s so content in spite of the divorce. Paula says that’s under control. She’s going to kill two birds with one stone. Those gold-diggers, Juana and Camila.

Yadira seems to think she’s going out with Salvador. Her two friends tell her Juana has a millionaire. Salvador walks by and she tries to hold on to him. Her friends tell her he’s going to see Jenny.

Juana is thinking of what Gerardo told her. Jenny comes in asking why she didn’t tell her about Paula’s friend coming around. Now she understands why Gabriel wanted security for her. She asks what’s wrong and Juana tells her about Paula’s plan to take the baby.

Paula is talking fashion but her mom wants to know about this vengeance she’s using Camila for. Paula tells her not to worry, everything will be fine. She’s gets a text and leaves. She meets Camila who tells her she’s got someone to do the job. Meanwhile the guy that was at the door is telling two others that they’ve got a job.

Jenny is asking Juana why she confronted Paula alone. Juana says Paula is crazy. Jenny seems to see the danger. Salvador comes over to tell them what they know about the whereabouts of Ramon.

Paula wants to give Camila the money to pay the guy. Camila says she found him, you have to go pay him. We’re in this together.

Salvador says they’ve checked all the shelters, and other places. No one by the name of Ramon Bravo has registered anywhere. He thinks he’s left the area. Jenny says he’s too sick to leave, she thinks he registered with a different name.

Camila goes into Gabriel’s office. She says he’s too sick looks nice, he says she does. Then he asks why she went to the woman he loves and offered her money to go

Juana. 42 part 2 continued
Salvador says they won’t stop looking for Ramon. Josefina says he’s their savior. She takes Margarita to the kitchen to fix him something, and leave him alone with Jenny. Salvador asks if she knows who else disappeared, the bear he gave her. Jenny says that’s strange. She takes off his glasses and tells him he has pretty eyes. I think she tells him she took the bear because she likes him(the bear or Salvador-inquiring minds want to know). They’re about to kiss when Josefina and Margarita enter with food and drink. Josefina thinks Ramon would use his father’s name, Antonio Jose.

Marta is taking such a risk allowing the Fugitivas to stay! Actually fear of getting caught doesn't seem the riskiest component. Once Dario finds out (which seems inevitable), this might well rupture her relationship with her son once and for all.

"Suddenly, Arturo looks worried". He certainly did although he did a masterful job of looking sincerely upset at one or two points. I actually wondered if there might be a third party behind the hit and run after all. But as you noted, he had the look of "uh oh" there.

Carmen "knows Frida is dying and demands to know how much more time she has". Cold. Stone cold.

You answered all the questions I had Jarifa and did so in your always illuminating and fascinating style. Thank you.

I have to say it's funny Patrichio has to point out to Amanda she shouldn't act all 'how dare he' when it comes to Ismael. At this point her vengeful attitude is kind of scary. It's also interesting she can face the worst criminals but can't tell the truth to Ismael. I wonder if she is mistrustful in general or if she had kept her mouth shut if Alejandro wasn't involved.
Diana, I have to admit I laughed at 'night has fallen' and later 'tell me you had nothing to do with it.' It amuses me to think Arturo just told the night it's time to show up because he is tired of all the scheming and needs to sleep.
I loved Marta telling Matias that smoking is an expensive vice in prison so she quit.I envy him such a cool grandmother.

Why would Gabriel give papers to Tania to safeguard as he also takes a box of paperwork. That makes no sense to me. Dani was looking very smart in her little black dress on the way to the hairdresser. Hopefully David will start noticing her.

When Camila went to her old barrio dude she got to her mother's place? Since she had a key I'm thinking yes. Was that one of Gabriel's security detail that spied on her?

Is the guy that came to her mom's the same that spied on her?

Kay, I don’t know why he’d give papers to Tania, but she is obviously loyal to him, not Paula. And not sure what the man(security?)was going to do with the box. I would think they’d be safest at the hacienda.
Yes, she went straight to her mom’s, which is a really strange place. I first thought the guy watching her was security from Rogelio, but then when the guy showed up at the door talking about not seeing her in so long i figured he was the guy watching her. But i could be wrong. Rogelio’s guy knew she was at her mom’s. Thanks for the correction, she sent the maid away!
I had 3 comments from you, the last one said you had replied to this section but it disappeared. It may be a coincidence, but i feel that if i look back over what i wrote, then hit publish, it’s more likely to disappear.

OT, Liz. Well not looking back over what I have written is guaranteed to have a bunch of mistakes I won't catch as only 5 lines show at a time! And the comment on the second section is gone. It was quite lengthy but I've already forgotten what I wrote so no biggie! If I watch Juana a day later the default CC's come up in English so if there are items you weren't sure about i can look them up.

Amanda is intelligent but lets her emotions rule her especially her thirst for vengence as you noted. How disappointed Patricio is going to be when he finds out what she's done.

Thank you to Liz , Diana, and jarifa, for the amazing recaps. The holidays have sped into gear quickly , and my family and I have been doing a lot in the last week and weekend , so I haven't been able to keep up with the shows , and I am just catching up on the recaps.

I have been trying to keep up with the 4 shows , and Fam2 and Venganza are getting too dark , violent ,and hopeless for me, so I am letting them go as holiday activities are increasing . I will watch and keep up with recaps for Juana and Fugitivas. Both are really interesting and the recaps and comments are great !!! Thanks all!!! Susan , busy busy
